Welcome back fluency people for the Chapter 3 review! We did it, it was a

long chapter, so let's review some of the vocabulary and especially the story. If

you are just joining us for To Kill a Mockingbird, start here. That way you get

really help your English and help you understand a lot more. All right. Let's

start the review. It's after the encounter with Scout and Walter

Cunningham, and she is rubbing his face in the dirt, *blah* and Jem sees this and

he breaks it up. He invites Walter to have lunch with them. Walter is not

accustomed to eating like the Finches, and he is pouring molasses, like this

syrup, all over his food! And it bothers Scout, she says something which kind of

gets her in trouble. This leads to Calpurnia slapping her on the butt,

giving her a little spanking. Telling her, hey! Behave! be a better hostess. after lunch,

or, like dinner, as it's called in some parts of the US. After lunch,

they find a little bug, or a cootie, in one of the boys' hair.

This is Burris Ewell. Seems like a big troublemaker. And what the Ewell's do is

attend just the first day of classes every year. And for the truant lady, the

the person who is in charge of tallying or marking how many truancies, how many

absences students have, this is enough. She lets this pass by.

Finally Burris leaves, he makes Miss Caroline cry. Not a nice guy. Uses some

very strong language. Finally Scout returns home after this

first day of school– this was all just one day of classes. It was a very long

day for miss Scout Finch. Everybody's being very nice to her. They recognize

that it was a very difficult day. And she said she's not feeling well and finally

Atticus invites her to to do some reading, and of course Scout is a bit

nervous. Atticus realizes this and makes a compromise. Remember kind of an

agreement: each party is not extremely happy but they find a middle ground, an

arrangement or agreement. Scout agrees that she will continue to go to school

if they can continue to read together. Atticus also mentions that everybody had

really learned a lot that first day of school, and that she needs to crawl into

someone else's skin. Again, sounds a little disgusting, that expression. It's

more common to stand or walk in someone else's shoes or moccasins. The family

reads together and then on Saturday, Jem spends the entire day aloft in his tree

house. And Scout is kind of supplying him food and comfort and warm blankets. Until

finally Atticus tells her to stop it and let Jem come back in. So we will see what

happens next because so far this book has been very quiet. Not a lot of real–

except for one of the young students almost stabbing– stabbing another student...

making $50 a day which means that I can buy an

you adpack every single day that's 50 cents a day that I'll be making alright

50 cents right that's not a lot but it adds up though you know what I'm saying

50 cents a day 30 days you know what I'm saying and you keep adding on top of it

because I'm gonna keep buying a new ad pack every day right

I mean what's gonna happen when I have 200 ad packs or 400 ad packs you know

when you're making two hundred dollars a day passively that's pretty incredible

I think this business is amazing you know future ad pro they've been around

for four years now how many other reps shares do you know that have been around

for four years let alone maybe three months do you know why these other

programs don't work like future ad Pro they don't work because future ad Pro is

website builders I mean this is not all they have so what's awesome about being

able to participate in this program is that you earn well globally 1% of the

global revenue is distributed among everybody okay so you do have your ups

and down days you know maybe one day you'll get $30 the next day you'll get

$40 you know it there is a fluctuation but what's awesome is that for every 50

dollars you put in you get back $60 that's 120 percent return okay so what I

recommend is going in with a pretty solid startup you know I've had some

people they've come in you know with 50 bucks

literally and they're making 50 cents a day I mean yeah you're gonna eventually

get your $60 but you know when I first came in I came in with 1,800 that's what

I had at the time I was doing a bunch of other stuff I wish I had came in with

like five grand but you know like anything you're not sure about it you're

you know you don't want to just jump into something without testing the

waters because I've been scammed before and I've been burned before okay so with

future AD Pro you know that you have a pretty solid app platform is amazing

I've done three separate payouts I tested it you know because you want to

make sure that it works right so I've been paid out three separate occasions

team right now that's what I'm trying to do right now but realistically you can

make so much money just completely passively from this company that you

don't need to recruit you don't need to know how to do marketing you don't need

to be good at sales you know that was one of the things that I had struggled

with was it was really aggravating how you know these network marketers would

be like oh it's so easy to make like a hundred and frickin whatever dollars and

it's like yeah easy for you you've been doing it since 1998 you have a frickin

email list of like fifty thousand people what about for the average Joe link like

me you know what I'm saying so I struggled with a lot of network

marketing and you know I made a few sales but nothing has come close to even

what I've been able to make with future ad pro right now and the crazy thing is

I just bought I mean as you can tell right um I have a

2015-2017 F150 Modern Billet 6 Piece Upper Overlay Grille Review & Install - Duration: 3:39.

If you're the owner of a 2015 or newer F-150 and you're a fan of the factory grille but

you wanna give it a sweet aftermarket twist to make it stand out a bit more, you might

be interested in checking out the Modern Billet 6 Piece Polished Billet Grille Overlay.

These grille overlays offer a classic horizontal bar styling designed to accommodate those

factory H styled bars and they even work around the factory Ford emblem without requiring

any modifications.

One of the keywords I wanna point out is overlay.

This kit offers six individual pieces you see here that fit between the factory horizontal

bars and utilize the vertical H bars behind them in order to mount.

Meaning they won't completely replace.

They'll just cover our overlay.

Each piece is 4 millimeters thick and they were designed using the original OEM CAD data

from Ford to make sure they were a perfect fit.

They are constructed out of a durable, yet light-weight billet aluminum completed in

a polished finish, just to stand out a little bit more to add that bright stand out styling.

There are a few other options on the market as far as grilles and overlays go, ranging

anywhere from 130 bucks to 250.

This particular kit from Modern Billet is gonna fall at the top end of the spectrum

at around 250 bucks, most likely due to the fact it's got a nice construction and because

of the polished finish.

The installation is a very straightforward process.

I'm giving this one out of three wrenches on our difficulty meter.

Now everything you need to get the job done, all the hardware required for the job is included

in the kit, making it a simple bolt-on upgrade that requires very few simple hand tools like

a ratchet and a socket set.

You wanna have a 10 millimeter and an 8 millimeter socket on deck as well as a flathead screwdriver.

You wanna start by removing the radiator cover that's held on by a couple of plastic push

pins.

It might be easier to use a flathead screwdriver just to pry these off.

From here, you'll need to use a ratchet and 10 millimeter socket to remove a few bolts

in order to completely remove the top radiator cover.

Before we go any further, you'll definitely wanna make sure you unplug the two hood latch

harness clips before you remove the grille assembly from the body.

They're gonna be those two plugs running right next to your hood latch connecting to the

inside of the grille.

That way you don't rip the wiring out from the housing when you remove your factory stock.

Now the reason you have to remove the entire factory grille is so you can attach these

to the back.

Now this next step may not be for everybody.

If your F-150 has fender flares installed, you may need to remove a bolt or two in order

to get the fender flares to the headlight panel off.

If you do not have fender flares, then you should be able to just pop the plastic body

panels off right around the headlights.

Inside these panels, you also see maybe four bolts or so.

The one closest to the grille will need to be removed using an 8 millimeter socket.

From here, you should be able to lift the grille assembly away from the vehicle and

place it aside.

There're four pins holding the backing for the factory grille and plates.

You can pull these out using a pair of pliers or you can lift up the factory grille back

in to gain access to the grilles.

You can start by putting the grille assembly on its back with the face and grille emblem

facing up.

You can place the top grille overlay from this kit of the top row of the grille using

the supplied bolt and place it through the pre-drilled holes and use the supplied bracket

and not on the inside to tighten it down.

Repeat this for each of the six pieces and you'll be good to go once you have everything

back together in the reverse order.

When you're getting the assembly back on the vehicle, you wanna remember to plug the hood

latch harness in or you'll be left with a hood latch light on your dashboard.

For the fender flare, guys, remember to tighten on the bolts on the fender flares right after

getting the headlight panels back into place.

When everything is set and done, you'll be looking at spending about an hour or so in

the driveway at home getting this installed.

I'd definitely give it one out of three wrenches on our difficulty meter because it's something

anybody can do with just a little bit of time at home.

Inmates Review - PC Steam Version - Duration: 4:42.

Greetings this is Vlodril and welcome to the review for Inmates.

Inmates is a psychological horror game made by Davit Andreasyan (a sole developer) and

published by Iceberg Interactive which provided me with a key for this review.

You play as Jonathan Bradley who wakes up in a nightmarish environment, trapped in a

semi familiar prison and with a splitting headache.

You goal?

Find out where you are and what is going on.

But first things first.

The game offers a pretty poor option screen.

The only graphic options you have is low mid and high.

You can also enable or disable motion blur and vsync.

That's all.

You can pick up your mouse sensitivity, brightness and language and that's the whole option menu.

Worse there are no actual sound levels for you to pick so if you want to modulate the

sound at all you must do it out of game which frankly is ridiculous.

Another bad thing about the option screen?

You can't actually get to it once you get into the game.

Only from the main menu (i guess since there aren't any settings to pick the developer

didn't feel the need to provide players with such an option).

Gameplay wise the controls are very simple.

You can play with mouse and keyboard or a controller and there are basically only 3

buttons to use apart from movement.

Left click is interact with an object.

Right click is move out of puzzles and f is light a match.

Matches are the main form of lighting dark areas but the game has plenty of light so

they are seldom used.

Thankfully for when you do need to use them, the game provides you with an abundance of

them so you don't need to fear that you will run out of them.

Inmates offers no manual saving system but the checkpoint system is not bad and the linearity

of the game makes it so it's not really an issue.

Walking around is slow and the game disables the sprint option after the very first area

so you will walk everywhere.

Slowly.

The path is mostly linear as you explore this prison environment and the game relies on

puzzles to impede your progress instead of the normal monster such games usually employ.

Another thing to note here is that the game will often lock you in place while the character

is having a monologue or even prevent you from leaving an open area unless you solve

a specific puzzle (the game actually turns you around in one instance instead of letting

you backtrack out of an open door).

Moving around as i said is done at a slow walking pace and the game slows down even

further at some sections (to try to amplify the horror effect and to artificially pad

the length of the game i guess).

The puzzles themselves i did not mind.

They start fairly simple and remain simplistic as the game progresses so there is nothing

egregious about them.

Lacking a monsters is not a bad thing in and of itself but that means that Inmates leans

heavily to jumpscares for the horror factor, both audio and visual ones, and without any

audio options they become annoying since they are frequently used.

Moving through the prison you will find various notes to examine with often cryptic quotes

and you will go through a journal the character obtains (but only when he feels like it's

time for you to read a new page, you have no control over it).

That is your main way to understand what is happening to you apart from some discussions

through a radio with a stranger and the endgame exposition.

There is no great mystery though since it becomes apparent from early on what the storyline

of the game is about.

The game lacks a sense of suspense and urgency too which is a must have for games of this

genre.

Inmates was made by a sole developer and it shows.

The game is as indie as it comes.

Apart from the lack of options, graphics wise the game has some pretty poor textures everywhere

also.

The voice acting is actually one of the better made parts of the game.

I found the performances convincing and of a higher quality than the rest of the game.

The time it took to complete was also very short (3 hours) but i can excuse that on the

price it is offered (which is 10 euro's or dollars).

In conclusion the game offers a short and predictable horror story with limited gameplay

and basic puzzles.

It does offer that for cheap so it's up to you to decide if it's worth the price of admission

and your time.

THE BEST GREEN SCREEN FOR STREAMING... EVER! - Elgato Green Screen Review & Setup Guide - Duration: 11:01.

You know…

I've legitimately delayed this review due primarily to my attempts at finding a way

to write it without sounding like a complete shill or sellout.

While yes - the Elgato Green Screen was sent free for review on the channel - I work with

Elgato on a wide number of reviews and don't always have nice things to say.

In fact, I had actually ordered the Green Screen myself on Amazon and was thankfully

able to cancel the order upon learning that Elgato was sending one over for free.

I thought it was worth the price as soon as they announced it.

So spoiler alert: Yeah, I have a lot of good things to say about it.

But there's a couple things I'd love to be worked on or made available in the future,

and I am personally not the biggest fan of the current trend of green screen over-usage

in the first place.

Let's jump in, right after this.

Who.. what..

It attaches to any headphone so you can use that good pair you like, but I'll actually

be able to understand your call-outs.

It also has a mute switch so I don't have to hear all those conversations with your

I'm EposVox, here to make tech easier and more fun, and today I'm reviewing a Green

Screen.

But it's not just a piece of green fabric with a brand name, this is a premium piece

of kit designed to make your life easier while still being a simple concept.

I've used 3 different forms of green screen, but they've never really made their way

onto my channel.

Why?

Because the setup was FAR too cumbersome to ever keep up with within my small working

spaces.

In my bedroom back during my college years I hung a wood dowel from the ceiling and ran

a green screen on that.

It technically worked, but was VERY hard to light in such a small space and divided the

room way too much to leave up.

I've tried using a traditional backdrop stand, but again - having the space to leave

it up sucked, and setup time is a nightmare.

Plus with both of these, rolling up or folding up the backdrop cloth introduces all kinds

of wrinkles that make the keying process even more difficult.

Then while interning for a local sports broadcast, one of the main hosts just had one of his

basement walls covered in green paper with some clamp lights.

An effective budget setup, but hard to light evenly and not something most people can commit

to.

And frankly, if you're not going to pull off a nice-looking chroma key, just don't

bother.

It's obvious, looks awful, and far inferior to just setting up a proper, decent-looking

backdrop in the first place.

I had all but just given up on using a green screen… pretty much ever.

I still have a couple old cloth screens, but they need cleaned and ironed before ever being

useful.

But then Elgato showed up and dropped the Cam Link and Green Screen on us.

This actually answers most of my issues with traditional setups.

So the idea behind Elgato's Green Screen seems fairly obvious - it's one I actually

looked for when I was trying my ceiling-hung method circa 2012 - but it's very effective

here.

Remember the pull-down projector screens from grade school?

They hung on brackets off the wall and pulled out of a little box, but always stayed in

place and perfectly flat.

This is the same concept, but flipped upside down.

You have a nice, metal case to enclose and protect the green screen, and it rolls out

from there - remaining wrinkle-free and in perfect condition.

You spread the balancing legs, open the case, and lift up on the handle to your desired

height.

The crossbar keeps it secure in place at any height up to 70.87 inches high.

No extra switches, levers, anything required to lock it into place.

It just sits there.

Then when you're done, lightly push down and it rolls back up and you can store it

under couches, under beds, anywhere, really.

This is a great system.

The screen and case are 58.27 inches wide - big enough to cover the width of you sitting

in a chair, but not too wide for most setups.

Though for some super small setups it can be too wide - but you'd risk not having

enough coverage for proper keying otherwise.

Height-wise… it goes up to just over 70 inches tall.

This.. frustrates me a bit.

Just like 2 more inches and it'd be perfect for me to use standing up, but as-is, I'd

have to slouch quite awkwardly to make it work.

I realize the purpose of this is fully for sitting down setups for streaming, but this

would be the PERFECT screen for my post-production work, too, with a little more height.

To work around this, I would LOVE to see a taller variant.

I realize there's probably a limitation on height due to the crossbar's engineering,

but literally just like 3 more inches for me personally would be great.

I could, in theory, just set it up on some books or cinderblocks or something - but I

don't have anything to do so in a secure manner and evenly, and this technically detracts

from the easy setup gimmick for it.

Alternatively, I would also love to see a modification or variant in which the case

can also be hung from wall hooks like the projector screen I mentioned before and extended

upside down so I could use the height to still use while standing since I don't need a

green screen that goes to my feet.

I was thinking I could do this with this screen and maybe make a separate project video - but

unless I'd want to awkwardly hang it not at the top of my wall, it wouldn't reach

down far enough to be fully effective that way, either.

The mechanisms to use the screen are great and feel high quality, and the green screen

material itself feels super premium.

And the fact that it stays wrinkle-free is just… great.

Here's a message I sent directly to the Elgato team and I stand by this.

It's a premium product for a slightly premium price - but far cheaper than any remotely

similar professional products I have found.

My main concern would be if you left it up and a cat or dog decided to chew on or scratch

at it.

It's premium material, but if it ripped enough, the spring could theoretically pull

the bottom half back into the case and it's ruined forever.

But that's why it collapses into a protective case, right?

Lastly, I did want to cover setting this up in software.

This is still a green screen - you still need solid lighting for both you and the backdrop.

Shadows will give you problems, lack of light on you as the subject will cause problems.

This will also show up best with a proper camera, such as a camcorder or DSLR - fed

into a capture card or the Elgato Cam Link, conveniently launched at the same time.

A webcam won't resolve the color or background separation as well, and if you have auto settings

on, your face is about to get hella red.

We'll go from most complicated to easiest solutions - OBS, XSplit, and Elgato's Game

Capture software.

In all options just crop off the excess framing around the green screen.

Let's start with OBS Studio: Add your facecam to your scene as you normally

would.

Once it's set up, right-click its Source Listing, and click "Filters."

Here, you can add lots of effects and edits to your audio and video from this source.

Under "Effect Filters" click the Plus sign.

You can use either "Color Key" or "Chroma Key" - one may work better, depending on

your setup, but the intended purpose is basically the same.

Pick one and choose your "Key Color Type" - in this case, green.

This should automatically start to cut out some of the green.

You can now use the controls for "Similarity", "Smoothness" and "Key Color Spill Reduction"

to clean up your image.

"Similarity" controls how much color similar to Chroma Green it cuts out.

If there's lighting differences along your screen, you will want to adjust this - being

careful not to go too far and cut out other colors.

"Smoothness" smooths out edges and the overall keying of the color.

Too much can start to dissolve the rest of your image, though.

"Key Color Spill Reduction" aims to help you reduce keying of other colors - but again,

messing with this too much can affect your image on the whole.

This filter also gives you controls for Contrast, Brightness, and Gamma - but these should be

left alone in most cases.

This is something you need to adjust in your webcam or camera's settings instead of here.

Especially if the webcam has been left on default automatic modes, you may notice your

skin has now started to turn red on-camera due to it trying to compensate for the green

backdrop.

In XSplit: Add your webcam as normal to your scene.

Right click on the webcam either in your sources list or on the canvas and click the "Color"

tab.

Towards the bottom, you can choose "Color Key" or "Chroma Key."

For "Chroma Key," you choose the color green and adjust the "Threshold" and "Exposure"

to adjust your image.

You also have an "Anti-Aliasing" setting, which can help smooth some of the jagged edges

produced by the background removal, but with a performance impact.

For "Color Key" you can click the eyedropper tool to choose your background color, and

then adjust Threshold and Exposure, as well as individual Red, Green, and Blue levels

to fix color issues.

You also still have the Anti-Aliasing option here.

In Elgato's Game Capture software, enable Stream Command - I have a full video detailing

this feature linked in the video description.

Add your webcam to the scene or choose a scene with the webcam added and click "Edit Scene"

if it's not already in edit mode.

Click your webcam and click the icon of a silhouette in a square for "Remove Background."

Click "Enable Chroma Key", pick your color, and adjust tolerance.

Less control, but much simpler.

The Elgato Green Screen takes a setup that has been reserved for the lowest-end budget

configurations or unaffordably high-end setups and given us a very premium middle-tier that

will serve most streamers very well.

I'm happy to have something to implement within my studio space for chroma keying for

the first time… ever, and I'm excited to see what future revisions look like.

Omega Strike Review - Duration: 7:16.

On paper Omega Strike is a metroidvania.

Almost as if they read the definition on wikipedia and made sure the game followed exactly what

it said.

I know there's a audience for older style games and I appreciate that but I still think

a few improvements on the genre can go a long way.

For the uninitiated Omega Strike is a two dimensional platformer with a lot of connected

rooms.

The main goal is to defeat an evil boss.

To get there you'll need to collect items and do a lot of backtracking.

It's the signature of the style.

Interesting enough the game allows you to switch between three different characters

at a time.

The standard soldier, Sarge, doesn't do anything special at the start.

The beefier guy, Bear, can move heavy blocks and the ninja, Dex, can double jump.

As you defeat bosses and unlock new abilities more of the map is available to explore that

were inaccessible before.

The new element Omega Strike brings to the table is the character switching.

It's pretty cool and happens immediately which can lead to some skillful play.

The levels are designed so you are forced to switch back and forth.

Not only because some areas require a double jump but each has a different weapon.

Bear has a grenade launcher which can be used up high to stay safe.

It keeps all the characters relevant.

If this was not the case Dex, the double jumper, would be the most useful to use the entire

time.

Who doesn't want more control?

Eventually all the characters get abilities that are required to progress.

Sarge gets an awesome pipe hanging ability!

The problems is that early on doctor Omega takes Bear and Dex so you're forced to play

as Sarge for a long time.

If you're going to introduce a cool new element to the genre why take it away.

I'm talking right at the beginning.

You're just getting used to the character swap and boop, it's gone.

It's always odd to empower the player only to take it away, it's not a good feeling.

I was worried I wasn't going to get my crew back but that's the next task.

When you've set the genre for your game so specifically as metroidvania you can fall

into the same pitfalls as all the other games in that genre.

It can work in your favor though, especially for fans of the genre.

I by no means am an avid player so keep that in mind but Omega Strike has what I consider

very basic shooting and platforming.

Nothing feels bad about it, it's just clinical.

If I needed to explain what a platformer was this could be an almost educational experience.

Everything's exactly the way it should be and nothing more.

There's no excitement controlling the characters.

After a hundred times jumping, shooting, and platforming I was getting kind of bored.

The maps are big too so you'll be traversing a lot of screens, especially if you need to

check every room.

After a while I was just trying to get through the rooms as fast as possible, without killing

everything.

Most times there isn't a quick shortcut back either.

It would have a lot better if after defeating the boss in the area it looped you all the

way back to the start.

Instead I had to work my way back through a majority of the level.

I don't know if this was done to pad the game with gameplay but it just ends up being

a chore.

I didn't mind experiencing a new level and opening new rooms.

It just gets worse as more and more back tracking is required later in the game.

Even though I was getting bored of the mechanics I did enjoy the design and style of the game.

You have to admit the pixel art is pretty good.

The music is also done pretty well and there's a different track for each map of the game.

Each area is fairly distinct and the upgraded enemies have a different color pallet.

Even late in the game new enemy types are introduced.

Speaking of late game it can get difficult as Omega Strike puts so many enemies on the

screen combined with even more jumping.

When starting off it's too easy, I thought I made a mistake when selecting normal difficulty.

Around sixty percent into the game I noticed an uptick in the number of enemies and actually

died a few times.

There are plenty of save points throughout if you're checking all the rooms.

You could potentially miss one if you're blitzing the boss.

For a more skilled player I don't think hard mode is going to make it more difficult.

Sure enemies are harder to kill but you can still jump over them to progress.

You'll end up speed running and with a checkpoint before each boss that restores your health

there's no reason not to.

The bosses are done well and are my favorite part of the game.

Their design is really cool and the mechanics it takes to beat them is distinct each time.

They have a general pattern and phases but it's not so clean-cut.

What I mean is it's a bit subtle since nothing changes in the fight.

Their arm doesn't blow up or they turn bright red, nothing so dramatic.

It's more about keeping the player on their toes.

The bosses have a set of abilities that they can use at random.

Same as with the rest of the game, early on the bosses are pretty easy.

Nothing new is introduced and I wish the new abilities acquired in the game were used.

I guess that might limit which hero you used in the battle but then the double jump is

overpowered and the only option.

There's so many bosses, twelve to be exact, it would have been fine though.

For example Sarge gets a roll, he's the only one that can get into tight spaces.

That would have been a great way to switch sides of the screen, even a short gap in the

middle to roll under.

What if a rocket is taking off on one side and you needed to dodge a huge fireball.

Cutting the screen in half could make a boss battle very difficult and intense.

Maybe that's why it wasn't used, because character switching would have cranked up

the difficulty.

It would have given the bosses a little something extra though.

Yet they were something to look forward to for their silly banter and to escape the platforming.

I enjoyed Omega Strike but it was a struggle to finish.

I forced myself to get to the final boss.

If you're a bigger fan of metroidvanias then this will satisfy.

It leans toward being more faithful to the genre than I would have preferred but it's

a solid game.

A lot of effort went into polishing the game and it really shows.

I am excited to see what the developer, Wobblyware, can accomplish in their next game.

I hope they can let their imagination run wild.
