CalPERS Public Agency Member Election – Jason Perez - Duration: 4:31.

Hello, I'm Jason Perez.

I live in Riverside County.

Priya Mathur was elected to the CalPERS Board 15 years ago, and the unfunded liability has

grown to over $100 BILLION.

Mathur has failed CalPERS and put our retirement security at risk due in part to environmental,

social, and governance investing priorities, regardless of the investment risk.

Members suffered with some of the largest medical insurance premium increases during

Mathur's chairmanship of CalPERS' Health Benefits Committee.

In recent years, several firms that manage CalPERS' money were found to have mismanaged

those funds.

What has CalPERS done to recover your money?

Almost nothing.

Bureaucracies resist change – we who work for public agencies, know this.

If CalPERS continues business as usual, our retirement security will be at an even greater

risk.

The incumbent lives in denial of basic obligations: • The LA Times demanded Mathur resign for

ignoring misconduct by the former CEO, who is now in federal prison for taking bribes.

• Mathur has been fined multiple times for failing to disclose conflicts of interest

and campaign contributors.

• CalPERS' recent survey shows the stakeholder trust in CalPERS has plummeted almost 20%

in one year!

As a police officer association president, I understand how important secure pensions

are to all of us.

As a law enforcement professional, former detective, and current department administrative

sergeant, I deal with complex financial issues and make judgments about peoples' trustworthiness

every day.

I will put these skills to work for you on the CalPERS board.

If we want to save our pensions and protect our retirement security, we must act now to

get CalPERS back on the right track.

Tomorrow may, literally, be too late.

JasonPerezforCalPERS@gmail.com www.JasonPerezforCalPERS.com

#ProtectOurPension (916) 282-9202

Most CalPERS member pensions are worse funded today than when Mathur, the incumbent, joined

the board.

Your employer's contributions to CalPERS almost certainly have increased over that

time, decreasing the money available for raises.

Pension benefits have already been reduced for new hires.

There needs to be accountability for decisions that have hurt all of us CalPERS members,

as well as the people of California.

Mathur is out of touch, believing her role is to fly around the world, ringing the bell

of the London Stock Exchange and hobnobbing with United Nations officials.

Since the incumbent has been on the Board, some health premiums have essentially tripled,

our benefits and access reduced while medical inflation has been only 76%.

We need someone else—a person unafraid to fight for the interests of CalPERS members

and willing to ask uncomfortable questions: • Why the health premium increases and benefit

cuts?

• Why the investment underperformance?

I'll demand answers and transparency from the Board and staff.

My only job is to secure our pensions.

I'm honored to have gained the confidence and endorsement of (partial list):

• Inland Chapter of PORAC, • California Association of Highway Patrolmen,

• Riverside Sheriffs Association, • Retired Public Employees Association,

• Corona Firefighters Association, • Corona General Employees' Association,

• Corona Supervisors' Association, • Southern California Alliance of Law Enforcement

• California Coalition of Law Enforcement Associations

• Association for Los Angeles Deputy Sheriffs Police Officers Associations:

• Indio • El Segundo

• Ontario • Corona

• Richmond • Val Verde School District

Individual endorsements include: • Margaret Brown, CalPERS Board Member

• J.J.

Jelincic, CSEA past president, Former Board member of CalPERS

The CalPERS board is a mess.

Google "CalPERS board problems" to see what others say.

VOTE like the rest of your life depends on it, because it may.

BOSTON: Public Transport | Free Airport bus | Duck Tour | Skywalk - Duration: 16:43.

In Mandarin, you say 'Sheiy-Sheiy' (xiè xiè) for thank you

I thought this guy is crazy

I didn't see a wire I really thought he has a problem

But he has a wireless earphone

'Sheiy-Sheiy' (xiè xiè)

In Mandarin that is spoken in China, you say 'Sheiy-Sheiy' for thank you

To greet someone it's 'NI Hao' which means Hi

By the way, the job is done

It's strange that New York, such a famous city does not have public toilets in the vicinity

That too at a busy place like this

Where you have buses going in and out from different cities and states

I guess my bus is here

This is EastWestbus.com

Today is 30th May and not everything is going great

I had to go quite far looking for public toilet

Greeting a co-traveler

Checking up with the Bus conductor

At times, it becomes really challenge to follow and understand people

because of (I'm deliberately not referring to it in English ) the dialect and accent of the people

It becomes difficult to follow at times

I had to say that in English anyways

Checking with the bus conductor for the commute time

Folks, it's time to get into the bus

Good news! I've got the front seat

There's also a small washroom at the back in this bus

My previous bus from Philadelphia to New York also had it

It means that the long distance buses here come with a restroom facility in them

Keep guessing what I just said in Hindi

Ladies and gentlemen, you can be seated this bus without having to fasten your seat belts

This isn't a flight though, so this vehicle would commence it's journey towards Boston

And if you are probably having a problem comprehending my choice of words right now

It implies that you've bunked your Hindi language classes and now bear the consequence of it

We've reached our destination- Boston

Thank you

Welcome everyone to Boston

Boston is a 400-year old city and is a prominent city in the context of American independence struggle

For the next two and a half days- today, tomorrow and day after

I am going to explore this city

Let's begin Boston with figuring out how do we commute in Boston

Whenever you get to Boston by Air

You'd need to commute to the city and in and around

Well, Boston is one of those cities of US where the public transport system is well established and very effective

Boston has both subways and city buses

There is a special pass that one buy, which allows one to commute on both subways and buses

Generally a single ride would cost a minimum of $2.25 or $2.75 like in New York

It'd be very expensive if one has to spend $2.5 for every ride

If you are going to travel extensively then it's better you go for the Charlie Ticket

If you have watched my old episodes when I landed here the last time I got a Charlie Ticket done

This time I'll try getting a Charlie Card

Charlie Card is a plastic card that is free

Just like in Washington and in New York it costs a dollar to get it done

It's a simple card they'd charge a dollar to get this done

It is done for free here and then you can top it up as per your need

You have two options to top up the card- 1Day pass for $12 and 7Day pass would be $22

I am going to be here for 2.5 days and my host stays in ahead of Quincy... infact Weymouth which is quite far from here

For which I need to change a few subways and buses and so it'll be 5 to 6 rides on a daily basis

Some people suggested that getting a Charlie Card not easy since it is usually do not offered on short stays

So you need to tell them that you are here for a long time that's why you need a Charlie Card

The public transport system is called MBTA which is the local transport authority here

I checked their website to check the nearest location for me get a Charlie Card

The nearest location is East West Bank on Bedford Street which is 0.2 miles away from here

I got the card and now I need to proceed to New England Aquarium

I am planning to do a specific trip from there

Just like the way I booked the BigBus Trip in New York on Klook

The same way I booked a Go Boston Card on Klook for which I didn't have to go anywhere but booked it online.

With GoBoston Card I don't have to buy another ticket every time I visit a place of attraction

The best part is, it's a lot cheaper than the other way

Most of cities have such GoCity cards or something in the same lines of it.

I wanted to introduce this concept to you so that if you traveling to any city it's better to opt for this

And apart from this, you'd also get few premium attractions for free

I bought a 3-day GoBoston Card which got me a one free premium visit.

There are some premium attractions out of which I can visit one of them for free which otherwise is very expensive.

This card costed me about $120

I am running late and I need to rush

but since we are talking about public transport I wanted to share few basics of it

There are 4 lines of Metro- Blue, Orange, Green and Red

There is no metro at the airport as such but you have free buses running called SL-1

I took SL-1 bus to reach the downtown (South Station) from the Airport

This is the map from Airport to South Station

Once you South Station, you can get any public transport to go anywhere

This is Boston Duck Tours

Though all the seats are booked for the next available trip

This trip will cost you 42 $

These are the rates for children

Whereas Go Boston card costs 110 $ with a lot a activities

So getting a Go Boston card is cheaper if you are doing a lot of activities

They offer their trips from 3 different locations

So I am going to the Science museum from where I am going to get an early trip

There the next trip starts at 3:!5 pm. Its already 2:!5 pm now

These are Segway guided tours. Another way to explore Boston

This is Blue Line T

Where are all these children going!!

This boat seems to be booked only for children

it was a 90 minutes trip

I am at '7 Eleven' store

I was hungry to I bought this

Bean and Cheese Burrito

costs 1.99 $

I got a reward points card when I visited a CVS store

Yesterday they sent me an email mentioning about discounts and offers

So if you are travelling/stay in USA, its better to get such cards to get discounts or rewards

I am not getting my CVS card. I wanted to show you

So this is the CVS card

Likewise, I just got a card from 7 Eleven

After getting this you will get 800 points

through which you can get some things for free

after keeping it in the microwave oven for 45 seconds, now my Burrito is ready

You can also get free chilly and cheese, different sause

After getting this card you have to register your US mobile number on their app or website

After registering I got 800 points

I can get these things for free

I am going to get the coffee now

This was 7 Eleven store

it took 20 seconds to reach the 50th floor!

Now I am going to show them my Go Boston card voucher

to get the entry

otherwise you have to pay 20$ to enter this skywalk observatory

The best time to visit this place is - Evening

I am on the 50th floor of Prudential towers...

This is a guide

have to dial 102 to know more about the place in front of me

That is Trinity Church

In USA, there are over 1.8 million Indians

In Massachusetts, there are 50,000 people of Indian origin

You can do a lot of activities in this observatory.

You can even watch these films

Another day has begun

I am at Richard's place

He is...

He is gone...

He is Amery... from Turkey

This is how this place is!

People from different parts of the world live here

Like USA, the land of immigrants

People from all over the world stay here

live together harmoniously

For me, Richard's house is Mini-USA

Welcoming Spokane Public Schools staff to the 2018-19 school year! - Duration: 3:29.

Welcome back to the 2018-2019 school year.

I hope you had a wonderful summer with your friends and families.

With the start of school upon us, I am so excited for the great things that are ahead

for Spokane Public Schools. We are grateful and thank you for the incredible

job you do serving students.

Your work changes lives.

Each day the dedication, love and expertise that you display open doors for students

to reach their potential.

The countless hours of work you invest in students is shining the light of hope for

a successful and happy future. Every one of you, serving both in and out

of the classroom, play a key role in helping our students grow as learners and positive

community members.

With us all working together as a district family, the opportunities for students are limitless.

Staying connected to your voice, and ensuring the experts in our schools who are doing the

work are helping shape our direction, will continue to be key a focus moving forward as we

prepare students to complete a T24 experience after high school.

We are committed to improving as a district to provide everyone the best experience possible,

this centers on maintaining student and staff safety as a top priority, and working to provide

the support and resources that you need to prepare our students for the 21st century.

Spokane Public Schools is great because of its people, and there is much to be excited for

I am so excited this school year to see 550 of my closest little friends.

My new fresh kindergarten class. We're excited to teach math and letters and writing and music.

Having our community back together, getting the year going and continuing the work we've been doing.

You know, taking what I've learned over the summer through some staff development

and professional development and some books I'm reading, and apply that in my classroom

to just kind of create an awesome culture in sixth grade.

I am most excited about working with the students that I worked with last year and just seeing

how much they've grown over the summer.

I'm so excited to see their parents and partner with them, you know, for their children's success.

I just love the possibility that each new year brings. And knowing where our kids start

and how far they go in just one short year of time.

I'm most excited to meet my students. I'm moving into a classroom, so I get to build

relationships with the students and get to know their families a little bit better.

I'd say the adventure, right? Ready to get back, help kids grow and it's always an adventure in middle school.

But that's the fun part. you've got to love the process.

Oh man, I'm just so excited about the work that we've been doing, and when I say the work

it's our entire collective staff, to help all of our kids be successful academically, socially and emotionally.

Teaching in general is a lot like being a fine chef. you never know what kind of ingredients are

gonna come to the table, but after you do a little mixing and give it a little bit of love and effort and support,

you can come up with a gourmet meal.

Our culture reflects the heart of

our district family, it is what makes us special.

Our shared commitment to the SPS culture of Serving Others, Practicing Kindness and Compassion,

and Striving for Improvement sets the stage for us to create schools where staff and students

feel supported, valued, and inspired.

You are the best, your efforts reflect why we all dedicate our lives to students.

You are the difference makers, and we appreciate everything you do for kids.

We look forward to visiting your school soon.

Hello, I'm Priya Mathur.

I live in San Anselmo, in Marin, County. I am the incumbent.

As your newly elected President of the CalPERS Board, I am laser-focused on protecting the

pension fund's long-term sustainability, as well as fiercely defending our members

from pension attacks and fighting for the California Rule.

Since joining the Board in 2003, I've worked to ensure your pension will be there when

you retire and you have access to quality and affordable healthcare.

It's an honor to represent you.

I respectfully ask for your vote.

PROTECTING YOUR RETIREMENT DOLLARS AND HEALTHCARE—THE RECORD IS CLEAR

INVESTMENT AND HEALTHCARE EXPERIENCE MATTERS

"CalPERS Board President Priya Mathur is the only candidate with the financial experience

and track record to make sure your pension will be there when you retire."

–Riko Mendez, CEO, SEIU Local 521.

• I helped lead the Fund from a low of $181 billion following the Great Recession to $350

billion today.

We did it by diversifying our portfolio, keeping investment fees low and holding corporations

and Wall Street accountable.

* My opponent testified (CalPERS 08/16/2017) "I don't pretend to know how to invest."

• Healthcare costs in California are increasing at a higher rate than what CalPERS members

pay.

I've worked to ensure members receive quality, highvalue and affordable healthcare, including

full access to family planning.

• Wall Street greed and risky schemes caused the 2008 economic meltdown.

CalPERS has led efforts to recover lost assets and ensure that corporations are responsive

to CalPERS members' financial interests.

* My opponent's attacks on CalPERS' leadership in recovering assets and holding corporations

and Wall Street responsible demonstrate a lack of knowledge about today's financial

markets.

His head in the sand approach could expose CalPERS to another economic disaster.

News on Youtube Sep 1 2018

Hello, spinners!

You are on PenStock and today I will show 3 easy movements you how to do 2 easiest tricks

with a pen, which still look nice and are used in combos pretty often.

After that I will show you one easiest link today also and you should know, that there

is also a very commonly used linkage with one of these tricks, which I will show you

in one of the next videos, subscribe to this channel if you still haven't and don't

miss it.

What I am talking about is – Neo Sonic and Neo Sonic Reverse.

Remember, if you don't know, what reverse means or what a combo is – check out the

video about Basics and Terms in Pen Spinning, you can find the link in the description under

this video on YouTube.

These tricks are so simple that you can easily learn them without a specially made tool for

pen spinning – a pen mod.

Of course, learning would be much easier with it and today I will show you these tricks

with Buster CYL – you can buy this and a lot of other pen mods, as well as huge variety

of goods specially for pen spinners – PENSTOCK.NET, with a cheap and fast delivery all over the

world.

So, let' s start with Neo Sonic Normal, which looks like this.

To perform the trick take your pen in slot 12 parallel to the floor.

Fingers are relaxed, a bit folded, pen mod like lays on your Middle finger and touches

it either on the center of gravity, or a bit closer to the end, which looks at you.

Depends on mod's lenght.

Index finger lays on the mod and keeps it in this position.

Once again – don't tense the fingers, all tricks in pen spinning should be done

with relaxed hand.

This would be the starting position for performing the trick.

Raise your Middle finger pretty fast jabbing the mod out and at the same time push the

mod a little bit with your Index.

Middle finger should bump the mod strong enough to throw it over the Index, Index finger should

push the pen at the very same time and stay low to let it go over.

To let your pen move over Index, make sure your Middle goes up and doesn't interfere

it's rotation.

And after the pen goes to the other side of your Index, stop it with your Thumb.

That's it, that's all the trick, which is called Neo Sonic Normal, easy, right?

Learn it and then come back to this video, we are going to move on to the next trick

– Neo Sonic Reverse, which is obviously the very same trick, made in the opposite

direction.

It makes it to be an another trick, however.

It looks like this and may be slightly harder to learn than Normal Neo Sonic, for some people,

actually it is also very simple.

So take your mod between Thumb and Index finger at the center, it is also OK to hold it closer

to one end, so most part of your mod would look up, closer to the end – easier to make

the trick, but don't overuse, try to hold it closer to center, in the future it would

help you to embed the trick in linkages easier.

The mod is athwart to the floor, not parallel as it was while doing previous trick.

Well, there still should be a tiny angle, you should tilt the mod a little bit towards

yourself.

This would be the starting position for performing the trick.

Now push the pen with your Index finger, it should be a slight tiny gentle movement, Thumb

can pull the mod a bit, but the main movement is on the Index, initial pushing should be

gentle, but strong enough to throw the mod over the finger.

And after it goes over – stop it with your Middle and catch in slot 12.

As you can see, it lands at the starting position for doing Neo Sonic Normal.

Congratulations, you have learnt the 2 simplest tricks in Pen Spinning!

Now let's see what we can do with this skill.

Next I will show you how to make a good linkage out of these trick, the movement would be

called Neo Sonic Harmonic and it looks like this.

Pretty cool, huh.

It's even cooler when you know that it doesn't require any extra skill.

Do Neo Sonic and when the pen would be between Thumb and Index finger, immediately do Neo

Sonic Reverse.

You may notice that the pen goes back easier, it doesn't need you to push it with your

Index, it should stay low, and right after Thumb stops the pen – move it away, Index

stays low.

This linkage is commonly used by many pen spinners in their freestyles and combos.

Learn the movements from this video one by one.

When you're done with Neo Sonic from slot 12 to T1, learn it in slots 23-T2, then go

on to Neo Sonic Reverse and learn it in those slots as well.

You may leave learning of the trick in slots 34-T3 for later, as at the beginning of your

Changing smocking pleating ratios for different fabric weights with simple math - Duration: 5:55.

Hey everyone, here is how you can adjust a pleating radio using some simple math. I also

have a video on how to adjust a pleating ratio, and that video focuses more on the built in

geometry, so you don't have to do any math. Anywho, to figure out how much fabric you'll

need for a given length, you'll first need to establish what I am calling a pleating

ratio. Basically, the ratio of pre-pleated fabric to pleated fabric. To do this, I take

a ten inch strip and run it through my pleater. I use ten inches since the math is easy, but

you can pick any length that you wish. Then I adjust the pleats until I like the spacing.

There isn't really a "right or wrong" way to adjust your pleats, although too tight

will make it hard to pleat and personally, I don't like that look. But it's sewing,

you do you. So once you get your ratio, then you'll

measure what your post pleated fabric need to span. So in my case, I'm doing some pleating

underneath this yoke. I only want pleating in the center 3 ¾ inches under the yoke.

I want some flat fabric on each end to make construction easier.

So here's the math – my established ratio is 4 inches of finished pleated fabric to

the 10 inches of the pre-pleated length. Now I know I want around 3 ¾ inches of finished

pleated fabric, so I'm going to use that to figure out what my pre-pleated length should

be. So I cross multiply and solve for x. So I've

got 4 times x for 4x and 3.75 times 10 for 37.5. Then divide both sides by 4 to solve

for x, so 37.5 divided by 4 is 9 and 3/8 since .375 is 3/8.

Now remember, we've set up x to be the portion of pleated fabric. In my case, I also need

to add in a facing on one side as well as an armhole on the other. Keep these variables

in mind as you approach your own project. Just add in those factors as you need. So

I'm adding on three inches for that facing and two inches for the armhole.

So I've got my 2 inches for the armhole plus the 9 and 3/8 inches for the pleated

section plus 3 inches for the facing for a total of 14 and 3/8 inches.

So that gives you the math portion. Then I pleat up my fabric by running both the left

front side of my dress through the pleater as well as the right front side of my dress

without removing my threads – just one less thing to do.

Then I pull off plenty of extra thread before moving these from my pleater. I pull the thread

so each piece of fabric has enough to work with. Then I cut the threads and move all

those pleats over so I can make room for my facing. I planned for 3 inches to go to the

facing. So I find the nearest pleat to three inches and pull up those threads. Then I should've

tied those treads off so they are secure before I moved onto the armhole, but I just forgot.

You'll see that I go back and tie them off in a little bit.

So I mark my armhole giving the pattern. You can see that I have the yoke pattern right

on top of the skirt pattern that has the armhole attached to it. So I overlap these pattern

pieces at the given seam allowance. I make sure that seam allowance is collinear to the

top of the skirt and the side of the armhole is also flush, and then I pull out the pleats

on the other side of those marks, giving myself some space for seam allowance. And really,

I should've tied that first side off before moving onto this armhole so I don't pull

out any of those threads. So I'm doing that now and then going back to the armhole side.

Then I cut around that armhole. So then I iron that facing over into place

and get my favorite freezerrr paperrrr. Love this stuff. So I bring over the yoke just

to double check my work as I'm blocking. So I line up one side with the yoke and then

tie those pleating threads off so the other side of the skirt is flush with the yoke.

At this point, I am only concerned with getting the length correct. After those threads are

tied off, then I trim them up and evenly distribute the pleats. Then I grab some of this freezer

paper and iron the waxy side down to keep those pleats in place. If you are new to using

freezer paper, I do have a more detailed video going over how you can block using this magical

stuff – seriously, I can't recommend it enough.

Then I put my yoke right sides together with my pleated skirt and sew the two together.

Normally I would trim up the freezer paper so it is flush with my fabric, making a consistent

seam allowance easier to achieve, but I couldn't find a non-sewing pair of scissors and didn't

want to make too much noise – this was around 4 in the morning. But you get the idea…

from there I would continue sewing my entire garment and then do the smocking at the end,

on a finished garment. I hope this video was helpful. If you have

any questions, please leave them in the comments below and I'll do my best to answer them.

As always, I appreciate y'all for watching and I hope to catch ya next time.

How to Make a Simple Slider Style Lower Third - Duration: 4:50.

Jay Haynes for the Film Sensei YouTube

channel! Today in this video, we're going

to do this very simple slider style

lower-third!

So what I'm going to do is I'm going to

make a new composite shot, and it will

only be three seconds long because it

doesn't really have to be that long. So

what I'm going to start by doing is

creating a new text layer. I think I will

go ahead and make it

1850 pixels wide so that it's just off the

left edge. Then I can just type in

whatever is going to be in the

text layer, and then go ahead and

make it look the way that I want it

to look. From here I'm just going to go

ahead and move it into the position

where I want it to be as far as where

the lower third will occur. I'm going to

create a new plane layer, and I'm

going top leave it black. Clicking okay, but I

am going to use the fill color effect.

Just drag that onto the plane.

Opening it up, I will change the blend

amount to 100%... that way it's completely

white, and from here I can just grab a

corner and then adjust it so that it's

about where I want it to be as far as

being the line that's going to expose

the lower third text. From here,

if I just highlight that I can bring it

down, and I can bring it over so that it

is sitting essentially where it will end

up after it has slid over.

I want to add another plane, and this plane

will actually be the matte. So while using my

f2 key I am going to rename it Matte.

Then I want to slide it over so that it

is in line with the line.

Then both of those two will move at the

same time. Now I'm going to create a new

point layer, and I will rename that point

Control. I want to take the

plane that is the line and parent it to

the control point as well as the matte

parenting it to the control point. That

way if I move the control point, I'm

going to move my matte plane

as well as mine line. If I move

in say about ten frames, and I open up

the control point and I keyframe the

position of that... maybe make it smooth.

Then I can back up to here. I can just go ahead and

slide it over so it's off the screen

like this... maybe -530 pixels or

so. Then I come to ten frames before the

end. I can go ahead and add another

keyframe here making it smooth. Then

I go to the very end I can just copy

that same keyframe (from the beginning) here like that.

That way it will slide in and then it will

slide it out. Now all I have to do is

use the plane as the matte to expose

or cover the lower third text. So what I

will do is search for the Set Matte effect.

I will drag that actually onto the text

itself. If I open up the properties

for that I will say source layer is the Matte and

then I will change the blend mode to

subtract and invert it. So now we should

have the situation where that covers and

uncovers. But you say, wait a minute, the

mat is still there! Well that's because I

have it turned on. If I turn it off, then

it is completely transparent and can be

laid over the top of any video that you

want. If you wanted to change the

color of the plane, it's very easy to do.

If you want to change the color of

the text, it's very easy to do. If

you want to change the actual text, how

long it is, you can always readjust

everything but it's all set up now!

This is a composite shot. Use it as

your template and you'll be good to go!

If you have any questions about how

to do this very simple lower third, feel

free to drop them in the comments below,

otherwise thanks for watching!

Simple CUTE Makeup & Hair Tutorial 超简单日系可爱妆容 可愛いメイク - Duration: 5:16.

After you set the foundation, Smile and Apply blush on the upper cheek.

It will make the blush look more natural. You will also look very youthful!

Moving on to eye shadow, choose a light orange-red shade as the base color and apply it on your lids.

It will give you a feminine and sweet look.

Make sure that you don't apply too much pink/red/orange eye shadow

because it can make your eyes look irritated.

Now apply the light brown shade on your lids along the lash line.

Dark eye shadow will make your eyes look bigger

I am a bit lazy, I use the brown-shade eye shadow to redefine my eyebrow, instead of using eyebrow powder

Start from the arch part to the end of your eyebrow. Then draw from the start of your eyebrow.

Don't apply too much or make it too dark

A light colored and curved eyebrow will give you a soft and feminine look

Line your eyes with a super-thin eyeliner.

you are less likely to make mistakes if the eyeliner is thin. Japanese brands usually sell ultra thin eyeliner (0.1mm)

Start lining your eyes from your inner/center eyelids

This liner is almost used up. Next time I will be better prepared

At the end of the lash-line, go up and create a cat eye look!

When you smile, you will have moon-like smiley eyes!

Look~ The power of the eyeliner! : )

Many people don't have exact same size or shape of eyes.

You can adjust this using eyeliner.

For example, my left eye is bigger than my right eye.

I draw eye-line thicker for my left eye

To make you look more soft and feminine, apply a light shade just below your eyes.

Like this

It can create bambi eyes (doe eyes) look, which makes a girl look very soft and innocent

Line your outer lower lashline with a dark brown eye liner or brown eye shadow to make your eyes stand out more.

Choose a pink or orange red lipstick.

Almost done!

Take a light eyeshadow and apply it along the top part of your lips.

Your lips look sexier in this way!

To complete this cute and girly look, I will teach you how to create a popular Japanese girl hairstyle.

All you need is a small hair straightener

Pick the hair for the bangs.

Curl your hair from outside to inside with the straightener

Use your hand to adjust

Look! Its cute right?

Now it's time for the curly hair on the cheeks

Just like the bangs, curl them from outside to inside

Having them makes your face appear smaller and girly

Kawaiiiiiiii!

Last but not least ~

You need a hair bow

Cherry on the top

Creating a simple workflow | Workflow Engine - Duration: 5:32.

Cheers, this is Jan with Workflow Engine.

In this video I'm going to show you how to create a simple task management workflow.

If you're not familiar with the interface of the visual designer, have a look at our previous video.

Say we want to create a workflow, where we would be able to put a new task to our backlog,

mark it as being executed when we start working on it, submit the task for review, and mark

it as completed, if the review was successful.

Also let's add an option to reject execution of a task and remove it from the backlog,

and an option to send the task back from review if not done properly.

Before we proceed it is important that you understand the difference between states and

activities.

Activities in Workflow Engine are essentially the steps of your workflow, whereas states

are major stages of your business process.

One state might have many activities that belong to it.

In our scenario we will have the following states: Backlog, In progress, and Completed.

The Backlog state will have the To do activity, the In progress state will have the Being

done and Under review activities, and the Completed state will have the Done and Won't do activities.

Let's start with a blank canvas and create an activity by clicking the create activity button.

Add four more activities the same way and spread them over the canvas for better readability.

Now, let's set up our activities.

To do that you need to bring up the settings of each activity by double-clicking on it.

The settings here are as follows: Name - represents the name of your activity.

State - represents the name of the state that this activity belongs to.

The 'Initial' checkbox marks whether this is the activity your workflow should start with.

You can have only one initial activity.

The initial activity is painted green.

The 'Final' checkbox marks whether this is the activity your workflow should end with.

You can have multiple or no final activities in your workflow.

The final activity is painted blue.

The 'For set state' checkbox marks whether this should be the initial activity for a

certain state when you programmatically set your process into it.

We will leave the rest of the settings for now — they represent more complex scenarios

and will be covered in the upcoming videos.

Let's call the first activity 'To Do', specify 'Backlog' as the state, and set

this activity as initial, as this will be the activity we start our workflow with.

Let's call the second activity 'Being done', specify 'In progress' as the

state, and set this activity as initial for this state by ticking the 'For set state' checkbox.

Let's call the third activity 'Under review', and specify 'In progress' as the state.

Let's call the fourth activity 'Done', specify 'Completed' as the state, and mark it as a Final one.

Let's call the fifth activity 'Won't do', specify 'Completed' as the state, and mark it as a Final one.

Ultimately, we end up having three states of our business process: Backlog, In progress,

and Completed with each having one or more activities in it.

Let's connect our activities to one another to finalize our workflow.

Activities are connected with one another with transitions.

In order to create a transition you need to select the activity you want to transition

from, click on the arrow icon and click on the activity you want to transition to.

Let's make a linear workflow from To do, through Being done and Under review to Done.

Let's add another transition from Under review to Being done for cases, where the

task needs to be sent back from review to be improved, and a transition from To do to Won't do for cases, when the task is rejected.

Now we need to set up our transitions.

To do that, double-click a transition to bring up its settings.

The settings here are as follows: Name - represents the name of your activity.

Classifier - represents the direction of your transition.

It can be direct, reverse or unspecified.

Trigger - specifies when the transition should be executed.

There are three trigger options: Auto - the transition will be executed immediately

if the process reaches the activity the transition stems from.

Command - the transition will be executed upon the receipt of a command from an external source by the Workflow Engine.

Timer - the transition will be executed on a specified time or date, or upon expiry of a specified period of time.

We will leave the rest of the settings for now — they represent more complex scenarios and will be covered in the upcoming videos.

Let's set all transition classifiers to direct, except for the one which sends the task back from Under review to Being done.

For the purposes of this tutorial we will assume, that all transitions shall be executed with a command.

Hence, we need to specify five commands for our five transitions.

To do that, click the commands button and create five commands called startProgress,

startReview, completeReview, sendBack, and rejectTask.

Now, double-click each transition, specify Command as the trigger, and select the respective

command that will launch each transition: startProgress for the transition from To do to Being done;

startReview for the transition from Being done to Under review; completeReview for the transition from Under review to Done;

sendBack for the transition from Under review back to Being done; and rejectTask for the transition from To do to Won't do.

We've successfully created a simple task management workflow with the visual designer.

Stay tuned for our next video where we'll create a more complicated workflow and dive deeper into transition conditions.

Ina Garten Shares Her Super Simple 'Pro Tip' for Using Up Stale Bread - News Today - Duration: 2:40.

Ina Garten's simple tip is going to take your favorite soups and salads to the next level

The Barefoot Contessa host, who often shares helpful pieces of advice to home cooks on Instagram, shared a short video on Wednesday, demonstrating a super easy recipe for homemade croutons

"When most people are making croutons, I think what they do is they put the oil and the croutons in the pan at the same time," Garten explains

"But what pros do, is they heat up the pan, put in a few tablespoons of olive oil —make sure the oil is really hot; with a hot pan it gets hot faster— and then put in the croutons

That way croutons get nice and brown but they don't absorb the oil so much."  The Food Network star says to also sprinkle the bread with lots of salt and pepper to give them more flavor

She also shared that her tip can work for other recipes as well.  "This is actually a great way to make sautéed onions, anything you're sautéing in a pan," she says

"Heat up the oil first. It will make such a difference."  After Garten finished toasting her croutons, she couldn't help but immediately take a bite

"It's very hot," she says while laughing.  Garten noted that the recipe is perfect for utilizing leftover bread in the freezer or that "half eaten baguette from dinner

"  If the video of her whipping up the croutons looked familiar, it's because it's also the subject of the cover image on her new cookbook Cook Like a Pro, on stands Oct

23.  "I think what makes this book unique is it's so packed with really good information that will help people understand what they're doing wrong so they can do it better," she told PEOPLE in April
