[Music]
You know, when I go in the office in the
morning, I still pinch myself.
It's an honour and a privilege to represent your country
in anything, but to have that and that responsibility,
you know, I take it very seriously.
All of the superstructure in politics is set up
you know, for men.
We're having to look at all of the things, the
systemic issues that have made it more difficult for
women to play a full, meaningful role.
Things are opening up for women, but we
haven't done enough yet, there's way more to do.
If we don't do a better job of
making everyone feel as if they're part of these
trade agreements, we won't be able to get them done.
Put yourself in the other person's shoes because if you
don't put yourself in their shoes,
you'll end up with a lousy deal.
