News on Youtube Jul 3 2018

According to one royal expert, Meghan Markle's new wardrobe has cost approximately $1 million

since she became engaged to Prince Harry.

Entertainment Tonight calculated the cost of Markle's outfits from her first one-on-one

meeting with the queen to her wedding gown.

Her wedding dresses are by far the most expensive items on the list, with her Givenchy wedding

gown costing over $440,000, and the Stella McCartney gown she wore to the reception costing

about $157,000.

By comparison, the rest of her bespoke wardrobe sounds like a steal - a very relative term

when it comes to designer pieces.

The Givenchy cape dress she wore the first time she and the Queen had a solo appointment

was $18,000, the pale pink Carolina Herrera dress she wore to Trooping the Colour was

$4,000.

An Oscar de la Renta dress she wore to Prince Harry's cousin's wedding cost nearly $6,000,

and the dress she wore to Prince Charles' birthday party, a sheer dress by Goat, was

just over $600.

That's not to mention a Prada skirt suit she wore to the Young Leaders Awards Ceremony,

and several other events where she's worn designer ensembles, frequently Givenchy, complete

with shoes and accessories.

So who's paying for this gorgeous, Givenchy-heavy wardrobe?.

Journalist and royal expert Kate Nicholl told ET that the bill was being picked up by her

new father-in-law, Prince Charles, who gets the money from his $28 million yearly salary.

Being a royal is a full-time job.

Like her new sister-in-law Kate Middleton, Markle is likely working with an assistant

who puts in requests with designers to send samples to choose from.

Whatever she chooses is then paid for in full.

Royals do not accept designer clothes for free, reports People.

While they are allowed to accept certain types of gifts, the royals aren't allowed to accept

gifts intended for commercial gain, which includes clothing.

Whatever Markle and Middleton wear quickly sells out, so giving them free clothing could

be used as free marketing.

Given Middleton's knack for getting more than one wear per ensemble out of her own stylish

wardrobe, Markle will more than likely be repeating at least a few of these outfits.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry announced their engagement in November, and the wardrobe she

has acquired since then is worth an estimated $1 million.

Royal expert Katie Nicholl told Entertainment Tonight that as a sort of "ambassador"

for the royal family, the money is an investment gladly made by the royals – by Prince Charles

to be specific as he is the person footing the bill, at least since Meghan and Harry

were married.

Designer dresses aren't cheap, and neither is ensuring that every outfit worn in public

is glamorous and fits perfectly.

If her appearance is an investment in her as an ambassador for the royal family though,

it seems to be money well spent as the Duchess of Sussex always looks stunning.

Meghan's wedding gown alone had a hefty price tag of over $440,000.

Calgary-Herald reported that the dress was made by the first female artistic director

of French fashion house Givenchy, British designer Clare Waight Keller.

Made of silk with a gorgeous boat neckline, Kensington Palace described its look as "timeless

minimal elegance."

The palace also said this about the dress.

The veil measured five feet with flora from each of the 53 countries of the Commonwealth

plus two that Meghan selected herself – the California Poppy – to represent her birthplace

and the Wintersweet from the grounds of Kensington Palace.

And who could forget the beautiful white dress Meghan wore to her wedding reception, which

is valued at over $157,000.

It was made by fellow Brit Stella McCartney.

Nicholl stated that it's possible the palace didn't foot the total bill on the dresses

Markle wore on her wedding day but that regardless of how the costs were covered, it's money

well spent in the mind of the royals.

So the total spent on dresses worn on her wedding day comes to about $597,000 – over

half a million dollars.

The remaining $403,000 is spread among the other clothing we've seen the Duchess wear

in the last month or so.

There was the dress Markle wore during her outing with Queen Elizabeth.

It was made by the same designer who made her wedding dress – Clare Waight Keller

of Givenchy.

The cream-colored cape dress had a price tag of $18,000.

Six months on, how many same- marriages have there been? - Duration: 10:13.

Same-sex marriage: six months on there's much to celebrate, more to do The Conversation By Paula Gerber  It has been six months since Australia declared that marriage is no longer an exclusively heterosexual institution

In that time, about 2,500 same-sex couples have been married, with NSW recording the most weddings, closely followed by Victoria and Queensland

Many more couples, who married overseas before marriage equality was achieved here, have finally had their marriages recognised under Australian law

The 2016 Census revealed that there are 46,800 same-sex couples living together in Australia

Of these couples, 3,142 reported they were the husband or wife of someone of the same sex (presumably because they were married overseas)

If we combine this figure with the number of same-sex marriages registered in the last six months, it appears that over 10 per cent of same-sex couples who live together are now married

Lessons learnt from SSM survey I wondered if anyone else was feeling like me — not quite sure how to encapsulate the impact of same-sex marriage, writes Heather Faulkner

What's changed? During the postal survey, the "No" campaign warned of dire consequences if the institution of marriage was opened up to non-heterosexual couples

There was a stream of ads asserting that boys would start wearing dresses to school, students would role-play being in same-sex relationships, and radical LGBT sex and gender education would become mandatory

Safe Schools — a national program to combat bullying of LGBT students — came under particularly heavy and sustained attack

So have any of these fears been realised? The answer seems to be a resounding "no"

For example, the South Australian government has ceased to fund the Safe Schools program, two years before the service provider's contract was due to expire

As a result, that program will end in secondary schools on July 13. The Government has indicated that it will be replaced with a general anti-bullying program, but this fails to recognise that LGBTI people have significantly poorer mental health and higher rates of suicide than other Australians because of the discrimination and bullying they are subjected to

In Victoria, Opposition Leader Matthew Guy has vowed to scrap the Safe Schools program if the Coalition wins the next election

So rather than marriage equality being the catalyst for more inclusive education, the opposite may be true

What about religious freedom? Marriage equality wasn't the end of the fight for LGBTI equality Most Australians probably think that now we have marriage equality, LGBTI people's rights are fully respected

Unfortunately, that's not the case.    The campaign around the marriage equality survey also saw opponents assert that allowing same-sex couples to marry would lead to a significant infringement on religious freedom

To allay these concerns, the Turnbull Government initiated an inquiry into whether Australian law adequately protects religious freedom

The panel delivered its report last month, but the Government has not yet released it to the public

There is concern among human rights advocates that rather than limiting the exemptions that religious organisations currently enjoy from anti-discrimination laws, the Government will expand the extent to which people can legitimately be discriminated against on the basis of sexual orientation or gender identity

America testing the limits Such concerns are not baseless, if the American experience is anything to go by

In the US, once opponents of marriage equality had lost that battle, they shifted their focus to arguing that service providers who have religious beliefs that reject homosexuality should be allowed to treat LGBTIQ people less favourably

This was the argument run in the US Supreme Court case of Masterpiece Cakeshop, in which a Colorado baker refused to make a wedding cake for a same-sex couple

Although the Supreme Court upheld the claim of the baker, it did so on the narrow ground that the Colorado Civil Rights Commission handled the original discrimination complaint against Masterpiece Cakeshop in a biased and unfair manner

The judges were very clear in stating that service providers should not be entitled to refuse to provide goods or services for same-sex weddings

Justice Kennedy noted that allowing discrimination against same-sex couples would cause: The Australian Christian Lobby has already suggested that this decision lends support to their argument that bakers, florists, motels and even lawyers should be able to refuse to provide goods and services in connection with same-sex weddings

External Link: Tweet by Lyle Shelton    However, as my colleague Luke Beck observed, there is nothing in the Masterpiece Cakeshop decision to support that position

On the contrary, "the Masterpiece case says that people who are accused of discrimination are entitled to a fair hearing and that gay people are entitled to dignified treatment"

More to be done Amending the Marriage Act to allow same-sex couples to wed was a significant step forward

But it is not a panacea. Law reform alone will never lead to true equality. South Africa is a stark reminder of this

It has had constitutional protection against discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity since 1996, but it is still an extremely dangerous place for LGBT people, with high rates of violent hate-based crimes

A 2017 report found four out of ten LGBT South Africans knew someone who had been murdered "for being or suspected of being" lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender

In Australia, the reform of marriage laws that we witnessed six months ago is just one piece of the jigsaw puzzle, albeit an important one

Amending laws contributes to transforming public opinion, but achieving long term change requires a more holistic approach

The elimination of discrimination against LGBT people won't be achieved until we have increased positive representation of sexual and gender diversity in films, education, the media and from religious leaders

We will know we have achieved true equality for LGBT people when we not only have laws that prevent a person being fired from their job or denied a service because of their sexual orientation or gender identity, but we also no longer have people arguing that they should be entitled to do so

Paula Gerber is a professor of human rights law at Monash University. This article originally appeared on The Conversation

Jason Tartick on The Bachelorette 2018: How Far Does He Make It | Heavy.com - Duration: 5:06.

Jason Tartick on The Bachelorette 2018: How Far Does He Make It | Heavy.com

Jason Tartick didn't get much screen time during the first half of the season for The Bachelorette 2018, but on episode 6, he finally gets his first solo date with star Becca Kufrin.

Now, before we get into what Tartick does for a living, where he's from and his fate on The Bachelorette, this is your MAJOR SPOILER WARNING.

If you do not want to know how far Tartick gets on the show, the reported winner, or any other season spoilers, STOP READING NOW.

With that out of the way, let's get into who Tartick is outside of The Bachelorette.

According to Reality TV World, Tartick, 29, is a senior corporate banker from Seattle, Washington, but his hometown is Buffalo, New York.

Currently, he works works as the vice president and senior middle market banker for Key Corporate & Commercial Bank.

During his first solo date with Kufrin, a couple of Tartick's friends join in on the date.

According to Reality Steve, the names of his two friends are David Arduin and Hawk Jameson.

As for the date itself, Tartick and Kufrin make donuts at a donut shop, visit the Edgar Allan Poe Museum, and then hit up the Veil brewing company.

On episode 7 this season, Tartick gets the group date rose, so his good luck with Kufrin continues.

He also makes it to the hometown dates, as reported by Reality Steve.

As for how this date went, Reality Steve reported, "Filming was Wednesday, April 18th in Buffalo, NY where he's originally from.

They sat in the stands, skated, and kissed at Harborcenter, then had a wing eating contest at Anchor Bar, before meeting his parents at their "house." Jason's parents live in Charlotte and Jason lives in Seattle now, so the house they used for this hometown was some local guy who had zero ties to the family.

It happens.

The house that was used was a house suggested to them by a friend of producer Bennett Graebner, who is a Buffalo native.".

The other three men who get hometown dates are Colton Underwood, Blake Horstmann, and Garrett Yrigoyen.

And, after the hometown dates, Underwood gets eliminated, which means that Tartick makes it to the final three for the overnight dates.

This year's fantasy suite dates take place in Chiang Mai, Thailand.

Unfortunately, this is as far as Tartick makes it since he gets eliminated after the overnights.

This means that the final two this season are Yrigoyen and Horstmann, but who does Kufrin wind up engaged to?.

Reality Steve has reported that Garrett Yrigoyen is The Bachelorette 2018 winner and the two are reportedly still together.

Hopefully, this engagement has a better shelf life than the one Kufrin had with former Bachelor star Arie Luyendyk Jr.

Now, while there have been some casting curve balls over the last few years, general Bachelor math has been that the second runner-up is often chosen to be the next star of The Bachelor (or The Bachelorette), so there's a decent chance that Tartick could be the star of The Bachelor 2019.

He at least has a good shot at it, right?.

How Much Better Is the NBA's Western Conference Than the Eastern Conference After LeBron's Lakers Mo - Duration: 5:25.

The NBA's Eastern Conference was already weak as hell last year. Then the greatest player in a generation decided to head West

We're of course talking about LeBron James signing a four-year deal with the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday, leaving behind his hometown Cleveland Cavaliers for the second time and beginning a new chapter with the league's most storied franchise

With his decision, James further diluted the talent pool of an already anemic Eastern Conference

That in mind, Newsweek parsed through Basketball Reference's win-shares league leaders for last season, listing the top 30 players in each conference now that James has defected to the West

For the uninitiated, win-shares effectively estimate how many wins a player was responsible for throughout the course of a season—and, like any stat, taken alone it is imperfect, but it's generally considered a decent measurement for overall performance

Recommended Slideshows76In Pictures: the Biggest Stadiums in the World51In Pictures: 50 Highest-Paid Athletes in the World32World's Most Valuable Sports Teams According to the stats collected by Newsweek, the top 30 players in the Western Conference totaled 279

3 win-shares last season. Post LeBron, the top 30 in the East, meanwhile, managed just 219

9. That's a difference of 54 wins or about a 25 percent gap between the West and the East

To put that in perspective, the entirety of the NBA's top five in win-shares—according to Basketball Reference—came from the Western Conference: Houston's James Harden (15

4), Los Angeles's LeBron James (14), Minnesota's Karl-Anthony Towns (14), New Orleans' Anthony Davis (13

7) and Portland's Damian Lillard (12.6). The Eastern Conference's Giannis Antetokounmpo (Milwaukee) was sixth at 11

9.   There are quite a few caveats to this stat, of course. Some players are likely overrated by it—looking at you Karl-Anthony Towns—while some players are likely underrated by it (looking at you Draymond Green and Joel Embiid)

Some players are absent who likely would have made the top 30 if not for injuries, such as the Spurs' Kawhi Leonard or the Celtics' Gordon Hayward

And some of the top players are likely to shift conferences in the weeks to come

But still the overall point stands: The Eastern Conference is really running low on top-level talent

As the Associated Press's Tim Reynolds wrote on Twitter: "There are 7 MVPs currently active in the NBA

All play in the West. There are 16 players who have been first-team All-NBA selections active

13 play in the West. West has guys with 168 All-Star appearances. East rosters have guys with 69 combined

" In other words: The Western Conference is chock full of firepower. The East is mostly water pistols

Games Inbox: How much are you looking forward to Fallout 76? - Duration: 13:25.

The evening Inbox discusses the benefits of a streaming video games console, as one reader wonders about No Man's Sky on Xbox One

To join in with the discussions yourself email gamecentral@ukmetro.co.uk    The human factor  I couldn't help agreeing with the reader writing in to say that Fallout 76 has potential disaster written all over it

I do say potential because I think there is a good chance it'll be good, but I also think imagining it's going to be super controversial is perfectly fair

This mod for Fallout: New Vegas made me laugh as it's meant to simulate the Fallout 76 experience… by adding the sound of people screaming over their mics at each other for no reason

I think we all know exactly where this is coming from and shows that a lot of people have similar worries about the game without ever really seeing it in action

I just feel the human factor is being forgotten in all this, and the reason we play a game like Fallout is because we know the computer isn't going to go off on one halfway through and start breaking the immersion

Multiplayer games like Fortnite and Destiny are great but then you don't have to speak to anyone and they rarely do anyway

Something like Fallout 76 just sounds like it's going to bring out the worst in everyone and I wonder how many people are really looking forward to it

Dettol PS: Also, doesn't its Christmas release date seem like a really bad idea?   Entry level  I can see their problem but I really hope Nintendo don't decide to make a sequel to the 3DS

It's not the hardware that's a problem it's the fact that they'd then have to start making games for it and surely they've learnt by now that they cannot keep two consoles going at a time all on their own

They're just not a big enough company to do that and you can see how little time they've been able to spend making 3DS games recently and the Switch still hasn't seen any real boost from the extra focus

I get that they need a cheap, entry level machine for kids but my feeling is that it's got to be something Android-based that can run their mobile games

I just don't see any other sensible option. Maybe combine it with the virtual console and make it a retro machine and then there'd be something to interest older games and give them a chance to play 'proper' games

People saying they should make a Game Boy 2 or something are already good but who's going to make the games? Are you willing to have a quarter less Switch games, at least, a year just to have a new portable?Shugga   One day  I was out game shopping with my son at the weekend and as I do every time we do this I picked up a copy of The Witcher, read the back of it (for about the hundredth time), looked at the interesting artwork/graphics, argued with myself internally, and then put it back on the shelf and said maybe next time

I don't know what it is about the game that stops me buying it because there's a part of me that thinks I might really like it but there's also a part of me that thinks I might not and keeps winning out (I think this may be something to do with the amount of time I expect to have to put in to complete it – just seems like too much life)

Made me think there might be a Hot Topic in this, i.e. the game that's right at the top of your list to play but you just never get round to playing it for whatever reason

Fully expect to play The Witcher before I pop my clogs though.Chris in Belfast      E-mail your comments to: gamecentral@ukmetro

co.uk    Life changer  I definitely believe gaming addiction is real. When I was 15 and 16 years old I was addicted to Championship Manager

I would sit in school and write down formations and possible signings rather than doing my schoolwork and unfortunately this coincided with me doing my GCSEs and it definitely contributed to me not doing as well as I could have

It actually took quite an extreme moment for me to stop playing the game. I lost a cup final to a last minute goal and in my anger, I ripped the disc out of my PC and smashed it but it was in the end a good thing to do

I still play games quite a bit but none have taken over my life the way Championship Manager had done back then

Sam   Size issues  As a gamer who deals almost entirely in digitally-delivered PC games but disc-based console games I will say that if the consoles go digital-only I'm out

I recently got myself an Xbox One and two games: Dead Rising 4 and ReCore. The first thing I had to do when I put the disc in was download a 42GB patch

This took forever and didn't work the first time of asking.  Now, I'm on a fairly mediocre BT internet connection and the download still took hours, for only the patch

How on earth will people play download-only games if their Internet is the same or worse than mine? Even now, never mind the future, games companies must be losing out on revenue due to making some games digital-only? I did no market research so that might not be true

I think a few things need to happen, one of those is making compression a lot better

Making a 20-60GB file a tenth the size to download would go a long way for people like me who don't play many multiplayer games so don't need a super-fast bells and whistles broadband, which probably represent a large majority of gamers

Of course the uncompressing end would need to be pretty hot too or you would still have to wait ages on the install to the console

Hopefully the 'middle out' algorithm works in real life (Silicon Valley joke).  Another thing is a new way of storing data on a console that can make a 500GB drive stretch the amount it can store, either that or sell the console day one with more storage removing the need for external drive

Bobwallett PS: anyone tried Zombie Night Terror? It's like Lemmings with zombies.     Waiting for the future  The benefits of streaming games to the customer are pretty clear and appealing

Games would run on vastly more powerful hardware than the average punter could afford, hardware you wouldn't need to replace or upgrade

You could also play your games across multiple devices, as long as it has a good enough Internet connection

There's the rub though. As the failed OnLive and the laggy PS Now service show we are someway from having the Internet required to make streamed games an alternative that matches the fluidity of gaming on dedicated hardware

But with the Goggle news and Microsoft clearly working Xbox towards a streaming service platform I can see streaming services coexisting with traditional ways of playing games until that unspecified future point comes when the Internet has a 1ms response time

Simundo Jones   1,962,000,000 to go  In response to Krakotow, a major benefit of not having a box under the TV is to open up the potential gaming market to millions of more people

Phil Spencer said the plan is to get 2 billion people playing on Xbox. That can only realistically be done through a service like Game Pass that runs on phones, TVs, and computers with no further hardware required (other than a controller)

Jeff    Catch up on every previous Games Inbox here    The best Lara  Interesting Tomb Raider/Uncharted Reader's Feature at the weekend

Tomb Raider was one of the games that got me into gaming and Uncharted is my favourite series ever

Totally agree with 'new' Lara's lack of personality. She's way too serious and I find Camilla Luddington's performance very lacking

She comes across as whiny to me most of the time! I always thought Crystal Dynamics' first three games (Legend, Anniversary, and Underworld) had the best Lara personality wise, which was largely due to Keely Hawes' performance

She delivered quips well, but also injected Lara with an edge of vulnerability as she looked for answers to what happened to her mother

None of the supporting cast in Tomb Raider stand out to me in any way, they just come off as bland stereotypes

Sure, the cast of Uncharted could be called stereotypes as well (Sully is the best friend/father figure, Elena the plucky 'girl next door' love interest, etc

) but the way they are scripted and brought to life by the actors who mocap/voice them make them feel alive and give Uncharted so much heart

I have grown so very fond of Nate and his little family over the course of the series

Personally though I always like a fight at the end of a game (Uncharted 4's was an epic sword fight against Rafe Adler on a burning pirate ship by the way!) as the feeling of defeating the bad guy gives me a sense of satisfaction and closure, but maybe that's just me!LastYearsModel   Inbox also-rans  Any news on how the Xbox One version of No Man's Sky is looking? I remember the original PlayStation 4 reviews being a rather mixed bag, but wondered if, after all the patches etc

, it might be worth a look?Kev    Crazy to see how well Crash Bandicoot is doing on all formats now

I'm not even going to bother to say the games aren't that good (they're not) but I am curious to see what the inevitable reboot is going to look like

Leopold   This week' Hot Topic  The subject for this weekend's Inbox was suggested by reader Puro, who asks what game did you have completely the wrong idea about until you played it properly?  Is there a game you assumed you wouldn't like, or was too similar to games you'd already played, which on further investigation you found was totally different to what you imagined? Had you already played the game a bit before you had your revelation or was it obvious from the moment you started?  Where did the wrong impression come from? Was it the marketing, reviews, or just what you assumed from word of mouth? How often are you surprised by a game in this way and how has it affected your subsequent play choices?  E-mail your comments to: gamecentral@ukmetro

Coffee's health benefits. Which coffee to drink and how much? (3) - Duration: 6:43.

- Dr. Chopra, you spoke about and wrote in your books that coffee is one of the most

important protectors of health. Dr. Anton Titov MD

Could you please expand on your idea and talk about the coffee's effect on health?

That's a great question!

So, as you mentioned, I'm a liver expert and I got very intrigued about 25 years ago when

I read that coffee drinkers have low levels of liver enzymes in the blood.

So when we go see our primary care physician once a year, they do a battery of blood tests

and amongst them they test for two liver enzymes, ALT and AST, and this was an observation that

people who drank coffee had lower levels [of ALT and AST].

When somebody has elevated levels [of ALT / AST], it's almost always indicative of liver

disease.

So this is intriguing.

But what does it mean?

Maybe there's something in coffee that interferes with the assay, and so you get lower levels.

But then studies came out that coffee drinkers have less hepatic fibrosis, they have less

scar tissue in the liver.

If there's lots of scar tissue in the liver, they totally distort the liver architecture,

with islands of liver cells totally surrounded by scar tissue, fibrosis, we call it cirrhosis.

So coffee drinkers had low levels of liver enzymes, they had less fibrosis.

Then a study in [journal] Gastroenterology that people who drank two cups of regular

coffee a day had a 50% reduction in hospitalization and mortality from chronic liver disease.

It turns out that primary liver cancer, cancer rising in the liver, is now the third leading

cause of cancer mortality in the world.

And multiple studies and a meta-analysis have shown that people who drink two cups of regular

coffee have 40% reduction in primary liver cancer mortality.

So low liver enzymes, less scarring, less fibrosis, less hospitalization less mortality,

less liver cancer.

It turns out that coffee drinkers also have a lower risk of four other common cancers:

metastatic prostate cancer, colon cancer, skin cancer, including malignant melanoma

- very deadly skin cancer, and endometrial cancer.

So five cancers - people who drink coffee have a lower incidence.

Low risk of Parkinson's disease, low risk of cognitive decline and early dementia, lower

risk of Type 2 diabetes.

And for type 2 diabetes, one has to drink six cups of coffee, regular or decaf, and

then there's a 40 to 54% reduction in risk of developing Type 2 diabetes.

If somebody already has type 2 diabetes and they drink two cups of coffee a day, regular

or decaf, there is a 30% reduction in cardiovascular mortality.

So, pretty impressive!

There are mechanistic explanations: coffee drinkers have low levels of CRP, low levels

of TNF alpha...

- Coffee reduces inflammation?...

- Yes, that may be the mechanism how coffee decreases many conditions, the risk of developing

them or even cancer, which we now know is linked with inflammation.

- C-Reactive Proteinis a sensitive marker for inflammation.

- True, so true!

So a study appeared in the New England Journal of Medicine about four years ago, and that

day I got about a hundred plus emails from colleagues around the country.

- "Sanjeev, you've been talking about coffee all these years and its potential health benefits

- You're vindicated!"

And the study in the New England Journal of Medicine said, "Men and women who drink coffee

have lower total and cause-specific mortality."

And then about six or eight months ago, an article in one of the nutrition journals showed

that people who drink coffee have longer telomeres.

So telomeres were described by Elizabeth Blackburn, an Australian scientist.

She got the Nobel Prize in Medicine or Physiology in 2009 with two other colleagues.

And shortened telomeres are linked with accelerated cellular aging.

So who has shortened telomeres?

Mothers of chronically disabled children, caregivers of people with Alzheimer's.

Who has longer telomeres?

And by inference they may live longer - we think they live longer - people who exercise,

people on the Mediterranean diet, people who meditate.

And then the recent study showed that people who drink coffee have longer telomeres.

Does it matter, which coffee to drink?

How much coffee one should drink?

What is the frequency [of coffee consumption for health benefits]?

It's great question!

The studies have simply asked, "Do you drink coffee?

Yes or no?"

If you drink coffee, how many cups do you drink?

And what is the size of the cup?

Do you drink regular or decaf?"

My take on it is: Drink regular coffee if you can.

It has more benefits than decaf.

And don't add cream or sugar substitutes.

I like to drink it black, make it simple.

So I don't have to worry about sugar and Splenda, and do I put milk?

And is milk cold? and it's going to make my coffee cold...

So I drink black coffee.

If somebody wants to sweeten it, add sugar.

Don't use artificial substitutes.

Artificial sugars are turning out to produce worse glucose intolerance, because it actually

changes the microbiome in the GI tract.

This is one of the hottest topics in medicine, [gut] microbiome.

Microbiome has been called "the second human genome, the inner bacterial rainforest."

There are trillions of bacteria in our GI tract.

In aggregate their weight is 3 pounds.

It's a newly discovered organ!

So if you want to have a Coca Cola, have a Coca Cola.

Maybe have one third, savor it, enjoy it, rather than have a Diet Coke, which has only

one calorie but actually has many injurious health effects.

How much does freight forwarding really cost? - Duration: 1:59.

Hello my name is Jenny Robson I am the founder of Routes and Branches limited and this week I'm taking part in

Nicola Cairncross' 30 day challenge to be everywhere online. My videos are all

going to be about export challenges and they are targeted at first time

exporters or businesses that are beginning to export and want to really

make the most of a global strategy. So I'm going to give you a series of

twelve videos with twelve tips about different aspects of exporting overseas.

It is not possible for me to give you a precise indication of freight forward costs but I

can give you an outline of some of the determinants of freight costs.

They are; mode of transport ie air freight can be significantly more expensive than

transit by road rail our ship distance and destination the further your goods

have to travel the more usual the destination the higher the costs are

likely to be particularly due to rising fuel costs weight and volume also

affects charges some charges are use are based on the weight of goods were

LeBron Contract 2018: How Much Is Salary With Lakers? | Heavy.com

LeBron James is heading to Los Angeles.

LeBron James has agreed to to sign a four year, $154 million contract with the Los Angeles Lakers per Klutch Sports.

James has agreed to join the Lakers, but cannot sign the contract until July 6 at the earliest.

ESPN's Brian Windhorst reported James will have a player option for his fourth year, meaning he can opt out of his deal after the third season.

The exact terms of the contract has not been disclosed, but James is expected to have a max salary each year.

Here's James' projected salary numbers according to Spotrac.

YEAR SALARY 2018-19 $35,654,150 2019-20 $37,436,858 2020-21 $39,219,565 2021-22 (player option) $41,002,273.

According to Spotrac, James made $33.2 million with the Cavaliers last season.

James will start out with a little more than $2 million raise.

The big thing to note is James agreeing to sign a long-term deal with the Lakers for at least three years, with the potential for a fourth year.

This gives the Lakers time to build a roster around James without the pressure of worrying about James is eyeing green pastures.

James chose to reveal his decision in the simplest form possible.

For James first jump into free agency, James announced he was signing with the Heat in an ESPN special called "The Decision." When James decided to return to Cleveland, he did it through a heartfelt letter in Sports Illustrated.

As James announced his intention to head to Los Angeles, his agency, Klutch Sports, released a one sentence press release.

The Ringer's Paolo Uggetti detailed why James committing to the Lakers for four years is a major deal.

The deal reportedly has an opt-out after the third season, but the structure of the deal is surprising nonetheless—it's the longest he's signed since 2010.

For the past three seasons with the Cavs, LeBron has worked only in two-year deals with player options after the first year, which allowed him to make the most money while also maintaining flexibility for his future.

A four-year deal is telling.

He wants to be in Los Angeles for the long run.

The move was telegraphed as far back as last season.

The signs were there (the Brentwood houses, his son's early basketball success), and yet, there was always the question: Would LeBron actually leave Cleveland again? In retrospect, there was no better option for his future.

Los Angeles provided LeBron with not only a familiar landscape, but also a bevy of cap space for a second star.

It's also a team that boasts a young roster with plenty of assets to trade for a third star if need be.

LeBron's arrival is only the first domino; there is a lot more the Lakers have to do, but at least now, they have a clear objective: Surround the best player in the world with enough talent to take down the Warriors dynasty.

There have been conflicting reports on whether James has a player option for the fourth season.

ESPN's Stephen A.

Smith reported James does not have an opt-out in the new contract.
