Defender's Quest: Valley Of The Forgotten DX - Review - Duration: 5:55.

There are two things that a tower defence game usually doesn't have.

One is a good story.

And two is characters that you actually care about.

But 2012's Defender's Quest , now available on the PS4 and XBox One, tries to break this

habit.

At first glance, it looks like your typical tower defence game.

You place your units on the map, to hold back the waves of enemies that come at you, snaking

their way along predetermined paths.

If enough of them reach your boss unit, you die and lose the mission.

Each level is like a puzzle that you have to figure out how to most effectively defend.

Different units have different abilities.

You've got ice mages that can slow the enemies down.

You've got your healers to keep your own units safe.

All of these different characters need to work together, to handle whatever creatures

are thrown at them.

At the start of each map, you take a minute to work out a plan.

You check out what type of enemies are going to come from where.

Place your knights in positions where they can hack off the armour of any reinforced

bad guys.

Place healers in locations where they can reveal the dark units, which can only really

be hit once lit up by the ether flash technique.

Each unit takes up a certain amount of Psi, and then takes even more Psi to upgrade.

How you distribute this resource is crucial towards victory.

Eventually you create what you hope is a well oiled machine, that you can sit back and watch

as your master plan comes together.

You need to keep eye on things though, upgrading and tweaking the areas that seem to be struggling.

It's a fine line between success and failure and doesn't take long for things to go from

this.

To this...

But what drives you on to keep playing, to keep saying- "OK, one more mission"?

Well part of the incentive is to level up.

All of these different pieces of your army become like a family- they all have their

part to play.

You deploy the same characters each mission, with all of them levelling up and gaining

points towards their own skill trees.

You can buy armour and weapons for them (although armour does turn out to be kind of pointless-

units typically don't die much.

And don't worry- if they do, it's not permanent.

You can just redeploy them when you have enough Psi.)

The story takes place on the boundary between life and death.

With a plague killing and transforming people into undead creatures, it's up to our hero,

Azra (or whatever you want to name her) to fight back.

But she needs help and so meets up with and hires people to join the battle.

It's strange how attached you can become to these characters.

It's like you even start making your own little stories for them.

Recruited a new guy?

Well, he's gonna need to prove himself before he's considered one of the team.

You throw him in the deep end, at a key position to see if he can cut it.

I guess you become attached, because despite the fact it's you giving the orders, it's

really all of these different heroes that are doing all the work.

You rely on them to do a job and to win.

You end up making each of them unique, using their skill tree to create things like archers

that specialise in poisoning the enemy, or dragons that nom, nom, nom, nom, eat up enemies

with under ten percent health.

There's layers of strategy that you need to use to win.

At any point, you can take control of the speed of the game.

You can pause at anytime to adjust what's going on, or slow down or speed up time when

necessary.

To help you out, Azra's also got a set of magic abilities for when things get dicey.

The timing of these moves can be crucial for success, especially later on in the campaign

when things get particularly difficult.

But if you don't win, it's not a problem.

You've got options to help you out.

You can go back to replay earlier levels, perhaps at harder difficulties to gain some

extra XP.

Even failing still earns you slight rewards.

You're never entirely wasting your time.

But there is one problem- every team member gets same amount of XP, regardless of what

they did or even if they ever entered the field or not.

It would have been nice if the characters that the do most work, levelled up the most,

encouraging you to think a bit more about exactly who should go where.

It would make you have the choice of whether you want to rely on the strongest, or give

the weakest the chance to grow.

This guy levels up as much as this girl- but clearly one's doing all the work!

But hang on a sec, why is that the slugs are the fastest units in the game!

Slugs, little slimy slugs.

All of the different types of enemy need to be handled in different ways, but unfortunately,

they lack variety visually.

Often they're just a pallet change, so the game could have done with more enemy types.

No bats?

No spiders?

What kind of video game is this!?!

But what's Defender's Quest's biggest flaw?

It's performance.

Modern consoles should easily be powerful enough handle this...

305 MB game.

But too often things slow right down, and cause glitches and even crashes, usually when

a lot of stuff is going on on the screen.

Overall the presentation is a little lacking.

The sprites are all fine, but things like the game's journal have a lot of fun stuff

in them, but their layout's not exactly that appealing.

It's all very basic, making you less inclined to read it.

Which is a shame- there is some funny stuff here, adding some more depth to the characters.

It took me 7 seven and a half hours to complete the game, but that's just start.

New game plus lets you take your characters onto harder versions of missions, plus some

new ones too.

As well as new journal entries and even a whole new currency system to buy the best

weapons with.

And plenty of secrets to uncover.

It really is worth playing long after credits role.

Initially I struggled with things, but I'm not a veteran T.D. player, but I did soon

get better.

There's always a better tactic to try, different orders to give and training to be done.

Check it out.

Next review I'm NOT going to be doing Metal Gear Survive, partly because I don't want

to enter the Metal Gear universe without Kojima at the helm.

Plus it doesn't look that good.

So next time... it's time to head to ancient Egypt to play...

Immortal Redneck.

Thanks for watching.

Conlanging book review (The Art of Language Invention) - Duration: 6:32.

What's up guys today's video is my first ever book review.

And it's about a book called the art of language invention,

which is a linguistics book,

and I think it's gonna be really interesting to anyone who likes languages. Now, when you're reading this book

It doesn't feel like you're reading a linguistics textbook.

It feels like you're in a conversation with a comedian who also happens to be really knowledgeable about

languages because it's so stinking funny. It's easy to understand and it's also really informative at the same time

It's called the art of language invention by David Peterson.

And this book offers a really interesting perspective on linguistics because it was written by the guy who came up with the fictional

languages for a lot of movies and TV shows like Game of Thrones.

And the book is basically about the painstakingly detailed steps that he goes through in order to make his fictional languages

behave and feel like real

languages from the real world, and he beetles a bunch of things that conlangers can do to understand these principles in an easy to

follow way. I'm a linguistics major and I can attest that everything in this book is valid linguistics theory.

It's not just something that some nerdy conlanger came up out of his own brain.

He describes actual phenomena that is attested in real linguistics,

but he does so in such a way that really held my attention. The first time I read this book was before I started

studying linguistics at the university level, so I had no more knowledge than the average Joe.

But he explains some deep linguistic principles in a way that anyone can understand, and my favorite example of this was his chapter on allophones.

The distinction between

allophones and phonemes is a really abstract

relationship. If you've ever taken an intro to linguistics course you probably remember the week on allophones being this

nightmarish section where just everything was totally abstract and nothing made sense and you might remember your professor talking about how a

phoneme is a type of abstract sound that's never actually pronounced

so it's not technically really a sound at all. It's more of a

category of sounds that is in contrastive distribution with another category of sounds which is made up of allophones,

which are in complementary distribution

with one another, and the only way you can tell if two sounds are allophones is if they're in complementary distribution,

except for the case of the glottal fricative and the velar nasal which basically proves that everything I just told you is a lie.

So doesn't make any sense. I've actually taken this book to school and used it to explain allophones to beginning linguistics students

because David does such a good job of making the information

comprehensible. In the chapter about phonology

he compares phonemes to a guy named Tony. And like phonemes, Tony changes depending on his

environment. In most environments Tony is a human, but under the environment of a full moon Tony becomes a wolf.

But in all environments, he's still Tony. So we can say that the abstract

identity of Toni can manifest itself in two different ways: wolf Tony and human Tony.

Where wolf Tony exists only in the environment of a full moon, and human Tony exists elsewhere, in every other

environment, but importantly we'll never find an environment where Tony exists as a wolf and a human at the same time.

I don't want to spend too much time in this video talking about phonemes.

If you still don't understand just read the book. David does a much better job of explaining this than I do.

But it's enough to say that I've never taken a phonology class where they use werewolves to explain the difference between

Phonemes and allophones, even though this is the perfect metaphor, and this is also the perfect example of David's writing style.

He makes it fun and easy to understand the information in a way that college courses

just can't. Like I said, I read this book before I went back to school, and when I did arrive at the

university, I remember my first semester taking a linguistics 100 course,

and it was in a huge lecture hall with hundreds of other undergrad students who were all racking their brains

trying to figure out

what was going on with this linguistics stuff, and I was one of the only

students who actually understood everything that was going on. And I think a big part of it is because I was so well prepared

just from reading this book. So if you're at all interested in linguistics,

or if you think you might ever take a linguistics course someday,

I highly recommend the art of language invention by David Peterson.

I picked this up on Amazon for like ten bucks or something.

I know it's $9.99 on Kindle, and I found this also on eBay.

I think there's one on eBay right now for like $2.69 so if you hurry up and get that one,

then get really good deal. But you can go use the paperback for super cheap

And I highly recommend it. The only thing

I'm gonna warn against is the audible, or any audio version of the book because there's just so many

charts and graphs and stuff in here, a lot of pictures, a lot of scripts from other languages.

In fact there's a whole

chapter that's just about written scripts and orthography, so you're not going to get the full experience

if you get the audible book or any audiobook version.

But other than that disclaimer,

I cannot recommend this book enough, especially if you think you might ever have an interest in conlanging or

constructed languages in any capacity. When I started reading this book for the first time I had absolutely no interest in the conlanging

community. I just wanted to learn about the linguistic theory that was inside the book.

But after making it all the way through it kind of opened my eyes to the really

vibrant community, and all kinds of different conlangs that exist out there.

And it's really interesting. It got me a kinda hooked on the idea and even if you have no interest in conlanging,

but you're just interested in real world languages

There's still a wealth of information in this book because he tries to make his conlangs as close to real world

languages as possible, and it will open up your minds to the depth and width of the bizarre things that real world languages do.

Even your own native language, which there's probably a ton of things that you never noticed about your language

but when you stop and think about it or read about it, you start to realize that this is a

really weird way of saying the stuff that I have just always felt is totally normal because I grew up speaking this language.

So that's where I'm gonna end the video

I hope you guys liked it, and I hope you guys go out and buy the book, and I'll see you all next week!

Marc Jacobs Shameless Foundation Review in BAHASA! 13H WEAR TEST (Eng SUB) - Duration: 11:05.

hello everyone! welcome back with me, Fena

this time I will

make this video a little different than the last one

because today I'm going to reviewing a new foundation

from Marc Jacobs that called

shameless youthfull look 24 hours longwear foundation

okay, the funny thing is

i have this foundation

since

november

or december 2017

or december 2017

my boyfriend gave it to me because he was going to propose me,

my boyfriend gave it to me because he was going to propose me,

my boyfriend gave it to me because he was going to propose me,

then he brought me makeups. and all the makeups

that he brought

turned out came from his relatives from America.

one of that is the Marc Jacobs,

one of that is the Marc Jacobs,

this is

the photo

the photo

of my gifts tray

that's the marc jacobs

it is the date when the photo taken

you may also see the photo

at my Event organizer's instagram account

the name is

Tuxedo organizer

there was my gifts tray

that been posted since january 6th

i am the person who don't really know all the

foundation, what types

and brand of alll the foundation in

whole over the world

i did not notice to this marc jacobs

because i did not know that this marc jacobs was not released yet

and after that because i

did not really know bout this marc jacobs

i just leave it on my dresser

i don't even touch it untill now

so at that time i accidentally watched youtube

and i found that some of the foreign vloggers

reviewing about this marc jacobs

and

shockingly i found that this marc jacobs is just lauched on the early february

so, if you want to know

the result of my review of this foundation

keep on watching!

now is 11.30 am

first i'm gonna apply primer

with benefit porefessional

and after that

use

my beauty blender

that sprayed with

armani prima from giorgio armani

and then i'm taking this marc jacobs

after i applied it, the foundation

turned ot to be matte

not sticky

and it is a medium coverage

which is i like. because i don't really

like to see my face

in too thick foundation

that too fake

and now i'm gonna use

concealer

i'm gonna use

the

sephora make no msitake

number

04

#oak

i will get a little

and put it onto my acne

there's a stubborn acne

that been there in weeks

actually it's only the scars

after that, i will use the same concealer

the same sephora

but in other shape, number 1

#driftwood

i will use it

under my eye

my chin, nose and forehead

so this is the result

after i applied concealer

i think so far the foundation is good.

after i applied the concealer there was no

any strange things happened

i will use

powder from mac

it was also given by

my fiancee when he proposed

the name is Mac x Chris Chang

prep and prime transparent finishing powder

so this is the final look of the makeup

so now i had use this foundation for 4 hours

the clock shows that it is 3.45pm

and i felt that this foundation made it

because the foundation blended well

on my face

there's no creasing

it just get oily

at this side of my cheeks

here

and my nose

but what is good from marc jacobs

eventhough it get oily

there are no makeups that moved from it's place

and i rarely found it in any other foundation

usually when i get sweting

my nose will creasing

or else i loose the makeup

but this time it stay in a good way

and i usually always yawn that produce tears

and breaks my eyemakeup

but my undereye still dry

and no breaking at all

ayeshadow and eyeliner still on theis place

and makes my eyes look good

eventhough

i wear it for 4 hours

so after 13 hours

the foundation still in good condition

on my face

surprisingly!!

but i get so much oil on some part of my face

just like my cheeks, nose and forehead.

nothing bad happened on my right side of cheeks

but my fiancee accidentally touched my left side of cheeks

so the makeup breaks in part where he

touched

and so much creasing happened on my nose

and my forehead get so much oil y

and i accidentaly scratch it with my fingers when i arranged my bangs

so there's a part that loosing it's makeup

and for the contour, blush on and highlighter

on my cheeks have faded a lil bit

it is still look okay

there's still pinkish part on my cheeks

so that is the result of my reviewing about marc jacobs

shameless youthfull look 24h longwear foundation

well it's impossible to say that it will lasts for 24 hours

because

it is only lasts for 12 hours

usage result for 13 hours creates creasing everywhere

and i think that is impossible for a person use foundation for more 24 hours

i mean

you guys must gonna sleep

and before sleep you will clean up your face

unless you sleep without cleaning up your face

but i guess it will still faded away because

your face will touch the pillow

so that was my result of reviewing

i hope you guys like it

don't forget to subscribe, like and comment

i'll see you next time

bye!

Sponsored Video: Firmoo Glasses Review - Duration: 2:28.

Hi! Today I just have a quick video about my new glasses.

These are kind of a big

deal for me, because for the last four years I've been wearing the same pair of

glasses. Which are these ones. And they were a game changer for me. I saw them

online as part of a buy one get two promotion, so I bought one pair that was

kind of similar to the pairs I had gotten before, then I got these ones,

which I thought looked very dramatic and over the top, and I didn't know if they

would actually suit me. And I just fell in love with them. The thing about

glasses is they change your face! They make a dramatic difference in how you

look. So I really loved those frames they made me a happier about how I looked.

Unfortunately, those frames are no longer being made, and the lenses were actually

starting to flake off, so I needed to replace them. So I went online to the

place I had bought my previous glasses, and I found out they had gotten rid of

the try on feature. If you don't know, the try on feature is where you upload a

picture of your face and you can overlay glasses frames onto your face to get a

rough idea of how they would look on you. It's how I bought my original frames, it

was why I kind of took the risk to buy something that was totally different

than the glasses that I had worn before. Without the try on view I had no idea

what the frames would look like on my face, so I knew I wasn't gonna buy there

again. And then, serendipitously, the company Firmoo sent me an email offering

me a free pair of glasses if I made a video review of them. And then I went on

their website and they have the try on feature! Which made me very, very happy.

And they have lots of frames to choose from, and a lot of different styles, and

they're all super cheap. I believe there aren't any ones that are over $39. These

were the ones I chose, because through their handy site I found out I want wide

frames, which I wasn't aware of before. And their customer service team was

fantastic, and these arrived really quickly, and they came in this adorable

little case. Overall, this has been a great shopping experience for me,

especially because it was something I really needed, and just out of the blue I

got to have them. And I also have a link down in the description where you can

get your own glasses from Firmoo for $4.95. Five dollars for glasses, including lenses. Which is

just ridiculous. I'm not sure if I'm gonna be wearing these frames full-time,

because I still haven't totally let go of my old frames. I think these are great

and they're very close, but... I don't know. I'm still looking for an even more exact

match, maybe, which is probably a pipe dream. Once again, if you're in the market

for glasses, or if you just want to try a new style for five dollars, you can't

really go wrong, so check out the link in the description where you can get your own

for $4.95, and thank you for watching!

REVIEW: I Am Not A Serial Killer by Dan Wells - Duration: 6:40.

Well hi there you!

Welcome back to TO READ OR NOT TO READ. I am so happy that I'm back doing review videos and today

I am going to review...

I Am Not A Serial Killer by Dan Wells

MUAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

So if you haven't been following my blog which I have been much more active on lately I have started doing

content rating -a sort of movie style rating to let people know the kind of content that's in a book and like what

general audience i would recommend it to this book i would rate at

PG-16 because it does have disturbing content and images, some violence,

thematic elements involving serial killers and DEATH and it has

kind of a dark tone so I would definitely only recommend this for mature

readers. Well, right off the bat there is one big bonus about this book.

Despite the PG-16 rating there is next to no swearing. I think there was maybe one damn in the entire book and

there is no smut!

Plus even when it's dealing with the grisly events that are in this book it does not go into

grotesque or gory detail. But yeah I'm not gonna lie. I Am Not A Serial Killer is dark.

It is macabre and morbid

I now know more about the embalming process than I ever knew I didn't want to know.

Yeah, I'm having a closed-casket funeral, thank you very much.

And as if that isn't dark enough this book also slams you front and center into the mind of a sociopath

And you want to know something?

It is absolutely fantastic

Oh my gosh I love this book, you guys

All right, now I do not do horror. I don't like slashers, I don't like scary stories.

I'm telling you an Alfred Hitchcock thriller or

maybe M Night Shyamalan's The Village is as high as i go on the intensity scale okay?

Wells has created something here that is so

unique and significant and compelling that I could

not put it down. You might notice this is not a library copy I'm holding for this review. This is the copy I

went out and bought after I read the library copy

-and realized that I wasn't taking the library copy back...

All right where do we begin?

John Wayne Cleaver is a 15 year old sociopath

worse than that he possesses several key predictors of a serial killer

He knows that he possesses the predictors of a serial killer and he fears that fate for

his future so much he has set himself a list of strict rules

To ensure that he never gives in to any of those compulsions

Even better this story is told from his perspective and when I say his

perspective I mean right front and center in his mind we get to see

everything. We see his dark side, we see his normal facade, and we see the fear he has of himself.

You want to talk about character depth? We are so deep in John's head -we are so deep in his point of view-

that this is not a book *about* John Wayne Cleaver.

This book IS John Wayne Cleaver.

Aaaaaand right about now you're probably thinking

Yeah, Amanda, this doesn't really sound like the book for me.

It sounds, you know, disturbing and messed up as all get-out,

so i'm just -I'm just -I'm just gonna go now. Kay? ...Yeah.

But that is THE THING!

The skill of Dan Wells' pen is evident here because of how well he

portrays John as a

sympathetic character.

Especially when it's being told from inside the guy's own head! There is no sugarcoating. This is all

blatant and black and white and stark and realistic.

John is complicated and terrifying and so vulnerable

and I absolutely love him

He is at once the hero and the antagonist of the story because

he wants to do the right thing but in order to do the right thing he feels that he has to rely a little bit

on his dark side which is a really really really bad thing. While John Wayne Cleaver

definitely takes the cake in the most interesting character department for this book

I have to say that the best character by far in the story is

Dr. Ben Neblin

He serves as John's therapist and the moral compass of

the story and that is a crucial thing to have in this kind of material

Neblin almost wins hands down for this quote alone:

"You are always in control of your own destiny and you are always the one who makes your own choices

No one else."

Truer words were never spoken and when you're dealing with material as dark and heavy as this, it is important

Nay- VITAL

to make such a brutal and blatant distinction as

to who must stand responsible for the reprehensible actions not only in this book but in the reality beyond it

and that is why i love this book

Just, so we're clear as much as I have been going off about

character and narration, the plot is just as good I mean there are literally no downsides

to this book

for me this is an amazing book

and Wells also manages a good balance between John's own removed emotions

and the gravity and reverence with which the other characters

treat those same events that he still manages to make the book as a whole respectable

And, as only the truly great writers, Wells manages to use every instance of that difference as a

building block for John's character depth and development, intertwined with the plot details.

How many times? How many times do I have to proclaim my love of all things character?!

I Am Not A Serial Killer is unique, raw,

challenging, and beautifully written.

Everyone should read this. If you read one book this year that I recommended you

Make it this one. Make it this one!

I -this book-

I Am Not A Serial Killer

by Dan Wells gets 5 out of 5 stars from me. I mean I have no complaints about this book, I love

every single thing about it and you know what? The rest of them are pretty good too

That is all from me welcome back to TO READ OR NOT TO READ and hey

Thank you for being here i can't wait to share more videos with you and i will see you guys later

All right, Amanda out!

DJI OSMO MOBILE 2 IN-DEPTH REVIEW - Duration: 6:40.

Most of the time when we buy an iPhone (or another expensive cellphone) we don't stop

at that purchase, NO ! We want far more expensive supplementary kit like professional lenses,

and gimbals to smooth footage.

Salut ! Bonjour and Welcome back to my channel. Céline here ! Glad to see you, let's talk

about the Osmo Mobile 2.

If you are new, here is a quick introduction :

I am a TV journalist for over 17 years now and I'm passionate about new technologies.

So if you like reviews, tutorials, vlogs consider subscribing.

Now let's get back to business and talk about the brand new DJI Osmo mobile 2 !

The most common use of a gimbal is shooting while walking.

Normally, you'd get a jerky up-and-down movement with each step, which a gimbal smooths out

The Osmo Mobile 2 doesn't entirely eliminate the up-and-down motion, but it does transform

a very abrupt movement into a smooth, gently bobbing one.

Look for yourself :

This is particularly useful for vloggers who do lots of walk-and-talk– though personally

I like my camera to stay steady when I talk to you…which brings me to the next point

:

My second favorite option on the Osmo mobile 2 is the subject-tracking.

Place the Osmo Mobile 2 on a tripod, select tracking mode and point it at a person. It

will then automatically track that person's movements, moving the camera to keep them

in the shot.

In order to do it « alone » (because there is nobody who will touch the screen for you

so the gimbal can track you)

just use an accessory and select on the screen the accessory…

let's see if it is working.

This is my favorite option on this gimbal : for me, the most impressive trick the Osmo

Mobile 2 can perform is a motion time-lapse.

The standard iPhone camera app can, of course, do a conventional time-lapse.

But the OM2 can move the camera during the time-lapse, panning left oto right, tilting

up and down, or any combination you like.

It can even do more than one movement – for example, panning from left to right and then

tilting up.

Motion time-lapse is something that normally requires significantly more expensive devices.

But here all you need is the Osmo Mobile 2 and the free DJI Go app – plus either a

Time-lapses with motion look much more impressive than ordinary ones.

It can also do hyper-lapses: time-lapse video shot while moving.

So you know the iPhone has it own stabiliser, and so does the gimbal….so what makes stabilisation

on stabilisation? Jittery footage !

So is there conflicts like on the first Osmo mobile?

Boya BY-M1 Lavalier microphone Unboxing & Sound Test Review - Duration: 4:13.

so what's up guys I'm Mash from techmash and today I'm going to review

the Boya BY-M1 lavalier microphone so this microphone is compatible with

smart phone DSLR or anything like that and here is the feature if you want to

read it then just pause here and you can read it and this microphone has a really

long cable it is actually specifically six meter long cable and here is the box

itself as you can see and I'm going to unbox it right now

so in the box as you can see you will first get a

pouch which as you can see made by Boya and in this pouch here there will be the

microphone and here as you can see the user manual and which no one's read but

it's there if you want to read it so just put it aside and the next thing in

the Box is a card it's a notice card just let me focus it as you can see

there is some instruction or something like that just put it aside and here is

the adapter the adapter for your DSLR or professional camera if you want to

record the audio with DSLR or professional camera you can do it so I

just put everything aside and in the pouch it and in the pouch you can see

the micros microphone itself and just let me focus the microphone here as you

can see also the clip and you have to clip it with your shirt and then you can

record it and here is the jack 3.5 millimeter audio jack so you can plug it

directly to your mobile or your PC and if you want to use it with your

professional camera you can also do it with the adapter so it is it it is the

controller for the boy a B Y M one microphone and there is you can see boya

written and here camera there is two mode for camera or the next is for a

smartphone or laptop so if you want to record with your smartphone then you

have to put it on the smartphone mode or if you want to record with your camera

then you have to put the mode to camera mode okay so the microphone requires a

battery they already included a battery in the microphone itself just let me

show you we just have to open this part and here is the better itself it's a

normal battery which usually used for which usually use for clock so it's the

normal battery you will get almost everywhere so don't worry about

it and with my normal usage I would say

that the bettery will last you around six to seven months so you don't need to

worry to change it frequently and it's also a common battery for clock so you

can also find the replacement of the battery as well so you don't have to

worry about this so you are wondering how the audio quality of this microphone

will be sound like so this video is completely recorded with this microphone

I made voiceover with this microphone so you already got the idea

how the microphone sounds like so in my opinion this boya microphone is a

complete steal around the budget of 20 to $25 so with a little bit of audio

editing and some end enhancement you can get really great quality of

great quality audio with this microphone so that's it hope you enjoyed this video

if you do then please hit the like button and if you want to know more

about this microphone and or any suggestion then let me know that in the

comment section below so hope to see in the next video

you

Boat Review - 'Waka Tere' Custom Rayglass Protector With John Eichelsheim - Duration: 5:46.

John Eichelsheim for Boating New Zealand Magazine. Today we're aboard 'Waka Tere.'

A 12.5 metre custom Rayglass, that divides it's time between the

dry stack at Orahms in Auckland and Waiheke Island.

So no shortage of power on this vessel. A couple of 5.3 letre

Yamaha V8 outboards. It's good for about 43-44 knots.

She really gets along. The special thing about these is they have

the new Optimist Steering System. Which allows the motors to move independently.

So I'd like to introduce Matt Jackson from Ovlov Marine. Matt's been

very involved in this project right from the offset. I'd really like to ask

you Matt about this Optimist System. Thanks John.

The beauty about the system is the

mamovability of the boat. Being a dry stack boat and been at this length, it was

quite technical to move it in and out of the stack.

Not only is it fully electric power steering.

Also eliminates the need for hydraulic hoses running up to the helm.

Installation is fairly quick. What we originally got it for was the joystick steering.

Joystick allows full movement of the boat, just at your fingertips.

So you can crab sideways, then in circles. It also has the advantage of the

Sea Station virtual anchoring system. So we can hold position,

and also can hold heading, at the same time.

So the helm console..It's relatively compact. Everything is within easy

reach, and more importantly it's easy to see. We've got a 12 inch the latest

Raymarine 12 inch Axiom Multi function display. We've got a Raymarine auto pilot.

Data display here. Also the latest Yamaha instrument cluster there as well.

That's all digital. The whole system is digital so there's nothing

nothing analog here at all. We've also got a helms control here,

so that you can swap them between various ways of steering this boat.

The cockpit island here is a custom-built piece of kit

It's a one off. Made especially to the owners

specifications. It's a multi- purpose piece of gear it's got a

sink in here, there's a place to prepare food etc. If you're staying in the boat

overnight, it's also somewhere to house the gas bottle for the gas cooker.

He also keeps the little outboard motor for the dinghy that

normally sits on the bow, that's kept in here as well.

So a great piece of kit. Purpose built just for this boat.

So this vessel has multiple purposes, the owner uses it for several things.

One of its functions is to take people to and from his home on Waiheke Island.

So it's used as a taxi. When it's used in that capacity the dinghy that normally

sits on the bow here, he'll use that to take him to shore from the boat.

Then he has another boat, a little sea legs which is called: 'Waka Tere Ete.'

That's used to transport any gear that he might have, and people from this boat to shore.

With that in mind he has a mooring at the island so he's got a

permanent mooring line up here on the bow. A really heavy duty... all of the

stainless work is custom for this particular boat. One of the problems

they had with this boat was in order to fit it into the dry stack, they needed to

make sure that it wasn't too tall. So they really had to work very very hard

on how they positioned everything. Particularly the the radar dome, and the

fleur on the hardtop roof. There was very little clearance and this is actually

the largest boat in Orhams dry stack at the moment, at twelve point five meters.

Now most Rayglass's even the smaller models, would have a bow thruster in this

position here in the bow. But because this has the optimist steering system it

doesn't require a bow thruster. As a result they've got this huge locker

space up forward which is a very useful place to store all kinds of gear.

So the owners will overnight on this boat sometimes.

There's plenty of room in here to sleep 2 or even 4 people.

We've got a couple of ordinary bunks at this level.

Then we've got two Pipe Berths above. There's a head behind me.

No shower in there, but there is a shower in the cockpit.

So we've got a pretty decent little galley here.

A little four burner hob here.

Plus an oven underneath, and a grill.

This is all gas of course.

We've got an electric 12-volt Isotherm electric fridge.

The owner also has a gas BBQ that he likes to put on the transom. On a nice day.

So there you are, that's the largest of the 'Waka Teres.' As you can see

it's a pretty special vessel. It's something I'm sure the owner will enjoy

immensely and it's a vessel that I think people in

Auckland are going to get quite used to seeing.

Best lip sleeping mask laneige review 2018| Cure for dry, chapped lips - Duration: 13:08.

hello guys today's video is a review video recently I bought this

laneige lip sleeping mask which is in berry flavor I want to explain one

thing that this is not a sponsored video whatever I'm going to say it's all my

personal opinion and I'm not going to pay it for anything so lots of you guys

if you have been my subscriber or if you're the new viewers you

know that I always do some reviews whatever I use. My lips they are a very

chapped and I have very bad habit of eating my lips actually I would say

because whenever there is some dryness it just made me irritated and what I

do I started eating like all those chapped lips

which is actually a bad thing and it makes your lips more dry but I don't

know whether I don't drink plenty of water or I have tried lots of things people say

when you are not properly hydrated it means your lips they will show by having

a dryness so I tried this laneige lip sleeping mask which was in

berry flavor and it was a coincidence that I bought

this mask I didn't know that it's very famous mask or whatever

I saw it and then I thought that I should give it try to lip sleeping mask

that it's the thing that there is something that you can apply while

sleeping on your lip before this sleeping mask

I had the routine that I used to apply Vaseline on my lips which actually

moisturize your lips no doubt Vaseline does that but what

actually the purpose of vaseline is it actually locks the moisture on your lips

it does not moisturize your lips and that's what I have read and understood

about Vaseline that it actually if your skin is hydrated it will lock the

moisture but if it is not it does not give you the moisture it just protect

the moisture so the main problem with my lips that I lacked the moisture

component on my lips and which I actually need it and also I have some

discoloration on my lips and I feel like that I have and so I thought maybe any

sleeping mask would help in these discoloration or the chapped lips or the

moisture issue so that was a reason that I bought this this product

this is the packaging if you open it

this is the product and with this product they also give you

this highlighter oh sorry it's a applicator and you can see for

the application and there is one leaflet I'm going to show you the texture it

also comes with a small cap and then I have been using this mask for almost two

weeks and you can see that it's still it's just looking like that I haven't

used a lot but I have used and whenever I apply. I apply a very thick quantity on

my lips actually the product is I think the product is too much

the price of this product is almost $20 but you can see that I think for $20

the product will last long more then for me I think three to four months it

should be color less thing I have showed you it's a colorless and it has a bit of

fragrance but the point is that the fragrance is not that much that if you

open the lid and you will know oh oh my god there's something

which has lots of fragrance in it no it does not have that much fragrance

but if you close your nose it to the lid to the container then you will have the

fragrance otherwise you will not feel even and if you apply it on your lips you don't

feel any fragrance at all until unless you are very sensitive but it's the

fragrance is not that strong that you cannot tolerate and the fragrance is so

sweet especially some times

- if I smell it I really want to eat it and I have to decide whether I want to

keep it on my lips or I just want to eat it so that's the main thing but I don't

eat it because obviously it's not a natural thing what are the ingredient in

this Laneige slip slipping mask they have actually uses vitamin C shea butter

and various fruit extracts like raspberry strawberry and goji berries to

soothe and smooth in your lips and it actually claims that they have a special

technology which they called moisture wrap TM which creates a mineral network

of beta glucans over the lips to lock in hydration and keep lips

moisturize for up to eight hours so actually this is the thing that it

actually keeps your lips moisturized up to eight hours I have noticed when I

wake up in the morning my lips they are very soft and they are not only soft and

moisturized but I have also felt that it actually improves the color of your lip

which is the thing which I didn't expect that it would do but it does and another

important or the very good thing I have noticed that it gives your lips juicy

effect so they look more like plumpy or too juicy one maybe it's because of the

hydration actually your lips they become juicy or plumpy because I didn't do

anything but my lips they are they are not very

thick or juicy usually but I have noticed when I wake up with the slipping

my lips slipping masks have noticed this thing

that my lips they are more smooth juicy and a sort of plumpy and

especially if after that I apply lipsticks it actually go through

over my lips very smoothly so yes it it works it actually it works

for me and how I apply this product on my lips I actually take the

applicator you can also use your clean finger I have showed you have

to take you have to take the applicator and then you have to apply

the thick layer of this lip sleeping mask on your lips and then you go to the

bed and sleep in the morning if you have excess of product on your lips then you

you can wipe it off I do not have excessive product I don't know even I

apply way too much on my lips but still when I wake up maybe I just eat it in

the night because of the fragrance I don't know but at morning I don't feel

that there is some left over the point is that I was reading lots of reviews

like when there are lots of reviews in the product section I was noticing there

were lots of people who claimed that this mask didn't work for them so maybe

for some people it didn't work but I was wondering how could it possible if

this is the mask it should work and it's for all skin type and even if it is it

especially designed for the chronically chapped lips so

there are different hypotheses I have come with or maybe if some people who

have this mask and the thing that is not working for them so they can try so

maybe it will work for them so one thing just to exfoliate your lips just do not

rely on this product and exfoliate your lips with sugar

a bit of olive oil or a bit of lemon and exfoliate do generous exfoliation on

your lips because sometimes it happens that we think that they are our lips

they do not need exfoliation but yes they do they also

have dead skin and you have to exfoliate your skin your lips also like you do on

your face I would prefer that always use sugar olive oil and the lemon sort of

things for the exfoliation because they are natural sometimes you when you apply

the product on your lips there are chances you will eat it

so just because of that always go natural for your lips and another

situation I would have for them is to use this product not only at night also

in the morning and with this product they can also have a bit of almond oil

they can apply on it on their lips and then they they apply this lip sleeping

mask so I think this will add more benefit because almond oil it enrich

in vitamin E and it gives the moisture so when if you have you're thinking you

have this mask and it's not working so you can try different things to make it

work or because some people they have different reasons to have chapped lips

so if it's the reason or maybe or if you are dehydrated the main point is that if

you're dehydrated trust me nothing will work on your lips up from outer side

because you are dehydrated from inside so make sure you are not dehydrated you

are taking enough water according to your weather conditions especially 8

glasses of water is recommended but I think but I have noticed it depends on

the weather condition sometimes you need more than eight glasses of water if you

live in a in a very Humid and dry weather you don't

have lots of moisture so you will need more than eight glasses of water and if

you sweats a lot then you also need lots of water because you are losing your

moisture from your body and if you drink lots of coffee tea I also take tea but not

too much but if you take too much coffee and tea it will also actually give you

dryness on your lips because the coffee and the tea they actually is

steal the moisture from your skin that's why it is not recommended for having the

good skin not to use tea and coffee so maybe for some people who this mask

didn't work it it is because of some other reason I didn't see that this product

would have something which will not work for anyone see for me I would recommend

this product to to everyone but then again it depends on you if you think you

don't have enough funds and you cannot afford separate lips sleeping mask here

is one trick for you you can apply your face mask I mean face sleeping mask on

your lips so it will actually work like the same

lip sleeping mask but definitely it is for face and it is not designed for lips

but it will also help so those who wouldn't have lots of budget or can not

buy or can not afford or do not have access to or whatever the reasons they

can actually apply their face sleeping mask on their lips and it will

also hydrate their lips if you like my channel if you like my videos please comment below subscribe bye bye

WWE Elimination Chamber 2018: Reactions & Review || CACAO TV - Duration: 5:07.

WWE Elimination Chamber 2018: Reactions & Review

Here's my final thoughts on WWE Raw's Elimination Chamber 2018!.

Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson vs.

The Miztourage (Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel).

Reactions: Basic tag team action that's a staple of the last hour of Raw? CHECK! Only moment worth caring about here is the notion that The Revival and Gallows and Anderson are still at each other's throats.

The match as a whole was as bland and generic as it gets, though….

Rating: 1 & a Half out of 5 Stars.

Cesaro and Sheamus (c) vs.

Titus Worldwide (Apollo and Titus O'Neil) (with Dana Brooke) (WWE Raw Tag Team Championship).

Reactions: This was just alright, I guess.

It didn't veer too far away from the type of match we've seen from both men on previous editions of Raw.

"The Bar's" tag team mastery, Titus' hot streak of moves, and Apollo's hype inducing maneuvers are always fun to watch, of course.

But all four men didn't do anything that much different from what I expected of them.

The winners were never in doubt, which made this match a little less interesting too.

"The Bar's" reign rages on….

Rating: 2 out of 5 Stars.

"Woken" Matt Hardy vs. Bray Wyatt.

Reactions: I gotta give props to Bray and Matt for at least making the start of this rematch a fun affair.

It may have taken forever to finally hear "Woken" Matt Hardy's twisted theme song, but at least it was finally delivered during this PPV.

As for what both men did in the ring, it was par for the course.

It was miles better than their Raw 25 meeting, but not exactly a barn burner of epic proportions.

I wasn't all that into it to be honest, as was the live crowd (who got into some beach ball antics and started chanting "CRUI-SER-WEIGHT!" all the while).

Matt wins, Bray continues to look worthless, and…yeah, that's all there was to it.

Rating: 2 out of 5 Stars. Asuka vs.

Nia Jax (If Nia Wins, She'll be Added to the WWE Raw Women's Championship Match at WrestleMania 34).

Reactions: This grudge match was pretty intense! While it wasn't as great as their NXT encounters, this hotly contested bout still provided some good action.

Nia's unbridled rage pushed her to power down Asuka over and over.

Asuka was quick to the punch at certain points of the match as she utilized her many strikes and submissions.

But Nia proved to be as formidable as she usually is and stuffed Asuka into the ground.

Both women never slowed down the pace as they laid into each other with big move after big move.

Nia looked great in defeat and Asuka once again toppled her much bigger opponent.

This was a fun sprint that thankfully provided a shocking post-match assault.

2018 BMW M760Li xDrive REVIEW - Duration: 5:12.

Today I'm in the back of a car with a price tag of €300.000,-

I can stretch my legs, I am almost lying back here

For the record: I'm in a BMW M760Li, powered by V12 Biturbo engine

Good for a maximum power of 610 hp and 800 Nm torque

0 to 100 km/h only takes 3.7 seconds and it stops accelerating at 305 km/h

And when I hear those numbers, I definitely want to get behind the wheel

Let's change!

This is the reason that I wanted to change!

Today we are in Germany, currently on the German Autobahn witht the M760Li

It feels like a fish in the water on the Autobahn

This specific car has the M Driver's Package, which means that it's limited a 305 km/h instead of 250 km/h

Unfortunately we are currently also driving with winter tires... They are limited at 240 km/h

But still nothing the complain about; the max speed in the Netherlands is only 120 km/h

And a car like this only comes to live above 120 km/h

It's no joke, this car feels good at speeds above 150 a 160 km/h

Of course it's also very fast from 0 to 100 km/h, only 3.7 seconds

But the best are the 100 - 200 km/h accelerations, crazy!

610 hp worth of luxury...

Even before I started driving this car today...

I was doubting if the M760Li was worth wearing that M-badge

But as soon as you start driving, you forget about that question

1) It has the looks of a BMW M

2) It has the performance of a BMW M

3) And it also has the sound of a BMW M

This V12 engine sounds absolutely gorgeous

Of course it's not a car for the Swiss Alps

Also not a car for any other mountain road, although it's still possible

It's just way too heavy; 2.2 tons and is 5.2 meters in length

But it are the ingredients to drive in a very comfortable and relaxed way

And thát's what this car doest best

Is it worth wearing an M-badge? Yes of course it is!

It has the sounds, the looks and the performance... We accept that M-badge

BMW is producing the 7-series since 1987, also available with a V12 engine all that time

But BMW never produced it as a luxurious and powerful BMW M limousine

And now they finally do it, it's definitely a success

We see more and more cars like the M760Li getting registered

The only downside is that I can't get it with diplomatic license plates

You should need one... It's só fast

The BMW M760Li is ridiculous!

Cirrus SR22 full flight review - Duration: 9:31.

Hmm something's different something's changed.

It was supposed to be a plane I've lived in Melbourne for like almost two years

now and I still can't do that latte art on top. I can't even do it leaf the thing

where you do the swizzle and the line down the middle and you get... Anyway we're off

to the airport right now driving down to Moorabbin again as usual. It's a

beautiful day actually in Melbourne there were some pretty strong winds

overnight we had some gusting 35 40 knots on the TAFs but that's all gone

now and the clouds seem to be lifting. I'm gonna jump in the Cirrus as usual

have a bit of a practice flight yeah looking forward to getting back into the

air again it's been a couple of weeks since I was in the Cirrus and as always

looking forward to seeing Tango Delta Sierra again.

Of course, all jokes aside this isn't Tango Delta Sierra this is Echo Echo

Tango. This is a Cirrus sr22. You know I've been talking for a while about

going up from the sr20 to the sr22 and I just thought this is a good one to try.

Now interestingly with this aircraft if you take a look you can see it's an all

analog panel so we've got the analog dials here. There is this

Safran multifunction display this is where the engine temps and pressures and

the moving map is going to come up during the flight. Got the transponder, two

Garmin 430s, S-TEC 55 autopilot and that's our comms

panel. And everything down here is pretty much exactly the same as Tango Delta

Sierra. That's the really nice thing about the Cirrus aircraft it takes like

five minutes not even that it takes like a couple of minutes once you jump on

board just to see what's different, what's in a different place. Then you

realize nothing's in a different place and it's actually all very similar and

you can jump in and fly.

Alright you need to fine me ten dollars every time I say

Tango Delta Sierra cos it's gonna happen. You do realise you've got that recorded now.

Everyone's gonna hold me to it now. Echo Echo Tango traffic the Foxbat

upwind is remaining in the circuit. Cleared for takeoff.

Cleared for takeoff, copy the traffic Echo Echo Tango.

So there's 40 knots. 50 knots keep the power going.

All stations general broadcast, a large bird reported on upwind.

Flaps up. Caps is now available. Fuel pump off.

Look at your rate of climb. Far out. I told you she goes!

So we'll just have a practice circuit or just a normal circuit. Okay and what's speeds are we looking

for here? We want 90 on base, 80 on final, 75 over the keys.

Latrobe Valley traffic, Echo Echo Tango turning base runway 03 Latrobe Valley.

Latrobe Valley traffic Echo Echo Tango

turning final runway 03 touch and go. Latrobe Valley.

It's a little bit heavier in the nose, so just hold it off a bit.

Hold it off, hold it off.

70 knots.

It's funny you've hit 70 knots before you've actually finished for the throttle. I know I looked up and we're already over 70.

Flaps. Caps is available. Fuel pump off.

Can we do another one? Yeah we're gonna have a look at a short field this time. Yeah cool.

Latrobe Valley traffic Echo Echo Tango early downwind runway 03 Latrobe Valley.

Latrobe Valley traffic Echo Echo Tango turning base runway 03 Latrobe Valley.

Latrobe Valley traffic Echo Echo Tango turning final runway 03, full stop. Latrobe Valley.

Now when you bring the power back earlier the nose will want to

drop. Yeah okay. So we just have to be mindful of that

Working well, that's very nice. That's looking very good.

It sinks quite fast actually, is that different to the SR20? It's because of the weight.

Yeah it's a huge engine. Yeah I noticed that.

We'll go back around and what we'll do is we'll do a short field takeoff.

So we'll do the short field takeoff then we'll have a look at a glide approach. All right.

So it feels familiar. Yeah. It doesn't feel like it's a whole

new you know it's not an information overload it's just a resetting your mindset

with the speeds and trying to stay a bit more ahead of the aircraft. But it

doesn't feel, that's the nice thing about Cirrus I guess, it doesn't feel like a

brand new aircraft.

Latrobe Valley traffic, Echo Echo Tango is rolling runway

03 for circuits. Latrobe Valley. Alright so full power all right now hold

Temps and pressures are good letting go.

40 knots there already. 50. 60. There's your rotation, away you go.

Holy hell that's good

The SR20 is a bit nicer for glides than what the 22s are simply because of

the weight. Right okay so just go to a fail now, and then judge it so

have a look it up to see how you're descending. Now do you reckon you're going to get it?

Yeah yeah we have height now 88 there we go yep so now go flaps.

It's just a really really clever aircraft.

Now we're going to have a look at a low level go around, which I'll get you to do. All right.

So go around, full power, right rudder. Full power, right rudder, hold it level.

Moorabbin Tower, Cirrus Echo Echo Tango at Carrum, 1500, received Romeo, inbound.

Echo Echo Tango Moorabbin Tower. Join final runway three five left. Three five left,

Echo Echo Tango.

So that's the SR22. That's the SR22. I do like it

All right, tie downs are ... tied down. Chocks are chocked.

Airplane's in a pretty good condition that's pretty much it. Alright I've got to rock home but

let's have a full and honest review of the SR 20 versus the sr22 which is best?

Spoiler alert... no, no, which is best? The proper review, coming up.

the stability is great

i am 100% happy with the lockdown

feel for the ball was amazing and very direct without loosing the support for shooting and passing

the grip gives a good support too

you have no problems on whatever conditions you play

The traction on AG is amazing, on FG its not really good

thats because the studs are not deep enough for gras pitches

The durability is great in comparison with previous versions

i had no issues except that the colour went dark and the soleplate lost the shine

the boot may last one season

now my conclusion about the new superfly 6

the boot is great because of the good touch and lockdown

the fit is great for normal feet but also smal and a little wider feet

the comfort caused little problems but nothing serious

The grip is also good, i rate the boots with 9,5 out of 10 points

i reccomend the boot to players who prefer a direct touch and good grip

also players who have not too wide feet and who are willing to give up a little comfort for a great lockdown

i am going to wear this boot in a few games

how do you like the new superfly 6 ? feel free to ask any questions in the comments

thanks for watching and see you next time, ciao

LEGO Avengers Infinity War Outrider Dropship Attack review! 76101 - Duration: 5:58.

hello again this is the Lego Marvel Super Heroes outrider dropship attack

set and it is small and cheap oh hey check out the pinned comment on the

video if you haven't already mm-hmm small this is most of the set here in

the palm of one hand you know what though I kind of like this build I think

it's probably way undersized but was well chosen to be given such a small

size to allow us to have an inexpensive set it kind of works I really like the

color scheme the dark turquoise or a teal color against the dark blue is very

nice and I also liked when I was putting it together when the the teal color came

up next to the dark hannah0 is just a little bit of the ladder in there and

yeah they're pretty nice got a couple of stud shooters here you can turn up and

down the kind of angle outward you know but that's that's okay it has two

identical windscreen pieces one at the front one at the back you can change the

angles of these little fins if you want bring them up I just have one sticker on

each I mean the thing went together pretty quickly but it was not a boring

build even though it's small and to get inside of it you bring the wings down

and they naturally stop there they don't keep going so I appreciate that as well

the fact that they stopped at the top and at the base and then you can bring

both of these down and you just have your a couple dudes in there the one at

the front gets a console just a little stickered piece there obviously it looks

like they're going after black panther or something in Wakanda and this dude

gets to look over the space stone how did they get the space stone I know it's

not just powering this one little dropship now surely they are they have

captured it in there taking it back somewhere so you need to stop them and

get that thing and by you I of course mean the unstoppable forces of good and

righteousness such as a representation of whoever that

guy is on the Left we're in Captain America's outfit and whoever this is on

the right with the Black Widow style hair but in a different color this is

very confusing to my brains I mean yeah comics do this all the time but I don't

read comics so I I just I cannot make this work for me in my head

Captain America we've seen coming we've seen his transformation so I guess I can

make that work in my head but going blonde for Black Widow and then changing

over to this sand green color for the top oh it's rough it's rough for the

brains but that's not Legos fault it's not Marvel so either it's it's it's my

fault I just need to get with it both of these figures are done well I think I'm

gonna use some print on the hips and legs for Captain America but the face I

think is pretty good I like the two tones for the facial hair kind of blends

it up a little bit towards the single color for the actual head hair not a big

fan of the face for Black Widow here to be honest it's it's just too plain to me

but when you look at the alternate faces here

both of these look good to me all of these work especially when you

frame them up with the hair pieces of course we know what's really going on

with cap over here and he's just a big fan of Wolverine the set comes with two

outriders hey that is a good thing because I think these are really

cool-looking figures I'm going to call these characters blurk on the left and

franck on the right that's their their proper names officially now mistake with

these I'm pretty sure with the six arms as I've mentioned before I think they're

supposed to be four I think that Lego probably got bad concept art or art that

was just a little bit too early and then you know things were

changed during the production process which is a common problem not Legos

fault at all you can bring it down to four arms like that pretty easily still

leaves the little thing sticking out but you know if you want a little bit more

accuracy it's really easy to just take a couple arms off but I think they look

good with all six you know even even with the inaccuracy I think they're just

really good looking figures the prints look good on the heads on the torsos

front and back so that was pretty easy I think this is a nice set the price to

part ratio doesn't look great but I think the price to volume of stuff and

value of stuff that you get is actually much better than the price depart ratios

suggests because you do get four figures amongst those parts and figures

themselves are typically valued at like three bucks

sometimes more each and these are not bad figures I have some accessories they

have pretty good prints definitely could have used in my opinion some sort of

print for four caps legs at least but otherwise just no real complaints man

not the biggest fan of that face there but it's okay so that's about all I have

to say about this set I will move on to the next thing thanks for watching and

I'll talk to you in soon

you

LEGO Avengers Infinity War Hulkbuster Smash-Up review! 76104 - Duration: 13:36.

hey everyone this is the Lego Marvel superheroes Hulkbuster smash up set this

may have some spoilers for The Avengers infinity war movie so if you don't want

to see any of that be sure not to watch videos about infinity war stuff also

please be sure to check out the pinned comment on the video before you comment

yourself let's get into this thing the original Lego Hulk Buster set was

very successful on all accounts and this one seems to try to just follow in its

footsteps and bring in some evolutionary updates it's very similar in its overall

size I feel like it's a little bit more sleek in the torso in the trunk and

fortunately is a little bit bulked up in the feet the original one was definitely

lacking and plain with its feet this one is is longer in the feet which gives you

better stability and they even actually brought in articulating toes for this

one and those will move independently there's just enough friction in there

for those to actually contribute to stability so they will actually help you

to hold this in some poses the pose ability is about normal for a figure of

this size we've got ball joints up here which

fortunately are not at all encumbered by any sort of pauldrons or anything so you

get the full rotation range there and kind of bring this across a little bit

but you can also bend at the elbow so you can end the elbow in this way or you

could rotate it this way to put it into more of the curling pose the fingers are

independent you get the thumb there as well come at me bro you know you can do

some some pretty expressive things with with this which is pretty good the legs

have ratcheted joints for the hips and those go back and forth and also allow

you to splay the legs in and out you are a little bit limited on how far you can

go with the you know with bringing the leg back just with the foot the way that

the foot is done right here there's that that blocking point there however with

the toes you can go beyond that a bit and still have good stability like I

said so here by bending the toes I still have multiple points of contact with the

ground and let me bring this leg forward a bit more

so this is still really in contact with the ground

all the way so it's able to to you know move more to make it more dynamic in its

appearance this is actually there we go it's just starting to fall down those

kind of getting towards the the limits of what it can do but there we go

that's stable I think that it's able to do pretty well but this arm over here is

just kind of flapping around and that's actually because they have an action

feature built into that for punching things so you can do an uppercut or you

can set it up to do a smash from above and kids will love that I think I think

it's a really good action feature a good you know good integration of an action

feature I suppose you could build that to have that locked out if you want to

be able to pose that for more static poses but being able to to do that to

actually knock things out to run up to or boost up to a figure and then just

smash it I think is good I'd say operator accommodation is a weak point

on this set you can see the hands showing from the outside with the ironic

the driver that this gets in this set you can close everything up very nicely

with these side panels and the front one when there's no figure in there but as

soon as you put a figure in there because of it's really just the the

grille pieces they're getting in the way of the elbows it becomes tricky to find

a good pose and I tried different levels of putting it in or not I think that it

ends up working best if you leave those grille pieces off you get just a little

bit more room to push the elbows back like this is even right now not the body

isn't all the way in there he's leaning forward just a little bit but that's

that's just a little bit lacking there's also no real console though they do have

this trans light blue piece here so you could just imagine that being you know a

display that's lit up also there's just a little bit of durability issue here I

found when you grab this or when you're putting the figure in and closing it up

it's very easy to knock off there perfect

one of these side panel pieces they're just not attached to all that well it's

just two studs each and feels like they needed a little bit more for those

particular parts with their specific clutch power against these modified

plate pieces so I tend to prefer and see it's not even held that that securely so

I tend to prefer to run this with no figure in it and just imagine it because

then you can set all these panels up exactly how you want with no gaps you

can have that inset just a little bit get it wherever you want and it looks

really good and it works just fine like this but when you start to try to put a

figure in you do see kind of that I think the worst design limitation in

this putting it in okay but then closing it up mmm that's really about the best

you can do right there with the hands visible I don't think I showed this from

around the back just yet at least not particularly well it's it's fine it

doesn't have a lot of anti studs showing doesn't have a lot of technics stuff

showing and most importantly to me it does not have strange colors visible so

no weird green pieces or regular blue parts are showing up you know they've

got a little bit of tan dark tan in this but otherwise the color scheme is pretty

consistent and I definitely appreciate that and need to call that out because I

always call out when they do what I believe is a poor job of hiding the

weird colored pieces but here I think they've done a pretty good job just I'm

making some logical decisions on the bad guys side you get this turret in

placement and that's able to actually fire off these large black spheres and

you get two of those in the set in total and yeah it's it's a thing you know it's

an installation it's a place to put a bad guy

you're up there and it's also something that you can attack with your home

posture so I think it's it's effective enough it actually has a secondary

action feature built into it where you can use your home Buster to smash it so

basically break it knock it down like that I think that's

fine it's good to have something that shows that it has been taken out of

commission and around the back of it just just casually they just have a

little little pantry here and you can just open that up and retrieve the

soulstone the orange Saul stone for the AMC you previously

unseen hopefully in the movie the soul stone will not be used to simply power a

small one-man turret hopefully this is a dramatic oversimplification of the scene

I think it is but you know they wanted to get another soul stone into this set

without giving us a huge thing that would require hundreds of dollars for

probably a more realistic interpretation of the scene and they give you a three

extras as with each of the sets they come with one of the Infinity stones so

that's a good thing and I think it looks pretty nice head sewn little pedestal

and everything you can use that as a base to hold on to it with a figure you

know so Bruce Banner is the main hero for this set the main hero figure that's

kind of plain I mean he he just by himself is kind of playing I mean this

is I guess accurate enough printing on the back of the torso secondary face

does the trick but yeah just nothing nothing too fancy hey that's a good look

Falcon on the other hand gets his full wing suit which is relatively fancy and

has some articulation you can move each segment of the wing in and out which is

nice to get some kind of flowy appearances to it and has the boosters

on the back I don't think I like his his facial expression there it doesn't look

very confident to me I think is the main thing it's almost like he's like whee

did somebody fart look at that it's like huh do you smell that you know is that

it's just Oh a little bit a bit off character there I think but you know the

suit looks pretty good you know it's not too oversized with the wings and they

have the little detachable red wing segment which is very plain but probably

more accurate in its size than anything they've done before for that the torso

printing I like and that goes for the front and the back yes alternate face is

much better much better indeed here's Proxima midnight the main villain

in this set and I'm just gonna go ahead and say I think this is a fairly poor

rendition of this character I personally was not familiar with this character

before but just looking up what it's supposed to look like in the movie and

misses the mark in many ways I feel like she really needed some some arm printing

or some leg printing the head I think just makes it look too distinct between

the hair being so bright and the the single black color used for most of the

head feel like it needed to have some gunmetal gray coming across the top

coming across the eyes or around the eyes the weapon is probably wrong I

think it's supposed to be like an alien Trident style thing so just a number of

things about this bug me and most mostly it just looks a bit plain to me the

printing for the torso is not bad especially on the back I actually like

the back printing better than the front for some reason though there is a little

bit more here overall yeah I don't find this to be a

particularly well done you know Lego translation of the source material

finally this is an out writer and I really wish they had included at least

two of these in this set because it's always good to have some generic foot

soldiers to take your your big hero figures and and vehicles and

such through you know just to to mow down multiple enemies at the same time I

think the prints on this looked great the torso looks great the head looks

pretty awesome actually this one does again suffer from some

inaccuracies I believe this is supposed to have just four arms from what I've

seen in the trailer so far so fortunately you know having too many

things is a good problem to have because you can just remove it's more difficult

to add things so you just make it into a four-armed villain if you want maybe

there will be some six armed versions of these but not necessarily the best way

to show the forearms set up maybe even a double torso would have worked better

because they are kind of tall but I don't know I still think it's a pretty

cool figure and I actually like it with the six arms as well I think that's good

for play I really like this kind of backpack adapter piece it's really

useful again prints really good it's a shame that they hide all that most of

the time because that's that's another it's another one that designers I think

should be proud of all told I think this is a good Hulkbuster set and that's the

most important thing and once again it's placed at a reasonable price I believe

and I just feel like the minifig selection overall is a bit of a letdown

kind of just the the low side of the set on the whole this is simple you know the

the bad guy billed for the set but it works you know it shoots it has that

deactivation feature and put the figure on that I guess it looks better having

him actually seated rather than standing a little bit of storage around the back

and it does hold on to one of the Infinity stones within a small

inexpensive relatively inexpensive set so I appreciate all that in all I think

that it's a successful set I think that most folks will want to get it for the

main build which is good news that means that most of the value is there and I

like the outright or - I want more of these that's it for my thoughts on this

set though thanks for watching check out the pin comet and I'll talk to

you soon

Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri • TPN's Movie Review - Duration: 4:49.

When I left the theater after seeing Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri I was

struggling mightily to figure out how I felt about it.

I went into Billboards as I have most of the Oscar nominations this year, not having seen

a trailer or read another about it.

The movie is written and directed by Martin McDonagh, who also pulled double duty on Seven

Psychopaths which I didn't see, and In Bruges which I absolutely loved.

Like In Bruges, Three Billboards is a tragic comedy, though with a bit less comedy and

much more of the tragic.

Don't be fooled by the trailers that feature many of the jokes in the movie.

Billboards had me sucking in air at times, not just from some of the violence but often

for the horrible things the characters said to each other that you knew they'd never

be able to take back.

The movie opens seven months after the daughter of McDormand's character Mildred has been

murdered.

The case has gone cold and there have been no arrests so Mildred decides to do the only

thing she can think of.

She rents space on three billboards on an old country road, using them to call out the

Chief, played by Woody Harrelson for his lack of progress on the case.

Three Billboards reminded me of many things while also feeling in total like something

I'd never seen before.

At times the material feels as though it is being yanked in opposite directions.

And I was reminded of the movie Frances McDormand is probably best known for, Fargo - in Three

Billboards wild vacillations between quirky local comedic characters and brutal physical

and emotional violence.

McDonagh doesn't quite manage to make those elements harmonize with the same mastery that

the Coen Brothers do,

but McDonagh's characters also feel more intimately complex to me than most in the Coen's streamlined

style.

I was reminded of the relentless suffocating tragedy of Monster's Ball, but every time

I thought Three Billboards' characters had gone to places from which there was no coming

back, they would stop and have a drink with each other cracking wise.

These characters are people that don't really exist in the real world - their dialogue is

a little too sharp, their actions a little too goofy, their wit a little too uniformly

quick - but each of the central ensemble is reaching for their own meaning in their lives

and their struggles feel achingly painfully familiar.

I was completely swept up.

Mildred is clawing at life for any sign of meaning and order.

Something that could bring sense to her daughters horrifying and senseless death.

I think to say too much about the other character's arcs would verge on spoilers.

Feelings Unsurprisingly, the entire movie, save for

one minor character, is flawlessly acted.

Frances McDormand's performance as Mildred is one I could not look away from - at times

icy and unyielding and others soft and burning with emotion.

She is so good in this movie.

Of the things I've seen her in (which admittedly is not much beyond her Coen Brothers fare)

this is far and away her best performance, and she was already on the shortlist of greatest

actresses working currently.

Sam Rockwell, who plays uneducated sleazeballs so well imbues Dixon with a surprising vulnerability

at times.

For the most part Woody Harrelson plays himself as chief Willoughby, but it works well as

Willoughby seems tailor made for him.

And the Chief has own arc and journey within the story.

And while all three leads have been known at times to take their characters wildly over

the top in other films, none of them do here as it might've risked selling out their

struggles.

And with the exception of the one character I mentioned, the satellites in orbit around

these three are all wonderfully performed.

I wish Peter Dinklage had been more of the movie.

Can we please get him in more lead roles?

Rememory wasn't that great, and The Station Agent was fifteen years ago.

Billboards strikes me as being more driven by its theme than it's story, maybe a little

too much so.

This is a movie that feels at times anti-Hollywood and then it's characters often end up in

perfect convenient places at just the right possible moments.

Still, just when I thought the plot was going to lose itself in comfortable contrivance,

it didn't.

And at times it felt as though the character's were on the verge of descending into existential

madness.

And then they didn't.

I would say the seesaw of comedy and violence, structure and anarchy didn't quite work

for me in the end.

When it was over I felt more dizzy and exhausted than anything else, aware that I'd just

watched something memorable but not quite sure it was for the right reasons.

And maybe that was part of McDonaghs point.

Weeks now after watching it, I still find myself reaching for the movie's meaning,

as his character's were for their own.

Maybe the movies structured sections were saying there is a god, and rage and anger

drives us from it.

Maybe it was was saying there isn't, but our ability to love is entropy's necessary

counterforce.

Or maybe it was none of that.

Either way, I think it says something about the movie that it still makes me want to reach

at all.
