The beauty about working with the Feds is that you can work in multiple states under

your local license.

With state contracts, most of them, you have to be licensed in that state.

So, you're pretty much limited to the state that you're in or any additional states that

you register in.

Yes, every state has its own website for state contracts.

Google "State of California Government Contracts" and make sure you find the one that's either

a dot-edu or it could be a dot-gov or it could be a dot-state.
