Denzel Washington, born in 1954 is popular all over the world as an extremely talented

actor.

Apart from that he is also known as a film director and producer.

He is the second Afro-American who twice became a prize winner of the Oscars for the best

actor and the best actor of the supporting role.

Not only Washington is successful in a professional career but also in family life, being a great

father to 4 children and a loyal husband.

A famous actor met his wife, Pauletta Washington while co-starring in a TV show.

Their relationship and marriage that lasts for many years is a role model for many Hollywood

couples for whom divorce is a usual thing.

Denzel is sure that the main secret of a successful and happy marriage is understanding between

each other as well as what love is.

For him, marriage is not an everyday vacation but a hard work.

Pauletta totally agrees with her husband.

While Denzel is a real star at cinema and different stages, she is the only star at

home – as the actor says.

Just for you to know, they have been married since 1983!

The couple's first son, John David was born in 1984.

Unsurprisingly, but as in many families who have any bond to the film industry, he was

much expected to become a great actor.

And at the age of 9 he had his first debut in "Malcolm X" which wasn't a success

at all.

This brought John to a decision to do what he really likes – play football.

He was playing professionally for NFL and due to this built his own identity.

Katia Washington, a second child in a family was born in 1987.

She is well-known in a movie industry but not because she is an actress but due to her

father's name.

Katia already has such achievements as being an alumnus at Yale, an independent lady and

a future famous actress who works hard on it.

Everyone is sure she will reach all goals and heights.

Olivia Washington is 4 years younger than Katia and is popular for the roles in such

movies as Mr Robot, Madoff and others.

Malcolm Washington is the twin brother to Olivia and is a graduate at Yale.

Being a student Malcolm was doing great in sports and was even thinking to make a career

in basketball.

Yet then changed his mind and entered show business, working as a co-director for Spike Lee.

Washington DC Tour - Trip Hacks DC Monumental Trivia - Duration: 2:57.

You asked for a tour that can be booked per person, and I have developed exactly that. In this video

I'm going to provide details about my brand new Trip Hacks DC trivia tour and

information about how you can sign up. If this is the first Trip Hacks DC video that you're watching, Hello! My name is Rob.

I'm a tour guide here in the nation's capital. On this channel

I'm committed to giving you my best tips, tricks, and hacks for exploring the city,

so if you're interested in that sort of thing

make sure to subscribe to the channel and hit the bell notification icon so that you don't miss any new videos.

Until now all of the tours that I have offered through Trip Hacks DC have been private tours.

You can click over here for a detailed explanation about how that works,

but the basic answer is that with a private tour you pay per group rather than per person.

I've gotten to meet a lot of great people and a lot of great families on my private tours,

and thank you if you're watching and you've toured with me before; but one of the most frequent emails that I get are from people

who are traveling solo or with their partner, and they say something like "I really want to take a Trip Hacks DC tour,

I just can't swing paying for a private tour." And I totally get that - and that is why I've developed my new trivia tour.

Right now it is on the calendar for every Saturday night

during June, July and August of 2018. If it turns out to be really popular

I might add additional nights, or extend it into the fall, but for now we're going to do Saturday nights

and see how it goes. It is a three-hour tour that covers all of the major

monuments and memorials on the National Mall. The cost is

$49 per person, so for a couple that would be

$98. And because I truly believe that small groups are necessary for the best tour experience,

I'm capping each tour at 12 people,

which is one of the lowest caps in the entire industry. The other thing to mention is that in order to promote a little friendly

competition among your new friends that you'll meet, I have created the trivia tour. My

inspiration for this is from the pub trivia games that we have here in DC and really all over the world.

I participate in these

occasionally when I'm not out giving a tour

and they're always a lot of fun. The trivia questions on my tour will be a mix of history and

current events, and at the end of the tour whoever has the most points wins a little prize.

I think it's gonna be a really fun time. If you want to sign up for this tour

here is what you need to do: head on over to TripHacksDC.com or click the link in the video description.

Navigate over to the trivia tour page and then under the description

find the booking calendar. Find the date that you want a tour, then fill in your name and contact information.

Before clicking "book and pay" please double check to make sure that you have selected the correct number of tickets. Everyone in your group,

including kids, needs a ticket. If all looks good

then go ahead and click or tap the "book and pay" button. That will redirect you over to PayPal where you can complete the

secure checkout, and hopefully I will see you on tour this summer.

And if you want to see all of the tours that I offer you can click on the Capitol dome on the left side of

my head right now

to head over to TripHacksDC.com. And if you want to sign up for more tips and hacks videos make, sure to subscribe

to the channel by clicking on the Trip Hacks DC logo that's popping up right now at the bottom of the screen. Enjoy your trip!

Is It Time for George Washington University to Change Its Name? - Duration: 2:46.

Controversy has been raging across our country as people tear down

objectionable monuments and change the names of institutions that connote evil.

I'm Ami Horowitz and I'm here on the campus of George Washington University

named after our first president and also a slave owner.

I wonder if students here think we should keep the name or change it?

Do you think it's time for us to consider changing the name of the University?

Ooh, I don't know that I have an opinion. This question's putting me in a fix. I can't decide.

Do you think we should consider changing the name of the University?

Um, I think it's definitely worth having a discussion about it.

Gosh that's really a hard question there's so much that goes into the name of an institution.

I don't think I can answer that, but I'd say I'd like to hear more opinions.

Personally, I would change the name.

I think that it should be changed. I think that recognition is super important and I think that...

Ami: Recognition of ?

recognition for who he was as a person.

I don't agree with the slave trade, so um... so yeah.

Ami: Would you change the name if you could do it?

Yeah. Yeah, sure.

That was 1776. It's 2018 and I think it's important that we

realize and reupholster the systems that built us.

Sure, I think we should change the name.

I would probably change the name, but I would do so universally.

Like if I were to change the name of GW, then I would advocate that things named after

slave holders in general should be changed.

We've sort of retrospectively mythologized this this concept of liberty and freedom.

We just recently got rid of the Nathan Bedford Forrest statue that was in Overton Park

so, I mean, just keeping in line with like...

Ami: And this is kind of similar?

Uh, yeah.

It's not to say that he wasn't an important man back then, it's just saying that in this day

and age it's not as important, I don't think.

Ami: What's the first thing comes to mind when I say George Washington?

I think about him owning slaves, yeah.

The hypocrisy of slavery.

Ami V.O.: Thank God not everybody felt this way.

Ami: Do you think it's time to change the name of this University?

Absolutely not. This is one of our founding fathers. If we forget Liberty;

if we forget the intrinsic nature behind the founders' philosophy of liberty,

then what exactly do we have?
