Review of Resource 1: The Reason for God by Timothy Keller - Duration: 3:53.

Now, the resource I want to share with you, in this video, is this book.

It's Called, The Reason for God: Belief in the

Age of Skepticism, written by Timothy Keller.

It is the most wonderful book written, that I have read in a long time,

explaining the Christian faith.

It is easy to read, easy to follow, and full of insights.

And yet, you don't feel like you're back at school reading a textbook.

I aspire to write like this someday.

Absolutely beautiful.

He begins by breaking the book into two sections.

In the first section, he answers some common objections to the Christian faith.

As you can see here, he covers some of the toughest objections there are.

There can't be just one religion.

I hear that one a lot.

How could a good God allow suffering?

How can a loving God send people to hell?

Oh, and here's one of my favorites, science has disproved Christianity.

You've heard some of these objections I'm sure.

And yes, they are very tough objections.

And yet, Keller has this great ability to respectfully walk through each and every one

of them as he answers each and every one of them.

And then, not being satisfied with simply showing that there are no reasons not to believe,

in the second section, he then offers actual reasons for accepting the Christian faith.

He shows you the clues of God, clues that God exists.

He talks about the knowledge of God, where such ideas as moral obligation and human rights

actually come from.

He talks about religion and the gospel and shows the differences that actually exist

between these two.

And then my favorite reasons are both the true story of the cross and the reality of

the Resurrection.

Now, in the true story of the cross, he lays out exactly why Jesus had

to die and why he could not just simply forgive everybody.

And then, in the reality of the Resurrection, he lays out the evidences for believing in

the Resurrection.

And he shows how it is simply a desire to not follow the evidence where it leads that

causes people to dismiss the Resurrection as a myth.

And it's written in a way that's easy to understand.

Now, as you read this book I hope that you gain valuable insight into your faith

and into who God is.

And I hope that you enjoy this book as much as I did.

It's one of my favorite Christian books of all time.

Hello everyone and welcome for this new Gear Insights.

Today we are here to tell you about our insulation jackets.

We asked Yeti to equip us in our quest of getting the best and lightest equipment for this adventure

and today we will tell you a bit about our two Yeti jackets.

First, let us tell you that Yeti has not paid us.

We contacted Yeti before the trip

because we wanted to equip ourselves with their gear.

What makes such a big difference!

One of the reason why we picked our partners is their ethics.

and on that side Yeti I think is kind of an example.

Everything is built in Europe,

only with clean and ethical products.

They are proud of using the finest down you can find.

Everything is traceable and they respect animals.

Of course our needs were a bit different depending on the seasons.

You can imagine with all our equipment: electronics, video, photography, our packs are heavy.

Therefore we really looked for what could be

at the same time, extralight, to have a good warmth-to-weight ratio

and to be resistant.

We also needed something very compact and not bulky that we can pack in our bags easily.

That was pretty much what we needed!

We were actually looking for the best system that could be layered.

It is something that people are more and more considering:

the base layer, mid-layer, insulation layer.

For all the warm moments, that we will call "summer",

we decided to take in our packs the Strato and the Cirrus jackets.

With the Strato and the Cirrus, Yeti won consecutively two awards in the Outdoor Industry.

It is Yeti's lightest possible jacket!

It is only 150 grams.

It packes in a very very small size.

Its warmth-to-weight ratio is quite crazy.

The jacket can be packed in one of the two large pockets.

The down is water repellent,

without PFC, what is really nice,

and we use it a lot on the night at the camps,

for all the passive moments in which we don't hike.

the fabric is extremely light

and we believe that it would be a big weak to carry a 25 kilograms pack.

But when we need to do so, we add on the top a hardshell to be sure not to damage the jacket.

For the mid-season, we use actually another jacket:

the Ace jacket

In both men and women versions.

This jacket is a bit more heavy,

it is 420 grams in the medium size version.

You can imagine, it is a lot warmer.

The down is 800+ European.

This is one of our preferred pieces of equipment.

The hood is just adjustable in 3 ways

to have a perfectly tight and wind free insulation on the head.

We love the elastic cups on the sleeves and the elastic at the waist,

making the jacket able to keep you warm even when it's windy.

Inside the jacket,

the compartments are made with an H construction.

This makes a huge difference when it's windy and we love it!

We believe that it's a very well-balanced jacket for the weight of fleece.

This is so much warmer!

For the winter, we are just planning on cumulating both of the jackets

using the Strato as the first insulation layer

and the Ace on the top.

We will be able to be warm in the worth weathers with crazy temperatures

and whenever we need to do so we can add on the top a windbreaker jacket or a rain jacket.

It is faster to dry,

you can also in the winter use one of the jacket and keep the other one for safety measures in your pack.

We try to wash them with down respectful products.

Once in a while we make again the water repellent treatment.

You can put it in the dryer with cold air and tennis balls for example.

This will give back to the jacket its best fluffiness and make it like new again.

Oh how's it going today we got some special just do it okay if

you're new to the channel I do a lot of golf tips and drill videos to help your

old old dude for a long long time so I haven't really been able to recommend a

good one I got this from a fairway pro a few weeks ago I'll put a link to that

video right up here I really like that by the way it's a great portable one and

so far probably the best one I've used but it's not a full-size hitting mat and

it is kind of expensive for the kind of this small mat unit but still I do think

it's worth it I really like it to be honest today I've got this boom and now

I'll be honest with you I'm a little concerned about this right off the bat

because it's it's not very heavy it's pretty light so we'll see I mean how

good could it be how thick could it be I don't know we're gonna find out let's

dig in learn more about this puppy

I'm careful I don't want to cut my mat

initial thoughts just right out of the box it's it's light so I mean that's

good and bad my concern is that it's not as thick and durable like those um the

above the ball before you hit which is what you want anyways especially out of

the rough because you don't want that club getting

caught in the rough so I do like the rough on that my Matt yeah it's

definitely old so it's net it hasn't felt good in many

years I wouldn't recommend it the fairway Pro that's nice it's certainly

it's a little louder a lot louder I'm outside so it doesn't bother me or

anybody where's your indoors maybe you got a upstairs loft or

something might bother the downstairs people hard to say and really I want to

dig in I don't hit some wedge and see what it's like let's do it

so one thing I do recommend is when you hit off a Matt I do prefer it on the

grass because there's a lot more cushion even underneath the mat itself it's not

just cement which I never have liked the downside is uh you're gonna have uneven

lies with your feet when you're practicing but guess what when you're on

the golf course you have uneven lines all the time so I do highly recommend

just straight on the grass don't have to level it all out does that be perfect

let's see let's see if we could tea them up so so far just the downside of that

there's no place to tee up the ball you'd have to you could use your tee

claw this is a tee claw I'll leave a link for these two and they you can put

a tee in here and they screw into the mat so let's see if they work those work

perfectly also just another thing to note watch this my foots coming off

people don't like that and especially if you're taller it's gonna hit you have

more of an issue so the square guys are gonna be gonna be

a lot more usable for you bigger you bigger folks but then go really wide

over here no problem

Autel MK808BT MaxiCOM Wireless Bluetooth OBDII Professional Scan Tool Review - Duration: 16:06.

alright guys this is my review of the odd tell professional scan tool maxi

comm MK 808 bT it connects to your vehicle wirelessly through bluetooth

anyway this is gonna be more of a review video not a how-to video and it's not an

unboxing video either it's more of just a review but I do want to show you

what's in the box just so you know in case you order one

anyway this sleeves slides off the case and it's probably gonna be hard to do

with one hand so give me a second here I'll pull that off okay I got the sleeve

off so let's see what's in the box it's your typical plastic blow mold case this

one's actually pretty decent it's better than some of the other ones

I've seen and in the lid here is the manual everything is held in with you

actually pretty heavy duty velcro straps over here in this bag is it comes with

the power brick and two USB cords I've got one already taken out this is the

long USB cord with the charging power brick and then of course the scanner

itself pretty nicely made this is basically an Android tablet I don't know

who makes the physical hardware if it's a gel or

saying I don't know who makes it but it's got this flip out stand on the back

it's got the holder for the obd2 bluetooth dongle whatever you want to

call it and what's nice about this is right here on the bluetooth connector

there's a USB port and then on the back of the tablet itself

there's the on-the-go USB port a full-size USB port the power button the

HDMI connector which is kind of nice and of course a memory card slot but what

I'm saying is you can actually connect the the bluetooth dongle to the scanner

with the cord if for whatever reason the Bluetooth signal doesn't work or you

can't get it to pair with the do with us but the tablet whatever the case may be

this is set up so you can plug in a cable from there

to there and do this with a wire but so anyway let me get this thing out of the

back of here put this thing out like this turn the

Sun maybe I didn't press it long enough there we go

okay so now I'm gonna put this down here and get it connected to my if you look

down here I got it plugged in what's nice about this is as soon as the tablet

comes on this thing pairs very quickly to the tablet all by itself that loud

buzzer on the tablet just buzz and then you can see the blue light just came on

the obd2 bluetooth dongle that means it's paired as soon as you turn it on

and the it pairs immediately so that that part's nice let's go into the thing

here you can just okay so we got Diagnostics service let's

go to service so this is more of a this is more of a service tool as opposed to

a full-on Pro scan tool this has some minimal bi-directional controls it's not

full bi-directional but you know you can do the the reset the oil you know back

off electric parking brakes tire pressure monitoring system a battery

management system it will do the auto bleed on vehicles that are capable of

doing an auto bleed it's got the diesel particulate filter stuff I don't have a

diesel so I don't know much about that this will program keys and immobilizer I

think it'll do key fobs and actual keys themselves odometer language change you

can change tire size and there's there's quite a bit of stuff that this will do

and like I said you know I'm not a full-on mechanic so some of this stuff I

don't know about this is like I said this is not a how-to video this is more

of a general review I have used it and well not I didn't need to but I have

tried the brake bleed just to see that does work on my oh six GMC truck I have

actually programmed the new key fob with it go into the windows door roof so for

an example of what this will do go into manual selection okay I've got a

no.6 light duty GMC truck case series level radio it's establishing

communication and what's nice up here in the corner it does have the battery

voltage always displayed so anyway like I said this is not a full bi-directional

scanner but it does have some hot functions so for example passenger door

module let's go over there so let me close the case down here and show you

the now I'll see if I can get the whole thing in the shot here I can go to door

unlock and lock if you can see the door lock up there in the corner I can right

here on the screen I can hit unlock or lock I should try it'll do a lock unlock

it'll lock and unlock doors right from the the tablet heating and air

conditioning mode door position you can adjust the mode doors on here you know

like I said this is not you know mode selection panel you can I got the air

conditioning on right now because it's kind of hot out today but and it's also

raining but body control modules let's

see right rear window left rear window let's see body control right rear window

let's try this this is a four-door truck here so you can see it's got the up and

down buttons so I'm gonna show you the the window here down I get down on the

thing I'll hit back up so I mean like I said

it does not have full bi-directional but it does some stuff which I was actually

impressed with I didn't think it would do this even this does have full live

view for all data I think they're called data pins this has a full live view of

all the data that is monitored in your vehicle's ECM now this is only a 2006

you know so obviously it's you know it's quite a few years old modern vehicles

have more electronics and therefore their computers their computers monitor

more stuff it's going to Diagnostics the GM manual selection well actually let's

go back and we'll do escape we'll do automatic selection okay hit to read

it's going to automatically find the VIN on this vehicle okay

actually it does have an automatic transfer case four button selectable I

have dual manual an uplevel radio I'm under eighty six hundred that is my

truck so keep in mind like I said this is a

2006 it's not that new obviously more modern vehicles have way more live data

than this thing probably but so we'll go on to control unit this shows all the

different and you can see down here there's two pages but this shows all of

the different things that it can monitor will go to powertrain live data will go

to engine live data engine live data one so these are all the different you know

in this vehicle sometimes it takes a second to populate

those are those blanks I see my long term and short term as it's come around

this thing this is long story this truck had an issue with that a while ago which

I think I got taken care of but and actually one of the reasons why I bought

this scanner as opposed to the one that I had before that's because my old

handheld autel scanner that maxy check pro that i had showed live data but it

did not show all the live data that i wanted to see and so this does show that

let's check out misfires just for example no misfires some telling us that

sometimes cycles of misfire data I don't like I said I don't know what everything

is on here but enhanced ease out let's go to that once see what's in there

fuel level sensor if you'll take a pass see

keep touching those so you can see this thing has a long

list of throttle actuator

transmission live data transmission

let's just see anyway this is uh pretty good pretty

good all-around service tool I guess you would call it it's not full

bi-directional it has some what they call hot functions but it does pretty

good I mean if you were a full-time mechanic would you buy this scan tool no

probably not but you know for what for what the average guy is gonna do I mean

change tire size you put different sized tires in your truck you know relearn a

key or something if you get a new key anyway this maxi come MK 808 BT it has

this other stuff of course it's got the you know you can have different files on

here it's basically an Android tablet and I have not tried going to say the

Play Store and download other you know apps but this is what it comes with and

this is this Mac seek the main ones are this Diagnostics and service service is

kind of you know it does your your oil reset all of these basic service

functions and then if we go you know back to Diagnostics this is the one that

gives you all your life data and whatnot so if I want to I want to go into

history you can see I've done the same truck several times go to Diagnostics

control unit live data and whatnot now if we go back here to Auto scan this

this thing will scan every module within the vehicle so that's poetry an anti

tire pressure monitor which this truck doesn't have but it tries to go through

and find every module that's in this truck and then it does look for faults

within those modules now this body control module here that's that's I

think that's new to me I haven't seen that one yet I do know that I have

something wrong with one of the speakers on the radio on this truck but I'm not

sure if that comes into the body controller that comes later and another

one but anyway this thing takes a while to

scanner if you're not looking for full bi-directional controls by all means

this scanner is very nice otherwise if you're looking for a full bi-directional

controls you may want to step up to like the 906 or the 908 or whatever they are

the big the big ones other than that very happy with the scanner alright guys

Why did you do this to me, Killstar?

Hi everyone, my name is Talia and

in today's video I'm going to tell you about a little incident that I had with the brand Killstar.

Okay, if you don't know Killstar, it is a brand which sells

alternative clothing and I don't know I really love it.

I have wanted to get something from them for ages. And I finally did I

got these shoes right here.

Don't worry because I will show them to you later on, and I will give you a small review on them and you will be

able to see what they look like

when I put them on and all that so yeah.

But first I want to tell you the experience that I had with Killstar. So yeah anyways

I was really excited because on their Instagram they were doing this offer, which was an extra 20

percent off on any item that was already on sale.

So I obviously went to their web page and I ordered these shoes so

yeah, and I was pretty excited as I have already mentioned and

well, the shoes took like...

maybe probably less than one week to arrive to be honest.

But yeah, and when they arrived I tried the on, and the thing is that

they were way too tight.

And I was like no no this can't be true, this cannot be true, because I am usually a US size 9, UK 7 and

European size is 40 so,

I'm usually always that size. I hardly ever one size up or one size down. So it was very weird and

the thing is that.

I looked at the shoes and

I look at the part where there is the shoe size written and

guess what?!

The shoes were the size

39 in Europe,

US 8 and UK 6, so they were one size down, and on the box the shoes came in it

said

UK 7

on the

paper order. where like my order was written which came inside the box

it said UK 7 as well.

And on the email order like the order they sent me like after I make my purchase and

everything, it said UK 7 as well, so

basically, Imma guess that the shoes were misplaced and they had put them inside the box

So what I did

was to contact

obviously to contact Killstar, and I have to say that they were extremely

nice to me and they were super quick at replying, and it was fine. Like, you know, we all make mistakes, it's fine.

I'm really glad that they were able to solve my problem super quickly, and that they replied to me super quickly.

So I have to give their support a

really good review, and well anyways

I send them the shoes back and then they sent me back the shoes. Like I had the option to not pay

like the shipping of the shoes when I

sent them to them.

But the thing is that, I couldn't do that because I went to the post office and the girl was like, you need a number blah blah.

And I was like, I don't have any number, I'm sorry, so I had to pay for the shipping from Spain to the

United Kingdom

but it wasn't really that expensive and then

the shipping when they sent them back to me like with the right order, the right

shoe size and everything, they sent it to me for free. Like I didn't have to pay anything.

And by the way when they sent them back to me the shoes arrived in

like two days, two or three days or something.

So, yeah, it was amazing

Like the only problem that I had is that the shoes they sent me the first time

weren't my right size because you know, they made this mistake, but it's fine.

They were be able to solve it super well, and yeah, I'm very happy with my purchase as

you can tell. And the thing is that I'm going to show you right now what the shoes look like in real life.

So yeah, I'm gonna try them on. And I'm gonna give you a small review of them

So the shoes came inside a black box, which I don't have like I don't even know where it is

I couldn't find it, and it also came, obviously it came with the shoes, the paper order and then

this envelope right here.

which says, it's upside down. It says Killstar right here, and when you open it, like there are several

cards inside

There is this one which looks like this, super cool.

And it says 'create your own magic' and then it says Killstar.

Then there's also this other one which

features one of their plushies because, they do sell plushies as well and on the back of it it says

'I'm cute as hell' and

it also says

'where I also came from' so um, as you can tell these are the shoes right here.

As you can see they're like super cute.

I'm gonna give you a close-up of them. As you can tell there is a pentagram on the front part of the shoe like

on the bow

that the shoe has on the front and then also inside, you can see that there are many pentagrams as well.

And it also says Killstar.

Then on this other part right here, which is the way I was able to tell that the shoe size wasn't the correct one,

Like you got all the sizing in

Centimeters, US ,Europe and United Kingdom. Um, this is what the shoes look like when you put them on

Yes, you can tell like they are super cool. They are also extremely comfortable by the way. I

wear them like super often to be honest. And yeah,

I hope that you like them

As much as I do. They are on sale on the Killstar website, by the way

Beard Transplant in Chennai - Tamira Patient Review - Duration: 2:36.

I was interested in getting a better beard because I had a very patchy beard

before. And I did a lot of research into getting some transplants done in the

United States which is where I live. And they were very expensive. The place that

I wanted to do in Miami cost about $6 a graft and I didn't want to spend that

much money. So I was researching other places to do it and then I found Tamira

online and I said okay I'm gonna travel to India to have this procedure done.

forth they answered all my questions. They made me feel very comfortable so I

said okay I'm gonna come and do this procedure. So I flew here last year to

have the procedure done. And I met with Dr. Jayanthy and with the all the other

doctors here with the whole team. And I feel great and then they assured me good

results and then I did the procedure and then I flew back to Los Angeles. And a

few months later all the hairs grew in. I'm really happy with the results and

now I'm back to do some touch-ups just to fill in some of the gaps that were

missed from the last pursuit that I did. Very happy with the results. Very happy

with the way I was treated. Very happy with the staff and everybody

that I dealt with here. The facilities are just amazing I don't think I've even

seen a facility this classy and this high-tech and this clean and sterile

even in the States. And you will experience that when you

come here. Dr. Jayanthy is great and I think the

staff that she has picked is the embodiment of her vision

of what they do here and just excellent service. I'll definitely come back here

if I need any other treatments for skin or or any other procedures that I might

want. I would definitely recommend it to other people. I've brought my cousin's

here and other family members I've recommended.

And overall it's been such a great experience I would really take this

place over any other thank you

Hello guys, this is Andy again out of our headquarters in Ottobrunn

our lovely showroom.

And when you see me you know it's about a waterbased pomade again.

Today one which I like really much.

It's from England from our friend Sean Banks.

My colleague Philipp already did a review on the Texture Clay

and I will review the Classic Pomade today.

You see the packaging is a beautiful combination of black and gold

a black plastic can with golden lid.

And it is a totally classic waterbased gel-type pomade.

It smells like one of the Tom Ford perfumes

but I can't say which one it is.

But it's really fun to use it

the scent lasts all day, it gives very good hold

and I will show you now.

Sean opened the Banks and Sons Barbershop together with his brother

and it's great that he has his own product line

in dependence on the old school barbershop his father had in earlier days

and they continue with the tradition.

a very cool shop, I've been there myself,

give it a visit when you're nearby, great guys doing great work.

And because I know him for quite some time know

I could also try his old pomade which he gave me as a present

with the old design

and in a metal can.

Basically it's nothing different

you see it's pretty empty because I really like it.

It's a totally classic gel-type pomade

which does a great job with what it's for:

it gives nice hold and you can easily wash it out.

I went to the hair dresser yesterday finally again

to get a nice fresh haircut

so the pomade can do it's job properly.

You see my hair is washed freshly

I also used a waterbased pomade yesterday so there's no build-up now.

We are often asked about using pomade in damp hair:

Can you use a waterbased pomade with an oily hair tonic?

And in deed you can do that.

I like using the Lucky Tiger 3 Purpose Hair Tonic

which is one of the oldest existing since 1935.

It has a great scent and nice caring oils in it

which don't let your hair dry out totally when you use the waterbased pomade.

You won't get problems with getting a proper hold to the hair.

Many are worried about getting trouble with the oil in combination with the waterbased pomade

but that works really great.

Don't take too much …

Just a bit on your hands

and work it into the hair.

Having damp hair makes the pomade easier to use

the pomade won't harden that fast

you already know that.

I dry my hands with a PomadeShop towel.

Then I comb my part roughly.

And you see finding the part

is very easy with such a fresh haircut.

Let's get started.

Scooping it out is totally easy.

It actually feels similar to a medium waterbased pomade.

It's a very soft gel

which let's you doubt about the hold – but it really holds.

For me a finger full of it is enough –

Flo would take three or four fingers

if it wasn't a waterbased which he doesn't really like.

As always spread it between you palms properly

to get into it nicely.

The part …

on the top, from the back to the front.

You can't do anything wrong.

It's just important not to apply the pomade just on the top of your hair

but work it in so it's really spread evenly.

And I already feel

– although it feels that light –

that it starts hardening.

Let's see …

if it passes the test –

Yes. A mohawk is no problem if you want it.

I'm not sure if that fits my style

– I'm using my Layrite comb again with its fine teeth

as I used one with wider teeth the last time

which made it difficult for me to work with my thin hair.

But with that one it's nice to comb with, to work the pomade in,

to define my part how I like it

and style it as I want to.

I have to say I'm very satisfied with my haircut

many thanks to my barber Fabi

who is a very talented young man

I visit regularly for some weeks now.

Really nice to see that there's new blood

in the barber scene.

You see how fast I'm finished now

and it gives really good hold now.

Of course I got this one streak …

You might know that – having one difficult

streak or spot on your head with maybe a cowlick

which causes a problem.

But you know that continue combing

helps to get everything in place nicely.

I have to say

I'm very satisfied for now.

The scent – I still have it on my hands –

is totally brilliant.

I like pomades which smell so nice

that you don't have to use a perfume additionally.

Really great.

The shine is also very nice

it's still a bit damp

but it won't loose lots of shine

and basically stays like it is now.

It will harden a bit and give nice hold all day long.

Like with every waterbased:

Re-combing isn't that easy. But I have a tip:

Just put some water or hair tonic on the hair

and re-combing works.

I will do an extra video about that

because we often get comments that people don't like waterbased pomades

because you can't re-comb it – but you actually can of course.

And we will show you how.
