News on Youtube Feb 25 2018

what up YouTube back for another intro to hip hop and I think we can agree this

is a much better looking shot kind of got a few things figured out the camera

we're gonna get right into the music today I'm doing a review of trapa knees

vol 2 you can find this at Machine masters calm I reached out to mg the

future on Twitter or Instagram or one of those that were on and told him I

thought it was real dope I bought it you know I paid the full price for it it's

definitely worth the price of admission and said hey can I do a review on it I

made a nice beat with it and I want to show you all that beat today so we're

gonna get right into that we're gonna move over to the computer do please if

you find value in the channel take a moment to stop like and subscribe I

really appreciate all the subscribers we've been growing over the last few

days it's been a lot of fun we're on our way to you know where we want to be so

thank you so much for watching let's get right into this beat

alright word we've moved over to the computer trying a new angle out seeing

how this looks hope you like it we're going to go through the trappin

ease volume to get real quick just some of what's included because it's quite a

lot like I said is well worth the price of admission you know for 30 bucks I got

15 royalty-free compositions you get all the stems they give them to you in

several different versions so you have like lo-fi regular kind of like what

they call like an underwater version or something like that which is actually

one of the doper ones again the royalty-free really is a big part of it

I've already been through to copyright issues with YouTube since I started this

channel and I've won both of them because I was using royalty-free samples

so there was nothing to discuss it was just here's where I got that sample from

it's public record nobody owns it get off my case and they agreed so within

the kit which I again I purchased and have here you have the originals the

lo-fi the under the stems and you get some bonus drums

and some bonus chops so just to give you an idea of what these sound like I'll

pull up the first one here in the original clean version

definitely some Japanese

and like certainly with this BPM you could go the trap route but with this

Asian vibe you know that all of these have like I start hearing kind of like a

wu-tang thing as well and that could easily chop these up or use the chops

and put them on some like classic hip-hop drums and make more of a like a

classic you know East Coast wu-tang like RZA sound and beat these are more

versatile than just trap but certainly at the 130 BPM you could drop these in

throw some drums on it and start laying down R&B trap

all right so that's an example of some of the originals let's jump into some of

the Loaf I was pretty high and then the underwater these are 140 BPM these are

real don't

I'll be using some of these very soon

all right so let's get into how I made this beat first thing I did was chop up

the sample which was a very basic chop one of the patterns I just let it run

the four bars so no chops at all the second pattern I just gave it a little

you know double tap

so that repeats so we got that going in

like I said I started kind of hearing more like a East Coast vibe than like a

trap vibe but it was forcing me to do something different by being at this BPM

so I like when things are like that it like mixes genres or you know hip-hop

cultures or whatever so I started adding in some drums and I

kept like speeding them up trap style and I finally just killed them and put

these drums in it which I thought really worked well you know which are more like

classic hip-hop drums they're real simple alright so then I added a bass

line

again real simple but that's my favorite kind of baseline and then I found this

cool or I created this little piano part to go with it that I thought added

something to it I always like to add some kind of instrumentation to a sample

so it's not just a sample every once in a while you find a sample where you just

add drums and a bass line and you're done

but anyway I got this piano part and so if we take what we got so far

next added this little piano part that just comes in at the end of each four

bars so when you add that and like that struck me is almost like you know

something you'd find in the East Coast sample be just some some of the scare a

piano part it's like not even up it completely on beat but it works and then

a hard-ass bassline to go with

their baseline

you put it all together

then in the machine

that's gonna do it I wanted to show you guys this awesome Japanese volume - you

know these this is a great way to find inspiration pull up one of these samples

and you got something going already you know I added some drums a bass line

a couple of little piano parts and I got something real nice and original it's

all royalty-free so I own it you know that's a huge benefit shout-out to

machine masters they've been doing incredible work and making great

tutorial videos and showing us how to use things for years I've learned a ton

from them they're you know probably one of the reasons I have the machine and so

it was great getting to review one of their kits I know they got some other

ones that I'm probably gonna take a look at as well so let me know in the

comments if you think there's one that you want to see a review on or that

you're considering buying I'm happy to to go cop that for you and show you what

it's like and you know keep on the lookout men like and subscribe the

channel you know that means a lot to me as I always say I love how the channels

been growing you know just in a few weeks we've added a bunch of subscribers

and I've been getting a bunch of comments from people asking great

questions and it's been a lot of fun responding to those I think I may have

even helped a couple so keep tuning in keep watching the show share it with

your people let's make you pop together

Best MFT Zoom Lens? - Olympus 12-40mm f/2.8 MFT Review - Duration: 5:36.

Micro four thirds users aren't exactly drowning in zoom lens options, but the Olympus twelve

to forty millimeter has some compelling competition, so let's see how it stacks up.

This video is brought to you by the Brave Browser.

Brave is an open source project built from the ground up around privacy and performance.

Plus you can use Brave Payments to support your favorite creators, and only the creators

you want to support.

Check the description for a link with more information.

Before we get into this I want to clarify that we will be comparing the Olympus lens

to Panasonic's similarly specced and priced 12-35mm; however, I don't own a 12-35mm, so

the comparisons will be more spec based than experience based.

In addition, this review isn't going to go into heavily technical details of how the

lens performs optically.

Instead we're going to talk about general features and just day-to-day usability of the lens.

First off I think it's important to talk about why I chose the Olympus 12-40mm.

For about the same price I could've gotten the 12-35mm, which would have given me optical

image stabilization; something very useful on my non-stabilized Lumix G7.

Primarily what the choice came down to was two things; build and reach.

Beginning with the build; the Olympus 12-40mm is an almost entirely metal construction,

which makes it quite durable (although quite heavy as well).

In addition, the lens has weather sealing which protects it from dust, splashes, and

freezing.

On the other hand, the Lumix 12-35 is mostly plastic construction.

That does make it considerably lighter; by about eighty grams, but it also means the

lens is less durable.

Especially since it doesn't have any kind of weather sealing either.

A lot of the shooting I do, especially when I bought the lens, is in the outdoors.

If it starts raining while I'm in the backcountry, I can't just go inside with my camera, it

has to be able to handle the elements to a certain extent.

The metal construction and weather sealing was very important to me.

Of course another nice bonus is that the lens has a slightly longer reach.

Comparing full frame equivalents, the Lumix lens maxes out at seventy millimeters, while

the Olympus goes up to eighty.

That reach is actually really useful for certain shots, and I utilize the full range of the

lens quite frequently.

Another neat feature of the Olympus over the Lumix, although slightly less useful for a

lot of people, is the minimum focusing distance that's about five centimeters closer.

So what advantages does Lumix offer for their lens choice?

The biggest ones I mentioned already; smaller size, lighter weight, and optical image stabilization.

Outside of those points the lenses are pretty much identical in terms of specs, although

OIS is a very big difference between the two.

I'll get more into that later on.

Backing up to the design of the Olympus lens; it works very well.

As I mentioned the lens is quite large and hefty compared to most micro four thirds lenses,

but it's not unwieldy, and it's still very light compared to APS-C or full frame zooms.

The main body of the lens has two rings; one for the focal length and the other for focus.

There's also a function button, but as far as I can tell it only works with Olympus cameras,

so I haven't made use of it at all.

One really neat feature of the lens is that the entire focus ring is a switch.

When pulled down, the focus ring converts to manual focus, even if the camera

is set on autofocus.

That was incredibly annoying when I accidentally flipped it for the first time and thought

my lens's autofocus was broken, but now it's pretty neat.

Due to latency and accuracy problems, I absolutely hate focus by wire.

Using the manual switch on the lens converts it to a fully mechanical focus mode, and also

gives you reference points for focusing, which is absolutely fantastic.

Even better, the autofocus on this lens is fantastic as well.

It's incredibly fast, even in low light, and the autofocus motor is basically silent.

However, all that said, I think it's really important to talk about optical image stabilization.

If you look at some of the videos I've done recently, they haven't been especially smooth.

Probably the most egregious example was my Christmas video, which was shot entirely handheld

on my 12-40mm.

The Lumix G7 doesn't have in-body stabilization, and having a lens that doesn't have stabilization

either means I have to depend on a rig or Warp Stabilizer to get smooth shots handheld.

That isn't the end of the world, but for run and gun shooting it really can have a negative

effect.

If it's any consolation to myself, Panasonic has adopted in body OIS with most of their

new Lumix cameras, so it's almost certain that my next camera upgrade will have OIS

and the lack of it on my Olympus lens won't matter so much.

So, that brings us to conclusion time.

Both the Olympus 12-40mm and Lumix 12-35mm are fantastic lenses, and it's hard to go

wrong with either choice.

That said, for the average filmmaker or photographer I tend to lean towards recommending the 12-35mm.

The optical image stabilization is genuinely a big deal for almost all camera users.

The only reason I'd pick the Olympus over the Lumix is if you need the extra reach of

the lens, you have a camera with in-body stabilization, or like me you need a weather sealed lens.

Anyway that is it for this video.

If you liked this video, if it helped you decide whether or not you want to pick up

an Olympus 12-40mm, a Lumix 12-35mm, or maybe even another lens, hit that like button.

If not, feel free to hit the dislike button.

Justice League #37 Review - Duration: 2:33.

Written by Christopher Priest Penciled by Philippe Briones

As the Justice League takes heat from all angles, we learn about their biggest fan.

He talks about his buddy Diesel who was once saved by the League. Later they saved him

too, and he went on to serve in the military. But today he's kidnapped Simon Baz. Critical

of there being too many lanterns, he's managed to get the ring off Baz's finger.

Meanwhile Jessica gives Batman an earful for sending Baz into danger dressed as Bruce.

While that's going on, Regina Cole appears on the Roland Knox program defending the Justice

League. Back in St Louis, Jessica walks into the bar that Cyborg tracked their latest subject

to. She find a a note and the building explodes - destroying the evidence of his being there

but not before Jess got a snapshot of the crime scene.

At the Fan's apartment, he explains to Baz his goal is to drain his ring to rid the world

of more Lanterns. While on the Watchtower, Simon reflects on his ability to one day lead

the team. He's interrupted by news that the perpetrator has infiltrated their systems

while Flash's assistance hurts more than it helps.

Baz finally overpowers the inhibitor, but as he tries to put the ring back on, realizes

it was never off his finger to begin with. He takes to the air informing the League of

the guy's intentions, while the fan lands on Knox's set dressed as another Green Lantern.

His shot is deflected by Wonder Woman in disguise, later seeing Aquaman, Batman, and Jessica

on set as well. But just as they figure out what's going on, he begins to beam them out.

What will happen next? We'll have to wait for what's next as this issue is left to

be continued. I don't think it's any surprise that I'm

completely enamored with Priest's writing here. For what seems like forever, this book

has been playing it safe... Not being at all edgy and taking no chances. It's no doubt

that it was ripe for some changes and what a change it's been. The Fan is going to

be an interesting foe for this team and I can't wait to see how he wraps it up. I

give this one a 9/10. If you like this video, there's hundreds more

HD 1080P Mini 360° WiFi Hidden Car DVR Dash-Cam review tutorial - Duration: 6:04.

Ebay can be purchased from $ 25

Download DVRunning app on Google Play

This is the recommended app by the camera manufacturer. I tried several others and the other apps do not communicate with the camera

The camera records in the 720P resolution, the vendor describes 1080P in the description. It can be an app, but I can not believe it, it's a disappointment ...

This app is compatible with the camera - it has a few drawbacks. Perhaps another Upgrade version removes these flaws ...

On-line viewing and then leaving the apps with the camera does not automatically switch to recording mode, you need to watch the REC button.

I appreciate the app well, it is not complicated to control, very clear, not available, general settings available in Czech ...

The date and time are active automatically

I evaluate the camera with a total mark of 3. - camera look 1 - camera function 2 - camera application 2 - camera recording 3 - Unfortunately, the resolution of the camera was disappointing, the vendor featured the 1080P resolution, in fact the camera is recording at 720P resolution.

CONTINUOUS Verb forms (Great review of Continuous Tenses) - Duration: 9:44.

hello welcome back - I'm Marc nice to see you

I've been trying to make an interesting lesson we're staying with my brother

while our house is being repainted Jessica called me while I was having

dinner last night - Toronto will be getting larger in the coming years

Rome is having an urban change - Everyone seems to be studying for an English exam

these days - in this lesson we're going to take a look at continuous verb forms so

stay tuned

so by now you know generally speaking that continuous tenses are those actions

that are happening around the moment of speaking or at the moment of speaking

they actually emphasize the action itself these tenses are present

continuous past continuous present perfect continuous past perfect

continuous future continuous and the passive forms yeah I understand why

you're looking so confused don't worry if you want to review those tenses you may

click here - in order to make the lesson simple I've divided the usage in six

groups so let's take a look at them the first group to describe actions

happening over a period of time and this is what we usually use it for right the

continuous tenses I mean - so let's take a look at my first introductory example

I've been trying to make an interesting lesson so what tense is this yes this is

the present perfect continuous I've been trying to make an interesting lesson so

we know that present perfect continuous is an action that started some somewhere

in the past we don't care exactly when and continues up to now I've been

trying to make an interesting lesson so that means that sometime in the past I

started ok trying to make an interesting lesson and I continue up to the moment

of speaking - let's just take a look at my second example I see you're learning

English yes right now I see I understand in this case it means I see I understand

you're learning English yes you're learning English that means that is

something that you're doing at the moment of speaking you're learning

English around the moment of speaking at the moment of speaking over a period of

time that's right let's take a look at the second usage when an action

is temporary we're staying with my brother while our house is being painted

now pay close attention here because we have two continuous forms so we're

staying with my brother in this period so it's temporary

in this period I'm staying with my brother so I'm staying in this period

continuous forms while our house is being painted okay so what is this what

tense is this yes is the passive what type of passive is the present

continuous passive why I say that because is being painted is in the

process of being painted right so is plus the ING form is being and then

painted somebody else does it right so is being painted for a passive sentence

we don't care who is doing the action if you want to watch a lesson on passives

you may click here however is being painted so my house is being painted I

don't care who is doing it let's take a look at my second example he was surfing

the net while waiting for a call what happens here we have a tense which tense

is this it's the past continuous but look at this verb he was surfing the net

while waiting for a call what tense is that it's past continuous why because

it's the same as saying he was surfing the net while he was waiting for a call

we don't need to repeat the subject and the auxiliary of the original sentence

so he was surfing the net while he was waiting we don't need it

waiting for a call it's the same thing the third usage talks about

happening around a point of time and my example was Jessica called me while I

was having dinner last night so Jessica what tense is this past

simple yes Jessica called because I know when she called me while

and then an action that it was happening around that time and so around the point

of time I was having dinner last night that last night is the point of

reference of the past simple right so Jessica called me while I was

having dinner last night let's take a look at another example at two o'clock

Sue was still waiting for the bus to arrive what tense is this yes past

continuous again and still is what is an adverb of time yes

Sue was still waiting for the bus to arrive so we have the time the point of

time or around the point of time Sue was still waiting for the bus to arrive so

she was sitting maybe she was reading and she was waiting for the bus to

arrive let's take a look at that fourth usage when you want to specify a change

or development so Toronto will be getting larger in the coming years so we have

what turns here yes future continuous Toronto Toronto will be

getting larger in the coming years so will be look at be the verb to be plus

ing will be getting larger in the coming years so will become larger in the

coming year so it is going to change and it's going to develop and become larger

or my son is becoming more and more intelligent - so it's a change here we

specify a change and because he's becoming more and more intelligent and

we used the present continuous so for the fifth usage I wrote when an action

is incomplete like in my example Rome is having an

urban change so something is changing and is incomplete right but it will

change for sure so Rome is having an urban change is having is the present

continuous that's right is having an urban change let's take a look at

another example you were watching my lesson before your mother walked in the

room and you couldn't finish watching the lesson right so what tense is this

past continuous that's right you were watching my lesson before your mother

walked in the room so you couldn't finish watching the lesson and it's

incomplete now I'm going to erase this and we're going to look at the sixth

usage so stay tuned for the last usage we use the form BE plus ING to give

emphasis to an action in progress at a specific time

just like my example everyone seems to be studying BE+ ing seemed to be studiying

for an English exam these days so I give emphasis to this fact that everyone

seemed to be studying for an English exam these days be careful not to

confuse state and action verbs sometimes though they can be both state and action

verbs like in my example the verb to have I have a white car I possess I own

a white car versus I was having a shower when you called

well in this case have takes part of an expression to have a shower or to take a

shower if you want to watch a lesson on static or dynamic verbs you can click

here so that's it for today thank you very much for watching if you have any

comments or if you want to type your own example you may do so under this video

if you haven't subscribed to my channel please do so if you want to share the

lesson go ahead having said that see you next week with

a new English lesson and remember everything we hear is an opinion

and it doesn't mean is a fact - bye-bye

There are professional websites, you say, where you can see about a particular machine

I agree with you, but usually such professional reviews

Secondly, the review still, I think, will be more interesting, who are going to come here and

I will be very grateful if someone will give efficient Tips in the comments!

About what I missed and what I need to focus on

I went there for two weeks. What can I do about it tell ...

Here is the most interesting! It really is, guys, mess! and so that we

here we have. We here have a bunch of cards Tenerife Islands all who arrive

In Tenerife, during the to the airport get these free

There is also such an organizer of leather with untouched documentation on the car

Warranty coupons, service book,

Well, that's what I wanted to say

so the car.

The car is interesting, for Tenerife is convenient

Turns included good enough

Stable

The engine is a little weak, of course - for Honda Civic I did not keep up

the parking plan is certainly not Smart. It is convenient to park thanks to your

small size is also stable with side strong wind

on the track comfortable seats I did not feel any discomfort during my trips

on mountains and serpentines it goes normally, but I would certainly like a more powerful engine

well, all bye

next-level t-shirt we have a 50/50 blend in Bella canvas and a 100% polyester

sport texture we have our screen all set up on press and what we're going to use

is a print that we've done before to do Shannon the shop gnomes apron I washed

out all the ink from the screen use a little bit of screen opener to clear

open the mesh I think we're good to go so here's our artwork here is the

company that provided the sample it is one stroke Christy Morgan got ahold of

me apparently they're a family-owned business which i think is great this is

an all-in-one ink it is there in P dry fit white but he said it is meant for an

all-in-one ink for cotton 50/50 mix and polyester here is our technical data

sheet we are using a 156 mesh and we're going to cure it at about 330 degrees

she says that you can kind of overheat this one and won't

an issue so let's give it a try okay gang so we have our little ink spatula

and here is the ink the NP dry fit white all I did was break the seal the little

tape that they had on it my first initial reactions are it looks pretty

creamy here's a matter little spatulas I reach over the camera which barely fits

into this little sample container but I mean that is excuse me I got low off

camera there but I mean that is super creamy I mean very very very creamy so

we're going to go ahead and load some of this up on press I'm just kind of mixing

it up a little bit just to kind of loosen the inka and I will say that this

is probably the previous ink I have ever worked with I mean this is super creamy

guys it is almost like working with cool whip

so I'm going to set this aside okay gang I've got a little bit more of

an over-the-shoulder kind of view got my squeeze you ready to go I'm going to put

down a little spray tack and my flash is over there to the side by now you guys

hopefully know what a flash is and we're going to just go ahead and load this

shirt up you use my lint roller just to give this a fair shot now I do believe

this meshing though the instructions say a 1:58 as your your highest count I

believe that this may be 195 so if it works with the 195 then I'm sold up me

knows I might just buy a gallon of this stuff so we just went ahead and flooded

it and by the way we do have about it's probably about an eighth of an inch

contact also contact excuse me and there's our first hit looks pretty good

the color of this white is pretty white I don't see too much of a tint to it so

there's our first hit I'm going to go ahead and send it over to the flash and

I'm going to let this flash for about eight to ten seconds I'm going to bring

it around my hands are a little dirty from messing with these screens but I'm

just gonna flash it until it is tacky we use a hand that's a little cleaner

looks like it needs a flash a little more my flash is that full tip my

pallets aren't warmed up so it's taking a little longer to flash off okay

hopefully I don't get it alright I think we are good to go

let's go ahead and hit this with the second print stroke I'm doing a lighter

stroke here just making sure I clear the mesh

it looks pretty good looks pretty nice I'm going to go ahead and take this off

and throw it into the conveyor dryer so here we go here is our first print

because it is a 195 mesh and not a lower mesh count like a 110 or 156 which is

for me this is a bright enough white but looks pretty nice alright let's move on

to the 50-50 blend seems like it's still tacky enough we have our Bella canvas

50/50 blend give it a little bit of a lint roll make sure we give these guys a

good fighting chance right and also something that's kind of occurred to me

because that was my first print that the ink really isn't quite flowing through

the mesh just well enough and let me try increasing my squeegee pressure so that

way it's a little more upright or angle excuse me not pressure

there we go there's our first hit looks like any first hit when it comes to

white using a mess count like we are so I sent this over we're flashing it real

quick now that my palette is nice and warmed up it did take the usual time

about eight seconds so that's pretty good that's great to know

I'm just gonna kind of share this one off a little more make sure we

completely clear our mesh and it looks pretty awesome I'm going to go ahead and

toss it on the conveyor dryer I'm gonna go ahead and wipe the bottom the screen

I did notice with the second print that I'm starting to lose a little bit of my

details it's kind of a antique type look that we have going on here and because

it is really creamy some of those details were starting to close up just a

little bit but for polyester use I think this still works fantastic

perhaps I just need to reduce my squeegee pressure so here is our second

print on the 50/50 still looks like a nice bright white but you guys can

probably see that some of these little details are starting to close up which

is why I have it on a 195 mess to begin with but hey I might be hitting it too

much and flooding the print out so okay and for the test that everybody's

probably been waiting on the 100% polyester we have our 100% sport tech so

st 350 t-shirt

going to load it up on the power

we have to excuse the screaming kids in the background I kind of think it's

hilarious no you guys are trying to learn this is a product review okay I'm

just go ahead and hit it I wipe my screen just kind of get my

detail back I'm going to give it a little bit lighter pressure we'll see

how it works

oh that looks great that's just with one hit all my details are there I didn't

have to press too hard and that looks that looks pretty great I'll give you a

close-up of it here in a second so here we are again a little bit of a

close-up of the first hit I just flooded it once

kind of looking over it I might need to the pass on it again just to fill some

of the nits here but it looks great alright I'm gonna go back and clear my

previous stroke so just hit it once okay that looks great

cleared nicely filled now I'm going to flash it okay we're all nice and flash

make sure I'm still in view here okay look pretty good nothing's coming up

it's still nice and decking let's go ahead and do our second hit

Wow okay that looks really great I'm gonna bring this in for a little bit of

a close-up okay here's our second print on press keep in mind that this is with

a 195 mesh and it looks really great it is a nice bright white the detail held

up this time kind of adjusted how was going about praying this Eve because I'm

used to really thick stuff I don't know I think I might be sold guys this is get

excuse me I'm trying to get the exposure just right but this is I don't know I'm

happy with it I think I might switch over I'm going to go ahead and take this

off of the pallet and run it through the conveyor dryer got my temp gun I'm gonna

show you what temperature I have this coming hot at just like we're at well I

probably could have sped that up a little bit but man it's 402 coming out

need to turn my temp down so it is curing a little higher than I wanted to

I know I might have to do a separate test and get my temperature just right

maybe nuts let's let it stand how about that Wow

it has a nice soft hand film which I kind of would you know with polyester

printing on 100% polyester you generally get a flatter print and this looks

absolutely great Phil's grade the ink build up isn't too thick perhaps it's

because of the 195 mess that I was using and it looks

like it didn't change color who knows maybe tomorrow I'll come back

and take a look at it see what it still looks like let's see how it does when I

try and stretch it a little bit yeah that looks great

we are with that stretched out it's not cracking or anything like that which I

really wasn't expecting a tooth it's supposed to do what it's supposed to do

dance I definitely cured the shadow that's for

sure I'm going to go ahead and run off a second print of the cotton just because

I feel like maybe I didn't give it that great of a chance with it being the

first print I'm gonna run another one off and I'll show you how it comes out

so here are the final results and my thoughts this is the second print that I

just did on the 100% cotton shirt again I'm using 195 mesh perhaps if I had to

use the 156 or even a 110 they would be even brighter but oh not too bad here

was our our first print not too bright of a white perhaps it is because the ink

wasn't quite flowing through like I should because it was our first prep get

these guys out wait here is our 50/50 t-shirt

looks fairly bright again could be my match selection

and last but not least the one I'm most curious about and this looks great

hundred percent polyester sport Tech t-shirt nice bright white it has a nice

hand to it I don't know guys I'm thinking I may switch over to their poly

ink pretty easy to work with pretty creamy

Shannon the meatloaf I mean come check out these print samples let me know what

you think too although she's not going to get on camera

give her opinions I'll report back Shannon the shop tone kind of approves

so that's it guys I'm impressed with how creamy it is and how well it worked on

the polyester jury's still out for myself when it comes to using it on my

cotton shirts but who knows let us know what you guys think leave a comment

Awei A831BL Bluetooth Full Review *IS THIS ACTUALLY GOOD?* - Duration: 4:36.

what's going on everybody this is tech Jonas back with another video our

video is all about a Bluetooth headset today so this is the real headset I'm

gonna review this so without further ado let's jump right into the video okay now

this is the this is something called the awei a831bl this is a wireless

obviously it's wireless it's a bluetooth headset so we're gonna review this it's

not an unboxing so we're gonna review this let's see what's around the box

real quick this I might show you that this one is the what's they call this is

called the tyrant gold color this is the main color of this thing okay it has

also the silver where I do not have the whoa they call it a gun color okay okay

that's good so what's the deal what's the main thing

about this thing this is well obviously it's a bluetooth headphone I mean

headset so this is a one ear design this is the real thing here this is the out

of the box thing I've been using it for a while actually my friend has

besides all that let me talk to you about the you know the specification first it's

supposed a Bluetooth 4.0 and awei claims you know it has a 180 hours of

stand up time but I'm not sure about that standby time yeah I get that it's a

bluetooth headset but 180 hours that that's a long time let's see what's here

what's around the box real quick so it has bluetooth 4.0 okay

it supports HD sound considering the style of this I mean

you know you know what I mean this is the one ear design you know it's

not the two ear kind of Bluetooth headset it's just for one ear use you

can use it in office and maybe listen to some music if you don't care about the

quality I'll talk to you later but let me cover the specifications first it has

a decent noise cancellation it's not do not think that it is an active noise

cancellation it does not have an active noise cancellation it but it does have a

noise cancellation it says wind noise reduction oh it's not awei claims it's

a nice reduction but do not first this noise reduction of awei claims okay

awei says that you can get up to seven hours of a battery time

you know music playtime or talk time you know on this thing but I'm not sure you

can get up to on my personal use and my friends use you can get up to like five

or five or six six maximum considering of its size it's very good and this

thing charge needs to charge like for one and a half hour that's it that's the

average point okay another thing that I want to mention about this thing is I do

not like the voice control there is an LED indicator for you know to understand

if it's on or off the charging port and this is the multifunction button you get

your ear for you know microphone here it's not that bad but it's not that good

okay volume control is this one this little got this little button you know

you get just only three voice control systems you know it's like low medium or

high that's that's all get but the main thing about this the reason you know I'm

reviewing a Bluetooth a headset so the question is how does it sound if you're

looking for bass you know you're kind of a music kinda dude you know you

listen to audio files and all of the things do not get a bluetooth like this don't

don't do that maybe you're going somewhere and you're just you need to

talk to someone it's kind of a business purpose you know maybe you're talking

with someone and this is just one ear it's easy and convenient but the audio

quality it's not the greatest one out there do not expect any kind of bass the

high end is actually pretty good in this but I would not trust the low-end it is

not good at handling low ends okay so the sound quality of this thing is not

bad but do not expect any kind of bass you know low end is not that great but

the high end you know you can expect some good listening to it you know it's

a comfortable fit and it has this you know ear hang which is a pretty

comfortable and you get all these you know different sizes of ear cups what

the core is it's it is core is it core your cups I'm not sure all right I'm

gonna wrap up the video right here thank you guys for watching give it a thumbs

up if you liked the video subscribe to my channel obviously I will be reviewing

more text and okay stay tuned for more videos like this

I'm gonna be seeing you in the next video peace

Giorgio Armani Si Passione Review - Duration: 5:44.

Have you said yes to Si yet? Well stay with me while I review the latest

fragrance from Giorgio Armani the new Si Passione. Hi welcome to Ellie smells and

today I'm going to be reviewing the latest fragrance from Giorgio Armani,

which is the Si Passione. Si in Italian means yes and passione is for

passion , as you see from the bottle it's a lovely lacquered red and the red

colour is actually from his lipstick, which is the 400 red which was created

to suit every woman's skin tone. So it's in the same chunky style as the original

bottle but that's really where it ends. This fragrance is classed as a fruity

floral and I'm going to spray it now. I have tried it and several of the girls

at work have tried it and absolutely love it. So I think Mr. Armani wanted to

create something that made women feel really confident, sexy, successful but

still keeping that femininity and that grace, which i think is why Cate

Blanchett is such a good model for this particular fragrance, and i do know that

she's worn a lot of his Couture items as well. So when you first spray this it's

quite sweet and that's because in the top notes you've got a syrupy liqueur de

cassis which is blackcurrant, and then you've got a lovely luscious pear but

then you get a kick of something, and I think that's because you've got

pink pepper in the top notes, but still the fragrance is really really

feminine. I think that's because in your heart notes of this particular

fragrance you've got May rose Absolute ,with red rose

and then you have Heliotrope, which is quite an addictive powdery essence

then it's kept really feminine with jasmine also added in there .So you've

got something that's very sweet feminine and addictive so far, then the base

notes which make it last on the skin, which give it the depth and

personality, you've got cedar wood, patchouli and then

you've got that real sweetness, which just seems to pull everything together

of the vanilla. I can imagine that it's going to project really well, it's

going to last on the skin, it's going to give you that lovely wonderful subtle

waft rather than something that's very overpowering. So I think this is

definitely one which you could wear at any time of the year, any time of the day.

It's like that Swipe of red lipstick that just makes you feel really really

confident and secure and sort of like passionate. So I think that's definitely

one to sort of like go and try, especially if you're a lover of the

original Si which was first created in 2013. By the way, the nose that created these

particular fragrances is Julie Masse, who actually worked along with Christine

Nagel on the original one. So the original Si is a chyphre

fragrance, which was created by Giorgio Armani because I believe a family member

used to wear a chyphre fragrance, but this is his sort of like real modern twist on

updating it. So again, this one has the Liqueur de Cassis, the black currant in it,

vanilla and then it has like a musky oak mossy bass note to it. So these are

really popular fragrances and that one is just a beautiful update. So with

Mother's Day around the corner, why not go and try this out for yourself or

maybe for that special lady, especially if you like the fragrances such as the

original Si, the Paco Rabanne Olympia and Yves Saint Laurant black opium, the Poison

Girl or any of the other soft vanilla fragrances, some of the Tom Ford's like

the Velvet Orchid and even fragrances which contain something like the

rose and jasmine, such as the Mademoiselle and also the Miss Dior Cherie

which was also, well it's now actually just Miss Dior EDP, they have dropped the

Cherie, but that was also created by Christine Nagel as well. So put that

red lipstick on, go into store and as you will see from the graphics here, I think

they are going to be bringing out a gift with purchase initially here in the UK.

Which is going to be a lovely little a cosmetic bag as well as a small

fragrance of the Si itself. So go and try, definitely one to watch. I'm just

gonna have a cheeky spray I really like this one. My favourite of all of the

Si,s, they brought out a limited edition at Christmas which was called the

Si Nacre, which when you actually sprayed it on you, gave you like a really

lovely glittery, pearlescent sort of Sheen to your clothes and around your

neck. But really ladies, always remember unlike me, don't put your

fragrance on top of your jewellery, spray your fragrance first, but anyway

that's it from me today, go and try this, let me know your

comments. let me know what you think, whether you prefer the original C or if

you loving this one? And don't forget to Like and subscribe and ring the bell to

get all the alerts on the new ones that we've got coming up. So take care for now

and enjoy your day. See you soon on Ellie Smells. Bye for now.

[ENG SUB] SiR - November | Album Review - Duration: 3:17.

Hi, my name is Jake and today I'm gonna review SiR's newest album "November".

Just in case: If you're not familiar with SiR, he's basically the newest TDE artist. Top Dawg Entertainment is a major rap label with artists like Kendrick Lamar or ScHoolboy Q.

The first try to establish a name in the R'n'B label was when SZA released her "Ctrl" album last year. She got nominated for 5 Grammys, including "Best Newcomer of the Year" (get your shit together grammys, she's not a newcomer)

I'm not a big SZA fan but I can still understand the hype behind the project and the artist.

Because of that I can get why they signed SiR.

But I doubt that this is going to have similar success.

This album has a very odd concept.

I'm not really happy with the story behind "November".

There's this female robot who's driving with him to his destination. She always tells him how far away they currently are. That's pretty much it.

There is no amazing story behind it. I could've needed a few more details about what he's doing.

I also question if he was inspired by "Black Mirror".

Let's get to the most important topic: the music.

I have to be honest: "November" doesn't impress me at all.

I wouldn't really say there are bad songs on here except for the 6th track. It's called "I Know" and it's terrible. He straight up sounds like Pink Guy on here and I think it really shouldn't exist on the project.

The first half is pretty short compared to the second one. That was probably the right decision.

I also noticed that the second half wasn't special at all except the outro "Summer in November". That song is fucking fantastic. It probably saved the score for this review.

I also really enjoyed "Something Foreign (feat. ScHoolboy Q)" and D'Evils.

Well, I can't report much about a album which has nothing mildly interesting going on.

I'm gonna give "November" by SiR a 5/10. Bye!

Tarte Amazonian Clay Foundation | Amazonian clay 12-hour foundation SPF 15 | Review - Duration: 12:34.

Hi this review is about it the Tarte Amazonian Clay Foundation my name is Melissa Van Dijk

and I'm a professional makeup artist and don't forget to hit the

subscribe button underneath and it also depends on where you're watching nits in

any corner right here thank you so much for supporting me and now without

further ado let's get right into this video this is what the packaging looks

like and it's a full coverage foundation it will last you 12 hours that's what it

says on the packaging and then when you turn it around it also tells you what's

inside the main points and because it's a clay foundation it's beautiful for

oily skin and when you open up the packaging then you will get the actual

foundation and it comes in a tube and I'm in fair light honey you can get in

total 24 different shades and one tube will cost you 39 US dollars and now I'm

going to show you how the application is the Amazonian clay foundation from

Tarte is my second tube and the first one I got I ordered it online and it was too

light so I mixed it with in other ones that I can apply it to my face

and this wasn't well the first one was from Tarte and the second one which I

used to darken it a little bit was from makeup studio so it wasn't really fair

to see if this works for me or not and now I'm going to use this one on its own

and we will see if this shade will match with my skin tone on that I just hope

that it will match because if you're ordering a foundation online matching

it with your actual skin tone can be so difficult so if I know that this one is

the perfect one for me I know for the next time what I will order if this one

is too dark for me I'm just going to pick the one in the middle so that I'm

sure that I'm well not going to pick the wrong one so now I'm going to apply it

with a damp Beauty Blender and I'm going to apply it also on the mixing palette

and I'm just dabbing it onto the skin

so just pray that this will work for me and if not I'm sorry if it's the wrong

shade but I still have my opinion about the foundation so I'm just hoping that

this will match but let's see

and it doesn't look that bad because if I'm using a shade which is quite neutral

if it has a pink undertone and also a yellow undertone it still looks a little

bit pale on me so that's why I chose one with the peachy undertone so that you

can also get some warmth to my face but it doesn't look that bad I'm not sure

how it will look on the camera but when I'm looking down in the mirror then it

doesn't look that bad and it also matches with the skin tone so just

because I have some red places right here because of the pimples and also my

cheeks doesn't mean that I have a pink undertone so this can be sometimes so

tricky if you're trying to find a shade for you and you think oh well you have

such a pink undertone just because you're getting red and because it knows

or your cheeks are red doesn't mean that you have a pinkish undertone so this can

be so confusing I'm just pointing this out because

sometimes you think you have a pink undertone and it and you don't have a

pink undertone so now I'm just having a look at the camera and I will be right

back so it just had a look at the camera and it doesn't look at that and I'm so

thankful that this matches with my skin tone because the other one was too a

light and that's what I why I thought I should buy this one but it's so

difficult on their website to find out what shade you should get because you

can match your shade but then you need to know what skin undertone you have and

also what skin type you have and also like so many different informations you

need to know from yourself to get the perfect match but I can imagine that

most of the people who are just trying this one as a like as a normal

foundation and also for the first time it can be so difficult so if you have a

similar skin tone than I have I'm in light honey and it works so just that

you know if you're lighter than me then go a few shades lighter

and also have a look at it what it says on the foundation sometimes it tells you

if it has a yellow undertone and neutral and a turn or pinkish undertone and this

one it says it has a peachy undertone which is a little bit more yellow or

orangy and this works beautifully and now I'm just going to finish off the

application of the foundation so now I'm done with the application of my

foundation and I really love the shade I love also the

foundation itself and I haven't applied anything just the foundation on its own

and as you can see the coverage is pretty good I'm so happy with the end

result but still you can see my pimples right here because of the redness but it

cancel out it has a little bit but to get rid of my pimples completely so that

they aren't visible anymore I just need to use a concealer and just spot

concealer on them which I'm going to do later on and then I'm also going to use

the Tarte shape tape concealer under my eyes to brighten it up and then we will

see how the products are layering on top so I'm just going to finish off my

makeup a little bit and just keep it very simple so that you still can see

the foundation but I just like to set it with powder but for the moment I have no

dry patches I'm really happy it feels comfortable it feels lightweight

sorry it feels lightweight and I'm so happy with the end result so let's see

how other products will work with it so to spot conceal the pimples I'm going

to use the Maybelline concealer with a little sponge on top and this isn't in a

yellowish tone which I don't mind but I just like to cancel out the redness on

my pimples and you can also use a brush for that but I just like to apply it

like it and then use the beauty blender to blend it into the skin and then later

on I'm going to apply some powder on top so that it will

set the foundation and also to concealer so let's see well right here I have also one

but this is just a difficult place to get some concealer to stay without

creasing but I'm really happy with the foundation because it hasn't creased

around my eyes normally I'm getting it underneath my eye which is normal

because of this kind of crease like right here so when I'm doing this you

can see that it creases already and normally I'm using directly some

translucent powder on top so that it won't crease but you always can blend it

with the Beauty Blender or with your brush and then you can apply some

translucent powder on top so now I'm going to use the Tarte shape type

concealer for underneath my eyes and then I like to use some powder to set

everything

like this I'm just blending it in with a Beauty Blender and with the shape tape

concealer I'm not using a lot because I just feel that a little bit goes a long

way so I'm not a fan of doing this triangle thing and also highlighting in

the middle of my face I mean I'm always using 90% I'm using a

foundation that matches my skin tone so I don't really see why I should use so

much highlighter in the middle of my face if I want to keep it natural

and now I'm going to use some translucent powder and a big fluffy

brush and also a medium fluffy brush now I'm going to set at first one on the eye

area with a medium fluffy brush and I like to use to be different at first

because it creases quite a lot right here but this isn't a surprise because

it happens with every foundation which I have already used because of

this crease right here and I can't avoid it

besides of just cutting away that crease but that's not really natural so I'm

just going to take the brush and I like to dip it in some translucent powder and

to set it so that it won't crease anymore and if you can see that there

are areas which are creasing before you have applied any powder then always take

a Beauty Blender and just blend it back into the skin and then you can get the

fresh and clean canvas and then you can apply some translucent powder on top and

it won't crease anymore

so for example right here you can see that it can create a little bit because

of my eye movement and if I'm you if I'm not using a beauty blender on top to

blend it back into the skin it will give me some wine so if I'm applying some

eyeshadow powder on top I still will get some lines on top so that's why I

personally do not like to just apply some translucent powder without blending

it back into the skin

and then I like to use a big fluffy brush for the rest of my face

so now I'm going to take this big fluffy brush dipping it in some translucent

powder and then just press it onto the skin

and since this foundation is an Amazonian clay foundation

I mean clay is beautiful if you have an oily skin it's just will control the oil

and it also will absorb the oil which is great and I have a combination skin and

I have no problems with this foundation so I have used already the first bottle

but I'm still happy with the end result and it is also long-lasting so I

never had a problem touching up my foundation or something like that so I'm

really happy and I am loving this foundation

and also my neck since I have applied a little bit of foundation down towards my

neck so that there isn't any harsh line around my jawline like this and now I

have also set the foundation so this is not the end result when I have set it

with some translucent powder but you also could use some setting spray

because it's a mattifying foundation so the consistency of this foundation is a

little bit different to others because it has no oil in it and it has some clay

in it it's more like a drying consistency so it's also a thick

foundation but if you're using an oil-based foundation for example it's a

little bit more liquid ish and that's why I love about the foundation it's not

a liquid ish and it also will stick to your skin and it also melts in with the

skin beautifully if you're going to use a brush or Beauty Blender I love this

foundation I would recommend this foundation but I wouldn't recommend this

foundation if you have a dry skin type because if you have a dry skin type then

this can give you even more like dry patches around your face and you don't

want that but if you have a normal combination or oily skin then this is

perfect it gives you also a matte finish so you won't shine during the day and

because I have set it with some translucent powder on top it definitely

won't shine and it will last you all day long because I use it quite a lot so

that's my final thought about it I would recommend it and I also would rebuy it

again so this was now the review on the Tarte

Amazonian clay foundation and before you're leaving this video have a look at

this video right here which is applying makeup for beginners so if you are new

to the makeup world have fun with it and here in the top corner you can subscribe

to my channel thank you so much for supporting me and I will see you soon

LEGO Avengers Infinity War Sanctum Sanctorum Showdown review! 76108 - Duration: 21:00.

hello everyone this is the Lego Marvel superheroes sanctum sanctorum showdown

set and set itself may contain some spoilers for the infinity war movie so

if you don't want any spoilers for that movie be sure to not watch videos like

this that are about infinity war stuff also please be sure to check out the

pinned comment on the video before you comment yourself now the building I

would say is almost as nice as it looks at first glance this was given a lot of

care in its design almost on the level of the creator expert modular building

it's got a new print for the window up there and a lot of texture and detail

and changes of subtle colors so it looks pretty realistic with just a very modest

number of stickers that are used I think just where they're needed only the left

half of the building is dedicated to the sanctum sanctorum itself with this right

half representing the building where Peter Parker has his apartment and that

is situated above peppe's pizza with the very lego of fide sticker and branding

there's also a little bit of side street or alleyway here with a few references

built into that with the help of the stickers and you get a number of web

elements with a combination of stickers and physical items and I need to show

you how some of those actually work with action features for example this web up

here can be grabbed onto by a figure and then pulled down which causes the window

at the front to break out and you can knock a bad guy off that way this

doesn't really qualify as an action feature per se but you can bring the

second fire escape ladder down and this is one of the better-looking and better

working fire escapes I think that Lego is put onto a building because it's

pretty simple to actually just place a figure there without even having them

set up to perfectly they don't get attached to anything but they give you

plenty of space to put a figure there you can also attach hands to these bars

really easily it looks good and I think it works well for play this one's pretty

clever and useful I think you can place a figure just right here and there's a

button that you can push from behind on the roof that will push that figure off

and then he's attached on the web there and that web can let him down they

actually integrated this winch system for this string into the water tower up

there so the water tower is where the web gets connected and you can actually

pull your figure back up if you want to show them kind of climbing and does take

a second to do that because you need to turn it quite a bit but it's it's nicely

integrated you can just leave off that web piece if you want and if you just

let go it kind of lets him down slowly which is fun to watch down at the ground

level there's also a second window that can be blown out by just pushing in

another one of these buttons just push that straight and out it pops here's the

thing that's not so great about this set though it's the depth it's very thin as

viewed from the side I mean it's you know pretty impressive from here and

it's the full length of an entire baseplate plus just a little bit if you

include the corner bit but from the side I mean you mostly have just a six stud

with including the front fascia and the wall there so not that much real

substance to it behind however they did make the best use I feel that they

possibly could of that room and you can put figures into pretty much every one

of these individual rooms and spaces here starting again on the sanctum

sanctorum side this is the lobby the ground-floor entrance with us ticker

with a scroll on the wall over there and just a couple of weapons I like that

little little classic seat there because it's built with a kind of preformed Lego

chair piece in its base and then they do brick building around that for a little

bit of a hybrid thing there's the second floor up above and this actually has an

action feature built into the bookcase there is a little bit of a hiding space

more weapons chests that can be opened that has even more weapons still with a

couple more daggers or fighting knives there I like the selection of stickers

throughout this set they're really well done I think and appropriate and

tasteful I'm actually going to come back to the action feature for the bookcase

I'll get to that later and here's the topmost room with a couple more

bookcases on the sides got a skull there it looks like

they don't have the brand-new candle mold available just yet or they surely

would have used that but given the amount of space that is here I think

that they did a good job of kind of getting the feel of the place and still

leaving some open studded area on the floor again to put some figures in there

there's not much room on the roof of the sanctum sanctorum to pose figures but

you can put them on there just one foot at a time so you can have a little bit

of a confrontation like that or you can have them facing outward toward you for

the sake of display you know out towards the street or in either direction so

it's it's good enough but I personally prefer to have more space like they have

here over Peter Parker's apartment that's much better the watertower build

is a little bit flimsy and how it's attached given just how it's it's kind

of extended up from the base and has the frictionless pin connections there but

like I said the windlass function does work really nice for play with the the

windup long string that's done in white there with the studs at either end and

then down below we get to the interior of the in part of the apartment I think

this is the first time they've done a bed exactly like this using the new 2x3

tiles so you get a three stud wide bed which gives you a little more usable

space and having no studs on there means that it's easier to just place a figure

there there's a look at the sticker with some things attached to Peter Parker's

wall and there's actually an action feature in this open space with a

trapdoor there and there's a knob on the front of the building that you just pull

out and then that will fall through here's the room below with a couple

cardboard boxes only the top one has a sticker on it I think this is the first

time Lego has tried to make one of those old Macs in one of its sets I might be

mistaken on that but the sticker looks really good there for the screen and a

kind of all-in-one encasement but I don't like the build as viewed from the

side you know it's just completely open and then it also overlaps the keyboard

there but this is a nice level of detail a nice number of little things to fit

into such a small space drawing there for the costume and they

have sticker up on the wall with a map and a bunch of notes on that as well

lastly here's the interior of Pippa's pizza with the pizza oven on the left

that has an opening that's large enough to actually fit an entire pizza pie

inside of it that's nice they give you one full pizza pie in this set and two

officially two sliced pieces that large brown thing there is a meat spit for the

meat for schwarmann and you can see the shawarma on the menu up there above and

you have just little checkout register and a fire extinguisher you know there

are always fires in universes like this so this allows maybe a citizen to help

themselves rather than always having to call upon the superheroes now these

buildings aren't really supposed to be directly next to each other like this

and that's why you see a couple of hinges there to allow you to do like

this to separate things out and to create some space in your imaginary play

world and that still allows you to access everything from the interiors but

it really creates these individual buildings now that look pretty good and

you even get a little bit of detail on the the space that was covered up

previously so that's nice that they you know put the extra pieces in there a

little bit of extra effort to make that not look completely plain in that area

that oftentimes will be will be covered up but you know this this is a pretty

good look right here and you can also just close the entire thing up all the

way to make it into one solid building and just imagine that they are on

parallel streets and this doesn't look half bad itself you know they have the

height exactly the same between the two so they kind of merged together pretty

well top to bottom a little bit of change of

color is not bad the overall styling is pretty good and it's just a I think a

decently displayable thing so now that I've closed this up like this I do need

to show you or I've shown you that this can be closed up a team

to show you the last action feature in the the center floor of the sanctum

sanctorum it works by turning this gray knob here and it only works when the

whole building is folded at least 90 degrees in this is another feature that

blows out a window however it also reveals the time stone that is of course

one of the Infinity stones or gems and they've not embedded it into the eye of

agamotto here just because well they wanted to have all the stones

individually presented so you can collect those and then put them into the

Infinity Gauntlet now with any set that includes an infinity stone you get a

full sprue of four of them so if you happen to lose one you're not out of

luck this is nice kind of built in replacement parts and or spares to make

your own stuff speaking of which this set includes two full sets of the power

blast and splat pieces that allow you to set up dynamic kind of comic style

scenes with your figures so identical sets of orange and trans light blue and

all these pieces will attach to figures in various ways because they have bar

sized attachment points on them you put them in hands unit a CH them two legs

and just do whatever you want with them how you choose I love these pieces and I

think they are great for fans of all ages for multiple reasons play and

display looking at the figures here's Doctor Strange with the soft style K

piece for the base but the collar is the harder more papery style to give it that

nice crisp pop to it his hands have accessories that allow all of those

power blast and splat pieces to be conveniently attached as he works his

magic he's got the white paint applications on

the hair there and looking around the back it's pretty easy to see the back

torso print thanks to that nice cloth piece it's pretty well detailed but it's

very subtle with the black against the the dark blue for most of it so

a lot of a lot of lighting conditions won't really show that all that well and

then he also has his second face and there's how that looks in comparison so

just a little bit more serious while he's actually fighting iron spider comes

with his own white colored spider blast pieces and these are the ones that will

actually fire off from the hands by just squeezing in back here off that goes

those work pretty well you see printing on the arm spreading on the other arm as

well I think that that arm printing looks pretty good it's kind of a shame

they didn't go with the dual molded legs here though I think it really really

really could benefit it from those two get that dark blue coming down the side

of the leg between the two between arm printing and dual molded legs I probably

would have gone for a dual molded legs at least the quality of the printing

here is really good it's really sharp you can just see the depth of the ink

you know that's that's actually on it for the raised areas of the black that's

printed on there and the gold is nice and opaque and interesting Lee that's a

that's a cool piece that they used for the the back to hold the arms on there

it just or are they called legs I think I think you consider those to be arms

still it's it's just nice and compact holds everything in real close they

don't stick out too far towards the rear they don't droop down too much I think

it makes sense to use a specialized piece for that rather than using the

standard brackets and then brick building on top of that and you know

gives you decent range motions so you can bring those forward and if you want

you can imagine these tips firing off you can even place something into the

end of this old EXO force arm on each of the the arms there but printing on the

back of the head of course and then nice printing actually on the back of the

torso it's too bad you don't see that most of the time but I think this is

something a lot of people would like to see so leaving off the the rest of the

suit is something that I would recommend if you want to be able to appreciate

this extra design Tony Stark himself is up to mark 48 now in his suit series for

Ironman a little bit more organic looking here I

do like that style it's a little bit different you know it's taking things in

a little bit different direction away from the purely mechanical looks a

little more alien this time around I think that Lego did a pretty good job

here I especially appreciate the the print for the tips of the boots I don't

know why there's something about that that's important to me and then the the

visor is done really well of the visors the eyes you know they're lined which

makes that look again nice and crisp just has really good definition even

from quite a distance makes it look more alive and more glowing got a little bit

of print on the top there as well couple more paint applications the piece that

his feet are attached to is one of those new 1 by 2 rounded plates and so those

have holes in them so you can stick the power blast pieces all the way through

and the be small translucent or transparent light blue pieces that are

down below are also Hollow and there's a normal Tony Stark expression but then

this is a new head piece for him that shows the heads-up display you know as

the camera looks at him says some scratches in it and it's a little bit

awkward that they did put down the full white base coat behind that you know so

it looks like it's it's extra bright and pale I don't know if that could have

been done better you know often times I do complain when

they don't put down enough primer but no I don't know if this was the ideal way

but you see what they were going for at least and when he does have the helmet

on you just pull up on the front kind of see what I feel is is wrong about that

you know because it should have kind of a dark background and here it just looks

really tasty I don't know let me know in the comments what you think about this

one if you think it should have been darker as the base or if you

appreciate the lighter color being used there as kind of a primer to help bring

out some of the details this is ebony maw he kind of looks like

a combination of Snape and Voldemort in the face but I think that Lego has done

a pretty good job of making the face look pretty skinny even though you know

it's just using the same standard size and shape of head mold there the color

is light aqua that they used for that and you know there are different ways

they could have gone with that but it's it's creepy and alien I appreciate that

I like the printing on the torso the hips and the legs they line up really

well the legs could have used just a little bit more opacity you know to make

those a little bit lighter but at least the hips are are lined up really well

and kind of helped to tie things together he comes with his own yellow

colored power blast pieces no alternate face for this one because you need is

not have headgear on good print around the back of the torso it just kind of

kind of matches pretty well yeah I think this is well done for what it is I think

the color of the head the base color is something that's debatable but this is

one of the possible good choices I think they could have made finally here is

cull obsidian and let me tell you the things that I like

first I like the molding for the head and I also like the molding for the

single pauldron on his right our left there I guess I also like the builds for

his dual weapons those also used the relatively new 1 by 2 rounded plate

pieces to a good effect give you a little bit different shape there looks

like a pretty fun thing to play with you know it's it's really designed I think

to capture the imaginations of kids with a very evil look and a very menacing

stance what I don't like oh I also like the subtlety of the difference between

these two colors not sure if that's fully intentional or if those were

trying to match but I think it actually looks better that way but I do think the

body looks a little bit plain to me with the the gray just going

through it I don't know you just maybe maybe it looks better on camera and from

this lower angle but just interacting with the figure in person as I was

putting the weapons together and everything just looks a little bit

lacking to me especially because most of the time you're gonna be seeing it kind

of from above it really looks down quite a lot and also as always big figs have

very limited articulation so you just can move the arms up and down and you

can rotate the wrists in and out that works fine for what it is but I wish

they could do something else as well that's your sanctum sanctorum showdown

and I would rate this set overall similar to the was at the bridge battle

said I believe it was that really good half a bridge Spiderman said that they

made in terms of the overall size level of a detail display ability and also a

playability there's a lot of good stuff for playing here I think the figures

overall are are pretty good they're not necessarily great and certainly there

are some debatable individual design decisions that were made there but I

think the number of them is fair the cast of characters is is good is pretty

strong you know I think they could have added in employee down here or just a

regular citizen to kind of sweeten up the deal a little bit more into you know

bring it more into a real setting a supposedly realistic setting but a lot

of people I'm sure I'm going to buy this asset to get the building mostly and to

display that building and it has a lot of appeal for both kids and adults and

collector types because it just looks for the good from the outside

definitely thin but again they made pretty good use of the space that's

within here for the sake of play and the fact that it can all be you know easily

hinged around I think is going to allow it to look better than it ought to in

many places because you can always put it into that that corner sort of set up

to make it look bigger than it really is or you can just close the thing up

entirely and then it looks equally good from all angles so

there were a lot of compromises here and I think that most of them are good and

positive and and add to to the overall effect of everything together and make

for a good result for the number of pieces and the ultimate price for it one

other thing I guess I forgot to mention is that a lot of these things can be

attached to so these exposed studs and also the the jumper pieces they used

here you can put hands on the on these things you can put feet on these things

you can even attach the blast and splat pieces to make it look like things are

being hit in real time so I don't know how much of that was intentional if you

like probably some of it was but it's another positive note for this set

that's it for my thoughts though again please be sure to check out to the

pinned comment before you comment yourself and I'll be talking to you

again soon because my next video is on the way

Parblo Coast 13 [Tablet Review] - Duration: 5:07.

So, I've been asked to do a review of this tablet by a company with probably the greatest

name ever.

Um, This is the Coast 13 Graphics Monitor by Parblo,

which is my new favorite word...

Ever.

They've included some stickers here but we'll get to that in a second.

And there's a little poster!

I like this guy, he's funky.

No, wait...

This guy.

Also, I am kind of losing it, because look at this.

Good morning.

Stud.

I gotta put this on my computer just so I can, just, see it, every single day, and be

reminded of the stud that I really am.

Okay so, the actual tablet.

This is the only pen monitor that I have ever had experience with, so I'm kinda going to

be comparing it to uh, a Cintiq by Wacom of the same size.

Inside the package is the tablet, with a- just a whole mess of buttons.

Customizable, programmable keys, and a handy dandy little scroll wheel, which is very very

fun to click.

There is also a crazy-looking cord, a dust cloth, a glove, which is nice, the driver's

included on a CD, and this weird little box that, I wasn't really

sure what it was at first, but it's a freakin' pen box!

It's so fancy!

And it feels really nice.

It also comes with six extra nibs, and a little doohickey to get them out.

I don't know why I'm so thrilled by that, it just makes me really happy.

As far as pen pressure goes, it has 2,048 levels of sensitivity, and it does not support

pen tilt.

For comparison, the Cintiques usually have more than 8,000 pressure levels, but the Coast

13 handles so smoothly I don't think I'd be able to tell.

Like, it doesn't feel like it has very low pressure levels.

I can press really really lightly on it, and it'll still pick up the strokes, so that's

great.

Especially for people like me who don't like to bare down super hard on their tablets.

The screen itself feels really nice, like even without the glove on, your hand can glide

over it really really easily.

One thing though is, um, things can get underneath the glass very easily.

There's some cat hairs and dust that I don't think were there when I first got it that

just appeared after minutes of holding it.

I don't know if that's my fault...

Or what.

There doesn't seem to be a way to get them out, so that's...

A little troubling.

The screen resolution is 1920x1080, which is the same as Wacom has for their Cintiqs

on their website, but the screen on the Coast 13 is not quite as sharp as I would like.

Maybe I'm just spoiled by like, my mac daddy computer monitor, but I just feel like it's

lacking in the resolution.

I just feel like it's a little bit fuzzy.

When I first started using it, the colors and the contrast were like, WAY messed up.

It didn't match what was on my computer at all, so after quite a while of messing around

with them on the settings, I think I got it pretty close, but it's still not exactly the

same color.

And I don't think I can get it to match up completely.

It works totally perfectly with Paint Tool SAI and Photoshop, um, I haven't used that

many other programs with it so I don't know, but I hear that it has some problems with

open source programs like GIMP and Krita.

So you might want to check up on that if you use those programs.

The pen itself doesn't need to be charged.

It has an eraser on it, which is super great.

I kind of wish that the button on the side was a little bit more raised, but that's (trailing

off) just a personal preference...

I don't know, I've been using it for a few days now, um, my biggest problem with it is

that the colors aren't very true to life.

So, a lot of times I just end up looking up at my computer screen instead of the tablet

to make sure that the colors are okay.

But, there's almost no lag, very little parallax.

There's a little bit of space but that's to be expected.

It's bigger than the tablet that I normally use but it's light enough that you can carry

it around with you.

Y'know, coming from a beginner to pen monitors like this, I think that this will be a really

good tablet for a beginner.

There wasn't a whole lot of fuss setting it up, except for...

I forgot to uninstall my Wacom drivers so the pen sensitivity didn't work, but that

was my bad.

The Wacom Cintiq Pro 13 is 1,000 dollars, whereas the Parblo Coast 13 is only 345.

So, it's less than half of the price of a Cintiq of the exact same size, and while you

may be sacrificing pressure levels and other things, I think it's really worth it, because

it feels like just a good, sturdy tablet.

So yeah, I hope you enjoyed this and I hope it was at least a little bit helpful.

I'll be back next week with another tablet review, and keep an eye out for more speedpaints.

Because I am going to be using the heck out of this thing.

Also, if you want to support me and what I do, and want to help me be an artist as a

career, I have a Patreon where you can get so much- Just SO much exclusive art that I

don't post anywhere else.

There's a ton of stuff.

There's also some public posts over there if you want to go browse.

Then there's physical rewards that you can get, like pins with my art on them and hand

written thank you notes, y'know.

But thank you so much for watching.

Seeya next week!

The Post • TPN's Movie Review - Duration: 6:00.

During the Vietnam war the Secretary of State at the time, Robert McNamara ordered an extensive

study done by various academics as to all of the American operations in the area at

the time.

The intent was to create a document for future administrations to help guide policy.

In 1969 the document was leaked to the NYTimes who started publishing stories which indicated

that the Nixon administration had been systematically lying to the American public as to the extent

and breadth of operations, and that there were many in the administration, including

McNamara himself who had concluded that victory in the region was impossible.

The government issued an injunction against the Times, silencing them from publishing

and so The Washington Post began publishing stories on the papers as well.

The Post, directed by Steven Spielberg, is the story of that newspapers acquisition of

the documents and internal struggle to decide whether or not to take on the US government

and publish.

Meryl Streep plays the owner of the paper, Kay Graham and Tom Hanks is her lead editor.

It's a gorgeously shot, terribly well acted movie that you've seen many times before.

Spielberg, Hanks, and Streep have all made better movies than this.

That isn't much of a criticism of course, given those three are responsible for some

of the greatest films of all time.

Here Spielberg and Hanks are both pretty good, which is again better than most anyone's

best days.

Spielberg's movies are so ubiquitous and a part of our culture that I don't really

notice his style anymore when I watch his movies.

They just look and feel the way that movies are supposed to feel.

And Hanks of course has weight and gravitas as Ben Bradlee though lately when I watch

a Tom Hanks movie I tend to just see Tom Hanks, not the character he's play.

Bradlee steadfastly confident in his belief of the Post's duty to the public and to

truth.

But within the boundaries of the film, that is all he ever is, a catalyst for the plot.

Bradlee wants to publish the Pentagon Papers because it is morally right, whatever impact

that may have on the Post.

The film's main character then is the Post's owner Katherine Graham, played by Streep.

The Washington Post was purchased by her father, who left it to her husband when he passed,

and not her.

Something that Katherine didn't think twice about as things were just different in the

40s and 50s.

After her husband's suicide the paper passed to her, having never held a job in her life.

And Katherine's character must learn to navigate male only boardrooms and find the

strength to lead during one of the most significant journalistic crises in US history.

And Streep does a wonderful job elevating what might otherwise be pedestrian material.

Unlike Hanks, she disappears into the role of Kate and is what makes watching Kay's

'finding my strength' journey fun to watch.

Because outside of Streep, the whole story is so squarely on the nose, with long tracking

shots that follow her from a roomful of women to a board room full of men.

The last tracking shot leaving the courthouse made me roll my eyes a bit, as Streep walks

through a crowd of young women who all look at her appreciatively.

While The Post is rock solid good, you've seen this movie before, and done better.

Newsroom films about historical events can lean into the noble journalist cliche or into

the complexity and intrigue of the history.

The Post leans into the former and because of that you could swap out the Pentagon Papers

for Watergate or McCarthy or a political event they made up and you'd have essentially

the same movie.

Which was disappointing because this is such interesting part of American history.

For a much more fascinating take on that checkout Errol Morris' documentary The Fog of War,

in which the whole movie is conducted as an interview with McNamara himself.

It's one of my favorite documentaries

But because of The Posts volume of cliche, it feels to me more like activist marketing

than just good storytelling - a Hollywood message movie for our current times.

That's not necessarily a bad thing when it's done with this caliber of artists but

while I think a defense of the role free press plays in our society is important, I also

think the movie misses the point as a critique of contemporary culture.

There's a scene in The Post where Tom Hanks scoffs at the idea of creating more editorial.

Today we are nothing short of drowning in it.

Where 50 years ago a handful of titans in journalism were our sources for truth and

the first check against the powerful, the digital information age has brought a mass

proliferation of voices.

Cacophonous and loud, all climbing over each other to battle for our attention mostly by

appealing to our basest instinct for ideological validation.

We all want to feel like we're in the right and today it's very easy to surround ourselves

with agreement.

Consequently the very definition of the word News has been redefined, from "noteworthy

information about recent events" to "information I agree with."

And that has made it profoundly simple for the powerful to take away the one thing that

this check against them needs as oxygen to survive: credibility.

In 1971 the Nixon administration filed an injunction against the Times and sought one

against The Post.

Today, Nixon could've just leaned into a microphone and uttered the words fake news.

When he did a dozen media outlets would start combing the Times reporters Twitter feeds

for contradictions.

While others scrutinized paper itself searching busily for patterns of bias to confirm for

their own consumers the things that they already believed.

There may never be another Edward R Murrow or Robert Frost to speak truth to power on

our behalf because truth is today now relevant to tribe.

No single Ben Bradlee can face this tidal wave for us anymore.

It's on us to listen critically to this noise that erodes our rational skepticism

and fans the flames of our easy and default cynicism.

On us to break our fixation away from the same constellation we fixate on every evening

and consider the whole night sky.

Because if we don't do that, and the people to whom we give the power bring everything

crashing to the ground, maybe, it's on us.

"Cassius is right.

The fault dear Brutus is not in our stars, but in ourselves.

Goodnight, and good luck."
