night in one of Peru's most haunted places which is the Grand Hotel Bolivar
in Lima it's such a beautiful charming old building and I really can't wait to
show you around so let's go explore
in 1924 the luxurious Gran Hotel Bolivar was constructed overlooking what
is now the plaza san martin in lima peru it was the first large hotel to be built
in lima in the hope of modernizing the city what history has led to the gran
bolivar hotel to be considered one of the most haunted places in peru the
sophisticated and prestigious building was intended to be a base for visiting
political dignitaries being just blocks from the peru government palace the
hotel was the resting place for many international emperors and presidents it
also attracted the likes of Hollywood stars and famous musicians over the
years it was a place where Ava Gardner drank pisco sours the Rolling Stones
partied and Orson Welles John Wayne Julio Iglesias and Santana stayed as the
years passed the Grand Hotel Bolivar's popularity elegance and appeal began to
fade though the establishments charm remains it has been plagued with an
array of ghost stories that have continued to add to its decline
many have reportedly encountered the apparition of a ghostly woman in white
roaming the many long winding corridors of the hotel others believe that a woman
who once took her own life by flinging herself from one of the hotel's upper
windows remains trapped within the hotel there are also a few former employees
said to continue their work duties after death many have encountered the ghost of
a former bellboy throughout the hotel whilst at least one account of sighting
a former security employee roaming the upper levels exists so now I've shown
you guys around the hotel I really want to give you a look at my room
is the Grand Hotel Bolivar haunted and what is the hotel attempting to hide on
its upper floors I investigated hey guys now that we're in the dark let's get

is there anyone here who wants to communicate alright guys so the last
thing that I want to show you around tonight is the top floors of the hotel I
read online that floors 5 & 6 have been blocked up to the public due to high
instances of paranormal activity I haven't been up there yet and I have no
idea whether this is true but that sounds like something we might want to
take a look at
check it out
that myth is true and it's definitely blocked off I don't know if it's because
paranormal
which I can't tell if it's it's just been blocked off for so long or they've been you know doing
works or renovations or I don't know how far out you can see but it doesn't look
like the walls are painted or anything so I've just caught the elevator it has no up
button it does have Ievels five and six here but they don't work all right guys
I've checked both staircases going up stairs they're both blocked off the
elevators blocked off reception has told me that it is not due to haunting but
for maintenance but I'm not so sure because it's so dusty up there it looks
like no one has been up there in a very very long time

We are going to look at an important refit inside an appartement Belle Epoque on French rivera.
Realisation has been in conformance with classical French Building rules (batiments de France)
with only qualified workers.
We removed unintersting tapestry
with taking care of all molding of age.
We wanted to light and modernise
with a softer design style
by softening ambient colors
white walls which highlight the furnitures
Of course we preserved all the original sculpted woodworks
and the wood floor.
and highlight the whole using vivid colors on the chairs.
The librairy has been restored with a lot of care
to the molding and rosettes
We preeserve in that one the Chineese tapestry
typical from this age
Armchair has been revisited with
a bright yellow velvet in harmony
with the silk curtains which contrasts with the almond green of the wall
Old kitchen has been removed to
offer the space at a fonctionnal set
one of the rare modernized room
Bathrooms as been completly renoved
with the plumbing from twentees
We kept a touch from age in the materials choice
for this bathroom.
The other one is more modern
with its Italian shower style.
