News on Youtube Sep 2 2017

Good afternoon,

You have probably noticed that during my visits to the regions

I am trying

to meet representatives of both business and the public.

Naturally, it is impossible to talk with everyone

but I still gain a general impression that is useful

for me and my colleagues,

as well as the Government

and the relevant region.

I hope it is useful for a particular region

because if we reveal some problems during such meetings,

we try to bring a positive influence to the situation together

with the regional team and government.

Yaroslavl has very good potential.

You know this even better than me.

It has everything – industry, agriculture and science.

I must say a lot was done in the past few years.

I hope

even more will be done

in the near future with your talents and the efforts

of your administration.

Let us talk about this.

What interesting areas do you see,

what questions would you like to ask

and what problems need special attention

in your opinion?

As far as I understand,

Mr Mironov and the team he is assembling

from among the region's residents prepared

a development programme for a fairly long term.

This is very important because as we know well,

victory belongs to those who have a plan.

If you have a plan,

that is great.

We can discuss this issue

or any other that you consider important.

We have talked on various topics.

They are all interesting,

and each separately matters.

Mr. Governor, I want to wish success to you

and all your colleagues.

Also, to all residents of Yaroslavl and Yaroslavl region.

Success in the implementation of all these plans.

For our part, we will provide all possible support.

We will monitor and facilitate the implementation

of these projects.

All the best.

Thank you so much.

Group Crisis Counseling and Public Education Crisis Counseling Program (CCP) Training - Duration: 12:57.

NIKKI BELLAMY: Welcome to the Crisis Counseling Assistance and Training Program,

also known as the CCP.

Whether you're just starting out or are weeks into providing services,

this video is meant to help you understand the ins and outs

of group crisis counseling encounters and learn some tips and best practices

for facilitating or leading a group encounter.

My name is Nikki Bellamy, and I'm a Public Health Advisor with the

Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration's

Disaster Technical Assistance Center, or SAMHSA DTAC.

For more than 10 years, I've assisted CCP grantees like you

with administering their grants and running their programs

in response to devastating impact of US hurricanes, wildfires,

tornadoes, and severe flooding to tsunami and typhoons

affecting our island territories in the Pacific Ocean.

Every disaster is different, and so is every community and every grant.

As part of the CCP provided by SAMHSA and the Federal Emergency Management Agency,

you are here to help people whose lives have been disrupted, who may have friends or family

who have died or been displaced, and whose homes

and property may have been damaged or destroyed.

While most people recover from a disaster,

some community members may be experiencing complicated

or traumatic grief, or they may still be in shock days, weeks,

and even months after a disaster strikes.

It may take time for a survivor to feel comfortable talking about

his or her recovery with another individual—and sharing about personal loss

in a group including strangers can be especially difficult.

That's where you come in.

This video is meant to help you prepare to facilitate or lead an effective

group crisis counseling encounter with confidence.

I'll share tips and best practices from experienced crisis counselors

and team leaders who have been in your position.

This training will complement the online and in-person trainings

you've already undergone—or are about to undergo—for your CCP grant.

Let's talk about group crisis counseling.

It involves services that help group members achieve these goals.

Understand their current situation and reactions to the disaster.

Review or discuss their options.

Obtain emotional support or referrals.

Learn skills to cope with their current situations and reactions.

The CCP focuses on two types of groups: public education groups

and support, or self-help, groups.

Public education involves the distribution or delivery of educational information,

such as presentations, brochures, or training,

on CCP or crisis counseling-related topics.

In a public education session, the crisis counselor does most of the talking.

Group crisis counseling involves providing and facilitating support or education to a

group to help members cope with their situations and reactions.

In these settings, group participants do most of the talking

and are active and engaged with one another.

Group counseling may vary from less structured,

purely educational groups to more structured support groups.

All groups are likely to share some elements of support and education.

No matter what type of group you're facilitating,

group crisis counseling encounters should provide participants

with emotional support, coping skills, and referrals to other services if needed.

Let's say you have been asked to speak to 10 community members

at a local church after a tornado hit their small, rural town.

The group is quite chatty, exchanging stories and discussing the damage.

As a facilitator, do you jump right in and take over the discussion?

In a support group, it is actually acceptable to allow members

to begin the dialogue and create the dynamic.

As the facilitator you can encourage discussions to continue

by asking for additional details.

Inquire whether other survivors have had similar experiences.

Guide discussions toward positive topics of rebuilding and developing resilience.

Validate feelings of sadness, anger, or frustration, and ask group members

what strategies they have used to cope with these feelings.

Talk about how much the community or individuals

have already done or plan to do in the recovery process.

Discuss taking small steps that, when added together,

will mean big accomplishments.

You should meet the group where they are, so the format and content

of the group and materials presented should be tailored to their needs,

which can mean having materials in a language other than English.

In group crisis counseling sessions, you have an opportunity

to identify the various cultural groups or particularly vulnerable populations

in need of services and to check in with them to be sure that provided services,

resources, and even conversations are accessible, appropriate, and equitable.

In addition to recruiting staff from the disaster-impacted neighborhoods

and multi-lingual counseling staff, many CCP grantees report that crisis

counselors and team leads always travel with materials in multiple languages.

This includes Spanish or other native languages

specific to the impacted communities as well as English for self-help,

managing stress, and dealing with disasters.

If your team doesn't do this already, talk to your team leaders

about whether you should start.

During a group crisis counseling session, you also have an opportunity

to involve cultural brokers, neighborhood liaisons

and community leaders in a meaningful way.

If appropriate, invite them to a meeting to share their beliefs on healing, trauma,

and loss, or ask for help co-facilitating a session for a specific population.

Whether you're actively facilitating a session

or allowing the group to lead the discussion,

group members will look to you for guidance and expertise.

Counselors in other CCPs have shared the importance of encouraging

open-ended questions and showingempathy.

Asking how an individual was affected by the disaster,

or even simply how he or she is feeling overall,

can usually result in an engaging, ongoing interaction.

A few key points about leadership.

Excellent listening skills are a must!

Stimulate communication among group members,

rather than between individual members and you.

Pay attention to the verbal and nonverbal reactions of every group member,

and make changes to your approach if needed.

Be aware of the differing personalities of the group members,

while always searching for common themes.

Speak often, but briefly, to guide the conversation,

especially in time-limited groups.

Effective leadership demands the ability to make short,

simple, meaningful comments.

Remember that survivors who have recently experienced a disaster

or other traumatic event may be experiencing grief.

They may have difficulty imagining an end to the pain they are feeling, and these raw

emotions can affect others in the group, as well as the overall group dynamic.

In addition, group members may be frustrated with their

complex emotions and may want to vent

about the sense that they are not getting the help they need.

Experienced crisis counselors recommend remaining calm,

maintaining eye contact, keeping positive,

and repeating reaffirming messages that you are here to help.

During a group encounter, group members may inquire

about symptoms on which you may not be authorized to give advice,

but you can provide concrete information and make appropriate referrals

to mental health and substance use professionals and organizations.

If the discussion becomes negative, be prepared to guide group members

back toward more positive topics, such as maintaining a feeling of optimism

or offering to practice techniques with the group to manage stress

and anxiety such as deep breathing exercise or a meditation activity.

Promote the idea that people can and will get through difficult times successfully.

This belief can help people build their resilience

and recover from a disaster more quickly.

Remember that a group should be in a safe place in which people, families,

and communities can freely share their feelings without worrying

about other people knowing their personal business.

The concept of confidentiality should be brought up early

and repeated often so group members are at ease.

When facilitating the group, make sure that each member

has a chance to talk and that no one person is dominating the conversation.

At the same time, respect a group member's desire

to listen quietly if he or she doesn't want to talk.

Having a writing implement and paper material for each member

of the group will allow those who are uncomfortable

with talking, to express him or herself.

Open up by sharing a time when you witnessed the capacity

to recover from an incident or encourage the group to share their success stories.

Some groups may warrant more structure than others;

however, it can be empowering for group members to become actively engaged

in the process of deciding what they would like to achieve in group sessions.

In this video, we've covered some important points

that build on other CCP trainings.

You can revisit these ideas online or discuss them with your team members.

As you work with survivors following a disaster,

keep in mind that you are there to help people recover.

It may not be easy, and it may take time, but it will have a positive impact.

Visit this website to find additional agencies and tools

such as helplines, treatment locators, and many resources available

at the state and federal level.

Thank you for watching this training video,

and thank you for the important work you do.

Arcimoto Reg A+ Initial Public Offering - Interview - Duration: 10:12.

My name is Mark Frohnmayer.

I'm the founder of Arcimoto.

The initial problems we were trying to solve, really three: we wanted to provide something

from the very beginning that is an order of magnitude more efficient with space and with

energy and materials.

If you look at the way people drive every day, it's: going to work, going to the grocery

store, going to the gym, going out on a date, whatever it is, it's almost all one, sometimes

two people, with a relatively small amount of stuff.

And so that's really the use case that we've been very focused on, is how do we take 90%

of the vehicle trips out there, and do them in a much much more efficient way.

At the same time, we wanted to provide that solution in a way that is actually affordable

to the mass market.

Until you can get into a price range that ordinary mortals can afford, you're really

not moving the needle on the fundamental problem of environmentally sustainable transportation.

And I think the third thing that we discovered along the way, is that if you do those other

two things right, that you also make something that's just incredibly fun to drive.

The statistics on driving are striking.

About 76% of vehicle trips are taken alone,

another about 10% are with just one other person.

So that's 85% of vehicle trips, they're still taken in a vehicle that can carry 5-7 people

300 miles, but it's typically one person, driving alone, on an average 33 miles per day.

And, one of the nice aspects of the Arcimoto is that you can look at it, and suddenly go,

"Oh, actually, you know, this will get me to work.

This will get me to the grocery store.

If I just think about how I drive on a regular basis, and it's affordable enough that I could

get one of these, and still keep my car for those rare times when I need it."

Now, our thesis is that you're gonna get an Arcimoto, you're gonna keep your car, you're

gonna realize that you haven't driven your car in 3 1/2 weeks, and that you've been having

a joyful time ripping around town in the Arcimoto every day, and that it actually makes sense

to just let go of your car, and if you need that extra capability, to rent it on demand,

either from Enterprise, or from Zip Car, or from Car-to-Go, or any... you know, really

look at the car as this sort of extraordinary device that you use once per month, twice

per month, but that your daily trips are all being done in a radically more efficient vehicle.

The design constraints, from the beginning, have been about really two pieces: cost and efficiency.

And wanting to deliver something that is incredibly efficient, at a low cost, that still serves

the everyday driver.

If you look at the iteration of our vehicle prototypes, you can really see how the thinking

evolved along the way.

The biggest change that we made in one shot was ditching the automotive seating format

and switching more to like what a city scooter would have.

And that's what gave us a product that was comfortable for two people, had room for storage,

great dual-motor front-wheel drive, low center of gravity, but also parks in the space that

it takes to park a motorcycle.

We have seen interest from... everything from delivery fleets to vacation rental-type fleets

to mom-and-pop shops that rent out scooters in the Hawaiian islands, to everything in

between on the fleet side.

Uber wants a less expensive, more efficient vehicle, so that their drivers can take home

a bigger portion of the paycheck than they're currently spending on fuel, maintenance, and

the vehicle itself.

And so when you look at something like Uber Eats, if you're out there picking up lunch

and taking it somewhere across town, especially in an urban environment where your parking

is severely constrained, this vehicle lets you pull in to the maneuvering zone between

two cars that are parallel parked, get out, walk into the restaurant, pick up your delivery,

get back on the vehicle, go to where you're dropping it off. Along the way you're able

to make great progress through traffic, you can move down parking lanes that full-sized

cars can't, you can make lights that other cars won't. As we get into a production stage,

I think we all see a longer-term vision that would include really leveraging that for their

drivers.

Within two years, multiple manufacturers will have autonomous-ready vehicles that can do,

you know, take you from door-to-door.

So, the autonomous drive is right around the corner.

What we see as the grand intersection is: the autonomous driven vehicles, the electric

drive, and fundamentally more efficient vehicle platforms.

And really, it's been that third area that has been Arcimoto's focus from day one.

Along the way, we have really done some core innovations in the electric vehicle drive

train, a new dual-motor gearbox backbone, new focus on the electric vehicle battery,

and certainly we are making a platform that is, from day one, going to be autonomous capable.

But really when you look at integrating all of those capabilities, what you have is finally

a transportation system where you hit a button on your phone, an incredibly efficient little

electric vehicle pulls up, takes you where you want to go, and as a result, you have

dramatically fewer overall vehicles in service, you can begin to reclaim parking lots, parking

lanes, the lanes necessary for vehicle travel become smaller, and then that opens up much

more of the road for bicycles, for pedestrians, for other more efficient modes of transportation.

The city of the 21st century has the potential to be a garden compared to the city of the 1900s.

If you look at the traditional automotive industry through the lens of disruption theory,

disruption innovation, it really makes a lot of sense that they're slow-playing their entry into it.

For decades and decades and decades, they've been moving in really the opposite direction,

culminating with the invention of the sport utility vehicle, which is the polar opposite

of the Arcimoto.

If you look at what's happening at the high end of the market, Tesla is just eating everybody's

lunch in the luxury car market space, and with the model 3, I would expect that that

is going to be much more so.

You'll have all of the luxury car makers, all of the high-end car makers, I think are

going to very much regret that they were not earlier movers in this space.

If you looked at Tesla in the early days, the chorus of naysayers was quite strong.

You can go back and watch Who Killed the Electric Car? and the industry pundits who said, "Tesla

is toast" over and over and over again.

Now what you see is you see a company out there that has more than 400,000 reservations,

they're jockeying with GM and Ford for the most valuable car company in the country.

We have a huge amount of respect here at Arcimoto for what Tesla has done in terms of educating

the world that the electric drive can be awesome, that it can be the best vehicle experience

you've ever had.

Our goal has simply been to say, "Ok, what is the next order of magnitude of efficiency gain?

What's the next way that we can really shrink the footprint of the vehicle platform itself

to deliver that amazing experience to a much wider audience of potential buyers?"

Really for the first eight years of the company's existence, we did not push on reservations.

I think we had a couple hundred folks who said, "I'm in for whatever you guys end up

building whenever you guys end up building it."

Since then we've seen almost a tenfold increase in pre-orders.

And to me, that's been one of those elements that has very much confirmed the product thesis

behind Generation 8.

Someone who buys Arcimoto stock is investing in a few things: they're certainly investing

in a vision of a radically different transportation system.

They're investing in a product vision that's a lot more fun, a lot more nimble, a lot more clean.

And they're investing in a team.

They're investing in a really awesome team.

They're investing in people who are dedicating their lives to making a real solution for the world.

This is an incredibly exciting time for Arcimoto.

The launch of this public offering coincides with the delivery, for the first time, of

Arcimoto vehicles to real customers, and begins our push to production at ever-increasing

manufacturing scale.

For me, it's certainly the most exciting time in the history of the venture to date, and

it's a perfect time to jump on board.

Cheryl makes FIRST public appearance since giving birth to son Bear as she attends Game 4 Grenfell charity match

New mum Cheryl made her first public appearance after welcoming son, Bear Payne, with boyfriend Liam.

The former Girls Aloud star showed her support for the victims of the devastating Grenfell Tower tragedy during a charity football match alongside the likes of Peter Crouch, Olly Murs, Tinie Tempah and Alan Shearer.

Wearing read lipstick with her brunette hair worn naturally wavy, the former X Factor judge was in high spirits as she posed alongside fans at the event. Cheryl pictured arriving at Loftus Road stadium for the Game4Grenfell charity football match.

Cheryl poses with Girls Aloud bandmate Nicola Roberts at Game 4 Grenfell. The 34-year-old had previously sparked rumours that she was set to perform at the event after announcing on Twitter that she would be attending.

I love to see people come together for such an important cause! You can be a part of it, Cheryl wrote, as she urged fans to purchase tickets for the event, which is in aid of the Grenfell community.

Cheryl has been keeping a low-profile since giving birth to her first child on March 22, but reports suggest the singer is returning to work in order to record her fifth album.

After being spotted at the US Embassy in London last month, rumours swirled that the new mum was leaving the country to record new music, something her fans have been begging for since she welcomed son Bear.

An insider told The Mirror: Cheryl's got a longer US visa so she can go back and forth more frequently to the States. She hasn't started working on the new album yet as she is still enjoying her time off with Bear.

But she is looking forward to getting out there and starting recording. She still has ambitions as a singer and will be a working mum.. Earlier this week the couple returned from a holiday together after celebrating Liam's 24th birthday in Mallorca.

Liam Payne shared an adorable shot of son Bear. The Strip That Down star branded his girlfriend superwoman and praised her as he revealed Cheryl flew his friends and family out to Spain to celebrate.

It was amazing, there were multiple surprises throughout the day.

We got away for a little holiday and she had flown all my old school friends out that I literally hadnt seen for a year, so it was amazing to spend time with them.

And then on my actual birthday, she flew my parents out and they spent a bit of time with me. It was really nice for my mum and dad. We were out in Mallorca, it was lovely..

Shes done so well and is so happy with herself. Shes been working hard and if you do work hard, you get what you want, the One Direction star explained.

She had her rest time bonding with Bear at the start. Shes incredible, a natural mum. We take a million pictures of Bear but we want him to be able to decide what he wants to share when hes older..
