News on Youtube Dec 4 2017

They are the cutest.

So it seems like Disneyland as a whole has decided to open up late this morning.

But we're still monkeying around.

Still monkeying around.

You guys are crazy.

But look at it!

Yeah.

It's raining and it's morning.

Merning, merning time.

Good merning!

And there's nobody here almost.

It's amazing.

Oh my gosh.

This is my favourite movie and I'm so excited to be here for this.

It's zero days till Christmas.

Christmas will be ours!

Here we are in the Haunted Mansion Christmas edition, holiday.

I like I want to cry.

Oh my gosh.

We have a stocking with

a bug in it.

Oh my gosh I think I like that better than the original I know.

Way better.

It's so good.

I love it.

Did you see Sally and her little leg?

Yeah.

Oh look, awwww.

Look at the ears, they're Sally ears.

Awww.

That's so cute.

That is amazing.

Yeah that ride was like way better than the original.

I have to say like that's a cool cool ride but with Jack and the whole nightmare before

Christmas they made it so good.

I couldn't believe it.

Well done Disney way to do.

Everybody eight thumbs up.

Porsche 718 Boxster GTS review - Duration: 5:59.

The sound of the 2.5-liter 4-cylinder boxer turbo engine in the new Boxster isn't its strongest suit.

The GTS has a sport exhaust and it should produce more noise. Let's see.

This is without sport exhaust activated.

And this is with sport exhaust activated.

The soundtrack isn't its strongest suit.

The handling of the Porsche Boxster GTS is fun, though.

That's thanks to a number of things. First, the engine.

They took the 2.5-liter engine from the Cayman and Boxster S and tickled it to 360 hp.

That's 15 hp more than the S models

and 35/25 hp more than the previous generation Cayman and Boxster GTS.

They leveled the field. The Cayman used to be positioned above the Boxster.

Now it's the 718. Period.

That's why the Cayman is cheaper, because coupe, then the convertible GTS. I'll get back to that later.

Let's continue with the engine. 430 Nm (317 lb ft) torque.

A manual transmission or a PDK. You can still choose. That's nice.

The manual transmission has 6 gears, the PDK has 7 gears.

The PDK is faster on the sprint. 0-100 kph (62 mph) in 4.1 seconds.

The manual transmission does this in 4.5 seconds if you know how to shift gears.

The manual transmission is more fun to drive. Unfortunately we have the PDK.

I would've preferred the manual transmission, but it wasn't available.

It can't be helped. The advantage is that it has launch control, which is fun.

External features to help you recognize the GTS.

Double black exhaust tips, black housing of the taillights, and 20 inch satin black rims.

The GTS name on the door.

The Porsche ceramic brakes aren't standard, so that's not a specific GTS thing.

Of course, the logos on the seats. Those stand out the most.

Alcantara upholstery for the steering wheel and gear selector.

Finally, the sport design front bumper.

There's one more thing I want to show you. We're driving this GTS under embargo.

No one is allowed to know we're driving it, so it's all very secret.

This car has probably been in development, because you see duct-tape marks on the GTS logos

to hide the model name. That's fun. This is probably a prototype.

Let's go again. I'm done with walking.

Porsche always does well with the GTS.

You're always waiting for this model because it has all the nice details.

A mechanical diff lock, active suspension management, torque vectoring,

nice details to make it look cooler, a nice interior with the alcantara steering wheel, red gauges...

It's complete. It's a bargain too. You're better off buying a GTS than a full-option 718 S.

That one is more expensive and less fun.

Prices start at 102,000 euros for the Cayman and 107,000 euros for the Boxster GTS.

If you choose the PDK. The manual transmission is more expensive. It is 5,000 euros extra.

You'll have a lot of nice things, though. The handling of this Boxster is great.

It's a real joy.

Only the soundtrack is disappointing. That's the Boxster's problem.

We'll need to learn to live with it. Maybe there'll be a Boxster Spyder and Cayman GT4.

They'll be made, but I wonder what they'll do with the engine.

There are rumors that it'll get a GT3 engine, the naturally aspirated engine from the 911 GT3.

It'll be detuned. However, these are rumors.

I tried to get more info during our dinner with the Porsche product managers yesterday.

A man said they chose for 4 cylinders, so "don't get your hopes up".

On the other hand, he could've been deceiving me.

That would definitely complete the Boxster.

The GT3 engine with 400-425 hp.

And that soundtrack, revving it up to 9,000 rpm.

Until then, the GTS is the one you want.

We got a yellow one to see if it handles differently. - I tried, but it's the same as the red one.

This is the end of our journey. Fun car.

Wonder | Jacob Tremblay, Auggie Pullman | Movie Review - Duration: 5:44.

hey what's up guys how we doing let's talk about Wonder or better yet let's

try to cry since my heartstrings have definitely been tugged since I just got

back from seeing it so the film is directed by Stephen Chbosky who also did

The Perks of Being a Wallflower and is based on the 2012 novel of the same

name by R.J. Palacio it stars some fairly well-known actors such as Julia Roberts

Owen Wilson Mandy Patinkin as well as the young Jacob Tremblay there are also

several newcomers here that I thought did a great job and I will definately

mention them later so we here we have a story about a boy who supposedly has

something along the lines of Treacher Collins syndrome this causes him to have

a certain facial deformity where he is very self-conscious and concerned along

with the rest of his family about what he looks like

and this film essentially is about him taking on going to school as a fifth

grader throughout all of his life August Pullman known as Auggie has been

homeschooled by his mom played by Julia Roberts and Jacob Tremblay's immense

talent is definitely on display here again as he gives another fantastic

performance and is pretty much unrecognizable in that fantastic makeup

but I will say with this characters that he does a really good job at delivering

some humor at times and that was something very refreshing and I was not

expecting to see we get to see a lot of great pop culture references in terms of

things that he really loves and has grown up with like Star Wars as well as

Minecraft the film does a great job of throwing in these random moments where

we get to see his imagination of things like thinking about a particular Star

Wars character for example like Chewbacca I don't know where you'll

literally see Chewbacca on the screen and wonder if you're living in some

alternative Star Wars universe but know you're watching a normal reality type of

movie now what really stood out about this film to me was its storytelling and

the way we transition from seeing everything in Auggie's perspective to

other members of the family and other people it really starts off with Auggie

going through his first day of school and how he had to deal with getting to

realize that there was a lot of people that didn't understand him and we're

going to look at him a certain way even though he's kind of grown up knowing

that and having to deal with a similar issue it's one thing to go from being

homeschooled than going to class full students that are just looking at you

funny what I really liked is how we got to see his older sister as well a lot

named Via short for Olivia and she has to endure what it's like growing up with

a younger brother who gets all this attention and she has kind of been

forced into this role in the family as more of

listener she is portrayed by Isabella Vidovic I hope I pronounced that

right and she was also really good in this film I really enjoyed her character

arc and how they decided to go about doing her story I couldn't find myself

really having a easy time deciding what was more of the focus in this film was

it really all about Auggie was it about his sister was it about everyone I think in the

end that was the answer as we also get to see some of the other characters such

as one of Auggie's friends named Jack Will who's going through a time where he

begins to really understand and get to know Auggie but has these friends which

are kind of giving him a bad influence and are more of the bully type so he's

kind of right in the middle of trying to choose the right side for him in his

life he was played by the young Noah Joop who did a great job as well then we

have Via's childhood friend Miranda played by Danielle Rose Russell and what

I'll say here is seeing these two outside characters that aren't in the

family really brought a great perspective into the overall sense of

how one character seems like they're kind of going down the wrong path and

you're not sure about them but then you really get to hear their story and see

what was causing this and how they're going to change in the future and that's

really what this film tries to get across is that there's two sides to

every story they even use that quote in the film itself it really shows how in

the end every single person is capable of making a positive impact especially

if they've done something wrong in the past they're capable of changing and

making up for it down the line the film is just under two hours and it does a

great job with this transitions it never feels boring I was thoroughly

entertained while watching it the entire time it's very well paced

and while I do think it's right at the perfect length they probably could have

done a little bit more especially since it is based off a book I'm sure there

are things book readers felt might have been left out but for the most part I

didn't really have any issues with that that is of course because I haven't read

the book so I'm very curious for those of you who have what your overall

thoughts were of this film please let me know in the comments now for those of

you looking to see a very family-oriented and dramatic film you're

definitely going to get it here this film is very strong emotionally it's

gonna hit you hard at times it does have moments where there's a lot of ups and

you're really happy and there's gonna be moments where there's a lot of downs and

it gets pretty sad we can't be happy all the time but we also aren't sad all the

time there's always some kind of balance here and there overall this is a very

powerful story that will always need to be told I think it also does a great job

in highlighting the fact that people always have

something deep down that they're fighting their own battle and it's

really hard to judge anyone just from face value or from one little thing that

they do because you never truly know what's going on inside their head this

film's been out for at least a week or two but I think if you guys haven't

already seen it that you definitely got to go and check it out as best you can

and I would probably advise bringing tissues well I didn't actually tear up

in the film there were definitely a few moments where I could've so you know

it's good to be prepared Wonder looks at the world with a deep portrayal of

personal growth and acceptance standing up to bullying at a time where it's

needed more than ever and that's why this film is a diligent pick so what did

you guys like about Wonder are you hoping to check it out soon or read the

book let me know your thoughts and how you feel about maybe comparing the to

what you prefer as well as what your favorite film about bullying or

portraying people that are a little bit different like Jacob Tremblay's

character in this film let me know your thoughts below my name is Dylan and if

you love entertainment subscribe to my channel while this video ends and send

me a thumbs up before you go thanks for watching and stay diligent

Bella Pierre Lip Creme Review... 🎀 try on all 4 colors!💋💄 - Duration: 9:10.

Today we are going to be doing a product review of some lipstick that I got

Hey everybody I'm Giao and welcome to my channel I got some kiss proof

lip cream quad waterproof formula by

bellapierre cosmetics

so these are the colors that I'm going to try on today and

Let's see how they go I've tried one of the colors on today already and it lasted all day these lipsticks are amazing

but I've only tried one color and

For the products review, I'm going to try on all the different colors

So let's open them all up so

These here are all the different colors. This one is called nude

This one is the one that I've tried already and this one is called antique pink. I really like this one

This one is called rose petal

it looks like a really beautiful color, so it's

my top that I'm wearing

and

Also the last color is hothead, so I'm guessing that this is a really bright red color for this lipstick review

I'm going to try the two dark colors first so first

I'm going to try on I'll do the purple because it's the color of my top

day, let's try this on the

First thing I'm going to do is already have some lipstick on, so I'm going to take the lipstick off

I'm going to use a makeup remover wipe and take this off first

And now my lipstick is off I am going to prime it with some of my foundation

Just a little bit

Okay now my lips are primed. I am going to use this

Red color, I'm going to use hothead so first. I'm going to do my upper lip and then I'm going to do my lower lip

So this here is the first color, and I really like it. It's a very beautiful red

And

Because of these colors stay on all day

It's going to be very hard to take off with just a wipe so what I have here is some

organic cold-pressed coconut oil

and what I'm going to do with this organic cold-pressed coconut oil is I'm going to put up my lips and

Let it just soak in for a minute, and then I'm going to wipe it off after that

You can use any oil you want

olive oil

coconut oil any oil that you can use for your face and your lips and

Any oil that is edible you can use over your lips and let it soak in before you wipe it off

Okay now to prime my lips again

So the next color, I'm going to use is this beautiful purple color

It's called rose petal. I was going to use this one first

But I decided I'll do the red one first because the red one might be the most difficult to wipe off

But this one looks like it's quite a dark color as well. They let's see what this one looks like

So this here is the second color

Okay, so let's go into the next color. I'm going to put some coconut oil on my lips again

And let that soak in for one minute this coconut oil really gives a nice shine to this lipstick

Okay now to time it up

This is very messy

Now it's time to prime again

Okay, so the next color I'm going to use is called a nude this here is the nude color

Well this is the nude color

this nude color looks very pink with the complexion of my skin I

Do like it, but it's not my favorite color, but it is nice, okay?

Now on to the last color, so I'm gonna put some coconut oil again

Sometimes you need to put the coconut oil on twice or even three times

Depending on how long the lipsticks been on for .. I'm just going to do it twice this time

Last time

Okay now we are on to the last color this one here. I've tried on already

It's called antique pink and I remember that I really liked.. so I I hope you like this color as well

Well this is the last color, this is antique pink and personally myself, I like this

Lipstick the best that suits my skin

Tone for I think in everyday look this one is my favorite

So what do you think which one was your favorite color?

I definitely liked that antique pink the best and

I would

Use that one the most the red one is probably for more very special occasion if you're going to get dressed up and go out

And have a really big beautiful bright lips

This purple one would be good for doing a dress-up tutorial for

doing you know like a gothic look or a vampire look or something like that this one would be very nice and

Actually, I think the right one would be nice to that too and even maybe even mixing these two together

I think that would be very nice

Maybe the dark purple on the outside and the red on the inside and blending it together

I think that would look really great for these two

And for the lighter colors, um definitely the antique pink was my favorite

I think the nude was probably little bit too light for me, but once again. You know with lipstick and

Experimenting you could always mix these two together or maybe even mix all these together. You know you never know

What kind of color you're going to get so that's a fun thing about makeup well

I hope you enjoyed my video today

And if you like my video subscribe and give me a thumbs up

Because I'm going to have a lot more video for you guys

and if there are any makeups that you would like me to try or

Any tutorials you would like to see from me just leave a comment below, and I would love to hear from you

Up until next time I hope you have an amazing and wonderful fun time with all your family and friends

And I look forward to see you next time bye

Trying Ninebot Xiaomi hoverboard for the first time + SEGWAY Review (ENG SUBS) - Duration: 9:06.

Hello everyone!

Today we will make a review!

We will try a kind of vehicle, that is called...

Segway, right?

It is a name of a company

But today we have Ninebot Xiaomi

Yes, Xiaomi brand

So we will try it out! It's the first time we ride it, right?

You never used it before

Actually, in China I have seen it several times

It is not like everybody has one, but yes, I have seen a lot

In Chile, have you seen this one? When I was in Chile I saw some, but really really few

Ok, lets try it!

Here we are preparing, because we will use the Go Pro! to record how many times we fall from that

Haoyang first's try!

Do you know how to use it?

Take care!

You have to hold me

I will be here with you

How to... how to...!? Nooo

*screams*

(Is he dying? hahaha)

Yes, like this like this

No no no, I need your hand!

But, when you want to turn to there, you need to...

Ah, to the other side

It is like riding a car

Without my hand, without my hand!

But, how to accelerate?

But, but, I want to accelerate...

*screams*

No! noo... no....

How to accelerate?

I don't know, whe have to...

we have to read the manual

Yes

Let me see, I want to try now!

Why is always like this?

Yes yes, you have to be more natural

Like this... yes. Don't... ah ok.

I can not move at all!

Why you can not?

(I did it!)

Yeaah, now I can!

Let me explain you how this hoverboard works

You have to put your feet here

And, the trick to turn, you need to press here with your knees or legs, you have to make pressure to this way or this way

If you can notice, it is now rotating, like this

Here

And, to move forward what I understand is that you have to make pressure here

Yes, now it is moving, like this

To go back, press here

But it's difficult... when you are riding it

Ah! it goes, it goes!

It is really hard when you are riding it

And here, is the turn-on button

Now I have just turned it off. When you turn it off, this lose all the power, it falls

But if I press it again, here, look. It stands automatically by itself, wow!

Here it shows how much battery it has. We charged it all the night

it was around the half when we got it, so now it's full after the whole night charging

And here is the bluetooth conection, because it can connects to the cellphone, to an APP

We will try that soon also

Now we know how to use it! Yay!

Yeah, because when you lean yourself to that way, you are turning to this way

If you lean yourself to this way, you are turning to this way

So we need to coordinate that

(Trying to go further)

Turn ! turn! TURN! Aish...

Why here is faster?

I don't know

I think is because the ground here is smoother

Yes, here I feel I have to make less pressure to move forward

Take care!

Now what we need to train is the fast turns

When you go fast, and you turn!

Can you? Haoyang

Ok, try it

(Playing with the APP)

The App also has this option... not sure what it is, lets try it

Look look!

It's moving!

So you can control it from here?

Yes yes, move it

Oh! it is like a robot! (WALL-E is it you?)

So cute!

And also it has light

It has light?

Yes, it has light at the *butt* (he wanted to say bottom but it sounds like ass in spanish )

At the butt?

Ah! On the button!

(It was light from "bottom" of the hoverboard actually > <)

Yes, yes

Ohh look! it moves it moves!

We will try if it's possible to control it when somebody is standing on that

Lets see

It moves? or no? No.. I think no

No, if there is somebody using it, it can not

Ok! this is today's video!

If you'd like one of these, give us a like!

If you want to know more about it (or life in China), write us a comment and subscribe our channel!

Crypto Edge System Scam Exposed! crypto-edge-system.co Review - Duration: 5:26.

Hi, Guys! FAYSAL here and if you have not yet subscribed to our channel, please do

so and hit the like button if you like our videos. Today i will be

discussing about CRYPTO EDGE SYSTEM and CRYPTO EDGE SYSTEM promises that you can

earn thousands of dollar within a very short period. But their website looks

pretty decent and they won't promise any specific amount that

you can earn and they show how you can trade crypto currencies with the

CRYPTO EDGE SYSTEM. We have found some disturbing elements that we'd like

to discuss. First of all, their website design is not that professional as you

can see that there are some grammatical mistakes that they have done here. ''See

what our cliens are saying''. Actually, it will be ''clients are saying''!

I would like to show you that when the CRYPTO EDGE SYSTEM

was registered. You see crypto-edge-system.co website

was registered on 22nd November 2017 that means it's not even a week older

but they are promising you thousands of dollars! In support of that they

display some testimonials over here as you can see that this guy says how much

money he has made with CRYPTO EDGE SYSTEM and there are more testimonials. But

we would like to show you

this particular guy is a professional actor and he has appeared in many scam

video promotions. You can see there is the guy selling his gigs on fiverr.com

for 5 bucks and he says he'll create a natural spokesperson video in 24 hours!

You see, he is wearing the same t-shirt and here is the guy and there

are many more! We have spotted this particular guy because he's a known

professional actor and here is the exact same guy selling his gigs on Fiverr.com

for 20 dollar as you can see.

This particular guy is also appeared in many scam video promotions that is our

problem. Using professional actors are not that bad but the actors

who appears in scam video promotions are not good. You see him appearing in ''Moscow

Millionaire'' and we have marked Moscow Millionaire as a scam before and he

acted as the CEO of Moscow Millionaire. Interestingly the Moscow millionaire web

site has already shut down their business because it was a biggest scam

that launched a couple of months ago.

Considering all these aspects into consideration, we definitely not

recommend you this CRYPTO EDGE SYSTEM and if you are looking for a legitimate

crypto trading software then I put some links in the description below.

You analyze it, you review it and if you find them useful, then you can use it

or you may not. It's up to you. It's not because I am telling you to try these

softwares but we have got good results with these software and crypto trading

softwares. That is it. Stay safe and don't get scammed!

What is Open Peer Review? - Duration: 4:09.

Hi there.

I am John Bond from Riverwinds Consulting and this is Publishing Defined.

Today I am going to talk about open peer review.

To start off, peer review is the process of subjecting an author's scholarly work or research

to the scrutiny of experts in the same field, before a paper describing this work is published

in a journal.

Peer review is the bed rock of scholarly or academic work and a well-established quality

control.

Peer review requires a community of experts and has traditionally been anonymous.

Journal peer review has used single blind or double-blind peer review.

See a link at the end of this video for more information on the differences between these.

A recent development in this area has been open peer review.

There are three different types of open peer review.

First is open-identity or attributed peer review which means the reviewer's names

are made public.

Traditionally, blinded peer review has been the norm.

With open-identity the reviewer's names are part of then part of the record of publication

and can be considered when evaluating the work.

The next type is open-disclosure peer review.

This means that the substance of the reviews, that is the reviews and comments themselves,

are publicly available.

It has also been called public peer review or transparent peer review.

The final flavor is open-invitation peer review which means that anyone can contribute to

the peer review process.

This becomes a continuous process, even after publication.

This has this most impact in a rapidly evolving area.

Open peer review dates back to the 1990s and has had many journals experiment with it in

one form or another.

Sometimes they have gone back to the traditional system and other times have kept open peer

review in place.

The results continue to be mixed.

Do reviewers give honest feedback when the system is open?

Do the best or most important reviewers shy away from this option, to the detriment of

the content?

Does it add to time to publication by delaying the review process as reviewers are secured?

Are the benefits to the readers and authors meaningful, modest, or negligible?

There have been some interesting studies with self-reported survey findings and more research

would be helpful.

Peer review, deservedly so, will continue to evolve.

As scholarly content and ideas seek the quickest way to market and as readers seek an assurance

of lack of bias and that the best idea come to the fore, peer review will need to adjust

to fit the market.

Well that's it.

I've released a new eBook called, "Scholarly Publishing: A Primer."

It is a short, focused guide on some of the essential topics that are integral to academic

publishing.

Starting with the basics of scholarly publishing, it then moves onto the specifics of book and

journal publishing, then marketing and promotion, then to organizations and standards, then

to rights and licensing, and finally it looks at trends in publishing.

It was born out of videos on this channel.

BMW M5 - AutoWeek Review - English subtitles - Duration: 7:56.

If I were to ask you which version of the previous 5-series...

was the quickest from 0-100, you'd say the M5.

And you'd be right, but it's a shared first place.

According to the factory, a 550i with xDrive is just as fast; 4,4 seconds.

That doesn't say everything, but it says a lot.

Mostly, it means BMW M has to choose. Will they stick to traditional values,

less power but focused on puristic circuit driving, or will they embrace new technologies,

to keep up in the horsepower-race with RS and AMG.

They chose the latter. This is the new M5.

More gears, more power, and more powered wheels.

If the puristic M5-driver was scared already by the last M5, where the atmospheric engine was replaced by a turbocharged one,

they'll most certainly go ballistic because of how far BMW has strayed...

from their traditional values.

It'll now has four-wheel drive and an automatic gearbox. And not an automatic gearbox with a double clutch,

a full automatic gearbox. One with a torque converter.

It's almost the same 8-speed ZF-gearbox you'll find in other 5-series, albeit with a very different approach.

Also, four-wheel drive. That has some advantages.

Again, its rear-wheel drive predecessor did 0-100 in 4,4 seconds, but this new one takes off a second.

3,4 seconds from 0-100, and that's incredibly quick.

Despite it now has four-wheel drive, it's lighter.

For that, it's borrowed a trick from the M3; a carbon fibre roof,

and a few small parts which save a few grams each.

A few here, a few there, sometimes a small kilogram saved,

and it total, it means it's 15 kg lighter than its predecessor.

To meet the purists in the middle, the four-wheel drive isn't permanent.

Indeed. Most of the time, it's a rear-wheel drive car, unless something else is necessary.

You can control it yourself as well. If you take a look at the settings,

you've got the M xDrive, which has three settings.

You've got four-wheel drive. Essentially, that's just rear-wheel drive,

but when the rear wheels start losing traction, the front wheels will kick in.

But if you switch it into "Sports"-mode, the four-wheel drive will switch with it.

Four-wheel drive Sport. That means there'll always be more power sent to the rear wheels.

Even on the moment you'll lose traction, the rear is allowed to slide about a bit.

The M-differential also sends more power to the outer wheel, to enable the agility and the drifting ability you'd expect from a M-car.

And if you dare, you can hold the ESP-button for a few seconds.

That way, you'll completely disengage it. That gives you access to two-wheel drive.

Just the rear wheels...

That drift-mode is nice and all, but it isn't without a risk.

If you want to engage that two-wheel drive mode, you'll have to disengage the ESP.

Not in Sports Mode, but completely turned off.

That's when you get 600 horsepower and 700 Nm on the rear wheels. You can imagine; that's a bit tricky.

We're driving in Portugal now, and it has been raining.

Because that doesn't happen very often in Portugal, so as a result every piece of filth and oil will arise from the tarmac when it does rain.

So it's incredibly slippery.

And if you do engage two-wheel drive on this surface, it reminds me of the previous time I drove a M5.

That was in the Netherlands. It was wet, and the M5 in question was a 30-jahre Edition.

That had 600 horsepower as well, but for what I knew, it could've been 400.

It's almost impossible to put those last 200 horsepower on the tarmac, you can't use them.

Also, everytime you give a tad too much throttle, the car escapes from you, so you have to know what you're doing.

You have to stay alert. It's nice that this car gives you the opportunity to do something like that,

if you like that and you trust yourself, you can engage the two-wheel drive.

It's probably better for most drivers to engage 4WD Sport. That way, the ESP will go into Sports mode,

but you'll still get the agility. And it'll let you go all the way,

the ESP only kicks in if you're completely the other way round, and if the four-wheel drive isn't able to save you anymore.

In essence, the power is still directed to the rear wheels.

Only when you're in the correct angle to drift, the power will be sent forward.

If that isn't enough, the ESP will kick in.

It gives you the possibilty to use all of the capacities the chassis offers you, but with a safety net.

And it's got very big capacities.

Earlier today, we were on the circuit of Estoril.

You do notice it's very heavy. It's 15 kg lighter than its predecessor, but it's still just off 2000 kg.

For a circuit car, that's too much.

The balance they've found though, really is incredible.

There's barely any roll in the car, barely any understeer,

and the moment you get to the point that the front-wheels start losing grip, you give it a little extra throttle and you can feel the back pushing.

It turns into such a well-balanced machine. It isn't a circuit monster, but incredibly balanced. It's really good.

The steering is direct enough. Not too much feedback, but a decent amount.

You'll know what you can and cannot do.

You can steer it with the throttle and great steering, and that really is fantastic.

And it's without you having a heart attack every two minutes.

Incredible. The drivetrain however...

Well... It isn't as good. Don't get me wrong, it really is a rocket,

it's crazy quick. 0-200 in 11,1 seconds,

and that isn't necessarily slow than an Audi R8 V10 Plus, so it's supercar speed.

Only... The sound...

It's kind of flat, just like a turbo engine.

It'll keep flat. There's a nice rumble to it,

but it doesn't change when you put your foot further down. It won't start to live.

You won't get goosebumps from the noise. It's powerful and it reacts in a good way,

but other than that? It's not a treat to the ears.

The gearbox stands out in a positive way. It shifts fast, smooth, and you can shift back multiple times in a quick fashion.

Only when you're on a circuit you'll notice, that when you really hit the brakes and you have shift back three gears,

the old M-DCT gearbox hit hard and dry, but this doesn't.

This is 5 ms off the pace, and that something you'll notice on a circuit.

But again, this isn't so much of a circuit tiger.

And you shouldn't look at it like that. It's more of a car which can create sensation at any time you need.

Also, as opposed to it's predecessor... Even though it misses a tad of sharpness,

you get so much daily usability in return.

Also, unlike its predecessor, this definitely is the fastest sprinting 5-series around...

2018 Toyota Sienna - Review and Road Test - Duration: 6:43.

one way to be cool is to not care if anyone thinks you're cool on a related

topic minivans take that Toyota Sienna nobody's gonna buy it to impress the

neighbors but I think there's something really cool about a car that understands

and embraces its purpose okay Toyota does soften their minivans responsible

image with various styling flourishes but the Sienna isn't trying to hide its

van this even with a big old grill it's a box on wheels and that nature is

perfectly aligned with the needs of families offered in seven and eight seat

configurations interior varies from simple to luxurious with higher trims

offering leather trimmed 2nd row captains chairs with built-in Ottomans

and long slide abilities in the second and third rows the Toyota Sienna holds

advantages in head shoulder and hip room versus the Honda Odyssey but legroom is

a little bit tighter so good luck shuttling Tony Robbins, Shaquille O'Neal

and the slender man to ice cream

I might not lead in leg room but the Sienna does hold a slight edge in cargo

capacity with a generous 39.1 cubic feet behind the third row it's more than

double that number just lower the convenient flat folding third row ditch

the second row seats and you've got a flat easily accessible 150 cubic feet to

work with for perspective that's 25% larger than Toyota's full-size Sequoia

SUV advantage minivan it should be mentioned however that removing the

second row seats is a total pain if you only fold and slide the second row

forward cargo capacity lands around 118 cubic feet slightly lower than the

Sequoia elsewhere the interior is smartly arranged with good ergonomics

and inoffensive styling the cabin also boasts countless practical touches

including two glove compartments grippy front seat for storage a deep center

console for child seat latch points plenty of cup and bottle holders easy

third row access a handy conversation mirror for observing action Outback and

available rear sunshades so you'll never have to explain that bright fiery orb in

the sky to your kids moving all Siena's is a strong 3.5 liter v6 matched to a

competent 8-speed automatic transmission

when asked the powertrain has more than enough juice to haul a full load of

people tow 3,500 pounds or spin the tires if you want to drive like a jerk

and I do

running on 87 octane the Toyota Sienna returns nearly best-in-class fuel

economy take note highway efficiency dropped several mpg when you add

all-wheel drive that's right the Toyota Sienna is the only choice if you want an

all-wheel drive minivan moving down the road the Sienna cruises quietly and it

rides well blind spot monitoring is available but even without it decent

visibility allows for low stress lane changes at the same time low effort

steering means your arms aren't going to get the tone and definition you

desperately desire when parking save that for the cargo area

if for some reason you seek a minivan that thrills choose a Sienna SE like our

tester it's slightly more aggressive styling sport-tuned suspension and 19

inch wheels delivers the kind of engaging experience minivan drivers just

go wild for and just so you know a regular non-SE Sienna looks like this

somewhat less sporty but really who cares price-wise the Toyota Sienna

occupies the same spectrum as the highly practical Honda Odyssey and the cleverly

executed Chrysler Pacifica which is incidentally the only minivan offered as

a plug-in hybrid for a bargain alternative the slightly smaller Kia

Sedona can be had for less than $28,000 and includes a long 10-year 100,000 mile

powertrain warranty conversely Toyotas tend to hold their

value really well over time making the Sienna a smart long-term investment to

the extent a constantly depreciating asset can be called an investment in

elemental guise the Toyota Sienna includes three zone automatic climate

control a backup camera and two an infotainment with navigation power

windows though these bad boys only open about 60% or so and Toyota's safety

cents P a suite of active safety technology including dynamic cruise

control automatic high beams pre collision warning with pedestrian

detection and lane departure warning with steering assist filling out the

added cost feature set are leather power sliding doors rear parking sensors a

power liftgate passive entry with push-button start a 16.4 inch

rear seat entertainment system with Android device streaming capabilities

driver easy speak which amplifies your voice for rear seat passengers "we get it,

it's a complicated shot" and a 360-degree camera system though we

wish to Toyota offered it on lower trims but to be fair at least they offer it

Honda one additional cool feature is a factory installed Auto access seat that

enables easy second row access for passengers who need mobility assistance

I've said it before minivans do the same job as most SUVs just more effectively

and without the rugged pretence if anything we should praise minivans like

the Toyota Sienna for being honest and ego free it reliably does its job and

doesn't care all that much what you think about it in that spirit if you'd

rather be defined by what you do then what you drive you deserve a high five

and if you also need to haul stuff and people it might be time to test drive a

minivan
