For this video I read reviews on the over 70 hotels and apartment complexes in Puerto
del Carmen and picked 12 of the best once.
After visiting these hotels in real life, 5 did not live up to what was promised online,
and 7 were indeed offering great quality holidays.
So don't always believe everything you read online.

La Isla y el Mar Boutique hotel is an upscale classy boutique hotel close to all the restaurants
and shopping in Puerto del Carmen.
The whole hotel is very modern.
There is a central pool surrounded by modern, somewhat futuristic looking, bungalow suites
and large cushioned sun loungers.
From the restaurants and pool area you have great view over the surrounding area and the
harbour area of Puerto del Carmen.
The Seaside Los Jameos Playa is a 4 star hotel in a peaceful area of Puerto del Carmen and
close to Matagorda.
The hotel has a gran welcoming reception in a kinda wooden style with chill out areas
and a very fresh open vibe.
Past the reception there is a little tropical paradise with birds chirping and what I only
can describe as a summer holiday vibe smell.
Furthermore this hotel has a games hall for the kids next to the wellness for the adults.
The Seaside Los Jameos Playa has also a great selection of sports fields a bit away from
the main pool, so just a relaxing vibe around the pool.
In the back of the hotel you will also find the minigolf area and access to the beach.
The Lani's Suites Deluxe is a very surprising luxurious boutique hotel in the heart of Puerto
del Carmen.
The whole hotel only has about 20 suites so you can expect very personal service.
Also because of this, all the suites are almost right next to the central pool so very easy
access.
As an added bonus the ground floor suites have a private jacuzzi as well.
Right next to the little cosy beach in front of the hotel there is also the a la carte
restaurant with stunning ocean views.
The Costa Sal Villas and Suites is a basic but clean and well maintained complex in the
Matagorda area of Playa Blanca.
It is made up out of bungalow style villas and suites and 2 nice pools spread out over
the complex.
In the middle of the Costa Sal Villas and Suites you will also find the miniclub, little
playground and sports fields.
This could be a great choice for those travelling on a budget.
If you are looking for a club hotel in Puerto del Carmen that is also close to the beach,
the Clubhotel Riu Paraiso Lanzarote might be a great choice for you.
This is a very big hotel with great entertainment and fully all inclusive.
There are 2 large pools, 1 pool close to all the entertainment and another that is more
for relaxation.
In the evening you can choose out of the standard buffet or Asian restaurant all included in
your all inclusive package.
The Clubhotel Riu Paraiso Lanzarote recently incorporate the hotel next door as well so
is going through a lot of changes, updates and improvements.
If you are looking for a hotel right next to the beach in Puerto del Carmen, the Suite
Hotel Fariones Playa might be a great hotel fo you.
This hotel is in a great location not only close to the beach, but also shops, restaurants
and bars.
For many years the Suite hotel Fariones Playa has been offering great holidays and to keep
up with this, it has also now started updating parts of the hotel, as they were doing during
my last visit, and already updated many of the suites.
The hotel also has a nice pool surrounded by cushioned sun loungers and a cosy pool
bar next to the beach.

Las Costas is a 4 star smallish hotel right next to the Playa Pocillos beach in Puerto
del Carmen.
This is really an ideal hotel for a beach holiday in Lanzarote.
The pool, restaurant and bar are right next to the beach and surrounded by a glass wall
incase it is windy.
From here you are just a few steps away from the beach.
