Fed Up Trey Gowdy Fires Warning Shot At Washington D C !

Trey Gowdy is the last Congressman liberals want to see digging into corruption.

He made his name investigating Hillary Clinton's conduct during the Benghazi scandal and uncovered

her private email server.

Now, his new role has the left terrified.

Congressman Gowdy announced he was taking a seat on the Intelligence Committee.

Gowdy taking a seat on the Intelligence Committee could not come at a more opportune time.

Obama administration political appointees in the intelligence community repeatedly leaked

stories to the press designed to smear then President-elect Trump.

Shortly before the Electoral College vote, stories appeared in The Washington Post and

NBC News about reports that it was the assessment of the intelligence community that Russian

President Vladimir Putin ordered Russian hackers to interfere in the election in order to help

elect Trump.

Obama's political people at the CIA and other intelligence agencies leaked the story

to paint Trump as a Russian agent, and maybe even influence the Electoral College vote.

After the Electoral College affirmed Trump's victory, an opposition research memo prepared

by an ex-British intelligence agent for political opponents of Trump surfaced in the press — after

it was included in a briefing for President Obama and Vice President Biden.

The memo was filled with unverified and debunked gossip that alleged Trump committed scandalous

acts while traveling in Russia, and that his associate met with agents of the Kremlin.

The memo alleged the Russian government possessed compromising information on Trump.

All of it was false, but many believed it was leaked to the press by Obama political

appointees in the intelligence community.

Some Republicans were outraged.

Senator Rand Paul declared someone should go to jail for these leaks.

GO TO THE FBI AND SAY 'HERE'S THIS INFORMATION.' IF A PUBLIC OFFICIAL TAKES PRIVATE INFORMATION

THAT YOU ARE BEING BLACKMAILED WITH TO THE FBI AND THEN IT LEAKS INTO THE PUBLIC DOMAIN,

THAT IS INEXCUSABLE, AND REALLY SOMEBODY SHOULD GO TO JAIL AND WE HAVE NOT TALKED ABOUT THIS

ENOUGH. A LEAK LIKE THAT IS SO SIGNIFICANT IF IT CAME FROM THE INTELLIGENCE COMMUNITY,

Adult Film Star Ron Jeremy Sued by Washington Woman Who Claims He Sexually Assaulted Her - Duration: 3:28.

 A 22-year-old Washington woman has filed a civil lawsuit against former adult film actor Ron Jeremy, alleging he sexually assaulted her last November when both attended a promotional event at an adult retailer in Tacoma

 The alleged incident happened at Castle Megastore on Sept. 22, 2017.  According to the suit, which was obtained by PEOPLE, the woman sued Jeremy after local authorities declined to file criminal charges against the actor, who was born Ronald Hyatt

 The complainant, Kristen Brodie, was a college student working as a promotional model

She was attending the event as a representative for KISW, a Seattle radio station

 (PEOPLE does not usually identify alleged victims of sex crimes, but Brodie, through her attorney, has agreed to be named

)  The suit alleges Brodie was groped and sexually assaulted by Hyatt four times over the course of the evening

 The suit alleges that during separate attacks, Hyatt fondled Brodie's breasts and buttocks, and that he "forcefully" digitally penetrated her

 The suit alleges that afterward, Hyatt asked, 'Did that give you goosebumps?'"  Hyatt is also accused of putting his mouth on Brodie's breasts in the lawsuit

 During one of the alleged attacks, Hyatt allegedly brushed away one of his own handlers, telling them, "I'll be done in a sec[ond]," the suit alleges

 The suit seeks unspecified damages.  PEOPLE could not reach Hyatt's lawyer, Stuart Goldfarb, for comment, but he told the Seattle Post-Intelligencer his client denies touching Brodie's genitals

 "He absolutely denies that," Goldfarb said. "He didn't put his finger into her

"  The lawyer told the paper his client is innocent, saying, "Women often line up and there's mutual touching

He in many cases autographs their breast and it's consensual."  Goldfarb added, "I don't know if he pulled her shirt down, but I know that he may have touched her breast, he may have kissed her on the back of her neck and he's been doing this for 40 years and has never had a problem

… She came back after she said he touched her and was doing a selfie with him. … If in fact it she felt it was inappropriate, she should have said something and believe me, he wouldn't have touched her

Austin Rivers sees trade to Washington as 'a great opportunity for me' - Duration: 5:40.

Austin Rivers remembers sitting on his balcony, enjoying a lazy moment during an offseason that he has dedicated to improving his weaknesses, when he received an incoming call

On the other end was Los Angeles Clippers assistant coach Sam Cassell with news that would disrupt this summer serenity

Cassell advised Rivers to relax, remember to breathe, just stay calm — because he was about to be traded

As Rivers recalled this story to reporters Monday afternoon at Capital One Arena, he shared the raw emotions that a player feels upon learning that he'd soon become a business transaction

Complicating matters further is that the team that traded him away is coached by his father, Doc Rivers

Then, Rivers explained how his shock turned to enthusiasm when he found out which team he would be joining

He could relax and breathe a bit easier because he'd soon be in Washington, a location too serendipitous to disregard

Rivers grew up in amateur basketball competing against Bradley Beal. He has spent the past few weeks working out in Miami with the same trainer as John Wall

  Overall, Rivers, 25, joins a Wizards team with players in similar stages of life and career

Los Angeles had been home for three-and-a half years, but in Washington, Rivers sees a welcome mat and a chance for a fresh start

"Very excited to be here," Rivers said during his introduction Monday. "It's like an old AAU team

" In January 2015, the Clippers traded for Rivers, who had spent the start of his young career floundering in New Orleans

While the situation in L.A. created fun trivia — Austin became the first player in NBA history to be coached by his dad — it also forced Rivers to play in the elder's shadow

The perception of nepotism dogged Rivers even as he progressed into a capable professional

"People either loved it or people either hated it. It was one or the other," Rivers said, chuckling at the memory

"But it was something I'll never forget. I don't think obviously he will. When I get older, I'll probably reflect on it

… I'll be like, 'Man, I can't believe that even happened.' But with that came a lot of stuff

" Still while facing criticism, Rivers developed into a two-way player — because he had to

Rivers entered the league without a strong jumper, so he made himself useful as a defender

"I promise you I didn't play any defense at Duke," Rivers joked. Then once he grew confident with his shot, Rivers became a scoring threat from the perimeter

Rivers credited Cassell for helping him develop into an off-the-dribble shooter, and over the past two seasons with the Clippers, he attempted 1,536 three-pointers with 43-percent accuracy

With Rivers's ability to play with the team's starting backcourt, as well as spell Wall and Beal from defending the opponent's top guards, the Wizards believe they've found another piece that suits their plans

"The way he plays fits in real well with what we're trying to do," team president Ernie Grunfeld said

"And that's move up and down the floor a little bit more. Be able to switch out on the perimeter and the more players you have that are versatile and that can create not only for themselves but for others, the better off you are

" After Rivers finished revisiting the day he learned he would be traded, and performing a spot-on Cassell impersonation, he repeatedly expressed excitement for landing in Washington

Here, he wants to relax, breathe and just play basketball. "This is a great opportunity for me to come here and just compete and play without all of that stuff that comes with it," Rivers said, referring to his previous time while playing under his father

"But more importantly, just being on a playoff team, man. That's the most fun. I mean, not making the playoffs this year was horrendous

Like just sitting here on the couch and watching these guys because that's the only thing that matters is playing at that level

Just being on a playoff team is very exciting for me."

) * Excessive heat warning through 8 p.m. * The National Weather Service has issued an excessive heat warning for the Washington and Baltimore regions through 8 p

m. Tuesday, the most severe heat alert. "The combination of extreme temperatures and high humidity will create a dangerous situation in which heat illnesses are expected," the Weather Service said

At 1:10 p.m., the air temperature in Washington soared to 97 degrees while the dew point, an indicator of humidity, stood at 75 degrees

That combination produced a stifling heat index, or measure of how hot the air feels, of 110 degrees

The Weather Service issues a heat warning when heat index values reach 110 or are predicted to rise that high

Area under excessive heat warning through 8 p.m. (National Weather Service) Both the air temperature of 97 and the heat index of 110 early Tuesday afternoon marked the highest levels of the summer of 2018 so far

The Weather Service advised checking in on relatives and neighbors. Older adults and anyone without access to air-conditioning are most vulnerable to heat-related illness

"Take extra precautions if you work or spend time outside," it said. "When possible, reschedule strenuous activities to early morning or evening

Know the signs and symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke. Wear light weight and loose fitting clothing when possible and drink plenty of water

" Tuesday has produced the week's most extreme heat and humidity despite earlier forecasts which called for Sunday and Monday to be the hottest days of this heat wave

On Sunday, the high temperature was 93 with peak heat index values in the low 100s

Monday hit 95 with a heat index as high as 107. Tuesday marked the fifth straight day with highs of at least 90 degrees

The heat in Washington started early in the day Tuesday. The morning's low temperature only fell to 80 degrees which, if it stands, will mark a record high low temperature for the date, passing the previous mark of 79 from 1898 and 2002

By 10 a.m., the temperature in Washington was the highest in the nation on Weather

com's map: It's unlikely, however, that Washington will set a record high maximum temperature

The record high of 101, last set in 1966 (and before that in 1873 and 1872), should not be reached

Nonetheless, the heat and humidity have generated plenty of griping among Washingtonians

"D.C. is a hellscape, and I am not referring to the politics," tweeted Naomi Eide

"Every day I think it's going to be the hottest day, then the next day is worse," tweeted Nancy Duley

Wednesday, July 4, should actually show some improvement as the wind flow comes off the ocean, capping highs to around 90, though it will remain quite humid

Heat index values should still come close to 100.

For his part, Rooney insists he has not gone to America to retire, though it was not his decision to leave Everton just 12 months after rejoining his old club

Rooney returned to his boyhood club last July and finished the season as Everton's leading scorer but major shareholder Farhad Moshiri was key in the decision to let him move
