So, lately, public hotspots have become very prevalent, very common. Everywhere

you go, you can just scan for a Wi-Fi network and you'll see a bunch of them

listed and it's very easy to just select one and start using the Internet.

It is extremely easy for a hacker to set up a rogue or fake hotspot where a user

could potentially connect to their hotspot and now the hacker can see

everything that user is doing on the Internet. So, when dealing with public

Wi-Fi networks the best course of action is to avoid them. If that is not an

option, keep in mind that everything you do

could potentially be seen by somebody else. So, stay away from banking sites,

shopping sites -- just don't enter any personal information if at all possible.

If that is, again, not an option, ensure that any websites you visit use

HTTPS which means that they are secure.

N. Korean leader makes least public appearances in 2017 - Duration: 2:35.

For 2017, the reclusive state's leader made the fewest public appearances since coming

into power.

An indication that Kim Jong-un is becoming more isolated than ever.

However North Korean watchers believe signs of warming up to the idea of dialogue next

year could be reflected in the young leader's New Year's speech.

Oh Jung-hee shares with us some expert's take on the matter.

North Korean leader Kim Jong-un made fewer public appearances this year... than in any

other year since he assumed leadership of the regime in 2012.

According to Seoul-based Yonhap News Agency,... Kim made 93 public appearances in 2017,...

a 30-percent drop from last year.

Military-related tours accounted for over 40-percent of his appearances,... with social

and cultural events... and visits related to the economy... taking up about 30-percent

each.

Kim appeared at public events over 150 times in 2012,... and over 200 times in 2013,...

but that number steadily decreased to around 170, 150, and 130 in the following years,...

hitting around 90 this year.

Analysts say,... Kim at first aimed to solidify his grip on power as well as build an image

of a friendly leader who's close to the people.

But in his sixth year of leadership, Kim may have felt that his authority has become more

or less stable.

(Korean) "The recent drop in Kim's public appearances

can first be attributed to the fact that Kim has completed the reshuffle of the leadership

structure.

Also, I personally see that military pressure from the United States has an influence.

It includes a strategy to get rid of Kim... so Kim tends not to show himself often."

With Kim making less and less public appearances, his leadership is becoming more and more closed.

But pundits believe, he could try to make room for dialogue with other countries through

the upcoming New Year's speech,... as the regime has announced the completion of its

weapons program.

(Korean) "Through the 2018 New Year's speech, there's

a possibility that Kim will once again declare the completion of Pyongyang's nuclear development,...

and turn towards peaceful dialogue with South Korea and other countries.

So how the international community responds to the North's move will be important."

But the expert added, if the international community still hangs onto strict sanctions

against the regime, Pyongyang may carry out additional provocations,... like a seventh

nuclear test and further ICBM launches.

Is Kim DYING? Fears for North Korea boss's health as he withdraws from public eye - DAILY NEWS - Duration: 3:33.

Is Kim DYING? Fears for NK boss's health as he withdrawsfrom public eye

NORTH Korea's rotund leader has dramatically cut back his public appearances in 2017 sparking

new fears his failing health could be worsening.

Kim Jong-un suffers from a number of well-documented health problems linked to his constantly ballooning

waistband and chronically unhealthy lifestyle.

And now it has emerged Kim has made the lowest number of public appearances of his reign

this year since he took power in 2011.

North Korea's dictator slashed his visits and inspections by a third – being seen

by his people just 94 times over the past 12 months.

Kim has had to withdraw from the public eye suffering from health problems before, with

even North Korean media previously admitting he suffers "discomfort".

War fears have loomed over the Korean Peninsula in recent months as Kim goes head-to-head

with US President Donald Trump.

Kim has carried out just 94 inspections between January 1 and December 28, as compared to

last year's 133.

Analysis by South Korean media revealed the leader mainly axed visits to meet and greet

his people.

Instead he focused on appearances with the military amid rising tensions with the US

and his fast-advancing quest for nuclear ICBMs.

Photoshoots towards the tail end of this year revealed Kim may be suffering – appearing

bathed in sweat and uneasy on his feet.

In a visit to a cosmetics factory, he leaned on desks and strangely at one point was pictured

sitting on a folding chair.

And in other snaps he appeared bigger than ever as he crammed his heft behind the wheel

of a tractor and a flat-bed truck.

The 33-year-old was branded "short and fat" this year as even Trump attacked him over

his weight problem.

He is believed to suffer from a list of health problems – including gout, diabetes, heart

disease and hypertension.

Letting his weight balloon is believed to be a bid to try and resemble his beloved grandfather

Kim Il-sung, North Korea's founding father, who was a notably rotund figure.

Kim loves expensive cheeses, beer, and fish which he gets specially imported for him and

his pals.

Chefs are flown in from around ht world to cater for his lavish diet as he lives a glamorous

lifestyle compared to his suffering people.

Poverty runs rampant throughout the North Korea as it feels the weight of sanctions

and its citizens are trodden beneath the feet of the elite.

Nuclear war has loomed over the rogue state as Kim antagonised the US with repeated missile

launches and the detonation of an H-bomb.

Trump has threatened to destroy North Korea, while Pyongyang warned it would turn Washington

into a "sea of fire".

Russia warned of catastrophic war between Trump and Kim, one that would be worse than

any in human history.

Kim Jong-un SLASHES public appearances in 2017 amid rumours North Korea dictator is ILL - Duration: 3:49.

Kim Jong-un SLASHES public appearances in 2017 amid rumours North Korea dictator is ILL

The number of visits carried out by plummeted by nearly 30 per cent compared with 2016, with the largest proportion of this year's appearances dedicated to weapons and military inspections.

The fall in his public profile follows reports he is unwell, with the despot's weight fluctuating wildly in recent months and some of his appearances being characterised by his sweaty and uneasy appearance.

On a visit to a shoe factory Kim, branded "little rocket man" by President Donald Trump, appeared off balance and his face was covered in sweat.

He was forced to take a seat on a folding chair in another visit which saw him struggling again.

South Korean politician Lee Cheol-woo said: "He keeps a close tab on any potential threats to his power, including the military, and he is obsessed with ensuring his personal safety.

"Because of his habitual binge eating and drinking, he is likely to develop adult lifestyle diseases.". It has been claimed he is suffering from gout, diabetes, heart disease and hypertension, with potentially fatal results.

The lavish lifestyle of a dictator has been blamed for his ill health with Kim gorging himself on luxurious food while his people starve.

He is known to have an appetite for expensive cheese, beer and fish which are specially imported into the prison state for him. Tours of weapons facilities and other military visits made up 44 per cent of Kim's outings.

Visits relating to the economy tumbled as preparations for war stole focus and sanctions began to hurt business with not a single appearance in August related to the nation's flagging trade.

The total number of visits also dropped with just 93 made from January 1 to December 28 compared with 133 in the same period last year.

News of Kim's dwindling public visits follows revelations that he is under pressure to jump-start North Korea's economy despite tough sanctions from the UN.

Speaking of Kim Jong-un, senior analyst at the US-based CNA Corp Ken Gause said: He can claim victory in 2017 because of the progress on the nuclear deterrent.

He will have to begin to show progress on the economy in order to nail down his bona fides as a strong leader. Unlike his father and grandfather, Kim Jong-uns legitimacy is tied closely to policy success..

UFO expert demands top secret metal 'recovered from UFOs' be made public - Duration: 2:34.

UFO expert demands top secret metal 'recovered from UFOs' be made public

Author Anthony Bragalia has demanded the release of test results on UFO metals that are believed to be in the possession of the US government.

Mr Bragalia has filed Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests with the US Department of Defense for details on "strange metal-like materials" from UFOs.

Reports of the metal emerged this month after it was revealed the US had run a top secret Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Programme (AATIP) Programme from 2007 to 2012 at a cost of £16.5 million.

It claimed metal from UFOs was recovered during the top secret inquiry. Mr Bragalia, who has for long investigated UFO phenomenon, believes the alloys are being stored at the home of an aerospace billionaire.

He said he was "willing and able to sue the US government" if the information was denied.

In an online article, Mr Bragalia wrote: "I have FOIA requests with five US Department of Defense agencies for the release of test results on UFO alloys that have been reported by The New York Times to be in the possession of the United States government." Former intelligence official Luis Elizondo revealed Bigelow Aerospace was hired by the US Government to house in "modified buildings" strange metal-like materials recovered by military personnel as UFO residue, flotsam, shot-off pieces, or crash items.

The firm run by billionaire Robert Bigelow was paid huge amounts of money by the US Department of Defense to research the phenomenon and look after the "metal alloys", according to news reports.

No official reports on the alleged materials have yet been released.
