How much should I charge per repair? Well certainly that's a loaded question, every

market is different, whether you're in the US or whether you're in another

country. So the first piece of advice is just to do your research, make some phone

calls, find out what your competition is charging, understand the local insurance

glass deductible involved? Understanding those factors will help you to set your

to pricing. One would be retail work, another would be wholesale work, and the

final would be insurance work. Retail work would generally be cash jobs

directly for a customer. Kind of in a one-off scenario and generally speaking,

the going rate in the u.s. is $65 or more. When it comes to retail work,

especially if it's mobile repairs, that may even go up to $75 to $100 depending

on your area. Again, you want to do your research in your local area. Now

when it comes to wholesale work, we would be talking about say fleet accounts,

dealership accounts, body shops, or car washes. Places that you may do work for and that

provide you consistent volume work, certainly you would offer them a

discount off of those rates. So maybe forty five dollars or even less

depending on the volume of work that they give you. Again, do your local

research, find out what the local fleet accounts are currently paying for repair

and base yourself around that accordingly. Now the next category is

insurance work. Insurance companies set their rates specifically

for windshield repair. So you don't have a whole lot of control over what they

pay for the windshield repair, but generally speaking most insurance

companies will pay between forty five dollars up to about seventy dollars on

the high end for the first repair and then generally they will

pay an additional fifteen to maybe twenty on the high end for a second

repair on the same vehicle. So that's a good rule of thumb to be aware of when

you're doing insurance work and that same rule would

apply. As far as doing second repairs on retail and wholesale work, generally you

would have a second, slightly lower rate, for a second or third repair on the same

windshield. Now again, in regards international markets,

it's important that you research your local area. Do some research,

determine what the the factors are in the area. Is the glass readily available?

Do insurance companies cover the glass?

Are there other windshield repair technicians in the area? If so, what level

of work are they doing? What quality of work are they doing? What are

they charging? And then set your rates accordingly.

How to deal with Trolls and Negativity - Duration: 9:40.

Hey guys, it's Kaylie! I'm doing a really, really impromptu video today because I

wanted to share my thoughts on something that I'm actually struggling with a

little bit and I wanted to keep this open to your opinion on this as well. So

as I'm growing, I am getting a lot more negative comments on things like my

social media, my posts, my ads etc and it's getting to the point where a

few times a week I'm actually having to monitor this because people are actually

writing negative comments and it's just it's nothing of any substance it's just

their opinion but it's really starting to kind of annoy me a

little bit. And it's annoying me for two reasons: It's annoying me because I feel

like I have to spend time monitoring these comments and the second thing is

it's like why do people feel the need to be negative on someone else's work? It

just absolutely blows my mind. So I wanted to talk about these two

things because I know that a lot of people, they do not put themselves out

there in big ways because of this very reason, because of what other people

think about them what other people might say about them. But the thing is as you,

grow and the bigger you grow, and the more brand awareness you get, the more

you open yourself up to this happening to you. So it's happened to me loads of

times before and every single time like, the first time it happened I was like: "Oh

my god, what? Look at this..." I was actually shaking because I was like, what

is this person talking about? They have no idea who I am, they've just seen one

post and then they've decided to completely slew me and they have no

idea what they're talking about. And the first one was really, really hard because

I was thinking about it for ages and I really, really took it personally. And

then, as it happened more and more I started to be like: "Okay another one,

okay another one, okay another one..." and I was thinking, why are people doing

this and what am i doing wrong and that is the first thing that I

really realised that I needed to stop. It's not about me and what I'm

doing wrong it's just about them as a person and the way that they do that. I

mean who has the time to actually go and write negative comments on

people's things especially negative comments that they have no idea what

they're even talking about? So one time I had a meme posted on one of my social

media posts and it was a meme and it said: "I smell bullshit" and it had

this guy dancing, it was supposed to be a joke obviously.

Ha, not funny! When that's part of my marketing strategy and my blood,

sweat and tears and my heart went into that work and my work changes peoples'

lives, so what are you doing, doing that? What what do you get out of

being so negative on someone else's work? If you have an opinion of someone,

why don't you just keep it to yourself? What do you actually get from being

that ridiculously negative to someone? I really just don't get it I don't know,

I'll never get that mindset. Even if I go scrolling on my feed and I see

something I don't really like or whatever, I just keep scrolling I just

ignore it, I don't have time to even waste energy on negative things. And this

is what really gripes me, the fact that people actually sit there and search for

a meme to post on other people's stuff that's derogatory and is offensive and

just has no substance. If these things had substance, I could understand

but the one this morning... So I woke up this morning and I saw a post on one

of my sponsored ads and they were saying something about: "Oh I've seen this,

this is fake this is bullshit this doesn't work..." I'm like huh...?

Have you spoken to any of my clients? Do you even know me? Do you even know my brand?

Do you even know the work that I do? No, you don't obviously. You don't, and that's

what I mean, it has no substance. So every time this happens, you just

have to brush it off somehow, you have to develop that

thick skin. And, you know, sometimes I'm in two

minds. I'm in two minds whether to leave the comments and to respond to the

comments obviously in a really professional manner and just

highlight that I've seen their comment and, I don't know it's like, you don't

even want to try and explain yourself or try and convince someone so I don't

really like to do that and I haven't done that so far I just go and

delete the negativity away from my page because I don't want that negative

energy there and I don't want people who I know that my service can really help

seeing those comments and then being deterred because some idiot has felt the

need to post negativity on my work. So when someone, if you are

someone who goes around and posts negativity on other people's work, think

about what you're doing, why are you doing that, honestly? This video

is almost turning into a bit of a rant but I've seen it happen to myself, I've

seen it happen to some of my clients, even my coach and the

coaching systems that I'm within my master mind, it happens to them as well.

And they always struggle with the question: "What do you do when people post

negativity?" And I totally get why people just don't even bother putting

themselves out there in the first place, because of the people that do this.

And I was looking at Cardi B's Instagram the other day and she said something

about for all... like basically talk about there's so many people that hate

her and she just tries to just ignore it and you know F them basically in

Cardi B's way. And I was thinking, yeah this is why the people that love

her really, rate her because she gets so much hate why are these people hating so

much? Why does she offend people so much that people actually feel the need

to be so horrid to her. And not just talking about her now, but anyone else

if you've ever received a negative comment from someone, one that you know

is definitely not true as well, isn't that the worst? Who are these

people that actually do that to someone else? I've never done that I would

never just go... especially someone's actual work. So if it's a

sponsored post for example, you know that someone has actually put in a lot

of time and effort to create that and they have a great service that can help

someone. So if you don't like it, then just keep scrolling. Why do you need to

be negative? So I'm kind of like struggling a little bit with it because

the more that I grow and the more reach that I get and the more clients that I

have, the more I open myself up to other people's negativity... And it's

one of these things where, because it's a personal brand, everything that I

talk about comes from inside. So it's not just some mumbo jumbo

that's made up. This is my life, this is my experience, this is my journey. And

I struggle with it a little bit because when someone comes and then... It's like

being attacked almost, and the way that I try to deal with it is just remember that

they have no substance. I think that's the only way that you can deal with it. I

mean, what are your thoughts on this? Has this happened to you?

realize the effect of that. And I also think that the people that do that, they

just have far too much time on their hands. They must do, like I don't have

time to go around and be negative on peoples' shit, who has the time to do

that? Every time you do that, you're taking away time from doing something

productive for yourself or someone else. It just blows my mind. But yeah, it's

becoming quite a regular thing and I'm actually becoming so aware of it

and I'm thinking to myself I need to check this regularly to make sure that

my content isn't constantly getting slewed by people that feel they need

to express their hatred towards me. It's really hard to deal with because

if I had done something wrong or something offensive you could

take it a little bit more but I know I haven't. So I think it's

just a case of just forgetting it. Forgetting what they've said and just

moving on and just not internalising it, I think that's a big

thing. And the more that I get, the quicker I am to just brush it

off and not internalise it but I am kind of struggling with it a little bit at

the moment because of the degree of how often it's happening.

And it's because I'm reaching so much more people, therefore I'm reaching so

much more people who aren't gonna like me. So it's like I know everyone's not

gonna like me, everyone's not supposed to like me,

there's gonna be people that don't like me. But for the people that don't

like me and then they feel they need to express that dislike in such a vulgar

way, that's what I'm struggling with. And I will never understand it because that

is not the mindset of a successful person. Who does that? Anyway, I'm

just sharing my thoughts on that, I don't know if you've dealt with this if this has ever

It's Unbelievable How Much This 'Scary' Dog Changed In 8 Months After Being Rescued From The Streets - Duration: 3:32.

They called him Frodo.

Maybe because the shaggy remains of his coat looked a little like the curly hair of Lord

of the Rings character Frodo Baggins.

But for a while, however, the miserable stray doggie was more like the repulsive Gollum

rather than the alter ego of Elijah Wood.

Last May, someone saw a starving pup wandering around in Croatia.

The tiny creature was covered with mange, and his eyes were under attack by infection.

According to some, Frodo looked scary like the devil.

Nonetheless, he needed help and was soon taken to veteran animal rescuer Klaudija Sigurnjak.

"I was stunned," Klaudija told The Dodo.

"I could hardly believe it was really a dog.

I immediately set about rescuing him."

After winning Frodo's trust with food, Sigurnjak gave all the care the puppy needed to start

his life anew.

At first, however, it seemed like an impossible task.

"He was full of fleas and ticks, and starved to the bone.

We were not sure whether or not he'd survive."

But even though nobody could save Frodo's right eye, he proved to be the toughest fighter.

Together with his fur, Frodo has regrown his spirit as well.

"His transformation was phenomenal," Sigurnjak said.

"We never dreamt that he would be so beautiful."

After his amazing recovery, Frodo was put up for adoption, and quickly found his new

family.
