The Roush cold air intake is a good choice for your '11 to '14 at 6.2-liter Raptor.

If you're looking to replace the stock air-box and paper filter for the more effective intake

that will slightly improve horsepower and torque while giving you a small bump in throttle

response and fuel efficiency as well.

This does not require a tune unlike some of the other options in the Raptor category,

but it is not carb certified, so it's not legal in all fifty states.

Installation, obviously, is going to be super straightforward, so expect one out of three

wrenches on our difficulty meter, which I'll walk you through it later on.

Roush obviously makes just about everything for F-150s and Raptors.

Everything from performance parts like superchargers and intakes, to appearance and customization

type parts.

These filters will add to that performance because they are made using two layers of

wire mesh for durability while helping to retain an open filter shape to keep the airflow

coming in.

It's made of several layers of specially treated cotton gauze to increase filtration as well.

Now, the biggest thing about this is that it's washable and reusable.

No need to pick up a new one every few thousand miles when routine maintenance comes around.

You can pop it out, wash it, re-oil it, and pop it right back in like new.

The rest of the components are made from a high-quality, free-flowing molded intake as

you can see here with a black finish, making this a little nicer to look at under the hood.

It blends right into the primarily black engine bay, almost like they came there from the

factory, but it will perform far better than stock ever could.

Now, although it does not require a tune, it would definitely help to really maximize

the performance of, not only the intake, but also any other power model you may have on

your Raptor, but like I said, not required.

The price tag falls right around the $300 range, which is a pretty average price range

for a Raptor air upgrade.

Now, the premium brand name definitely goes a long way with this one, but at the end of

the day, most intakes will perform a very similarly with slight differences in between.

This one does have a nice air-box to limit the filters exposure to the engine heat, which

is gonna be a bonus for this particular kit.

The installation can be done with simple hand tools.

You'll need a 4-millimeter and 3-millimeter Allen wrench, a 5/8 wrench, T20 Torx, and

a flathead screwdriver.

It will take you about thirty minutes from start to finish.

It definitely gets one out of three wrenches on our difficulty meter.

The first thing you need to do, of course, is disconnected the negative cable on the

battery and disconnect the mass air sensor connector and the crankcase and vent line

from the intake tube.

Loosen all clamps on the tubing for the stock air-box, one of which is by the throttle body.

Release the clips on the upper and lower air-box and remove the upper air-box housing and intake

to assembly from the trough, and take out the air filter.

Remove the center upper air-box retaining clips from the lower air-box.

Now, you can install the Roush filter adapter into the heat shield and install the edge

trim or weatherstripping onto the shield.

You may need to cut the trim into two and nine and a half inch pieces.

Install the filter into the adapter and tighten the hose clamps to secure it, and then install

the coupler on to the filter using clamps as well.

Now, install the heat shield and filter assembly into the lower air-box in the truck, then

install the coupler onto the throttle body with clamps.

Remove the mass air sensor from the factory air-box and move it over to the Roush tubing

along with the crankcase vent fitting.

Install the tubing on the motor connecting one end of the throttle body to the coupler

and the other end to the filter in the air-box coupling.

Reconnect everything and you are good to go.

Hello everyone, we're walking around our neighborhood which is still under

construction and we happen across this wonderful array of mud puddles, and we

thought, we thought, you know, maybe our hex bug fish want to take

a cool dip in the mud puddles. And isn't mud therapeutic at spas and things, so

well, daughter go ahead start throwing them in there. let's see how they do.

Come on, swim, swim. Boom! It's swimming. Okay let's splash the

camera, good. Let me zoom in on this little gu,. He's taking it slow and lazy.

There he goes, boom. Jellyfish, yes there it is! Wahoo is going to go crazy.

Wahoo is stuck. Okay here, you want to dig? We got our net stick here.

what?? okay, yep that's so strange it comes up. Yeah I guess he just they just

kind of go in a circle, and I guess this puddle is big enough. Oh look he's

beached, he's beached, he's beached, here we go. Sounds like he's p@@ing that's weird.

There's the jellyfish. I just put new batteries in the

jellyfish, he's doing really well. Here's our yellow fish. He's beached.

Slowly spinning. There we go okay. And our yellow ones way over here now. It

scares me how the jellyfish... we lost two or three are under the mud water, help.

Come on oh good good good going into a

wall. you want to go and fish Mr. jellyfish out with our

dollar-store net?

Let's see how he's doing. all right he picked up some, all kinds of... ewww like..

I the wahoo in there too? Nope, I thought there were bugs in here, no.

Guess what? Wahoo is officially, he's probably stuck underneath somewhere in

the mud. Ewww, gross, I'm gonna try and dredge up wahoo oh why did

we put it... we've done this before. we did a canal, we did hex bugs in a canal and

we lost a fish right away, yeah. "Leaf" us alone.

Okay so we're gonna put him off to the side. Grab him. I'm gonna

hold the camera you can try and fish it out. I think we lost wahoo, and stirring up

the waters making the muddier isn't helping. Oh there it is, it's caught in

the net. Where'd he go? He's still in there. Let me put him in a light for

our are billions of YouTube subscribers. Want to dislodge him? Yeah actually.

You know, his tails caught in the net because he's on. I get it.

Okay, well we got him, he's off. I'm just glad to get the fish back, so we're

good. Yeah I don't know how... oh he's stuck in the top of it. That's

fine, I'm not gonna worry, I don't even know how you got in there. So leave a

list of any other liquid you want to see or Hex bug swim in. I'll put our playlist

on there to give you an idea. Some people request things like bubble soap and soda

and milk, we've already done those, so check out the playlist in the

description.

I think they swim in every liquid, we've done about 38 of these, they swim in

every every liquid but, like Italian dressing. they don't swim in oil for some

reason, I'm not I'm an electrical engineer. I think it's something to do

with oil and electric, I don't know. Anyway, I swim in this muck. Wow look at

CycloDS iEvolution Review [Deutsch|English Subtitles|4K] - Duration: 27:24.

Hello and welcome to a new video!

Today you'll see a review of the CycloDS iEvolution.

This is a Flashcard for Nintendo DS Systems that was produced by Team Cyclo.

The card was annouced in 2010, but was released in 2011.

The special thing about this card is that it's the only Flashcard available that supports the DSi Mode of DSi and 3DS systems.

That's also the Name-Giving Part of the card.

The DSi Mode is special because the CPU is higher clocked in this mode and the Games get more RAM.

Also, they can for example access the Cameras of DSi and 3DS Systems

All Games released by Nintendo that were released as "DSi-Enhanced" or "DSi-Only" are running in this Mode.

On other flashcards like the DSTWO you are only able to run the "DSi-Enhanced" games in DSLite Mode

But with this card they run in DSi-Mode

Unfortunately. Team Cyclo disappeared 6 months after releasing the card

And because of this, and because the card isn't produced anymore, it's very difficult to find one nowadays.

I ordered mine on shop01media (Link is Description); The Shop gave me a discount for this review, thank you very much again!

Now let's take a look at the packaging.

Unlike the compatition like the DSTWO+, the packaging is made out of metal.

This gives the card a very premium feel and shows that the team cared about their products before releasing them.

The back shows the official specs.

Interestingly, the back doesn't say anything about the special DSi-Mode,

it only says the standard-function every modern card should have.

The card supports microSDHC cards up to 32gb.

The front shows the evolution of humans, the last step is replaced with the "i" of the iEvo.

Compared to the packaging of the DSTWO, the packaging is smaller, but still good because of the metal-factor.

Now let's look inside the packaging. The box can be opened relatively easy

After that a half-transparent black inlay is visible. You can see the parts through the inlay.

Here we have a cheap microSD reader,

I wouldn't trust it because it has no safety parts on it's PCB, also it's slow. If you can use alternatives, I'd highly recommend using them

Then we have the update/flash dongle. The DSiEvo comes delivered without a firmware, whitch makes it 100% legal OOTB.

To flash it, you have to download 2 special games, and you must use them to build the firmware out of it. Check the description for a tutorial.

And last but not least, we have the core, the CycloDS iEvolution

Let's look at the card more detailed.

The sticker shows the iEvolution logo, that we have already seen on the box.

When light falls on the sticker, you can see a bump under the sticker.

The Bump is a FPGA, which makes the card functional in DSi-Mode.

On the side there is a tiny clearance. I wasn't able to press it down to make it disappear, but it's not sharp and doesn't hurt you.

It also doesn't interference with the game-slot, so don't worry.

The plastic is not cheap and it doesn't feel like the card will fall apart anytime soon.

The microSD Slot is unlike the one from the DSTWO without a spring.

This has the advantage that the card will probably have a longer lifespan.

Some springs from DSTWO-Slots broke over the time, making the card unuseable.

The contacts on the back are creditable, they are longer then average and also seperated each.

Especially for R4-Cards, the contacts are short and not seperated, causing contact issues.

The other side has an indent, probably to give the card more grip.

That was all for the design, now let's go to a DS.

Because the card is relatively old, we have to check several things before we can use it.

Because the team disappeared and therefore no updates were released for the card,

Nintendo blocked the DS-Mode on FW 1.4.2 and the DSi-Mode on FW 1.4.3 on DSi Systems.

On 3DS Systems the card doesn't run on Firmwares above 2.0.

So therefore we have to bypass the restrictions.

Thankfully, thats relatively easy on 3DS Systems. With the Luma CFW installed, the card runs flawlessly.

Another advantage is that, once installed, we don't have to patch anything else, the card then runs fine out of the Home Menu.

And after flashing, the card has a "MechAssault Phantom War" Icon for the DSLite Mode. And after we start the card...

...we do enter the main menu of the card after the loading Screen.

Here we have three options. The first one is to start Games/Homebrew.

The 2nd is Moonshell, hidden under "Media" and then we have "Settings and Misc"

Here we have many options to configurate the card.

We'll look into the option "Switch to DSi mode" later in this Review.

"Icon Size" changes the Size of the icons in the Games-Menu; You can set the apperance of Bookmarks.

The Save-Mode, if games don't save correctly.

A Battery Saver. I haven't tested it and can't tell how much it acually saves.

You can change the Language. The Translation to German is good and not made with Google Translate or something similar.

You can change skins.There's also a random skin function that changes the skin everytime you reboot the card.

With a Rumble pack from Nintendo or an EZ-Flash 3in1 you can activate the Rumble-Function of DS-Games here

Obviously, you can only this on a DS or DS Lite because it needs the Slot2.

"24-Hour Clock" activates the 24h instead of 12h Clock and "Last Played Bookmark" shows the last played game as bookmark in the main menu.

"Old Cheat Prompt" gives you a prompt that asks you if you want to activate cheats after you chose a game.

"Show all files" shows all files in the Games Menu, not only .nds Files

I don't know what Delete Related Files stands for :/. It had no effect for me.

With "Enhanced Menu Button" you can change the Keycombo that you have to press to open the Real Time Menu of the iEvo In-Game

"Last Played Buttons" let's you chose a Keycombo. When you press this combo during the card-startup, you'll be booted into the game you last played.

With "Sort Ingore Number", numbers in File-Names get ignored and only the letters will be used to select the files.

When you activate "GBASupport" GBA games on your iEvo will be booted over a compatible Slot2 Flashcard when you choose them.DS and DSL only too.

I won't show you Moonshell in this tutorial, if you want to you use it, I have placed a link to a tutorial in the description.

When we choose the "Games and Homebrew" Menu, we see a Menu which looks similar to the Wood-Menu

You can see Folders and Roms here (other files too if you activated the setting)

And when you now choose a game...

... you can do several operations with the game

First of all you can do basic File Operations (Copy, Move, Delete, Paste)

In the "Info" Tab you see several Informations to the ROM

Then you can set your favorite Games as Bookmark

With Enable Cheats and Select Cheats you can activate cheats in general for the game and choose your Cheats you want to activate in-game.

In Settings, you can create a RTS Slot. Unlike the DSTWO does, you have to create one manually first. Otherwise it's not usable in the Real Time Menu.

Also in Settings, you can change between seperate Save Slots (which seperates Saves as multiple sav files on the SD) and change the size if Auto somehow fails.

Now we check the game compatibility in detail. I'll use Mario Kart DS here.

Under settings you can now create the RTS Slot if you haven't already and if you want to use Real-Time Save.

I already did it for this Game.

If you have ever created a RTS File for one specific Game, you won't have to repeat the procedure over and over, only if you delete the file from ths SD Card.

You can now select Cheats you want under "Select Cheats". This is also possible in the In-Game Men uafter you started the Game.

Because I activated "Old Cheat Prompt", the card now asks me if I want to activate Cheats for this Session. I deny this.

And after the short loading screen the card boots the game.

And with the Keycombo from "Enhanced Menu Buttons", which is L+R+A+B+X+Y by default, the In-Game Menu pops up.

Now you can choose several options here.

You can go back to the game, you can activate slow motion, and you can do a Real-Time Save State or Load an existing one.

Also you can go back to the Menu of the Card (Soft-Reset)

You can only adjust the Brightness on a DS Lite or use Cheats if you activated the Option before you started the Game.

First let's look at the Slowmotion feature. You have different Levels to choose; 50%, 33% or 25%

Let's try 50%, and you can clearly see that the Animations run slower.

Compared to the DSTWO, I experienced less Graphics and Sound Bugs with the iEVO.

So, now I deactived the Slow-Mo and I'll create a Real-Time Savestate

This takes a short amount of time, and when we now do some progress in the game...

... and then choose "Real-Time Load" in the Menu

We get back to the point where we saved

Unfortunately, compared to the DSTWO, you can only manage 1 instead of 4 Slots at the same time.

And then we can go back to the Card Menu. Notice how this happens without a flickering, that feels very professional.

R4 Cards and not even the DSTWO are able to do this without Flickering.

If you want to use DSi-Enhanced games in DSLite Mode, it'll work just fine. However, they only run with the DS-Lite Restrictions then.

Pokemon Black2/White2 also have the well known XP-Bug where you don't get XP after battles.

This also occurs on Cards with older Wood-Versions (e.g. R4i Dual Core from r4isdhc.com.cn)

However, you can manually patch them with a PC, and after that the games will run fine.

The XP-Bug doesn't occur on Black1/White1 thankfully.

Let's have a look at Homebrew Compatibility next.

Homebrew using FAT and NitroFS Filesystems are both supported.

Let's use GameYob as our Testing Application.

Now we see the Games which means DLDI Patching works automatically (StarGate doesn't support it in 2018 lol)

"Quit to Launcher" brings us to the DSi or 3DS Menu, a DSLite will just shut off.

Now we'll check the feature of the card which makes the card worth buying for some people today...

...The DSi Mode.

As mentioned before, you can choose the mode in the Settings.

To make this possible, Cyclo uses an exploit in a DSi-Enhanced Game to boot itself in DSi-Mode.

If you want to use DSi-Games, you have to watch out for a few things.

Some of the DSi-Enhanced games floating around the Internet aren't dumped correctly, they don't contain the DSi-Part.

If we choose the Option to switch, the card tells you to Soft-Restart the System.

Now the Card Icon has changed to a French Version of "My Cook Coach" for European Systems.

If we start it, wel'll first see the Game booting up...

... but then the exploit triggers and the card get's started.

I collected some properly dumped DSi-Roms and we'll test some of them. All these games support the DSi-Mode officially, however...

... Although they include everything to run theoretically, the card doesn't run some games in the list.

First we'll check "Art Academy"

The Game itself runs fine, but the Real-Time Menu doesn't work, which is the case for most DSi-Games.

To add something to the DSi-Parts: The iEvo tells you if your file isn't dumped properly.

If you get this Message, as seen in the embedded picture, your ROM doesn't have it and you should download one that includes it.

The ROM will run fine in DSLite Mode if it's a DSi-Enhanced Game.

Our 2nd Game is "Chronicles of Mystery The Secret Tree of Life"

Same Situation as before, The Game runs fine but the Real-Time Menu doesn't work.

Then I check "Classic Word Games"

And The Game runs fine, but like before the Real-Time Menu doesn't open.

Next one is "Club Penguin". In the Settings you see that RTS is unavailable for all DSi-Games, even if the Menu works.

And here, the Real-Time Menu works, and you can Cheat if Codes are available, use the Slow-Mo Function or go back to the card.

Then we have "Art of Murder"

Game works fine, no Real-Time Menu.

Reaching the letter L, we have "Lost Identities"

Again, the Game works, but Real-Time menu doesn't.

Reaching more famous Games, we have "Mario vs Donkey Kong 1 - Mini Land Mayhem!"

Sadly, after the Save Init, we just stuck at two black screens with no working Real-Time Menu.

Here we have Pokemon Black 1

The Game works, but...

... do we see the Firmware Bug of the iEVO in a second

Notice that I activated WiFi on this N3DS (Orange LED)

But if I want to use the C-Gear, I just get an Error Message ("Wireless Connection is deactivated")

The Firmware of the iEvolution doesn't allow Wireless in any DSi Game unfortunately. This is an unfixed bug that will never be fixed obviously.

However...

...you see Three Battery Bars (much special).

This is a good indicator that the Game runs in DSi-Mode because it only shows 2 bars in DSLite-Mode-

This is because the DSi Mode shares a more accurate Battery Level Indicator to the Game.

In DSi-Mode, battles between Wild Pokemons and Trainers, especially battles with more than 2 Pokemons, run smoother due to the higher clocks.

But sadly, Softreset/The Real-Time Menu doesn't work for the Game.

Going towards the End, "Sonic Classic Collection"

Runs, but Soft-Reset/Real-Time Menu doesn't work

"Spongebob's Boating Bash"

Runs, with a non-working Soft-Reset/Menu

The Video Game from "The Biggest Looser"

Unfortunately ends with 2 white screens.

Soft-Reset doesn't work

So when you want to use the Exploit in this Game by Team SALT to dump the systems CID, which is necessary to decrypt your DSi NAND, you can't use this card.

Last but not least, "TRON Evolution"

Runs, but no Soft-Reset

The iEVO also allows you something that doesn't normally work,

namely running DS-Lite Games in DSi-Mode.

This works for games that were only made for DS-Lite, not having a DSi-Part on their Retail Cards.

I'll check "Trackmania Turbo"

And it runs fine, with a working Real-Time Menu.

And although it works here, I still wouldn't recommend to use it.

Many games, although they have reduced loading times, start to get graphic glitches in-game, freeze, or maybe don't start at all.

The Games simply weren't developed to run under those conditions. If it works for your game, enjoy the shorter loading time, but don't use it as standard for every game.

Now let's come to a conclusion. Let's start with the positive things.

The OS. The Ui is modern and clean, transitions are glitch free, which is unique.

Then the Build Quality. First of all the Premium Box, the card is made out of good-feeling plastic.

It also has the same thickness like an orginal game. The DSTWO is thicker and often gets stucked in the Game-Slot. It behaves 100% like an orginal game.

And the unique DSi-Mode. The will was there at least, but the support was dropped, which brings us to the negative side

The Team disappeared, leaving the card blocked on newer systems with bugs.

You have to use tricks to make the card working on newer systems.

Also, the price of 60€ combined with the bad Availability of the card are bad.

So would I recommend the card?

Well, the card itself is very good and doesn't have to hide behind the DSTWO.

But because of the missing support, the card isn't higher recommendable than a DSTWO.

That's why I would only recommend this card to Collectors, people who already have DSTWO that want to try something different...

... or People who really want to play Games natively in DSi-Mode and don't want to use an emulator

it's waterproof @mx tile it's a one size fit off and it's all adjustable you have

to have the headrest out to adjust it you spill proof non-slip rubber backing

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers - S02E47 - Episode Review - Duration: 6:36.

Welcome to Ranger Reviews, a webseries where we look at episodes of the tv show, Power

Rangers and then discuss it!

Today, we're exploring the hundred and seventh episode of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers as

well as the forty seventh episode of Season 2, titled "Best Man for the Job".

We begin this episode in Angel Grove High where we find out that the student elections

are coming up.

Billy asks Tommy if he'd ever run for class president, and he wants to be Tommy's campaign

manager.

Kim agrees that Tommy would be a great president.

She and Aisha leave, and Billy suggests that Tommy's campaign slogan is "the best man

for the job" because we can't even be 3 minutes into this episode within name dropping

its title.

Skull asks Bulk what he'd think if he were student president, but then, Bulk says that

he should be it because then they'd have access to the student files.

Uhm, that's not okay.

Aisha tells Kimberly that the best man for the job could be a woman, and after Aisha

convinces her that Tommy will be fine with it, she talks to Tommy, and they agree that

it's going to be fine.

On the moon, Zedd makes an astute observation about how politics can ruin any relationship.

Then, he and Rita argue, and we find out that Zedd is sexist as hell, saying that Rita sucks

because she's a girl.

Then, she gives an evil jump rope to Baboo and Squatt, saying that will make people overly

competitive.

This show is so damn cheap, it's insane.

Kim and Tommy are walking through the park, talking about how great it is that they be

friends with benefits and also run for office.

Then, Baboo and Squatt trip them with the evil jumprope, which causes Tommy and Kimberly

to start bickering with one another.

It's great.

Goldar tells Zedd about how Rita has a plan, and Zedd says "keep an eye on it".

Then, we find Tommy defacing a campaign poster of Kim's, whose slogan is Win with Kim,

which doesn't even technically rhyme.

He's also drawing a mustache on her.

Billy shows up with posters for Tommy, and Tommy puts his poster over Kim's.

Kim then shows up, calling them "losers", and man, I love this episode.

They start arguing again before a 35 year extra walks by, and they attempt to get his

vote.

Tommy and Billy end up leaving, and Kim puts stickers over Tommy's poster so it now says

"Don't Vote for Dummy", and it's the funniest thing this show has ever done.

Aisha tells her to chill, and Kim tells her to shut up.

Also, we see Bulk and Skull campaigning, and Bulk promises if elected, he'll reveal the

identity of the Power Rangers.

Then, on the moon, Rita zaps down a letter to Tommy's locker, and he and Billy come

in, and Tommy literally only removes the "don't" from the defaced poster as in he's fine

with being called a dummy.

They find the letter, and Tommy reads it, leaving.

Billy reads it, too, and it says how it has information to destroy Kimberly.

Tommy is in the park, and he gets jumped by Goldar and putties, and he morphs in the coolest

way ever!

White Ranger then takes them all on, kicking ass in the process until Goldar hits him away.

Aisha and the guys come up to Kim, trying to talk to her about how she's being a bitch

in this campaign, but then Zordon calls, and the five morph right there in the middle of

the hallway.

They come to Tommy's help, but then Rocky gets hit way back.

Also, now Kim is just talking about Tommy needs help because he's useless.

They start fighting with one another while putties are around him.

Goldar is even trying to get them to pay attention to him, and he ends up just punching Kim and

stealing Saba.

Tommy breaks free from putties, and Kim and Tommy compete over who can get Saba, and they

hit each other, falling onto the ground.

The others try to break them up, and Goldar uses Saba to fire at them.

They have to retreat.

In the Command Center, the six are there while Kim and Tommy keep bickering, and Kim says

that Tommy's ponytail is too tight, which is amazing.

Alpha does a test, and they find out that they're under a spell thanks to Rita.

Zordon then gives them roses… to smell… which will somehow make them better because

it's a symbol of love?

Tommy refuses at first, saying that he's not trying to be a jerk here, and Kim says

"you have a hard time doing that, huh?" in the best line delivery Amy Jo Johnson has

given thus far.

I love this episode!!

They smell the roses, returning the two to their normal, boring selves.

They apologize to one another, and now Rita is in the park dancing around with Saba, which

is HILARIOUS.

Billy suggests a freakin' magnet to get Saba back.

Tommy is going to stay behind for no reason whatsoever, and the five others teleport back

in.

Rita then calls out the White Tigerzord, converting it into Warrior Mode.

The others then call out their Thunderzords, combining them into the Thunder Megazord.

Alpha gives Tommy the finished magnet device thing, and he says that there's only a range

of 10 yards, so Tommy has to go solo.

When he arrives, we see….

American Zord footage?!

The White Tigerzord and the Thunder Megazord are actually connecting?!

This episode is INCREDIBLE!

Tommy sneaks up behind the villains, and now the two Megazords are using their swords against

one another.

I'm not even mad that they called the Thunder Saber the Power Sword.

Tommy flips out of the bushes, recalling Saba.

Now, back in control, the two Megazords start to stalk toward Rita and gang, and they disappear.

Then, on the moon, Rita laments her loss, and Zedd rubs it in her face by flexing on

her.

THIS.

EPISODE!!!

At the Youth Center, Kim has just finished her speech.

Tommy is up next, and he says that they should all vote for Kimberly because she's better

than him.

That's unexpected.

I was expecting a tie between the two!

Then, Skull comes in dressed to the nines for Bulk, and Bulk comes out in a bad Uncle

Sam cosplay while Skull is ruining everything in the background.

Then, Skull hits both Caplan and Bulk off stage.

Caplan receives the election results, and Tommy and Kim hug it out.

Caplan goes to the podium, announcing that Kimberly Hart has won the election.

Bulk demands a recount, and he only got 1 vote.

Turns out, Skull didn't vote for Bulk because Kimberly's speech was that good.

Then, Tommy gives Kim a fake ass rose.

The end!

Where has THIS Season 2 been the entire time?!

This episode was incredible!

Kim and Tommy being at each other's throats should seem like low hanging fruit, but since

they're also so friendly, it's so refreshing to see conflict between the two!

Plus, American Zord footage?!

That was badass!

Rita getting Saba and controlling the White Tigerzord against the Thunder Megazord?

Actually funny Bulk and Skull bits?

I loved this episode!

Will next time be just as good?

A Boy in Winter | 2018 Women's Prize Review - Duration: 10:55.

Hello, bookworms! I'm Hannah, and I'm changing the lighting setup in my next

few videos, because I started recording a few minutes ago and one of my lightbulbs

exploded. Burning hot glass went raining down and set the carpet on fire. That was

terrifying. I'm trembling right now, but I have a lot of work to do today so I'm

going to soldier on and get through this video. Today is my first dedicated review

of a 2018 Women's Prize longlist book. I'll be giving a brief synopsis,

introducing the characters, and discussing the book's strengths and

weaknesses. As usual, I'll avoid dropping any major spoilers, and I'll do my best to

correctly pronounce the characters names,

but if I get any wrong I hope you'll

forgive me. Today I'm reviewing A Boy in Winter by Rachel Seiffert. This is

Seiffert's fifth novel. Her debut novel, The Dark Room, was shortlisted for The

Man Booker Prize in 2001, and her third novel, Afterwards, was longlisted for the

Women's Prize in 2007, back when he was known as the Orange Prize for Fiction. A

Boy in Winter is historical fiction set during the German invasion of Ukraine in

1941. Though the synopsis suggests the book will follow four characters, it

actually jumps around to six, technically seven, different characters. Right now

some of you are thinking, "Wait a minute, six characters in a book that's not even

240 pages long? Is it even possible to feel invested in so many characters in

so few pages ?" The answer to that question is: No. Let's start at the beginning.

This year's women's prize longlist left me feeling deflated.

I posted a candid longlist reaction video. If you missed that, I'll link to it

in the description box. When determining which books from the longlist to read, A

Boy in Winter caught my eye, because it's opening pages give an immediate sense of

atmosphere and peril and reveal a unique linguistic style.

Seiffert demonstrates a quirky dependency on semicolons and colons which, to be

frank, my eyes were tripping over throughout the book, and her writing

oscillates between short, jagged sentences and long flowing sentences

laden with commas, We open on the hushed streets of a small Ukranian town where

the air is damp with fog. A young boy and his little brother

are running through the empty cobbled streets in search of a place to hide. The

eponymous "boy" is the oldest: 13 year old Yankel, a Jewish boy prone to daydreaming

who prefers afternoon spent in long grass along the river banks or wading in

the shallows. He's a brave and nurturing older brother who often whittled sticks

into figurines for his younger brother Momik. We're then introduced to a German

engineer named Otto who's woken by the sound of slamming doors outside his

boarding-house window. In the last few days he's witnessed the arrival of SS

Jeeps, then the Order Police, and now the

streets are filling with the gray uniformed Wermacht. We get a sense

of Otto's character and his view of the war through inward conversations he has

with his beloved wife. Otto is implacably opposed to his

countrymen's behavior but keeps his thoughts safely in his head because the

letters he writes home to his wife are monitored by German soldiers. We next

meet my favorite character in the book: a 17 year old Ukranian farm girl named Yasia. Her introduction is accompanied by a wailing siren and the crack of a

German voice over a loudspeaker announcing, in Ukrainian, that a curfew is

in effect until further notice. Through Yasia's conversations with her father

were reminded of Stalin's brutal reign, and we learned that she's resentful of

the war because her sweetheart, Mykola, has been gone fighting for the Red Army. Were it not for the war she would be married by now and happily cradling a

plump baby. Finally, we're introduced to Yankel's

father, Ephraim. He, his wife, and his youngest daughter have been herded like

animals, along with hundreds of other Jews, to an old brick factory where he

waits anxiously for news of Yankel and Momik. It's through Ephraim's

wandering thoughts that we learn more about Yankel's character and how it's

been difficult for Ephraim in recent years to convince his son to focus on

learning when all Yankel wants to do is play outside. We also, in brief stints,

follow a schoolmaster; Mykola, who's told that his service in the Red Army will be

forgiven if he'll fight for the Germans; and Arnold, a military superior with whom

Otto occasionally confers. By weaving these characters' stories together,

Seiffert attempts to explore, and I'm quoting the book jacket here, "the

compromises demanded by survival, the oppressive power of fear, and the

possibility of courage in the face of terror." Two important questions arise

when considering this book. (1) Does Seiffert succeed in honoring what the

book jacket promises? I think the answer is yes, but the execution is weak; and (2)

Can this book compete with the pantheon of Holocaust literature that already exists?

I think the answer is no. Before I explain why, let me first touch on the

aspects of the book I enjoyed. Seiffert's prose regularly transports us from one

scene to the next. When following Yankel, we feel the dampness of the

fog around us. Yasia cuts into an apple to reveal its pale flesh, and suddenly

we're craving the sweetness of apples. Ephraim is pressed and pushed in the

crowded factory. His back aches, his joints stiffen, and we shift our weight

from foot to foot right alongside him. Most of these characters don't know one

another at the start of the book, so they're ignorant of how connected they

are. They're not concerned with one another's welfare until their paths

physically cross. It feels long in cinubgm which is funny given how short

this book is, but some of the most thrilling moments in the book occur when

these characters finally collide. My favorite moment is shared between Yasia,

Yankel, and Momik. It's the only scene in the entire book where I was quietly

spellbound. The boys are hiding in a workshop and Yasia offers them to

deviled eggs. The small one edges towards her shyly, reaching for the food. One hand

still full of his new toy, he has to give it to Yasia to make room and she takes

it from him gently, pressing an egg into each of his palms in exchange. Such fine

little digits; she likes to see them gripped like that, to see all the

neatness of his small child's movements. An egg makes a good warm fistful, she

thinks, watching his fingers closing around the

soft ovals as he returns to his brother's side. The small boy slips onto his

brother's knee to eat and, watching him there,

Yasia feels the emptiness of her own lap. Nothing but her own hands to rest

there - and even they have nothing to hold in them. That is such a powerful scene

that conveys the heightened appreciation, amid war time, of life's sweet

simplicities, things we normally take for granted: a warm haven, a shared meal, a

bite of food. It's a precious moment that illuminates

the frailty and innocence of children. It articulates Yasia's unmet desires and

how this war has prohibited her from assuming the identity she longs for of

wife and mother. And Seiffert's choice to use an egg - a symbol of life and, in

Jewish tradition, a symbol of a promise - is brilliant. The magnitude of that

moment is what I anticipated from this entire book. Unfortunately, it's the only

scene with such depth and gravity, a rare instance where this book's

potential shines through. One of my problems with this book is that I never

had a clear sense of time, because Seiffert is constantly bouncing to

different characters and pausing mid-thought to give backstory. The book

jacket makes a point of emphasizing that everything in this book transpires over

the course of three days, which is conceptually alarming given how many

lives are affected or ruined in such a short period of time. Without that clear

sense of time the severity of what happens is slightly diminished. I think this

is a symptom of Seiffert adding more characters during the writing process

and then struggling to juggle them in so few pages. Had Seiffert decided to focus on

one, possibly two characters, this would have been a more emotionally fraught,

memorable read. Ny vote is for Yankel and Yasia. With Yankle we see the war

through the eyes of a vulnerable Jewish boy. We experience hunger, fear,

uncertainty about family, and the responsibility of protecting a little

brother. His options are be captured by the Germans, hide and starve ,or take a

chance on a stranger, which could prove a fatal decision. With Yasia we see a

woman worried her lover will die in battle. We're privy to her dashed dreams

and her longing for motherhood. She's beautiful, and the German soldiers often

noticed that, so there's this lingering concern that she could be raped. Her

neighbors are aware of what's happening to the Jews, but they're not concerned

because they've adopted an attitude of, "Well, at least it's not happening to me,"

which brings to mind Martin Niemoller's poem. And her decision to interact with

two Jewish boys is exceedingly dangerous. I also took issue with how Seiffert

handles the mass graves. She mentions soldiers rounding up

hundreds of Jews and stripping them of their clothing. She writes of newly dug

soil and heaps of tangled limbs, but she never specifically states that German

soldiers lined up Jewish men, women, and children in front of gaping graves and

shot them. When the moment comes to fire the guns she breaks the scene. I spent a

fair amount of time wondering why. Why doesn't she finish that scene? I'm having

hard time talking about this.

Sometimes the unspoken is more powerful. Maybe by not stating what happened she's

implying that those acts were unspeakable. But I also wondered if she

simply shied away from the challenge of conveying the humiliation and horror of

those last moments. When future generations pick up this book, and World

War II is as distant as the Civil War or the War of Independence is to us, I think

people will be able to intuit what happened in that scene, but I don't think

it's weighty enough to adequately convey the humiliation and terror. My opinion of

this book is on par with another long list title: Home Fire by Kamilla Shamsee.

A Boy in Winter is not a bad book; it's not a great book, either. It strikes me as

an okay addition to this year's longlist. I wouldn't tell you not to read it, but I

definitely expected more from it. If you decide to give it a chance, expect a

quick read that flits around to myriad characters and touches on several

aspects of World War II but stubbornly refuses to dig deep. If you've already

can be very fun to collect but the fun can also be short-lived and gimmicky i wanna

is just a fun throwaway item or if it has some value to keep as a cool

collectible going into the first review point the package of design does it add

to the fun and I think it says it has a really bright big images of what squish

delish you might get and they look really weird and interesting like you

want to open this up and see which ones you get so let's go ahead and get these

both open they have pull tabs you dont have to use scissors in the first one it's this

weird bug here look at this got a green bug the eyes and my second one

oh it's a pair of underwear it's really weird but that's what they are supposed

to be wacky a review point number 2 packages is a cool collectible to use

for display or as a throwaway item these packages you just throw away my next

review point is variety does a checklist show a good variety of possible toys the

closest thing that I have to checklist is the pictures on the bag it says

collect them all but I don't see the little bug unless that's supposed to be

the bug but it's a different color so it doesn't really give you a checklist on

here you could go to the website to see a

checklist but just with the package there's no little card or anything like

that my next review point is execution is the actual surprise toy a decent

quality so these are like the squishy toys these wacky ones seem a bit firmer

than other squish delish or squishy toys that I felt it seems a bit harder which

then they rise pretty fast so I'm not sure if that's a good thing if you want

it to be softer than this they they don't have much detail on them just like

the face the eyes and then the face on this one but overall they're they're

squishy kind of very generic squishy of pants and a bug and I think they're

decent quality for a squishy I think they could maybe have a better feel to

them be softer have more of a squish to them so my rating from 1 to 10 for the

wacky squish delish I would get these in 8 out of 10

I think the foam feels a little hard to me and I think they could have added a

have an Express Mail package actually on the way I should be getting it any any

time now so I'm looking out the window here and so the mail person is supposed

to bring it up to the house but everyone said well she leaves it in my mailbox so

I'm just kind of waiting for that today and what I thought I would do is when it

arrives you know we'll take a walk out outside together we'll go get it we'll

bring it back in and I'll show you some results so uh last week I signed up a

gentleman he was an older guy older gentleman and he was just about to

retire or he is getting ready to retire right and he explained to me that that

he just doesn't have like an exit strategy for retiring doesn't have

enough money to retire the way he wants to right so he saw a big profit system

and he saw how incredibly hands-free it is and we've got people that closed your

sales and we have hands-free advertising all right completely

hands-free stuff and that's what that's what he liked so he saw the vision of

that and he's really happy and I'm getting him started he ordered some

advertising and he's all set ready to go so so after that call I thought man

there has to be like lots of people out there that are are getting close to

retiring and they don't have enough money

in their account or they don't have enough money saved up I should say - to

live the rest their life the way they want to live so I just did a little

research and I kind of want to share that with you because it is uh it's it's

really scary so I want to talk about baby boomers because I'm on the far end

of that one-third of baby boomers are looking for an exit strategy right now

and that's that's over 50 million people ok so one third of those people they

don't have enough money saved up to when they retire you know to live the way

they want to live right and that's scary and I was thinking big profit system is

JADE CITY: SPOILER FREE REVIEW || 2018 - Duration: 7:06.

Hey guys, it's Emily! For today's video I'm doing a spoiler-free review of Jade City

by Fonda Lee. This is an adult epic fantasy book. It's the first in a series

called the Green Bone Saga, and it is fabulous. It's fresh and meticulously

crafted and just so compelling. I loved it! so a little bit about what this book

is about this is set in a modern fictionalized world in which Jade gives

certain people from a particular place exclusively the ability to do crazy

stuff so like punch through a concrete wall and stop a bullet in mid-air but

even of the native people who do have this innate Jade sensitivity as it's

called in the book only elite trained warriors are able to actually harness it

without being driven mad that's some of the magic backgrounds in terms of

characters we follow the four grandchildren of an aging crime lord

basically the city which this takes place the titular Jade City is ruled by

these two clans which are basically like mafia organized crime tech groups and so

we're following one of them and so it's this kind of like gangster book mixed in

with fantasy elements mixed in with amazing martial arts and it's this

generational family saga and it is great so the magic system is so cool and

interesting I just I really really liked what Lee did because it feels like a

more structured magic system if you've listened if you've ever listened to like

though writing excuses podcasts this is something that Brandon Sanderson talks

about a lot Brandon Sanderson books tend to have very rural heavy magic systems

whereas something like Lord of the Rings has what he would call a deep magic

system so this is a very rule-based magic system and it is still interesting

and comity I just loved it and Lee looks it into like the global implications of

this Jade this like mystical magical Jade existing and giving certain people

basically magical abilities it's a precious resource so we don't just look

at how G affects the story of these two warring clans even though that is where

most of the action is Center there's also going to be you know greater

international trade implications if stuff goes down in this particular City

between these two clans and it's just so well done and so complex but it never

feels overwhelming I loved that anytime you kind of expect

to get like an archetypal character Lee likes to subtly subvert it one of the

main characters of this one of the four grandchildren that I mentioned is a guy

named Hilo he is what's called the horn which also just the names and like the

culture created around these crime families it's just so freakin cool so

anyway the horn runs like the violent militia kind of side of the organized

crime groups and that's what Hilo runs and he's hot-headed and a bit impulsive

and kind of has like a lot of much she seemed out and is this like tough-guy

type so you kind of just expect him to be the lovable rebel the like charming

charismatic violent guy and yet Lee gives him a lot of sensitivity and he is

never 2-dimensional we get so much depth to why he's behaving in hot-headed ways

and Lee looks at how his so-called impulsiveness is often rooted and like

wanting to take care of his family and has like very deep emotional roots it's

not just some idiot guy doing idiot guy things and I loved that and at almost

every turn we're as readers as people consuming stories you just expect

certain types of characters Lee plays around with that so the leader of the

rival clan is this ruthless woman and it's not really a spoiler to say that

she has killed all other rivals so that she could be the leader of this clan so

when they go to meet her you as reader are kind of expecting either like some

super intense looking lady or like a femme fatale type something like that

and it's just abnormal looking lady in a ponytail and some workout clothes

but just happens to be okay with murder and runs a ruthless crime syndicate and

you're like well I'm you know having to confront some of my expectations and my

biases as a reader and I'm loving it it keeps you really interested in these

characters because everyone is like that and so everyone has motivations and you

want to know what they are you want to know why they're doing what they're

doing I will say that because this is a fairly wide cast of characters and they

are so well crafted is a little bit slow getting into it

something about a hundred pages to like really start it took me about a hundred

pages to get to the point where I was like I'm not gonna put this down and

even then I had to put it down because of work and other things and I was very

mad about it so I think it's a testament to how much I liked it that I was mad

that I had to put it down so get into that point of enjoyment took a little

bit for me but I think it was ultimately worth it because it just means that you

get really compelling characters and a super rich world I'm not gonna complain

about that okay so talking about the world I love that this is set in modern

times like the modern era there's cars there's TV there's radios and that kind

of stuff and it's just like thank you but why does every fantasy book have to

be set pre 1900 for whatever reason there was no real reason and so I loved

that Lee Korea in a world that integrated some of these technological

advancements with magic and it was just it was so great and it's such a simple

change but I loved it the world building in this is just so phenomenal in

addition to a great magic system we have a really really rich deep culture we get

tastes of religion we get literally tastes of food and I've said before on

my channel I am a sucker for when I have food in books and so we get to figure

out what they're eating what's the culinary situation of this world we

learn about schools and about education and about how education in the city

which this is set is very different from other parts of the world because what a

concept there are other parts of the world this story is very much focused on

one particular city but the book never ignores the fact our colleague brushes

off the fact that there are in fact other parts of the world with their own

interests and they're trying to get their hands on this Jade I don't even

know if I've talked about the plot yet which was really cool but basically a

drug has been synthesized that gives everybody else the ability to harness

Jade even if they don't have the innate ability or training there so obviously

that is gonna throw a wrench in some things also something I don't really

talk about much when it comes to fantasy books I love the action sequences I

loved them in this finally is a martial artist I think I read or watched

something similar saying that she is like a two-time black belt or something

really cool like that and so it nice like that method knows what they're

talking about because price right she does so the fight teens are visceral and

they're not too long but they're also not too short you get just the right

amount which is hard to do I think sometimes I am not so patiently awaiting

the next book in this saga for fantasy fans out there pick this up it is so

much fun it has so much more depth than you would expect

11 Ways to Overcome a 1-Star Review for House Cleaning - Duration: 11:25.

How do you get rid of a one-star review?

We're going to talk about that today.

Hi there, I'm Angela Brown and this is Ask A House Cleaner.

This is a show where you get to ask a house cleaning question

and I get to help you find an answer.

These are not ratings from customers necessarily, but it's from your business fan page,

so you can have cousins and aunts and uncles and parents and anybody that can give you a character

reference or that can recommend you to someone to do business with, this is where they put

their ratings and reviews for you.

So this goes beyond to just your customers who have done business with you, but people

who know you in other areas of life.

This is helpful in case there are people who want to know your character before they hire

you or bring you into their home.

All right, HouseCleaning360.com

Now onto today's show, which is about how do you get rid of a one-star review?

All right, so there are websites like Google and Yelp, that allow you to have customer

ratings and reviews that are on a scale of 1 to 5.

Now, these became really popular 10-15 years ago on sites like Amazon and eBay, where we

counted on the ratings and reviews before we did business with people, sight unseen.

All right, so this is a little bit different because this is not somebody shipping us something,

this is actually somebody coming into our home to help us with cleaning, okay?

So if we give ratings and reviews for our customers coming into our home, we want to

make sure that the cleaning that they're offering is in fact what they say it's going to be.

All right now, what's really interesting, when you get a one-star review, the very first

thing that happens is you want to get really angry, like, oh my goodness I can't believe

they don't appreciate my work, then you get all bent out of shape at the things that they said.

Okay, so stop for just a second.

When you get a one-star rating and review, there's actually a process to go through.

Process number one, stop.

Take your emotions out of the picture and step aside, okay?

So pretend this is not about you and your company.

Pretend it's about someone else.

Now the reason I say that is this if you can pretend this is one-star rating and review

is about someone else, you can look at it a little bit objectively instead of taking

it all personally.

Cause it's not personal, it's business.

It's a business transaction somebody didn't like.

That's it, that's all it is.

All right, the next thing I want you to do, is I want you to be empathetic.

I want you to think in the back of your mind, what if this is particular customer was my

mom or my grandma?

And you start thinking about this, oh she paid $200 dollars, she had a cleaning service

come over and after the cleaning service left, she found a hair behind her bathroom door,

because there was a hair behind her bathroom door on the floor, she assumed that there

were other parts of the house that where not clean or that were skipped.

And so, I can understand she paid all this money and there was a hair so she just had

these assumptions.

Now you can start feeling sorry for the customer and you can be a little bit more empathetic

as to where they're coming from.

All right the next thing I need you to do, this is step number three, is look at the

complaint, because guess what?

One star ratings and reviews, don't write themselves.

Lots of people will let stuff slide, and they kind of skip over stuff and go, well, not

what I was hoping for, they didn't do a very good job, whatever.

And they will let inadequate or average service slide.

So, if you get a one-star rating and review, that should be a wakeup call, like holy crap

what did we do wrong?

Right?

And if you have excellent customer service, you should be able to resolve this very quickly.

Now on your initial walkthrough, and this goes back before step number four, but on

your initial walkthrough, what you may want to do, is ask the customer, "Hey we specialize

in customer service.

If for any reason at any time you're not satisfied with our service, will you tell me before

you tell your social media?

Before you give me a rating and review online, will you tell me?

Because I would love to make it right personally."

Now, if you've explained that to your customer in your initial walkthrough when the opportunity

comes for them to call you and say, "Hey.

You need to give me my satisfaction guarantee and come back and clean this house."

There are already rules in place for that.

You're going to come back within 24 hours and you're going to make it right.

But if the first time you're hearing about the problem is on social media in a one-star

review, there's more than just one problem, okay?

You didn't explain very clearly about your customer service

and about your satisfaction guarantee.

All right, so then number four.

What you do when you get one?

Is if you have excellent customer service and you have already gone through the stepping

aside and looking at it from an empathetic situation, all right, now what you need to

do is to address the concern, because there is a one-star rating and review that's floating

around out there and it could bring your business down.

I don't say take it lightly if it's not to be taken lightly.

If it's rating and review of hate, which sometimes it is, that needs to be addressed.

Why does a customer hate you so bad?

Now I got one-star rating and review once from my consulting services.

The woman said it was the best consulting she'd ever had and she had some amazing things

that she was able to implement that skyrocketed her business

and she gave me a one-star rating and review.

When you look at that, there's nothing to correct.

You look at it and go, "Oh the woman got confused.

Instead of giving five stars, she gave one star."

So it wasn't even worth contacting her and saying, "Hey can you change that because you

give me a one-star rating and review, you're so confused."

Anyone reading the rating and review could have gone, "Ha ha ha, okay whatever."

So people will read the ratings and reviews, they do.

We read them on Trip Advisors before we take a trip.

We read them on Amazon before we buy products and it's amazing how many people won't go

to a restaurant if it has bad ratings and reviews.

So the ratings and reviews are paramount to the success of your business.

All right so when you address the rating and review, it's important that you address it

from a kind perspective.

This is why we take ourselves out of the situation, because whether you like it or not, whether

you admit it or not, whether you agree with me or not, is irrelevant.

You are the voice of your business.

You are the brand.

And so you need to be professional and kind no matter what you say.

So it's easy to fire back at the customer and go, "You don't know what you're talking about.

Our people were there for four hours."

Don't.

Please don't do that.

Acknowledge the customer had a concern because in the customer's mind, it's very real.

And so if it is a real customer, this is not a fake review, but if it is a real customer

that had a real situation, own it.

Take a 100% responsibility and say, "Oh my goodness, I can't believe we did this.

We must have had a day where we human.

I am so sorry you had to experience this.

In all fairness, we've never cleaned a house before with seven dogs running around and

so, we underestimated how things might slide or scoot or whatever and that hair would be

left when we were done.

We are so sorry.

We would have loved the chance to have heard this directly from you instead of reading

about it a week later on an online review.

We would have loved to resolve this immediately."

And so, you give the customer an opportunity of an out.

You want to acknowledge their pain.

You want to admit that something was wrong and you want to say, "We would have loved

the opportunity to make it right.

We specialize in customer service and we work off of referral only.

And so our reputation is our pride and so if we missed something, we want to be the

first ones to know about it, because we will do whatever it takes to make it right.

By the way, we would love to offer you a free cleaning at no expense because you had such

a terrible experience.

please give us a call and let us make that right."

All right, now the reason I say that is this, you don't want to throw your whole business

reputation away for a lousy $200 dollars or whatever it was of the cost of the cleaning.

You want to make sure that you make it right with the customer because a lot of times,

they will come back and say, "Oh my goodness, the owner of the company called me and they

made it right and no hard feelings, all is forgiven," whatever and then they will change

their rating and review.

Now, the next thing that I would like to recommend because there are so many people that rely

on ratings and reviews, you want to make sure that you have the best opportunity to get

a rating and review.

So if you have one bad star rating and review, you can counterbalance that with 95 good ones

and then people are going to go, wow.

But for most of the time, there's a really good experience.

So what I recommend is picking a website, Yelp, Google, HouseCleaning360, whatever your

site is, where you're promoting your business and get a QR code of your listing.

I'll put links in the show notes to the QR codes so you can make your own.

And then make up a business card that has your business name, your phone number, your

information and your QR code, and then give it to the customer and say, "Listen, if we

make a mistake, gosh, I hope we don't but we're human and we might make a mistake one

day, will you please give us the opportunity first before you tell your friends?

The information to call me is right here.

The day that we please and delight you, there's a QR code right here.

Scan this with your cell phone, it'll take you directly to the site and you can leave

us a positive rating and review.

So if you're not happy, call this side of the card, if you are happy, call this side

of the card."

And you can ask every customer for a positive rating and review and if they don't give it

to you today, they can keep the card and give it to you in two weeks or a month or a year

from now, when they're familiar with your service and they're comfortable with you and

they like and they've had a pleasant experience.

But before they go to social media, before the blast you to their friends, before they

leave you a bad rating and review.

Let them give you the chance to call you first.

And when they call you don't, please don't be defensive.

Be accepting and say, "Hey I understand there was a situation here.

As the owner, I'm willing to give it whatever it takes to make this situation right.

What do we need to do?"

And then ask this question, here are the magic words, "What do you think is fair?"

Because when you ask a customer what they think is fair, sometimes what they think is

fair, sometimes what they're going to say is, "Well, I'll just pick up the hair behind

the bathroom door and from now on just pay attention."

Or they might say, "No, come over and clean up the hair that's behind my bathroom door."

They're not going to say, "Come over and re-clean my whole house for free."

That's not fair but when you let them decide what's fair, often times it's something very

small, it's a small concession.

What they're saying is I want to be heard, and I want to be acknowledged and I want to

get value for the money that I paid.

That's it.

Most people are fair and that's all they want.

So that's how you get rid of and overcome and deal with one-star ratings and reviews.

I've called line bike door - the customer service is so bad. You know the guys overseas? They don't even know what I'm talking about

It's really really frustrating

My line bike said that the promo code had some sort of error the engineers are working on it or something like that

I don't know

They gave me a bunch of $1 off coupons, but it's like $1 per ride

And if I do the e bikes for an hour, that's like nine dollars

It would be ten dollars, so I'll get the dollar off and I gotta pay nine dollars, so

yeah, you know I

Don't even know if I'll make any money today doing this, but I said I would do this vlog
