BREAKING ALERT: Popular American Snack Just RECALLED…

Authorities Urging Public To THROW AWAY IMMEDIATELY!!!

Health Nut Factory Recalls Organic Coconut Smiles Because Of Possible Health Risk

Healthy Nut Factory of Bayside, NY is recalling 7 oz.

Pouches of Organic Coconut Smiles because it has the potential to be contaminated with

Salmonella, an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children,

frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems.

Healthy persons infected with Salmonella often experience fever, diarrhea (which may be bloody),

nausea, vomiting and abdominal pain.

In rare circumstances, infection with Salmonella can result in the organism getting into the

bloodstream and producing more severe illnesses such as arterial infections (i.e., infected

aneurysms), endocarditis and arthritis.

Product was distributed and sold at retail stores in New York City and Long Island.

The Health Nut Factory Brand ORGANIC COCONUT SMILES 7 OZ, are packaged in green rice paper

pouches, UPC Code: 8 13449 02099 3.

The expiration date 6/1/2018, is found on the back of the pouch.

No illness have been reported to date related to the Health Nut Factory Brand Product.

The FDA is investigating a multi-state outbreak of Salmonella Typhimurium infections linked

to dried coconut.

Testing by the FDA has confirmed that Salmonella, matching the outbreak strain, was found in

a retail package distributed by our supplier, International Harvest.

The recall was initiated after we were notified by our distributor that product with expiration

date 6/1/2018 purchased on 8/21/2018 might contain Salmonella.

We have ceased production and distribution of the product as FDA and the company continue

their investigation as to what caused the problem.

Consumers that have purchased the Organic Coconut Smiles from August 22, 2018 through

November 20, 2018 in 7 oz. pouches should return unused product to the store where it

was purchased for a full refund.

Consumers with questions may contact Healthy Nut Factory at 718-224-5096

How to use the Court of Public Opinion to find new plaintiffs or defendants for your cases - Duration: 2:59.

In certain types of lawsuits, such as harassment or discrimination suits, there

might be additional plaintiffs and defendants out there that could

drastically alter the landscape of a case. More plaintiffs can lead to higher

jury verdicts and settlement value, as could more and potentially deeper-pocketed

defendants. But many attorneys don't know these plaintiffs or defendants are out

there and don't know how to find them. In this video, I'll tell you how engaging

the Court of Public Opinion can help find additional plaintiffs and defendants.

I'm Wayne Pollock and you're watching Copo Talk. In this episode, using

the Court of Public Opinion to find additional plaintiffs and defendants who

could help you resolve your case more favorably and at a higher value. There are

often plaintiffs and defendants out there who could come in to a case but

the attorneys don't know those plaintiffs are out there or those

defendants are out there, and the plaintiffs don't know that there is

someone who is bringing a lawsuit that matches the type of wrongdoing—or

alleged wrongdoing—that they feel that they've suffered. A funny thing happens

when attorneys engage the Court of Public Opinion and generate public

interest and media interest in their cases. People read the news. People share

the news. And they start to get more awareness of a particular case against a

particular defendant. And people come out of the woodwork and they say, "Hey! That

defendant also harassed me" or "discriminated against me" or someone says,

"Hey! I know that this other company did that type of thing because I suffered

that same type of wrongdoing." And now, these plaintiffs have an attorney—YOU.

Based on publicity, they know where to find you. And they

contact you. And all of a sudden, in one particular case, you have more plaintiffs.

Or you have a new case with additional plaintiffs and new defendants based on

this public interest and media interest in your case. But guess what, these people,

these potential plaintiffs, they're not reading court dockets. They're not

reading court filings. They're not reading press releases that are put on

news release wires like PR Newswire and BusinessWire. And they're not reading

your press release—your press releases on your firm's

website. They're reading the news and they're reading social media. When attorneys

engage the Court of Public Opinion and generate public interest and media

interest in their cases, funny things begin to happen—and plaintiffs might

come to your office bearing gifts. If you like this video, please subscribe to our

YouTube page. And if you want more information about Copo Strategies and

Until next time, thanks for watching.

What is Public Health? // NPHW #1 - Duration: 2:38.

Many of you have asked me what public health is.

Here's a good example:

Imagine three friends walking in the woods.

They see a river and notice there are people drowning.

Near the end, there is a waterfall.

One of the friends decide to jump in and save people who are most at risk of falling down the waterfall.

The other friend runs to an area away from the waterfall and makes a raft to bring people to safety.

They look to find the third friend running in the opposite direction of the flowing river.

That friend ran up there to find the cause of the problem and stop it to prevent more people from drowning.

Using that example to compare to the real world,

the friend that ran to save people near the waterfall are the ER doctors and first responders.

They're there to help in case of emergencies or for medical treatment.

The second friend that made the raft are your primary care providers and nurses.

They manage your ongoing conditions, give you annual checkups, and make sure your vaccinations are up to date.

The third friend that went upstream are public health professionals,

who are responsible to find the root cause and stop it, and to prevent health issues from increasing.

50% of health issues or diseases are preventable.

Public health is the practice of preventing disease and promoting good health for people.

Research and policy is critical for public health.

With research, we can find the cause, which region and population groups

are most impacted, and develop intervention strategies.

In the future, we use research to review the intervention strategies, see if it's worked,

and make adjustments for improvement.

Policy is critical and has a huge impact on the health of our population.

For example, ADA laws require communication access for deaf people in healthcare.

A healthy public means people will get sick less frequently and spend less money on healthcare.

This means better economic productivity and an improved quality of life for everyone.

Public health is very important.

Stay healthy!
