Microsoft Surface Wireless Keyboard Review - Duration: 3:14.hey what's going on guys so today we're looking at the Microsoft Surface
wireless keyboard and I give you everything you need to know to decide if
it's the Bluetooth keyboard of your dreams so here we go. So first of all I
want to welcome everybody back and if this is your first time to the channel
then welcome, you've come to the right place for great tech reviews and
tutorials so the decision of what keyboard to use is a very personal thing and
one of the draws of a wireless keyboard is the aesthetics you don't have that
wire running so it looks great on the desktop and that's one place that the
Microsoft Surface wireless keyboard does not disappoint is in the looks on pretty
much any workstation. So the keyboard sports bluetooth 4.0 or 4.1 LE with a
range of up to about 50 feet in addition the design is simply beautiful with the
two-tone grey and silver look, it looks great with almost any setup it's
extremely thin and compact without sacrificing key spacing the key spacing
and travel are just fantastic there are those that hate the chiclet
style keyboard and I get it but this Microsoft Bluetooth keyboard really
really pulls it off well I find the angle on the keyboard to be really
really comfortable and the travel on the keys is just the right amount it's a joy
to type on for long typing sessions. So I probably don't even need to bring this
up because you're not gonna get this keyboard for this purpose but gaming
does not work with this keyboard I tried it with battlefield 1 and I was getting
all kind of key lock ups where I would be running forward or strafing left and
right and the key would just lock and keep me going that direction I had
double tap the key again to free that up. That may be a common problem with
wireless keyboards in games, I'm not sure, but definitely with this Microsoft Surface Wireless keyboard I was
having that problem so if we gaming is a big part of what you do don't get this
keyboard in the box you get everything you need to get going you get the
WS2-00025 keyboard itself to triple-a batteries and the manuals. Flipping the
keyboard over you get access to the battery tray that's underneath a
magnetic cover so it's real easy to slide off slap your batteries in there
and then just snap it back on it snaps right into place magnetically it's
really nice. According to the official compatibility list on the Microsoft web
site this keyboard works with Windows 10 8.1 and 8 Windows 10 phone Mac OS
10.10.5 and 10.11.1 through 10.11.4, Android 4.4.2
through Android 5. In addition I've also tested the keyboard in Linux iOS and
Android 7.1.1 and I didn't have any problems at all in any of those
operating systems. Wireless Bluetooth keyboards are not for everybody but if
you're in the market for one I would say this is definitely one worth checking out at
the time of this review it's about $99 U.S.. So what do you guys think of this
keyboard and just Bluetooth keyboards in general? Are you more of a Bluetooth
keyboard or a wired keyboard kind of person? Go ahead and leave a
comment below I'm really curious what most of the people use it'll help guide
some of my future reviews and if you guys like reviews like this and tech
tutorials, if you haven't subscribed already please hit the subscribe button
and then hit the bell that'll let you know when I put up a new video. If you've
already subscribed thank you so much it's great to have you back if this is
your first time it's been nice having you here thanks for stopping by the

Why ISRO'S IRNSS Satellite Launch FIailed - A Shor Review - Duration: 1:52.Indian Space Research Organisation (Isro)'s attempt to augment the country's indigenous
navigation services became unsuccessful as the heat shield of the PSLV rocket did not
open, although the IRNSS-1H satellite reached sub-geosynchronous transfer orbit on Thursday.
The PSLV-C39 took the satellite to orbit but the heat shield tip or the rocket inside which
the satellite is housed did not open.
It was scheduled to open 3 minutes and 23 seconds into the flight of the rocket.
ISRO chairman Kiran Kumar said, "the mission was unsuccessful.
All stages of the mission performed well.
But there was a mishap.
The satellite is still inside the fourth stage.
The heat shield did not separate, as a result the satellite is enclosed in the body of the
fourth stage.
So, the mission is unsuccessful.
We have to check heat shield separation command and whatever happened subsequently and it
will be analysed."
He also said that "we could see the satellite circling along the orbit along with the heat
shield."
It's very unhappy moment for ISRO because pslv is considered to be one of the most successful
launch vehicle because the last time PSLV launch vehicle failed is in 1993.

Kingsman : The Golden Circle Trailer Review - Duration: 5:05.Hey guys welcome to our channel cinePhilia. So today we are going to review another movie trailer
Do you remember the movie Kingsman The Secret Service?
I'm sure you do it was a surprising
but solid hit when it arrived in
2014
the Adaptation of Mark Millar and Dave Gibbons comic book
introduced us to the titular group of super spies and Colin Firths bad ass secret agent and now it's coming back with a
2017 Sequal Kingsman the Golden Circle
So hang back as today
We are going to review and Breakdown the trailer of the upcoming British movie Kingsman The Golden Circle
It is an action spy comedy film boasting another wisecracking asskicking all star cast in Taron Egerton
Colin Firth, Julianne Moore, Halle Berry, Jeff Bridges and no other than our favourite Channing Tatum
Let's have a quick look at the trailer now
In this scene the kingsman agents are trying to catch an assasin
but the assassin dies in the process
After examining his body they find out that the fingerprints of the assassin are removed and his body is mutilated all they have to recognize
is just a 24 carret golden tattoo on his neck. After doing some investigation
they finds out that he is a member of secret New World Order Organization called The Golden Circle
Poppy, a lifestyle guru turned terrorist mastermind and a global entrepreneur who clearly takes
immeasurable Glee in the World Domination
and also associated with the golden circle become aware that Kingsman secret service are close or already have figured out about their secret
organization maybe even their plans
consequently she tries to eliminate them by destroying their
Headquarters in London using an army of drones as Kingsman being the ultimate threat to their plan of making a new world order
But somehow using technology the Kingsman survives the attack, but their headquarters is completely destroyed
Now Eggsy, Merlin and Roxy finds out about their potential allies when they discover a Spy Organization in the United States
who are counterparts of the Kingsmen. In the unfolding of the events they unearth
that Harry the former Kingsman and Mentor of Eggsy, who was presumed dead after he was shot in the head in the first film of
the series is alive
Soon after this the Kingsman tracks the location of the statesmen
headquarters
Both of these groups of
super Spies had enmities in the past but for the sake of saving the world from the threat of the Golden Circle and
defeating poppy, they decide to put aside Whatever difference is they had in the past
We do really like the whole statesman group they have got up into the movie as they add a cast that is almost
perfect, and this is kind of a natural evolution to the first movie
Also, they are using all type of
old-fashioned weapons like Lassos and Handguns which brings in Cowboy like feel
Coming to the action sequence of the movie the Kingsmen 2 shows some really astonishing scenes and the kingsman's
High-Tech gadgets. Here audiences see some of the Kingsmen tech in action such as glasses
they serve as a
HUD providing information on whoever one is looking at
In one scene Eggsy's fighting Charlie in the Backseat during a high-speed car chase. During this struggle Eggsy's driver is killed and the taxi crashes
ejecting Charlie and making him loose his metal arm
The Chase continues with Eggsy on the run by himself
He eliminates his pursuers by firing a rocket that blows up three cars and makes his escape in the water and his car turns into a
submarine
it was a fun fast-paced action sequence to fully immerse people back in the world of Kingsman. The movie is a must watch as
It looks like to be better and bolder and funnier and crazier
So people that was our complete analysis and breakdown of the Kingsman 2 trailer. What do you think about it?

Book Review - Create or Hate by @TheDanNorris - Duration: 2:47.As Content Creators we often have a lot of decisions to make! What type of
content we should create should we go with video or audio or perhaps the
written word then we have to think about platform what's the perfect platform
should we use Facebook or Instagram or a podcast or YouTube if you find
yourself confused and having some of these same challenges I want to recommend a book
that I've read well this book was written by my friend and very successful
entrepreneur Dan Norris it's called create or hate successful
people make things it talks about imposter syndrome and also those outside
forces that are gnawing at us in the back of our mind telling us that we're
not good enough and that our content doesn't really matter or make a
difference I found the book extremely helpful also has a lot of fantastic
reviews over on Amazon but it definitely will help you sort out some of the
things that are going on in your head as well as external factors that might be
preventing you from creating Dan gave me permission to read a little excerpt from
the book so here we go we know that we're all creative that in each one of
us there's a creator someone who wants to use their head and their hands to
make the story better it's been that way since the dawn of civilization it's been
that way for you since you were a kid gleefully discovering the world and
learning by trial and error that you can impact it
a magical way but there's also a force called HATE which will work against your
creativity hate stops you from making things hate wasn't there at the start
it's been given power over the years and is now equipped with an arsenal of
weapons designed to stop your creative self from making things hate doesn't get
joy from stopping your creative efforts it just does its job yet hate can be
controlled managed and overpowered if you know how so that was just a little
taste of create or hate and to get your copy go to ileanesmith.com/createorhate

Learn English through story on Duolingo | Review (video in English, Eng Subtitles) - Duration: 10:28.Hello and welcome to Learn English with Jojo.
This is not going to be an English lesson, instead I am going to just show you a new
feature on Duolingo because it is only available for English speakers and I wanted to share
it with you because maybe you haven't heard of it yet; it's still pretty new.
And I think it's pretty cool, so I'm trying this format of video where I record my screen.
I'm tryin' new things here.
Okay.
Let's go.
Let's go to duolingo.com.
As you can see, I go all the time, so it's saved.
And then right now you can see my website is in French and I'm going to change that
to English because I want, right here, for it to say "labs" 'cause that's all the new
stuff that Duolingo's working on.
And they only do it for English because Duolingo is an American company and they do everything
in English first and then see if it works well.
So I'm gonna go to settings, which in French is "réglages" and then I'm gonna go to "langue
actuelle" which is the language you're learning and I'm gonna change my base language to....
uh.... well actually I have to change...
I have to "see all the current courses" because I need to change the base language and I'm
going to say I speak English, "anglais."
And then I'm going to try to learn Spanish because that is what I'm actually trying to
learn and then I'm going to go to that course.
And as you can see, this "labs" option just popped up, so I'm gonna go click on "labs."
And what I want to show you today is Duolingo Stories, although I've never seen Duolingo
Events, so maybe I'll do another video on that right after this.
But Duolingo Stories I've tried out before.
I've only done one story, but it's pretty cool: you go, as you can see here, you practice
a language through mini stories that challenge your reading and listening comprehension.
Get three stars in each to unlock the next set.
So I don't have three stars, oh, but it's letting me...
Ok.
Amiga imaginaria.
Ok, I think I understand this.
Daniel is going on the bus towards his house when a girl gets on the bus and sits down
next to him.
So I'm okay at Spanish, I know a little bit and I can guess a lot of words from French so...
How do you know my name?
How do you think Daniel feels when he hears his name.
So you have to answer multiple choice questions, it's kind of fun.
You... it's really testing your comprehension and it's pretty interactive in my opinion.
So... tranquilo, no.
hambriento, I don't know that word.
Confundido, that sounds a lot like "confused," so I'll pick that one 'cause I don't know
what cansado means.
I forgot.
I learned that word, but I don't remember.
Yeah I got it right.
Ok.
I'm Gabby.
And I know many things.
It sounds like a Game of Thrones, like an Aria from Game of Thrones.
Ah ok.
So I have to listen and rearrange.
I heard Como and it's capitalized.
Like that I know...
Like that your favorite color is blue.
How did you know that?
And that you love... peliculas I think is films.
Action films ok.
Yeah, but.
How is Toby?
How did you know the name of my dog?!
Ah I have to type in the missing phrase.
So I can relisten here but I think she said "tu comida... preferida?"
wait.
Favorita.
Oh and I can click and it tells me.
Okay that makes sense.
Were there any other words I missed?
No, I think I know all those words.
Okay, let's keep going.
Ok "tanto" is like "tant" in French.
Why aren't you answering my questions?
It's a little bit difficult to explain.
Ok you have to "bajar."
"bajar" is come with me?
Get off.
Ah, right okay.
Get off.
I'm not sure.
llegaste... oh maybe he arrived at his house? already? Okay.
Do you see how I'm learning as I'm going?
It's pretty fun.
When I don't know a word, I can click.
I don't know, I really love Duolingo in general and I think they're doing some great stuff
here.
It seems that your mom was waiting for you.
Yeah.
It was a good... green?
Ah to see you.
It was good to see you.
Conversacion.
I don't know what "tuvo" means.
He had.
Okay.
It was the name of your friend... of your imaginary friend when you were little.
See, these stories are also really well written, so it's...
I don't know it's kinda fun in my opinion.
What is... what did Daniel's mom mean?
She was sitting next to me.
Huh?
I am looking at you through the window?
I don't understand this phrase.
I wonder if they'll explain it.
Uh...
I think it's this last one.
Okay.
See I got three stars, ten out of ten correct.
How enjoyable was this story?
I thought it was pretty... pretty enjoyable.
Very enjoyable actually.
Ah what could we do better?
I think there was an expression near the end that I didn't understand.
It would be great to have a little explainer for that.
Otherwise it was great!
Yeah, "explainer" I guess isn't a real word, but it's a word we use in English now.
It's something that explains things.
Okay, so I got three stars and uh yeah that's it.
So I hope you enjoyed this video, in my little walk-through of the new Duolingo Stories.
If you have tried it and you think it is not good, because I think it's really good, if
you have a different opinion or if you agree with me, I'd love to hear from you.
You can try it at home, even if you're not a native English speaker.
You can try it with English as your base language, even if you're not so great at English, I
bet you can understand.
That's just another reason why learning English is great, because a lot of tech companies
are based in the United States, so a lot of apps that you download will not have translations
so it's great to know English and you can try some technology before everyone else.
But I'm not saying English is necessary in the world, I just think it can be helpful.
Um... yeah have a great day.
Bye.

Daredevil #24 Review - Duration: 2:50.Written by Charles Soule Penciled by Alec Morgan
Matt Murdoch sits in the DA's office.
Fresh off of a loss, his boss is clearly irritated he allowed him to put a vigilante like Daredevil
on the stand.
Matt still sees a chance to win... appealing it all the way to the top but as the DA says
- he's running out of friends.
Meanwhile in Midtown, Wilson Fisk congratulates his lawyer on defeating Murdoch though he
obviously has a hard time taking the compliment..
He goes to leave but the Kingpin reminds him - if Murdock appeals, it isn't over.
His assistant walks in and Fisk makes sure that plan B is still in place should the system
fail him.
In Hells Kitchen, Foggy Nelson walks a date into a dive bar.
Everything's going great until a certain ex-best friend walks up.
Knowing he'd probably be at a dive a few locks from his place, Matt asks him about the Slugansky
trial and Foggy tells him he's a laughing stock.
He tells him he's taking it all the way to the Supreme Court and asks if Foggy would
help write the appeal.
Foggy reminds him with the Purple children, he got a chance to reset.
Well - Foggy reset too.
Suddenly Tombstone walks in.
Matt Murdock is in trouble.
And this time there's no She-Hulk to get him out of it.
Matt dumps water on a newspaper and throws it on the hot dog grill.
As smoke fills the air, Tombstone gets hit in the face with a bottle.
Under the cover of smoke, an unmasked Daredevil pelts the bad guys with pool balls and beats
Tombstone with a pool cue until the cops show and they scatter.
Foggy asks him if Tombstone knows he's Daredevil and he says no.
It's a Matt Murdock thing..
Someone's afraid.
Matt goes on to stay how Daredevil is his own worst enemy and how he could really use
a friend more than anything.
Foggy asks why he should help him..
After all he's done.
Matt finally tells him.. it's because he's sorry.
For everything.
Foggy tells him it took him long enough.
But get ready.. because they're going to the Supreme Court.
And with that, we're left to be continued.
Another fantastic issue.
Only thing that suffers mightily here is the artwork.
I know Daredevil isn't a big seller but with the writing that's being put into this, it
deserves better.
I was really digging the minimalist vibe Ron Garney worked with but most of the others
that have followed him have been pretenders.
Still, the story is enough to keep it on track.
I give it a 7/0.
If you like this video, there are hundreds more like it, spanning several current and
classic story arcs.

Game of Thrones Season 7 Episode 7 Review Part 2 - Duration: 9:36.Hello everyone.
I am sorry I couldn't post my reviews as soon as I had hoped I would.
I have been sick for the past few days.
Thank you for your good wishes.
I feel a little better now.
And since it's my birthday, I wanted to post this video today.
I've already discussed Sansa, Theon & the Night King's storyline in my part 1 review
video.
In this video, I'll discuss the Dragonpit Summit, Jon and Dany & Rhaegar & Lyanna scenes.
I'll also post my season 8 Predictions and Episode 6 Q&A video soon.

So, the unsullied and the Dothraki did station themselves outside the walls of King's Landing,
but it looks like I was wrong about the fleet.
Those ships belonged to Euron, where as these 5 ships were Danys.
I think I've already said this before that this episode was my favourite episode of this
season.
I enjoyed every single moment of it, even the walk to the Dragonpit and the small conversations
between the characters.
Did you notice how The Hound smiled when Brienne told him about Arya?
He freaking smiled, like he was proud of her.
I wonder what he would say when he actually sees Arya in a fight.
What do you think he will say to that?
Anyways, I also loved how they provided a quick background of Dragonpit.
How it was once home to Balerion the Black Dread, Vhagar and Maraxas.
Dany was right about one thing.
The Dragonpit was the beginning of the end for the Targaryen Dynasty.
Once they locked the dragons away, the dragons grew smaller and eventually stopped hatching.
People only followed the Targaryens because of their dragons.
Without the dragons, they weren't as fearsome anymore.
Dany arrives later than everyone else.
Her arrival was so dramatic.
I hope people won't change her name from "The Dragon Queen" to "The Drama Queen"..
Haha..
One thing that really annoys me is that there is no harness to keep Dany in place when she
rides Drogon.
In episode 4, when Bronn's scorpion bolt has hit Drogon, he had been upside down for
a minute and Dany still didn't fall off.
Nope, I don't think I remember Dany being bit by a spider.
Do you?
I wonder how she got such sticky hands?
Even Daemon, Rhaenyera, Aemond Targaryen etc. had harnesses for their dragons during the
Dance of Dragons.
BTW, did you notice how Drogon lowers his shoulder to the ground so Dany could get down.
That's so sweet.
When Dany arrived at the Dragonpit and Euron stood up, I literally freaked out.
My heart went into panic mode for a second, and I had to remind myself that he doesn't
has Dragonbinder in the show, and he can't hurt Drogon.
I had to keep repeating that this is not the book Euron, who is the scariest character
in the whole series.
He is even more scary than Ramsay.
The look Tyrion gave Jaime when Euron interrupted him was amazing.
They are about to start a serious meeting, and Euron goes off like this.
In fact I liked all the looks that were passed during this summit.
The looks between Cersei, Jaime & Brienne, or between Theon and Euron, or Cersei and
Tyrion, or Dany and Tyrion, or between Theon and Tyrion after Euron interrupted him.
These looks said so much without even saying a single word.
Otherwise, they would have needed a whole new episode, just to show all of their conversations.
And no matter what he says, Jaime still loves Tyrion.
The second Euron indirectly threatened Tyrion by saying we kill your kind at birth, Jaime
yells at him to sit down.
And did you see how happy Qyburn was when he saw the wight's hand moving on its own.
It was like he just found a new toy, and was like how can I use it my own toys like this.
He has resurrected the Mountain, but thanks to his armor, we don't know how much similar
he is to the wights.
If he is cut in half, will he live or will he die.
I guess if we get the Cleganebowl in season 8, we will find out.
Cersei was probably afraid of the wight when she saw it at first, but later, she used that
fear to manipulate Tyrion.
Or maybe she wasn't afraid, but Cersei was able to manipulate Tyrion.
Again.
At first, I was so mad that Cersei is able to outsmart Tyrion, but then I thought about
it.
I thought really hard about what Tyrion is doing wrong.
They've always played the game like equals before, in fact Tyrion had been better at
it.
So why is he losing to her now?
And then it came to me.
The reason Cersei is able to outsmart Tyrion is because he doesn't know Cersei anymore.
He is making his decisions based on the old Cersei, who still had some humanity or some
love left in her.
But now, Cersei has changed.
She will go to lengths the old Cersei probably wouldn't even think of.
And as the book Jon and LF have said before, you need to know your enemies to defeat them.
Tyrion might not know her that well now.
Hell, I don't think even Jaime knows her anymore, but Cersei knows Tyrion all too well.
Cersei knew that she couldn't hurt even one hair on Dany or Tyrion's pretty heads
while they are in King's Landing.
If she tried, King's Landing would burn.
If she met Dany in an open field, they will lose a lot of soldiers, as demonstrated by
Dany in the Spoils of War episode.
So she decided to do what she thinks Tywin would have done.
She thinks that she can trick them by sending them away by promising to fight beside them,
and then when they will fight the WWs thinking that Cersei will back them up, her army won't
show up.
All her enemies will die, and she won't even have to lift a finger for it.
That's why she didn't put her hand on her stomach in the dragonpit.
She only did so in front of Tyrion because she wanted him to know that she is pregnant.
She knew Tyrion will believe that Cersei would agree for the truce to save her baby.
But I still have doubts about her pregnancy.
When the wight attacked her, if she really was pregnant, and was scared out of her mind,
her first instinct would have been to protect her stomach because a mother's first instinct
is to always protect her child first.
That's why I don't think Cersei really is pregnant.
I think she used it to control Jaime.
She also said maybe Euron has the right idea, I can totally see her getting on a boat with
Euron and running away to an island to wait out the Winter.
Of course, that's where Sansa might come in.
She knows Cersei well enough and she is not her brother.
Maybe she wil be able to see through her lies when Tyrion can't.
LF's training will come in handy here.
In the Dragonpit, Jon kills the wight with the dragonglass, but in the books, when a
wight named Small Paul comes after Sam and Gilly, Sam uses the dragonglass but it doesn't
do anything to Paul because of his armor.
Whereas the dragonglass can kill a whitewalker despite armor.
I guess it gives the show an easy way out of a complicated situation.
Jon has a lot of Dragonglass now.
Maybe he can build a Dragonglass weapon to take out Wight Viserion.
If Euron had pretended to be scared of the wight and left immediately, then when exactly
did he get the time to hatch a secret plan with Cersei about the Golden Company?
It implies that Cersei knew in advance that they were bringing in a wight.
She didn't really look as surprised or even scared as I had expected.
Although, that maybe because of the fact that she has her own personal zombie as her guard.
Cersei very cleverly asked Jon to extend the truce calling him "Ned Stark's son"
and not just Jon or the King In the North.
She knew Jon will not lie to her if she used Ned, he will not dishonour his memory by lying,
and I had a feeling that she also knew what was going on between Jon & Dany.
She jut used it as an excuse to pull back.
So, unless Qyburn is a seer too, I would stick by my theory that Dany has a mole in her army.
Like I have said again & again in my videos before, I still think it might be Varys or
Missendei.
My bet is on Varys.
Who do you think will betray Dany?

All Youtube Alternatives Are Horrible | Vidme, Bitchute, Minds, review - Duration: 13:07.It's hard to make a Youtube alternative that will sustain itself and capture some
percentage points of video hosting market share, when not even Youtube is a profitable
platform.
Should any Youtube alternative succeed, it ought to give people a strong motivation to
stop using the second most visited website, second largest search engine, most profitable
digital marketing platform, and most open video sharing service in the world.
An alternative to Youtube is going need to offer something that has a such value to people
that Youtube will not be able to deliver it without fundamentally restructuring or dismantling
their current business model.
It can't be somewhat better than Youtube.
It must be an absolute punch in the face of the Youtube's company for neglecting to
satisfy some essential market demands.
Is any of the proposed Youtube alternatives delivering on this promise?
My view is they all fall behind for a similar reason – they fail to give people enough
motivation to use their service.
Some of them just don't understand market demands, or just focus on a different service
than what Youtube does.
Others act as if they wanted to maintain their hipster position and remain alternatives forever
instead of taking a chunk of mainstream networks' share.
Let's get vimeo out of the way real quick.
Vimeo has been around as long as Youtube and is a name that is perhaps equally as known
as Youtube.
It has only one problem.
Vimeo is nowhere near a Youtube alternative.
Look at these offerings.
What is up with those upload limits?
I wouldn't even be able to upload my last video with a basic account.
Why should anyone bother to pay for uploading to Vimeo when they have tons of other platforms
to upload for free without any limit?
This is not a website where you can quickly share videos that everybody will be able to
watch.
This site operates on highly entrepreneurial level.
Nobody is going to pay 14 euros per month to upload gaming videos or social commentary.
Especially channels who are starting out.
Vimeo doesn't act as a search engine either.
It doesn't display its content in the same transparent way.
It's not a social media platform, which is what a proper Youtube alternative needs
to be.
It's a video sharing and hosting provider for professionals to earn money, businesses
to to do their business, and viewers to pay for quality content.
It's not made to interact with people from all walks of life.
Vimeo strictly doesn't display any ads over its videos.
The only revenue stream for content creators is if their viewers pay to watch.
Which means you'd have to have some strong motivation to pay for content and that's
not an option for unestablished creators.
If you are small or medium size content creator on Youtube, forget about Vimeo.
The two websites serve completely different purposes.
Vimeo has poor search engine optimization, terrible content suggestions, and only a fraction
of Youtube's traffic, which is a problem if you are not established and want to get
discovered.
Try searching for anything on vimeo.
What the hell is this?
I guess I want to watch this video…
Oh no I can't!
It's a paid one!
I wonder if it's worth it.
Let me see… waiting… still waiting… ok I am starting
to loose my patience here.
Argh screw it!
I give up!
Vimeo is not a community based service.
Vimeo was created by filmmakers to have a sleek platform for sharing videos.
Youtube was created by a bunch of 20-year olds to share videos of Janet Jackson's
side boob slip and earth disaster porn. And that says it all.
A proper Youtube alternative that's gonna be successful needs to be doing things Youtube
does right, and correct things Youtube does wrong.
It can't be opposite to Youtube.
It has to be a social network where people are able to connect easily without a steep
learning curve.
The hurdle of transferring from Youtube to another platform must be very low.
Because it's based on user-created web content, the platform essentially needs to be a search
engine with smart algorithms able to show results people are looking for.
It has to be possible to optimize the content for search engines and have them indexed in
search aggregates.
It can't be an isolated website people have to actively look for to find.
It needs to be easily found without even directly looking for it.
It can't expect action from the general public.
It has to give them a motivation in form of content they are looking for and innovation
at an offer they have been given yet.
Successful Youtube alternative is going to have to balance the relationship between creators,
advertisers, and its own platform.
It should allow creators to be driven by profit as well as values of their choice.
While at the same time, it has to customize the space according to individual viewers
needs so that they are able to have a circle of content they are interested in without
being flooded with content they'll never want to watch.
All of this has to be done while beating a multi-billion dollar centralized business
that has a well over a decade of experience, development, and established position.
So how is vid.me doing on this one?
Horribly, in my opinion.
The experience I get from using vid.me is so similar to what I was getting when I visited
vessel.com.
Do you remember vessel?
It was supposed to be the big new Youtube alternative that everybody was going to switch
to.
Well, it doesn't exist anymore.
It was sold to Satan.
I mean Verizon.
I foresee similar faith with vid.me.
I might be wrong so correct me in the comments if you think otherwise or have anything to
add.
But the site is basically just a clone of Youtube.
There's nothing that's better.
Many promises and desires about Youtube alternatives are that they fix the copyright abuse problem,
broken flagging system, totally unusable Youtube comment section, and won't actively take
down or demonetize channels or videos that conflict with the politics of Youtube and
its advertisers.
Vid.me doesn't guarantee any of that.
It doesn't even market it anything like it.
And what's a grave no-go for me is if I visit a video sharing website and I don't
see any videos on their home page.
What are you trying to be?
Do you just want to attract creators to upload their videos to your website and then you
want general users to not watch those videos on Youtube but actively look for them on vid.me?
It's understandable you need creators but vast majority of visits to your website will
be from people looking for content not creating one.
This so basic behavioral economics.
What are you doing?
Then there's minds.com.
A project I really love but a website I totally don't understand.
Especially its user interface.
It's not complicated.
It just doesn't make any sense.
It fails to explain itself easily.
You'd have to commit yourself to use it because you devote yourself to an ideal.
And even then it doesn't quite fit in my brain.
I like minds core ideas, but from UE and UI perspective – are they trying to be an alternative
to Facebook?
But they do call in a lot of Youtubers promising payoffs from various monetizing features – like
peer-to-peer support, paid subscriptions, donations, and they apparently want to make
an alternative to patreon.
Minds doesn't have any objective reasonable algorithm content creators could follow to
make their videos searchable.
Search engine optimization is completely absent, videos are viewed as posts, which makes it
impossible to search for them by merit, you can't add tags to your videos, if you share
your videos they'll get zero views unless you boost.
Boosting is basically just paying for views, but these are not views just mere displays
of your posts on other people's news feeds.
It's like paying for like farms in Bangladesh.
You'll get likes but no real engagement.
As a creator you don't want to be noticed.
You want to be discovered when other people search for stuff you made content for.
You are not a product to be advertised.
There are other cosmetic flaws that need fixing if minds wants more youtubers – the biggest
as mentioned is that there is no video list.
The channel's content is viewed as posts in feed and not list of videos on a channel
page.
Since uploads are treated as posts, there is no real description tab that would appear
underneath the video.
It creates a messy combination of Facebook and Youtube content layouts and they don't
really blend together very well.
Also if you upload directly to minds, it's not possible to add your custom thumbnails
to distinguish your videos, which significantly diminishes your channel branding.
To me minds is more of an alternative to Facebook and tries to make money by implementing monetization
models of Youtube and Patreon.
It's not horrible, but it's not all that intuitive and expected.
There should be a clear distinction between an ordinary user page layout, and channel
page layout.
Content creators should be allowed to adopt Youtube-like display page, while general users
could keep Facebook newsfeed.
The core message of minds is to be a social network that doesn't censor you and doesn't
track you.
Which is great, but who gives a damn?
Apparently not those 500 million people who upgraded to Windows 10.
And certainly not 90% of worldwide Internet citizens relying on Google to search for news
and pretty much everything else Google censors.
And absolutely definitely not those 2 billion Facebook monthly active users.
An alternative to Youtube that doesn't just want to remain an alternative in the corner
full of people lamenting how right they are about the masses of sheeple has to have a
kick ass user experience.
It has to blow everyone's mind away.
Minds.com certainly didn't blow my mind away.
LOL.
I must stop…
Another new video sharing platform is bitchute.
This one looks very promising.
It has just a tiny problem.
So tiny it's hard to see.
Oh there it is.
No views!
You can create a great project, with fantastic values hard coded in its core.
But it needs something additional that will pay the bills.
Something that draws everybody's attention.
Even if Pewdiepie announced his bitchute channel, he'd still get 7 views per video, because
people would be asked to sacrifice a little bit of convenience that they so sacredly don't
want to give up to migrate to a new website and subscribe there.
Bitchute would need to make some partnerships with established organizations and creators.
Maybe if some news outlet started posting their videos on bitchute and shared them with
their audience on their platform.
That would start to build some traction.
How much it is in their control to attract the kind of content that draws everyone in,
that I don't know.
But bitchute is doing something that certainly has a potential.
It's a completely decentralized network that doesn't look horrible and is actually
easy to use.
Bitchute is clearly an outcome of a brilliant human genius and maximum effort.
Bitchute trades as a peer-to-peer network based on a web browser version of bit torrent.
This means that the site's developers do not provide their own servers for hosting
the videos, but rather spread this costly burden to the network of torrent users seeding
file storage from their devices.
It works similarly to bitcoin blockhain network – in order for it to work, there is a group
of core developers maintaining the software side, and then seeders, like miners in bitcoin
making transactions possible, provide the lifeblood to the Bitchute network by making
it possible for users to upload and share videos, and just generally use the website.
Bitcoin blew cryptocurrency into a &150 billion dollar market asset class, even though it's
still far from becoming mainstream and the establishment hates it.
Decentralized service is just a better idea because it doesn't have a single point of
failure – like a centralized company or a regulatory body that make and break the
whole thing.
Bitchute currently doesn't serve its own search.
Any search will transfer you away from their website to DuckDuckGo's search engine, which
proxies results from Yahoo.
It is crucially important to see a thumbnail of a video.
Youtube heavily relies on it.
Videos wouldn't get nearly as discovered if they were offshoot of Google index pages.
You don't search for videos to read but to watch.
Bitchute certainly is an interesting project and it deserves to be given a chance.
Something to keep in mind though is that 30% of Youtubers make 90% of the website traffic.
If Bitchute wants to grow big, its bitchuters need to be big as well.
Popular creators will be able to generate more traffic and attract more profits, in
which way they will pull smaller ones and newcomers with them.
I think only that way the whole network will be able to grow and attract more new and small
content creators.
My whole take on this is that we'll probably never see a complete replacement of Google,
Youtube, and Facebook by ethical alternatives.
If they ever fall, it will be because the innovation will outpace them.
In which case these corporations will invest in such new innovations and will transfer
their business model to them.
Google is already preparing for this which is why Alphabet has acquired 160+ companies,
most of which have nothing to do with being a search engine.
Diversity is a necessity to sustain a free and strong middle class.
The economy is more stable if the free market is more open and spread across as many players
as possible.
We are living in a dangerous world where more and more wealth is accumulated and merged
within fewer and fewer boards of directors.
It's problematic because instead of serving millions of interests to millions of people,
only a handful of interests are met with satisfaction because their monopoly power is at such a
level that whatever their actions define the whole market.
So I would conclude that the free Internet needs more alternatives like bitchute and
less clones like vidme.
But they can't just be alternatives.
They must strive towards innovation.
Luckily for them, centralized monopolies are poised to kill more innovation than make,
so decentralized projects have an upper hand on this one.
But let me know – do you have any content creators you watch posting on one of these
alternatives?
And also which one do you think has the biggest potential to gain some percentage points?
If you engage in liking or commenting, my videos will be discovered by more people to
join the discussion.
So please do so and also feel free to share my work and subscribe for more coverage of
cyber Silmarillion in the next chapter.

THE HITMAN'S BODYGUARD - Review [SUB ITA] - Duration: 5:17.Hi guys it's Debbie and today I would like to speak about "The Hitman's
Bodyguard", a comedy-action film directed by Patrick Hughes and starring Ryan
Reynolds, Samuel L. Jackson, Salma Hayek and Gary Oldman. Ryan Reynolds portrays
Michael Bryce, a once very successful and highly requested personal bodyguard
but which unfortunately failed to protect one of his clients, resulting in
his death. So although his skills in the field of personal protection are still
exceptional, this negative event leads Bryce to end up living a miserable
existence as a sad, cheap, depressed bodyguard.
Samuel L. Jackson instead portrays convicted hitman Darius Kincaid. He's
considered one of the most dangerous man on earth because of his unreasonably high
body count and his unreal ability of getting out of any sticky situation.
Kincaid's wife Sonia is also in jail but she is offered the life-changing
opportunity of walking free if Kincaid agrees to testify against the ill-famed
dictator of Belarus. Kincaid's testimony is organised but things soon slip out
of control when this ruthless dictator sets his men on the hunt for Kincaid
before the trial can take place. And Kincaid ends up being protected by our
good old bodyguard, Michael Bryce. The two men end up in an insane journey across
various countries, getting into countless fights and escaping from very rough
situations. When I first saw the trailer for this film I wasn't interested in it
even on the slightest level. I expected it to be ridiculous and boring and I
thought it was just taking advantage of the "Ryan Reynolds as funny Deadpool
factor". Well I was wrong. Although it is after all just a simple summer
box-office hit, I found it very fun and entertaining and in particular I liked
the dialogues and the chemistry between the two main characters. Bryce
and Kincaid have completely opposite personalities, but they clash on the fact
of wanting to be the best when it comes down to fighting. Kincaid is definitely
more skilled in combat, he is older, he acts more instinctively, he has seen
more on the field but he appears more cold-hearted, claiming that being a
hitman doesn't necessarily equal to doing something wrong. Instead Bryce
always sticks to the protocol, to rules, he never strays away from the plan and
often criticises Kincaid for his cold heart. But throughout the journey, with
its ups and downs, both characters discover that they can learn something
from one another and they start to reflect upon their personal past and
their decisions. And after all the general idea of this plot is just that
of a very long journey with a series of "obstacles" along
the way, so we needed good dialogues, a good chemistry between the characters,
something which would keep us watching and laughing for two hours. And Ryan
Reynolds and Samuel L. Jackson definitely managed to convey on screen the eternal
bickering, fighting, discussion filled bond which forms between the two
characters, with many lines which I think were actually improvised, giving us the
feeling of watching two people, not two actors playing them. But the film also gave
us continuous references to Samuel L. Jackson's angry, menacing looking,
swearing, debatable, somewhat knowledgeable and thought-provoking
characters. For example Bryce often complains about how his protégée has
absolutely ruined the concept of a specific swear word he often says,
stripping it of all of its meaning. I also liked the character of Sonia,
Kincaid's wife. She's portrayed by Salma Hayek and is a dangerous, demanding,
arrogant felon which spends her time in jail acting as a queen, rudely
interacting with her guards and cellmates and insulting Kincaid for
letting her get behind bars. But we soon discover that deep down she has a
heart and she cares for her husband. I know there have been complaints about
the film being too simple and overflowing with action cliches, but I
believe one of the real goals of this film was actually that of embracing
every possible overused concept we have seen in the last 20-30 years of action
films and use it as a comedic device. We have characters jumping off rooftops
into dumpsters, highly unfeasible car chases, groan-worthy one-liners, huge
explosions billowing behind the character silhouettes, unlikely calm
phone calls during highly stressful situations, fist fights in bars in
central America and so many other familiar stunts. For example Bryce
calmly speaking about his client while a huge explosion packed attack is going
on behind his back, just for pure comedic effect and to wink at all the over
repetitive features we all know so well from comedy-action films. It's obviously
a film which knows its limits and doesn't aim at being a game-changing
masterpiece in the world of cinema. But if I could pick a feature to change, I
would cut the running time by 15... even 30 minutes. More than once it was nearly
on the edge of slipping and becoming boring, but
in the end it never did, it always then just managed to pull us back into the story.
Also if you're into action films and want to enjoy a good fistfight or car
chase this film is packed to the brim with punches, explosions, kevlar,
machine guns but differently from other comedy-action films it tries to not make
too much fun out of the violence. It doesn't portray the villain, the dictator,
as the baddie with evil plans, which just ends up making the audience laugh. Gary
Oldman as the dictator has a very short screen time but yet we had already
enough material to absolutely despise him and want our characters to make it
to the trial. So out of all the comedies which have been released this summer (and
I'm speaking of films like "Rough Night", "Snatched") "The Hitman's Bodyguard" is easily
one of the best ones. Let me know what you think about this film with a comment
here below. I hope you enjoyed this video, if you did make sure to subscribe for more
movie-related content. See you soon, bye!

Immortal Planet Review | Souls Like Isometric Action RPG - Duration: 22:52.Good mornin-afternoo-vening dear viewers and welcome to Immortal Planet.
A souls like action RPG built around challenging real-time tactical combat.
Let's start off this video by saying that I haven't played any of the Souls games
till now.
Mostly due to the fact that I simply couldn't run them till very recently.
So when I saw Immortal Planet's description it seemed to me that it might work as a great
introduction to the fledgling souls like subgenre of games, but with a more old-school and minimalistic
twist.
The indie comicbook-like art direction and isometric perspective acting as a great bridge
for someone oldschool such as myself to jump into this rather repetitive and grindy sort
of experience.
And those are some of the main characteristics that come to mind when I want to describing
Immortal Planet, even though they shouldn't necessarily be taken as bad things, but more
as part of the course.
The game revolves around tactical real time combat, with stamina management being the
main mechanic around which encounters are built.
You gain experience by killing foes, which you then lose upon death, which you can then
recover once you return to your dying spot.
Due to the intricacies of the story and setting, your character can return to the fray in a
Bioshock-like manner, but you need to make sure you get your lost experience back before
you die again, otherwise you'll lose it permanently.
Rest assured, you'll learn this on your own dime, and also learn to be vary wary of
where you can die safely, as weird as that sounds.
So the game is called Immortal Planet because it takes place on a planet inhabited by what
are now cyber-enhanced beings, made immortal by their ability to transfer consciousness
into identical bodies.
Or something of the sort, that's kind of as much as I managed to cobble up from the
few notes that I managed to gather throughout my playtime.
Not because I wasn't trying mind you, from what I can discern there is quite a nice and
peculiar world and story being told in the game, but discovering more information is
intrinsically linked to progressing through the various stages - which makes sense, however
progressing through the stages means dealing with the boss fights.
And that's where I encountered my main problem with the game.
Not the fights themselves mind you, I am aware of what Dark Souls-like games are, but more
around the large amounts of grinding that has to happen in order to upgrade your character
till he or it stands a fighting chance with each boss.
After exploring a stage - and they aren't larger than a few screens - you meet up with
a stage boss which at first will almost always get you killed...several times...many times.
At first due to you not knowing how exactly they attack and then it's all down to them
doing more damage to you faster than you can do damage to them.
Hence why you need to spend time, clearing the stage of enemies, over and over again,
in order to gather up the experience which you can then use to upgrade your stats.
Which in itself isn't that annoying of an endeavor, to be honest, but I just don't
have that type of patience for it anymore, might be an age thing or it might be a controller
thing because I had to play the game using my keyboard and mouse.
Even though the game suggests I play it with a controller.
Unfortunately Immortal Planet, much like Super Stone Legacy, does not support third-party
gamepad controllers, which means that it's either X-Box controller or GTFO.
My old and trusty Logitech is left to gather dust.
And I really think that keyboard and mouse controls are negatively influencing my gameplay
experience.
As a result of playing this game I have concluded that first of all - devz really need to work
on adding third party controller support to their games, in the cases where gameplay is
optimized for gamepad controllers.
One has to be aware that not all PC gamers have consoles or have had really a lot of
interest in getting a gamepad.
And even if they did - like myself - it's most likely not an X-Box controller.
The second thing is that I won't be jumping into any future game that does not support
third-party controllers.
And the third thing is that I need to look into getting an X-Box controller for the future
just to be safe.
So basically what I'm saying is that I think the game offers a much better gameplay experience
if you play it as it is meant to be played.
Since I cannot do that, I'm getting a bit of a warped impression of it.
But I have to say that despite my issues with it, it has made me way more interested in
checking out the actual Dark Souls games, so in this respect it worked perfectly as
sort of an entry-level experience towards the originators of the subgenre.
Oh and before I get on with a bit of gameplay commentary I would feel remiss if I didn't
talk about the soundtrack.
The really, really cool and atmospheric soundtrack.
There isn't a lot of it, since the game itself appears to be quite short, but what
we get is just the right amount of ominous and epic, wrapped into something of a darksynth
vibe, which totally works with the game world's story and design.
A great cyber-atmospheric package from Patryk Karwat - and I'm surely pronouncing that
wrong.
I'll make sure to link the soundtrack in the description.
Now let's talk a bit about the pricing, because I tend to not do that a lot, but I
wish to rectify it, since pricing comes greatly into play when considering which game to buy,
from the large number of options out there.
Immortal Planet can be found on Steam for 15 Euros, the latest Dark Souls game, Dark
Souls III is 60 Euros while the cheapest, Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition is 20.
So that right there makes Immortal Planet the most affordable option, much lower than
the entry cost to the first title in the Dark Souls series.
On the other hand, if you're still iffy about the pricing but also about diving into
the Souls games, then I wholeheartedly suggest you wait a bit for Immortal Planet to be on
sale and snatch it up then.
The game will be an absolute deal for a reduced price.
But enough talking, let's jump into some gameplay commentary and you'll get
to see the game in action.
