News on Youtube Dec 28 2018

Hi there. My name is Jenna Hollenstein and I want to tell you about my new book

it's called Eat to Love: A Mindful Guide to

Transforming Your Relationship with Food, Body, and Life and I wanted to share with

you today why I wrote it for you and for us. Recently I heard Michelle Obama

speaking about her new book Becoming and how she has sat at some of the most

powerful tables in the world and those people are just not that smart and

meanwhile I know so many brilliant, creative, compassionate, innovative women

who are paralyzed in some ways by feelings of inadequacy and the belief

that their bodies are problems that need to be fixed and so I wrote this book in

part to reassure you that there's nothing broken about you and that

becoming more confident and gaining trust in yourself and your body in your

judgment is not to be found out there but to be found in the body and so this

is really about changing your perspective, shifting your allegiance

back to your own intelligence in terms of your body, your heart, and your mind

so that you can clear out that mental real estate currently occupied by the

diet mentality and what I call magical eating so that you can

live a life of joy and connection and one that's aligned with your values. Also

selfishly in part I wrote this so that you could be freed up to be of benefit

to this world because the world needs you. We don't need more of these

unintelligent and yet not lacking in confidence people who are running the

world. We need more tender hearted, open-hearted,

compassionate warriors and so I offer this book to you and I offer you the

opportunity to go on a journey and really transform how you feel about and

how you view your body and your relationship with food. So I'm looking

forward to sharing this with you. It comes out on January 15th, 2019 and I'm

very excited about it and I hope that you will enjoy it. Thanks.

What is the Working Relationship Between an Actor and an Agent? - Duration: 1:08.

So I guess once an actor has come on board with any agency,

I'll use Ignite for an example because that's what I know, we determine their

career path. If they have absolutely no experience, we'll try and get them some

background work so they can learn the jargon on set, so they feel comfortable

when they do actually go to an audition. We offer some free workshops,

and then there's bigger paid workshops out there as well that you can work with the

casting director and they'll teach you how to audition. So it depends on the agency.

Everyone's different, but we really focus on the education because

the more you learn, the more prepared you are and the more comfortable you are going

into it. So we try and build a career path or make a roadmap for their careers.

So we would start definitely with background while you're taking

some schooling. Schooling is very important, education's important not only

because you'll learn the ins and outs, but you're learning from actors that

are well-seasoned, so they can tell you the goods and the bads and it can

fast-track your career. Yeah, a road map for success is

really important. I know that sounds cliche, but I really think it is,

for any profession, especially actors because there's such a vast array

of things that you can do.
