This WeatherTech Cargo Liner in black is for those of you that have a two-door 2007 and

up JK that are looking to protect that area behind the rear seat, so when you're throwing

stuff in there that might be dirty, muddy, wet, whatever, you're not going to ruin that

carpet and you're going to be able to capture all of that mess in something that is much

easier to clean than that carpeting is going to be.

This, of course, being a floor mat is going to be a very simple one outta three wrench

installation, you're really just gonna set it in place.

But we'll talk more about that in just a second.

So, one of the big benefits to a WeatherTech floor liner, or a WeatherTech cargo liner,

or really any cargo liner that is going to be a rubberized plastic material, is the fact

that it is so easy to clean.

It's going to offer some nice protection, it's also going to make the Jeep look a little

bit more finished, in some people's opinion.

But it's really about being able to clean this off very, very easily.

This is also going to be a little bit grippier than the carpet is, so if you're setting some

smaller items in here, you're going around corners, they're gonna stick a little bit

better to this, they're not gonna slide back and forth quite as much as they otherwise

would.

Now, from WeatherTech you have the option to get a cargo liner that will fit in your

two-door when you have the back seat removed.

And that's gonna cover a larger area.

This one is designed to work, of course, behind that second seat, behind that rear set of

seats.

So, it is a little bit of a smaller liner but it's still going to offer end-to-end protection.

And that's really what WeatherTech is all about.

They're about giving you something that is designed to specifically work in your vehicle.

So, this is going to be a very nice fit, it's going to give you complete coverage.

It's also going to have some sides on it so that if you do have a wet mess in the back

of the Jeep, if you throw a pair of boots that are covered in snow and they start melting,

whatever it might be, all of that is going to get captured in here instead of spilling

over the edges and onto your carpet.

Now, in general, WeatherTech is going to be a little bit more of an expensive mat or liner

than some of the other brands out there.

They are going to be specifically fit to your vehicle and they are gonna be very good quality,

so there are a couple of reasons for that higher cost.

And if you have the budget for it, I do think you're going to get a premium product when

you buy something from WeatherTech.

However, if you are on a budget, if you're not looking for the premium item, we do have

some other options out there.

So, with this cargo liner, like I said, you're getting what you're used to seeing from WeatherTech,

something that's specifically fit to the vehicle with a lip around the outside to catch any

messes or spills and keep them on the cargo liner.

This is going to be made from the same material that most other WeatherTech liners are made

from.

This is a TPE material, a thermoplastic material that is going to be flexible but still strong,

so it's gonna hold up really well over time.

For the install, again, one outta three wrenches.

It's just a floor mat, you throw it in place, very easy.

You do have a couple of cut-outs that you can make here, if you choose to, for the tie-downs

that are in the rear cargo area of your JK.

Other than that, you really just set it in place, very easy to install.

This cargo liner is gonna run you around $110.

Like I said, that's gonna be a little bit more than some of the other options out there.

You can get some less expensive options.

However, they're not going to fit as well, they're not gonna have the same lip around

the outside, they're not going to be made out of a material that is as high a quality

as this is, so you're not going to get quite as much life out of it.

If you are looking to save some money, there are some other options.

If you want a premium option and you have a higher budget, then I think this is definitely

the way to go.

So, if you're looking for a very high-quality cargo liner for your two-door JK, I definitely

recommend this one from WeatherTech.

And you can find it right here at extremeterrain.com.

Holiday Inn Warsaw City Center - IHG Hotel Review by MartinTheVlogger - Duration: 7:26.

this is the hotel review about a Holiday Inn Warsaw in Poland I'm Martin and I do

stay around 120 150 nights a year in hotels for many many years this is a

brand new hotel it been open at the beginning of 2018 or or late December

2017 it used to be a different Holiday Inn more closer to the city center but

now I know why they get rid of that strategic position and why they have

this brand new hotel here position wise this hotel is situated in the business

area so I do believe it will be more like business oriented Hotel so that way

is basically the city center and you are able to get there by just walking in 15

minutes or 10 minutes most of you I believe will come here probably by by

plane but if you are coming here by car be prepared about one thing the parking

it's under neath of the hotel of course but you need to use the lift and these

are the dimensions and just you know make sure your card will fit and now

let's go inside it's pretty cool here we're gonna have a break-y

the breakfast positively surprised usually holiday in doesn't have that as

much options to choose from depends on the hotel of course but everything it's

in here the kitchen is open so you can see how they prepare the food

you see how clean it is nice area modern and fresh and as you can see I went for very

healthy breakfast and in general the food that I was having yesterday I was

having burger and the night before I was having steak sandwich and some bites I'm

not a food critic but the burger was a little bit plain the steak sandwich was

super smelly because of the cheese but price-wise it's something that I

would expect from the hotel like this in Poland so eight nine ten Euro for

burger sandwich it's normal thing now I will finish my breakfast and we're gonna

go to the room to see how it looked like I will stop in the

gym

it's a little bit of disappointment but in general you can go and practice for

30 minutes after hard work and get back it's it's clean tidy but nothing special

and I'll show you now my room I booked a standard room and I was

getting upgrade to executive

it's not any big room but it's spacious the TV here at its Samsung and it's very

good quality of the TV is not any cheap thing coffee so it's for free

minibar aria with the coffee thing minibar it's included in the price when

you are upgraded the room in general is not big but it fulfills your needs if

you want to go over sleep plenty of you know plug-ins for your chargers so

that's nice the interior it's very modern I don't know if that wall will be

still modern in a couple of years but that's that's I'm not the interior

designer they're using the space as much as possible so roll up doors and you

have your you know Closet in here so that's nice and respect to the bathroom

the the floor it's heated so that's a good thing and shower it spacious it's

fresh and it's clean it's modern the only thing I'm missing is that you don't

have any separate air vents or you know that fan it's a small room and if you

are here with someone you know all these kind of noises from the bathroom it

should be probably or could be good if you have a separate fan okay so what is

the final outcome if we will have a look on on the ihg app we will find a hotel will

use current location in order to be fair let's put it from one month from now

so you can see the price is roughly around 470 600 or 800 for for the most

kind of most luxurious room I had also something like 130 euros per night

it included breakfast it's a very fresh modern it fulfills my requirements

and one big thing I have to say when I came in and I was checking in I have

noticed that the staff it's really nice and really polite at the bar when I was

ordering food the food was coming just like that again the staff was very

polite for example have a look at this small tiny thing but these kind of small

things make the difference I mean what how difficult is to write something like

this I wrote them back I gave them of course tips whoever is responsible for

this great job as I said overall I will give this also eight points out of ten

but very good eight points just because of the little bit of the food taste the

smaller gym the smaller rooms in in general but for the hotel that it's just

just designed and built for four managers to come to oversleep and go for

another meetings at the great hotel for for decent value so thank you very much

for watching and remember always have fun

Bear Kuma, 2018 Compound Bow Review - Duration: 3:44.

Hey guys Dan Pickar here with Eastmans' Bowhunting Journa.l it's a

little windy in Wyoming today. We got a chinook wind blowing in but it's melting

the snow off. I'm sure the deer and elk are appreciating that but anyway let's

look at the Bear Kuma.

It's new for 2018. It's a 33 inch axial axial bow. They got

some new technologies this year. Once again we've been seeing the trend the

dual the split riser up here by the limb pockets both on the top and the bottom

increases rigidity. So that's new this year. We have a new roller guard up here

which is new and pretty nice. We went back to the same grip that we had on the

Bear Escape from two years ago, but they also include a narrow grip in the box as

well so you can use whatever grip that you want. Okay we have the new hybrid cam

this year and we have the mod on the back side and you can adjust it all the

way from twenty four and a half to thirty and a half inches and it's pretty

cool because you can do all that without put into a bow press. So they got that

gives the the user a lot of power to do that at your home. You also have the

string stops on here that are adjustable kind of to your liking you can adjust

the peg one way or another if you want less of a valley or more of a valley. In

addition you can put the limb stops on which all these holes thread it on right

here you can take the string stop off and put the limb stop on and then you'll

have just kind of more of a solid back wall feel at full draw so that's kind of

nice too. So whatever the shooter prefers Bear has provided it this year with the

Bear Kuma. 6-inch brace height nice longer 33 inch axial axial bow. Let's

shoot one downrange. You got the Ripcord Ace on there lock it up.

A little bit of a speed bow. You can really feel the stiffness in the cam. The peak

of the valley is is really mild though. The valley is small but the back wall

feels good. So it's not a lot of let off and that's gonna give us maximum

performance.

All right we got to send a few downrange so let's move into the

chronograph and we'll see what we get for speeds. feet per second 5 4 3 2 1

okay Bear Kuma. We have a Bloodsport Evidence 350. This arrow has you see with

100-grain tip weighs 442 grains with all my bow reviews they're all 29 inch draw

length and 70 pounds. So let's see what we get for speeds out of here.

300 feet per second right on the nose. Wow that's quick I knew it was gonna be

a little quicker that draw cycle and that cam's built for speed. Okay let's

shoot one more see what we get.

301 pretty quick for the Bear Kuma. All right guys

Bear Kuma 300 feet per second 301 feet per second

Good speed out of it. That's the the review for the day be sure to check out

our Eastmans' Youtube channel and subscribe. We've got a lot of more boW

reviews coming up. Thanks for joining us.

Cold blooded review | NordicFuzzCon - Duration: 4:36.

Hello everybody!

My name is Zelus

Celsitudo!

There's snowplace like home.

But have you ever been in Sweden?

Apparently there is more in that northern country than IKEA.

There is a really *cool* little furry con close to its capital city, Stockholm.

If you're alone and get too cold you might become ice-olated.

However the Nordic Fuzz Con with its almost 1000 attendees and more than 400 registered

fursuits in 2018 sledded into our hearts through the frozen snow.

But why is this con so special?

Is it because of the endless hospitality of the local furries?

Or is it about the neverending party atmosphere?

Or is it because of the thrilling and creative ways the organizers entertaining the guests?

I can say fur sure that It's a con worth visiting.

I mean you can just walk right up to somefur and say:

'Hey dude, let's chill'.

You can even get some warm fursuit cuddles.

Or maybe you'll fall in love at frost sight with someone and then message them when you

get home about how snow much you miss them.

Anyway!

I've managed to capture some splendid moments with my camera.

Let's take a look!

If you saw yourself in the montage, leave a comment bellow.

"Coral Snow Plus" Product Review (korallen-zucht) - Duration: 3:35.

what's up everybody will come back to studio brief so today I'm doing a

product review on a new product from Korallen Zucht called Coral Snow Plus now

we have the regular coral snow for a while but this one is actually a

different product.. it is a phosphates reducer and a water clarifier so it

makes your water crystal clear but also has the benefit of sticking to the

phosphate molecules so your skimmer can take out phosphates directly, it also

acts as a buffer mechanism so even if you don't have that high phosphate you

can put some in your water weekly and in case you have a spike it will just

smooth that out because your skimmer will be on top of things so I gave it a

go and I've been using it now for three weeks and my initial phosphates before I

introduced the product was 0.25 which is considered pretty high so within a

matter of two weeks of doing this to my tank on a daily basis I saw it declined

back to where it's hardly even measurable with the salifert test

kit so here you see my spreadsheet and the bottom level is where I'm at today

so because I couldn't get the product in my local area yet because it's just hit

the market last month I had to order it directly from Collins ooh-ee but they've

delivered within a week and they deliver worldwide so you can just go ahead and

do that if you want to try out the product but I gotta say it was really it

took a few days before it started kicking in but then it really kicked in

so I'm back to dosing weekly now and I will not have the need for a reactor

with GFO running this because I'm running a full zeovit system they do not

recommend the use of GFO in conjunction with the rest of their products so this

is a great solution they did lack a bit of phosphate reduction in the old Soviet

program so I'm glad that they figure out a way to

do this soft reduction of phosphate slowly without stripping the water like

GFO does so this actually leaves some traces of phosphates behind for the

corals and the bacteria to feed on so both thumbs up to Thomas Paul from

Germany for creating this product and I will be definitely having this on my

shelf in the future so that's it for me that's all I got for you this week guys

thanks for watching and I'll see you next week if you like my videos hit that

thumbs up bye bye

2015-2017 Mustang EcoBoost Airaid Modular Intake Tube Review & Install - Duration: 6:15.

This is the Airaid modular intake tube for the 2015 and newer EcoBoost Mustang.

This intake tube works with the factory airbox and it's gonna look a lot better under the

hood than the factory intake tube does.

The factory inlet tube is small and weirdly shaped, so this one will look cleaner and

have no sound deadening [SP] baffles on the inside.

This intake tube gives you a way to get a little bit more air to your EcoBoost without

having to buy a cold air intake.

The install for this easy.

It's a one out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter, and you can plan on spending a half

an hour getting this on the car.

Currently Airaid is the only company out there that's offering just an intake tube by itself

for the EcoBoost.

The only other way that you can get a new intake tube is if you purchase a cold air

intake and may be just install the intake tube and leave the rest of the cold air kit

to the side.

But that is going to be a waste of money.

Depending on what cold air kit you go with, you're gonna be spending upwards of $300,

which is double the price of this tube by itself.

So Airaid is giving you a way to clean up your under hood appearance, open up some sound

and float [SP] a little bit more air to the EcoBoost, without having to purchase an entire

new cold air intake setup, and all while keeping your stock airbox.

I know that there are a lot of people out there that are fans of the stock airbox and

we've seen here that the stock airbox does perform on these cars.

And just like a cold air intake with a EcoBoost, this does not require a tune.

It's a direct fit replacement and you don't have to modify anything to get this on your

car.

You'll get the intake tube, new couplers and new hose clamps too.

So this is going to be ready to go right out of the box.

As far as price, you can expect to spend just over $150 for this.

Currently, this is the only intake tube that you can purchase on its own.

If you wanted another brand, you need to purchase a cold air intake kit, which is going to come

with new filter housing setup and a new filter.

This is going to be your only option if you wanted to keep your stock airbox and change

out the intake tube without having to buy a complete cold air intake.

When it comes to the install you're looking at a one out of three wrenches in the difficulty

meter, you can plan on spending a half an hour, may be an hour to get this on the car.

You're just looking at swapping out your inlet tube and nothing more.

You need a basic socket set and that's it.

All right, so the first thing we're gonna do is we're gonna loosen our clamps so we

can get our intake tube off.

There are only two clamps so we have couple disconnections to make and that's really all

it's gonna take.

So the first clamp I'm gonna loosen is right here at the airbox.

You don't have to remove it all the way, you just have to make it loose enough so that

you can slide this tube off, and then the next clamp is gonna be down there right by

our turbo.

So this is gonna be a little bit of a tight squeeze.

I added another extension onto my ratchet setup here just so that I can reach this.

Next we're gonna disconnect our PCV and our turbo bypass lines.

We're gonna wiggle the tube because it should be free at that point.

So now that everything is loose, we can just pull this tube out.

So next we have to prepare the Airaid intake tube, and what we're gonna do is we're gonna

insert this grommet and aluminum fitting into the tube.

So we'll put the grommet in first.

Basically, you can see how there is a line in the middle.

You are just trying to get that through the tube so the grommet sits on either side of

the tube.

I'm gonna take the aluminum fitting and insert that.

So now our aluminum fitting is inside the grommet and the intake tube.

Next we're gonna slide our reducer and our clamps onto the turbo side of the intake.

Gonna leave the clamps loose for now, but I'm gonna tighten this one down just enough

so that it stays on.

We're gonna do the same thing on the other side.

And now we're all ready to get this put in the car.

So now we're just gonna slide this back into place.

You guys can start with whatever end works easier for you, I'm just gonna try and get

this in there and see how it works out.

All right so this is a little bit of a tight squeeze, but basically I'm just going to be

trying to get this coupler over our turbo inlet here.

Now that I have the coupler over the turbo inlet, I am just going to tighten the clamp

down.

And while we're at this end of the tube, we're gonna plug in our turbo bypass line and our

PCV.

So we have one more clamp to tight up here and of course we gotta get our Airaid sticker

on the inlet tube.

That's gonna wrap things up for the Airaid modular intake tube for the 2015 and newer

EcoBoost Mustang.

You can check it out more online right here at americanmuscle.com.

mirror one but iridium metal one but that wasn't available Spartan as well as

Gotham divas have told me that they will let me know as soon as those in stock so

this is the extra visor that I picked up and this is the helmet itself it comes

in this let me just get it out boom so this is it it comes in this really nice

soft and high-quality dust bag so if you I would say guys always carry this bag

with you because it will your helmet does tend to get scratches when you are

carrying it around see or in a mall or you've gone with your friends to some

restaurant on a Sunday ride or something so it helps to have this bag with you it

doesn't take a lot of space as well so let me just quickly open it up and

reveal the helmet all right here we go hmm wait a minute why is it white and

black that's because it's the binomial guys I told you earlier look at this

it's got this flaming red or orange on one side and it's got white and it's

matte black I love this 3d empty logo right here now let's see what it says on

a race share configuration that means it can be used

for track days look at this look at how beautiful the orange black and this

graph it just looks it's already starting to pick up my fingerprints

because it's a matte finish that's what you can this is probably my first matte

helmet so you asked for air intakes guys it has one on the chin two on the top

here which are very easily open and closed and for the exhaust vents that's

got this neat closeable exhaust on the top back four ports here and it's got

two passive exhausts at the rear you can see the weight it says fourteen hundred

and fifty cramps the d-o-t and ECE badging sharp doesn't have a badging but

they've put it on the graphics as for because this guy's that I can see the

quality of these materials is really good it comes with a chin curtain to

help reduce the noise also any bugs that might fly in the double D fasteners

which are the safest hina on the website the empty helmets website it says it has

a micrometric fastener which is a standard in the europe but maybe for

india and for racing use this is what is standard there are some goodies here as

well which i have not opened up as yet now this is a reflective patch guys so

this should help you stay visible at night specifically from vehicles coming

from behind this is the opening mechanism it's really easy guys you just

have to pull down the tab and the Yser pops out so this is what you get inside

the box this is the helmet instructions so i guess should cover all the basics

like that's about storage cleaning and things

like how to tie the d-ring and it's called information and few other

languages as well so really handy most elements do not come with any

instructions whatsoever so thank you empty elements then it comes with this

is world standard so all their greetings are here and this is a sticker I love

stickers

Wow a nice rubber empty helmets keychain keyring thank you might come in handy

sometimes might give it away I don't know and it comes with this important 2

year warranty card with a unique number right there

cool 2 years warranty now let's do the grind thing of peeling the sticker I

know everyone loves this final QC pastured says and there we go slowly yes

yay and the helmet has been revealed hit that like button guys if you enjoyed

this video the opening and closing otherwise is only on the left hand side

but that's okay you should be only using your clutch hand anyways even this these

bands can be opened and closed pretty easy ok so let me show you this inside

now really well made really strong it caught hey I don't know if I can show

you the insides here there you go now guys this helmet is ready to ready for

accepting a Bluetooth communication systems so it has the

speaker pockets on both the both the sides where you can mount so that has

Jeep Wrangler Westin HDX Xtreme Boards (2007-2018 JK 4 Door) Review & Install - Duration: 3:54.

These Westin HDX Xtreme Boards in textured black are for those of you who have a four-door

2007 and up JK that are looking for a running board style sidestep.

This is not going to be armor.

This is going to be a sidestep.

This is going to install very easily onto your Jeep.

Definitely a bolt-on.

One out of three wrench installation.

Probably around an hour or so to get these installed, maybe a couple minutes more, and

we'll talk more about that installation in just a second.

Now, the reason that I stress the fact that this is a sidestep and not armor is because

these are very different things.

Armor is designed to hold up to protect the rocker area of the Jeep against rocks, stumps,

other off-road obstacles, and some of that armor can also offer a step.

This here is just going to be a step.

So, for as beefy as this looks, because of the way that it mounts and the way that it's

designed, it's not going to offer a lot of protection.

Definitely some door ding protection, protection against brush if you're running some light

fire trails, but not hardcore off-road protection.

So, that's definitely important to note.

But, if you're not looking for that type of protection, all you want is a good, usable

step that also offers a different look, then I think you're looking in the right place.

This is going to be a unique step.

We have bars that are drop steps.

We have your more traditional style running boards.

We have a tubular step.

This is something different that you don't often see.

This has a very angular, pretty aggressive look with your stepping pads recessed down

into it.

So, again, a very unique look that you're gonna get from Westin here.

Now, this sidestep's also going to be a little bit more expensive than some of those more

traditional ones.

There's a lot more that goes into manufacturing something like this with all of the angles,

and so it is gonna be a little bit pricier.

But as long as you're willing to pay a little bit more for something that has this look

and this function, I do think it's gonna be a pretty solid option.

These sidesteps are made of steel covered in that textured black powder coat finish.

They do come with all the brackets and everything that you need in order to get these bolted

up to the side of your JK.

This stepping pad here is going to be a plastic material that has a ton of grip built right

into it, so whether it's rainy, your shoes are muddy, there's some snow, you're getting

in and outta the Jeep, you're still gonna get a good bit of grip outta these.

And, these are going to be removable, so whether you're looking to clean things up, you need

to replace them, whatever the situation may be, you can remove those if you actually needed

to.

Now, there is a lot of HDX branding on these.

They're gonna have a badge on the end here.

A couple of badges on the actual stepping plate.

Usually, I like the branding of my products to be a little bit more subtle, but, as long

as you're okay with this, you know, it's not going to be a deal breaker.

So, to get these installed, again, definitely a one outta three wrench installation.

About an hour's time, maybe a little bit more by the time you get both sides finished up,

but the process is going to be very, very simple and bolt-on.

The first step is going to be bolting on the brackets onto the side of your JK.

After that, you'll bolt the sidestep onto the bracket.

Do that on one side, and rinse and repeat to finish it up on the other side.

Now, because these are going to occupy the same space as a lot of other sidesteps and

rocker armor, if you do have anything currently installed, you'll have to remove that first.

But, once you get that done, this is a very easy install.

These sidesteps are gonna run you right around $450 which, again, are more expensive than

your traditional round tubular sidesteps and some of the other options that we have, but

it's also a very unique look.

So, if you're willing to pay a premium for a unique look, have something that sets you

aside from a lot of the other Jeeps on the market, then I do think this is going to be

a very well-built option for you.

So, if you're looking for a unique sidestep for your four-door JK, I definitely recommend

these HDX Xtreme Boards from Westin, and you can find them right here at extremeterrain.com.

Spark VS Mavic Air footage and review - Duration: 4:41.

This year Dji`s product line counts three camera drones under $1,000 made for different

users. So how do you know which features you want?

Salut ! Bonjour and Welcome back to my channel.

Céline here ! Glad to see you, let's talk about a new review today.

Are you here for the first time? Well, here is a quick introduction : I am a TV journalist

for over 17 years now and I'm passionate about new technologies.

So if you like reviews, tutorials, vlogs consider subscribing. Now let's get back to business

and talk about which drone suits you best !

Do you remember last year when the Spark came out, I don't know about you but I was excited

about it.

Many others were complaining that it couldn't film in 4K and sure the drone was small and

you couldn't really fold the arms.

Now that the Mavic Air is out, it solves all of the main issues that people had with the

Spark but the price is still higher than a spark and if you want to film in 4K with a

good quality drone, would you be willing to sacrifice a couple of hundreds of euros more?

So let's see the price first : the Mavic Air is at $799 . The Spark is at $399 at the

entry-level and for $999 you get the Mavic Pro.

The Air is sort of a mashup of the Spark and Pro, but also has new features that you won't

find on these older models. That doesn't necessarily mean it's the best

option for you.

I have tried the Mavic air and for the use I have of my drone, the full HD quality is

fine with me. Due to being foldable, the Mavic Air sounds

far easier to carry around in the side pocket of a rucksack than the Spark.

But if you are like me, maniac on keeping your drone clean of scratches, you'll always

keep it in a box or a bag. And let's think it through, if you are wearing

jeans and a sweater, will you be able to put it in your skinny jeans pocket? Definitely

not, so this option is not really relevant.

Regardless of price, not everyone interested in getting a drone is going to need the Air's

feature set. And keep in mind that the Mavic air is at

430 grams, it's heavier than the 300 gram Spark. And in some countries drones equal

or under 300 gram don't have to be registered.

DJI's latest portable drone has an impressive maximum flight time of 21 minutes. And Oui

oui c'est vrai ! That's a notable upgrade on the 16 minutes you got with the Spark. You

can fly it further too. Its 4km remote control transmission range means you can fly it twice

as far as the Spark, which has a 2km range.  But then again, is it necessary for your use?

DJI recently discounted the Spark, to make it more affordable than it was previously.

So think twice before buying your next drone.

I hope you enjoyed and learn something with this video, if you did please click on the

thumbs up button down below and subscribe to my channel…

For YOU my friends who already subscribed ! you are awesome, merci beaucoup !

See you next monday! Salut !

NEW iBlinds Smart Window Blinds Z-wave Plus Controller Review - Duration: 8:12.

- Looking for a low-cost solution to automate your blinds?

Today, we're going to review iBlinds,

a Z-Wave-enabled horizontal blind motor.

I'll also be covering some useful troubleshooting tips,

so stay tuned.

(upbeat techno music)

Hi again, John Stone, the DIY Smart Home Guy

on the channel that's all about providing

tips, tricks, and reviews for your affordable smart home.

If you're a home automation nut like me,

you've no doubt been looking for an affordable solution

for controlling your window treatments.

The problem is, most automated blind solutions

are expensive, difficult to install, or require

some good old-fashioned, build-it-yourself tinkering.

In some cases, you can't even get a price

unless you schedule an in-home consultation,

which, of course, requires you to hand over

your email address and phone number.

Lucky for us, there's new players entering this market

all the time, and they promise to make the entire process

less painful and more affordable.

It just so happens that iBlinds is one of those players

and they've recently released a smart, Z-Wave motor

that integrates with smart hubs, like Vera,

SmartThings, and Wink Hub 2.

The folks over at iBlinds were kind enough

to send over this demo unit for me to check out.

So, in this video, we'll look at the installation process,

cover some troubleshooting tricks,

as well as talk about some home automation tips.

Just so you have a proper introduction,

iBlinds is a product of HAB Home Intelligence, LLC,

which is a startup located in Arlington, Texas.

- You are Hammond, of Texas.

- They also have an Indiegogo campaign.

If you're interested in supporting projects like these,

there's a link in the video description below.

And before you accuse me of being on the payroll,

this video is not a paid endorsement

and I received no compensation for making this video.

All products in the description below

are affiliate links and I may receive commissions

if you purchase products from these links.

So products shown in the video were provided

to me for free from the manufacturer.

However, the video should not be considered

an endorsement for any of these products.

HAB Home Intelligence is a company with a vision

that's centered around expanding

the smart home window covering ecosystem.

Basically they feel that if our locks, lights,

and thermostats are smart,

then shouldn't our window coverings be smart also?

Well, um, yeah.

And, as I mentioned, iBlinds is Z-Wave,

which means in can integrate straight into your smart hub.

When you buy the kit, which normally sells for 99 bucks,

you'll get the iBlind motor, the power connector,

a battery, plus the tilt rod adapters and a height adapter.

The kit also includes the basic power package,

which consists of a USB adapter and a USB charging cable.

You can purchase an optional solar panel charger

- Solar Power

(upbeat music)

that'll help you make sure that you won't need to worry

about leaving power cables hanging around your window

or accessing the unit to give it a charge.

- To see more videos like these,

now's a good time to subscribe.

You'll also wanna spank that bell icon

to be notified when new videos are released

or if I stream a live broadcast.

The other thing worth noting is that they have units

that operate on different Z-Wave frequencies,

which means you can use them

in countries all over the world.

But you wanna make sure that you tell them

which country you plan to use the motor in,

when you place your order, just to make sure

that you get the right frequency for your country.

Now, one limitation that I see is that they currently

only support two- to two-and-a-half-inch horizontal shades,

which are basically your standard Venetian blinds.

Don't get me wrong, this is a nice place to start.

But I'm looking forward to options

for motorized vertical blinds, as well.

Hint, hint.

Hint, hint.

Looking at the installation from the top down,

you'll see the motor, the charging port, and the battery.

The battery has this on/off switch,

which will be important in a few minutes.

And, if you're wondering how long the battery lasts,

iBlind boasts an impressive six months, on average.

(flames extinguished)

During the installation, you'll be removing the tilt rod

and putting a USB charging port in its place.

I left a link to a nice install video

in the description below.

You can also find a video on the iBlinds website.

So, here's how they work.

When you activate the motor from your smartphone

or Z-Wave remote, the motor turns

this connecting rod to tilt the blinds.

Another drawback that I see is that the unit

isn't able to raise and lower the blinds,

but, according to iBlinds, they're working on it.

And, in my opinion, with the proper amount of automation,

tilt really is all you need.

And, since this connects into your Smart Hub,

you have access to voice commands

if you're using a voice controller.

Computer, set blinds to 50%.

Now, before we take a look at this inside the Vera,

Wink, and SmartThings hubs,

let's cover a few troubleshooting tips just real quick.

First, when you get ready to pair this thing,

make sure that the power has been on

for at least 60 seconds.

Then, when you put your hub into Inclusion mode,

press the Include/Exclude button once.

Don't press this more than once,

or you're gonna run into problems.

If you pressed it three or more times,

I'll let you know how to recover from this in just a minute.

After your hub responds, you're gonna wanna wait,

and I mean wait.

The motor is going to go through an internal setup routine,

which could take a few minutes.

So you're gonna wanna be patient.

You'll know it's finished doing its thing

when it runs through this calibration mode.

During this cycle, the motor will open and close the blinds

as it figures out where the max limits are.

And, that's pretty much it.

You're done.

Now, if you got a little click-happy

and pressed that Include button more than three times,

I've created a set of troubleshooting instructions

that I've left over my website, in the how-to section,

so you'll wanna check that out.

On the control side, let's start with the Wink.

When you pair this in with the Wink,

you'll bring this in as a generic Z-Wave switch.

The downside here is that the Wink Hub 2

only supports full open and full close.

However, iBlinds is working with Wink

to open up the remaining features.

Okay, so let's gets this thing into the SmartThings Hub.

As usual, you're just gonna go

straight into your SmartThings app,

and you're gonna hit that little plus sign.

And then, we're gonna go back to the iBlinds unit there

and we're going to hit the Include button.

Okay, now SmartThings has detected it.

Just a quick rename.

Do the same thing as last time, Lab Blinds.

Done and save.

Okay, now we're gonna wait a couple of minutes,

and we're gonna let that do its autocalibration.

Sometimes if you're waiting a little bit too long

for this to go through its autocalibration mode,

you might want to give it a helping hand

by hitting that On or Off button,

and that's gonna get that thing started.

It's a beautiful thing.

To get full functionality within the SmartThings Hub,

you'll need to install the iBlinds Device Handler.

For those of you that don't already know,

a device handler is a custom piece of software

that allows the manufacturer to expose

additional functionality to the hub.

In the case of SmartThings, this will be the battery level

and the variable tilt settings.

I've left a link to the device handler

and how to install them in the description below.

Now, on the Vera side, it's pretty straightforward.

Full functionality straightaway,

no device handlers, no muss, no fuss.

When you bring in the device, you'll set it up

as a generic Z-Wave device.

It came in smoothly and it has all the features available.

You can see the full up, full down battery indicator

and the percent slider.

Using the Open and Close options

allows you to start the motion and then stop it.

There's also a link to my review of the VeraSecure

in the description below.

And, since this is now paired with my home automation hub,

we can create all sorts of cool scenes.

For example, tilt it to 75% in the morning

to let the light in, but I don't want the direct sunlight.

After noon, when the sun's out of the way,

you can open it up to 50% to let in more light.

And, at night, you can automatically close the blinds

30 minutes after sunset to keep

the neighbors from peeking in,

because that's how your neighbors are, right?

Overall, I think the folks over at iBlinds

hit a home run with this device.

I like the fact that it has the optional solar panel

and that it connects directly to my smart hubs.

And, since you're still here,

I'd like to take a moment to talk about Patreon.

Every little bit helps, and all the support goes directly

into making these videos for viewers like you.

I'm also making my DIY Smart Home Guy shirts

available over at LogoSportswear.

There's a link to my store in the description below.

Over time, I'll be making more options available.

So, keep checking it out.

You might just find something you like.

ARU SHAH AND THE END OF TIME (ARC REVIEW) | *SPOILER-FREE* | xreadingsolacex [CC] - Duration: 8:36.

Hello you gorgeous individuals, it's Kav here and today I'm going to be talking

about Aru Shah and the End of Time by Roshani Chokshi. Aru Shah and the End of

Time is a middle-grade fantasy novel based off of Hindu mythology that

follows the story of a 12-year old girl, Aru Shah, who finds out that she is a

reincarnation of one of the five Pandava brothers and, after finding that out, she

goes on a journey basically to save the world. I was lucky enough to receive an

ARC of this novel for my good friend who got it from the publisher--it's kind of a

long story, but I was lucky enough to receive an ARC of this novel--so of

course I read it. It has been a novel I've been anticipating for so long - it

was one of my five most anticipated reads of the year, so I really wanted to

read it, so of course I did. It comes out on March 27th and if you want to know

all of the different reasons you need to get this book, then definitely sit back

and watch this review.

Reading this novel, I basically thought about how

12-year old me might have had a very different experience had I had a novel

like this in my life. If I had seen a book like this talking about me, about

people like me, I may not have grown up ashamed of my heritage and my life and

it's something that still breaks my heart to this day that I ever even had

those feelings, but society told me that being Indian and being Hindu was not

good enough and a book like this would have changed all of that for me, so what

I am most excited for is for the Indian and Hindu kids and teens who are gonna read

this book and realize that they are good enough and realize that their heritage

is pretty cool because it is. But outside of my personal relation to this novel

and how this novel is a very important one, it's also just really good. From the

writing to the characters to the plot to every other aspect of it, it is

really good. So let's kick it off with the characters.

Our main character, Aru Shah, is a 12-year old girl who lies a lot and I really

liked that. I liked the intricate details Roshani wove into all of the

characters in this novel. Aru isn't necessarily our classic heroine, she is

different. She's not like a morally great character,

she is definitely without a doubt good, but as she's twelve, her priorities aren't

necessarily straight. So whereas at her core she is a good person, sometimes she

doesn't go about it the right way because, like I said, she lies a lot and

such. You know, being twelve, her main priority growing up was just to impress the

popular people in her class and because of her wish to do that, she essentially

starts the chaos that takes us on the journey in this book and I like that. I

like that she was a different protagonist than we really get to see

because she's still good, but she's good in a different way. And then we have

another primary character, Mini. She is part-Indian and part-Filipina,

while Aru is all Indian. Mini is much more of a classic heroine, but despite

that, she still has all these intricate details woven into her as well. She is

the type of person who basically thinks about how anything and everything can

kill you - touching that bookshelf can give you germs that could make you die -

that's kind of the type of person she is. Part of that is because of how much she

wants to go into medicine, that's her ultimate goal and it was nice to see

that difference because Aru never really talks about who she wants to be

or what she wants to do, but Mini has this clear set idea of what she wants

the rest of her life to be. And she's also really smart, she's a hella smart

character, much more book smart while Aru is kind of more street smart, so

the dynamics between the two of them were great and they are basically "soul

sisters" which is what they have referred to each other as through the book.

Because of them going on this journey together and because of

them essentially being sisters, what we get to see in this novel is girls

supporting girls. And as you all know, that's something that I love. I love

seeing girls supporting girls and that is what we see so much in this novel.

Throughout the novel it is the two of them fighting together - they are not going

at each other, they are fighting together and they are a team and I love that and

I love the friendship that forms between them because they get brought together

by all these chaotic circumstances, but then they end up being this incredible

team and I love it. And then we have many other supporting characters. We have Boo,

who is essentially their pigeon guardian. Then we have Urvashi and Hanuman, who

are part of a council that they have to kind of meet to prove they are

reincarnations of the five Pandava brothers. And we have all these other

supporting characters - some are good, some are more in line with the villain. All

of them had their own tone to them. All of them had their own personality and that

really showed through the book, so it was obvious that she took the time to really

make them each their own, even the characters they were only interacting

with for one chapter, even those characters had their own personality and

their own characteristics, so every character was different and every

character was themselves and that was one of the best aspects of this book. And

then of course there is the plot of this novel which is a huge part of it and I

loved the plot in this novel. Obviously I can't go too in depth with it as this is

a spoiler-free review, but one of the things that I think really contributed to how

much I love the plot was the pacing. And that's not something I talk about in my

reviews a lot, but it's something I noticed reading this book. It was paced

very, very well and because of that the plot played out well. The timeline of

this novel is done super well, we really get to see them go on their journey and

they have to make all of these different stops along the way in order to reach

their goal of kind of defeating the ultimate antagonist of this book and all

those different stops they make, like I said, they're paced well. They have enough

action in them, but there are enough breaks between them, so

I think that the reader gets a good sense of their journey and really gets

to go on this journey with them and because of how the pacing is done, it

makes the journey so much fun to go on. And speaking of that, all the different

stops they do have to make and the plot itself - it's also good. I love the

different stops they had to make because, like I said, I think those contributed

great action sequences to the book, they contributed high-end adventure and such,

but then they were also the breaks in between and there was also some funny

scenes in the book like because of the dynamics between the characters and such,

there were some really great lines thrown out that made the book funny in a way, so

everything just played out really well throughout the course of the book which

is something I loved. And of course writing wise I enjoyed it. I do think

that the dialogue was done really well. In terms of descriptions, I don't have

too many positives or complaints, but that in itself is a good thing because

oftentimes with the descriptions I do find things lacking, but obviously I

didn't find that here, so I think that in itself is a good thing. And like I said,

the dialogue - because of how each character had their own personality and,

like I mentioned, the funny lines that were thrown from character to character -

I think that the dialogue was done really well in this book. And going back

to plot for a quick minute, I love the way Hindu mythology was incorporated in

this book. It was so nice to read that, to see a story that resonated with me and I

think that this would be a good read for both Hindu readers and for non-Hindu

readers because for me, as a Hindu reader, it was nice to see kind of my culture

represented in this. *Hinduism is a religion, but I'm not necessarily a

religious person, I consider myself a Hindu more by culture, so that's why I'm

referring to it as my culture as opposed to my religion.* But I also think for non-

Hindu readers it can be a nice glimpse of something that may not affect your

personal life. So yeah the mythology, it was incorporated really well and I loved

how that played into the plot and into the fantasy aspects of this novel, so it

was just a really fun read all around. I mean, I have been anticipating this novel

for so long. Literally with every bone in my body I have wanted this novel and I

almost cried when this book was announced, so I have built my

expectations up very high for this novel and

I can say with full certainty it did not disappoint, it exceeded those

expectations. Those are all my thoughts on Aru Shah and the End of Time. I

hope you all enjoyed this video - if you did, please give it a like and subscribe

because that stuff makes me happy and go ahead and comment down below whether or

not you are going to be picking up this book when it comes out on March 27th and

I will leave links to where you can pre-order it in the description below, as

well as my Goodreads review of this novel. As usual, all of my social media

and my Goodreads will be in the description below. Thank you all so much for watching, I

hope you're having a lovely day or night wherever you are. Please remember you're

beautiful and you deserve the world and I will see you soon for a new video,

the second nerf is for the bulldozer balancing his main attack from 440 to
