's, record hot dog eater Juliet Lee shared her secret to competitive eating ahead of the Fourth of July holiday.
"You have to have the stomach capacity.
This is the most important," Lee told Hill.TV's Krystal Ball and Buck Sexton on "Rising.".
"Then the day of the real contest is lots of mental game.
So you just don't give up.
You keep going," she said. .
She also said she dips the hot dog bun in hot tea before eating it so she can eat it as fast as possible.
Lee, who is 5'5" and 100 pounds, is among the top-ranked world eating champions in the world.
She first got into the world of competitive eating after her daughters entered her in a local eating contest.
Lee said that some people are better at competitive eating than others, no matter how much they train.
"Either you can or you cannot," Lee said.
"After training, you get better, but if you cannot eat, it doesn't matter how hard you train." .
Lee will compete in the 2018 Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest on Coney Island on Wednesday .
