Donald Trump Shook Up Washington With One Major Announcement

Donald Trump was sent to Washington to shake up the status quo.

Trump supporters want to see the swamp drained.

That finally happened when Trump rocked Washington with one huge announcement.

Trump has been dissatisfied with his National Security Advisor H.R. McMaster.

McMaster – a three star General – was one of Trump's globalist advisors.

He advocated for remaining on Obama's Iran nuclear deal and Paris Global Warming Accords.

McMaster also boxed the President in on sending more troops to Afghanistan.

So Trump fired McMaster on Thursday and replaced him with John Bolton.

Bolton has served in three previous Republican administrations as Assistant Attorney General,

Under Secretary of State, and U.N. Ambassador.

He is well known for his conservative views and has spent the last two years defending

Trump's America First agenda on trade.

He also shares the President's suspicions on globalist institutions like the United

Nations.

Politico reports:

"BOLTON IS A CONTROVERSIAL FIGURE ON THE INTERNATIONAL STAGE.

HE CHEERED ON THE 2003 INVASION OF IRAQ, CALLED FOR BOMBING IRAN TO STOP ITS NUCLEAR PROGRAM,

DISMISSED THE IDEA OF A TWO-STATE SOLUTION IN THE MIDDLE EAST AND DERIDED THE UNITED

NATIONS, WHERE HE ONCE SERVED AS U.S. AMBASSADOR IN THE GEORGE W. BUSH ADMINISTRATION.

LIKE TRUMP, HE HAS AN INTENSE WARINESS OF INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS, AND HAS ALSO

QUESTIONED THE INTELLIGENCE COMMUNITY'S CONCLUSION THAT RUSSIA INTERFERED IN THE 2016

U.S. PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION."

The foreign policy establishment will be horrified by Bolton's appointment.

That's because Bolton rejects the liberal world order that has benefited the global

elites at the expense of American sovereignty.

While some Trump supporters are wary of Bolton's past hawkishness, he told the President he

has no intentions of trying to talk him into starting any foreign wars.

Major Scandal In Washington DC – AG Jeff Sessions Caught Obstructing POTUS!!! - Duration: 13:11.

Major Scandal In Washington DC – AG Jeff Sessions Caught Obstructing POTUS!!!

Prior to President Trump's warning to U.S.'s sanctuary cities that they must comply with

immigration officials otherwise pay the price, Attorney General Jeff Sessions supported that

same warning with a statement of his own.

"The American people know that when cities and states refuse to help enforce immigration

laws, our nation is less safe," Attorney General Sessions during a media briefing,

noting that federal officials could dry out funding to cities and counties that shelter

illegal aliens.

"Such policies cannot continue," Sessions stated.

"They make our nation less safe by putting dangerous criminals back on the street."

Sessions said that he doesn't ask much, only obedience to the law of the U.S.

"Today, I am urging states and local jurisdictions to comply with these federal laws," he added.

Jeff Sessions paid especial attention to Maryland, which is strongly determined to become a sanctuary

state.

This move comes up at the same time as the incident in the Rockville, Md.

Highschool, in which a 14-year-old has been raped by two older students, of whom at least

one is an illegal immigrant.

"I would plead with the people of Maryland to understand this makes the state of Maryland

more at risk for violence and crime, that it's not good policy," he said, calling

the policy "a mistake."

It is mandatory by the federal law that every police agency informs immigration authorities

if and when an illegal alien is taken into custody.

However, cities such as Chicago, New York City, San Francisco and others alike, constantly

fail to do this.

As we all remember, President Trump issued an executive order in January cracking down

on sanctuary cities.

"Sanctuary jurisdictions across the United States willfully violate Federal law in an

attempt to shield aliens from removal from the United States.

These jurisdictions have caused immeasurable harm to the American people and to the very

fabric of our Republic," Trump's order said.

"Tens of thousands of removable aliens have been released into communities across the

country, solely because their home countries refuse to accept their repatriation.

Many of these aliens are criminals who have served time in our Federal, State, and local

jails.

The presence of such individuals in the United States, and the practices of foreign nations

that refuse the repatriation of their nationals, are contrary to the national interest,"

the order continued.

This same executive order permitted Attorney General Sessions to "ensure that jurisdictions

that willfully refuse to comply … are not eligible to receive Federal funding, except

as proved necessary for law enforcement purposes by the Attorney General or the Secretary."

He claimed that the administration is more than ready to cut funding if it proved necessary,

and stated that communities applying for DOJ funding now must prove that they comply with

the immigration law.

Denzel Washington Is Giving Back to the Boys & Girls Club: It 'Helped Make Me the Man I Am Today' - Duration: 3:19.

Denzel Washington is helping raise money for the organization that made a big impact on his life when he was as a child

The Oscar winner, 63, is partnering up with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America to auction off a trip to the Los Angeles premiere of The Equalizer 2 in exchange for donations made to the organization

Washington himself was part of the club during his childhood and tells PEOPLE it still plays a vital role in his life

"The Boys & Girls Club helped make me the man that I am today," he tells PEOPLE

"The staff at the Mt. Vernon Boys & Girls Club invested their time in developing me and that is why I have been the National spokesperson for Boys & Girls Clubs of America for more than 20 years

"  The winner will receive a trip to L.A. with a two-night stay in a "swanky hotel," two tickets to the premiere and after party and a meet and greet opportunity with Washington

The Boys & Girls Clubs of America is a national organization that provides after-school programs and services for children across 4,300 chapters, serving 4

3 million kids.  Washington recently penned a personal essay for Essence about his time in the Boys & Girls Club during his childhood just north of Manhattan

In the essay, Washington highlighted the 2017 Boys & Girls Clubs of America National Youth of the Year recipient Carlos Polanco, who also shares a passion for the club

"I grew up in Mount Vernon, N.Y., about 30 miles from where Carlos grew up, across the Hudson, just north of the Bronx," he recalled in the essay

"Too many of my childhood friends had little structure or guidance. Some had run-ins with the law and ended up in prison

That could have been me."  He continued, "But, like Carlos, I was lucky. My father was a Pentecostal preacher who taught me the importance of faith

My mother was a beautician who sacrificed to get me the best education possible. But I also had a local Boys & Girls Club with mentors who cared and gave me the confidence I needed to set higher goals than I might have

Washington's temperature hasn't dropped below 80 degrees in 80 hours - Duration: 3:45.

Kristi Agosto, right, holds her son Vincent, 1, as Katie Parker, left, and her 1-year-old son Jack try to cool off at Beverly Triton Beach in Edgewater, Md

, on July 3. (Michael Robinson Chavez/The Washington Post) Washington is in the final day of a week-long heat wave

Since last Friday, the temperature has hit at least 90 degrees every day. The afternoon heat and humidity have been punishing, feeling as hot as 110 degrees

But the round-the-clock lack of relief from the heat has proved most notable. For 80 hours now, starting at 8 a

m. Monday, the temperatures has remained at or above 80 degrees. This lack of cooling, and string of sultry nights, ranks among the most extreme on record

Thursday is set to mark the third straight calendar day with temperatures remaining above 80 (unless the temperature falls unexpectedly into the 70s before midnight), which would rank among the top seven longest stretches on record, dating back to 1872

All of the 10 longest periods above 80 degrees have occurred since 1999, and eight out of 10 since 2010

In 2013, the temperature remained at least 80 for 138 hours. The second longest streak, in 2016, it remained that warm for 133 hours

The third longest streak in 2011 lasted 128 hours. The current streak is likely to end around 90 hours, in the early morning Friday

Because of low temperatures of just 80 Wednesday and Thursday, Washington notched record warm minimum temperatures both days

Tuesday's record surpassed the previous mark of 79 set in 1898 and 2002, while Wednesday's muggy low tied 2002

Lows of 80 degrees and higher, now commonplace, were once very rare. They occurred just 26 times from 1872 to 1999 or about once every five years

Since 2000, they've happened 37 times (including Thursday) or twice every year on average

(Ian Livingston) The proliferation of these extremely high low temperatures is the expected result of climate warming in Washington, both from urbanization and increasing greenhouse gas concentrations in the atmosphere

The high low temperatures have consequences as they signify limited nighttime cooling which, for people without access to air-conditioning, can be extremely taxing on the body and the cause of heat-related illness

A big cold front sweeping through the Washington region Friday will put an end to this extended sauna-like stretch

Much lower humidity and cooler temperatures arrive this weekend. Low temperatures will sink into the 60s and even upper 50s in some of the Washington region's cooler areas

Ian Livingston contributed to this report.
