News on Youtube Dec 4 2017

Hello, this is Enna.

Today I'll talk about unexpected situation during last event filming.

Work was not hard.

I setup camcoder as usual.

But,

Condition of field was different.

Not normal.

You may know after seeing sample.

I'll talk about problem after that.

As you see, sound condition is not good.

Orator and crowd's sound is mixed.

Because, fields structure was unusual.

Normally speaker's position is front of audience.

But speakers were fixed to street light here and there.

Sounds did not come straight. Sideways.

It's hard to gather sounds like that with shotgun mic.

I found sound condition is bad during monitoring.

'I can't record sounds clearly with this way.'

I had to find solution.

But had only 3 minutes before start.

And didn't have recorder.

I noticed I packed emergency camera NX1.

So I choose using it.

I looked around and found fine place to set my camera (by the street light with speaker).

I ran to there and set my camera and record for clean sound.

Near the speaker and far from crowd.

After that I merged camcoder's screen and NX1's sound when editing.

I'll show you results before and after merging.

You may find merged sound is much better.

Clear sound and less crowd noise.

Theory and actual fight is different.

'Set this way and that way will work perfectly' but it's not.

My career is not long enough like 10, 20 years.

So sometimes I made mistakes also.

But it's important not to be panic and concentrate to solve problems.

So.. I talked about unexpected situation and solution today.

Thank you.

WOW Simple & EASY background technique- CRAFT HACK with SPRAYS - Duration: 9:45.

hi everyone look at this beautiful mess I was doing a couple projects I was

making a few brushes for some friends and I use color bloom sprays and some

color birds and this is my beautiful mess on my table as you can see there is

a lot a lot of ink and I don't want it to go to waste so I'm going to

reactivate because all of them are water-soluble so all you have to do and

they were a little bit dry and all you have to do is just reactivate them and

then I was thinking okay do you know what oh my god such a great

idea let me make some backgrounds so I'm gonna take some watercolor paper and I'm

gonna play around with to see what kind of ideas will come out out of this so

I'm gonna start with the center here you know maybe to the side here the first

thing I'm going to do is I'm just going to press on it and see if what kind of

idea what kind of thing comes out it's just I'm experimenting you know I don't

want to waste anything oh wow look at the beautiful watercolor background I

thought I was gonna get like dots and I have some beads here which are

preventing from the preventing things from getting on there so that's the

first one ooh I love this actually it's really really nice for a card background

so that's a great great oh my god moment I like that nothing new but wow I love

it okay the next one is I'm going to drag but I want to drag where there's

color so let me see hmm whew I like that a lot more okay oh I like that

let me let it drip a little bit I'm just gonna drag the other side oh wait no I

want to keep it to the same side sorry because then it will be different colors

alright this is my second background how cool is that

I like that okay so I have two backgrounds here okay continuing I have

a few this woman now I want to let's see get some but I'm going to try and do

circles see what happens okay so let's see and not sure if this is gonna

do anything now it's just gonna make a whole mess still looks pretty let's add

two colors and add some purple here from the side oh I like that and I'm gonna

let these like beads kind of stick on I

like this and it's so nice I'm gonna have like so it's a really great thing

to do not to waste any ink and I did spray a lot of ink here so that's why

this is a different paper this is a Bristol paper smooth Bristol paper so

let's see if it reacts differently frenched I'm going to press let's see

how it does it I think it's too wet oh I like that you see it reacted differently

that the watercolour there watercolor really absorbed it well this one is

smooth so it's kind of taking these really cool effects from the background

oh I really like that okay hold on let me down here okay now it's getting too

messy so then I'm gonna stop I'm gonna get some more of this Bristol paper okay

just to clarify what I'm using I'm gonna bring the Bristol paper out so I'm going

i'm using this Strathmore Bristol paper this is a 9 by 12 inches and I'm also

going to experiment with canvas pad this is a canvas pad also 9 by 12 I'm gonna

see what happens it's all an experiment and just to specify what inks I'm using

because I was so excited I didn't even get a chance to explain which ones I had

on my table so I was doing a project and here are the ones I'm using I'm using

them sorry the the Prima color bloom sprays 2 different colors some of the

ones this is the blue one I have like this one and then I'm also there's some

a little bit of color bursts metallic colored bursts as well in there I mean

it was a whole mishmash of colors so that's basically

what I did so so as you saw with the Bristol it's tricky the smoothness came

out really nicely I'm going to try and drag this now the pristine Bristol one I

really loved how it came out like that so I'm going to try and drag now and see

what happens with because I like it that it's smooth so let's see and okay so it

didn't come out as great as I thought because it's very because it's smooth

what's happening is that it's repelling the water a little bit let me try it on

this side okay it's still nice but it's not as nice as the other one I really

really love the other one that I came out so I'm going to do one more like

that I'm going to try and get some pulled lines not going to have a lot of

dots everywhere I'm going to press and see what happens and then uh different

than before let's see with a little bit more water

I love how like things progress over like that so what's happening is that

it's because I've used so many papers already it's getting diluted and the

people their designs are not coming out as cool as when you did them the further

I did them the first time around another fun trick you can do with this and I'll

show you for a fun background okay take a little lid and press and you can

create cool marks on it even like that even there just how cool is that I mean

it's almost like mana printing and I wonder if it would work you know okay so

there's fun ideas to do with that now as I said I wanted you to I wanted to try

the canvas paper this is literally a canvas paper let's see what happens I'm

going to press first in it when it has two sides hold on and

there are some stones here that I don't want in the thing so if 5-minute

backgrounds that's what basically this video is going to be all about and this

canvas has like that has two sides to it I think one is gesso and one is not so I

mean this is a really great way to create quick backgrounds so if you're

done with with spraying things and you did it on your mat this is my Ken Oliver

mat which is really really great and easy to clean so if you are done with

that you can create these really cool backgrounds and I'm going to show you

I'm going to put a little bit more yellow in this just because I want to

add a little bit more yellow in it so you can see that basically everything

got diluted because if you look at the first one that I did which is this one

it's quite stronger the color is really really strong okay so this is fun and

let me try and dragging as well so literally five minutes I hope this video

is 5 minutes I'm going to drag oh I should have used the other side it's a

good way of wiping everything off let's see let's see let's see and the other

that backgrounds how they come out ok let's try on this side we haven't done

there's a hair not expecting that okay so I think I do I think what's happening

is that my table is dirty from other things and it's speaking up gesso and a

lot of other things from it so ah do I like this last one no my favorite ones

are the first two and it's really nice the way they came out with the

watercolor paper I really really love those too so that's a great way I really

love these two as well these are really really nice and these are really fun you

could just make any type of project with this card or anything like

then and then I can just go ahead and clean it up I basically used up almost

all the ink on this and then I can clean it up easily thanks so much for coming

and enjoying this 5-minute background video if you like my video please give

it a thumbs up thumbs up yes here are my thumbs that are super dirty give it a

thumbs up and share it with your friends and hope to see you soon bye

Present Simple - Duration: 17:10.

Okay..Now we're going to speak about the present simple tense..And as we said,

when we first talk about a tense, we should talk about when should we use it,

what should we use it for.As for the present simple tense, we should use it

when you speak about three things. number 1 : opinions,

number 2: habits or routines and number 3: facts. So whenever you talk about

or whenever you want to express your opinion or you would like to talk about

your habits or routine or you're going to speak about facts you should use the

present simple tense not any other tense. Okay ..Here are some examples about

the opinions. So when you talk about opinions for example you can say: I like

tea. Rehab doesn't like watching movies. okay. So these are some examples of

opinions. Some examples for sentences about routine and habits. You can say I

go to work every day.

She meets her friends every weekend.

We usually watch football on TV .So these are examples about routine and habits

Finally some examples about facts.

It's cold in winter. We need water to live. So these are

examples of facts. Okay ..So as you can see all these sentences are in the present

simple tense. Now what? Okay how should we put the verb in the present simple

tense? Should we add anything to the verb for

example? Will the verb be the same ?Okay.. so before we start this we should know

that we have two groups or two teams to make it easy for you. And here we are

talking about the "subject of the sentence" we are talking about the

subject of the sentence. As you know any sentence should start with a subject. The

subject can be... (Ahmed,Mona,Jack,James,..) or (I, you, he sh, it) okay here we are.. And

the first team if the subject of the sentence is one of these things( I/you/ we

they/ or plural noun )you just don't add anything to the verb.Just put the

verb as it is. Don't add anything .Don't change it at all .Okay..For example:

I like coffee. We study English. Ahmed and Muhammad play

football .So as you can see the verbs here are (like/study/and play) and

nothing has been added to the verbs. So we didn't say "likes" you didn't say "liked"

you didn't say "liking" you didn't say" will like". You just put" like" as it is. Okay. So

these are some examples of the present simple tense if the subject is one of

the first team, okay... Like we said: if the subject is( I/ you/ we

they/or plural). Okay. How can we put these sentences into negative?

We are still talking about this group. okay the same group so if the subject is

one of these (I/you/ we /they or plural noun), just add "don't" if you would like to

change the sentence into negative .For example: I don't like coffee. We don't study

English. Ahmed and Mohammed don't play football. So as you can see we said "don't

like", "don't study", "don't play". Easy, right? what about questions? How can you ask a

question in the present simple tense? First of all you should know that we have two

kind of questions. Yes or no questions and Wh- questions. Okay so now we

are talking about yes or no questions

For example: Do you like swimming? and the answer is: "Yes, I do" or "No,I don't."

Do you like Egyptian food? Yes, I do. No, I don't. So you should start your

question with do and the answer is do or don't. It's easy, okay? You can try some

examples yourself. You can say do you like football? Yes, I do.

No, I don't. okay Wh- questions and we mean

Wh- questions are those questions that start with (where, why how,

who ,when) okay not just do or does

so for example : Where do you live?

I live in Egypt.

When do you get up? I get up at 7 o'clock.

what do they eat for lunch?

They usually eat burgers.

easy ,okay. So now it's time for you to try your own examples. okay that was it

for the first team. what about the second team?

If the subject of the sentence is( he/she/it/ or a singular noun) like Jack James we

should add -s at the end of the verb, to make it in the present simple tense.

For example:

He lives in UAE.

She speaks English.

He plays tennis. Sometimes,

don't just add -s .when should we do this? If the verb ends with one of these

letters( s/z/ch/sh/o/x)we don't add just add -s. We add -es. for example. John

passes the exam .The phone buzzes suddenly.

He watches TV. She washes the dishes. Ahmed goes to

school.

The mechanic fixes the broken car. So,with these examples, we didn't just add -s we

we added -es because the verbs ends with these letters (s/ z/ch/sh /o/x). Now it's your

turn. Try to think of some verbs that end with

these letters and add -es to them. Sometimes ,we should add -ies if the

verb ends with (a consonant letter + y) We should change the "y" into "-ies". For

example: He studies English.

Ahmed carries a heavy bag. As you can see the verbs are "studies" and

"carries". The verb "study" "s-t-u-d-y" before the "Y "we have "D ", so we change the

"Y "into "-ies". The verb "carry" " c-a-r-r-y". It ends with "Y "and before the "Y "there is

"r" ,so change the "y" into "-ies". So that's it for the second team. So, remember if

the subject is (he/ she/ it/or a singular noun)

you can add -s/ -es/ or -ies.

Now, let's talk about negative. How can we change these sentences

into negative. Remember with the first team

we used" don't" but now we use "doesn't"

For example:

She doesn't watch TV.

She doesn't wash the dishes. Ahmed doesn't go to school. As you can see ,after

"doesn't", we just put the verb in the infinitive .By the infinitive we mean :the

verb as it is without anything at the end .We didn't say "she doesn't watches"

right? Wee said "She doesn't watch" so after "doesn't", remember to remove -s

-es or -ies . Just put the verb as it is. Okay...Yes or No questions.

For example: Does he live in Berlin? Yes, he does. No, he doesn't.

wo we started the question with "does" and answer with "does" or "doesn't". it's really

easy. Try it yourself. wh- questions

What does Aml like?

She likes reading books.

Where does she work ?She worls in a bank. So after the Wh- word,

we use "does". And remember all the verbs after "does "are also in the infinitive. so

"what does Aml like? "We didn't say "likes" Remember..! "Where does she work?"

we didn't say "where does she works" we said "work". okay Now we're going to speak

verb to be. Sometimes the verb of a sentence is not

action verb .It's not like ( play or sleep or swim or study or read )sometimes it's

verb to be. V.to.be in the present simple tense is one of these verbs(am/is/are)

so we can say "I am a teacher." you can say "I'm a teacher."

"He is a doctor". "He's a doctor". "She is my sister." "She's my sister."

In negative, just add "not". There is no need to say "don't" or :doesn't". If you have

verb to be in the sentence don't use don't or doesn't. So just to use "not"

after verb to be.

So, "I'm a teacher." "I'm not a journalist." "He's a doctor."

"He isn't a football player."

"She's my sister." "She isn't my wife."

With Yes or No questions, use(am/is/are) at the beginning of the sentence.

don't use (do or does) because you already have verb to be in the sentence.

For example:

"Are you okay?" "Yes, I am". "No,I'm not". "Is he happy?"

"Yes, he is." "No, he isn't." "Are they outside?" "Yes they are" "No they

aren't."

Wh- questions:

"How old are you?"

"I'm 25 years old."

"Where is Sarah?" "She is in the kitchen." so as you can see, we didn't use do or

does in the sentence. We just used (am/is/are) Easy, right? Now what? now we talk

about some of the key words that we can use to express the present simple tense.

We call them: "adverbs of frequency" because we use them

to talk about our habits. How often do we do something ...do we do it every day do we

always do it or do we never do it. Okay as you can see in the picture ,we have

some words and we grade them from 0% to 100% so if you do something all the time

you can use "always", then " , "usually" "often" or "often" , "frequently"," sometimes", "occasionally"

"seldom", " rarely", " never". Never means you don't do it at all .You never do it.

Some other key words that you can use .you can use "once". For example ..."once a week" "once a

month", "once a year". "From time to time" or "every now and then". Okay.. How can we use

adverbs of frequency? Where should we put them in the sentence? we have two places.

First with verb to be .For example: "He is always late." "I am always on time.

" You are never satisfied." As you can see he is always ,I am always ,you're never. we use

adverbs of frequency after verb to be so is usually, is sometimes ,is often, is

never .You didn't say usually is or sometimes is. Okay?

With other verbs. if the verb the sentence is not verb to be . It's easy!

For example :"We sometimes drink tea in the afternoon."

"My brother seldom smokes." So as you can see we put the adverb of frequency

before the verb not after it .So we said "we sometimes drink." We didn't "say we

drink sometimes" no.. no..."My brother seldom smokes". We didn't say "smokes seldom" . Good!

ok What about long time expressions? We can

use them in two places: at the end of the sentence or at the beginning of the

sentence. For example :"I meet my friend every now and then." So we write "every now

and then" at the end of the sentence.

"Once a week, I go to the shopping mall "."so once

a week" is at the beginning of the sentence. That's it !! now you know

everything about the present simple tense.

Creating a Simple Web Page using HTML5 and CSS - Duration: 15:57.

I am using Notepad++ in this video. You may use any editor of your choice

The doctype isn't an actual tag, but it needs to be at start at every HTML page to tell browser which version of HTML you're using (HTML5 in this example)

The html tag is always the first tag in the page. We will begin with the code skeleton of an HTML5 web page.

The head contains "meta" information about the page, information that the browser needs before rendering it.

meta tag specfiies the character encoding of the web page

The title tag specifies the title of the web page (displayed in the title bar)

Each tag has a "start tag" and an "end tag". For example, <title>...</title> The body contains the content of the page.

The body selector refers to the <body> tag. You can use it to change formatting for the contents of the entire web page.

Each tag has a "start tag" and an "end tag". For example, <title>...</title> The body contains the content of the page.

To save your file: File menu > Save As... Enter the file name ("practice1" in this example)

Change the "Save as type" to Hyper Text Markup Language file

It is VERY IMPORTANT that you save the file as an HTML file!

Click "Save"

Notice the color changes in your code (color coding is a nice feature in Notepad++!)

Go to the Run menu. Select Launch in <browser of your choice> to show the page in a browser

Note the title is displayed at the top of the tab. The body is shown in the web page itself.

Next, we will practice using headings and paragraphs.

Add a h1 heading with your name. Add your favorite quote to the page using a blockquote element.

You can enable Word Wrap by going to the View menu > Word wrap. Add a h2 heading "About Me".

Add a paragraph element containing a paragraph introducing yourself.

Remember to save your web page before you test it again in a browser. Go back to the browser window where you

have your web page opened (or reopened the web page in a web browser if necessary).

Refresh the web page (F5 is the typical keyboard shortcut). Take a look and make sure everything

looks as expected.

Next, we will use a list and phrase elements. Let's add to the body of the HTML

document.

Add a h2 heading "My Favorite Things".

Add an unordered list of your favorite food, hobbies, etc. The <ul> tag stands for unordered list.

Use the <li> list item tag to add an item to the list.

The <strong> tag defines a phrase as important (typically displayed in bold)

The <em> tag renders a phrase as emphasized (typically displayed in italics)

Remember to save your web page before testing it again in a browser.

Refresh your web page in the browser. Check that everything looks good.

Next, we will add an image to our web page. Browse to a web page that contains an image that you would like to insert into

your web page.

I will use this image on the Wikipedia page for Calvin and Hobbes.

Right-click the image, and then use the command corresponding to Save image as...

Save the image in the SAME FOLDER AS YOUR HTML FILE. This is very important.

I will save the file with a relatively simple name (all lowercase in one word)

Here I will double-check that the file is downloaded properly.

To see the file properties, right-click the file, then choose Properties. This shows various properties of the file.

Go to the Details tab and see the full filename. Here I see that the image file name is

hobbes.png.

Make sure you make a note of what yours is.

In the HTML document, we will use the <img> tag to add an inline image.

Within the <img> tag, use the src attribute to specify the image file name. The file name should be enclosed in doublequotes.

Since the image is stored in the same folder as the HTML file, you can simply input the file name in the src attribute.

For the alt attribute, provide a short description of your image for accessibility purposes.

The value of the alt attribute should be enclosed in doublequotes.

Save your web page before testing it in a browser.

Refresh your page in a browser. Make sure that the image is displayed properly.

If your image is not displayed, check that the file name is entered correctly in the <img> tag and that your HTML file is

saved.

The page is quite plain right now. Let's use CSS to change the formatting of the page.

Within the <head> section, add the <style> tag.

Curly braces { } are used to enclose CSS style rules. The color property refers to the text color.

There are different ways to specify colors for web pages. Let's find a web resource for web color codes.

Google "HTML color codes"

This web site is http://html-color-codes.info/ This color chart utility allows me pick a color from the palette and obtain the color

code easily

Note the color code here that starts with the # symbol (there are six hexadecimal digits). Copy the code.

Use the code for the color property (place it after color: Put a semicolor after each rule.

The background-color property refers to the background color of the element.

Most common color names are recognized in CSS. For example, black, white, red, green, yellow, blue...

Or experiment with different color picker utilities on the Web.

The font-family property allows you to specify the font face.

Providing a list of names allow the subsequent fonts to be used as fallback in case the first font is not available on the

user's system. You can provide a list of font names, from the most specific to the generic font family

Most common font names are available.

You can also google "web fonts" or "HTML fonts" for web resources that list font names.
