  Sean Penn is opening up about the current state of his relationship with ex-wife, Robin Wright.  While promoting his upcoming book, Bob Honey Who Just Do Stuff that publishes March 27, the 57-year-old actor revealed during an interview on Marc Marons WTF Podcast that while communication isnt common between the pair, things may be better off that way.

We dont have a lot of conversation. We dont not get along, he said. We have very separate relationships with our kids at this point and its better that way because they are making their own decisions.

As it turned out she and I did not share the same ethical views on parenting including the continuing parenting of adult children. As E! News previously reported, the former couple, who share two kids together, Dylan, 26, and Hopper, 24, divorced in 2010 after a 14 year union.

It was better for her to be entirely whatever she is and available to them and they love their mother and they have that relationship and for me to be entirely available but.were always going to have conflicting ethics. Despite their conflicting views, both of their children are doing just fine. Thats going great.

Theyre both acting and modeling in an industry that Im not very interested in, but they seem to have fun with it. Im supportive of whatever my kids do that keeps them happy and healthy, period, Penn told Maron in the podcast.

While Penn hesitates to delve deeper into his relationship with Wright, it seems he is still open to finding love. Im never going to take a position that Im closed off to love.

People falling in love with each other is a great, great thing. Whether he finds loves or not, Penn is doing okay, simply stating, I feel great..

Parents have a healthy relationship with their children who are exiting the home? - Duration: 2:27.

So, I've sent a kid off to college three years in a row, three different kids.

And then, I've got another one who's leaving really soon, and it's hard.

It's really hard to watch them walk out the door. And I think what we have to hope

for is that when they walk out the door, we can say, "Whatever happens from here

on out, I know they're capable of facing it." They may not always do

everything perfectly, but they know what to do with failure.

They know how to face it down and learn from it. And so, for us as our children

were approaching college age, to the point at which they were going

to leave our home, we gave them increasing responsibilities, obviously,

allowing them to have opportunities to fail when the stakes were still

pretty low, so that they could learn from their mistakes while they were living

with us, and we could help coach them through them. And then, once they leave,

you know, it's such a strange time. Technology allows us to stay connected

with our grown kids in a way that it was not possible when I left the home to go

off to school or to live on my now, and that's something that actually is

a new thing we can enjoy. I had the weekly phone call,

where I called and talked to my parents for an hour every week.

But, we have all of these beautiful ways to stay connected with one another,

but it's also really important to see those as ways to maintain relationship,

but not maintain control. It's time for those children to manage

their own lives, and they're ready. If you've done the hard work in the years

leading up to that time and you have to trust the Lord at a whole new level.

We always think that the newborn phase is the part where we really have to trust

the Lord. And then, we learn with every stage that there is

a new way to learn to trust Him. I talked to my stepmom recently and

she said, "You never stop." You get to your 70s and your 80s,

and you're still looking at your children and thinking, there has to be trust here

because I can't control everything. So, our hope as parents is that our children

are going to leave and be self sustaining adults. And so, that means that we spend,

not just the last six months or the last year of the time that they're with us,

but we spend each of the years leading up to that time period,

asking ourselves how can we give them internal mechanisms for good

decision making. How can we send them out into the world with a strong sense of who

they are that's rooted in the Lord, and in our family, and then send them

on to what's next.

After months of speculation, Atlanta rapper YFN Lucci and Reginae Carter have confirmed that they are dating.

The rapper, who recently released his debut album Ray Ray From Summerhill, and Lil Wayne's daughter were crowned king and queen at InstaGala, a "grown-up prom" event in Atlanta this past weekend.

Reginae shared a couple of photos from the event on her Instagram.

Lucci then followed up and shared another photo of the two lovebirds on his account, writing the caption "HER SMILE #PRICELESS" and confirming that they are dating indeed.

There has been criticism about their relationship online as some fans noted that he's 27 years old, which makes him 8 years older than Reginae.

The rapper saw one comment and snapped back on his Twitter.
