Washington D.C."Local station WJLA spoke to a witness who claimed that an individual
with a machete and a handgun went into the Interest Section of Iran, part of the Pakistan
Embassy, and wanted a passport.
The individual then reportedly used a pistol to hit a man stationed at the front desk.
The witness told the outlet that the individual was yelling in Arabic and running to an upper

"Secret Service protective operations were not affected during this time," the statement

A crazed Muslim who doesn't belong here was caught before he could commit a terror
attack.
Good job guys.
Make no mistake- there are a ton of radical Muslims here and frankly, I wish the DOJ and
all the oter agencies would tell the democrats to f off and round up all these evil Muslim
piles of sh*t and get them the hell out of my country.

Washington Middle School's Poetry Open Mic Night - Duration: 1:26.
The lights were dimmed for some cool rhymes
and smooth rhythms by our Washington Middle School
7th grade students during their poetry open mic night.
These student poets presented original poems to a small,
intimate crowd that gathered at the Five Flags Center.
It was like an open mic night that
they might do at a coffee shop.
A lot of the things we do in school,
we try to make it real world
but it's hard when we're in school.
So having them go to a venue outside of school
made it more real world.
Before stepping up to the mic,
Washington students spent time in the classroom
crafting their writing skills by using
poetic devices that helped shape their collection
of original Haikus, Odes, Free Verse and more.
I thought it was pretty fun.
I felt like I learned a lot about poetry.
It can be about anything you really wanted it to be.
Some people express themselves and so then it can
maybe help other people learn more about that person.
When our young Maya Angelous
and Ralph Waldo Emmersons took the stage,
their vulnerable words and expressions
showcased an inspiring experience.
However, sometimes when it comes to putting
your art out there for the world to see
a little courage helps.
Someday in your life you're going to have to
go up on a stage and say something in front of people.
And it's good to learn now and beforewards
I was very nervous and then afterwards
I wanted to do it again, it was really fun.
Snaps to our Washington Middle School poets
for sharing your words and writings with our community.
