Hi Besta airsoft team here i'm hugo B01
B02 Nunes. We are here today again
to do a review to a backpack
from warrior assault systems. The Pegasus Pack
with a 23 Lt capacity
let's see what makes it special
Once again a product from warrior. With the expected quality
from a military grade producer
500D cordura
the IR treatment like the Plate carriers
the itw buckles
it has the 3D mesh has you can see here
on the back
this mesh is much much better
comparing to the mesh of the plate carriers. because this is to carry more weight
it´s really padded
the shoulder straps with the same mesh
when it comes to backpacks
that is very important are the straps
sometimes you may see backpacks
on stores
and it may look that it has quality
but when we look closer
we see that the straps are not
padded it's just fabric and that's bad
these one's as you can see are a bit rigid
and they are padded
which helps with weight distribution
on your back. An this packs are
made carry a little bit more weight and these kinds of straps are important
for your comfort
so one way to see if a pack has quality
is to look to the shoulder straps
another important detail on the straps
besides the 500D cordura of the pack
are these reinforced areas
in 1000D cordura. Another detail that some
packs from other brands
don't have it´s the molle system
also in multicam some times
other packs have solid color molle
the pack is 100% water reppelant
The zippers and plastics
have lot´s of quality
The YKK zippers
it´s the standard for most brands
tha make military gear
other features...
the carrying handle
it's in 1000D cordura very resistant
reinforced threads in all points
that will be in more stress
other good details like
it has here
this hole that allows
for your hydration tube or
cables from your radio. On the sides it also has ports
so that you can have more options
with your hydration and wiring
some prefer on the right others on the left
one thing that i forgot to mention
the side pouches were added by me
so that i could have more capacity
so these pouches don´t come with the pack
the pack is more low profile from what you see here
it has these side buckles
so that...
you can compress the pack a bit more
or if want to carry
something on the sides like
a camping mat or small shovel
you can secure it here and the compression straps
allow you to make the pack more compact
more details...
as you can see here it has
a small velcro loop on the front to put a patch
a small loop nothing fancy about it
another interesting point...
the adjustments on the back
for the height of the shoulder straps
if you want them further or closer to the body of backpack
here we have the chest strap
so that you can carry the weight more easily
and it's adjustable in height
that's important because the closer you get the pack
to your body the less it will move on your back
so it's more comfortable. If you feel the pack "dancing"on your back
the whole time.
There is no quality backpack that will help you
if it's not well ajusted to you. It will be very hard on you
here you have...
this elastic bands
that all straps come with
so that you can roll them
and they will not be dangling around
it's nice to keep your gear well compact
so we can start by showing...
the interior of the pack
let's open the straps here
It has the clamshell opening
that means that it
opens all the way down
here's my sleeping bag
it can carry more of course
this backpack allows me to carry what i need
for 48 hours max
The gear that i need to sleep, food , water
I think it has enough capacity for that
here you have...
the compartiment to put your hydration
you can a put a 3Lt bladder
or more or even 2 bladders if you want
here we have two compartiments
two mesh pockets
the mesh allows you to see what is inside
they are big i have here some
extra gloves
here...
extra thermal clothing
for colder weather
here on the top a balacalva
if i need it
and here underwear
UNDERWEAR!
Think about it lol
and here more thermal clothing
so as you can see...
mesh pockets
nice to see what's inside a good detail
let´s close it
the zippers run smoothly
YKK zipper quality
now...
more compartiments
here this top pocket
An interesting compartiment
let's try to show you
here a simple pocket
to put ...
i have here note pad's
pen's etc...
on the front you lot's of organization capacity
a radio pouch
here... a pen pocket
here another one for anything that you want
here a bigger pocket
and once again
another mesh pocket where i have
flashlights, matches
diverse materials
so...
down here we have...
another compartiment
here i have a first aid kit
zip ties , string
so several items that you might need on the field
A big compartiment with elastic
with elastic ....
elastic pockets
so that you can retain more easily
your stuff
and...
here a small compartiment on the front
where you can store
for example i have cable for
cameras, charge your smartphone
i usually put here a powerbank
This backpack can satisfy
your needs ...
on the field.
You can carry stuff for 48 hours
it has great quality the price
is good because it's warrior
it cost me around...
130 euros
it depends where you get it
it can cost more or less
but once again
a pack with excelent details great quality
The threads, the buckles
I was very surprised when i got it because i bought without seeing it
and when it arrived
it was a lot better than i expected
there are other models
bigger and smaller ones.
The thing about backpacks
is to prepare it for the mission that your gonna do
or type of game
Know how much time it will last
if it is a 24 hour game or 48 hour
if there is going to be ressuplies (water, food)
that's very important when prepare your pack
and obviously
quality is important
because you're the ones that are going to carry it on the field
You have to see the shoulder straps
the quality of the materials
so that you can sapre your body on the field
this is the Pegasus pack by warrior. You wanna add something?
As we saw
Pegasus by warrior
i think there is nothing more to say about it
it 23 LT pack
as you saw B02 can put 40 or 50 lt (LOL)
he put's a hell of lot a stuff in there
This is really a great product
people sometimes ask if there are any 30 or 40 euros
backpacks out there that are good.
We always carry a lot of stuff
even for small games that are 1 day or 1 morning
we need so much stuff
batteries, first aid kits etc...
in the end all backpacks will do
but when it come to durability and comfort
those cheap packs will fail you
and following our way
of thinking.
You pay for what you get
buy only once really.
You should adjust you purchase
in terms of models, sizes
to the type of game
see whatt really matters
I think he is gonna take lots of showers on the field because he carries a lot of underwear
but really
warrior is a brand that is....
impressing us.
because of the price/quality ratio
well that's all, hope you liked the review
see you next time. Thanks!

Zenith Book Review! - Duration: 24:51.
Hey guys! I'm Lou and in today's video I'm going to be reviewing Zenith by Sasha Alsberg and
Lindsey Cummings. This book is about a crew of women who fly around the galaxy
being space pirates, until a mission goes wrong and they have to redeem themselves
and save the universe. It's marketed as Guardians Of The Galaxy sort of thing. I have
two things I want to say before I go into this review. And my review be split
into spoiler free and.... what's the opposite of spoiler-free?
Oh spoilers. This review be split into spoiler free and spoilers,
where I'll go through all my notes on this book. I'm gonna put is
here why just talk and then I'll go through my notes.
So the first thing I want to say is that I am a
big fan of Sasha Alsberg. I probably wouldn't have bought Zenith if she hadn't
have written it. Or if I had bought it I probably would have
dnf'd it. So from that you can guess that this video is going to be a
predominantly negative review Zenith. There are some good aspects to Zenith
and I will go into it. But overall it's gonna be a negative review. The
second thing that I wanted to say was that I did the terrible mistake of
reading a Mass Effect graphic novel before reading Zenith. For those of you
that don't know Mass Effect is a game universe
There have been four games published by EA and they're like triple-A
titles. They make loads of money and the world is just fantastic.
So I was comparing the masterpiece that is the Mass Effect universe to
Zenith pretty much the entire time I was reading this book. If anything that
probably helped with my analysis because I could compare a great thing to this
and see... not necessarily if it matches up but if it has the same foundations. I
probably wouldn't have finished this book if it wasn't for the fact I was
buddy reading it for my friend Emily. I probably would have DNF'd it and then did a
review on why I Dnf'd it. But then I'm glad I finished it, because
I'll get to that soon! I'll get to that in the review! Spoiler-free part of the review.
The first thing I'm going to be talking about is the writing of Zenith.
The writing of Zenith is not good. The first hundred pages are the worst. Like
you do want a book to get better as you're reading, but you need the book to
captivate the audience in the beginning. And lots of reviews that I've come
across, people have not managed to make past the 100 page mark. To be fair I
wants a DNF it about 100 pages and I'll give you my opinions. I think the main
failure with Zenith is the writing style. It's written in multiple point of views
but I can honestly not tell you how many points of views there are.. I think wait..
There's Andi. There's Dex. There's Valen. There's Lyra. Okay that's four. You have like
Klaren. Nor. Do you have Kalee? I feel like you might have Kalee but I'm not
sure. Actually I think there is six. You know it's bad when I can't even tell. So
there's six points of views. Which is fine because if you've read the book like Six
of Crows or A Game Of Thrones, then you know that multiple points of view...
like there's no limit to how many points of you should have or
you shouldn't have. But in Zenith the points of view are so short and they
disrupt the plot of the novel. Or sometimes they're completely repetitive because
all the characters are in the same situation, like in the same room or
something. You're just getting another perspective of the same event. Which is
fine if it's like a murder mystery but not if it's like a space battle just like... "Oh
okay." I feel like I'm gonna be quite salty
with this review, but like there are good parts. Remember there are good parts. When
I was reading Zenith I could not help but compare it to Six Of Crows, because
you have multiple points of view. But with Six Of Crows the points of view
really help the plot, the pacing, the fluidity. It's a benefit for Six of Crows
to be multiple points of views. Especially during the heist of Six Of
Crows when the characters are off doing different things.
Whereas in Zenith, the characters are pretty much always together.
Also with some on the point of view you don't know their significance until
literally 98% of the book completed. You have no idea what part they play until
maybe perhaps about halfway through. But it's kind of bad
contextually because that means you haven't set up the universe correctly
enough for us to know who's talking. There's a flashbacks within Zenith, but the
flashbacks tend to be situated in the worst of times.
For example there's a like a space battle within the first hundred pages.
This space battle is like space battle, flashback to something that happened 20
years ago, space battle and it's a bit like, "Why would you put the flashback
there?" It has no significance on the current scene and it ended up
disrupting the tension, the suspense, and it just made Zenith felt like a
broken-down car that just kept on stopping and starting. And I'm not the
only one who thought that. When I was discussing the book with Emily, as we was
reading this, she also commented on that. As I said before it takes a
hundred pages for the writing to get better. But once it's passed the hundred
page mark, I would consider the book to be almost like a three star, but then
things happen and then it just goes back down to two star and I wanted to DNF it.
Zenith is intriguing but not written well. I think that would just be
like the sum for this review. The next part of the review, I'm going to be
talking about the world building. The world building in Zenith is really
lacking and you can feel that throughout the book. But then the authors constantly
reference the stars, or something about space, and it's like we know that's in
space. We just have no idea what your surroundings look like. Or no context to
place them. I can't tell you what the Marauder looks like apart from a piece
of glass. Varillium. That's unbreakable. But I can't tell you what the insides
look like. It could literally just be a see through ship. When they visit the
planets... I think Adhira has got a lot of big
trees and a field of some sort of organic material.
Arcadia. I don't know. Like the descriptions aren't vivid or the adjectives they use have
no context, so it's like, "Okay I can't imagine that because I have no idea what
this is." Law and conventions and history isn't
really talked about. The history of the Mirabelle universe pretty much starts 15
years ago and that's all we know. We don't even know humans ever existed
in this universe, or if Andi is human or if Andi's a Arcadian.
You just don't know. And the aliens in this
book consists of like four or maybe like five races, and two of them sound so
familiar. I kept them getting Arcadians and Adhirans mixed up which are like
two different species. Adhirans are like peace, love and that sort of thing and
Arcadians are like a military dictatorship that rules the universe. And
you can really tell the influences on this book. If I had to write an essay on
this, I could probably support the fact that Zenith is influenced by Throne Of
Glass, Red Queen, Six Of Crows, Cinder, Game of Thrones, maybe ACOTAR, but
definitely Divergent. And when you get to those parts, you can just really feel
those influences because they feel like a lesser version of their counterparts.
And like I don't mind if the same things are used. I mean Red Queen does feel like an
amalgamation of other YA books, but it makes it unique. Zenith doesn't make it unique.
Oh one thing I do want to say about world building is we have no idea
what languages that people speak. Do they speak their own language? Do Adhirans and
speak Adhirian? Do Arcadians speak Arcadiaian? There is a reference to a great
universal dictionary, but what dictionary language is it in? Or if there's a
universal translator. And why is there unified language across the galaxy?
There's not a unified language in this world. Let alone a galaxy. And a reference to
the aliens is that they're all humanoid. There's no Hanar in Zenith. And hopefully
if I'm technical enough I'll show you a picture of Hanar from Mass Effect. But there's
no non-humanoid species mentioned. I mean there is like one mention but it's like
a reference to be more like a dragon. But there's like there's no aliens that you
would imagine to come out of Mass Effect or Star Trek. It's all just like humanoid.
Bulletproof. Scales that light up. This part I'm going to be talking about the
characters. So you have Andi. She is so inconsistent. I really
didn't like her. She is depicted as this killer who easily kills people. Basically
meant to be seen as like the best warrior in the galaxy, because she has
the best ship in the galaxy. But she's so inconsistent she's depicted to be a
murderer. And then she goes and has a guilt trip. Within every point of you that
you get of Andi it feels like she's got like dual personality disorder or
something. Because she easily kills, but then dances with the dead and like
draws notches on those swords to remember all the ones that she killed.
Which her swords would need to be incredibly long because in the beginning
she destroys two ship fulls of people. How many notches is that Andy? I'm like
getting more and more annoyed as I talk about this book. Then you have Dex. Dex I
actually really quite liked. This is an unpopular opinion.
I liked the comedic relief that he plays. There are some parts of him that I
was like... he didn't need to do. But there are times when his character is... not good.
There are times when he is arrogant, selfish, idiotic
within the book. It's like a love-hate relationship with me and Dex. With predominantly
liking him. It's near beginning where I disliked him the most. But then towards
the end I liked him. But then I really don't like the will/they won't they
relationship with Andi. How many times have I rolled my eyes? I felt myself roll my eyes
so many times. Who else should I talk about? Oh you have Lira. I didn't like Lira. She's annoying
because she's basically like a Vulcan and an Amity from Divergent.
Her species of people, as well as her. And Lira is also inconsistent like Andi.
But nowhere near as much as Andi. Andi is the most inconsistent character. I think
perhaps some of it may stem from there being two authors. Perhaps they would
have conflicting ideas. I did really like Valen though. Valen was one of my
favorite characters. And I'm actually rooting for him and if you for this book
then you know what happens to Valen and I'm actually rooting for him which is
kind of bad. I do like him. I wish there was more
development on Alfie the AI. But then he's also inconsistent. He has the
capabilities of an AI. He can sort of judge when people are feeling certain
emotions and he experiences emotions himself. Yet he also talks like a robot
and cannot get the context from conversations. All the other characters
are so undeveloped that I would struggle to tell you the basic information about
them. I know that Gilly is 13 years old and she's depicted as a sharpshooter who can
kill anything with ease and blow up things. And yet she's a kid and she can't
swear. But she can kill people. Breck is just bulletproof but we don't know why she's
bulletproof. Or what she's bulletproof against. And is there something she is
vulnerable to. Because Breck is described as bulletproof because she is a New Vedan.
New Vedan's are like the ultimate soldier. And during a battle scene they
all like huddle behind Breck because she has bulletproof skin. But I was like, "What are the
bullets made out of for her to be the best shield? Are the bullets like iron? Are they like
photons? What makes her so invulnerable?" This book needed a lot more
context. Now I'm going to go through my notes. So this would be the spoiler-y
section. So if you're here just for the non-spoiler-y parts... Bye. Like and subscribe.
If you like me... still after this video. So I have notes that's written all in this
book and I have notes here. I think I'm gonna go through the book and then I'm gonna
read through my notes and see there's anything else that I missed. On here green is
things didn't like. Pink is things that I liked and yellow, is few and far between,
are just comments on the plot. This book made me need to replenish my
supplies or green. Okay my edition is the UK Edition so I'll be
referencing pages. Page 23 Andi's point of view. It says, 'She was
frustrated and hungry, and thanks to the nightmares, reaching a level of exhaustion
that shouldn't have been humanly possible to survive.' Are there even humans
in this universe? Page 41. '"I don't want be taken again,"
Gilly whispered. Gone was the bloodthirsty little fairy.
In its place was a frightened young girl. She burst into tears, fat droplets
splashing on them dead metal at their feet. Breck dropped to her knees and pulled
Gilly forward into a crushing hug.' I was like "Why is this so contradicting?"
And what thirteen-year-old cries at a drop of a hat? 13 year olds are quite
intelligent. Although they probably would be scared if they knew that they could
possibly die. But I feel like Gilly acting more like a five-year-old in this
scene. Page 46 is where it's referenced that Breck is bulletproof, and I literally
wrote, 'What are bullets made out of for Breck to be bulletproof against it.'
Andi kills someone on page 47. It's like a random patrolman and it says,
'Silver blood exploded against the metal wall beyond.' If you've read a
popular YA novel, what reference makes you think of silver blood? Oh I did like
it when Brex. Brex? That's a combination of Dex and Breck. The names are so
familiar. I mean the names are so similar that I hate it. Oh there was
something I wanted to say about Lira that I forgot. Why does Andi shorten
Lira's name to Lir? No one does that. Why do you break up a two-syllable name to
like... Like you don't go up to an Amy and be like Am. So I liked Dex
when he managed to ambush Andi by getting her down the ladder because that
was quite cool. But also I didn't like Andi and I wanted her to die. By page 54, there's two repetitions
of the phrase, 'As your'. Lira says, 'As your second-in-command' and Kalee says,
something like, 'As my best friend'. I don't like that because who goes around
placing their worth in other people's lives. Like I don't go around and be like
"As your best friend. As my best friend." You don't do that. The only people that can do that is
that it's probably like mothers, and they're like, "As your mother you sound listen to me."
Luckily it doesn't repeat itself too much after this.
It's just Lira saying it. When you first meet... was it? General Cor... What's-his-name?
General... When you first meet General Cortas,
he literally keeps on repeating that he's a powerful man. This is page 55. He
says, "'I'm a very powerful man Androma."' When she discovers that he's behind
everything. And then on page 57, he repeats himself and says, "'I'm a powerful
man, Androma, but a desperate one."' If you're a powerful man you don't say
you're powerful. You're just are powerful and people know it. You don't need to tell them.
There's a description of Andi on page... not Andi. There's a description of Alfie
on page 87. It goes, 'The AI's face was white like the snowcapped mountains on
Solera. It had two eyes and a mouth, legs and arms, but besides that, it was absent
of any other humanoid traits.' I feel like humanoid is an Earth term.
So why did you use Earth terms?
Unless Earth did exist. Page 97. Andi... Andi asked Alfie a question she goes, "'Are you
incapable of blinking?"' And then Alfie replies, '"Since I'm not a living being, I
do not require eyelids to block damaging particles from entering my ocular lens.
This means I am incapable blinking, Androma Racella."' And then Andi's like,
'"Silence him, Dextro, before I do it myself.'" You literally asked him a question. It's
like asking someone how are you and being like shut up. Straight after they reply.
Oh on page 124 there's a plot one. Where
it's just like, 'I don't trust Soyina.' I expected Soyina to betray them but she
didn't really betray them. Page 128 is the unconsenting kiss. Which I didn't find
too bad, but I didn't agree of it. Because I had read reviews and watch reviews
before I read Zenith. People were saying about the unconsenting kiss and I
thought be really bad... but it's bad but it's not too bad. It's bad because it's a
unconsenting kiss but like I was expecting it to be like... bad. But then her
response is to throw like a table on him. Oh Andi threw a chair on him. Page 133.
It was a chair not a table. Oh this description. I've heard this
description talked about by other booktubers.
It's so bad that it's so funny. "One moment she looked purely Andi, angry as a wet
feline and terrifyingly beautiful." My cats aren't pretty when they're wet. page 204,
"Hope is a raging asshole." Page 221 is where Andi dances with the dead. Dead
people that she's killed. And like I literally found it so weird. I was like....
There's like ways to be guilt-ridden, and there's ways to be crazy. Like Dex says
somewhere in this book, everyone in the everyone in the Mirabelle galaxy is broken in some way.
And I was like yeah yep yep. Page 226 Dex tries to explain his part in their [Dex + Andi's] tragic
backstory and she doesn't let him speak. She's like oh yeah I'll give you five minutes.
And then he literally says one thing then she just goes off on him. There's
that lame reveal that it was a choice between Andi and his dad but then
his dad isn't mentioned before this or after this. It's just... there. Page 234 is the
rape of General Cortas. You don't need to use rape to depict her as a bad guy.
Page 238. Lira tries to convince Andi to forgive Dex.
She says, "Sooner or later, you're going to have to choose between forgiveness
or hate. And you and I both know which one is harder to live with."
It's like girl you literally said in the beginning that hate is not a strong enough
word for Dex. And now you're trying to convince Andi to forgive him. Everyone
accepts Dex way too easily. I said this on page 243. After like you know the dad
reveal it's like everyone just like, "Aww we like you. You can be a part of our crew
unofficially." Page 251, a prisoner cause Nor a Scnav. What's the significance of
being called a Scnav? You never know. Oh this a bit of banter that I liked.
This is around the area that it started to be decent. Like three stars. And this is
when the Marauder is literally crashing for a second time. You know the
indestructible ship. And it goes, "'Come on, baby," Andi said, patting the Marauder's dash as if
it would actually listen to her plea. "Coming!" an unwelcome voice came from
behind her. Andi let out an audible groan. "Get in
a seat, Dextro. Now!" "I'm trying to lighten the mood Androma. We all know Lira is fully
capable of handling this situation." "Thanks," Lira muttered.' I liked that. This phrase seemed
very familiar to me. Let's see if you can get it. "In this time of
darkness, they will find a queen able to guide them into the light." A certain
wizard maybe. Page 281. I did not like the phrase, "even the stars can bleed". No they
can't. Page 311 I said that Andi focuses way too much on the guilt of being a killer.
Because this is when they're like training and she just breaks down
and I just like rolling my eyes. Page 322 is when I was like annoyed that Arcadians and
Adhirans were so similar in name. Page 323 is the reference to the great universal
dictionary. Oh page 337 I got really annoyed at Andi because she was refusing
to think that Lira would ever leave the Marauders. "Especially now." Andi was just
really selfish in that moment. I did like the scene when Andi and Valen are talking about his art
on page 340. And he's talking about the colours and there being a million colours. I
like that scene. Page 358 is the reference to liquid heaven. I have no idea what
heaven tastes like. Let alone in liquid form. I'm being so salty. I'm so sorry.
On page 378 I said the pacing gets better. Page 413 I literally just said this...
Page 441 I came to the conclusion that I liked Valen. This is when Valen and Andi
were talking in Kalee's garden. Page 450 I came to a conclusion but I do not ship
Dex and Andi together. 494 I was really angry at Andi for
taking the knife out of her stomach. Cause that causes for you to bleed out. Page 499
it does not explain why Andi, and maybe Dex, I'm not sure about Dex got shot,
but it doesn't explain why Andi is immune to Zenith. Valen just knows that she
could be. Page 503 I've wrote a question why does Valen and Nor and Klaren
have the compulsion ability? Is it just like an ability? A evolutionary
trademark? Page 517 I came to conclusion that I will be picking up the next book
in my series because the ending is really good. So that was me
going through my notes in Zenith. Let me go through my notes in flashcard form.
I'm just going to be talking about anything that I mentioned in here that I did not mention in there.
In the beginning you don't feel a part of the crew because you don't understand the
banter. So you don't get the references and you don't get the context. Which is... which
happens throughout the book but you sort of get some of the banter sometimes.
The banter is some of the best parts of the book, but also it's some of the worst
because of the context. This was before page 23. I kept noticing the
writing style. I really disliked the amount of similes in the first 100 pages.
It was almost on every page. Oh Dex is the new Wolverine apparently because he
has like blades coming up with his knuckles. Breck has a whip which I
thought was very similar to Isabelle Lightwood but Breck doesn't use the whip again.
I felt like the alien abilities were like picked out of a hat. They weren't
really explained. I thought Gilly was a psychopath. From her descriptions she
sounds like a psychopath. I didn't like the mystery that they keep on giving us. It's
not explained why Breck doesn't remember her past, or why Gilly does not
want to remember her past. Oh I've got lots of headaches from this book.
All Gilly does is giggle and you really notice that in the first hundred pages. So that
was my review of Zenith. I hope that you enjoyed it. I don't know if I can say
that they enjoyed Zenith. Like I did in some parts, I didn't in
others. But I did enjoy it enough to want to get the second book. Would I recommend
it? No. But like I am intrigued. Maybe pick it up from your local library. And see if you like
it. I will support Sasha Alsberg in her other endeavours. And I'm really intrigued
to see what she will do with Project Red. I want to see if her writing will
grow. If the reason why the writing is so bad in Zenith her fault or if it's just the
combination of the two writers, because I haven't read Lindsay Cummings's work
before this. So I can't really say if it's her or not either. I'm sorry I threw a
lot of shade. Like I really wanted to like this book because it's like Sasha.
She's a massive part of the booktube community, but also I wanted Sasha to be
able to prove that booktubers and youtubers can write books. It's not just
a money-making scheme because of your audiences but because they can actually
write good books. But it like sort of failed...
Ah I feel so bad saying this. Thank you for clicking on
this video and watching I hope you would like and subscribe. And thank you and I
hope to see you soon. Bye!

Ralph Lauren Polo Ultra Blue (Review) - Duration: 7:09.
Which Ralph Lauren Polo Blue is your favorite? Hi and welcome back to Ellie Smells
and today I'm really excited to be bringing the latest fragrance from
Ralph Lauren, which is the Ralph Lauren Polo Ultra Blue. So don't forget to Like
and subscribe. But now on to a little bit about Ralph Lauren himself. so Ralph
Lauren was born in 1939 in the Bronx in New York and after a brief career in the
army, he then went on to become a salesman for Brooks Brothers which were
a glove manufacturers and then on to becoming a Salesman
for a tie manufacturers. He actually made and is responsible for, designing
the first kipper tie which is a really wide necked tie for men. Then in 1967 he
started the Ralph Lauren corporation. In 1968 he started creating for his
own line of fashion wear incorporating the polo into it as well, and his first
outlet was actually Bloomingdale's where he was the first fashion designer to
have his own boutique within that store. Then in 1986 he actually started his
own standalone stores. So that's just a little bit about where Ralph
Lauren comes from and he's now living the American dream, and a lot of people
aspire to that.
Now on to the bottle. A little bit about this, it reminds me of a hip
flask it's that sort of shape, it's got a lovely silver stopper but the
sides of the bottle are almost like a cobalt blue and then the main feature of
the bottle is like a very see-through lighter blue and it has the Polo logo
actually on the front. Just out of interest, the Polo logo is the second
most recognized logo in the whole world, coming after coca-cola. So that's the
bottle, quite easy to hold, nice and tactile. Now on to the fragrance, so
this fragrance was launched February 2018
and this one is classed as an aromatic. Let's spray.
The ultra blue is the third in the line from the Polo Blues. Starting with
the original Polo blue EDT and then to the Polo blue Eau de Parfum and this is
the latest release. When I smell this first of all, smells really fresh, zesty
and lemony and also with a salty hit. It just reminds me of Daniel Craig
coming out of the water in Casino Royale in those lovely little trunks! But the
top notes in this one are really clean. You've got lemon, you've got Citron,
you've also got a hint of that herb, which is the basil and also verbena.
Verbena is like a green leafy plant and the leaves smell of lemon. So really
fresh and summery and sunshiny. Then in the heart notes, you definitely get a
hint of these salty minerals and also there's something called ambertonic in
there, which is a two molecule creation which makes it warm, ambery and musky.
So that combined with the citrus and zesty top notes, make it really really
fresh and sort of zingy, lovely. And then in the base,
you've got the heavier notes of wood, such as cedar, you've also got musk and then
you've got a really, sort of like deep hit of the salt. So it makes it like a
really marine fresh, like a salty sea. Again ladies, it's just like Daniel Craig
coming out of the water. So I might have to make Tim spray some of this on him!! (laugh)
As this particular fragrance dries down, the salt tends to come through
more, the lemon tends to sort of like settle, so it just makes it warm, very
very clean, very subtle. I would say that this one actually, reminds both Tim and
myself, of the is Issey Miyake and also some of the Carolina Herrera fragrances.
But I also think it smells like the Allure Homme Sport for men, which has those
citric, zesty top notes as well. So if the gentleman is looking for something that's
going to be really easy to wear, something that's not going to be too
heavy for the summer, but just going to give him that really sort of light, nice
fresh, clean, sort of energetic fragrance this one's a really nice one to go for, I
think. Especially if he is a lover of the fresh, clean fragrances anyway. I
think that's going to do really well. At the moment because it's just literally
come in to stores, there is a promotion with the umbrella, which is a gift with
purchase which is a fantastic umbrella. We're all loving it. It's got like a
resin almost wooden handle on it. It's full-size so it's going be ideal for
those spring/ summer showers. So, if you're fortunate enough to
be anywhere near a department store where you can actually find this, and
you're thinking about buying it, Go and make your purchase, so that you get
your free gift which is fantastic. We did actually do a bit of a comparison,
between the new Ultra Blue and also the Ralph Lauren Polo Blue EDP. Now the EDP version
has more spices in it, such as Clary Sage, Cardamom which make it warmer more spicy.
So definitely, I think if the gentleman likes something which is going to last
on his skin longer, sort of have more impact, spicier, fresher the Eau
de Parfum would be the one to go for. After trialling these, Tim originally
liked the Eau de Parfum but then going back to it, he liked the way that the
Ultra Blue settled on his skin once it is completely dried down. Basically
it's whatever their preference would be, but both of these, the gift with
purchase, if you were to buy one you would get the umbrella. So always really
good to sort of like compare and try them on the blotter and on the skin, and
hopefully, the gentleman in your life would like one of these. That's it
for now anyway on Ellie Smells, don't forget to Like and subscribe and check
out my other videos. I'll say bye for now and enjoy your Easter weekend. Bye. So
Daniel is that a wrap? Oops! sorry...Tim.

Spurr's Big Fix™ Antiseptic Spray Review - Duration: 1:21.
JESSICA: Hi, I'm Jessica from Product Development,
and today I'm reviewing Spurr's Big
Fix Antiseptic Spray. This spray is a really well
rounded product that I love having in my grooming box.
I use it for hoof issues like thrush.
It's also great for a variety of skin problems.
It doesn't stain the barn floor. It has a nice smell.
I like the all-natural ingredients and it doesn't seem
to sting my horse's skin. The ingredients include
tea tree oil, menthol, eucalyptus
and other essential oils. The other nice thing about
this spray is that it's gentle enough for everyday use
and it can also be used on dogs. I really like the spray formula
because it's a little bit easier to use than ointments
in some situations. I also find the spray
particularly handy when you have a horse with thrush
in the central sulcus of the frog cause you can get
that sprayer right in there and get the liquid
into that deep part of the frog that can sometimes be
hard to reach. This spray is perfect for every barn
and every horse owner to have on hand.
The other nice thing about this spray
is that the ingredients are really nice for horses that get
skin irritation from bug bites so you can keep it on hand
as a nice summer spray, as well. I'm Jessica, and Spurr's Big Fix
Antiseptic Spray is the most well-rounded skin and hoof care
product in my grooming tote.

Do you think it is going to be good?
Let's check it out!
Let's go, guys!
E: This actor,, he is great!
L: Holy cow! V: Whaaat?!
L: He kinda looks like Val Kilmer.
E: He looks like more Matt Damon.
L: Look! The blue girl in the beginning!
V: Oh! Is she the blue one? L: Yeah.
E: Oh so it's an immersion thing.. he is not an actor then.
L: Like Total Recall?
E: Yep, kinda.
V: Chewing Gum
L: What a jerk!
L: There's always someone like that..
V: How rude!
L: Aww my God..
V: Is he going to lose her?
V: Really?
L: I'd probably do the same a few years ago..
L: The villain of his imagination,, seems to be that director.
V: Oh! His partner? L: Yeah.
V: Aaah!
E: The partner wasn't one of his crew? The one who was the suck up?
L: I think he is the villain..
L: Or that guy who.. E&V: Yeah!
V: The one who was making fun of him. E: I think the villain is the one of the bag.
E: The one who left his bag on the way.. V: Yeah, it's probably him. L: Yeah.
V: He lives pretty well, huh!
L: Yup
L: Looks at his monitors!
V: Milk! E: See! You gotta have a minibar!
L: SO he has 2 monitors and 4 mini ones! Did you see? V: Yup!
L: Programmers..
E: Usually a programmer uses only one monitor. V: Really?
E: It's easier to focus after all.
L&V: Yeeah, true! That's him!
V: Everything he can't be {in real life}, he is there..
V: I prefer his other personality :P
E: Typical bully of the internet. L: Yup
L: The virtual Batman
V: Wow.. L: What a jerk..
L: Aww my God..
V: Go with her!
L: You are the man!
L: Oh! Solid Snake here!
E: She's kinda right lol!
V: But she can fall in love with him..
L: So his code is sublime!
E: He really looks like Matt Damon!
V: Do you think he will want to take revenge on that woman?
E: Naaah
V: No? Only in the program.. E: Nope!
V: Holy freaking cow!
E: Or not lol!
V: He wore some gloves!
L: Kind of Bourne Identity?
V: Whaaat!
V: Girl's coffee..
L: WTF!?
E: He is probably going to add her in his game.
L: Oooh!
E: Scary!
E: 16 hours?!
V: Gee..
E: So,, this girl talks to him like that and he is the owner of the company!? V: Yes. It appears so lol!
E: Why he doesn't work on his codes? He seems to do nothing over there..
V: He is the Steve Jobs!
E: He is there stalking the girl all the time.. the other one is Steve Jobs.
V: That's what I was saying.
V: He works too!
E: He doesn't seem to do a thing there!
V: Aww that's scary!
E: You are mine!
V: In the game, right? E: Yes.
L: She could be his love in real life too.
E: That's her indeed.
E: Looks like they don't have much notion of things,, they seem to believe they're real.
L: You need that for sure!
V: Gee!
V: I don't think that it's the right way to conquer the heart of a lady xP
L: Looks like a metalhead with a gun.
V: Is it really the bag guy?
E: I guess so!
L: Yeah,, I think he is the one that dude hate the most.
V: Oh, yeah!
L: Oh God,, that sucks!
V: Oh! That's the monster!
V: Look! The monster is waiting too lol!
L: Even the monster wants to go home lol!
L: Gillian?
E: There must be a way to hack the system..
E: The girl is a programmer, right?
L: The problem is that it's an offline system.
E: It's in his computer.
E: They could try to destroy the program. L: That's true.
L: OMG..
L: He is going to kiss all the ladies!
V: That's why he added her in the game lol!
L: So they live there even when he stops to play..
V: Yup!
L: Wow..
L: Does he know that?
E: No.. They are just a copy of the person.
E: The person is living normally outside of the game.
L: No. I'm talking about the programmer..
L: Does he know that these guys are like this? That they're just acting in front of him?
E: Yes, yes.
E: He forced the girl to play a role after all.
L: I didn't imagined they're still "living" after he logs out.
E: Yeah. L: It wasn't explained that well.
L: Oh boy!
E: This episode is kinda predictable :P
L: His biggest mistake was to put a programmer into the game..
L: Stupid move..
E: This guy is a programmer too, right? But she is better,, obviously!
V: Myself!
L: Me!
V: Is she going to talk to him about it?
L: Shoot! No..
L: Everyone is going to suffer..
V: Hobby?!
V: Oh, oh! Not really!
V: WTH?!
E: Oh my God..
E: They forgot to tell her that she can't talk to him about it..
V: Aaaah.. true thing!
V: He is the person she trust the most over there.. E: And they sent such a crappy message..
V: She managed to do the hardest thing..
E: But how are you going to tell someone about it.. with 140 characters..
E: He is the evil Matt Damon lol! V: Yeah xD
V: See? You have to stay in line! E: *nods*
E: Because deleting there is not enough. V: Yeah. L: It never ends after all.
E: She really needs to find a way to talk to herself.
L: This guy likes it a lot huh!
E: He enjoys something really boring lol! What the hell..
V: This background music lol!
V: Doesn't he find it weird? L: He is a genious but..
V: She changes her attitude out of the blue!
L: He could be super unexperient with women or,, I have no idea lol
E: After he changed the other woman into a monster..
E: But it's not her,, she needs to talk to herself who is outside of the game.
V: I agree.
E: It was just for that.
E: The one who is outside is going to solve the problem.
E: Except the fact that she doen't have those parts {in this world}..
V: She seems to have the bust at least.
E: WTF.. L: Oh my God..
V: Oh oh..
L: Actually,, I've watched 2.. E: What?
I've watched 2 episodes. That one of the hacker episode..
E: Oh I see,,
E: The episode they order people to do things.. V: Ooooh yes!
V: She is p¡ss3d lol!
E: I guess the actress didn't enjoy that hahaha!
L: What a weird play..
V: Whaat?
V: He is going to take the pizza,, and,,
L: While he is going to take the pizza..
V: Gee.. she will have to be such a ninja then!
L: Solid Snake I'd say!
V: Wow L: Gee,, that's insane!
E: It's me when I'm spleeping.
V: That's true lol! But not like that xD
L: She will try to take the DNA stuff inside the minibar while he is going to take the pizza I guess.
E: She is going to take the DNAs.. L: His apartment is huge, huh!
V: True.
E: .. in the minibar.
L: %&@*=
V: Go, go, go, go, go!
L: Hurry up!
V: Take everything,, just take everything from there!
E: Except yours!
V: Can you imagine if it was true? xD
L: She became the commander already!
V: What? E: She changed his connector thingy..
V: Oh.. L: Not sure what is going to do but..
L: All I know is that she switched his connector.
L: Or she hacked something and threw a virus,, I don't know..
E: haha Blowing stuff since 90's
V: Since forever, right! xD
V: Gee.. oh, oh!
E: It's obvious!
V: Stop working!
E: He has to go back
V: Ooooooh!
L: Didn't you think about this possibility? For god's sake.. E: Aaaah....
E: They can't kill themselves in the space?
L: The dude hit his head 500 times and didn't got a scratch!
E: But if they go to the space,, the boy didn't die in the space?
L: Because he wanted him to die. He wanted it to happen..
L: If they go there on their own,, I don't think something will happen..
L: Yeah!
E: That's neat!
E: Is someone actually going to enter in his room?
V: Gee..
E: He is going to die of dehydration..
V: Do you think so? E: Yep.
L: They are going to shut down the company,, the CTO was the first victim of the game!
E: I don't think it's going to happen,, the other dude will try to cover-up..
V: Guys! What's your thoughts about this episode?
L: It's the 3rd episode of Black Mirror that I'm watching and I found it pretty cool!
E: It's more light comparing to the others. V: Yup.
E: And predictable.
E: There were some.. V: Yeah,, but I didn't imagine that he was going to die in the end..
L: Yeah, I didn't expect that too.
V: I don't know.. from all of the episodes that we've watched.. this one is my least favorite.
E: Yes.
L: The other episodes are better than this one then?
V: Yes. I liked the other episodes more than this one. L: I will enjoy this serie then. E: Yeah. but I didn't like the episode about the game..
V: Which one? E: In fact,, it's not that I didn't like,, I found it weaker than this one.
V: Which episode about game? E: The horror one.
V: Oooh, I see! E: The army against the "aliens" one too.
E: Not good.
V: This one is my least favorite.
E: I liked this one more than those 2 that I just mentioned.
V: Hmm..
E: But this episode ain't bad! It's good.
V: It is good but I'm trying to tell is that usually most of episodes are splendid!
L: Did you guys liked the 2 episodes that I've watched?
V: I liked them a lot!
L: The hacker and the android? V: Yes! Both { the hacker and android}.
E: The Android one is really great! V: Yes! The Android one is on my favorite list!
E: The hacker episode is?
V: That one that the hacker gets the rotten secrets of the people.. E: Oh yeah, that's true! I was talking to him.
L: It's an insane episode! Holy cow! V: Yup!
L: I didn't understand a thing though,,
L: The girl submitted to the captain to turn the table, right? And they just run away?
E: Yes. They now have an entire universe to explore..
E: they're just in another system now,, inside the update.
V: And now they have the control of themselves.
L: But,, do you think that guy is going to die or not?
E: He died.
V: Really?
L: If someone finds him earlier,, E: Since he doesn't have friends,,
V: Nobody is going to check him. E: nobody is going to see him.
E: And when someone finds him,, he'll be already dehydrated and dead.
V: He was kinda drooling already.
E: Yep, he was already kinda dehydrated.
E: Time will pass by and he will eventually die.
V: Hmmm..
L: For example,, if you guy are playing the game,,
L: He doesn't order a pizza like he always does,,
L: or he ordered on purpose,, so he can wake up..
L: If he,, if nobody interrupts him,, he'd eventually be in danger, right?
L: Or there's something that would warn him?
E: No,, he has the notion of time, right?
E: However, he could lose the notion of time and die like so many other people out there..
E: And there's people who dies and it's not even total immersion..
E: they play the game for 1, 2, 3 days without eating..
V: Holy cow!
E: There's so many cases,, haven't you ever heard of it?
V: Nope. L: World of Warcraft is the champion of it.
V: Seriously? E: There must be so many cases in China..
L: Talking about World of Warcraft.. There's like at least 2 people who died because they over played..
L: I'm not saying that the game killed them though.
V: They forget to eat? L: I have no idea!
E: They keep on playing.. L: Don't eat or sleep properly,,
L: They accumulate junk inside of their bodies,, and then sh¡t happens.
V: Gee..
E: They're already not in good condition, so,, V: Hmm..
L: Dude,, I enjoyed it!
V: So there's someone who really liked,, someone who liked,, and I kinda liked it. L: No dude,, it's good to start that way,, from the worst.
L: It's not like Daredevil or Punisher,, do you get it? V: Yup.
E: I found it cool,, but it's so stupid at times.. V: Lol
E: The 2 characters,, the way the girl deal with the situation.. And the guy,, he is such an ass.. V: Yeah..
V: He shouldn't be like that, right? E: Just because he is anti social,, he doesn't need to be a jerk..
V: Guess he is like that because he is so oppressed,, and that's the way he found to unburden his feelings?
L: Not to mention the initial concept,, it begins very Black Mirror-ish..
L: with the guy being wronged,, having hard times.. E: That is Black Mirror! V: Yeah..
L: people bullying him,, and then the guy becomes an ass.. V: Yes! That was kinda..
L: There's no way to justify it.. really!
L: I don't know.. E: There's many people like him.
E: Not in the same level but.. V: Online?
E: Yes. Depending on the game, you act like that. V: Yes..
E: Like a game you are the villain,, V: I see.. I don't like to play the villain xD
E: I'm just saying that you don't need to search that further,, if you think that way. V: Hmm
E: What sucks is that he created a copy of someone..
V: Yes! E: But if the characters of the game weren't a copy with no consciousness,, would that be okay?
V: I don't think it's okay..
E: The people who plays as villains in the games are unhealthy?
L: That's an interesting question to the people who plays RPG.. V: Yeah.
E: The day that you can do the immersion will come and the person will act like an ass and feel the.. V: Power?
E: Yeah,, they will feel like it is real. V: Hmm
E: And because of that,, Can we blame?
L: But from what I saw,, he seems to enjoy to act a role. V: Yep.
L: So an actor who plays a villain is a bad person?
E: In his case,, the thing that can be judged is the fact he stole the DNAs and added the people to the game.. making them feel they were really there.
V: Without their permission, forcing them to be there. E: Yes.
V: Yeah, that's wrong.
L: In the beginning I thought that Matt Damon,, sorry I forgot his real name..
L: I thought that he didn't know the people were suffering.. You know?
E: No. He knew.. and it was actually one of his pleasures..
L: At first I thought that he didn't know,,
L: but then I saw that he really knew and was using it to terrorize them. V: Yeah.. to torture them.
V: What is the score for this episode?
L: Comparing to everything I've seen? xD
L: This is the 3rd one that I've watched and I found the others better. V: I see.
L: But I liked,, I dunno, I'd give it a 7.5?
V: *nods*
E: Only 7.5?
V: Yeah, I thought that he was going to give an higher score lol!
L: It's because I liked the other episodes much more! V: Much much more then.
L: Yup. I enjoyed them a lot! V: I was going to give a similar score too lol!
E: I give 7.0! It's enough.
V: As for me,, I'd give a.. E: 10!
V: Not 10! I told you all before that it was the episode that I didn't like the most and you guys gave the score I was going to give..
E: It doesn't matter,, if you find the others 10,, you can give 7.5. V: Yes! So I'm going to give the score 7.5.
L: I'm like the passing score.
L: I give the score and you guys lower the average! E: I was thinking of giving 7.
V: Yes, exactly! All the episodes for me is like 10 or 9.5, so.. L: I'm like ENEM {National High School Exam}.
V: And this one is like 7.5 for me but it's still a good episode.
E: If it was Star Wars my score would be higher but it's Star Trek.. V: Whaaaat?!
Well,, that's all for now, guys!
I hope you enjoyed the video and tell me your thoughts about this episode!
I want to know if you enjoyed it or not, okay! Let me know in the comment section!
We are going to do another reaction now!
See you all in the next video!
Big kisses and mata ne~!
Say "Mata ne~" everybody!
E: Mata ne~! V: Mata ne~!
L: Isn't mata dez {kill 10} that you said?
E & V: It's "Mata ne~"! L: Oh! Mata ne~!
See you soon!
E: Good bye!

Mesa Boogie Nomad 100 + Celestion V30 & G12T75 - review - Duration: 10:36.
Hello my friends !! How are you doing? Alright !
Doing another video about amplifiers, speakers, gears and related ...
This time I'll talk about this amplifier that came to replace some tubes ...
here is it ... Mesa Boogie Nomad One Hundred ... 100 Watt amp
I would even dare to say that this amplifier is a low-budget Mark V version ...
because they both have the same panel layout ... although this amp is older than Mark V
The factory took advantage of the layout of this very cool amp
So it is basically a 3 channel all tube amp, like the others Mesa/Boogie
100 Watt amp with 4x6L6 on power, diode rectifier and 5x12AX7 tubes on preamp
Accutronics spring reverb (no reverb tube)
some features: clean channel with pushed switch
Overdrive Channels 2 & 3 with vintage/modern switch
and the famous footswitchable 5-band graphic equalizer
Solo knob adjustment (footswitchable) to increase volume on live performance
Rear panel: Speaker out, parallel FX loop, independent reverb per channel, 100/50 watt switch
recording/phones jack and speaker mute ... 6 button footswitch with DIN-7 pin cable
So ... stop talking and let's hear it !!
My rig: Gibson Les Paul Studio, Harley Benton 2x12 Speakers
Celestion V30 with Sennheiser E609 mic and Celestion G12T-75 with Samson mic
Starting on clean channel ... I'll not change the adjustments while playing
I'll just turn on and off the eq on the footswitch to show how does it sound
So ... lets hear it !! Clean without eq first
Turning on the Eq (audio missed !!)
That was the clean channel ... now I'll play the second channel on vintage mode ok?
then I'll try the channel 3 on modern mode to show you how it sounds
first without the equalizer and then with it
a little reverb at the end ... on channels 1 and 2 the reverb is stronger
on channel 3 on vintage ... sorry ... modern mode
reverb is less effective even because this channel proposal is more modern and dryer
channel 3 without EQ and then with EQ
light reverb
we can see that the proposal of this amp is clearly different from rectifiers .. single, dual and triple
his sound is very smoothly and a non agressive type
even in modern settings
I'll vary the EQ controls on this channel to hear the variations on his frequency range
so ... we've heard how does his crazy EQ works ...
changes a lot the final sound ... let me return to clean channel
I'll do a fast test on the other channels modes ... I'm on clean channel now
switching to pushed mode ... and decreasing the volume
I'll do the same on channel 2 ... it's on vintage mode and I'll change to modern
without and then with EQ
on channel 3 I'll do the opposite ... it is on ...
... on modern then I'll change to vintage mode
ops ... wrong knobs ...
from modern to vintage ... let's hear it ... without EQ and then with it
nice ... on vintage mode the reverb sounds better
I'll play some dry chords to hear the reverb on vintage and modern ... check it out
less reverb on modern ... it's related to the channel mode
finally ... a very cool amp ... lots of sounds, versatility
cheaper than a new Mark V for example ...
and works really fine with good speakers and nice guitars
you can get a great Mesa Boogie sound ... cool clean
setting your sounds !! Ok my friends?

Fools in April (SpongeBob review) I Episode 1 - Duration: 3:27.
Hey everyone!
Julian Carraway here and today throughout my channel, I'll be talking Nickelodeon every
Sunday's, Tuesday's, and Thursday's at 12pm PST so stay tuned for that.
In today's video, I'd be talking about SpongeBob's "Fools in April" episode that premired April
1st 2000.
I will be talking about my likes/don't likes about the episode.
What I like about that episode is that SpongeBob is in a great mood.
He loves the holiday and just wants to get in laughs by pranking people.
What I don't like is that Squidward is a mean ol' grouch.
He is one in every episode, but in this one he pranks SpongeBob so hard that SpongeBob
starts crying.
I feel bad for the sponge.
It's ok though, because at the end of it all, Squidward apologized and that was it.
Sorry this episode was short, but that was all I wanted to talk about.
Anyways, I hope you really enjoyed this episode.
If you so, leave a like, comment and subscribe.
My socials are in the description below so if you want to follow me, please do so.
I hope you have a fantastic easter and prank everyone you see.
Julian signing off in 3,2,1, 0!
I wrote alot on this paper.
This is my script that I read off of.
Well, I didn't read off of it.
I read it a few times and I put it down and I looked at the camera and started talking.
I didn't write everything that I said I left out 3,2,1 and the bottom where I said "Sorry
this video was short".
But overall, I said everything exact that was on the page.

Lighthouse AI Camera Review: Voice Search, 3D Sensing, and AI in Action - Duration: 5:00.
The Lighthouse AI camera is an indoor home security camera that lets you search footage
google style and uses a 3D time-of-flight sensor to detect activity.
It's big, unique, and pricey but are the camera's features enough to justify its price tag?
Lighthouse claims that they provide the right stuff, right out of the box.
And this is true.
For $299, you have access to several features including video streaming.
Lighthouse has a rather narrow 112° field of view, but if you choose to use the included
stand, you can tilt it to get the view you want, or you can purchase a wall mount for
$29.00.
The camera streams in FHD 1080p during the day and at night.
Compared to Nest Cam Indoor, Lighthouse can hold its own, but it lacks digital zoom, and
the smaller viewing angle is noticeable.
At night, I wasn't as impressed with the camera's video quality.
I tested in my usual spot, and the picture was washed out, especially when compared to
other cameras like Nest and Canary.
Apparently, the whiteness of my couch was blinding the camera at night so during the
second week of testing; I tried a new spot.
Moving the camera to a new location improved the camera's ability to see at night, but
you shouldn't have to move a camera to get it to work properly.
Out of the box, Lighthouse also offers true two-way audio.
You press the button once, and you can talk and listen via the mobile app.
The speaker has one volume level, (but it's loud enough and has a rich, deep sound).
Plus, it has a siren, which you can manually trigger from the mobile app
if activity is detected using Lighthouse's 3D time-of-flight
sensor.
The sensor maps your home in real time.
If it notices large, moving, 3D objects, it will send the info to the cloud for processing
and take action if needed.
For free, you'll also have access to a 1-day video history, privacy mode, which ties into
geofencing, family and guest control, as well as video search, but I don't recommend that you
use the camera for free.
I recommend that you add Lighthouse AI service
which is $10 per month, or you can pay a onetime $200 fee.
AI service adds AI which allows the sensor to further analyze 3D movement and distinguish
adults from children from inanimate objects.
The first week I tested Lighthouse in my usual spot, and the camera did poorly.
Night vision uses the same infrared light used for 3D sensing, so my couch was blinding
the camera's night vision as well as its 3D sensor.
In this week one clip, you'll notice that the halo, which marks 3D activity, doesn't
surround me until I'm about seven feet away from the camera.
In this week two clip, you'll see that the detection range has increased tremendously.
In theory, the 3D sensor can see almost 23 feet using a 95-degree field of view.
In reality, distance is contingent upon several factors including room layout and ambient
light.
If it does detect something, it will send an alert or, as Lighthouse calls it, a ping.
Think of Pings as custom push notifications.
Most cameras will alert to all motion events or all person events.
Lighthouse lets you get more specific.
For example, "Ping me if you don't see John by 4 pm," or "Ping me if you see an unknown
face."
If you get a lot of false alarms caused by pets or lighting changes, this feature could
be your saving grace.
Teaching Lighthouse to recognize a face takes time.
Lighthouse acknowledges that it needs to see about forty pictures of a user before recognition
becomes reliable.
Fortunately, teaching the camera is as simple as tapping your picture and your name.
Related to Pings is a feature called Ask Lighthouse, which is my favorite Lighthouse feature.
From the app's ask screen, you can Ask Lighthouse to scrub your security events.
For example, we'll ask Lighthouse, "Have you seen any children?"
You'll see here that Lighthouse has returned multiple results labeled as children, and every single
time, I'm included.
And while I'm flattered that it thinks I'm so youthful, I'm not impressed.
You can search known people, unknown people, adults, children, and pets using time and
date, but that's it.
The good news here is that it's still an incredibly useful feature.
And though it often delivered more footage than I needed, it also consistently delivered
just what I needed.
If I had this camera a few months ago when I tested indoor cameras, I would have ranked
it fourth, which is below Nest Cam but above Canary.
Lighthouse compares best to Nest Cam IQ, which I tested and returned because I didn't feel
like it added enough value to justify the additional cost over my Nest Cam Indoor.
The upfront cost of Lighthouse, as well as long-term costs, factored into my decision,
but also performance.
Even after moving the camera, things were hit or miss at times.
I think the value of Lighthouse is in family monitoring.
If you want a camera that will tell you if your kids come home from school with a few extra friends in tow
or maybe one that'll tell you if your grandmother hasn't left her bedroom by 9
am in the morning, Lighthouse is the camera for you.
And now, the moment you've all been waiting for let's give that Canary View away shall we?
I think this is the winner
Jarrod Griffin..who says, "Pick me, pick me."
Well Jarrod, there you go, lucky guy.
I will send you a message via YouTube, and get this camera out to you. I hope you love it!
And I'll see y'all soon!

Realacc Real1MS FPV Carbon Frame - Review - Duration: 4:06.
Hello everyone, I'm Mirko, and today we'll see this Realacc frame for FPV drones
This is the 140mm Real1MS, if you want buy it find the link in the description.
Inside the package, in addition to the frame
we find a velcro for the battery, a battery strap and a guide on how to assemble it.
The arms and brackets are 2.9mm thick
the other carbon parts are all 1.5mm
These aluminum parts are 2.3mm thick
Now let's assemble the frame, let's start by connecting motor supports to arms using the long screw.
We connect two supports with the arm facing on the left and two with the arm facing right
Now we connect the lower part to the arms, we will need 8 long screws for fixing.
Let's remember to put the arms with the screw facing inwards.
Once the arms are fixed we can move forward.
Now let's assemble the main body, let's take 6 small screws, the stand off and these two carbon parts.
After assembling the main body we can continue
remember to put the antenna holder down.
We connect the lower part to the main body, we will need these stand-offs and 4 small screws
We have finished once the two parts have been fixed
let's remember to put the screw outside and the standoff inside
These arms are for reinforcing the frame and must be fixed with motor screws
The weight is 47.4g
As we said the diagonal of this frame is 140mm, the propellers to be used are 3 inches.
Two blade are perfect, if you want a flight slightly more aggressive you can use tri-blade.
Recommended engines for this frame are from 1306 until 1606
I will use 1407 - 3600KV for this build
Diagonal of the motor housing is 12mm
The frame base is wide and we can use a flight controller with 30x30mm or 20x20mm holes
FPV CAM supported are those of a mini type.
Micro like this turn out to be too small to be fixed
To conclude this frame did not convince me 100%
especially for screws kit supplied.
Some screws, like the internal one of the arms and the one that fixes the main body, in my opinion are too short.
The standoffs are of very poor quality and I struggled to fix them
because the screw had difficulty to insert itself into the thread.
In addition, no screw are provided to fix motor's reinforcement arms.
This is a problem because it is difficult to provide such long screws with the motor
in fact the total thickness is 5.2mm
As for the frame, once assembled, it remains quite rigid and this is a positive fact.
This was my review of the Real1MS

[4K the-robot Review] Sigma 150-600mm f/5-6.3 DG HSM Contemporary - Duration: 4:41.
The Sigma 150-600mm f/5-6.3 DG HSM, is the longest lens ever tested on Lens Data. It
goes considerably farther to shoot sports, landscapes and wildlife, made for those situations
when we can't get close to our subjects. At 10.4 by 26 cm of 1.8 kilos, it is indeed
large, a requirement for the extreme focal length.
In your hands the modern Global Vision Contemporary design resembles the Sigma Art series, with
an all black, rubberized finishing, with white lettering. Being a variable lens, Sigma gave
special attention to the zoom ring, with a large 6cm rubber piece in the center barrel;
exactly where your fingers rest, when you're supporting the camera. The zoom mechanism
is a single cam, and expands the lens from 26cm to a lengthy 35cm. It can be used in
two ways: turning the ring, with a long 160º; or by hand, literally pulling the inner barrel.
At the rear, the manual focusing ring is apparently thought as a secondary addition, once it's
ergonomics are bizarre. Thin, low and relatively tough, this ring seems more as a not to be
used by accident feature, than an useful one. Besides being thin, it's actually quite
precise, with no play, featuring even a manual override mode, to compensate for the auto
focus motor at any time.
Inside, Sigma employed the latest Hyper-Sonic Motor, faster and more precise. To shoot landscapes,
it's fast and precise with top of the line cameras. The motor is quick, certainly capable
of following moving subjects.
Also, Sigma couldn't leave its optical stabilizer out, mandatory to shoot at telephoto distances.
It's modern, fast, silent and, most importantly, configurable by the USB dock.
Finally at the front, the 150-600 accepts incredibly large 95mm filters; massively fragile,
but allowing for circular polarizers. They attach to a plastic thread, that itself sits
inside the included-in-the-box lens hood; a plastic piece that adds 8.5cm, for a full
43cm lens. And at the rear, the tripod collar is removable, considerably reducing the lens
size. The metal mount features a rubber gasket against water and dust, although Sigma clearly
states it's not a weather sealed lens.
With a 20 elements in 14 groups optical formula, one FLD, and three special low dispersion,
the Sigma 150-600 is an optical surprise, on par with much more expensive lenses. It
is incredibly sharp around the center frame, with great resolution; the edges display a
great deal of vignetting, given the very tight fit of elements; and the aberrations are kept
to a minimum.
While the center frame do show a greater degree of resolution than the edges, it's only
noticeable on shallow depth of field images, when the subject shouldn't be around the
edges at the first place. To shoot landscapes, usually at f/8 and f/11 for longer depth of
field, this zoom has about the same resolution as most primes, with edge to edge details,
made for printing.
Stopping down, mostly eliminates vignetting, that is pronounced even on smaller apertures,
like f/8 and f/11. Chromatic aberrations are mainly visible on high contrast zones, like
trees against a bright sky, with magenta and green edges kept to a minimum. Axial aberrations
are also invisible, with no colored halos on front or background highlights.
The only optical complaint, comes from the very noticeable geometrical distortion, visible
on straight lines. There's a pincushion distortion at 150mm, and at 600mm; lines seems
to fall to the center of the frame.
Finally colors and bokeh are pleasing on telephoto lenses, with Sigma coming as close as possible
to Canon. Hues are yellow-biased, with warm oranges and reds, resulting in brownish greens
and neutral blues; all easily manipulated via software. The out-of-focus quality varies,
depending on the focal length, background distance and even subject, but it's usually
pleasing, enough to isolate close items. The highlights, that actually give the bokeh its
significance, are rendered without stronger edges, although not completely blurry.
The 600mm used to be a luxury to few photographers, but the Sigma 150-600 brings it to mainstream.
Be it for faraway subjects or to let your creativity fly, this is the lens. Nice shooting!

Ready Player One REVIEW (SPOILERS@3:39 + EASTER EGGS) - Duration: 8:15.
what's up everybody? today I'm here to do a movie review on a film Ready Player
One directed by the wonderful and awesome, and one of my favorite directors
Steven Spielberg. My first thoughts about this film, oh my God go watch it
it's a lot of fun it's filled with very beautiful visual effects, great
cinematography, great character development, great storytelling. One of my
favorite things about Spielberg is that he really knows how to tell a story, and
how to make you connect to a character, and bring heart and bring soul to a
story. This is a film that is very nostalgic, there is a lot of Easter eggs
throughout the entire thing, I couldn't believe the amount of stuff that I was
seeing and when I get to the spoilers I'm gonna talk about the easter eggs as
well. So the overall story is pretty much a little bit like the Matrix, there is a
virtual world, where most people spend their time in this virtual world because
real life basically sucks. The person that created this virtual world put up a
challenge, basically you have to find three keys and whoever is the
winner also becomes the owner of this virtual world and then obviously
everyone wants to win this because it's a very big deal. Can you imagine you
control a world where everyone is connected to? so then obviously that's
where the villain comes in. I thought the villain was incredible, he
really made you hate him. He was very distasteful and, just like this terrible,
horrible corporate people who doesn't care about anything and anyone but just
money. So this corporate guy is trying to...
obviously hires a bunch of people so they can play this game and win so he
can take control of this virtual world.
However the plots goes around this boy because he's the one that wins the first
challenge, and then the whole film is pretty much
they going back and forth trying to win the challenge. The boy also makes a lot
of good friends inside of this virtual world. What I think I was really
good about this film is that it really celebrates the past, and
nowadays we see so many shows that brings a lot of nostalgia back and I people
really love those things. I loved it, I was very impressed with the visuals
and so many Easter eggs, it was also very funny. It had the right amount
of humor in my opinion and I also think that the subject itself is very
relatable, because with the advance of Technology nowadays, it is not like in the
80s anymore. Today people are always on their phones and on their
tablets and it's it's very similar to that kind of virtual world where
people sometimes detach from reality , but then the film also give this message
that although this technology and advancement is good and you can take
advantage of it you also have to remember that there's
real life and technically that's the only place where you can get a decent
meal. So my overall opinion I think you definitely should watch this film, I
think a lot of people are going to enjoy it, obviously the movie is not perfect, there's
a few things in the story that I was like, oh it could have been gone in a
different way but overall it's very entertaining, it's very exciting
it's action-packed, it's funny it's great storytelling great cinematography and
you know it's Spielberg. He is the best so definitely recommend it. Okay so from
now on if you still haven't seen this film please stop this video and come
back later because now I'm gonna talk about all the Easter eggs that I spotted
in this film. Again if you really don't want to be spoiled stop watching
the video right now and just come back later and tell me your comments. Did
you find different Easter eggs? because I would love to hear about it, I'm pretty sure I
missed some of them but let's get to the spoiler section. So first I'm gonna
talk about the Easter eggs that I've seen there: I saw Batman, reference of
Star Trek, I saw GORO from Mortal Kombat, Hello Kitty, Robocop, Lara Croft,
Doc Brown, the Batmobile, the DeLorean, r2d2, the Millennium Falcon, Atari game,
Catwoman, King Kong, beetlejuice, Jason from Friday the 13th, The alien spaceship,
Harley Quinn and the Joker, Chucky, the shining there's an entire section in the shiny
that it was super incredible, Ninja Turtles, sub-zero from Mortal Kombat,
He-man, oh and then main character, one of the costumes that
he changes into is a Christopher Reeves's Clark Kent and I thought that was
really sweet. So guys please, by all means once you watch this film and if you spot
more Easter eggs, I definitely gonna watch this film again and see if I
can spot more, but if you spot more than I did please comment below because I'd
love to hear about it. So anyways I thought that the story was pretty great
the one thing that I thought it was a little bit weird was when his aunt dies
you know, the main character got over her pretty soon. The next day he was
pretty much making out with the girl, I mean not making out, but like he
completely forgot about his his aunt, and that was the one thing that I thought it
was a little bit weird. He didn't even mention that his his aunt passed
away. That took me out of the film because I kept
thinking, I know that she wasn't the best but at least she's still family so I
thought it was kind of weird and it's death, it's kind of serious thing, so that
was just the only thing that I thought it didn't connect very well. But anyways
overall I was very impressed with the film the action is just incredible, I
love that he was very connected, he knew a lot about the guy who created it, so
genuinely he was the one that really deserved to win that game. I thought
that was played pretty well and I love the setup at the end where he walks in
and it's like filled with gold and all these things and he's about to sign the
contract and then he figured out I'm not gonna do the same mistake that you did.
I thought that was pretty great, I thought the girl that he fell in love with,
she had a great charisma and they had great chemistry, I loved their
dynamic and the whole dance scene, when they go out to the dance
club I thought that was hilarious. She's very sassy,
and I loved the whole thing. I love like his best friend was trying to warn him
about this girl, saying you do realize this is a virtual world you know you
could be talking to a dude named Chucky or named Chuck something like
that. That made me laugh so hard because it's definitely true, it's the
same thing when you're talking to someone online I don't know, it could be
a different person but it turns out that the girl was not that different from her
avatar. That was pretty cool I liked it . Towards the end of the film they
also give real-life some importance because obviously, it's a lot of fun this
virtual world, where they can pretty much become whoever they
want to be like. You can go in and have a fight with Luke Skywalker or meet Darth
Vader or go climb Everest mountain with Batman and how cool all these
things are? However it is still not real, it's still a fake world and I think
that was very cool that when he became the owner he decided to close the
virtual world for two days a week, if I'm not mistaken I think one of the days
was Tuesday. So I thought that was very cool and he passes the message that
real life is also very important because that's where you create real connections
with people. I believe that this movie is going to do very well, I think a lot of
people are going to like it and I definitely recommend it. You know,
just for the nostalgia itself is great ! Thiis was definitely money well
spent, definitely go check it out and if you
have already seen this film let me know what you thought about it. Did you like
it as well? This is the end of my review, if you like this video please give it a
thumbs up and subscribe for more I'll see you next time! bye

Airrifle Diana 430L - review and shooting test - Duration: 4:55.
Hi! Nice to see you guys. Today I would like to introduce you to an air rifle again.
Today we are talking about the Diana 430L. Have fun!
Let's get to the technical data first. The air rifle is 103 centimetres long and weighs 3600 grams.
The air rifle is a rigid barrel spring loaded rifle.
The Diana is clamped with a lever. I would say,
that we're going to have a close look at the air rifle. We've got what's going on here,
you see a small ball in that little hole. Which is the bullet,
which then keeps the tension lever running. That means that when you press it back, it snaps into place.
Here we have the 39 centimetre long barrel, the beechwood shaft.
The fish skin in the forearm area.
The T06 trigger. It can be adjusted in advance, in the pressure point and in the trigger weight.
The trigger weight can be set between 400 and 500 grams.
Then you can see the fish skin in the grip area, the raised cheek piece.
The cheek piece is raised on both sides.
This means that the air rifle can be fired from both left- and right-handed shooters.
The rubberized, ventilated butt plate.
Then here's the automatic backup. Red means "Fire", white means "safe".
Then here is the attached 11 mm prism rail with two holes for stopper pins of the assembly.
Here you can see the Diana 430L logo and the little "F",
the air rifle is a weapon less than 7.5 joules.
This is then available for free from 18 years of age. Here's the hatch with the little lever to push,
if you want to return the bottom lever after tensioning.
Now let's see what the air rifle can do at the shooting range. Have fun!
We're now in the Dianal 430 L fire test. We're shooting from a distance of 11.5 meters.
I shoot with the JSB Exact 4.53 mm. I use a Bullseye 3-9x40 sighting scope.
For assembly I have the Bullseye Zero Recoil assembly.
Let's see what scattering circle we get together.
A shot took me a bit to the right, but we'll have a closer look at the result.
Well, what do you know? 12 millimeters.
I think from left to right was probably the biggest deviation. That should have been about the eighth or ninth shot,
who pulled out a piece on the right. But at 12 millimeters,
you can't complain. The other 10 are all a bit left,
a little off the blue dot.
I think that is now a quite respectable result. You can't complain about that.
Here you can see the result of the Diana 430L.
In the case of a medium bounce, I find this absolutely respectable.
I would like to add something to the technical data.
The air rifle is available up to a performance of 16 joules.
That means you should want to shoot Field Target or Hunter Field Target,
you would also have the opportunity to compete in the big classes with the air rifle.
But it would be better if you had an air rifle with an adjustable stock.
You could then react more individually to the circumstances.
I hope you enjoyed my video. I'm going to shoot another round myself.
I hope to see you on the next video. If you have any questions,
then post these in the comments. Feel free to leave me a "like" there if you liked it.
Then I'll see you next time! Servus says AirGhandi!

Moog launches Minimoog Model D app for iPhone and iPad! Review - Duration: 5:11.
How about having a Minimoog on the iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch, released by Moog itself, paying less than 5 dollars?
That's right, Moog Music has released the Minimoog Model D for iOS!
Minimoog is an absolute classic.
Launched in the 70's, it stood out in several musical styles, always used by great artists and still of the
dream of almost all keyboard players.
Moog's monophonic analog synth has been out of production for a long time.
In recent years, it has been re-manufactured in a limited edition, but is already out of production again.
So Moog decided to take Minimoog to as many people as possible by launching an iOS app that costs less than $ 5,
entirely based on the original instrument, compatible with iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch with 64-bit processor.
The interface is what we expect from a Minimoog.
We have 3 oscillators, the classic low pass filter, the envelope generators, etc.
But the cool look becomes an accessory when we start to hear the sounds of the Minimoog Model D app.
After investing heavily in Model 15, the recreation of its modular system for iOS,
Moog seems to be using the same sound engine inside the Minimoog.
The tone is very bright, the bass is present and the controls are smooth and very precise.
And there are 160 presets of different categories, including the classic group, with some sounds you'll probably recognize.
But the Minimoog Model D app is not limited to re-creating the behavior and sounds of the original instrument.
It takes advantage of digital technology to bring some cool news.
The Minimoog app, unlike the analog synth, is capable of operating also in polyphonic mode with 4 voices.
In addition, we have 4 integrated effects, with the look of MoogerFoogers: Arpeggiator, Bender (a kind
of chorus, capable of other modulations too), a stereo ping pong delay and a looper, to create sequences and improvise.
Talking about the technical side, the Minimoog Model D is compatible with the Audio Unit 3 format and can be
used in GarageBand and other music production apps on the iPad or iPhone.
The Ableton Link feature is also available.
It works with any MIDI controller that works with iOS and you can easily map all the panel controls with the MIDI Learn.
By the way, the app is capable of operating also with high-resolution MIDI controls, which is great!
Still on MIDI, there is compatibility with the new MPE technology, that used in GeoShred and other apps,
allowing the control of pitch and pitch bend independently by note.
You can also switch presets via Program Change messages and use Bluetooth MIDI controllers.
Finally, it is worth saying that presets created by the user can be shared
with extreme ease, via airdrop, dropbox, email and etc.
A lot of people have asked me about the differences between the Minimoog Model D and Arturia's iMini,
a minimoog simulator for iPad that has been around for some time.
If your a curious about that, check this video to watch my comparison showing the main differences between them.
Finally, just two criticisms: I found the system of presets a bit weird.
It is beautiful, but not very functional working just horizontally.
The other thing has to do exactly with the use of the screen.
I would love to be able to hide the keyboard when using a MIDI controller.
It is not always necessary to occupy the space with the virtual keys.
The same goes for this part of settings and options.
I always remember Korg's iMS-20, which I consider to be one of the best synth interfaces ever released for the iPad.
For me it is impossible not to like the possibility of having a Minimoog in your pocket or in your backpack,
paying less than 5 dollars, with a version created by the manufacturer of the original instrument.
I will not even be discussing here if the app is better or worse than the physical
instrument that costs almost a thousand times its price!
It's a completely different experience.
The cool thing is that the app sounds great, behaves like expected and is extremely useful and fun!

dbrand GRIP for Pixel 2 XL; Review + Drop Test! - Duration: 6:22.
dbrand is a company that is very popular for making smartphone skins.
Recently, they just started making their own smartphone cases.
This was made possible through crowdfunding via their Indiegogo campaign.
For the backers, it's been a long time since the campaign launched.
But, I finally got mine and so, this is my review video of the dbrand GRIP case for the
Pixel 2 XL.
Now, to be completely honest, I have been using this case for a total of maybe two days
but honestly, you don't really need that long of a period to form an opinion.
We use our smartphones every minute, after all.
The GRIP case's main selling points are: A revolutionary grip; An industry-first carbon
composite frame; World-class D3O shock-absorbing technology; Full dbrand skin compatibility;
and Ultra-tactile buttons.
Well, it is quite grippy, actually.
The carbon composite frame looks good but it reminds me too much of my Nexus 6P's Rhinoshield case.
It actually broke at many points on the frame, compromising its strength.
Hopefully, that won't happen with this one.
The D3O technology is nothing new.
Actually, it's commonly found in stuff like motorcycle protection gear.
See, D3O is soft and flexible in its normal form but once you apply impact, it becomes
rigid and hard; distributing all the force across the entire surface.
According to dbrand, the entire inner-edge of this case is actually lined with this D3O material.
As well as, some of the grip spots on the outside.
The D3O supposedly creates a grippier surface.
They weren't kidding about that but we're going to get back to that later.
Needless to say, I'm a big fan of this D3O technology.
I have been, ever since my iPhone 5S.
They also say that the D3O material breaks in, and that
every case becomes unique after a certain point.
But I don't really know what that means and honestly, I just want good protection.
The dbrand skin compatibility just means that the entire back is exposed, so that you can
show off another dbrand [product].
The ultra-tactile buttons actually do feel very tactile and I really like them.
They also claim that NFC and wireless charging will not be affected but I don't really see
how this case can affect it.
Also, that it's waterproof but I wouldn't expect this case to make your phone waterproof
if it wasn't already in the first place.
Here are my first impressions: It's big.
My Pixel 2 XL, which is normally 7.5 CM in width, now becomes 8.5.
That is 3" to nearly 3.5, for those who measure in imperial.
At first, this was borderline uncomfortable and I really didn't appreciate the added size.
But after a day or two, well, you kind-of get used to it.
And to its credit, the added actually does add more grip.
And I have to say, it does feel like it adds good protection.
Especially these little rounded corners here that protrude from the rest of the case.
They put more D3O in the places where your phone is more likely to contact another surface.
I wouldn't really hesitate too much in the case of a drop, with this case on my phone.
So, I decided to do a drop test!
Okay, so since I'm a small channel and this is not a sponsored video, I don't have a spare
phone to throw around.
So I'm making this demonstration using my own Pixel 2 XL.
If this breaks, I'm going to be very disappointed.
So I'm going to only do one drop test because I don't want to break my phone.
I'm going to drop it from just above head level...
Your phone shouldn't be falling any further than that.
If it is, then this probably isn't the case for you.
Or maybe it is!
We're going to find out.
Okay, here goes nothing.
I'm going to try to drop it right in this little spot that I cleared.
So you can see that this is actually a working phone, I'm going to turn on the camera.
Horizontal video, obviously.
Okay, from just about head level, here goes nothing.
Acutally, I dropped it twice because I forgot to turn on the camera for the first one.
So yeah, this thing is protective.
Fortunately, this scenario is less likely to happen to your phone because of the added grip.
And they weren't kidding about the added grip.
Watch as I push my finger on this phone at a 45 degree angle on this surface.
The entire mat would slide before my phone did.
Now, that is impressive.
But it's not all positives.
Like I said earlier, I'm not sure how to feel about the carbon composite frame.
Specifically, around the area of the buttons and the charging port.
Notice here, how you can actually see some light through the charging port's cutout.
But honestly, the Pixel 2's design is probably to blame for that.
I'm also not a fan of form factor.
I kind-of expected it to be slimmer and it's really hard to remove from the pocket.
It really pulls everything out along with it and the extra grip doesn't really help
in this scenario.
Just because I got used to it, doesn't mean I really enjoy it.
I'm also not a fan of this oversized front lip.
The sides actually go in a lot just because of the design of the Pixel 2 XL.
It creates these trenches, where lint and dust would collect like there's no tomorrow.
The same can be said for the back but that is less of a concern.
Also, just the shape and the stiffness of the case seems to make the phone's squeeze
feature a lot more sensitive but that one's a bit more of a nitpick, since this can be
customized in the settings.
In the end, my recommendation for this case is conditional.
If you have big hands, I would have no problem recommending this case to you.
Sure, you might get a bunch of dust collection inside the case but honestly, just due to
the design of the Pixel 2 XL, it's going to be hard to find a case that doesn't do this
to some extent, anyway.
And yeah, it's not the prettiest thing in the world but it's functional.
You'll be glad it wasn't something pretty when you drop it.
But for those with smaller hands, like myself, I would hesitate to recommend the dbrand GRIP
for the Pixel 2 XL.
It just increases the size by that much.
It's a $60 case, so if you're going to be paying that much, you better be paying for
something that you're going to like using.
And the size just might get in the way of that but if you've used big phones in the
past and have no problem with it, then I'd say go for it.
Just know that I warned you because it looks a lot bigger in person.
Let me know your thoughts about the dbrand GRIP case and whether or not this is the first
time that you've heard of it in the comments section below.
That is it for this video, thank you for watching and I will see you in the next one!
