A Boston head in Washington might be a little bit strange

Behind me the Capitol which means we are in Washington D.C. today

It is not the first time for me

It actually is my third time

And that is where this video is about, my adventures in Washington!

The first time was with my family before I arrived at William and Mary

At the Capitol behind me, President Trump is inaugurated

He had the following view

It is not that busy

Hidde: It is a bit early though

Yes it is around 11AM

But, at the inauguration of President Trump it wasn't busy either

With this woman in our view, we see more people than during the inauguration

Bert: maybe there were more people, but these might not have appeared in the view

Fake news?

Trump's inauguration was here

Even at this moment, right before Christmas, there are more people here now

I am going to flip the screen

There are more people, unbelievable!

The second time in D.C. was at the beginning of December. I visited the Newseum

We can show some footage from that

These are the covers of all the journals in the 50 different states of Ameria

Here is West-Virginia for example. What is the news there?

This whole wall is full

From the Newseum, a museum about news

I am at the sixth floor, the floor with the best view

And the third time in D.C. is now

I am going to enjoy this city for the last time

At the Washington monument and behind me you see the Capitol

It is a rule here that the buildings are not allowed to be bigger than the Capitol

This means that, when I switch the camera

That these buildings over there are not really high

No skycrapers here in Washington

The only one exception is the pillar behind me

The Washington monument is higher than the Capitol

A place not to forget when making a tour through Washington, is the White House

In the White House lives President Trump

I have been inside, but was not allowed to take some footage

In multiple classes I took here in America we learned about the World Bank

Unfortunately we did forget some crucial information about the World Bank

Who is, for example, the director and what is the purpose of the World Bank?

From the World Bank to the IMF, the International Monetary Fund

These two do interact a lot

George Washington University
