So the next thing that we are going to talk about after you deep condition and rinse all
that product out are leave-ins and I actually didn't use to leave a leave-in in my hair
um I just did conditioner and kept going like a normal rinse out conditioner I would just
leave it in and keep going and I actually like the way my hair feels now when I use
an actual leave in product.
Y'all know me and my TJMaxx, and Marshall's, and Ross bit already so you know I got this
there.
I got it at a much cheaper price than I would.
You can find this at Target and I'm not sure where else I always see it at Target.
But this is the Curls Blueberry Bliss Reparative Leave-in conditioner and when I first went
natural I only used Curls products.
Like the original products um the original products that you had to like order off line
this was before they were in stores.
Um and I love their products so much but they made my hair so curly and my hair gets so
much shrinkage and I just I could not do the shrinkage but this stuff y'all and they
have like more products coming out I thik in December um to go along with this blueber
I can not say this word Blueberry Bliss Collection and I like want to try them all.
I'm so excited but this first off smells like blueberries um some type of I can't
even describe it it's like a candy some type of candy this smells like and this stuff
is so conditioning it's really think for a leave-in and it's a reparative leave-in
y'all this stuff bomb get ya some the next one is a shea moisture and I found this one
at TJMaxx for like 4 bucks and I was like I wanna try it and it's when I found the
um deep conditioner so I want to pair them together.
This is a more milky you probably can't see it but this is a more milky consistency
compared to the Curls leave-in um but I like it because it has the marula oil and the biotin
and biotin we all know about biotin if you are natural or been in the natural world for
a while you all know about biotin and so I just wanted to try it and pair it with like
after the deep conditioner just I want to try the whole collection and so I just started
collecting.
Um but this is a really good leave in and detangler.
I would almost probably use this before I straighten my hair because it's so uh milky
it's not heavy at all it's very very light so this really good especially if you are
putting it under a heavier product I wouldn't just put this and gel its not that moisturizing
it is moisturizing but not just to put it with a gel.
Another leave-in conditioner I got and I actually use this more than one way because when I
got it I kind of forgot that it said it was a leave-in.
This is the Garnier Whole Blends Smoothing leave-in conditioner and this is from their
like more natural line um this stuff is really moisturizing it's a thicker consistency
as well um (clock ticking) this is a thick consistency as well and I actually um put
a leave-in under this one and then put this one over it as like my moisturizer/styler
and this stuff y'all if you're looking for drug store wanna go the cheaper route
because you are just getting started or you're on a budget this would be a really good leave-in
product to try.
It is very inexpensive I found this at Wal-mart and actually everywhere Target, Wal-mart,
CVS, Walgreens so try this.
The last leave-in/detangler is a new product for me um I have only tried one product by
this brand it's the kinky curly this is the kinky curly knot today natural leave-in
detangler and that is what is on my hair right now um and last night was my first time trying
this this stuff y'all I've heard about this for a long time and I didn't get into
all the hype I was like I've found cheaper products to use because I'm not gonna lie
this stuff is expensive!
But I finally was like you know I'm going to invest in my hair.
So I tried it and y'all this stuff I only put this on my hair I didn't put any other
kind of cream moisturizer on my hair and this y'all you just have to try it to know.
And the smell I could live without the smell but the product itself is amazing.
This product is not a styler but I use it as such.
This is the aussie mega moist conditioner and this is actually a rinse out conditioner
and yes I have the big bottle clearly dirty the big bottle that I leave in the shower
because like I said sometimes if I'm being lazy or I don't want to use my coconut co-wash
by As I Am.
I pump a few little pumps of this bad boy in the shower to co-wash with and I also leave
it in so I would put in one of my leave-ins and put this over it y'all this stuff is so
moisturizing so I keep one in the shower and one outside the shower so I can have it where
ever I need it and it just has a I can't even describe the smell it smells good.
But this stuff I could put this with a leave in just these products and be done like it
is so moisturizing and thick and it runs through your hair so smooth I know people don't like
to leave in rinse out conditioners in their hair but I'm telling y'all the things they
do I don't know what's in them but they are amazing.
The next product I have is um another Shea Moisture product.
This is the curl enhancing smoothie it's the coconut and hibiscus curl enhancing smoothie
um this product I have a love hate relationship with and I know there are mixed reviews this
is a product that's been around for a long time this is something I have been using for
a very long time and um I had to rediscover it awhile back because it stopped working
or whatever I was mixing with it wasn't working and I had to kind of play with it to learn
how to use it this stuff is not um it's moisturizing but you can't use this as a moisturizer you're
going to have to put something with it and make sure your hair is really really wet when
you apply it because and I'm thinking it might be the silk protein but it doesn't have a
lot of slip now I can put a leave in and this on and that's it and I put a lot of it to
kind of create that gel cast but it um it doesn't have a lot of slip and it does say
moisture and shine and it does leave your hair moisturized and shine but while you are
styling it's not the easiest to work with so you kind of have to play with it make sure
you put something really moisturizing under it um to kind of help give it a little slip
I guess.
But this stuff so good y'all.
I've gone through probably I don't know how many bottles I've been using it for a long
time and this one is like almost gone you can't see but it's almost gone and it's really
kind of sad but it's a really good product try it.
The next one I have is part of the Carol's Daughter little collection that I got together
and this is the Marula Curl Therapy Diffusing and styling lotion and I actually did try
a little of this too and I really like it it's um it doesn't have a really heavy feel
to it so if I use it I would probably put a gel with it because I really don't like
frizzy poofy hair my hair is already big enough as you can see and it has a gel on it now
but this stuff it's good and y'all already know the smell is wonderful.
The next one I have is something new that I actually tried and this is the Maui moisture
thicken and restore bamboo fibers strengthening milk.
I don't know why all these products have such long names.
Oh my gosh ok I saw this in um in Ulta, I saw this in Wal-mart, and I think Target and
I was kind of interested in it and I really didn't hear too much about these products
so I went to Ross and it just happened to be there and it was the only one so I picked
it up to try it this stuff I'm surprised I haven't heard a lot about it because it is
such a thick and moisturizing styler I was really surprised.
And I don't put product on my hair dry but I wanted to kind of put a little something
on my hair when I was out of town and I took this because it is little and easier to travel
with and OMG like the ripples just started showing up on my edges before I even applied
water it was so moisturizing um and it is silicone free this one is for weak and brittle
hair it's just so thick and it runs through your hair so smooth so if y'all are curious
about this maui moisture brand try it tell me what you think they have a lot of collections
too um with this brand so there is a lot you can try you don't have to just do the weak
and brittle hair try what ever you want um the last creamy styler I have um is the Garnier
Fructis curl nourish butter cream leave-in treatment and I kind of didn't know what to
do with this I saw the glamtwinz talk about this product and I think it was actually Kelsey
who talked about this product um and it says butter cream and I was a little curious what
to do with it so I followed what she did in her drugstore um routine video and this stuff
you can put this on top as the styler if you don't want a gel styler it is so good but
you can also do it as a leave-in treatment like leave it in put in like a thick moisture
product like a gel another styler whatever you want to put in y'all it can be used a
bunch of ways and it's another drug store product so if you want some cheaper products
y'all try this.
This one is an og product it's something that I've been using since I first went natural
and actually Mahagony curls put me on to this because and a bunch of other curly girls from
way back when it was just like this whole hype over the eco styler gel and I got a big
one and a little one because I like to have one to travel with clearly I have a theme
I travel a lot and I need stuff that can fit in my bags um and there's a lot of love hate
out here on youtube about this product some say that um it has alcohol and it dries your
hair out it's actually alcohol free I've never had a problem with it drying my hair out I
do have a problem with it not mixing well with um other products so here lately I've
kind of just been using it on my edges to smooth them down I actually used to use this
as a gel and rake it through it doesn't mix well with a lot of products sometimes so you
have to be careful but if you're on a budget and you want to try a gel this one is the
one to try and they have different ones they have like argan oil this one just eco try
what you want but this stuff has been with me since the itty bitty after them big chop
days y'all this stuff is really really good.
The next one is the kinky curly original curling custard natural styling gel this is I feel
like I don't even have to talk about this product because most people that are natural
have probably heard about kinky curly it has been around for a very very very very very
very very long time um and this stuff is just amazing it is what is on my hair now I paired
it with the leave-in detangler it's just these two things on my hair plus I put an oil that
I'll show you later and y'all this stuff it has such great hold and the best thing about
this one is your hair will last days like you can spray it with water after like it
starts getting kind of uh and it reactivates the product so it's very expensive but if
I can reactivate it and a couple more days out of it I will spend the money because it
is just that good.
This is something I was using way back when too even when I was lost and wandering and
didn't know what to do I knew I liked this and I actually saw a girl in my dance class
and her hair was just perfect and I asked her and it was this this stuff just go get
it and the last one is a product that I actually just recently started trying out I haven't
used that much of it I probably used it like three times it is the Camille Rose naturals
curl maker and I wanted to try this one out because I saw it in the store and I was a
little curious and it looks a little like the kinky curly it's bout up there in the
price like the kinky curly but it's not as um it doesn't have as much hold as the kinky
curly does this one gives you more of like a move like a I can't even describe it you
won't have that hard crunchy hold um and it says it hydrates softens and strengthens I
don't know about hydrates I I'ma have to use this more but this stuff if you don't want
as heavy as a hold as the kinky curly this is a better one to try because it gives you
kind of that pillow soft look almost it's not as hard and defined as the kinky curly
and my hair is not hard with the kinky curly it's just it doesn't have the same kind of
hold you just have to try it and you'll know this is not a cheap product um and I've seen
in CVS and I saw it in Sally's and I was a little curious but because it is so expensive
I only tried this one first so I'll probably go back and get their I can't think of what
it's called right now um it's another product that goes on before this I want to go back
and try it I haven't yet so I might eventually and just pair them together and see how they
work I pair it with what I have now and it works just fine I just kind of want to do
products that go together.
And one product I forgot to talk about um for deep conditioners is the As I Am hydration
elation um As I Am hydration elation intensive conditioner that conditioner y'all I don't
have it because I rant out of it but it is so good so if you kind of want if you're like
me and you like to keep products together that are from the same line go try that.
So last but not least I know this is a long video y'all I'm so sorry but I wanted you
to know all of the products that I had and I just realized that the door is open and
it wasn't open before last but not least I have oils and like refreshers one oil that
I have always used and probably will never stop using is the coconut oil.
Coconut oil is my life and I use it actually all over my body but I especially like it
for my hair and people say that it's too heavy and that they don't really like it I love
coconut oil it has never done me wrong I don't feel like its heaving on my hair um and I
get make sure you get organic coconut oil and this is just the HEB brand coconut oil
uh it is so good I've also used in the past olive oil, jojoba oil any oil get you an oil
you like so this is the Shea Moisture Manuka Honey and Mafura Oil Intensive Hydration Complexion
I told y'all these long names um this is actually what I pair with the deep conditioner it is
from the same collection this stuff is so good and I actually use it when I deep condition
or I use it in my LOC method it's really hard to find I know you can find it at Ulta if
not you have to order I hate ordering but try to find it at your local Ulta first I
think sometimes maybe Sally's might have it I'm not sure but this stuff y'all.
Next I have the Delacruse sweet almond oil and actually I just saw this in Wal-mart and
wanted to try a new oil and I've heard a few good things about sweet almond oil um I just
wanted to try it.
And so far so good it's a really thick oil I will warn you this stuff is really thick.
Um but my hair it gets really dry so I need something that is very moisturizing and actually
I think they said you can use it on your face and your body.
I just use it on my hair.
So the next oil is something I kind of forgot I had.
I told y'all I used to use curls long time ago and I think this was actually given to
me probably and I forgot I had it.
So this is the blissful lengths kukui I hope I am saying that right kukui nut oil elixir
growth stimulating hap growth stimulating hair and scalp elixir this stuff is really
thick I don't particularly like the smell this is what I used with my kinky curly products
last night and it is y'all its so thick and moisturizing I don't like the smell but I
love the product and I forgot I had this.
And it's like almost gone now and I don't really want to order it and I don't ever see
this in the stores I think I actually got this when I worked at the natural hair show
in Houston with curls and I think they gave this to me but this stuff I can't tell you
if it makes your hair grow or not if it actually stimulates the growth but I like the way it
feels in my scalp and you can put it all over your hair as well so this is what I have right
now and it's almost gone so it will be something that I had.
The next oil I have is also something I forgot I had um it is the Eden body works all natural
hair oil and this is peppermint tea tree oil and I actually just kind of spray this in
my scalp I like the way it tingles in my scalp and it really does have a peppermint smell
um I forgot I had it for a long time because I actually tried a bunch of products from
eden and this was one I didn't use as quickly as I used the other products it's a good oil
I don;t actually want to smell like peppermint all day so it's something I use at night but
it is a good oil and it's on the cheaper end if you want to try something to this affect.
The next oil I have is there's it's the same brand I believe it's the organics brand or
OGX as it says on the bottle.
Um and there's two different ones and I actually saw them in Wal-mart a bunch of different
places actually they're at Ulta, Wal-mart, Target um and I didn't want to try it because
I was like mm I don't know and then I saw some youtube videos on them so I was like
I'ma go ahead and try them.
And I like these better because i don't have to put it on my hands these are um ok so this
one this one is the renewing plus argan oil of morocco weightless healing dry oil these
names are gonna kill me every time like oh my gosh but this I just like to spray it in
my hair let me put a little these are not heavy oils and I like them to kind of wake
my hair up in the morning or um at night before I pineapple I and I'm done and this is a new
bottle I wanted to try the argan oil one but the first one I had was the hydrate and defrizz
kukui oil anti-frizz hydrating oil and it's all gone I have like a little bit left so
I'ma have to open the bottle and pour it in my hands but I like that you don't have to
pour it in your hands and they're small so they can travel well um this one was really
good but we're getting closer to fall and I don't think I need a anti-frizz so I wanted
to try this one but y'all these sprays bomb.
And the last thing I want to show you is um a product that I actually used up and then
I just made my own concoction afterwards but it is the Coconut and Hibiscus Hold and Shine
Moisture mist um it was ok I liked it but it went really fast and so I decided to keep
the bottle and just make my own mixture and it's just water, the sweet almond oil, and
the aussie moist conditioner.
I just shook it up and put it in here because I like the idea of a spray bottle and like
I said I used to do a lot of DIY and I kind of went back to it because I made me a little
mixture.
There is one refresher I do want to try by Carol's Daughter um there's two different
kinds I want to try and it's just like a leave-in spray but I would use it as a refresher.
I do want to try that.
That is all of the curly girl curly hair products that I have that is all of the uh products
that I have right now there are so many products out there that I actually want to try.
i want to try the miellle organics line just because of the pretty packaging it's pink
and I'm just drawn to it I want to try it.
I want to try some products by Curls as well that they are coming out with.
So if you think of any products, know any products, curious about some products and
you want me to try them or want to know if I have already tried them because I can tell
you this I have tried a lot of products um let me know and i will see if I can find them
bye guys!!
