News on Youtube Sep 29 2018

Ever since gaining the Framemeister,

I've been playing the Mega Drive on my TV a lot more

and it really gives it a super clear image with its integer scaling.

Adding scanlines and other retro looks,

nostalgia started to hit me pretty hard and I began to reminisce my childhood.

It was then when I remembered the good ol' days of the Master System.

I never owned one but an old friend of mine did as well as my cousin.

I recall hours and hours of playing Sonic and other titles on their consoles.

In fact, they're the reason why I got into the blue blur.

Feeling a bit emotional, I took a quick gander on eBay

to see how much the vintage machine was going for these days.

£30 plus isn't bad.

Or £50 for a modded version so it would run in 60Hz,

seeming as I'm in the PAL region.

I took the plunge and bought it, as well as other miscellaneous games separately for a decent price.

I obviously had to get as many Sonic games as I could for this console,

as long as they didn't cost an arm and a leg!

Ha, yeah, like I have that in my back pocket!

Within a few days of ordering, the games arrived first,

with a week later, the Master System.

Which came with Sonic 2....

Looks like I'll be doing a giveaway in the near future!

But I digress, I plugged it all in and after a lot of technical snaff,

I was recapturing my youth.

And "shock-horror",

I started with Sonic 1 and Sonic 2.

These were the two I have most recollection with, but was it at all as I remembered?

Was it worth the money I paid for?

Well seeming as I have the tools to record real hardware,

despite the jailbars, that's just part of the Master System's charm

irritatingly delivers, you're going to have to ignore that,

let's take a look together starting with Sonic 1 for the Master System, a mini review!

Seeming as this is just a small appraisal,

I'm not going to analyse the progressive lead up on how the game came to be,

but I do want to get one little thing off my chest.

Sonic 1 for the Master System did NOT see a release before its superior on the Mega Drive (or Genesis).

The 16-bit variant was first into the wild on the 23rd of June 1991,

with our 8-bit friend not appearing until the 25th of October in the same year.

And before you jump out and ask, the Game Gear handheld equivalent was even later in mid-December,

but we don't care about that with its screen crunch and uglier sprites

(gracious, they're awful).

However, we can all agree that this is Sonic's first main starting point

for this generation of consoles and 'they' did a great job.

They, as in the developers of this game, Ancient Corp.

You see, back in those days,

Sonic Team had their heads screwed on and knew they couldn't split their team to work on separate projects.

So, they got another company to work on the Master System port.

And there was me saying I wasn't going to examine the back story.

Let's crack on and actually talk about this magnificent game.

Yeah, it pales in comparison to the Mega Drive counterpart,

but the speed and excitement still exists within.

I mean, the very first act of the very first level,

you can break the boundary of the camera like nobody's business.

Quite often I went a tad too fast, even making the game skip a cut scene.

And woah, I'm diving into this retrospective too fast;

let's take a chill pill and start from the beginning.

The controls are pretty simple.

Have a wild guess what the D-Pad does.

And both 1 and 2 makes Sonic jump.

While running, tapping 'down' on the control pad will force Sonic into a roll

or while static, you can see what's below you

or even up above by holding the 'up' button instead.

Thus, in essence, the exact same controls as the 16-bit edition.

Not too complicated then with the dynamics being relatively easy to master.

It's just the inconsistent frame rate you have to fight against way too much

and that's when you may start to struggle because this game is full to the brim of sluggishness.

And avoiding obstacles and traps becomes harder than it actually should be.

Even without the game dragging, a new mechanic I could not get to grips with

is your incompetence to collect fallen rings or shall I say, ring.

I know with Sonic games it truly doesn't matter how many rings you currently hold

but every little helps when it came to recollecting your scattered rings

but in this lesser version, you're out of luck

and you have to find fresh rings elsewhere.

At least you get to keep your shield between zones so that's pretty awesome.

Sonic looks spectacular in this game.

He has the right amount of colour to him, he's at the perfect size,

and the hedgehog always stood out no matter what scenario he was in.

No criticism from me here.

As long as you're using an RGB Scart and not the horrible standard RF cable,

the colours to this game really do pop out; especially in Jungle Zone.

A lot of the stages look exquisite and with a fair amount of detail;

I'm quite impressed with the standard they came up with for an 8-bit classic.

There wasn't really any presentation that disappointed me,

bar the title screen when you boot up the game.

I mean really, they couldn't even add a background of some sort?

Talk about an awkward first impression.

Having said that, the emblem here is pretty decent looking with a great beholding palette.

I assume with all the colours that were involved here, a background image wasn't possible, so...

Okay, I retract my complaint.

There are 6 zones to this game each containing 3 acts; the latter being a boss encounter.

Starting each act, you're presented a map to demonstrate how far you've proceeded,

with the name of the level in a tidy little box.

It's a neat addition, although I wish there was more use for it.

Like, imagine pausing the game to re-display the map to see how far you've advanced within the act;

just like you could with Alex the Kidd.

I know, I know, each act being super short,

the map idea is a bit pointless but it would have been cool none-the-less.

I can live with the game freezing on the spot except for certain objects for some bizarre reason.

A lot of assets are borrowed from its bigger brother like the majority of the badniks,

the level name and art design.

Yet there is some originality to this platformer.

We have a good amount of exclusive levels,

some interesting yet annoying level gimmicks with the auto-scroller in Bridge Zone;

God forbid we go fast in a Sonic game!

And the screen boundary lock in Jungle Zone 2 which will be the death of me!

Another splendid trick reserved for the Master System port is the bonus prizes dished out

by the ending sign post.

I still haven't for the love of Jiminy Cricket figured out how this works

but all I know is that a certain ring requirement is needed for a particular gift.

And that 50 rings or more are needed to be sent to the bonus stage;

which is just Sonic bouncing around obtaining an extra life or continue

and also regretting every waking moment of entering the bleedin' place.

But do you know what the real kick in the teeth is?

If you manage to obtain 100 rings or more within the zone,

you're granted an extra life right there and then which is nice and all,

but you do not get sent to the bonus stage when passing the goal post.

You technically need between 50 and 99 rings for that honour.

Theoretically, if you collected 108 rings, the game will say you only have 8!

The bonus stage isn't really essential to anything anyway

therefore it's not a massive deal.

So, what, no Chaos emeralds then?

Oh, there are Chaos Emeralds!

Just like the original Sonic 1, 6 of them exist.

However instead of the means of special stages,

the stones are sprinkled around the island with one Emerald per zone.

You do not need any ring requirements or keys to pick them up;

just simply run into the colourful gem, and be on your merry way.

Some emeralds require a bit of exploring

whereas some of them are just in plain sight and it's impossible to miss.

Oh look, I'll be taking that!

Initially, finding all of these can be perplexing, but when you've done it once,

the game becomes really easy to 100% next time around and forever over.

And here's some good news, if you collect a chaos emerald and you die before finishing the act,

you don't lose the emerald.

No automatic refunding here!

Once it's yours, it's yours.

Still, there's no incentive to get all the emeralds really.

An extra few seconds are taxed onto the ending cut scene

with the emeralds removes the darkness casted by the evil genius,

but that's about it.

Let's talk about that moustached villain for a moment, shall we?

…Wow, that was easy.

Surely, I'm going to breeze through this ga...

Ah, nuts.

Oh, come on!

What, really?!

The bosses bar the very first conflict can be quite challenging.

The main reason being is the absence of rings.

Make a small mistake and that will cost you a life.

It may take a few lives to figure out the pattern of these clashes but after that,

the bosses become easy to defeat,

except for the Jungle boss because the exploding rolling bombs seems to be totally random when they explode!

Blimey, Jungle Zone is probably the hardest level of the lot with its boss

and its huge-gapped platforms

and its rising screen of death.

It's just lucky that the stage looks sophisticated

and plays cheerful music to keep up my spirits.

The majority of the melodies are enjoyable to my ears

and I find myself actually going to have a quick listen to the soundtrack on YouTube

if I'm ever in the mood.

Sonic 1 for the Master System contains some interesting compositions

with Sky Base being my favourite.

To me, it sounds like it could have been an invincibility theme for Eggman;

especially as the zone itself contains no rings.

I have to say, for Sonic's first entrance to the third generation of video game consoles,

they did a remarkable job and had all their priorities in the right places.

With the visuals, the tunes and the controls all being near-spot-on,

I can forgive the little annoyances such as the slow-downs

and how the scattered ring scheme was implemented.

This game could have included more in terms of level design and features,

I mean, there's not even a single loop in this game,

but maybe that's what Sonic 2 was left to pick up?

We'll find out in my next mini review to arrive soon.

But I would most certainly recommend giving Sonic 1 for the Master System a go;

especially for any newcomers to the franchise of the SEGA mascot.

Thank you so much for watching!

Review of The Telecommuter's Project Journal by C.J. LeCount - Duration: 1:53.

Hey Guys, Today I want to give you a short, brief book review. I found another book on Amazon. And this book is for Telecommuters.

Or Remote Workers. It is also by C.J. Lecount. This book is bigger, just over 200 pages.

This book features the charts that C.J. LeCount had in a previous book. But, there also sections on projects.

Basically, she has this broken out into "What is the problem we are solving, What does success look like, Who is our audience." And

Some other part of the problem we are working on. She also has this interesting monthly tasks. It is an open calendar.

It looks like you can format entries the way you want.

Then, the book goes into the charts that she is known for in her other telecommuting book, The Telecommuting Journal.

It's a great little book. Definitely, more writing space in this book than in her previous book.

In those daily log sections. It will help you list what must be done today, what is in progress, what did you complete, and the calls/texts that you made

The book is called The Telecommuter's Project Journal by C.J. LeCount. It is cute, and features a Golden Retriever on the cover.

Check it out. Links are below.

Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Review: The Best No-Compromise Choice - Duration: 7:42.

This is the Galaxy Note 9, Samsung's offering that brings all it has regarding the latest

and greatest tech to the smartphone market.

The Note 9 brings subtle improvements from the Note 8 and brings some of the newest technology

from the Galaxy S9 to help build Samsung's choice for a no-compromise smartphone.

The Note 9 is a big phone – with the phone itself being over 6 inches tall and weighing

in at over 200 grams, it certainly isn't the way to go if you're looking for a device

with a small footprint.

Despite the phone's large size, I still found it comfortable to hold and use even

with though I normally use an iPhone 6s which is almost an inch smaller.

But I still need to use two hands to use the phone.

The phone itself is extremely nice and feels very premium, which you would expect at the

price it costs.

It is almost glass entirely, with metal surrounding the sides of the device.

The sides are quite thin as the screen curves around the sides of the phone, which makes

it feel very immersive.

I'll be interested to see what the next substantial design change to the Note line

of products is, as this phone looks excellent.

The glass is very nice to have all around the phone, but it does make it a bit of a

fingerprint magnet.

As soon as you pick up the phone, it's going to have fingerprints on it.

On the front of the phone, you have the display, front-facing camera and sensors such as the

Iris scanner and proximity sensor.

You've also got the earpiece here, which will also act as part of the speaker system

handling the higher treble frequencies for the Note 9.

That's really all there is on the front of the device, the rest of it is the huge

display.

The left-hand side has your volume buttons and the button to activate the Bixby smart

assistant.

I did find myself accidentally pressing the Bixby button when playing games, so you'll

just have to be careful to make sure you don't accidentally knock it.

On the other side of the phone, you'll find the power button.

But if the power button is too far away or you don't feel like using it you can hard-press

on the on-screen home button to wake the device from sleep.

The top has the slot for your SIM and micro-SD card, which can be up to 512gb in size to

expand the built-in 128gb or 512gb of storage.

So, you could have up to 1tb of storage if you wanted to.

You could also have dual-SIMs in here too.

On the bottom, you'll find the headphone jack, USB-C charging port that supports Quick

Charge 2.0 and your bottom speaker.

I would've liked to see Quick Charge 3.0 on the phone since Quick Charge 2.0 is a little

outdated for a 2018 flagship device.

You'll also find the S Pen on the bottom, which pops out of the device when you want

to use it, the S Pen is a bright yellow colour as the phone is blue in my case and I'm

quite liking the drastic colour difference of the pen.

The phone is IP68 dust and waterproof.

This means that if it's raining pretty heavily like it seems to do in all of Samsung's

ads for this phone, you'll be able to get out your phone and not have to worry about

it getting water damaged.

On the back, there's the rear dual-camera array and the fingerprint reader.

My experience with the fingerprint reader wasn't that great as I found it managed

to fail to recognise my fingerprint more than it was able to recognise it.

I'm not sure if this is because the fingerprint enrolment is so fast or whether it's how

I'm using the fingerprint reader, but I found myself using the face recognition and

the iris scanner more anyway as it is far more convenient.

The display on the Note 9 is a 6.4-inch AMOLED display.

The display looks fantastic, with a 1440p resolution and 516ppi, everything looks sharp

and viewing images and videos looks great too.

The display is also HDR10 compliant and thanks to it being an AMOLED, black and white colours

are deep and bright.

The display is always-on, so even when you sleep the device you'll see the time, date

and also your notifications on the screen at a glance.

This always-on functionality is thanks to the AMOLED display as the black pixels on

the screen don't drain any energy from the battery life.

Thanks to the size of the display, using the phone feels like I'm using one big display

rather than using a phone if that makes sense.

The Note 9 comes with Android running the Samsung TouchWiz skin.

This isn't as much of a problem as it used to be as TouchWiz has matured since it has

become less bloated and has become a lot more streamline.

Don't get me wrong, TouchWiz is still everywhere but it feels a lot more like Android than

it used to.

I did get some things popping up in the launcher to promote Samsung Pay, but they can be quickly

dismissed.

The device comes with Android 8.0 Oreo, but there has been no release of Android 9.0 Pie

for the Note 9 at the time of this review.

There is a range of Samsung apps pre-installed on the device as well as Microsoft Office.

It'd be better to give the consumer the choice of whether they want these installed

on their device in the first place, but since the device has so much storage, preinstalled

apps aren't a huge problem.

Software is key for the S Pen, and it has a range of handy features too.

One of the handiest things I've found is the ability to make notes from the device's

sleep screen.

All you have to do is pull out the S Pen and you can use the display as a canvas for your

notes or doodles when you're done, you can then save these into the Samsung Notes app.

The S Pen can also be used as a standard stylus and have extra functionality within Android,

or as a wireless function button that can be used to do things such as triggering the

camera and skipping song tracks.

This extra button functionality does mean that the S Pen now needs to be charged, but

it can charge in 40 seconds to give you 30 minutes of use.

The S Pen also uses supercapacitors instead of conventional batteries.

Performance on the Note 9 is fantastic, I have not experienced stutters or any lag spikes

at all whilst using the device.

I was able to play intense 3D games such as PUBG and Asphalt without any issues and the

phone also only got a little warm after playing for around 20 minutes.

I wasn't blown away by the speakers though, they don't sound that great considering

how big this phone is.

I would've thought that for such a large phone, the speakers would sound a little better.

The phone does come with a pair of AKG earbuds, but if you're looking to play music out

loud, don't expect it to sound amazing.

The camera on the Note 9 is exceptional, the camera has a variable aperture which is a

new feature to the phone that helps it perform well in low light situations.

The camera has a two-lens system on the back, one normal lens and one telephoto, so if you

want to zoom in 2x you can optically without losing any resolution.

Both camera lenses have 12-megapixel sensors.

The camera does well in low light and bright outdoor situations, I was very impressed with

the dynamic range of the camera as it was able to take good landscape photos showing

the grass clearly whilst also correctly exposing the clouds.

The camera also shoots 4K video at 60fps and has a range of higher frame rates for lower

resolutions, so you are able to capture slow motion video.

The Note 9 also has a super-slow mode that allows you to select part of your viewfinder

for where you want to capture the slow-motion action.

This feature is a bit gimmicky, but it is fun to mess around with, it would be nice

to have some more control of where the slow motion actually happens.

The front-facing camera has an 8-megapixel sensor and it's pretty good for taking selfies

and pictures.

Battery life on the Note 9 is excellent.

The battery itself is huge, with a 4000mAh battery that could easily get you through

two days of typical smartphone use if you needed it to.

The large battery also makes the phone great for gaming, as it can manage to provide good

looking graphics quality and solid battery life performance.

You'll also be able to wirelessly charge the battery with any Qi supported wireless

charging pad.

In conclusion, I think that the Galaxy Note 9 is a great choice for a smartphone.

It has no compromises and has all the features you could need, making it the best choice

for an Android smartphone out there if the price isn't a problem.

It has fantastic battery life; a great screen and it is well built.

So that's been it for this video.

I will leave a link in the description to pick up the Galaxy Note 9 if you want to,

but otherwise, thanks for watching and I'll see you in the next one.

🔴2020 Mercedes GLE-Class - What's Really Changed? Full Review - Duration: 15:23.

Today I'd like to talk about new Mercedes GLE-Class: Exterior, Interior and all the new technologies.

If you look at the front you immediately notice the new generation of GLE-Class

has taken an identity of the current GLS class the front grille the hood lines

and the overall feel all points to the current GLS, personally I think it's a big

plus, because right away you can see the Mercedes-Benz SUV unmistakably and I've

seen the previous spy shots I was afraid that Mercedes designers will completely

transform the look of this midsize utility vehicle but thankfully it

actually looks more like a family now

look from the side you will not notice much changes from the previous one in

2019 GLE-Class, however the new 2020 unit is a little longer and has

much more of the interior space the wheelbase of one hundred seventeen point

nine inches of the new model has been increased by 3.15 inches compared to the

previous model that's huge! Also there is a noticeable

increase in legroom and Headroom in the second and the third rows when I say

previous 2019 model I mean 2018, since 2019 model hasn't even been

released yet 2019 models will have very short run and you can watch our other

video 2019 GLE-Class review, here the link is below

headlights are completely redesigned and have this new kind of aggressive stare

similar to the new CLS and GT four-door sedan models

if you look from the rear and compare to the current GLE, you can see that

2020 model is much lighter, simpler and I would say it looks a little sporty

however if you get this new GLE with AMG sports styling

this car will look drastically different the front diamond block grille combined

with much more aggressive bumpers large wheels and AMG style lower body work

definitely gives you a different feel altogether AMG sports styling is more

unique limited and looks a lot sporty-er it just looks like something else

by the way GLE historically has been known to offer one of the best airdynamics

characteristics and the new figures are even more outstanding the

new model improved the coefficient of drag to the lowest in its class down to

0.29 from the previous of 0.31. The interior of 2020 GLE has

really major improvement just the interior alone will probably make a

lot of you want to replace your current model for this new one the new

multifunction steering wheel gives you easy controls and fingertips touch

sensors the new MBUX multimedia system is not even called multimedia anymore

MBUX stands for Mercedes-Benz user experience, and what an experience it is!

high resolution wide screen is housing two colossal twelve point three inches

wide screen side-by-side featuring the artsy graphics

MB UX should become a serious competitor to Google's Android auto and apple

carplay and as far as I understand this user experience is a lot more

technologically advanced have you ever dreamed to own intelligent robot? Here's

your chance to own one the intelligent voice control comes with the natural

language understanding the voice is overly polite does not scream does not

swear which is a big plus and can sing like a bird

well I'm not sure about the singing part... as you normally engage apple carplay by

saying "hey Siri" or Android Auto by saying "OK Google" you will engage MBUX

system by simply saying "hey Mercedes", the scope of the MBUX

multimedia system is so large that I will be making the completely separate

tutorial just about MBUX alone, consider subscribing to my channel

the additional space inside the new 2020 mercedes-benz GLE added just enough

space to squeeze the third row seat which was something a lot of you were

asking for a long time it's not as comfy as GLS-Class third row, but it will

serve its purpose if the need arises, especially it's great for kids just make

sure not to put your wife or your girlfriend, or especially both of them

over there, because it's not going to end very well. The third row can be ordered

with the full electrical fold, similar to the current GLS-Class, the

second row seat can be ordered with the full six-way electrical adjustment on

top of it the second row can be equipped with an easy entry option the same like

in the GLS class which makes the entry to the third row a breeze.

2020 GLE 350 rear-wheel drive and GLE350 4Matic four-wheel drive will actually

feature the brand-new four-cylinder engine. What?! That sounds a little bit

small for this kind of a car right but many of you said the same thing when

2017 e 300 came out only come to realization that this new 4 cylinder

isn't that bad you can watch my comparison video of 2016 E350 versus

2017 E300 here, the link is below the new gles four-cylinder engine actually has

14 more horsepower than E300 and outputs 255 Horses, however I think this

engine is the same or pretty much the same as an e 300 maybe just a notch

modified because it produces the same torque as E300 in mind

the total of 270 pound per feet, it's hard to say if that power is

sufficient for this kind of an SUV before this car is publicly released and

I can physically test drive it which I'm planning to review in the future however

I can confidently say the new 2020 GLE450 model is getting an excellent

engine and I don't need to test drive to prove it another very exciting news is

the new m256 engine inline six don't mistake

with v6 after 20 some years Mercedes is coming back with inline 6

engine and I'm very happy I love straight-6 engines so which engine is

better v6 or straight 6 let's take a look

which one is simple and reliable with no cylinder offset design which one needs

less parts for example only 2 camshafts not 4, which engine is more

balanced and revving is more silky steady and which one is more compact and

stiffer and more versatile as you can see I6 holds for three but v6 is

smaller and stiffer the thing is engineers are split 50-50 on which is

better but personally I like I6 because it's very easy to access very

easy to work on for example this one you can see cylinder first and six works in

unison also cylinder 2 and five work together and three and four very simple design

this will last forever I love straight-6 another huge

improvement of 2020 Mercedes GLE-class is the new 9-speed automatic

transmission 9g tronic which is replacing the previous 7g tronic

transmission that should improve the fuel efficiency and overall

ride Comfort. Optional fully variable 4matic all-wheel drive system

is available for the first time ever on the GLE, these four-wheel drive controls

the torque distribution between the front and rear axle anywhere from zero

to 100% depending on the selected driving mode greatly reduce the steering

oversteer or understeer I don't want to get too technical here so let's just say

the new GLE will offer you much better handling and performance than the

previous one here is another major feature that has never been available on

the gle class before basically it's a hydropneumatic suspension which is fully

automated actively preventing the body roll meaning you don't have to get

involved unless you want to the suspension is smart enough to control

the body level during driving especially when cornering driving on uneven

pavement or if you're just trying to prove how bad of a driver you are then

good luck so you can see if the suspension will rescue you! According to

Daimler engineers this is the only system in the market where the spring

and damping forces can be individually controlled at each wheel. E-Active body

control is optional and also provides a Free Driving Mode, which is now combined

with the revamped AIRMATIC air suspension and then add the road surface

scan, and the curve inclination feature and you will notice a big difference in

comfort of driving compared to the model without an e active body control free

driving mode is a brand new off-road feature if your 2020 GLE got

stuck in the sand or snow for example this feature can

help to free the vehicle believe it or not this new Mercedes model can actually

jump a little a few times which changes the ground pressure of the tires and

then improves traction and GLE then rocks itself free this new e active body

control also comes with the curve inclination feature it allows GLE to

lean into the road curves like a motorcycle this curve inclination leans

into bends in three stages with almost no centrifugal force if the GLE-Class

is equipped with stereo camera then the road surface scan will constantly scan

the road surface ahead of you and similarly to s-class will prepare the

suspension of GLE for the uneven road ahead to respond proactively by for

example stiffening each wheel independently. Furthermore it gets even more crazy you

can actually individually adjust the level at each wheel via the touchscreen

of the multimedia system that's very convenient especially if you are

off-roading and dealing with the ditches and all kinds of the uneven pavement

surprises e active body control has this newly advanced mercedes 48 volt

operating system and you can also add an optional adaptive damping system+

ADS Plus, to wrap up the suspension part I can assure you then it's way more

advanced then not only comparing the previous generation of GLE-Class but also

to all other 99% of the cars in the entire world. The word "active" means

autonomous but it's not hundred percent guaranteed to work so you better watch

out and always make sure you are in control of the car

don't make your car go wild on you the car can keep the distance from the car

in front of you even when you're stuck in traffic as the name of the feature

active stop and go assist refers it can actually stop and then go mimicking the

behavior of the font of you up to approximate speed of

37 miles per hour and once the traffic dissipates your car will be driving at

your preset speed and if you did not preset the speed, then it will be the

maximum allowed speed. Some other new features to mention is the new

energizing comfort feature which is similar to the most other newest

mercedes-benz models and also there is an ability to turn off the active

braking assist feature which I would not recommend unless there is some kind of

malfunction in your car

here's the question of the day what do you like or don't like about the new

West Cork 10 Year Irish Whiskey Review - By Friends for Friends - Duration: 6:18.

hey at the end of every rainbow there's a new whiskey to drink let's go get some

hey welcome back to whiskey quests if you're new to the channel let me

introduce myself my name is Antonio and in this channel I'm going to review as

many whiskies as I can from all over the world I'm gonna go through the nose the

taste and the finish and then I like to add a touch of water just to see if the

whisky changes with that you never know unless you try it so if that's something

you like to watch go ahead and hit the subscribe button with the Bell

notification so you can stick around for more videos before we get started with

the review let me take a few seconds just to thank my brother Danny and Steve

for giving me this bottle on my birthday I'm gonna review this and then we're

gonna enjoy this bottle together let's move on with the review so what I have

here today for you guys is a 10 year old Irish single malt whiskey what that

means is that it's made entirely out of malted barley at a single distillery in

Ireland we're gonna be using the Norlan glass for this whiskey so this is a 40%

ABV that's a 80 proof whisky and it was aged in first filled bourbon barrels

there's no color added and it's non chill filtered because of that you're

gonna have this really nice gold color going on it's a very nice color let's

move on to the nose and see what we get I get vanilla and and there's pears and

apples and of course some maltiness going on this is very fruity

there's maybe a little bit of like I'm gonna say peach maybe some kind of stone

fruit pretty good move on to the taste Cheers

at first this is very light but then there's this burst of flavors that comes

out first I get some kind of like a cereal note then there's like chocolate

notes coming out some pepper notes a little bit of citrus I do get some

vanilla and then it finishes with a nice silky mouthfeel like uh I'm gonna go

ahead and say like a dark chocolate and some pepper notes in the very end

finishes on the medium side though but that's pretty good cuz that makes me

want to go back and get some more so let's add some water to this and see if

it changes or not I'm just gonna go ahead and add one drop of water

considering it's only 40% I don't think it needs that much water so West Cork

distilleries is one of the few independent distilleries as far as I

know and there's way more distilleries opening up in Ireland and that's all

thanks to you whisky enthusiasts for making it popular again

so back in 2003 this distillery was founded by three childhood friends and

two of them being ex fishermen hence the fishing boat on the front

label and they were sourcing this whiskey but I think they've been open

for quite a bit now so I'm pretty sure they're distilling your own whiskey so

this is coming from them don't quote me on that that's just what I'm thinking

considering the the time that they've been open so if anybody knows that this

is still being sourced once you go ahead and drop a comment below let us all know

if its source or not or where it's coming from it'd

be nice to know but as far as it goes for their other whiskey offerings I know

those are being made there and as a matter of fact you know they handcrafted

a lot of they're mashing fermenting and distilling equipment right there on site

by their team that's pretty cool if you ask me

so let's move on to the portion of the review with some water on the nose I'm

still getting everything I got before but I do pick up a little bit of spice

on the nose now that's the only change that I can notice right now let's move

on to the taste Cheers

so just like I thought the water just made it light even lighter than before

but there's still a lot of flavor going on it still tastes of vanilla and the

chocolate notes the spicy notes can taste a little bit more of the barrel

this time and that finish is still on the medium side except this time

finishes with like a chocolate mint that's pretty good so my final thoughts

on this single malt whiskey here I think it's a really good whiskey not

something that's gonna blow your mind and make you go buy ten bottles but it

is good and I wish it was bottled at a 43% but even at 40 percent it held its

own with some water so I'm gonna go ahead and say go ahead and try this at a

bar first before you commit to the whole bottle but at 45 dollars it's a steal

for a single malt there you have it alright so that's it for the review I

hope you guys enjoyed it and if you did go ahead and give me a like share with

your friends don't forget to drop a comment below let me know what you think

and if you haven't subscribed yet go ahead and hit that subscribe button

right now with the bail notification so you can stick around for more videos

having said that cheers guys see you in the next video bye

Super Reviews #35: School Play [Hey Arnold!] - Duration: 11:31.

Humble: Air, did you remember to take your constipation medicine?

Air: Yes Humble!

Hey ladies and jellyfish, wumbos of all sizes, welcome back to A.S.K.

Today I am reviewing an episode of Hey Arnold!

I love this show, so let's jump into this review of School Play.

Anywho, it's been over 2 months since my last Super Review, so let's celebrate going

back to school with this review of Hey Arnold: School Play.

The episode starts off with with a beautiful title card on the school curtains, accompanied

by the beautiful score by Jim Lang.

(clip) It really gets you in the mood of a grand 22 minute special.

We start at the P.S. 118 cafeteria, as Helga talks down to Arnold, while Arnold acts like

his sensible self and walks off, telling Helga he knows deep down she has a soft spot.

Helga, obviously really loving Arnold, gawks in happiness.

Mr. Simmons walks in and announces the upcoming school play about Romeo and Juliet.

Honestly, knowing what happens later, I think the plot is very creative for only being about

a school play.

I'll explain later.

We see that Helga, before knowing that the Romeo part would go to Arnold and Romeo has

to kiss Juliet, isn't all too interested in being a part of the play.

I have to say a boy and girl kissing in a 4th grade school play is a little extreme,

in the same country that has schools ban fidget spinners, but that's a story for another

day.

The auditions are also pretty fun to watch.

If you are a fan of drama and the arts like I personally am, you would love the jabs at

references they take here, like Mercutio and Tybalt being in the play.

Thank god Jason Statham wasn't in this episode…

By the way, in the auditions when Eugene denies being Romeo, there's a bit of out-of-character-ness,

with Eugene snapping at Simmons at the end.

When the boys leave the auditorium, this drama-teacher-critic guy named Mr. Leichliter comes up and insults

Simmons, and Simmons says this.

(clip) I mean, if you can't see him there alone, I think you need glasses.

Anyways, our first subplot, being about this critic guy judging Simmons' play has just

unfolded.

I think with these subplots, especially in a 22 minute special, the more the merrier!

Simmons goes to Arnold, and after some begging, Arnold accepts the part of Romeo, which any

4th grader wouldn't even dream of laughing at when there are so many lines, but Arnold

being the sympathetic last hope of us all he is, accepts.

With some contrived coincidences, Helga overhears the girls talking about Arnold being Romeo

in the washroom, and she instantly decides she wants to be Juliet.

Helga hurries to the Juliet auditions and gets the 4th understudy of Juliet after Rhonda,

Sheena, Phoebe and Lila.

This means if all 4 girls drop out for whatever reason, Helga is Juliet.

Call it a substitute if you will.

Helga plots to get them all out so she can kiss Arnold in the last scene.

So far, the plot seems great!

Like I said a few minutes ago, the plot is very creative for only being about a school

play.

Now we have Arnold to play Romeo in a school play, Helga having to learn her lines and

knock out four girls to get to Juliet, Simmons has the critic guy, and we still have all

the fun that comes with the setup and delivery of the play in its entirety.

We're ten minutes in, practically half way, and the plot setup is already done.

Everything now just needs to play out.

That's why this writer is so good, to go on to write Arnold's Christmas.

Kudos to the late Steve Viksten.

We go to a quick scene in the boarding house, as Arnold tells Grandpa and Mr. Hyunh about

the play.

(clip) Haha, yes, now we are starting the comedic part of this episode.

Helga starts her quest to drop the girls out of the play, by making a horrible costume

for Juliet and scaring Rhonda into dropping out, which was hilarious!

Oh by the way, the order of the girls is very interesting.

It's Rhonda, Sheena, Phoebe, Lila.

Honestly, I know this is a school play, but if 4th graders can kiss on stage, I don't

care at this point!

You can't tell me that this graceful, beautiful Juliet was supposed to be originally played

by a sassy, rude drama queen, THEN a graceful nice girl, then a super-short, egotistical

genius who shows off her achievements left and right, THEN a graceful, perfect ball of

sunshine.

I feel like the order should be Lila, Sheena, Rhonda, Phoebe!

But saying how the plot is structured and Helga's schemes being harder and harder

each time, I'll excuse Mr. Simmons' terrible order choices this time.

Although there is the plot hole that if Lila is so perfect, why was she the last understudy?

Anyways, we go back to Mr. Hyunh and Arnold, practicing for the play, as Mr. Hyunh acts

like Juliet.

(clip) Once again, this slight humor, although not that funny, does add a lot to this episode.

We go back to Rhonda as she tells Simmons she can't make it, with probably the funniest

scene in the entire episode.

(clip) Okay, that's got to be one of the funniest gags in the entire episode.

In fact, Helga is HILARIOUS in this episode, so let's get all the funny stuff out of

the way.

(clips) Anyway, after scaring Sheena with the gore in the play, and pressuring out Phoebe

out of the role, Helga heads for Lila, the last understudy.

We go to Arnold in the boarding house, as Oskar Kokoschka laughs at Hyunh in a dress

to roleplay for Arnold.

Helga tries to back out Lila with the gore excuse, and Lila says: (clip) Oh do shut up,

Lila.

No one likes you!

Helga tries to go with the stagefright and costume excuses, but they don't work on

her either.

(clip) So yeah, Helga confesses, and Lila gives her the role.

I have to say the

writing here is phenomenal.

This so accurately portrays how a 4th grader would say something like that.

So yeah, the main portion of the episode is over, and now everything has to play out.

We go to Helga's house, as she practices her lines for the play with Big Bob, her dad.

I'm surprised Bob even cared a little bit about Helga to do this, that's a big jump

for his character.

I guess Olga wasn't around this time…

We fade to Helga before bed, talking to herself about Arnold and writing in her diary.

(clip) Alright, I know I said the Helga dress thing was the funniest thing ever, but THIS

takes it to a whole new level.

We go to opening night, as Simmons nervously readies everyone, and Leichliter is there

to enjoy every fault and flaw they make.

(clip) Yes, you'll realize there are more clips of the episode this time around, and

although being a personal improvisation, that is mostly because of how alive this episode

is!

Every scene can be put in an album, either as a funny, humorous scene, to an inspiring

scene, to one that's just that classic!

Like this beautiful prologue, that explains the plot of the play for those unfamiliar,

adds some context to the scene coming after it, gives some emotion to it by having even

the most bitter of couples being in love, and has some brilliant voice acting and animation

for its time.

We go into the bulk of the play, with it having a cool original twist on these characters

and plots, and some comedy to back the fact that these are just kids at the end of the

day.

I mean that because in almost every scene, there is that local feel to it, with Harold

failing at stabbing Curly, Arnold almost forgetting his lines or Helga tripping on set.

But, you see, what makes this different from a school play episode you can make with your

friends in an afternoon, is the classic awesome outcome of the actual thing.

The play may be cheesy, faulty or goofy at times, but when the characters get it right,

they really get it right!

And that's what makes these pre-climax scenes so great!

And yeah, at 22 minutes in, Helga does the most important thing to take away from this

episode: kiss Arnold.

And for 14 seconds, you sick little- So yeah, the kiss is over, no one makes too much of

it, and Helga kills herself in the play.

Although let me point out that Juliet killing herself is not the last scene in Romeo and

Juliet, but they just kissed, let's move on!

Arnold acknowledges Helga's long kiss, and all's well that ends well.

And, before we finish, let's give a big kudos to Jim Lang, who created this masterpiece

of a song at the end of this episode.

And, I mean I won't use it in my credits or anything.

But until next time, be sure to subscribe and join my Discord server.

Ciao!

The Conjuring House Review - Duration: 4:23.

Hey everyone its your boy blood wizard y.a back with new game review and the game we

have here is another horror game known as the conjuring house

The Conjuring House begins with, a journalist, who is investigating the mysterious death

of the owner of Atkinson House.

You arrive at the exact home and soon you discover that you're not going to be allowed

to leave . A demonic woman holds power over the house and tries to haunt you down ,inorder

to kill her you need to find selection of some stuff that is mentioned in the book that

can help you to break her up but sadly one item out of five stuff that you actually need

Is missing and you need to find out what is that fifth stuff, An angry ghost, a need to

escape, and a mystery to solve.

I think that is well enough to attrack you towards this game

The opening does a great job of building tension by messing around you and doing such stuff

with you.

You're vulnerable and helpless against attack so either you will be hiding or running which

will take up most of your time between puzzles.

This is were you are not sure when will this thing might happen ,it happens all of a sudden

which the game here deserves a credit

The Conjuring House from the surroundings perspective does a great job.

The creaking of the house, the movement of furniture are just some of the ways you'll

be freaked out and some of illusions that hits your mind wether you saw a demonic stuff

or only a shadow that is fucking around you These moments definitely cause a reaction

in you

The demonic lady is the main rival here but trust me she is not the only one.

Other strange horrors appear throughout the game and gives you something new to be chased

by.

The Conjuring House definitely looks huge like a maze with many doors to unlock and

keys to find and puzzeles to solve meanwhile.

The household is gorgeous as it is haunting.

The lighting, in particular, is excellent at showcasing the classic architecture of

the building.

The glow of candles, the feeling of unpleasant isolation in a world of horrors.

While the story and scares fade out of towards the end, the places within the house only

get more interesting.

Since you are being hunted by demons and wicked spirits as you search for clues and solutions.

the game can take you far longer than you'll probably want it to -- and longer than should

be allowed.

Because this is a puzzle game, and since it's a puzzle game you have to discover several

clues hidden throughout the house to move forward

at the end what The Conjuring House is doing with this concept is truly something to get

excited about.

The enemies have no patterns in their placement or variety, the house can be explored in any

way the player chooses, and objectives have multiple ways to complete.

This is the type of true horror gameplay that many survival horror games lack now adays

Rym Games has created a solid horror title for its debut.

It's perhaps a bit too safe and maybe lacking in some innovation towards the end, but one

thing is for sure, it never gets boring being haunted by an angry demonic rivals

.the conjuring house on pc,ps4 and xbox one

Thanks for watching ,thumbs if you enjoyed and subscribe for more reviews in the future

until then Peace…

Sepultura - Desperate Cry/Propagana | Reaction/Review - Duration: 10:57.

hey guys Dannymik is s back here for another music video reaction today we're

going to get into the band Sepultura the Brazilian band Sepultura and here we go

all right guys we're gonna get into the band Sepultura are here for this review

/ or this reaction / review just like I said they're probably my favourite band

for this type of music I started to listen to some Patara in the 90s and

actually seen them my second concert ever with Pantera and biohazard excuse

me kick-ass show super or super aggressive shows Huns of

energy so this video right here is a mix of two songs it's desperate cry and

propaganda and in fact this there's a lineup that's that's doing this is Max

Cavalera when he was with the Cavalier a conspiracy I was looking for actual self

iturra footage of propaganda and I really couldn't find good quality sound

quality and video quality for that song so I had to go with the Cavalera

conspiracy but the song itself the rights of this song is owned by Sela

Tara so I just want to let everyone know that I'm probably gonna you know I'm

gonna stop the song a little bit here and there but I don't want to waste any

more time let's get right into it desperate cry propaganda mix up let's go

let's get into it

hmm yeah

well bring that back check out check out Max's shirt too if you want to pay

homage to one of the guy father's a death metal

check out the shirt death man

area right there

another good death not a man

pressure

love the way that gets higher sound those tones are freakin awesome

of Brahms man

everybody all right just a quick stop right there just when I pause it for a

second that was the first half of the song that was desperate cry that was a

part of that song desperate cry now they're about to get into the propaganda

here and again one of like I said this is support Arizona my fear of bands of

that type of style of music Brazilian band and I picked this song so people

can see some of my favorite songs that I have up in my archives desperate cry and

propaganda them two are right out there to the top of my list so let's get right

back into it here we go nice sized crowd

it should be going bananas oh I feel this should be going bananas right here

don't go

don't realize

hmm

listen to that guitar man that's nasty I want to bring that back

mm so heavy

one more time man one more time back on top

damn good solo

blacken man

right here hmm one of my fear parts of that right

there man that breakdown

man there should be an author just going

listen to that face man listen to it

hmm

was it baby that turn that off all right so that that song right there

that was for all my my subscribers that are all about the hardcore stuff you

know you know the heavier shit out there that's for all you guys I picked it just

because like I said that's one of my favorite you know I know it's two songs

but propagandas probably with my favorite songs no excuse me my sub

Patera I knew like territory that's a really badass song too as well as

desperate cry so you got two songs that are really really high you know these

are these are top notch in my book desperate cry and propaganda even though

the Cavalera conspiracy did this song the soffits Earl took it on originally

that's their songs and Max in my opinion he is solitary his voice is soft Botero

the new night there because what is is you know he's really does a good job but

yeah I'm gonna be honest with everybody max Cavalera is he is he's the man that

comes that band and you know sup Otero another good thing about them that I

think that gives them a lot of integrity around the music industry at least and

the heavy metal industry is the fact that there are bad that's against the

racial bullshit you know they they like they preach diversity you know

they're there they're there a politically politically driven band

that's again saw the bullshit with the government and you know that that state

everyone knows about but again they're just a good old-fashioned thrash metal

band that's been around a long time and they just kick ass there's nothing more

to say in fact the best song right there it just gets me going if I was in that

crowd even though I'm an old I'm an old ass 42 year old I would be out there and

probably acting like I'm freaking 20 and coming home feeling like like dog shit

the next day that would be hurt I'd be right in there in the mosh pits and shit

so um again I did this song right here just because I want to let everyone in

on that I had for certain song certain bands and and stuff litera I haven't I

haven't done any of their stuff so far so that's for any of the support or fans

out there that was for you guys and if you like what you've seen on my reaction

there's there's more heavy stuff on my channel you can scroll through and if

you you know don't mind subscribe to my channel and I don't want to take up much

more of anyone's time I just want us off with hope everyone's having a good day

and good night and yeah peace out everyone

100% Honest Slime Review (OOOZY.SLIME) (Philippines)| Adrian Anore - Duration: 3:09.

Hey guys Adrian here in this video

I'm going to be doing a 100% honest review of OOOZY.SLIMES, which is a Filipino slime shop before that

Click that red subscribe button and turn on post notifications so that you'll be notified whenever I upload a new video without any further ado

Let's get started

The slime came with slime care sheet a thank you note and a teaspoon of borax

So this is her Cereal Milk Slime oh my gosh guys. It's so thick so glossy and so stretchy and the scent was just

Amazing. It was a bit tough when it when it first touched it but i added just a tiny bit of lotion

It made it the perfect texture

And the scent at first I thought it was scented like medicine because it really kinda smells like medicine and the antibiotic ones

so I

So I looked for the slime description. It's actually scented like milk. So I was like,

Is that the scent of milk? I don't really know because I really don't drink milk

So I got some milk and smelled it. Hey actually smells just like milk. So maybe it's just me being dumb and does not

Smell that way the texture it's so stretchy and it gets very fluffy, but it doesn't inflate

It's also super thick very pokey and very very glossy. So yeah, and enough of the talking. Let's go straight to the ASMR

Thank you so much guys for watching see in my next video. Bye
