Hi guys! Welcome back to our channel I'm Brianna and I'm Sarah and we're going to
be showing you guys today easy ways to make your own wreaths. We have
some just basic...
Plain wreaths
Plain wreaths-that's what I was thinking. Just plain wreaths and then we're
going to go buy all this stuff for...to add on to it. We're gonna go to probably At Home
and maybe like Walmart or Michael's if we can't find enough stuff. At Home usually
has tons of things that you'll be able to add on to it so I'm hoping we'll just have
to go there. So we'll see you guys after we have everything
So when you buy your wreath, it's gonna look like this. So it's a little bit flat and
what you want to do is you want to make sure that you fluff out all the edges I
like to do them out first and then do some of the ones that are on the inside
part up straight up...so that it'll fluff. It's kind of hard to tell but you'll be able to tell
better once it's already all fluffed. It's a huge difference. And once you fluff it, it'll also be
better for putting things on the actual wreath because if it's all flat, everything kind
of just sits on top of it. Whereas when you fluff it, the things kind of blend in with the wreath better
so this is kind of what it'll look like. It'll be more fluffed up on different
parts. I'm going to mess with it a little bit more but you get the idea of like just make sure
you push them all up and you'll be able to see the difference because you can
kind of see where they would sit versus before they would just it would have just
sat on top of it that would just fly so this more a little bit back okay
so this is gonna be info that goes on to read and that's why you'll need are a
needle and thread hard to see but it's there and then you're going to need
obviously some ribbon we bought this for vengeance because essentially we didn't
really have direct purpose for it you can use any size really it works
just saying it depends on what size you read this as well and then lastly we're
going to me if it's a cardboard or this is like really thin cardboard it's
actually from a another decoration that we got for the reefs I just cut it down
to size between it work for this okay so would you first going to do is you're
gonna take your piece of cardboard and you're gonna like a little slit halfway
down Center and it'll make sense in a little bit and
then you're going to take your ribbon and you're going to start it at the
halfway point where we made our little slit and you're going to wrap it around
depending on how big you want the bow to be it's going to vary as thrombi - wrap
it around the piece of cardboard but essentially each time you wrap it around
that's one loop on the books so so like Branston if I cut it right here just
beat one little loop off for this reason in particular I'm going to do a bigger
bow to go I'm going to wrap it around
and this ribbon has wire in it if yours does not it'll still work it's just the
wire definitely does make it easier when you're actually structuring the boat but
it'll work I don't leave ok so we have here we have one two three four loops
I'm gonna do six and then the scissors work for small boats either we've
actually used it to make big bows for the Christmas tree it's the same concept
we have six pieces here and then you're not gonna like that it always in here
where it ends you're gonna want to cut it again in the
middle work in right where the little slit is stuck for you're gonna make your
cut
now what we're going to do is we're just going to use this now we clip frame and
we're going to use that to sew our bow and for that's pretty beautiful that I'm
making there's gonna be something that goes in the center so there's a matter
of actually how precise this part is but obviously if you're not going to put
anything in a centrifuge because you're going to want to be a little bit more
careful about how does have heard me or both looks okay now once you pull it
through and then you ever think all together and get disrupted right round
so now everything's holding together because of the threat of it took their
dead natural part of it and then you're just going to wrap it around the entire
stack the Romans it's imperative sex works if you do that
you can make a notorious under whatever wave easier so the truce helps hold
everything in place while you're trying to structure your app itself
all right okay it against the middle portion of my bow doesn't really matter
this can be covered up but if you aren't going to cover yours up then you're
gonna want you you know pretty thread or those decorative twist ties or anything
that will kind of tie as this middle okay so now we're just going to start
pickle bow so this part that we cut off on the end we're just going to bring it
around and then we are we started by putting the end of the ribbon right here
in the middle section that part is now in the middle it's this boat and so
we're just going to take it out this looks gonna be the other end don't worry
it's gonna be much we eat instructions best of it okay now we're gonna start
banding out these little losers here
and again if it has it's the ribbon house wire it's gonna make this part
much easier because the wire was bent whereas if it doesn't have a wire it
will work but it's just going to be harder to get to stay in the right
positions okay and then you're just going to want to flex the bow a little
bit so I'm pulling the bottom part in the bow and I'm just winging it out that
way it kind of pushes so this is all we'll be doing right now and then I'll
show you the next steps after me residents all right so here we have our
fluffed breathe just so now we're gonna just add all our little decorations to
them and make them look festive I have some little berries here which all we
did was we bought these at home at home we bought them at home and if you don't
have one where you live it's a place like home goods or Michaels or any of
those like kind of crafty slash home decor please
so this one that has like a little clip on the bottom of it so if you wanted to
feel like to your tree or whatever but we took it and we just cut off some of
the little berries so we could use them like throughout our wreath just to add a
little extra and then we also have little baby pinecones which will do the
same thing we'll Adam just kind of around to kind of fill an empty spot so
they almost feel the end we did the same thing with bees as well and we just cut
off and then we got some bigger pinecones so
we use these to decorate throughout also and then we have some the baby's little
they're supposed to a little ornaments they come with these little strings but
we'll cut those off and then we're making these for my living room and my
theme it for Christmas is quit dentists so my little main kind of focal point at
the top will be a little poinsettia and it's just a little clip also there are
two little poinsettias and they have these little clips on the back all I do
is clip on two and then with the EO that we made earlier I just put a little
poinsettia clip I clip it on to you I could come to the red that we used to
sell the boat together but you can add another piece of ribbon to the middle or
you again if you use the decorative twist ties and clip it onto there
anything that will make it stick it it's one of those also done have some and you
can either clip it on or if you watching freeze
and so this one it does have a little clip Rabbinate use the hot glue also to
help me
all of these have these little slips at the end
so if you don't want their enemies only they're really good to them he helped me
kind of
stays learning kind of around where the country where you want
to stage
and it's so people like literally just put the pinecone to our reboxetine like
a fire fighter kind of bigger Franklin Sedona put these kind of smaller push to
the bottom this would have gold on it which I thought was really cute stuffing
that with the bottom in between my two
and the best thing about these is that you can just kind of thin at them until
they look right so if you bought if we bought a bunch of different things and
we're just kind of eyeballing what we thought would look good and that's way
it's good if you lay it all out first and then you glue because then you can
kind of change things around if it's looking like it's too much or one area
to switch it around or like I don't wanted more at the bottom to move to
these little things up and they have at home they have a really good selection
of colors so we're doing already gold and then we bought the pinecones in the
little berries but they have everything white silver turquoise of the trees so
she's gonna take hers apart well I'm gonna try to go because she had ribbon
shows on it which is really cute but we're gonna kind of feel like there
should be I think the berries and the smaller
plate company and the pythons we find this little package it's a little bag
and it was five dollars for ya and then we have those that are a little bit
bigger and we also so those little ones are cute and they
can fill in little gaps and the big ones can take up an authority basis though
look it's around the competition it's not a competition we can tell but it is
spit just wrap it around them adjust it now if you do the way you should do it
where you wrap it around first and then all your decorations it will be much
easier at LSI but these threes by themselves for like $10 each so they're
not bad but then they're not as like this fluffier it's big and full as the
woodsy my mind that are cost more so what we're doing with these is kind of
helping make it look bigger make it look more fluffy and make it look more cool
and on this wreath I'm just using ribbon it's the same size it's what I used for
the photo it's one a half inches but for reuse typically people use mesh or
thicker ribbon at least this is what we're doing again we don't really buy
the service to do this
here Ministry of applicant selects loser hey guys can just buying the most basic
looking green at the store and there they range from like seven dollars to
like thirty dollars because it really giant ones
none of this stuff is weatherproof so you want to make sure if you are gonna
be doing one for outdoors that you buy stuff that's not going to get faces and
say one thing and why that's annoying rest up yeah so it's probably the pine
cones are fine besides that I wouldn't use any of this other stuff these are
super easy to make though and you can also add some outdoor lights
wrap them within I mean there's so many different options that you do like we
were saying earlier if you have a theme for your specific area then it's even
easier to see you can kind of you know put a storm pick out whatever colors and
whatever you might need and then what's also cool with the hot
blue is that it's literally just you're just putting a little tiny dots on each
part of them to stick them in there so if you want to change colors like if I
want to next to next year I'm gonna do more red and green or red and silver or
something I can just take these off easily because
they kind of just pop off and then I can put like a different different items in
there so you're saving money too because you can reuse this again the way it is
or you can take some stuff off and change it up or if you just don't want
to use this exact same length you know the way you have been set up
we're eager to get so we hope you guys were able to follow it in like at least
our reefs and let us know like we said which one you are
thanks for watching
