YOUTUBE PRIVACY SETTINGS: Why You Should Go With Public Settings. Show in Creator Studio Community - Duration: 6:00.

G'day, and thank you very much for stopping by my channel I'm Aussie Mark if

we haven't met before, and in today's video I wanted to talk to you about

subscribers that you have on your YouTube channel. One of the things that I

find people are surprisingly not aware of, is that when you get your YouTube

channel up and going, the automatic settings as far as the privacy of your

YouTube channel is said to private and I guess that's how it should be because,

you know, some people may want to keep their activities on YouTube all to

themselves and you know you gotta respect people for that. However I find

that if you have your settings to private then when somebody that you've

gone and subscribe to somebody's channel and then they go on and have a look at

the subscriber lists that they have and they're not going to be able to see you

and if they can't see you they're probably less likely to interact with

you and it's always great as a boost for people

to see the latest subscribers on their channel and that's something that I

think we all appreciate and y'know, not everybody's keen to grow their

subscriber base, however it's kind of like if you're on YouTube you're there

because you want people to watch your videos so part of that is getting more

subscribers. So anyway, I thought I'd show you today just the basic how to change

your settings from the default private up to public. That way you can see

people's who subscribe to your channel. Let's go now to the computer and have a

look. So this is my channel as you can see, and now you can see at the moment

I've got 1529 subscribers, but I know for a fact that I've got at least five

today, so if we now jump over here to my creative studio and go over to the, where

are we, to the community and then down to subscribers

Okay, there we go. Now look, you can see that the last subscriber that I can see

on here was two days ago, but I know that I got at least five

people today because my numbers went up by five, so that means those five people

have all got their settings set to private and I'd really love to be able

to get to know you better and see you on this list. So how do you change your

settings? It's very basic and if you've already done this and know how to do it

well thank you very much for watching and I hope we see you on the next video,

but it or not, let's have a look at how we do it. So basically we just go

back up here click on the top right where your icon is and instead of

looking on creator studio if I'm the YouTube setting next to it. If I

click on that, you'll see that it's now opening up this screen here, and if I now go down

to privacy. Right! This is what I'm talking about. So at the moment I have

all of my likes and subscribes unticked. Now by default you will find that

all of yours probably ticked like that. So that means, if you haven't unticked

them then anyone that you're subscribed to can't see you and conversely

obviously you can't see anyone who subscribes to your channel, so I think

it's a good idea to keep them unticked. I've certainly had mine unticked for

most of the time I've been on the YouTube and it hasn't made any

difference to people invading my privacy in fact it's only enables people to see

me on their subscriber list and allows me to interact a little bit better and

to give a boost to the people who I subscribe to as well just by making them

feel well the opening see how that easy to like oh yeah it was Aussie Mark; that's

great. So that's how you do it that's all you need to do and then you click the

Save button down at the bottom and your settings have changed. Well that's about

it for today's video I just wanted to make that clear for those of you who are

new to YouTube or new to my channel and wonder if maybe you might like to

change your video settings so that if I now go back to my creative studio next

time your subscribe to my channel if I jump into the community again as I'm

just doing now, and down to subscribers I should be able to see you on my list

rather than just see people who already changed their privacy settings. Well, I'll

leave you with it and now thanks again for watching I really do appreciate your

time as always I hope that you're enjoying my

channel if you haven't seen any of my older videos, please feel free to wander

on back and they have a look at some of the stuff I've done previously. Oh, and

also I don't mention this very often but a lot of you may not be aware that I

have a Facebook page called Aussie Mark Flies Drones there's a link in the

description underneath this video and basically what I put up there is

interesting news items about drones that I've found and stumbled across in

various places I go to on the net, and you might find that interesting if

you're a drone person so if you like to hop on over there if you have a facebook

account and like that page, that'd be much appreciated. All right,

that's me. Thanks. Bye for now.

Rose McGowan gets into shouting match with transgender woman, cancels all public appearances - Duration: 4:41.

Rose McGowan gets into shouting match with transgender woman, cancels all public appearances

Actress and activist Rose McGowan has canceled all upcoming public appearances after getting into an argument with a transgender woman at a New York City bookstore earlier this week.

McGowan tweeted Friday she canceled appearances because she has "given enough" and was "verbally assaulted" by someone she claimed was a paid actor.

The former "Charmed" star was at a Barnes & Noble in Union Square promoting her memoir "Brave" when a transgender woman, Andi Dier, asked about controversial comments she made during a podcast in July, the Daily News reported.

While speaking with drag queen RuPaul on his podcast "What's the Tee," McGowan said transgender women "hadn't developed as women.

"That's not growing as a woman, that's not living in this world as a woman," McGowan said, "and a lot of the stuff I hear trans complaining about, yeah, welcome to the world.

Dier argued transgender women are victims of sexual assault as well.

Trans women are dying and you said that we, as trans women, are not like regular women.

We get raped more often.

We go through domestic violence more often.

There was a trans woman killed here a few blocks (away)," she yelled at the actress.

The explosive argument captured McGowan demanding Dier sit down and not "label" her.

"Don't label me, sister.

Don't put your labels on me.

Don't you f---ing do that," McGowan said.

Dier was escorted out of the bookstore, but McGowan was not finished.

The actress continued to argue, according to video taken of the exchange.

"I'm not worried, I'm f---ing mad with the lies," McGowan said.

"I'm mad that you put s--- on me because I have a f---ing vagina and I'm white or I'm black or I'm yellow or I'm purple.

F--- off! All of us want to say it.

I just do!".

McGowan, 44, is one of the most vocal actresses speaking out against disgraced producer Harvey Weinstein.

She has claimed Weinstein raped her in 1997 – he has denied the allegations.

The day of the book tour argument, McGowan sat with journalist Ronan Farrow and revealed she was raped by "another prominent" Hollywood man, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

This man picked me up when I was 15 years old, she said.

He took me home after he met me and he showed me a soft porn movie he had made for Showtime, under a different name.

And then he had sex with me..

How To Improve Communication Skill - Talk To Anyone - Improve Your Public and Private Speaking - Duration: 3:59.

There is so much to know about conversation that anyone could ever realize.

You can go through watching talk shows; radio programs; clubs dedicated to public speaking;

ordinary conversations; certain rules still apply when it comes to interaction with words.

It may sound tedious, I know, but even though it's your mouth that's doing the work, your

brain works twice as hard to churn out a lot of things you know.

So what better way to start learning to be an effective communication is to know the

very person closest to you: yourself.

1.

What you know.

Education is all about learning the basics, but to be an effective speaker is to practice

what you've learned.

My stint as a guest at every Toastmasters' meeting I go to teach me that we all have

our limitations, but that doesn't mean we can't learn to keep up and share what we know.

2.

Listening.

It's just as important as asking questions.

Sometimes listening to the sound of our own voice can teach us to be a little bit confident

with ourselves and to say the things we believe in with conviction.

3.

Humility We all make mistakes, and sometimes we tend

to slur our words, stutter, and probably mispronounce certain words even though we know what it

means, but rarely use it only to impress listeners.

So in a group, don't be afraid to ask if you're saying the right word properly and if they're

unsure about it then make a joke out of it.

I promise you it'll make everyone laugh and you can get away with it as well.

4.

Eye Contact There's a lot to say when it comes to directing

your attention to your audience with an eye-catching gaze.

It's important that you keep your focus when talking to a large group in a meeting or a

gathering, even though he or she may be gorgeous.

5.

Kidding around A little bit of humour can do wonders to lift

the tension, or worse boredom when making your speech.

That way, you'll get the attention of the majority of the crowd and they'll feel that

you're just as approachable, and as human to those who listen.

6.

Be like the rest of them Interaction is all about mingling with other

people.

You'll get a lot of ideas, as well as knowing what people make them as they are.

7.

Me, Myself, and I Admit it, there are times you sing to yourself

in the shower.

I know I do!

Listening to the sound of your own voice while you practice your speech in front of a mirror

can help correct the stress areas of your pitch.

And while you're at it you can spruce up as well.

8.

With a smile A smile says it all much like eye contact.

There's no point on grimacing or frowning in a meeting or a gathering unless it's awake.

You can better express what you're saying when you smile.

9.

A Role Model There must be at least one or two people in

your life you have listened to when they're at a public gathering or maybe at church.

Sure they read their lines, but taking a mental note of how they emphasize what they say can

help you once you take centre stage.

10.

Preparation Make the best out of preparation rather than

just scribbling notes and often in a hurried panic.

Some people like to write things down on index cards, while other resort to being a little

more silly as they look at their notes written on the palm of their hand (not for clammy

hands, please).

Just be comfortable with what you know since you enjoy your work.

And that about wraps it up.

These suggestions are rather amateurish in edgewise, but I've learned to empower myself

when it comes to public or private speaking and it never hurts to be with people to listen

how they make conversations and meetings far more enjoyable as well as educational.
