that we are staying in Minas

for the weekend

and we are sharing our adventures here with you

and Verdún is one of them

The hotel Verdún

is located in

Minas city, in

Lavalleja region

It's less than 100km from the International Airport Carrasco

and 120km from Montevideo

The hotel has 29 rooms

of different styles

which are

The American style

with or without a kitchenette

The Special style

which is like a big studio apartment

with two large beds

and a settee bed

The Matrimonial style

where all the beds are Queen size

And one Suite where the bed is the largest

The hotel Verdún also has one apartment

with two rooms and a living room

this apartment has a view to the Roosevelt street

and to the swimming pool

In the morning we can enjoy the buffet breakfast

which has homemade food made in the hotel

There is a swimming pool

which is available to use from November until March

it's heated by solar panels

The project of the next year

is to start using the combustion system

to utilize the pool for the whole year.

There is also a salon with TV

and a children area

It comes with a mini-market

which provides varieties of products

available 24 hours a day
