Philadelphia Eagles' Marcus Johnson baptized in hotel pool with teammates by his side

Marcus Johnson, a wide receiver for the Philadelphia Eagles, said he was baptized in a North Carolina swimming pool Thursday with the support of several of his teammates — and tweeted out a photo of the event.

"First time being Baptized! Corporate Worship is a beautiful thing!! Cleaned & Reborn in JESUS name!! #WholeHeartedly," Johnson tweeted Thursday.

Johnson was baptized in Charlotte at the hotel where the team was staying, according to CBS Sports. The Eagles beat the Carolina Panthers Thursday, with a score of 28-23.

Alongside Johnson during his baptism was quarterback Carson Wentz, tight end Zach Ertz, offensive guard Stefen Wisniewski, tight end Trey Burton, linebacker Jordan Hicks and backup quarterback Nick Foles, among others, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.

Chase Daniel, now a quarterback for the New Orleans Saints, told ESPN in December 2016 when he was a backup quarterback for the Eagles that his team was "by far the most spiritual team I've been on.

Five teammates — linebackers Jordan Hicks, Mychal Kendricks and Kamu Grugier-Hill, and wide receivers Paul Turner and David Watford — were baptized in the Philadelphia Eagles' recovery pool late last year, according to reports.

DAL FRY TADKA RESTAURANT STYLE|| HOTEL STYLE DAL FRY||DAL FRY DHABA STYLE|| RESTAURANT DAL FRY - Duration: 7:23.

hi friends today I'm going to show you an extremely delicious restaurant style

dal tadka or dal fry . Dal is a very common recipe but today we are giving it

a twist and making a more decorated version hope you like it let's look at

the ingredients 1 cup of total 1/4 cup of chana dal 2 medium onions chopped 1

medium tomato 2 teaspoons of ginger garlic paste 2 teaspoons of cumin seeds

2 teaspoons of mustard seeds 1 TSP of haldi red chilli powder store-bought

garam masala salt to taste he put of kokum/Garcinia indica if you don't have it

just use an extra tomato for a darker on the cooked dal 2 garlic cloves and 1 dry

red chilli some water

now we are gonna use a pressure cooker to cook the dolls so at the two rutile

and each another to the pressure cooker and wash them

thoroughly after washing add about three cups of water the reason to use pressure

cooker is the doll gets cooked evenly and also takes less time

now add 1tsp of haldi and 1 teaspoon of salt give it a mix or shake it like this

now put the lid on and we're gonna cook for about three to four vessels

now while the doll cooks let's get the onions and tomatoes cooked as well so

put the flame to medium high and and about 7 To 8 teaspoons of oil it's just

faster like this since the oil is more once the oil is hot add the mustard

seeds as they crackle add the cumin seeds some he and give it a toss like

this now add the chopped onions

the amount of onions you need is more so he was about to medium onions your to

good mix and saute them well so always to speed up the process just add about

two teaspoons of salt and saute them cover it and let it cook for about three

to four minutes and I'm gonna reduce the flame to medium low now it's been

cooking for about four minutes or so so give it a mix again and let's start

adding the other ingredients add the two teaspoons of ginger and garlic paste and

saute them well until the raw flavors of ginger and garlic go away at these

spices add the turmeric red chilli powder store-bought masala powder and

give it a good mix

Add chop tomatoes again mix everything well cover this mixture and

let it cook for about 2 to 3 minutes after about three minutes you will

notice that there is some oil separated from the mixture so give it a good mix

it smells so good in here now here is the cook tile you notice that I'm not

necessarily beating it I want to have the shape of the doll as it is as much

as we can so I'm just gonna you know mix it and just add it to the tomato and

onion mixture gradually start mixing everything together reduce the flame to

low be very careful while you are mixing the doll because it tends to you know

kind of pop out and it can fall on your hand so you know be very careful and do

it gradually now add all the remaining salt and notice that we have not added

any water to it and also add the kokum and like I said if you don't have it no

worries you can always add an extra tomato give everything a good mix and

cover it and let it cook

now it's been cooking on a low flame for about five minutes let's open and check

so start mixing it from the bottom and you know if there is anything stuck to

the bottom just scrape it off but since it's only low flame that is not much

cover it and let it cook for another two or three minutes and it's pretty much

done now open it and give it a mix these additional to three minutes of cooking

was for the co come to infuse all its flavors into the doll but otherwise the

dal has cooked so now let's go ahead and switch off the flame and cover it

and keep it aside now we are getting ready to give the third cup from the top

to the cooktop so add about four to five teaspoons of oil

smash the garlic like this so I'm gonna do it on the side once the oil is hot

add the smashed garlic to the oil reduce the flame since it becomes too hot on

your nose and also the garlic May burn so just reduce the flame and then once

it's fried add the dry red chili a low flame it will take about 30 seconds to 1

minute to get the mixture fried now turn the flame a little high and give it a

mix and the third guy is ready go ahead and put it on the cooktop

it smells so good amazing cover it and let it sit for about 10 minutes or so

after 10 minutes open and check it really smells very good in here just mix

that fried garlic all over the dal so that it infuses the flavor and then

garnish it with the coriander leaves dal tadka is now ready take it out in a

plate and serve hot

enjoy it with some hot rice or a paratha or naan by just adding one or two

teaspoons of clarified butter it just takes the taste to another level if you

liked today's recipe please don't forget to Like subscribe and comment thank you

2018 - Taiwan - Hualien's Marshal Hotel Collapses after Massive 6.4 Earthquake - 6/2/18 - Duration: 1:44.

A hotel on the east coast of Taiwan has collapsed after a 6.4-magnitude earthquake, with other

buildings toppled or damaged. Images on local television showed the Marshal

Hotel in Hualien slanted on its side, partially crumpled into the ground.

Media reports said there were 30 people trapped inside with others crawling to safety.

The fire agency said at least four buildings including another hotel had toppled or been

damaged, with television images showing roads strewn with rubble and cracks in highways.

The port city of Hualien is one of Taiwan's most popular tourist hubs as it lies on the

picturesque east coast rail line and is near to popular Taroko Gorge.

Taiwan's president Tsai Ing-wen said rescuers from around the island were preparing to help.

"We will get into disaster relief work at the fastest speed," she said in a post on

her Facebook page. The quake hit at 10 minutes before midnight

local time around 21 kilometres northeast of Hualien, according to the United States

Geological Survey. It follows almost 100 smaller tremors to have

hit the area in the last three days and comes exactly two years since a quake of the same

magnitude struck the southern Taiwanese city of Tainan, killing more than 100 people.

Taiwan lies near the junction of two tectonic plates and is regularly hit by earthquakes.

Nissan's new Japan hotel takes automation to a new level - Duration: 4:51.

Nissan's new Japan hotel takes automation to a new level

Japan already has the worlds smartest toilets, but now there are smart shoes, furniture and accessories.

You might remember Nissans 2016 marketing maneuver, when the Japanese carmaker introduced a line of self-driving chairs that could autonomously glide together using cameras and sensors.

This time, the auto innovators have taken aim at traditional hospitality and everyday objects.

Drawing from the autonomous parking technology of the Nissan Leaf car, which debuted in October, the ProPILOT Park Ryokan hotel comes kitted out with all kinds of intuitive amenities.

Sadly, the ryokan isnt a long-term hotel but rather part of a pop-up project.

It will be open for one night only, on March 24, when the winners of a social media contest will have a chance to stay and experience the automatic amenities.

Shoes on the move Staying in a traditional Japanese ryokan (guesthouse) is a special experience.

For starters, the traditional wooden houses typically feature kimono-clad hosts, serene rock gardens, onsen (hot spring baths) and tatami mat rooms.

As one of Japans most historic types of accommodation, ryokans are rarely associated with smart toilets, robots and sensors.

But the ProPILOT Park Ryokan -- located in the hot spring mountain town of Hakone, southwest of Tokyo -- is home to more than a few smart surprises, including slippers and furniture that seem to move with a mind of their own.

By the welcoming foyer, a collection of house slippers -- as its customary to take off shoes before entering a Japanese home or temple -- organizes itself with the push of a button.

Then theres the in-room surprises, where guests find self-tidying furniture, floor cushions and accessories.

The movement might seem like magic, but these self-straightening shoes and furniture draw from Nissans autonomous parking technology.

For cars, the technology requires a ton of processing power: In total, it requires four high-resolution cameras capable of real-time image processing and 12 sonar sensors to assess the vehicles surroundings, Nick Maxfield, a Nissan spokesman, tells CNN Travel.

After processing the collected information, the system can then safely park the vehicle by controlling the accelerator, brakes, steering and transmission.   Of course, applying the technology to slippers and a few cushions is much simpler.

Essentially, each object is assigned a start or home position thats activated by the push of a button.

There are also cameras in the ceiling of the inns reception area and room, adds Maxfield.

The cameras detect objects on the floor using image-processing technology, and the system uses this data to plot the route for a parking maneuver -- essentially via remote control. In the case of the slippers, each shoe has two little wheels on the bottom.

Not only do these wheels enable the shoes to move back into their assigned parking spot, but they also disappear into the sole when worn.

Hotel Quick Takes: E2 - UK Supply & Demand - Duration: 1:19.

So the UK hotel industry as a whole has certainly been the development hotspot for Europe.

There are plenty of new projects coming into the market, plenty of new hotel openings as

well.

So supply is going up, but the positive thing about the UK that despite that new supply,

we're still selling more rooms year on year, and demand growth, so the number of rooms

that we sell, is outpacing the amount of new rooms coming into the market, the supply.

So that is leading to increased occupancy levels across the country as a whole.

I think coupled with that, and something that's very important as well is despite all the

new supply coming in, hoteliers have continued to push their average rates, so they've continued

to charge more for their rooms, ultimately generate more rooms revenue as well, which

therefore continues to make the UK a really attractive market for development and investment

within the hotel sector.
