On a dark desert highway, cool wind in my hair

Warm smell of colitas rising up through the air

Up ahead in the distance, I saw a shimmering light

My head grew heavy and my sight grew dim

I had to stop for the night

There she stood in the doorway; I heard the mission bell

And I was thinking to myself

This could be heaven or this could be hell

Then she lit up a candle, and she showed me the way

There were voices down the corridor,

I thought I heard them say...

Welcome to the Hotel California.

Such a lovely place,

Such a lovely place,

There's plenty of room at the Hotel California

Any time of year

You can find it here

Her mind is Tiffany-twisted, She got the Mercedes bends

She got a lot of pretty pretty boys she calls friends

How they danced in the courtyard, sweet summer sweat

Some dance to remember, some dance to forget

So I called up the captain; Please bring me my wine (he said)

We haven't had that spirit here since 1969

and still those voices are calling from far away

Wake you up in the middle of the night

Just to hear them say...

Welcome to the Hotel California.

Such a lovely place,

Such a lovely place,

They're livin' it up at the Hotel California

What a nice surprise,

Bring your alibis

Mirrors on the ceiling; the pink champagne on ice (and she said)

We are all just prisoners here, of our own device

and in the master's chambers, they gathered for the feast

They stab it with their steely knives but they

just can't kill the beast

Last thing I remember, I was running for the door

I had to find the passage back to the place I was before

"Relax" said the night man; we are programmed to receive

You can check out any time you like

But you can never leave...

Sir Pentious: Those other cowardly sinners dare not hinder my territorial takeover!

A wise decision!

The power of my machines are unmatched!

No other demon can compare to the likes of I!

Eggboi #23: Gee, that was pretty swell, boss.

Eggboi #666: Yeah!

Eggboi #?: You really showed them what for.

I liked when you shot them with your ray gun.

*whack*

Eggboi #23: I wish he'd shoot ME with his ray gun

Sir Pentious: At this rate,

I will seize control of the entire west side of the pentagram by day's end!

And nothing,

Not a single beast in this inferno of suffering will be able the take back this empire from my constrictive grasp.

Eggboi #?: Whoo!

*pop*

Eggboi #?: Oh, boy!

Sir Pentious: Hell will be mine, and everybody will know the name of Sir P-

Cherri: EDGELORD!!

Sir Pentious: Pardon!? Who said that!? What did you just say to me you fried chicken fetuses!?

Sssspeak up!

Eggboi #?: That wasn't us mister boss man.

*glass breaking*

Eggboi #13: Oh!

*Boom*

*Coughing*

Cherri: You lookin' for a fight?

Old man?

Why don't you get that tinker toy bullshit off my turf before I smash it?!

*Smash*

Mince pies from World War Two are found under hotel floorboards - Duration: 2:04.

Mince pies from World War Two are found under hotel floorboards

A tin of mince pies baked during World War Two were discovered in perfect condition under the floorboards of a hotel.

The seasonal treats were found with a handwritten note saying Love from Mum during a renovation of the Loch Hotel in Douglas, the Isle of Man, in 1988.

It is thought the pies, which were a gift from a mother to her sailor son, were so immaculately preserved for almost 80 years after being sealed in an air tight container.

The festive pies were left forgotten in storage but have now been put on display for for the first time at the Manx Museum, according to the BBC.

The red and white tin was addressed to Able Seaman Phil Davis and accompanied by a letter signed best, love from mum.

Matthew Richardson, curator of social history for Manx National Heritage, said that Christmas was the right time for them to shine, the BBC reported.

And the pies, which was found by a builder, may have been hidden under the hotels floorboards to stop other soldiers from swiping them, according to the BBC.

Mr Richardson told the BBC: If youre in a shared room with five or six other men you dont know, the only way you could be sure of protecting what was yours was to find a place to hide it

Mr Richardson says the tin highlight a human story of a soldier living away from his family preparing for war.

He told the BBC: We cant say for sure why Able Seaman Davis never ate his mince pies. Perhaps he was posted away at short notice and didnt have time to retrieve them.

SEO & Digital Marketing For Hotels - Duration: 1:43.

Hi Guys Adam from Cache Digital here just wanted to make a quick video about

hotels and their the user experience that they are giving their users and it

seems quite common on a lot of hotel sites that I look at that when you click

the book now button you actually leave the website and you go to another web

address which is usually going to be not the same sites as the hotel site it's

going to be a booking engine URL the problem with this is visually the page

is going to change as well I mean it may not be massive massive visual changes

but visually the page generally does change and sometimes I can put users off

users don't really know what's happened so I think the the actual best scenario

the best situation is to actually have the booking engine embedded into the

page of your sites rather that shit redirecting that traffic away to another

page if that can't be done and you do need to redirect the traffic away to a

booking engine hey you want to make sure as soon as that transaction is complete

that the traffic gets redirected back to your domain and if it doesn't you want

to make sure that you have some quite good tracking in place with the booking

engine company so that they can tell you once the user left your domain and went

to the booking engine they can give you some insight into what happened without

traffic obviously you're hoping that they they made bookings and made

payments but there'll be a presented your people that didn't fulfill that

booking as well and didn't complete the form so it's it's important to be able

to track these things and know what's happened in the user in the user journey

I hope that helps thank you for your time thanks for watching bye for now

Family's £1k Christmas dinner at plush hotel descends into 'Fawlty Towers chaos' - Duration: 8:13.

A family who paid £1,000 for a luxury Christmas dinner say they were left in tears after waiting five hours for food - saying it was like a scene from Fawlty Towers.

Lora Gosling, 41, went with 13 family and friends to the plush Woodbury Park Hotel for what they hoped would be a decadent festive meal.

But they were left waiting for hours for their dinner and staff at the hotel near Exeter, Devon, offered no explanation, she claims.

Many people took to social media to complain about the service, with some calling it a "Fawlty Towers" experience, Devon Live reports.

The hotel says one of the ovens stopped working just as guests started to arrive.

Simon Griffin wrote on the hotel's Facebook page: "Our Christmas dinner 2018 experience was at best "Fawlty Towers!" which is not what you expect when you pay £300.

Sharon Simpson added: "Shambolic Christmas dinner, what a disappointment."

In the end, Lora and her family left without eating their pre-paid dessert and said the terrible experience ruined their Christmas.

She said: "We arrived at ten past 12 for a 12.30pm lunch. We were the first ones there.

"At least we got our main course in the end but we waited an hour for our starter and another three hours for our main course and by then we had to leave at 5pm without our dessert.

"Other people were just getting their mains when we left. I felt for the waiting staff who were copping it.

"They just kept telling people it would be another 10 minutes.

"People were not angry - just deflated. It was Christmas Day and they were hungry.

"There were about 30 people with young children who all left at about four without getting their main course.

"They need to offer a refund to everyone who was there. We were told we had to send an email to ask for a refund. They just said not to pay our bar bill.

Girl, 7, in Christmas call to Donald Trump says she still believes in Santa

"We asked to see the manager and he was as good as gold and held his hands up and admitted they had done really badly and it wasn't good enough.

"There were more than 130 people and everybody was just totally deflated."

Her partner Darrell Willis said: "It was awful. There were so many upset people. It was a shambles."

Christmas dinner at the 56-bedroom hotel were sold at £75 per person, and in some cases were paid for in advance.

John Bishop, from Pinhoe, Devon, said he went with three others and paid full price as a gift to his mother in law, but they all left after the first course.

He said: "She was really looking forward to it and it was awful. There were a few tears on the way home.

"We spent £75 each and walked out after two and a half hours with only having our first course.

"Loads of unhappy customers waited longer than us.

"It was disgusting - mind you the soup was nice! But a bit pricey.

"My wife's salmon starter was lovely - but by then she would have ate the plate as well. What a waste of a day.

"We are having a second Christmas day on Boxing Day to make up for it and trying to see the funny side of it.

"But for a professional organisation like that who cater for all the rugby teams, it was a shambles.

"The restaurant manager who was there was new and he was so polite but the lack of information was part of the problem.

"People were offering to put on a pinny and go and help."

Calum Colquhoun, general manager at the hotel, said he would be speaking to individual diners personally to apologise.

He explained that one of the main ovens had stopped working just as people began to arrive for lunch and said it was "incredibly" disappointing.

He said: "I have been doing this job for a long time and I have to say in terms of things going wrong it could not have been worse timing.

"I am incredibly disappointed that we have gone through the whole festive season serving literally thousands of covers and we got to the most important service of the whole month and this happened.

"Some people began to arrive early and there was no going back.

"The oven was out of action for an hour but it was in that critical time when it was incredibly bad timing for the kitchen and everything began to snowball.

"There was nothing else we could have done.

"A few people I have spoken to had a great meal but for many we simply did not get their food out quickly enough.

"It was difficult for the front of house staff. We have asked those people who were affected to contact us."
