News on Youtube Dec 24 2017

hey guys so I have naturally wavy hair that sometimes gets quite frizzy in high

humidity I think wavy hair is really great and

pretty but I want the extra shine of straight hair so I've got a great new

product to try out this is the O'bella hairbrush straightener it's a hot air

brush ionic hair straightening brush that's anti sculpt and has an LCD

display in dual voltage O'bella says that this is a zero damage hair brush with anion and that is anti-static featuring an ion generator that produces hydrating

ions to help moisturize your hair the reason I don't straighten my hair more

is I'm afraid that it's going to get dry and damaged so it's really reassuring to

know that the brush is designed not to damage hair so let's take a look at what

comes in the box so what comes in the box is the hairbrush itself and a nice

user manual that goes over all these specs and how to use it what

temperatures there are now with this device once you press the power button

right here you have to hold it down for a couple seconds and the screen will

light will flash on there is a 40 second heat up time and it has a temperature

lock in the 60 minute auto shutoff this cord is actually very long it's 8.5 feet

and when the green light flashes it means that the ion generator emit

negative ions it has insulating silica gel and

anti-static teeth so that you don't have to worry about getting burned at all the

hair straightener brush comes with dual voltage a hundred to 240 watts or volts

eight setting temperatures or yeah eight setting temperature range from 310

Knight to 410 and the 360 degree rotating tail line here's where you can

see on the back the display you can see I am the brush is heated up and it's

heating up right now it's at 164 degrees now and I'm trying to get to 370 degrees

I just push until I'm at the degree and once this dagger brush works well with

even thick coarse curly hair this brush makes hair silky smooth frizz free and

with ionic technology so I'm going to turn this the instructions say that I

you need to work with dry hair don't come right out of the shower and use

this plug it in turn it off you can turn it on you have the button right here you

can hold it down for a little bit it's a hold for three seconds and then

adjust your desired temperature and that again ranges from 310 to 450 so I'm

going to try it out

all right so I am halfway done so you could tell the sign is straightened it's

very smooth and soft and then I'm going to tangle or

help this lion's mane over here

so I am complete I have done both sides and it was very simple and very easy to

use I am pleased with these results my hair is softer than using just a

standard flat iron it doesn't feel like I you know burned everything off it

doesn't smell like I lit a fire in my hair so this is what you would get if

you use this device to get some nice straight shiny

hair even softer hair no I'm happy about that so this is the O'bella hair brush

right here thanks for watching

Dimash - "Daybreak" review | dyskusja - Duration: 18:52.

Hello!

Welcome those who are for the first time, and those who come to me once again.

as I said last time, today I'm back to Singer

This is episode 8

And I think I must accelerate with these recordings

Because if 2017 was Dimash's year under the slogan "I'm Singer"

The year 2018 will be Dimash's year, but under the slogan of "the concert tour"

So I think Singer will go away a bit

Therefore, I will try to record new episodes ASAP

although it will be a bit sad for me to end up

because I really like Dimash's performances in this program

I do not know yet what I will do later, and I would like to continue my record

Episode 8, Chinese song, Dimash singing in Mandarin

Language challenge again

again the sad melody, very sad text

but I like Dimash the most in such a repertoire

nd I think it's not just me

I think that most of us prefer to listen to Dimash in this sad, emotional repertoire

that moves us to the depths of hearts

His voice and this how he interprets songs, how he communicates emotions

it fits best with sad, beautiful ballads

so I'm glad that he often chose such songs in this show

more often than entertainment, dance, happy songs

Daybreak or Day is Breaking

is a song by Han Hong, a very well-known singer in China

it is all the more moving because it was written by her under the influence of real story

In 1999, in the south-west China, there was a tragic accident

A cable car jumped up and fell from a height, there were people inside

Some of them died, some survived with injuries

There was also a young couple with their 2.5 year old son

who, in the face of this tragedy, kept the child up high

to cushion this fall

And they succeeded, the boy survived

Unfortunately they both died in this accident

Hong Han was shocked by the story

And she was so overwhelmed that she adopt the boy after a while.

He wrote the song two years later

and she tells the story of this day from the boy's perspective.

it was a beautiful day,

he remember the beautiful view, the faces of their parents' hands

their eyes

and suddenly everything falls, he hears a terrifying noise

parents go away leaving him alone in this world

so very sad and true story

but here we have the second meaning of these words

Han Hong herself also did not have a happy childhood

Her parents were known, father was a comedian, my mother a singer, actress

So they were always very busy

absent

moreover, her father died when she was 5 or 6 years old

He was on the way to show

And a mother a few years later met another man, she left with him and left her daughter in the care of grandmother

So Han Hong never really had parents, they were absent and they left quickly

so she sadly remembers her childhood

and she identifies with this longing of an orphan boy

she also feels this longing, although her story was a bit different

And Dimash must somehow face these emotions

and these are rather foreign to him

He grew up in a very happy family

in multigenerational home

where they lived together parents, grandparents, his siblings

they are in constant contact to this day

his parents support him very much

they also came to this show

They come to his concerts

So I think they are loving and harmonious family

But Dimash, as we already had the opportunity to see

despite her young age, she is very emotionally mature

and he can transmit these emotions even though he did not experience them

You mentioned to me once in the comments ...

that the arrangements in this program were also made by a musician from Kazakhstan, a friend of Dimash

I certainly know it

only unfortunately I do not remember everything that I would like to say

Erlan (Yerlan} Bekchurin (I hope I pronounce that right)

of course, these fantastic arrangements belong to him, which I always say and emphasize

and what's more important - this week, when the participants were preparing for performances

Dimash unfortunately fell ill

and it was an inflammation of the throat I think

or maybe something like what happened to me recently

and trust me, I couldn't speak

I've tried several times to record Daididau reaction

I started, I said two sentences, and unfortunately my voice broke

it's just that we're trying to get some sound, but we have absolutely no control over it

voice "fly" in a completely different direction and brings us a different sound than we would like to get

So I think there is nothing worse for a singer before the show rather than infection of the vocal cords

While this is a concert - you can postpone it

but here is the competition, live, so there is no such option

so the atmosphere was nervous

of course, they tried to heal Dimash and save him from oppression

just before the performance, one of the participants gave him a mysterious vial of liquid

I do not know what it was - maybe some Chinese mixture?

but it probably helped ;-)

ok, that's how the preparations looked like and this is the story of this song

let's see first how Han Hong sings

It was Han Hong

she sings beautifully and has this gift of very easy going from high to low tones

let's watch Dimash

As you can see he is already adored by the public

so lightly...

it was not very long track

I'm sorry, something got stuck in the middle, I have no idea what it was

Well, if that's how a man sings with a sore throat ...

so I don'tt know what to say

but this is all Dimash

even though his voice was not 100% efficient

he gave 200%

Han Hong sang it quite lightly, gently

Dimash sang so lightly only at the beginning

and then he was singing with great force

with his whole heart

This is so indescribable how much energy he puts into every song

skipping already all the technical qualities

and all (high) sounds and how did he even sing them in sickness?

it is hard to imagine

but he did it perfectly

I'm sure many of you have heard this performance from the Bastau concert

from Dimash's solo concert which was a few months later in Kazakhstan

and the fact is that performance is better than this (imho)

First - he sang a little differently, i like more version from Bastau

and maybe actually during the program he did not feel comfortable because of illness, so next performance is better because he was healthy

although I probably would not be able to tell if I just did not know about it (that he was sick)

simply, I'd think that he sang just differently

but maybe this disease has had an effect

there is also a studio recording of this song

also recorded during this show

and in my opinion it is also better

so you can listen to a Daybreak in those other versions

I did not want to "mix" anymore, I stick to this program, that's why I chose this version

As always, it was great to see the reaction of people who once again could understand what Dimash is singing

although apparently here the Mandarin was a bit worse

but it certainly was to be understood

the song is also very well known to everyone in China

so emotions were huge at the viewers and participants

Dimash sang beautifully ♥

He just sings with passion

with great affection

I think that he does not even choose songs in which he can not communicate so much emotion

so he chooses such songs and gives these emotions to us perfectly

it's a great feeling to listen and watch Dimash

You know, often when I watch other people react to Dimash's performances while singing

they are watching for the first time and they know nothing about the song or the lyrics

they often say that you do not need to understand the lyrics to feel these emotions

of course I agree with that, it's true

But if we know the words, and we know what the song is about

think these emotions are double then

you can experience the song and empathize with Dimash even more

So It is good to know

I always have such a need

Ok, that's all for today

Thank you very much, see you next time

And thank you very very very much for all your comments

there are so many of them !

But I try to read all and I will try to write back the most of you soon

Thank you again!

Kisses and see you!

bye bye bye

Korean CVS Review[ENG, 日本語 SUB][GS25]~Banana milk&Barbapapa mini pie - Duration: 5:03.

Hi guys~

It's Jane!

Oh yeah, I have a happy news today!

Well it's a happy news for me

FINALLY I'm done with my final

I'm so happy!!

Today I'm going to review some snacks I got from

GS25 (Korean CVS)

and the snacks are~

Ta daa~! These two!

If you take a closer look

This...

Do you guys know this character?

It's called Barbapapa

and it's popular both in Korea and Japan

I also like this character cuz it's cute!

and this is a Christmas-limited design

If you take a closer look,

isn't it so cuuuute?

I love it's adorable face!

so today, I'm going to review this Barbapapa mini pie

and this banana milk with a Christmas-limited design.

I guess I need a straw for this banana milk

(didn't expect this sound)

It tastes so nice and sweet!

(gulping down the milk with a straw)

I think this banana milk is a very classic product (It was there since I was born)

this time I'm gonna open this Barbapapa mini pie box

wow the things inside are just so cute!

I love this packaging

Like this, on the front side, there's Barbapapa smiling

and on the back, there's a strawberry

oh yeah!

On the package

It says "a sweet romance between a strawberry and a Choco Pie"

since I love strawberry flavor

I'm so excited!

I mean, even the packaging is so cute

but usually when the packaging is THIS cute,

the taste is...(often bad lol)

usually when the packaging is cute

the taste often turns out to be so so

well let's see how this one tastes!

The size is kinda small!

oh yeah I forgot!

This is supposed to be a mini pie!

not the original Choco Pie

Although the size is not big,

the side is quite thick!

Let's see how it tastes!

I'm so touched! (with a mini pie...)

It's sooo good!

I think I made a right choice this time!

This is cute even on the inside

so I'll show you guys

after cutting them neatly

Ta daa~! Isn't it so pretty?

so this is how Barbapapa mini pie looks like on the inside

I think it's really pretty even when you cut it

even the chocolate coating is very rich

and the marshmallow inside

tastes similar to the marshmallow inside a Choco Pie

and the strawberry flavor part is very moist!

and because of its small size,

I think it's good for when you're a little bit hungry

when you eat this mini pie

it will make you want to drink this banana milk!

Ahhh I'm so happy

The fact that I'm done with all my finals

and eating these goodies make me so happy! (the peace after the exams)

(can't stop)

They were so good!

and I guess you guys will also be

wondering about the price

This Barbapapa mini pie costs

about 2 dollars for a box

and in one box,

there are 6 cute Barbapapa mini pies inside!

For Japanese viewers, if you travel to Korea,

I really recommend this as omiyages

~

I'm not done with drinking this one yet, but

since this design is a Christmas-limited version

why don't you guys get these before it's too late?

Well then, this is the end for today!

If you like this video, please like,

subscribe and comment! :D

See you guys next time~!

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Review - Ready or Gormotti - Duration: 9:51.

At the end of the day, I feel exactly how I thought I'd feel about Xenoblade 2, but

there is a lot of greatness I wasn't expecting that could have made me feel better about

the game if not for some flaws and regressions.

One of the first things I noticed about the game was the incredible production value.

Animations are high quality, displaying the finer range of expressions with stunning clarity.

The camera is dynamic, it doesn't only do zooms, pans and swivels, when the action gets

going it will move all about as really games and computer generated movies should.

I don't remember anything really on par in something like Avatar, which was trumpeted

as the ultimate cg experience, but I don't remember the camera being very dynamic or

that great of animation - it looked good for the time, but still in the uncanny valley

and sloppy.

I will admit I wasn't very engaged in the movie because I knew it was going to be incredibly

overhyped and I was right.

I make this comparison because it is clear Monolithsoft is issuing a challenge to other

developers and even the movie industry with this game; after finishing the game it is

ended with a 20th Century Fox like endroll.

It's like boom, we are Monolithsoft we kick ass, we are the masters of what we do, remember

our name... xenoblade 1 pun unintended.

The point is if you are good at reading body language and facial expressions, the subtext

this presentation boost adds is staggering and makes for the strongest story since Monolithsoft

made their home with Nintendo.

There are flaws and plot holes, but the story is great and unlike the first Xenoblade doesn't

take half the game to really get going, but it also nearly matches the world building

in Xenoblade X; and it is a great tradeoff.

The game reminds me more of Xenosaga actually than Xenoblade, thematically it touches on

some Xenosaga tones, the art direction is an evolution of Xenosaga and the world in

this game is very linear.

Unlike Xenoblade 1 with it's open areas and interweaving paths or X and it's truly open

world, Xenoblade 2 has a few open titans and the rest of the game is basically just linear

hallways, very wide and open hallways, but hallways nonetheless.. and it's not the worst

thing, it kind of works with the story.

The only real problem with this level structure is that Monolithsoft has gotten worse about

trying to force fights with non-boss enemies as mini-bosses or just putting overpowered

unique monsters down without any thought and it makes it hard to get around forced encounters

and can make getting through an area difficult and it's still very common for these mini-bosses

to be several levels higher than and tougher than the actual boss and that's weird and

if you have to grind for the mini-boss, the boss ends up being a joke.

If you really maximize your equipment to take down the mini-boss, the boss will be a joke.

And on one of the first titans, you are forced to go through a relatively linear path through

reasonable level 30ish enemies and also just randomly interspersed mobs of over level 80

enemies, including a unique monster who can fly over most of this linear path and will

follow and one shot your party if he sees you.

That area wasn't fun and seemed strange; there is no way you can fight any of these guys

and when you gain about 50 more levels and won't immediately get killed by level 80 enemies,

what is the point of having level 30s there.

Xenoblade 1 would kind of section off enemies by relative strength to guide you along a

linear path, it was rare to see a couple odd monsters out, but it was never anything like

this.

The progression system is also a bit of a step back, it doesn't feel like you get quite

as much experience and the BP system you would use to upgrade arts is replaced by a WP system.

You get similar amounts of WP as BP in previous games, but the costs to upgrade are much higher

with the final usually costing around 10,000 WP, you also have a separate WP pool for each

weapon type and must use a blade with that weapon in battle to get any WP.

It really makes you commit to certain blades, which actually is a problem that can ruin

your experience late in the game.

Maxing out a blade's affinity chart will grant you some WP boosters you can use for an easy

1000 or more WP to a single weapon and you should keep quite a few of these on hand especially

heading into the final few chapters.

The one way it seems there is to get a lot of experience is experience earned for characters

outside of your party.

It seems like you get the full in party experience plus 10-25% or so in Bonus experience so your

party members are usually a little higher level than Rex, which creates a potential

problem late game.

When you reach the final chapter fast travel to an Inn and make sure to maximize his level

and don't level up any of your party members, you will run into some unwinnable fights if

your party is higher level than Rex, I guess why this is unwinnable is kind of some minor

spoilers, so I'll have put up a time to skip to if you are worried, it's really nothing

major though.

In the final chapter, you will encounter some boss fights that use the stats and art and

skill upgrades of your party members for the boss and you are just Rex and you will no

longer have access to his main blades, so if you didn't train in any of the remaining

weapon types, you are alone, naked with unupgraded weapons basically outlasting your opponent

and if they are a higher level with upgraded arts, you don't stand a chance.

Once the battle system gets going, I like it a lot more than the previous battle systems,

but the game very slowly lets you use the battle system.

You are almost halfway through the game before you can have 3 blades and there is no reason.

The battle system is pretty slow and monotonous until about 10-30 hours in depending on how

quickly you move through the story.

I recommend focusing on the story until about the snow titan, because the majority of the

battle system opens up and if you plan to max out affinity and/or get all rare blades,

you want to be doing sidequests with 3 blades in your party and have a lot of rare blades.

To get rare blades you kind of need levels and common blades with completed affinity

charts.

Your blade draws are determined by your luck stat and your boosters.

Gaining levels and wearing equipment is how you raise luck, and gaining affinity with

common blades is how you gain permanent draw rarity boosters, once a common blade has their

chart completed, you can release them to free up room for new blades with no consequence

and get consumable draw rarity boosters from them.

Anyway this battle system has your full set of arts split across your 3 blades and each

art is assigned a unique button, so there is no need to scroll through a long art palette,

you recharge your arts across all blades by auto-attacking and can boost the power of

your art by using it when one of your auto-attacks connects; it's a lot more rhythmic and fast

paced and it feels good.

Each blade also has a special move art that upgrades as you complete auto-attack cycles

or time your arts with your auto-attacks.

Each of these special moves has an elemental polarity and you and your party can combo

3 together to seal a boss's annoying moves and change the boss's elemental weakness with

an elemental sphere.

You can then use the opposing element to a sphere in a chain attack to deal extra damage

and gain an additional round of chain attacks.

this all may sound pretty complex and confusing, but it really isn't and it works very well.

There is a lot more to the game as well, you have mini-quests called, good deeds, denoted

by NPCs with trophies above their heads.

Midway through the game you can send blades out for a set amount of time to adventure

and during this time they will gain affinity, forge international contracts to expand the

number of items you can buy and bring back, money, items and bonus experience and you

can buy property for permanent boosts like enhanced running, better drop rates and so

on and you can salvage to make money.

All of this does a great job of supporting the core I talked about in more detail.

If you are willing to give the game a serious 10-30 hours, it is a great RPG, worthy of

your time and I think it will hook you like a krabble.

For an arbitrary score I'd say 9.2, not perfect, Monolithsoft really needs to fix some of these

recurring problems, but it just is mindblowing everywhere else.

Tiny Metal (PS4) Review - Duration: 4:14.

Throughout the 2000's handheld console gamers were treated to the Advance Wars series.

Roll on to 2017 and Advance Wars got a spiritual successor called...

When the King Of Artemesia was assassinated, it was up to Lieutenant Nathan Gries, age

23, to head into the lands of Zipan and track down his killer.

Along his journey you bumped into a handful of colourful characters, all coming with unique

designs and were well voice acted, albeit in Japanese.

It was a shame though that you couldn't actually chose to play as any of these different commanders,

and it would have been nice if each of them had perhaps different abilities or special

moves.

Every mission's objectives were the same (either to kill all the enemy or to capture their

HQ).

And all of the maps, visually looked very similar to one another- there were no weather

conditions to mix things up.

Every map had Fog of War right from the start, rather than making it something that cropped

up every now and then.

But in saying that, Chess always has the same objectives and is always played on the same

board and that's pretty popular.

And thankfully, Tiny Metal had the same opportunity for tactics as much as a game of Chess.

Each unit had its own strengths and weaknesses.

Infantry may not have had as much in the way firepower, but they could capture buildings.

Tanks, which were here called Metal, making heavy tanks called Heavy Metal- it's funny

why in Japanese games, giant mechanical weapons are always called 'metal'- 'Metal Gear', 'Metal Slug'.

Anyway, tanks were strong but easily get bogged down in rough terrain.

Helicopters obviously didn't have this problem, but they did have problems of their own.

So you always had to be thinking about how to get the most out of each unit.

Whenever deciding what to build, you had to think about what would be most effective at

the time.

You had to build an army, that would work together, leaving no weaknesses, whether it

was on the ground or in the air.

Unfortunately no naval warfare though.

A new mechanic that added another layer of consideration to each move was locking on.

Here, you could chain attacks together to do maximum damage, with the enemy unit only

retaliating on whatever unit attacked it last.

With a bit of thought, weak units could still attack the strong without having to worry

about a counter strike.

You also had to think about the direction that each unit faced, with flank and rear

attacks doing more damage than the front.

It was a nice addition that made not only what you move and where you move it important,

but also which way you ended up facing.

Comm links would give you the opportunity to airdrop in a special hero unit, which if

done right could really swing the way a battle was going.

Especially if you managed to drop in some infantry near the enemy HQ, threatening to

capture it and end the match in one fell swoop.

Some of the matches started you with nothing, meaning that you had to build your forces

from scratch, using the money earned from each of the buildings that you had conquered.

Others started you with an army, which you had to be careful not to lose as they're were

no factories around to rebuild it- adding an element of caution, as you couldn't afford

to waste anything.

Unfortunately though, the game was incredibly easy, at least until new game plus mode.

This kind of put a downer on the whole tactical thinking element, when mistakes were never

really that damaging.

You could go through the relatively short campaign, or the long list of skirmish matches

without ever failing at a mission.

However to add a bit more of a challenge, you could make sure to explore every level

thoroughly, to find extra secret missions or unlock new heroes.

Tiny Metal brought back plenty of good memories from old Advance Wars days.

But it didn't quite reach the dizzying heights that those games used to.

It lacked a little variety and could have done with a bit more personality, but the

additions in gameplay were welcome.

At release it simply stated that multiplayer was 'coming soon', which was something to

look forward to.

Playing against another human always makes a strategy game more fun.

Until next time, thanks for watching.

when those videos come out anyway let's take a look at this so that pilot watch

that I've received from watch gaining Platinum subscription so as we take a

closer look at the swatch you may be able to see and print it on the dial

there is the actual model number it also says military spec right

underneath the model number the model number for this watch is an SMT - Rs 40

now this is one of the best automatic pilot watches that they're currently

selling on their site for about $1000 whether or not this watch is worth $1000

yet quite honestly I'm not sure we're gonna have to jump into that but to tell

you a little bit about this watch this is on the smaller side besides the the

diameter of the case on this watch is only 40 millimeters which as my taste

change missed Changez I'm finding that I'm becoming a

fan of bigger watch case sizes for me personally this sweet spot for watch for

me now is in that 43 to 45 millimeter size range much bigger than that is too

big much smaller than that feels tiny so this watch what I'm wearing it it

actually feels kind of small on my wrist the case diameter coupled with the

bandwidth the bandwidth for this watch is only 20 millimeters so I've

definitely found as it relates to the band itself 20 millimeters is really a

little bit too small for me I prefer 22 or 24 millimeters but this watch like I

mentioned 40 millimeters case size case diameter and 20 millimeter band size at

the Lugg for this watch so it is a smaller watch now this watch is 100%

Swiss made in is using an ETA 28 24 - 2 a movement the case is of course

stainless steel on this watch with a standard push-pull crown the crystal on

this watch is a sapphire crystal so it's going to be more resistant to scratches

and things of this soil if you can probably see from this picture and

possibly some of the close-up pictures that I take at the end this does have a

matte finish to the case so it's not a high gloss it's definitely a matte

finish with a matte gray dial which to me and I think it's kind of sharp I'm

personally not a fan of that paired with the brown leather strap and I'm probably

gonna end up changing the strap on this but overall I think it's a sharp sharp

little watch if I jump over to take a look and see what this watch is selling

for on other sites start taking a look around and I actually found this watch

on Amazon or a similar model I found the gunmetal version on Amazon for 900

seventy-five dollars the interesting thing about Amazon in about so that in

general is they have a watch that looks almost exactly like this one matter of

fact it does look exactly like this one except in the quartz model on the quartz

model price on the Amazon rain house three hundred and twenty five dollars so

the interesting piece of for this for me anyway is that for what we paid is

watching platinum subscribers was pretty much the equivalent of what people are

paying for the quartz model with the exception we ended up with a full

automatic model of this watch I actually found this watch listed on touch a

modern however it's sold out when it was available this watch was selling for

nine hundred and seventy five dollars finally if we jump over to ebay I am

able to find similar model of watches not this exact one however I'm able to

find a similar automatic the black and gray dial one selling for three hundred

and seventy five dollars on eBay my guess is that that is potentially a

watch gang subscriber as well because that's that's a pretty low price

compared to what this watch seems to be selling for in other places

there's also interestingly enough a pre-owned quartz version of this watch

on eBay right now for four hundred dollars or a best offer

personally I think if this was a watch that I was going to purchase for myself

well let me back up first of all I would not purchase this watch for myself just

outright not that there's anything wrong with this watch but it's a little bit

too plain for me the dial the the overall design just seems a little bit

too plain I need I need the face the watch face to be busy or whether it be a

chronograph whether it be something a little bit crazier done with the numbers

this is just a very nice plain watch now one thing I'll point out that people

have been giving this watch a lot of flack for is the

o'clock position if you look it only says zero at the ten o'clock position

it doesn't say ten now interestingly enough if you talk to the svet about

this that was done by design and the reason that was done by design is to

give the watch a balanced face or a balanced look personally i i i don't

know i don't have any real comments one way or another about it when i first saw

it it didn't strike me as a little bit odd that it wasn't a ten and it was

actually just a zero but I also understand so that's reasoning behind it

and the aesthetic balance to the dial if we jump up and take a closer look or

walk around this watch in general if I can get this I'm done here so you can

see the dial there now the one thing I will point out about the dial and its

might be kind of hard to see on the video but I'll may be able to see it

better in the close-up pictures that I post up at the end but all the numbers

are raised that they do have raised indices which add some depth to the dial

which is pretty nice and it it's not just as flat but as I mentioned the

sorry about that as I mentioned I'm not necessarily a huge fan of this band on

it flipping the watch over you do have that open case back so you get to

actually see the movement of this watch I think the what they did with the back

of this watch is pretty interesting it's it's pretty sharp looking it is a

thinner watch so it's gonna work well under a dresser but if you look overall

there's just not a whole lot to this watch it's just very very plain which

some people are going to absolutely love that design me personally again I need

something that's a little bit busier has a little bit more to grab your attention

the leather on this band doesn't feel cheap doesn't feel plastic here

Chansey at all I felt nicer straps but this one isn't bad but again I'm not a

fan of the color so I'm going to end up having to change the strap on this if I

keep it but that's just my initial impression of it alright guys so that

was this event that I received as a part of my watching platinum subscription for

December 2017 overall I think it's a sharp little watch however this brown

band definitely has to go think I'm probably gonna throw a black band on it

not quite sure yet one of you guys post up in the comments below and let me know

what you guys think what color would look good on this watch if you want to

see it a little bit more detail stick around a little bit longer and I'll post

off some still pictures of it anyway guys I appreciate you watching don't

forget to follow us on Instagram and Instagram slash watch addiction to us

Arnold's Christmas Review - Duration: 12:34.

Hey ladies and jellyfish, wumbos of all sizes, welcome back to A.S.K.

Air's Christmas videos!

This year for Christmas, I'm only gonna tackle one show.

Last year I reviewed more than a couple cartoon Christmas specials, and honestly, I don't

think they were very good.

So this year, I think it's time to turn my reviewing around and review my favorite

Christmas special ever and one of my favorite cartoon episodes ever.

I think this year it's time to do Arnold's Christmas justice.

If you don't already know, I love this show.

I grew up with it and enjoy every bit of it.

So many amazing and subtle morals and messages about subtle characters and conflicts, and

just everyday life growing up as a kid.

Anyways, be sure to subscribe if you aren't already, like this video and comment your

thoughts at the end, check out my DeviantArt, website and second channel and check out the

card above for links to other videos and playlists.

The links to all these will be in the description below, as always.

So, with no further a dieu, let's begin the review of Arnold's Christmas!

This episode starts off with Helga and Phoebe talking about Christmas.

As you would expect, Helga is going on about presents and getting, getting and more getting

while Phoebe is the side of giving and compassion.

I have to start off by saying I adore this setup.

When you show these characters' moralities and true opinions in the beginning of the

episode, it shows way more contrast when, most likely near the end, they gradient their

personalities.

And yes, I'm talking about Helga.

Not even a minute in and I'm already swooning.

That is a true sign of knowing what you are doing when it comes to writing and showing

character development.

Another reason I like this intro is because of two lines by Helga.

She talks about how Christmas is about getting as much as you can get, before the other guy

gets his.

She also mentions how she loves these fancy Nancy Spmoni snowboots that she really likes.

Remember this.

Remember, remember, remember, remember, remember, remember, remember.

Anyway, let's continue.

Now , we see Arnold and Gerald, basically doing the same thing.

We get a joke about Gerald getting everybody in his family, including his 4 year old sister

a tie and Arnold saying that gifts are supposed to be from within.

This, once again, shows character moralities.

To be honest, personally, I'm with Arnold.

Every year, when I'm getting my friends and family presents, I ALWAYS, give or take

a few times, but ALWAYS make something out of crafting materials.

Stupid or not, flimsy or not, in my opinion, making your mom a heart out of cardboard and

popsicle sticks is worth more than however many ties you can buy.

Ahem.

Then, as they all separate, Arnold walks past Helga.

We see that Helga wants to buy her crush something flashy and cool, something expensive.

Again, character moralities and contrast.

Then, we go to the boarding house.

There, guess what they are doing?

Mistletoe, decorating, wrapping gifts?

No!

That would be the cliché thing to do.

And that's another thing, it's not cliché!

Not in the slightest!

And I'll explain as we go.

Anyway, instead of all those beaten to the ground clichés, we get a nice sweet game

of Secret Santa.

What a great way to bring jokes and move the exposition.

And yes, they do both those things.

And while still having Mr Hyunh, the main conflict of the episode, and no he isn't

on the naughty list or whatever.

Instead, he actually has a sad story, which I'll once again get to later in the review.

Anyways, in the game, Arnold gets Mr. Hyunh, and let me just say this is the best and most

subtle way to move the plot and bring Mr. Hyunh into this, through an innocent game

of Secret Santa.

Well done, writers!

Arnold doesn't know what to give Mr. Hyunh so he asks Gerald and Gerald says he should

simply talk to him.

So he does.

They talk and Mr. Hyunh's accent and expression just cracks me up!

He's always talking like a child, I don't know, it's just amusing.

And this is where the sad story and cliché thing comes back.

Mr. Hyunh tells Arnold a story.

He explains that well, I think you're better off listening from him.

Man, that's just sad.

This is one of the most powerful messages any cartoon has ever come out with.

It's nice and not cliché in the slightest.

You would expect a Christmas episode to be sunshine and rainbows, but no, they go with

one of the most heartbreaking and powerful messages in existence.

War.

I personally was born in a similar situation.

My parents immigrated to a better country for a better life for me.

I might not understand Mr. Hyunh's perspective as well as say, my parents, but I get touched

with emotion and guilt whenever I see this.

Not in a bad way either, but thank you writers.

Thanks for hitting me in the heart with that.

This, without a doubt, is my favorite scene in animation period.

Not favorite episode of the show.

Not favorite scene in Hey Arnold.

No, think about everything I've reviewing and talked about so far.

Spongebob, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2003, Ben 10, Spiderman and even this show, Hey

Arnold.

No cartoon episode's scene for me, compares to this.

Wow!

Back to the review, we are back with Arnold and Gerald.

Gerald says Arnold's plan to get Mr. Hyunh's daughter back is very far-fetched.

Arnold says it's gonna need a miracle and what better time for a miracle than Christmas.

Isn't that what Christmas is all about?

Now, this question is a running gag.

Not a "my leg" kinda thing, but a repeating question that finally gets repeated until

the end of the episode.

Isn't this what Christmas is all about?

Isn't that what Christmas is all about?

Now, we go back to Helga as she is looking for the flashiest, maturest and most expensive

gift there is.

What could possibly be the right gift?

Cut back to Arnold and Gerald as they go to this missing person place and run into a guy

named Mr. Bailey.

Long story short, they do his Christmas shopping and he'll search for Mr. Hyunh's daughter.

So then we get a montage of Arnold and Gerald shopping.

I haven't really mentioned this yet but the music is spectacular.

It was by the late Jim Lang, and it is amazing.

I even used one of his tunes as music for one of my old videos.

Anyways, the last thing on their list are the already mentioned Nancy Spmoni boots.

We get little shots of Helga shopping when Arnold and Gerald run into her.

Gerald says her gift is not very personal and not very good.

But wait a second there buster, you would think this is filler, but no, because the

important thing about this scene is that Helga gets the list and figures out that they need

the fancy boots.

Arnold and Gerald ask the store cashiers if they have the boots, and they do the cashiers

laugh in your face cliché.

It's a cliché, but I have to admit it's pretty funny.

And that's how Helga finds out that that could be the perfect gift for her beloved,

so to speak.

They go to Mr. Bailey and he says no boots no deal.

This makes Mr. Bailey look unlikable but it moves the plot so I'm happy.

Helga overhears Arnold and Gerald give up and finds out what to do.

She goes home, as you would expect.

With Olga at home and the parents singing.

But don't worry, this isn't Helga On The Couch.

The parents, or at least Meriam, are likable.

Meriam giving Helga the snowboots is probably the most important event in the entire thing.

Yes, the same snow boots!

Helga is super happy because she got the boots she wanted 20 minutes ago in the beginning

of the episode, remember, remember, remember, remember?

She remembers the boots Arnold needs to get Mr. Hyunh for the Christmas present.

She debates with herself, which glistens her character and tells the audience a literal

summary of the following events.

And I actually feel for Helga here, as her character has gotten a literal upgrade through

and through and she actually has to consider Arnold and the right thing to do.

That is not Helga, and congratulations to the writers for hitting the literal bullseye

here.

She gives the boots to Mr. Bailey as he is leaving.

Now, this is one of the best character developments I have ever seen.

Helga says stuff like "It's Christmas, it's not about presents or getting yours

before the other guy gets his" and "take the boots!".

Once again, remember, remember, remember?

Mr. Bailey, instead of doing the lazy and cliché thing to do, which is to go in and

do what Helga says, just refuses and leaves.

Now, this could have been Helga's gut saying "I tried, time to go home" or "maybe

he's right".

No, she doesn't give up, and with her own free will begs Mr. Bailey to help find Mai

Hyunh, or that football headed kid will never believe in miracles ever again.

The next day as the boarders are opening presents, Arnold is disappointed that he failed in finding

Mr. Hyunh's daughter.

Then, they show one of the deepest things I have seen without any doubt whatsoever.

Mai and Mr. Hyunh get reunited as a family.

Oh I'm gonna cry!

It's such a beautiful scene, but not without the perfect ending.

Thanks Helga.

You're such a likable character and now, without any credit or anything, you made a

miracle, and that ladies and gentlemen, is what Christmas is all about.

What a great episode!

Wow!

This is one of my favorite cartoon episodes, my favorite Christmas special ever, and it

includes my favorite scene in all of animation.

It hits every single note pitch perfect and hits every bullseye so perfectly I have nothing

to say, but great job!

That's enough metaphors for today, and I'm happy to see this episode.

Huawei Nova 2i Review - 4 Camera on a Smartphone worth It? [4k] - Duration: 5:55.

The Honor 9i is the latest phone to be launched under Huawei, online online

brand in India. Also known as the Huawei Mate 10 Lite, it is Huawei's first

phone with not two or not three but four on-board cameras. Is it worth it? So lets checkout!

The 9i or Mate 10 Lite also capitalizes on another trend in the smartphone market

that of taller displays. Featuring an 18 by 9 aspect ratio display,

the Honor 9i is one of the few phones on the market to feature a taller display in its price range!

the Honor 9i is almost bezel less Smartphone.

The Honor 9i or Mate 10 Lite has a 5.9-inch, 21 60 by 10 80 resolution I P S LCD Display.

The taller aspect ratio of the display is quite stunning at first look,

even though we are now slowly starting to get used to it,

and someone new to it will definitely be quite impressed.

Huawei has also cleverly kept the bezels at a minimum, which really gives the feeling of holding just the display in your hand.

The 9i doesn't quite have the nice rounded edges of the more expensive phones

but at this price that might be too much to ask.

The display does look quite nice indoors.

with reasonably accurate. but the screen washes out a bit under sunlight, making it hard to see out-doors, especially while using the camera.

It's still a nice display though, overall, and one of the best in its price range.

Huawei has tastefully chosen to not have any logos on the front, giving it a clean, monolithic appearance.

The only things worth noting above the display are the notification L E D,

earpiece, and the dual front cameras from left to right.

On the right side are the power and volume control buttons.

That are easy to reach and work well.

On the right is a SIM card tray, that holds either two nano SIM or one nano SIM and one microSD card.

On the top is a single microphone, and on the bottom is a headphone jack, another microphone, the single loudspeaker,

and a micro U S B connector (Not U S B type-c). Although we would have preferred stereo speakers, the single speaker does sound decent and gets adequately loud.

The back of the phone is one entire piece of aluminum, a rarity in this price range.

Near the top is the dual camera system with an L E D flash splitting the top antenna line.

Below the camera is a fingerprint sensor that falls within easy reach.

It performed fast and reliable during our time with the phone.

Overall, the look and feel of the Honor 9i is quite premium.

The Honor 9i or Mate 10 Lite runs on Android 7.0 Nougat with EMUI 5.1.

But it's not the latest EMUI 8,

which comes along Android Oreo on the Mate 10 and 10 Pro.

In terms of space, the Honor 9i has, The Kirin 6 59 chipset,

with 4 gigabytes of ram and 64 gigabytes of internal storage.

The Mali-T830 MP2 is also boost up performance.

The Mali-T830 MP2 is just not powerful enough for an FHD display, let alone a FHD+ display.

The benchmark scores are some of the lowest we have seen this year and even in actual games, performance isn't great unless you are playing 2D or basic 3D games.

The Honor 9i has a dual camera system on the front, as well as on the back, which is how Huawei got the 'World's first phone with four cameras' rhetoric.

The thing is,

though, only two of those actually take pictures and the other two are depth sensors for the background blur effect.

The Rear camera for Honor 9i are 16 and 2 megapixel sensors.

And, the front camera are 13 and 2 megapixel sensors.

The background defocusing feature on the rear camera left us a bit disappointed contrary to our experience,

with more expensive Huawei phones.

The camera made a shoddy border around the subject and heavily blurred out the surrounding area,

making the person look like a cardboard cutout.

The camera app has another mode,

where you can adjust the "aperture" of the camera, which worked a bit better but was still unreliable.

The dynamic range isn't impressive.

It's fine if the scene is mostly flat, but in a high contrast scenarios,

the sensor will either blow the highlights or throw the shadows under the bus.

The HDR mode just makes the image brighter but does nothing for saving the highlights from clipping.

The quad-camera is also a gimmick, and although the image camera from the primary cameras is decent for the price,

the background defocusing effect is not the best implementation we've seen from Huawei.

The phone also lacks some niceties, such as fast charging, and USB-C that you find on its rivals.

Still, for $278, INR 17900

the Honor 9i is good value and a suitable step up from some of the cheaper phones in the segment.

So! What do you think of it?

productive the innovative tip down is the most professional ice fishing system

on the market it's built for durability ease of use and will help you catch more

fish innovative tip downs operate by weight balancing the upper inner tube

supports the rod in the 45-degree upward angle when a fish takes the bait the rod

simply tips down straight toward the hole letting you know that officious on

while allowing the fish to take out line once you set the hook

the fish is retrieved in a handover and fashion such a technique offers zero

resistance to the fish and let you know precisely when the fish takes the bait

unlike conventional tip ups tecton's produce more fish simply because there

is no resistance when the fish drives the bait they simply took tow as opposed

to chirping a flag first on traditional tip-up systems the force required to

fire a mechanism that trips the flag often causes fish to drop the bait if

SUPER HYDORAH [PC, 2017] Review | It's a Pixel THING - Ep. 133 - Duration: 5:31.

Hey, guys!

Welcome back!

Recently Locomalito brought us the remastered version of one of my favorite shooters ever!

Super Hydorah really takes us back to the early days, and unmistakable feel, of the

16-bit gaming Era!

Let's take a look!

If you're eager for 80s style shoot 'em ups, then Super Hydorah is for you!

It has been revived from the 2010 original and it's basically a side-scrolling space

shooter that feels like an homage to classic titles like Gradius, R-Type, Darius, and even

Turrican!

The ship really looks and feels like the famous Vic Viper from Gradius, and some of the weapons,

like the missiles, are an obvious tribute to that series, although they don't float

on the ground until they find a target.

The control scheme is as basic as a two button retro-shooter, just like in the good old days

and perfect for my arcade cabinet, but mastering this game is a huge trophy that not many players

will be able to achieve, 'cause, and if you're a 70s or 80s children, you'll recognize

the difficulty that the genre was known for back in those glory days of the arcades.

The original Hydorah was released, by Locomalito, as a free to play game for Windows back in

2010, and it received a lot of praise from all 80s "nostalgics" that enjoys this

"hard as nails" shooting style of games.

Recently was revived and revamped as Super Hydorah, again available for PC, but also

for PS4 and Xbox One.

You're seeing here the PC version available through Steam, that is basically the same

as the console ports.

Now, for the numbers:

there are 35 sublevels to play throughout the course of 21 levels and, also, various

weapons to select from.

The soundtrack is an amazing 60 track masterpiece that will send you flying back in time to

that 16 bit awesome Era!

Besides all that, the game has multiple endings and secrets, as well as extra modes like multiplayer

and robot chase mode.

Some of the stages have more vertical and horizontal space, so they can feel bigger

than normal.

Between levels, you can customize what weapons you'll be carrying, though you won't get

the full arsenal until you reach the end of the game, and you also have a branching system

to take you through several pathways until you reach the final boss.

As said, Super Hydorah also offers a multiplayer mode, in where you and a friend simultaneously

take on the campaign.

When one dies, he just has to wait until his companion also dies as well, or picks up a

cross to return both to the fight.

It really makes the game different, and really takes you back to the shooters of the day.

Maybe getting the dead player back to life immediately, would have been a nicer touch.

I recently brought to all of you my personal look onto Maldita Castilla EX, also known

as Cursed Castilla, from Locomalito and Gryzor87, and, besides also the original free to play

game of that one, Hydorah was a huge deal for me back when it was originally released,

'cause it brought so many awesome memories from the arcade experience from the 80s that

was extremely important in my gaming life.

And turning those CRT scanlines on, really looks like we're playing a Super NES game

back in early 90s!

Locomalito's creations should really be taken into consideration by all of you that

truly enjoys these modern homages to the games from the past and, if you missed out on the

2010 original game, or want to simply withstand the challenge again, then this is the definitive

version.

I highly recommend it!

So, guys!

Hope you've enjoyed this look onto one of my favorite shooters ever made that just got

even better with this, let's say, upgraded version!

If you did, please like, share, comment, subscribe and hit that bell icon, so that you're notified

as soon as the next video becomes available!

The Star - Review (Spoiler Free) - Duration: 3:47.

What are we even supposed to make of The Star? You'd wager it's a studio-funded movie for faith audiences,

which it is, when it's not an abysmal kid's film

treating it's audience like they have a super-short attention span through the usual collection of toilet

humour, bad music cues, unlikeable characters that kids should like because they're animals, and so forth.

You could argue it's a backdoor experiment in keeping costs down for Sony

the way Captain Underpants was for DreamWorks, which it is,

except for the part where this film fails in just about every non-financial way.

So, it's the Nativity story, except mostly only as the B-plot;

the A-plot is boilerplate Special Misunderstood Protagonist shtick, embodied in a donkey.

He comes across Mary and Joseph preparing to travel to Bethlehem, as he might,

and though he desires to explore the world, he choses to follow them as protection,

accompanied by a old dove friend and a new sheep one.

At the same time, the expected subplot of the three kings bringing gifts to the Messiah is present,

though mostly to set up a rudimentary pursuit thread that registers only because of how it shows

no one involved had any confidence in the actual Nativity part of the film.

Indeed, the more I reflect on it, the more it becomes apparent how tone-deaf the film is.

When it's not mimicking anything from early DreamWorks pap to Illumination product,

it's grafting the Pixar template of moving from comedy and sentiment to an action-adventure in the last third.

All while Mary and Joseph are searching for an inn in Bethlehem.

It's enough to give any sane adult a migraine. Otherwise, it's as generically awful as you'd expect,

deviating only for as little religious asides as are necessary to justify the angle.

Enough of the key points of the Nativity story are glossed over

that it's no first way to experience the story, and if any parent wants their kid to re-experience it,

read them a picture book, that way you'll avoid any pain yourself.

Even visually it's a washout,

another victim of the high-budget high-reward stranglehold American CG Animation is locked into.

Say what you will about The Emoji Movie, but at least it was visually serviceable.

And while Captain Underpants shown that farmed-out CG animation doesn't have to suffer,

that just makes this all the more dispiriting.

The awful textures and design and stiff movement all speak for themselves as being as butt-ugly as they are.

In fact, this may be the rare CG animated film where the humans are more visually pleasing then the animals,

though only because the animals look like corpses.

I know, it's unfair to criticise getting animation that barely justifies a theatrical release

out of just $20 million, but that doesn't stop me.

But perhaps the most tone-deaf thing of all is the religious preaching that pops up from time to time.

It makes sense, given the Nativity angle,

but boy does it not fit with something this shabby, only serving to make the film more misguided.

It is, literally, a film for which I cannot fathom who it could actually appeal to.

Those who want the religious stuff have to suffer through the kids' pabulum,

while those who find substance in the kids' pabulum have to put up with religious scaffolds and monologues.

Those who want both won't get any satisfaction, to say nothing of those people who have interest in neither.

The Star is gaudy, rickety, boring, visually ugly, and lacking any appeal for anyone.

When you have a film like this, it almost makes me glad most modern CG animation

is rooted in mediocre territory, something this film doesn't come even close to.

Thanks for watching the review, folks. As always, I'm your host, Mike Culligan, of Cartoon Karma.

If you liked what you saw, leave a like or a comment, that'd be pretty neat. Subscribing would be even neater.

Or you can check out my other videos, where I cover animation of all shapes and sizes.

Perhaps even follow the channel on Facebook and Twitter.

All your choice, but it'd sure bring a smile to my face.

Until next time, folks.

LEGO DC Super Heroes Speed Force Freeze Pursuit review! 76098 - Duration: 15:08.

hey everyone this is the Lego DC superheroes speed force freeze pursuit

set and I'm sure when this was first announced or leaked or otherwise

unveiled it made a lot of fans of the flash very happy because this one single

set that appears to have a fairly reasonable low to medium price comes

with both flash and reverse flash so without further ado let me get straight

to those figures awesome yeah see I'm not even a flash fan myself but I am

really happy for flash fans to be able to get these two figures together like

this this is this is really nice reverse flash there has the power infuser energy

infuser unit one of three collectible ones for this series for this wave you

can plug those in to Lex Luthor's neck it's just a simple little thing you can

do that's a printed piece actually for the cylinder the regular flash gets a

couple of those power blast pieces I'm glad they haven't retired those because

they did introduce a new piece that's similar but that doesn't actually shoot

off the way these do is a new color for this season for that piece just a

regular transparent yellow it looks good and it's just a really good working

action feature because it it looks good you don't have to use the action feature

part of it but if you choose to it works well so it's just win-win good end good

nice fine printing nice lines on the the regular flash himself no dual molding

for the helmets here in either case or for the headgear but the masking is

pretty decent for you know the single paint application on either side for

each taken those off the prints are okay I think reverse flashes print looks a

little bit better a little bit more believable a little bit more complete

with the paint application for the skin tone because it's against the yellow

color it's actually not a regular yo it's orange yellow whereas the flash on

the left it really is a bit looking a bit thin

just because it has a darker color and you see some of that red through there

so basically he has a pink face it's a really really pink face almost almost

like a Salman through the colour and each of these has an alternate face

that's good I could have gone for a little bit more difference in the

expressions for the flash between those two also you see just a little bit of

extra thinness just in the center almost where a nose would be for the flash you

know so just that that skin tone ink I think it is application that they're

they're putting on or however that's classified needs a little bit of work

this season I've seen a number of figures that are just missing I guess

it's not that great on this side either it's interesting that the reverse-flash

looks so much better just because of what it's applied over and since we're

looking at figures might as well look at the other two cyborg and killer frost

here see killer frost has one of those pieces on her left hand right side of

your screen that I was talking about that's very similar to a power of last

part just fits over the hand more completely just from any kind of

distance it looks almost the same so I don't know why they needed to make a new

one but it's it's no problem me it looks good it's good to be able to get

different action style pieces in different colors it's just too bad that

one doesn't actually fire off the way the proper power of last one will you've

got some metallic actual paint or a print on the body of cyber or quite a

bit of it actually I think there's a little bit yeah a little bit for a

killer frost as well and you just have to get the light to hit it right to

really see that it's a little bit subtle but good looking stuff obviously you

also have this this what I call a splat piece it's like a small just that's just

a comic splat I mean if that's really what it is the small version has two

bars on it so you can attach something from either side or put it in hand from

either side they also have this larger version that can only be attached from

from one side so it can be held in a hand the bar is over here and I think

this will just be really good for stop motions and setting up action scene

they're just really nice pieces taking a look underneath alternate face there

that's a good serious expression alternate face there yeah that's a must

that had to be had to be done I think they've used that exact

expression at least a couple times maybe a few times before just changing out the

colors a little bit I think the main expression is fine for killer frost but

it mean it's good it's good one I think that it's appropriate for this figure

and these main faces I think are are good as well yeah no complaints for me

between these two this helicopter for cyborg though ooh

early on looking at pic the official pictures of it I knew I liked to think

but seeing it in person I actually like it even more this is a truly unique

design I haven't seen Lego do anything that looks like this and the way the the

canopy is set up there is really really nice that that fits with not too much

gap there I mean there's a bunch of gap down here but just using these kind of

light saber blade pieces in red helps to fill that up and it helps it else to

make sense I would say out of it there's a new piece that's used on the the front

here if you haven't seen that yet it's a one by two kind of like a plate with

hollow studs but it's routed around the edges that's interesting right I allow

you to do some interesting things for for custom building for a shirt that's a

sticker used on the front that's supposed to represent a heads up display

for cyborg to see I'm not a big fan of that because it's really obvious that

you can I mean it's really obvious that it's applied from the outside but the

great news is there are only three other stickers on this this whole craft in

total and you can leave any of them off and the craft will still look really

good this is a painted dish piece up on the top the the bright metallic silver

color got a little bit of offset to these blades there are large blades they

feel like they're almost appropriately scaled usually Lego makes rotor blades

on helicopters are way way too small for the size of the chopper itself over on

this side you have an old style of net shooter which is

interesting given that they have just introduced a new net shooter piece and

actual dedicated net shooter piece but this is the old way of doing it with an

engine housing and I think they chose that because they weren't ready to

budget for another color for the new piece just yet but this is fine I got no

complaints about that it I mean it's a little bit on the large side but it's

it's fine if you want to leave it off you can easily do so customize something

up in its place but you know it's just has a plunger on the back and you just

try to push that quickly in and they work okay these have been around for a

long time this is a brand new knit though it's actually round

completely round it's just a circle it's interesting it looks pretty cool too if

you think of it as being like a an energy netting rather than you know

something something traditional so you know energy base rather than mass based

so just a cool looking looking part and there's so much detail all around this

this chopper to lots of pieces are attached to it some things don't need to

be done but they are to good effect you see a little bit of blue from that axle

pin sticking out where they've attached this painted metallic silver bright

metallic silver colored cone piece it's a fantail design and that's a print that

the fan piece itself the the tail looks a little bit square just the housing for

that but this sticker here really helps with that I can tell you that's stupid I

didn't take a picture before I put the sticker on but just that one curved line

right there really helps to kind of trick the eyes and to make this look

less boxy then it really is and it looks more boxy I think over on this side

because of the contrast between just how round that inverted red tile is compared

to what's rounded but it's not that bad I mean that's that's me probably the

worst thing of the entire the entire build now this here is a pair of stud

shooters you know you can just fire those off normally but it can also be

removed and the ideas they they let you use that as

as a weapon for cyborgs so where is the connection there it's just a couple of

clips yeah so he can actually hold on to that I'll show you that in just a second

but I just want to open up the carpet here as well just swings way forward

really easy to get him in and out he does lean back more than I like to see

but honestly it's not that big of a deal what I really like that they've done in

the interior is this whole long stripe of red that really just makes it look

more luxurious to me for some reason I like that I like how it continues all

the way up just helps to to finish the interior you know he doesn't have any

console or any control sticks to to look at in front of him he just has that

heads-up displays is the idea there but overall execution on this this whole set

I think looks really good the skids you know are individually attached and what

they suggest that you do with the dual stud shooter sub-assembly is use it as a

shoulder launcher system for cyborg and obviously this is way too big and heavy

for him to hold just on the ground normally he's always gonna fall over but

you know on any kind of studded base he'll be able to stand out but that

looks pretty cool I think it scales decently well to him you know it's not

it's not unusual for him to have a ridiculous sized weapon so yeah this

this is a nice little thing to be able to detach it and continue to use it and

then here's killer frost scar by comparison

relative to the helicopter this looks like a juniors build to me it's yeah

it's just not not up to par now for play this is good because it has the two stud

shooters that fire off towards the air so it's specifically designed to work

against air targets you can also angle this up even more but

this will also work as kind of a mortar you know just fires projectiles up

pretty high they will eventually come back down to the ground so that's not a

big deal plus it also has this dozer blade on the

front that can be used to you know take you through some snowy areas it's too

bad they don't give you like some some white stud pieces to kind of sprinkle

around to represent areas that have been all frosted over you know but this kind

of works it doesn't stay completely flat on the ground but you can angle it to

die their side so that's okay it's supposed to be the engines over here

it's just more blocky looking on the other side a little bit simple this is

supposed to represent the actual blasts coming out you know whereas these are

the ones that are designed for a play it's also a new piece for this year for

this season and I mean her driving compartment over there is super simple

obviously just has the steering wheel there but with respect to these blasts

like this here this here in addition to these large ones they also include a

couple of small ones in the set with some extra pieces including another one

of that piece alright and the idea here is that attach it

underneath her feet so she can use them to propel herself if she wants to you

can also start taking stuff apart and rearranging the pieces and using them in

different ways to create a blast like that or you can also this is one that

they suggest on the on the Box actually you can use the big blasts in front of

the little one to kind of simulate it a little bit of extra three-dimensional

action and you know like a growing frost blast coming I don't know the proper

terms of her attacks but there's another one that you can do that's small and

more you know more more focused and refined but you can also just do this

now that makes a lot more sense you know just see that as being one of her

icicles you know kind of like a like a spear and ice spear that you can fire

off so they include two of that piece with the swirl around it and bar with

the swirl you can use those however you choose they include two of these small

hand blasts if you will in total plus the the two of these plus the two larger

ones so you know you can mix them to start to really do custom stuff you

want to make a large icicle blast just take one of the pieces from her car

these are these are really nice tools for for imaginative play for a

stop-motion I think and for just display you know setting up a little old kind of

freeze-frame scene so in all this I think it's great I mean the minifigs

selection is great I personally love the helicopter I think the car looks kind of

silly and very plain for the line very very juniors ish but at least it plays

pretty well all these burst blasts splat the type of pieces are really useful I

look forward to a continued expansion of the potential accessories four figures

to use oh yeah and then you show that piece off the the

other side don't even know what that represents from the chopper another

thing that you can use on the other hand of of cyborg so yeah lots of good play

value here lots of good display value even sweet lots of good stuff here

really nothing bad minimal kind of neutral - mediocre stuff I'm just really

really happy for DC fans I feel like Lego has really done

something nice for you so that does it for my thoughts about this set hope

you've enjoyed this and I'm gonna keep working lots more reviews to bring you

talk to you soon

you
