Famous actor Denzel Washington just made some comments that are going to send Black Lives

Matter into an outrage.

The veteran of Hollywood said his latest role as an attorney in Roman J. Israel, Esq. reinforced

his belief that black men "can't blame the system" because they tend to make it

"easy work" when it comes to filling America's prison systems.

Going further, Washington said that it's the breakdown of the black family that's

causing so much crime within the community.

"It starts at the home," said Washington.

"It starts at home."

"It starts with how you raise your children," continued the Academy Award winner, the New

York Daily News reported.

"If a young man doesn't have a father figure, he'll go find a father figure."

"So you know I can't blame the system,' Washington added.

"It's unfortunate that we make such easy work for them."

For Washington, the subject of how fatherless young men fall into a life of crime and incarceration

is personal, the 62-year-old told reporters.

He explained how he grew up among other kids who chose a life of crime, but he was fortunate

enough to move past it and become successful.

"I grew up with guys who did decades (in prison), and it had as much to do with their

fathers not being in their lives as it did to do with any system," said Washington.

"Now I was doing just as much as they were, but they went further."

"I just didn't get caught, but they kept going down that road and then they were in

the hands of the system," the actor added.

"But it's about the formative years.

You're not born a criminal."

Washington's role in Roman J. Israel, Esq. is as a lawyer who works in the overburdened

Los Angeles criminal system.

Washington's comments are sure to enrage the race-baiting thugs of Black Lives Matter,

who totally ignore the fact that actions have consequences.

Thankfully, there's people like him who are willing to speak up, even if his remarks

aren't going to be popular.

If more prominent black voices were to do the same, they'd accomplish more than Black

Lives Matter ever imagined.

THE WASHINGTON POST HAD AN AMAZING STORY TODAY ABOUT

THEIR RUN IN WITH A WOMAN NAMED JAMIE PHILLIPS.

THAT IS APPARENTLY HER REAL NAME.

SHE APPROACHED A WASHINGTON POST REPORTER AND SAID SHE HAD

INFORMATION ABOUT A RELATIONSHIP SHE HAD BACK WHEN SHE WAS

15 WITH ROY MOORE AND WANTED TO PROVIDE MORE INFORMATION.

IT'S A LONG PROCESS OF THEM GOING BACK AND FORTH WITH HER,

HER STRINGING THE REPORTER ALONG, SHE WANTS TO USE EMAIL

AND NOT THE PHONE.

BUT EVENTUALLY THE WASHINGTON POST REPORTERS ON MONDAY MORNING

SAW HER WALKING TO THE NEW YORK OFFICES OF PROJECT VERITAS, A

GROUP THAT HAS NO INTEREST IN VERITAS OR ANYTHING LIKE IT.

THIS IS THE ORGANIZATION THAT THE D BAG WHO LIKES TO GO

UNDERCOVER CAN SELECTIVELY EDIT TO MAKE LIBERAL GROUPS LOOK BAD,

HAD PUT THIS WOMAN UP TO TRY TO LIE TO THE WASHINGTON POST ABOUT

HER EXPERIENCE.

BECAUSE THEY FOUND OUT THAT SHE IS INVOLVED WITH PROJECT VERITAS

AND HAD BEEN LYING TO THEM THEY SAID THIS.

THE INTENT WAS TO PUBLICIZE THE PUBLIC'S CREATION IF WE

THOUGHT OF FOR THE TRAP.

WE CAN'T HONOR AND OFF THE RECORD AGREEMENT THAT WAS

SOLICITED AND MALICIOUSLY BAD FAITH.

THE MISTAKE SHE MADE IS THAT SHE ACTED REALLY SUSPICIOUSLY,

CONTINUOUSLY ASKING THEM IF ONCE HER STORY CAME OUT THAT

WOULD DESTROY MOORE'S CHANCES.

THEY REFUSE TO SAY ANYTHING LIKE THAT WHATSOEVER.

THEY ALSO MADE CLEAR TO HER THAT THEY WOULD BE FACT CHECKING HER

STORY WHICH THEY DID AND THEY FOUND THERE WAS NO EVIDENCE

SHE COULD PROVIDE THAT ANY OF THE THINGS SHE TALKED ABOUT

HAD ACTUALLY HAPPENED.

THEY FOUND REFERENCES ONLINE TO A GO FIND ME CAMPAIGN UNDER THE

SAME NAME OF JAMIE PHILLIPS SAYING THIS.

SO UNFORTUNATELY SHE FOUND OUT WHAT ACTUAL FACT CHECKING IS

LIKE AND IT CAME BACK TO BITE HER IN

THE ASS.

SHE HAD APPLIED TO WORK WITH THE DAILY CALLER, THEY CALLED HER,

SHE SAID SHE TALKED TO KATHY ñ JOHNSON.

YOU WILL BE SHOCKED TO FIND OUT THAT KATHY JOHNSON DOESN'T WORK

AT THE DAILY CALLER AND THERE IS NO INFORMATION OF THE

SWIMMING HAVING EVER APPLIED.

LATER THAT NIGHT AT 7 PM THE MESSAGE ON THE GO FUND ME PAGE

WAS GONE REPLACED BY A NEW ONE, CAMPAIGN MESSAGES COMPLETE

AND NO LONGER ACTIVE.

THEY WANTED TO SHOW HOW BIASED THE

MEDIA IS.

SHE TRIED TO TRICK THEM BY DOING THINGS LIKE ñ

MINUTE, I DON'T THINK SHE IS EVEN REAL.

THAT IS WHEN THEY UNWIND THE FACT THAT HER NAME MATCHES THE

GO FUND ME PAGE.

THEN THEY GO AND FIND HER LOOKING INTO PROJECT VERITAS.

THIS THESE GUYS ARE REAL CRIMINAL MASTERMINDS.

HA HA.

REFLEXIVELY THE WASHINGTON POST IN MY OPINION WILL SAY WAIT

A MINUTE, THE BERNIE SANDERS STUFF SOUNDS UNREALISTIC

AND THEY WILL PUT COLOR TO IT IN A WAY THAT I THINK THEY

DON'T EVEN REALIZE THEY ARE DOING.

Academy Award-winning actor Denzel Washington is currently promoting his new film, "Roman

J. Israel, Esq.," about the legal system and crime.

In a recent interview, he was asked about the current state of the legal system and

how African Americans are treated.

Rather than appeal to the "black victimization" narrative, Washington made some surprising

comments.

Rather than blame the legal system as racist towards black offenders, Washington said the

problem begins at home, with the lack of father figures raising good men.

The Daily Wire has more on Washington's comments.

Young Alumni Involvement African American Alumni Organization Washington DC - Duration: 2:17.

with the Young Alumni Involvement Award.

Our first category this evening,

created to encourage young alumni recruitment

and participation in an affiliate group.

This year the awards committee has selected two

of our affiliate groups

to receive the Young Alumni Involvement Award.

The first group we'd like to recognize is the African

American Alumni Organization

of Washington D.C. Alumni Interest Group.

This Alumni Interest Group has taken several steps

to engage young alumni in the D.C. Metro area.

One major aspect of this plan was the creation

of a D.C PSU mobile chat room, allowing millennial members

to engage in a way that is more natural to them.

The chat room makes it easy for young alumni

to access their community casually from any location.

It has enabled alumni to speak about local events

and Penn State news, to coordinate fellowship,

to share job information,

and even get resources related to finding housing.

The African American Alumni Group Organization

of Washington D.C. was not able

to send a representative this evening,

but they sent me some remarks that I'd like to share with you.

The African American Alumni Organization

of Washington D.C. is honored

to receive the Young Alumni Involvement Award.

We would like to thank the Alumni Association

for its encouragement and for acknowledging our hard work

and commitment.

The AAAO of D.C. made it our mission to engage our members

in our endeavors

and to underscore the Penn State experience doesn't end
