Photo Stamp Remover is a photo correction utility that can remove watermarks, date stamps

and other unwanted objects that appear on photographs.

Offering a fully automatic process, the program uses an intelligent restoration technology

to fill the selected area with the texture generated from the pixels around the selection,

so that the defect blends into the rest of the image naturally.

What takes hours to correct using the clone tool, can be accomplished in a minute using

Photo Stamp Remover.

Xiaomi Mi Note 3 Review! - Duration: 12:35.

The Xiaomi Mi Note 3 looks like the twin of the Mi 6, bigger in display size, but still

quite pricey at SGD500.

It seems like the Mi Note series is meant to fill the gap between the Redmi Note series

and the Mi flagships.

Xiaomi to me is blurring the lines more and more with these variants.

In terms of design, there isn't much difference with the Mi 6, with the exception of the screen

size, 5.5 inch to be exact.

It has the same glass back that wraps around all 4 sides onto the metal frame to give it

that seamless design.

It feels pretty light on the hands at 163g even with a 5.5 inch screen.

It's even lighter than the Mi 6.

Using it naked will be difficult with the glass back but they also included a TPU case

in case you need it.

The TPU case is simple but it gets the job done.

Just like the Mi 6, the Xiaomi Mi Note 3 comes with stereo speakers which are great.

The volume is loud but it lacks clarity and sounds a little hollow to me.

The speaker at the earpiece sounds softer and less punchy than the bottom ones, but

on the whole it's still good.

It's also missing a headphone jack and they provided a Type C to headphone adapter if

you need to use wired earphones.

It's troublesome to bring out and easy to misplace since the adapter is small.

For me I still prefer using Bluetooth earphones.

Yet again there isn't an option to change LED colors at the settings pages.

This should be a norm for higher end phones.

Xiaomi please fix.

There isn't any camera bump so it won't rock on the table as well.

The fingerprint sensor has the same design as the Mi 6, concaved and made of glass.

It's easy to locate, feels nice and works pretty fast.

For daily use, the buttons are quite reachable but I need to stretch my fingers a little.

It's very clicky and provides a nice feedback.

As I have commented in the Mi 6 video, the Mi 6 has the best design so far for their smartphones.

Likewise for the Mi Note 3 since its similar, but the design could add some unique features

to differentiate the Mi Note series.

Anyhow it still looks very sleek and feels premium.

The 5.5 inch display has 550nits of brightness according to their website.

I can still see the screen content when using it outdoors with direct sunlight.

It has FHD resolution with 403 PPI, sharp enough in my opinion.

Colors are saturated and bright, you can adjust colors and contrasts in the settings.

I prefer it to be Automatic Contrast as it looks the best to me.

The capacitive buttons are backlit and labelled as a dot.

The function can be changed to be menu or back buttons on either side.

You can also change things like what to show when menu is being pressed and long press behaviour.

The fingerprint sensor is very accurate and unlocks very quickly.

The display also turns on almost instantaneously.

A new security feature is Face Unlock.

Initially I was a little sceptical about all this face recognition.

But it turns out; it works pretty fine for me.

I tested with spectacles on and off, and it's still able to unlock the phone.

I can say its 90% accurate and very fast but of course it's not as secure as a fingerprint

but still a nice feature to have.

The Mi Note 3 is available in 2 configurations, 64/128 GB of storage and 6GB of RAM.

Fresh from the box it has around 51.84 GB free for the 64GB model that I am using.

Usually their higher end models are missing the micro SD card slot

and sadly the Mi Note 3 follows suit.

Good news is that it supports USB OTG for the extra storage.

Dual SIM is supported with 4G + 3G but only 1 SIM can be 4G

at any one time with the other one being 3G.

There are also settings like default dial / internet SIM and VoLTE.

Whats new with Xiaomi phones is the Snapdragon 660 and Adreno 512.

The Snapdragon 660 is the successor to the Snapdragon 653, designed to have near flagship

performance in a midrange market.

It also brings with it Bluetooth 5.0 and Quick Charge 4.0 but the Mi Note 3 only supports

Quick Charge 3.0.

Antutu scored 110176 and Geekbench scored 1559 for single core and 4977 for multicore,

similar to the Snapdragon 820 series.

Performance was excellent for gaming, screen loads fast, graphics was smooth.

Couldn't find or notice any slowdown.

The phone runs pretty cool when I tested Galaxy on Fire 3 for about 20 mins.

Day to day usage is not a problem given the 6GB of RAM.

No issues with multitasking.

Phone calls were good with no drop calls and reception bars was close to max most of the time.

Using Waze for GPS location was also accurate.

I tested Wifi and 4G speed which is quite good as well.

From the box the Mi Note 3 is running Android 7.1.1 on top of MIUI 8.5.

As usual this is a china ROM, no Google Apps are installed.

Installing it the Mi Store way does not work, Google Playstore will be stuck at getting info.

I used the same method for Mi 5X and Mi 6, the link will be in the description below.

So far all the Xiaomi phones I have reviewed have the exact MIUI and settings.

So later, head over to the video link below to check out the software features on the Mi Note 3.

I am planning to do a dedicated software features video for future MIUI versions too.

Just for the record, the lag at the settings page still exists.

3500 mAh battery seems pretty small in comparison to the Mi 6 at 3350 mAh.

The Mi Note 3 is bigger in size yet the capacity is just marginally bigger.

I would have expected it to be at least near 4000 to be acceptable.

It still lasts a full day with normal usage like calls, messaging, lots of web browsing,

Youtube and occasional gaming.

Screen on time was about 5-7 hours which is pretty decent and of course more gaming will

definitely drain the battery faster.

Usually the phone is unplugged for around 12 hours and before I go to bed, it would

have around 25-35% battery left.

The supplied charger is Quick Charge supported and although the Mi Note 3 supports Quick

Charge 4.0, it's only 3.0 enabled.

So for a quick boost in battery, it can charge 50% battery in around 30 mins and it takes

around 1-2 hours to fully charge to 100%.

It also has the standard battery saver mode to prolong battery life, power settings to

check temperature, usage time, heating / battery drain notifications and such.

The Mi Note 3 features dual 12MP wide angle and telephoto lens with modes like portrait,

tilt shift, panorama, hand held twilight and beautify.

Filters can be accessed by tapping on the triple circle icon and a dedicated HDR button

is at the top right.

Focusing speeds are quick and auto focus with good lighting works well but low light focus

takes a little longer than usual.

Macro shots are pretty good and don't get blurry if taken it right.

As for zoom, Xiaomi boasts 2X optical zoom without loss of quality which seems pretty true.

Any more zoom will result in more grainy images.

Portrait mode can be turned on by the icon at the top.

It blurs out the surrounding to fully focus on the object.

For daytime shots, colors look really punchy and saturated, even more so in HDR mode.

Night shots are quite okay as well with good enough lighting.

As usual, there is the Time Lapse and Slow Motion mode for video.

It can also record up to 4K resolution with support for OIS.

I tried moving the phone a lot in the video and the OIS maybe just helped a little.

The Beautify tool for the front facing camera works pretty well.

It makes my face look really smooth for the Instagram worthy picture, I hope.

Apart from the new Snapdragon 660, there isn't much wow factor from the Mi Note 3.

Whatever features here can also be found on the Mi 6 which seems like a better choice.

Just by topping up a little more cash, you can get Xiaomi's flagship device.

The Mi Note 3 is still a very capable device and those that prefer a bigger screen, can consider it.

Or Xiaomi might just spawn another variant, the Mi 6 Plus perhaps?

'Blade Runner: 2049' Film Review - Duration: 2:37.

Now, before I begin talking about Blade Runner: 2049 I should let you all know that I've

never seen Blade Runner, the one from 1982, and I didn't plan on watching the original

film simply because I usually don't like watching films that aren't playing in theaters.

If it's not playing in theaters, then I won't watch it, but I will tell you some

of my thoughts on this movie.

This new Sci-fi film from director Denis Villeneuve is about a Los Angeles police detective named

K who uncovers a mystery about subservient androids called replicants and tries to solve

the puzzle by finding another detective who went missing 30 years ago.

In addition to impressive action and fight scenes, Blade Runner: 2049 is filled with

amazing special effects and graphic design.

This is most evident when you see holograms of all sizes appear and disappear spontaneously

around the city.

The holograms seem to help the filmmaker's goal of making viewers ponder the questions:

What is real and what is not?

Does love need to be natural or can it be synthesized?

What does it mean to be human or alive?

All this is good thinking when it comes to intimate love but it gets kind of tiresome

and boring whenever the antagonist, played by Jared Leto, blabs about replicants serving

mankind as slaves, which is disappointing because Leto isn't given much to do.

Ryan Gosling shines the most in front of the spotlight as he performs his character perfectly

well, which by the way is K, the protagonist.

K is obedient and emotionless but as he gets closer to finding out the truth about his

past and about replicants, he becomes more fragile, sensitive, afraid and angry.

Another appealing factor that needs to be taken in account is the creative and exotic

production design including not only the futuristic city, but the deserted and crumbling wasteland

filled with remnants of the past.

A lot of what you'll see in the movie is interesting and thought provoking in a good

way.

What's not interesting is the almost unbearable 2 hour and 43 minute running time and slow-paced

drama.

If I could make a suggestion, watch Blade Runner: 2049 in IMAX 3D. Trust me, it is well

worth the extra price of admission.

With all the aerial scenes that the movie provides, I'm pretty sure you'll feel

like you're flying around LA in 2049.

My name is Carlos Steven Carty and thanks for watching.

Good Lights For Simple Video Shoots - Fovitec Studio Pro 20x20in Softbox Review - Duration: 3:45.

Good lighting is one of those things that can dramatically improve your production quality.

This lamp could probably do wonders, but this isn't the type of light we're talking about

today.

Today, we're talking about this one.

The soft box.

Now soft boxes are commonly used in studios for portrait photography or product photography.

But you can also use them for video.

Their main benefit is that they give off a soft, even light.

So no harsh shadows.

They're also easy to setup and great for simple shoots.

Today we're looking at the StudioPRO 20x20 soft box from Fovitec.

You actually get two full lights in this kit.

So you're getting 2 20"x20"in soft boxes, 2 stands, and 2 bulbs.

All of this for $100 bucks.

The bulbs are compact fluorescents.

And they're pretty large.

The stands are made of aluminum with plastic locking collars.

And they raise the lights to a max height of 7'6''.

As I mentioned earlier, the soft box is 20x20.

It has the reflective inner lining you commonly find in soft boxes.

And it's fully collapsable.

One of the main selling points for this specific soft box is how quick it is to set up.

And I gotta say, once you do it once and get the hang of it, I completely agree.

Building the main box shape took no time at all.

The cool thing about this product is that the rods are already attached to its socket.

So to put it together you just have to slide the cover over the rods, feed them through

the corners, and click it into place.

Screw in the bulb and put on the diffusion cover.

And then you're already halfway there.

The other half is the stand.

The first thing I noticed was that although it's solid, it does feels a bit flimsy.

But I can't say I'm surprised.

It's made for a studio setup.

Not big budget films where it's going to get thrown around.

Since it's probably never going to leave my apartment, it should hold up okay.

And it has so far.

Now let's talk about how well it will light up a subject.

Alright so for this example, it was about 4:15pm with no lights on- only what's coming

through the window.

Notice how dark everything looks.

Notice all the shadows.

The dark areas just have a general muddiness to them.

To get rid of this, all we need is more light.

This is with one light on,

And this is with two.

A huge difference!

Obviously much brighter, much more even, and just a crisper image overall.

Notice how faint the shadows are now.

Let's look at another example: To give you a better idea of what the soft box is doing

to shadows, take a look at the wall here.

This is with the front cover off.

On.

You can see just how much it softens them.

That's why these are great for portraits, too.

As you can see, soft boxes get the job done.

If you're looking for an easy way to add extra light to your shots, and you don't

need anything super dramatic or complicated, that's where these come in handy.

So what could be better?

I'd love it if it came with a nice carrying case for everything.

Right now I just throw it all in my closet.

And as I already said, I'd love if the stands were a little sturdier.

But for a $100 dollar product, I might be asking for too much.

I'm really happy with these lights.

For what you get, for their simplicity, for the quality bump in my videos, I'd highly

recommend these lights.

So that's all for me today.

I hope you learned something.

Hope you find some lights that fit your needs.

If you have any questions about this light, throw em down in the comments below.

I'll see you later.

QiYi QiZheng S 5x5 Review (WUSHUANG KILLER?) [4K] | SpeedCubeShop - Duration: 2:20.

qiyi had one of the best 5x5s last summer and this summer they are back but at almost

a third of the original's price how do they compare.

So here is my review and comparison of the QiZheng S from QiYi

hey, I'm cubing on my mind and if this is your first time on my channel I make alg videos,

walkthroughs and reviews just like this one so make sure to hit that subscribe button

so you don't miss anything.

the basics are its 62mm making the QiZheng smaller than my 4x4, it priced at just $9

on speedcubeshop and only comes in stickerless.

the shades are budget cube feeling but without the normal pink it has a red but with still

a hint of pink a lighter blue but everything else is the same but the green and blue lack

contrast.

the plastic has the same frosted feeling that the edges of the last one had but it's on

the inside and outside of it, as far as performance goes it's fast and very

swishy corner cutting is sub-par to the wushuang but corner cutting isn't everything it can

cut a little more than a piece whereas the wushuang can cut almost 45 but the QiZheng

flows so much better,

it has as great yet somewhat cheap feel to it but it's oddly satisfying to solve it's

kind of scratchy but still very smooth if you want to see how I set it up let me know

by hitting the like button. and ill drop it sometime soon.

there is not much of a difference in the pics but with simplified edges and redesigned corners.

one of the really annoying things about the original was the corner and the center edge

piece catching on each other this time around they've to improve on it which was nice to

see, it's not entirely fixed though.

Pros: good corner cutting, great feel, and an unbeatable price

Cons: you get what you pay for the plastic is a bit slippery

overall this cube is great and if you have the wushuang and want to know if you should

upgrade just do it, its personal preference but I think it's worth looking in to because

it's only $9 and for a first 5X5 it's a must-have, if you want to get it is linked in the discretion

make sure to hit that subscribe and check out some other videos and thanks for watching.

Made in Abyss - Aaox's Anime Review - Duration: 11:47.

a few months back a friend of mine suggested that I watch the first episode of the obnoxiously long 20 questions asked titled

Shuumatsu Nani Shitemasu ka? Isogashii desu ka? Sukutte Moratte Ii desu ka?

Which translates roughly to:

"Wouldn't it be crazy sad if all these kids died", whose attempt to thrust it's imperiled children and obvious tragedy down my throat

was cut off by me going

"Actually, I watched Black Bullet back in 2014, so I think I'm good"

It came as no big

surprise, then, when, one season later, that same dumb friend walked up and said I should watch this hot new show

about bondage fetishist 12 year olds in perilous situations because it was very good, so I did what any good friend would do:

I generously pointed out that the structure of that sentence was rather suspect

and could get him in a lot of trouble if he set it in the wrong company,

and then I called the police and had him arrested.

I'll be the first to say I'm a bit of a petty sort, so when a friend moon walks up and says

that they really like any given thing, I take that more as a challenge than a recommendation

So I went into episode one trying to find all the things I could criticize to prove that I was very smart and clever,

Because my self perception as a critic is basically all I have.

It was very striking, then, that about five minutes into the first episode

I was feeling that same feeling I got when I watched Kekkai Sensen

for the first time - that little buzz of "oh, this might actually be really special."

Hey, I'm Aaox! Do you like seeing children

experiencing immeasurable suffering and pain whilst confronting the grim spectre of the inevitability of death at every turn?

Of course you do!

You know who else does? Kinema Citrus, as showcased with the aforementioned Black Bullet, and their latest kiddie cruncher, Made in Abyss.

What a horrible bit this is.

Made in Abyss takes place in and around a great big hole in the ground,

the titular abyss, and explores the idea that people will do anything

If it's appropriately dangerous. A whole economy has built up around the abyss and its

exploration, and a caste of explorers, called Cave Raiders,

Frequently head into the hole to explore the space, get silly, and just have some fun with it, you know?

Precluding the get-rich-quick schemes, it turns out that the abyss is actually a horribly dangerous place

Being a vertical shaft at least as deep as 45 Empire State Building stacked on top of one another because it can't ever be easy, can it.

To compound the danger,

It's permeated with something called the curse of the abyss that causes severe

complications to one's health if one attempts to ascend, with the effects becoming more pronounced the deeper one goes.

It's also full of terrifyingly dangerous monsters that can basically see the future. Only complete idiots would think about going down.

Oh, hey Riko, didn't see you there.

Riko's a young cave Raider who receives a letter from her mother from the bottom of the abyss, and everyone is very shocked

which seems a bit strange until one learns that no one's ever gotten to the end of the abyss, and her mother was supposed to have died

years ago in a page taken right out of James Sunderland's diary. The letter carries with it a note

that simply says "I'm waiting at the bottom of the abyss,"

and so, naturally, Riko, a 12 year old, heads off on a suicide mission one that would surely fail if she hadn't recently found the *frustrated sigh*

amnesiac, *excited murmuring* robot, Quote, from Cave Story, I mean, Reg.

From Cave Story.

Armed - Eh? - Armed with her robot boy, Riko and Reg set off on their one-way trip, and thus we have the thrust of the matter.

She'll be fine though, because she's got a magical compass that points to the bottom of the Abyss. I mean it's not -

Why do I need a compass the points in the direction of the abyss? You'd think you could just point at the giant hole -

- I mean, well, at least they have it. That's something -

Oh for God's sake - There's an eminent air of mystery and strangeness to the proceedings.

That's extraordinarily disquieting. Despite evidence to the contrary Riko completely believes her mother must be alive, and immediately sets out on the suicide trip

into a literal hellhole, running away from her friends, her home, and any hope of living a life that doesn't involve dying in a big pit.

It feels almost like the abyss has made everyone go insane already. People are drawn to it, Riko especially,

and they willingly and happily throw their lives away just for the sake of seeing what's down there,

even knowing that at a certain point you just

literally cannot come back.

It's a realistic enough emotion, certainly, doing something stupid because it's there. People climb Everest,

vacation in Cambodia and browse the NTR tag for reasons not dissimilar to these,

but for thistwelve-year-old to be embarking on a

suicide mission and to have a bunch of adults just roll their eyes and go "oh, that Riko,

what can you do," despite it being a twelve-year-old basically marching to her death is

absolutely jarring, which I'm pretty sure is exactly the point.

This is a world where in children find skeletons on a daily basis and eat

monsters that eat humans without batting an eye because that's just how their world is, meaning amnesiac stranger Reg gets to act as our

convenient viewer insert straight man who grounds our perception of the world so we can remain aware that this whole situation has

transcended just being disquieting and entered full-on macabre.

It's not weird that Reg finds a skeleton to be a frightening, disconcerting discovery,

It's weird that Riko doesn't. She's 12.

The added irony of the robot acting the most like a human in the entire story gives it a little extra edge -

Especially when we reach some of the more monstrous inhabitants like fashion queen Ozen, or the absolutely just straight-up

obvious Nazi Germany analog effectively

100% Joseph Mengele wearing armor from Destiny whose name is Bondrewd. The normal people acting normally in abnormal

situations shtick is always really striking and almost frightening in an interesting way -

I think a lot of Kemono Friends' intrigue and appeal hangs on this as well - of having people who shouldn't be where they are

treating a strange bizarre world like it's completely normal

gives you that little sense of

"hold on, hang on a second, where's *this* rondo going?"

And it's a very effective set up for a show that'll grab ahold of you and not let go until it's squeezed you to near death.

Seriously, it's been like a month since I watched the most visceral episode, and I cannot unclench.

The throughlines for each series of episodes are depicted in sort of Bebop-esque vignettes that detail Riko and Reg's

adventures in each of the layers

culminating in the descent to the fifth, which puts us at about three episodes per layer.

Whilst meandering around trying to think of things to say about the show that would make me feel smart, I ended up choosing the word "mechanical"

in reference to the show's pretty straightforward plot progression.

As the gruesome twosome descend further into the abyss, they meet a person or group of people, learn to like them a lot,

and then say a tearful goodbye to them

as they go deeper down into the progressively less pleasant, more dangerous layers

going further and further away not only from civilisation, but also all of their friends

There are a lot of allusions present in the narrative:

as I said before there's some pretty obvious Auschwitz imagery in there with Bondrewd and his train full of children to experiment on

but there's also the idea of being trapped in your body,

euthanasia, and terminal sickness with the character of Mitty;

addiction in the ways people just can't leave the abyss alone

and of course the regular old inevitability of death with the abyss itself;

this isn't a show that dabbles in light themes.

I can't say that this is a show that handles all of the myriad plates it's spinning flawlessly;

sometimes the hard shifts to high drama or comedic levity can feel a bit *too* jarring

but it never really felt like it was bending over backwards to force those themes on me

nor did it feel like it was utilizing them for shock value

which is impressive when you're doing a Josef Mengele impression with one hand

and throwing a dead child into the air with the other.

Pulling that off with dramatic consistency

whilst avoiding feeling gratuitous is something absolutely worth commending.

Made in China is an eminently gripping piece of media, then

but the first of the clammy, grasping digits to wrap around your shivering, terrified form

is almost certainly going to be how utterly beautiful the show looks,

which came as a distinct surprise to me.

An anime about kids going on a big adventure into a cave

was something that conjured images of dark, dim

corridors bored into rock

which there certainly is some of

but the grand majority of Abyss' runtime

looks like it's taking place in a national park rather than the anus of the earth

which is especially odd considering there's a lot of analogues to old Dante's Infernum.

Comparisons to Studio Ghibli were frequent while I was watching the show so it should be no surprise that the art's director is none other

than Osamu Masuyama, notable for being behind the background art of Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle,

Ponyo, and more recently the phenomenal Your Name,

and the artistry shows.

There's a lot of words I could use to describe the watercolor, painterly, soft,

varied and vivid work on display here, but since those are at a premium,

I'll just call it breathtaking.

the second thing that hits you

- at least, it hit me second -

is the sound design.

Kevin Penkin puts on an absolute clinic over here as far as the OST is concerned, with the ethereal, filmic score

lending itself perfectly to the goings-on inside that dang old hole on the ground.

Riko is extremely excited to go on this adventure

but she also doesn't expect to come back from it

and the music manages to capture these two polemic feelings so marvelously.

The track "Remembering Home" especially,

whilst not being as profound a hitter as the majestic "Hanazeve Caradhina,"

clearly emulates a funeral dirge and it manages to convey that sense of wistful longing in the drawn-out violin

with the knowledge you can't go back again in the mournful piano

And it just works so extremely well.

The levity of the lighter moments and the gravity of the darker ones twist around each other through the score

and it's a sublime set of work.

Perhaps even more impressive than the stellar music though is how amazing the sound effects are.

It feels like nearly everything today draws from the same pool of 15 or so sound effects

so when Rico dipped a spoon into a bowl and

it sounded like someone had dipped a spoon into a bowl in real life right next to my head

it was actually so realistic it was jarring

like if a real, actual live action human

just walked onto the screen.

As I said before, there are parts of this show that I just went into full-on shock from

because this is not a show about kids that wears kids gloves.

Brutal, nasty things happen down in that hole

and Abyss doesn't flinch from showing it,

even if you yourself do.

There's a certain point later on that was so completely horrifying that I felt like I was choking watching it,

and the conversation with the friends I was watching it with devolved into sharp inhalations of breaths and various strained noises like:

Again, it doesn't pull its punches

but the grotesqueries on display here are presented

much like the fanservice, if you can call it that:

it's just a fact of life down there.

It's never presented with fanfare, or a dramatic camera zoom in.

that said, it would be remiss of me not to advise you to proceed with caution.

The melancholy, traumatizing an artistry abyss presents

can be absolutely captivating.

And it's a testament to the skill inherent of the staff at Kinema Citrus that they managed to swing this one so impressively.

Even if it ends on a cliffhanger that, whilst suitably climactic,

does demand a second season.

It's not that often that I show devoid of a conclusion ends so conclusively,

and this is without question one of the strongest finales I've seen in the medium.

It could probably beat up my dad.

So yeah, watch Made in Abyss.

It's definitely not for everyone - those with weak constitutions especially -

but I couldn't tear my eyes away from it

and as far as impact goes, Made in Abyss made a bigger one than anything I've seen recently.

So it turns out that Made in Abyss *was* actually pretty special, after all.
