hi friends welcome to my channel kitchen to kitchen if you have not

latest notifications immediately today I'm gonna share with you Mix vegetable

curry recipe that's extremely easy to make and tastes delicious an excellent

option for a roti chapati or a poori let's see how to make it in a grinder

add about three to four garlic cloves some fresh coconut and some cilantro

grind everything to a fine paste like this add water if needed to make the

paste let's take it out in a bowl

nice and fresh let's keep it on the side

In a kadhai or a pan add 2 to 3 teaspoons of cooking oil and 2 teaspoons of coconut

oil once hot add mustard seeds and as the start to crackle add the cumin seeds

and some hing give this a quick toss to this tempering now add 1 medium onion

finely chopped and fry well

to speed up the process of frying the onions you can add some salt and give it

a mix now add one small potato chopped into

media pieces and give it a mix

turn the flame to medium and cover and cook for 2 to 3 minutes after about 3

minutes let's open give it a quick stir now we'll start adding the other

vegetables here I have some frozen vegetables peas carrots green beans and

some yellow corns one small cauliflower or half of a big cauliflower cut into

small florets give everything a good mix now we are going to cover and cook it on

a medium flame for about 3 to 5 minutes you can always add some additional

vegetables of your choice too like some beetroot or cabbage or mushrooms or even

green red or bell peppers whatever you like now add the freshly made green

paste and start adding these spices 1 TSP of turmeric 1 TSP of store-bought

kitchen King masala 2 teaspoons of red chili powder and some salt give

everything a really good mix make sure all the vegetables are coated with the

green paste and all the spices this will take about 30 to 40 seconds

now cover and cook it for seven to eight minutes on a medium low flame after 8

minutes let's open and check an amazing aroma of all the vegetables green paste

and the spices will start to come from the pan now give it a good mix cover and

cook it for 2 to 3 minutes on a low flame after about 3 minutes let's add

some water I have just washed my grinder and added half a cup of water

one teaspoon of our chili powder to give that nice tangy flavor keep everything a

good mix

I wouldn't cook it for another two to three minutes after adding water let's

open and check after three minutes the curry is almost ready just give it a

quick stir I just gonna let it cook for another minute or so without the lid to

get all that extra water evaporated and make the curry dry it's ready now switch

off the flame and garnish with some coriander leaves let's serve it this mix

vegetables curry goes really well with a roti chapati or a poori or even as a

side item with your Dal (rice) Chawal (lentils) hope you've enjoyed today's recipe please

WELCOME TO JAYAS HOMELY RECIPES

we can make a simple vegetable pulao

this is an ideal lunch box recipe

soak 1/2 cup of washed long grain basmathi rice,

for half an hour

strain the water from the rice

you can take vegetable as you like

take 1/2 cup vegetables

i have taken chopped carrots, beans and green peas

salt to taste

1 whole green chiily

2 piece cinnamon, 1 cardamon, 1 clove

1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste

and 3 mint leaves

1 tsp ghee

3/4th cup of water

heat a pressure cooker

add ghee to it

when ghee gets heated up, add the whole masalas

add ginger garlic paste

add green chilly and vegetables

then add rice and saute it for 3 minutes

then add water and salt

add pudhina leaves, mix well

close the pressure cooker

cook it for 1 whistle

Now simple and easy veg pulav is ready

The GoPro Hero 2018 has arrived and we've snapped-up a sample to crack-on.

On the surface, it looks identical to the Hero5 and Hero6 Black but it's half the

price.

However, it's still double the price of many other entry-level action cameras.

Can the Hero 2018 really appeal to the mass market at the price?

Let's not forget that the Hero isn't the first entry-level Hero camera from GoPro.

A GoPro Hero entry model appeared in 2014 and met with limited success.

With touch screen and voice control and we think it's going to be a runaway success.

The design of the GoPro Hero 2018 is identical to the GoPro Hero6.

You can only tell the difference by the HERO logo without a version number printed on the

side.

As with the 5 and 6 the Hero features a cage system waterproof down to 10m.

The touchscreen is the same 2-inch affair as we've seen before.

All the buttons are in the same position as on the Hero5 Black and Hero6 Black.

As with the 5 and 6 the lens can be easily removed and replaced if needed.

The feature list is pretty short.

GoPro Hero is designed to be used rather than faffed around with, meddling with settings.

It's apparent that this is a stripped down GoPro for those who just want to get out and

have fun.

The sensor in the Hero 2018 hasn't been announced, but suffice to say it's not the

GP1 chip.

If it is the GP1, then it's been massively restricted.

The resolution options are 1440 or 1080, but there is no 4K video mode.

Each resolution offers a frame-rate of either 30 or 60fps.

As well as video mode there's Photo, Burst, Time Lapse Video and Time Lapse Photo.

Time Lapse photo is only available at 1080p.

Photos can only be taken at 10mp.

This limit on options continues through the rest of the camera with each mode offering

a short list – if any.

The lens has the usual wide GoPro field of view that gives footage the distinctive fish-eye

look.

However, in each of the resolution options, you have the choice of Wide, Medium or Narrow

field of view.

Alongside the shooting modes, you also have the option to switch on basic video stabilisation

and Auto Low Light mode.

Although the design is the same as the Hero6, the camera is not (at the time of writing)

compatible with the Karma Drone or Grip.

I'm Jazz, your personal English teacher, and today we are looking at

Passive in the Present and Past Simple

So, what is a passive sentence and what is an active sentence?

Let's start by looking at these examples:

"Somebody discovered Reunion in the 17th century."

This is an active sentence.

Somebody is the subject, Reunion is the object.

Now let's look at this other example where we're going to use:

"Reunion was discovered in the 17th century."

This is a passive sentence.

"Reunion" is the subject.

Active sentences are used to say what a subject does:

"The postman delivers letters every day."

"Everybody in Reunion really loves rougail saucisse."

Passive sentences are used to say what is done to a subject, for example:

"The letters are delivered every day."

"Rougail saucisse is really loved in Reunion."

Did you notice the difference?

So, why do we use passive sentences?

A passive sentence is used when we don't know who does the verb, or it's not important,

for example: "My car was stolen last night."

(we don't know who stole the car, I mean, that would be good!)

Another example is: "Was this table built in Reunion?" (it doesn't matter who built

the table.)

If we want to mention who did the verb in the passive sentence, use "by", for example:

"My car was stolen by a local criminal."

"This table was built in Reunion by local carpenters."

So now we're going to move on and have a look at how we form passive sentences.

A passive sentence is formed by using Be + Past Participle.

For example: "was known", "is spent", "are

shown", "are produced" etc…

The present simple passive is formed using "am / is / are" + past participle.

For example: "I am employed by a local company."

"It is thought that rougail saucisse is delicious."

"We are gathered here today to say goodbye to Bob."

Whereas The past simple passive is formed using 'was

/ were" + past participle.

So we're going to look at some examples for that:

"I was employed by a local company.

Then I got fired."

Another example: "We were known to be quite noisy as children."
