Problems - Book Review - Duration: 7:48.

hi I'm David and today I'm gonna be

reviewing problems by Jade Sharma okay

so this is my first book review so it's

a little awkward or short or whatever

I'm still trying to get the the formula

down so I'm still working on a rating

system - I kind of wanted to start off

in a dark place so we're starting with

problems it's a really dark gritty novel

problems is about Maya

a young witty heroin addict living in

New York City trying to make it with her

dead-end job at a bookstore and her life

just falls apart early on her husband

leaves her the professor who she's

having an affair with also leaves her

and she's left just her and her heroine

trying to make it moral and Wow this

story is it's dark there's there's a lot

of like about the story this is such a

well-written story I have a dialogue

it's filled little subtext

creating that constant tension you know

between what's being said well that's

actually going through my head

can Jay Sharma I mean her prose it's

great it's you know what I'm gonna read

a brief passage from the book just seen

get a feel for what her prose is like so

I'll try that again the soundtrack of

the night loops every 12 hours the hum

of the refrigerator the blare of a siren

going by the sound of someone turning on

a faucet somewhere in the building the

Saturday night remix of the chatter of

drunk guys who smoke cigarettes in the

courtyard and called each other bro

interspersed with the forest of drunk

girls high-pitched squeals every time a

raspberry bush

and career

now they're frozen it's concise and it

conveys mood as well as the description

to the Senate like it describes the

emotional set it does such a good job

Ballack you get the filling

sleazy Saturday night and vixen and she

conveys that so well in every scene in

every

moment

and every change of scenery you get that

she just some verses he went to that

world and once seen it she describes in

great detail my taking his shit while

she's at work and for a moment I was

like is this going too far like I don't

want to read about that you know it's

disgusting but at the same time it set

the mood and the mood was shit and you

know it's just there's a lot of pretty

things like that to where it's just raw

and real and dark and it feels like real

life like when shit is just not working

and the dark places we go to and and it

captures that feeling so well I think

it's why really resonates with me

I mean who can't relate to so whatever

your situation is to feeling like

sometimes everything's falling to shit

everything's just falling apart

and yet you come to this moment where

you're like you know what it'll be okay

and that's what this book has and I and

I don't know if that's a spoiler or

maybe a misinterpretation of what

happens in the story and you can decide

if you read it yourself you can decide

once you pick it up and read it but hey

to me this is a story about and the

stage is Maya goes through there is a

well-constructed arc that she goes

through and it's not like at the end

like okay everything goes to shit

it's getting worse worse worse and then

all of a sudden she hits the lotto and

becomes you know a millionaire or

whatever or something great happens no

you're not going to get that so don't

look for it everything is going to be

dark and shitty but the change is gonna

happen on the

and it's really important and powerful

and up until the last moment I think it

really hits you

and it's only like what 200 pages or

something close to that it's a really

short book so I mean you can pick it up

to kotor quickly in it but it is

profoundly powerful now when i say it's

dark book i mean it's and you pick this

up it will be what you expect yet still

be surprised like you're still gonna be

shocked

okay there's there's a lot of you know

cheating and sex and grittiness I say

gritty I'm gonna say gritty way too many

times in this review I can tell already

and there's so many scenes where you can

have a peasant lab because she's just

trying to human you know she's trying to

go somewhere it just just pretend like

the rough like a lot of us do we just go

there and look I'm just trying to be

normal and there's nobody look at me

you know I just wanna do my own thing

whatever and man there's a couple times

where she's really trying not to be

noticed and of course she's noticed and

a big argument happens over you know

about her while she was sitting right

there wishing she could die because oh

man you really cringe for her you just

be like Oh

you've ever been in a situation like

that

so let's see me and my brother have a

movie channel in which we review movies

video games and we have a 1 to 6 rating

scale I'm gonna borrow that just for

this video until I come up with a better

rating system for books if I had to give

this book a rating I would give it a 6

out of 6 because it's very unique

original and it has a powerful message

it makes you feel something and I don't

think that's what you know art should do

and and it's well done I mean the the

prose is is engaging and the pros who

really you know sets the mood

there's no it's not really an info dump

Maya talks about her life and it's

always funny and engaging and it's

constantly entertaining it's short but I

think for what it is I don't know what

it could have done better and not only

did it check all the boxes for me and I

think it was something original and

creative and that's that's what I look I

mean for what it's supposed to be this

is a dark story dark and gritty

yeah I've said it a bunch of times but

it nails it I mean you get you get the

realism you get an up-close maybe too

close view of this person's life just

falling apart and the changes she goes

through on the inside and it's an

amazing story and I don't know what more

I could have wanted from it

and I mean for it to do everything well

and be original and creative I mean that

that's what it takes from me that's what

it takes for me to get a perfect score

or to get a six out of six again I'll

probably change the rating system

dealing with books I feel like it's

almost a little more complicated

trying to rate them I'm recommending

that you read problems by Jade Sharma

and check it out

this was my first book review so

hopefully it wasn't too awkward but uh

yeah I'll try to improve and we'll see

Fallkniven S1 Knife Review. Beating on the Classic Outdoor Survival Knife. - Duration: 8:45.

I'm kind a city slicker nowadays.

YEAH BOY I COULD TELL YA WERE ONE.

It's ok I can use that voice without being offensive- I grew up in Arkansas and have

family members that talk like that…

So though I'm a city slicker I still can admire a nice big fixed blade for some future

theoretical camping, or pretending to Youtube Bushcraft- a very specific style of bushcraft

where fires are instantly started with a ferro rod, and creating feather sticks and wood

shaving piles only takes a quick minute or two.

Fallkniven a company from Sweden makes a whole line of fancy yet tough people fixed blades.

And on the other hand I can't do a Swedish accent without creating an international incident-

although I'm really tempted.

The main ones that show up on Youtube and social media outdoor off the grid simple living

accounts with pristene knives are the small F1 with a blade in the mid 3 inch range, the

S1 just over 5 inches and seen here, and the A1 a little over 6 inches.

Now they have pro versions of these nearing $300, but they can eat a feather stick if

they think this guy will pay that much.

And as an aside they make a big ass bowie called the NL1, that's cat call worthy-

but $529.

So let's dimension it up with the S1 standard version with the leather dangler sheath option

that costs more than the standard zytel sheath option, a sheath that somehow manages to look

cheaper and uglier than a Mora's.

Like the overall length and weight.

With and without the sheath.

Looks aside Zytel might be a better option for wetter climates because Zytel is plastic

and leather retains moisture.

Blade size and cutting edge.

Note the perfect convex grind without a microlevel.

Handle size and grip area.

Look it has a glass breaker on the butt- so you can escape your overturned car like on

the infomercials.

Spine thickness and handle thickness.

Yeah it's a stout blade.

I think Cedric and Ada has a shirt for that.

Tallnesses!

One of the trademarks of the Fallkniven alphabet series is the slightly unusual for the type

of knife blade.

A lot of knives in this category are flat or hollow grinds with just a carbon steel

or I guess something nicer like 3V or whatever your into now- but the Fallkniven features

a laminated steel with a convex grind.

Fallkniven uses a few laminated steel varieties but in this particular knife we have what

they call laminated VG10 which uses 420J2 as it's secondary steel.

Laminated means there are a few layers of steel sandwiched or enchanted together because

they say it makes it stronger and more corrosion resistant.

Here is the official statement from their website, so pause it if you're into reading

about steels.

Just make sure the blinds are closed.

Now a convex grind like this is best sharpened free hand or with the sandpaper mouse pad

method to preserves the rounded convex edge.

I'll link a video at the end.

Convex edges are ideal for outdoor general purpose stuff because they're durable due

to the more steel behind the edge.

Breaking up wood, cutting through cardboard in the forest, cleaning kilt animals- whatever.

I will say convex edges are useful, but if you're looking for paper thin cuts or a

super slicer knife, thinner behind the edge knives with a thinner blade stock are better,

if you need Youtube chef precision.

A sharp S1 pro cuts and splits, versus cuts and slices, if that makes sense.

Just make sure you keep it sharp.

Different thickness convex edges on other knives may yield different results- I'm

just referring to this knife.

I'm sure you have a convex edge that's a better slicer than all of your other knives

an I'm wrong.

The handle.

The handle has a full length tang, not quite full height- just do a google image search

to see what I mean.

It's fairly tall and to be quite honest, shouldn't be any difference in overall strength

than a full height full length tang.

Yes even your hard use.

Fallkniven refers to it as a broad tang.

The handle covering is not removable without cutting it off, but it's a type of TPE called

Thermorun containing rubber and plastic.

Crass speaking of course.

I'm just saying if you use technical terms that refer to the chemical component makeup

of the handle and call it crass terminology when there's not a single fuck to be found

anywhere you're showboating.

So kudos for Fallkniven for creating a product description that talks down to the reader.

It doesn't really have much give to it, so it's hard, but offers a ton of grip.

It would be super swell if Fallkniven would make a removable esee style handle, if it

ever needed replacement after hard use, but they don't.

That's what duck tape and paracord are for.

The handle is comfortable, great in forest slime, and fit my hand well.

Although I'm not gonna lie I think I wish I got the A1 now.

The sheath.

I got the leather option because I wanted to spend $30 more.

I tend to store my knives inside, and generally don't play outside when wet, so leather

makes sense.

Leather on the interior can retain moisture if you put your knife away wet, so think about

the hideous Zytel sheath if you are constantly in wet survival style situations- or are covered

in blood because you're that fucking tactical.

The sheath dangles, just like I like, it's thick welted leather, so it should last a

lifetime or until you throw it up on knife club in carried a few times but never used

condition.

How about comparisons.

I knew you'd ask!

First the S1.

The fit and finish of the knife is great.

It just feels well thought out an functional.

I know the knife industrial complex loves churning out new designs and upgrades, to

make you want to upgrade after you've upgraded… but I like this simple aesthetic.

And hey they make a more expensive version just to keep a fool and his money separate.

Grippy, durable, and tasteful.

Now the Survival combat ready Dogs Head Utility knife.

I'll be honest, I like the standard edge of this a bit better- however the blade is

kind of a ridiculous length- but sometimes I don't make the best decisions so I still

like it.

It's also half the price.

Now the Esee 3.

One of these days I'm gonna get an uncoated Esee, but until Esee offers me a free one,

or I find a good deal on one, I'll just wait.

Smaller…

I like more better the micarta handle to the TPE, crass speaking.

Now the Vangedal Rover.

Thin flat grind, a bit better for slicing I think.

Despite having a wood handle this one has held up well to abuse and camping and is only

$40.

This might be a better value on a budget.

Ok that's it, I mean not quite IT.

The fallkniven is an excellent Swedish made by way of Japan knife.

As in like their knives are made mostly or all-ly in Japan.

But they think about them in Sweden.

Like some spydercos!

I've used this knife quite a bit on breaking down all of my amazon knife packaging.

And some food, and you know backyard stuff too.

Long term testing will reveal is this becomes a favorite knife of mine.

I have quite a few knives now- but seeing as Ive had requests for this and see it talked

about on the internet a lot I thought I'd try it.

You know a knife has to be good if people talk for pages about it on the internet.

If you're doing some dumb stuff with your knife, like battening- the larger A1 might

be better with a longer blade.

I ain't gonna be the channel to tell you to get a smaller knife- because that's stupid!

If you're a boring dude or dudette and are eating and cleaning game the smaller Esee

3 sized F1 or this one are good choices.

The knife is well balanced and just feels right but a little expensive in my hand.

What they actually teach in this course is push notification. So this is something that's really really exploding in the marketplace right now

Hey everyone! Greg from CARiD.com and welcome back to the shop. And in today's

video I have with me a functional and stylish bed accessory that may just be

the perfect new addition for your pickup. This time it's from the team over at

Black Horse off-road and this is their Armor series roll bar. So in this video I

want to review every single detail of this armor roll bar from Black Horse

including its features construction and even how to get it installed so let's

get started. Alright guys, so here it is - this is Black Horse off-roads armored

bed roll bar. Now not too long ago I reviewed a set of their front and rear

armor off-road bumpers and considering their price and available options I

really felt they wear a fantastic value. So when I found out I could get my hands

on one of their bed roll bars I just had to check it out. This Black Horse Armor

roll bar is the perfect for the pickup owner that wants to spice up the styling

of their truck and also make it more functional. Now when it comes to strength

and styling Black Horse uses thick 3 inch square tubing to ensure that

this roll bar is gonna hold up over time. And of course the entire roll bar is

then coated in a textured black powder coat for that signature off-road look

and to keep the metal protected from corrosion but we all know that the main

reason that most of us even want a roll bar in the bed of our truck is for

auxiliary lighting. While this armor roll bar from Black Horse has plenty of room

for that. You can choose to install a series of individual pod lights or just

go all out and install a massive single or even double row light bar up to 50

inches long. With this row bar you're gonna have plenty of space to mount all

the lighting that you could possibly need for the perfect offroad visibility.

Alright now that we have all the features and construction of this roll

bar covered let's talk about the installation. Now I do want to make all

of you guys aware that this roll bar will involve some drilling into your

truck to get it installed. Now if you don't feel comfortable with that just

take it down to your local shop and they can handle that for you. Now for those of

you that aren't doing this on your own and installing it yourself it is pretty

easy and you only need some basic hand tools and a drill. First do assemble

the roll bar. And that's gonna be bolting together the horizontal connection plate

in the center to the sides with it assembled place it on the bed rails of

your truck and use a marking tool to mark where you're going to need to drill.

After that it's just a matter of drilling a few holes and using the

provided hardware to then bolt it into place. Wire

the lighting of your choice and you're gonna be ready for some late night

There was one instance that I went back

and I checked some closed captioning on a video

to discover that about two minutes of content

was not properly captioned.

I reached out to Rev's support

and they took care of that instantly.

Now, this is the big plus about Rev.com.

They're speediness.

Not only do they consider themselves 99.9% accurate,

they are also quick at doing it.

So, if I have a three to five minute video,

it's typically taking them about an hour to two hours

at best, sometimes I've seen some captions

get finished within minutes of me submitting it.

For longer files, it'll take typically 24 hours

for them to get back to you,

but it's really, really awesome.

and today let's talk about Bitcoin HD it's very interesting product and I hope

BitcoinHD is soon to be released and it will totally change the current landscape of bitcoin mining

ASIC monopoly has given miner producers the power to raise miner

price at their will, mining farm centralization has caused barrier to

Chick-Fil-A Kid's Meal! A Dad's Review - Duration: 12:36.

everyone today I'm at the chick-fil-a I think this one was by request I think

someone requested chick-fil-a but anyway I'm gonna check out their kids meal now

if chick-fil-a supposed to be one of the healthier options for children these

days so I just wanted to check that out and see what kind of kid's meal they

have now I got the what my daughter Addie always normally gets which is the

grilled nuggets I'm more of a fried nuggets guy but she always gets the

grilled so that's I'm gonna review today um you got four of these um you got a

waffle fries by default that's what they automatically give you if you don't ask

for anything special now I did though just for the purposes of the review I

bought this as an extra they do offer a fruit cup they didn't suggest it I had

to I had to say hey can I have the fruit cup as well and then there's dipping

sauce for my nuggets I got honey mustard it's my favorite and now chick-fil-a

what I like about them is they will give you either a book or something they tend

to be a little more educational but it still tends to be fun sometimes they're

games involving cards and things like that

this one they said was a book but it says lunchbox notes so we'll check that

out after we check out the meal so let me just oh and I forget if I said I got

a juice box I got the honest kids juice box instead of getting a instead of

getting soda pop like I normally do some people call it soda some people

call it pop so anyway let's start with the Nuggets this is the grilled Nuggets

they have this is not easy to open for a kid's meal okay that can be a good thing

when you're driving they have like some sear marks on air to show that they have

been grilled that's pretty cool these are actually really hot so that's a good

thing let me just try one playing without the dip okay all right um that's

actually pretty good this is the grain of the

chicken is is this real chicken this isn't chicken that has been compressed

in the Nuggets or anything like this you can actually the meat still has its

original grain so these are literally just chunks of chicken this is a little

tad on the salty side for me and for I think for children ahem you know I would

prefer to see a little less salt kids tend to have a little more sensitive

palate but it's it's really tasty delicious chicken even I don't actually

even need to dip it into the mustard sauce um but I will whenever I finish

this off now I won't finish this all on camera because that would just be a

boring video so anyway I'm gonna seal this up and eat the rest later now let

me check out these fries before they get cold

okay so full disclosure I'm a big fan of chick-fil-a waffle fries especially the

ones that actually are waffled I don't like when you get like one of those real

fat and sometimes with a lot of peel on it I don't mind the peel it's I hate

when they get those really thick ends but um when they're like this they're

great so I'm gonna try these out okay that that was a good fry that's a very

good fry even playing without ketchup delicious nice crisp just the right

amount of salt these are really well done

nicely done fries so um I will finish those off later as well I don't waste

any food on this show trust me now I'll try actually I'll try the fruit before I

try the fruit drink because those drinks tend to be so sugary and then it'll

probably spoil my taste buds for the fruit so this fruit actually looks good

for a fruit cup I mean look at that that's that's not bad at all it's nice

and colorful a lot of times when you get these fruit cups everything seems kinda

it's either canned fruit or it has that kind of like worn-out look to it I'm

like it's been sitting around this really actually looks good I mean look

at those strawberries they still have like a nice crisp edge to them so let me

try one of those okay that that was a good strawberry I mean this is not gonna

be a hard sell to kid that you know that this fruit is

anything less you know sweet than they deserved or something like because this

is really good I'll try some of the other fruits in here I'm gonna have to

get the spoon or fork for that yeah they do provide you with a fork it's just

nice and then this looks like a these probably are canned these are what are

those called um they're not tangerines but I forget there's a name for them I'm

sure someone will let me know okay that was good very good orange slice and I'm

gonna try the Apple okay no problem with the apple now these blueberries are

they're gonna be the real test cuz blueberries are very hard to keep fresh

for any length of time most of the time when you get blueberries from a

secondary source other than your grocer they're gonna have kind of a beat-up

pulpy look to them but this I mean that really it feels firm that's not a bad

looking blueberry and all of them look like that so I'm gonna try this one out

very good this this whole fruit cup I would recommend even if you're not a big

fan of fruit I would recommend going for the fruit is healthier and this is

particularly good fruit and I mean for you to have to prepare all this fruit

yourself would be a pain so it's nice to be able to go chick-fil-a just drive

through and get a fruit cup probably be a nice daily habit I can get into well

maybe not daily but um I can get expensive oh and I still need to do this

and I will mention how much this cost but I'm gonna have to back out the cost

of that fruit cup from the regular kids meal okay I checked out the receipt and

for the kids meal itself with that be the nuggets the frost and the drink four

forty five so that's definitely on the higher end

definitely it's the highest of any of the ones we've gone to so far now this

is chicken as opposed to hamburgers so I don't know if there's a difference there

I actually thought chicken was supposed to be cheaper but this one's kind of

heartbreaking the fruit cup if you just get the fruit cup as an add-on 2.49 now

that so that fruit cup alone is higher than the cost of just getting the

Wendy's kids meal although that was on sale when I went to that so 2.49 is quite

a bit so I mean you could start to see why people struggle to

you come up with healthy options I mean if you have several kids and they all

want a fruit cup that that can really add up there so 2.49 is a bit high now I

could have had the fruit cup instead of the fries so I think that's the way to

go I don't believe there's an upcharge on the kids meal I know there is an

upcharge on the adult meal if you get it so that probably is the way to go if

you're gonna do that and I have a healthy option so let's see what the now

this is called Apple-y ever after so I'm assuming it's apple juice but they just

say organic juice drink so this is most likely not pure apple juice it is

probably infused with juice it's got 100 percent of your vitamin C it just oh

it's from concentrate so there you go but anyway okay um I'm surprised this is

fairly watered-down tasting not super-sweet either and I'm actually

thinking that's probably a good thing as far as children and dental health are

concerned it it doesn't seem to be particularly over sugared which is a

good thing and it's kind of refreshing to actually do not have like a syrupy

kind of kids drink for once so this isn't bad and this is a USD it's stamped

certified USDA organics not bad at all so let me um oh the toy you all want to

see the toy okay so it's tiny prints lunchbox notes and there is a coupon for

then they do offer an option for three ages three and under our books as well

which is nice now it's says tiny Prince notes collect all five and this has like

a metallic this is like a basically a lunchbox almost it's got a little whale

on it cute let's see what our lunchbox notes still

waiting to find out okay these are new these are note cards they have a little

band around them I don't know what you do with these let

me see some now there's probably watching you say I know if you do know

oh these are nice little notes that you can give to your friends kind of like

thank-you notes but there are all kinds this one says I like hanging around with

you and there's a - and a from and there's an encouraging note it says

chase your dreams - from so these are these are pretty cool this is something

different a lot of these toys kids will play with them for like five minutes

while they're eating and that's basically it and then they either take

them home or they throw them out and both you know and the ones that could

take a note probably never get played with again so this is actually something

nice to give notes to people I'm gonna give these to people in my life so well

always be friends some of them have cheesy puns on them so but that's kind

of cute and they have you can keep them in your note tin and presumably you can

buy more of these notes based on yeah they have a little thing in here $20 off

your order although I can't imagine buying $20 worth of notes but I'll have

to look into that to see what what exactly you get um but that's nice I

mean you spread a little bit of positivity in the world and I think you

know not too many toys do that they're nice for the kid he's playing with them

right at the moment and then you know that no one gets to share so that's

pretty cool so I'm gonna put this back so yeah I'm continuing to do these

videos without Jillian and Adi on Wednesdays for the time being I'm if you

don't like them that's fine you can skip them but we will get back to normal at

some point but we're doing some traveling the girls they're still

getting adjusted to their school schedule and of course we have the

like looking at the Halloween decorations so the other thing we've

done if you like amusement park rides stuff like that fairs festivals we've

been doing a lot of that kind of thing but what was some educational things

I'll be releasing weekly content in regards to e-commerce Shopify dropshipping and everything online entrepreneurship that some of you guys

know I'm not kind of traveling around how something

everything's gone great I'm super excited for what's in store for you guys

is a busy area where I'm at but I want to show you guys this beautiful view

right now it is completely stunning in today's video I'm gonna be reviewing the

Shopify stores of various subscribers I'm not holding anything back so don't

be offended some of its gonna be a little bit brutal it's gonna be for your

own good because I'm not gonna be lying to you and while we're at it I'm gonna

show you some examples of some really good stores as well so you can kind of

model those those little aspects for your own success

so let's go ahead and jump right into the content will teleport over to my

mmm all right all right so assume you guys know I am travelling so I didn't

bring my big desk microphone with me so the audio is not going to be the best

we're just using the internal microphone on my macbook here but by the way guys

I'm gonna give my perspective in my opinion people might disagree with me

but let's just see what I see at first glance we'll try to keep this video

relatively short so Rome PD first thing I notice is it has like three pop-ups

now I did sit on this page for a minute before I started the video so some of

these pop-ups were delayed but three is just too much this looks incredibly

spammy now this wheel pop-up is a good one but let's exit through these and see

what happens here before I even exited there's some pop-up that was in the very

back there that just vanished so I don't know what that said but we're gonna go

ahead and exit on that we're gonna exit on this one you need one pop-up if

you're gonna have a pop-up it should be delayed a little bit in my opinion maybe

15 seconds after they kind of browse around a little bit then a pop-up shows

up but that email captured the wheel one is a good one but there's actually one

that's non-invasive and it's different kinds of games that I want to show you

guys I actually made a video and one of my apps videos I'll leave a link to that

in my description but I'll actually leave a link to specifically the email

capture application that I really like they have a free package I personally

have the maxed out package of like $29 a month but they do offer free package

that you can use I'll leave the link in the description for that have a notebook

out because I'm gonna be running through

these relatively quickly I want you to be able to take notes another thing I

noticed with this one the colors in my opinion look great if this is for women

well it looks like it's for men it looks like there is some men's clothing here

as well like maybe to cater for women that are visiting and want buy some for

their boyfriend or husband or perhaps men that are visiting and want to buy a

gift for their female companion you might be able to upsell them on a men's

item or something like that but overall I like the color scheme it is feminine

so it might not appeal to men too much but it does look great I don't know if

this is just a glitch on my end but it looks like there's some issue with the

image when I scroll up it's blank and it kind of appears when I scroll down maybe

that's just a problem with my particular browser it might be my connection just

take a look at that maybe that's the issue that other people see as well you

guys need to have a chat application I'll leave a link in the description to

my favorite chat app so that you can help customers directly right away as

soon as they're visiting because as I've spoke about in my other videos in this

era of the internet and online shopping some people are receiving their products

same day when they order you know they're getting customer service

straight away when they ask for it people don't want to wait 24 to 48 hours

for customer service so it's super powerful just having a chat app I'm

scrolling down here this reminds me of one of those nice kind of female

clothing stores that have a small section for men just to cater to the men

that are perhaps going there with their girlfriends or wives or shopping for

their girlfriends and then potentially see something for themselves that they

would like overall the color scheme looks great the website looks great this

seems like maybe it's a paid theme not one of the free themes and if you guys

if anybody is using a free theme I have in the link in my description I have a

theme that I highly suggest you use that has helped my store convert a whole

bunch you want to break away from the free themes that everybody has as much

as possible so let's just go with the about S section real quick I'm not gonna

take all day reading through here but okay it tells a little story okay so I

was wondering what Rome PD meant I wasn't sure about that you guys explain

it right here okay that's a creative name I like

okay good deal and I just noticed here you guys have a phone number that's

fantastic just definitely add that chat app you

guys have a lot of customer service methods right here

overall it's looking great now let's look at some items here let's see really

what okay so it looks like you guys might have a lot of men's products

okay the images look nice here my internet connection is a little bit slow

but let's see here it looks like pretty high quality images I don't like this

thing that popped up here this I don't like that just get I'm sitting here

reading that and that kind of popped out of the way or popped in the way there

that I might consider taking that away here you have a urgency timer two days

that's not really giving urgency for someone to purchase and if you're going

to see one it within like a few hours ideally because this is it it's gonna

give some oh I got a couple days to come back and buy it they're not really gonna

be interested or they're not gonna really feel urgent to come to pick that

out okay you have a McAfee secure sort of identity protection button here

there's an application that I use for trust badges that is very clean and

simple that you can install and you could change the coloring to match the

theme of your store so it looks real nice if you guys want to check out my

videos about applications that you need I have two videos I think with various

apps that I suggest you might go into the descriptions and kind of describe

how this particular product will enhance somebody's life and just another thing

maybe these are your professional photos but in case it's not you know everybody

wants to make sure that you take your own professional photos so it's unique

and not just taken right off Aliexpress I don't know where you're sourcing your

products maybe these are your professional photos I know right now

jumpsuits and rompers are really popular at least and Philippines I don't know if

it's the same case and whatever Target or whatever country you're targeting but

I would maybe keep whatever sort of style is trending very accessible maybe

something on the front page or it's something like that one last thing you

need a push notification requests like push owl I'll leave a link in the

description to that if you don't know what push notification request is it's

just something that pops up here the secure section here pops up and it asks

permission from the visitor to allow notifications you need this installed

because it's super vital you get free marketing to people that allow

for notifications to be sent if a customer allows this notifications will

be sent to the home page of their phone so it's free marketing for you it's more

likely for people to see it and if you have that push notification request set

up with a customer they will not only receive it on their phone but the last

actually get desktop notifications as well if they're browsing your website on

desktop and it's kind of non-invasive so and a lot of websites have it anymore

a lot of websites have it and I don't even know is the application that you

need to install until I had a Shopify store only just a general suggestion I

don't know what you guys are using for your email service provider a lot of

people think email service provider means just a platform that you use for

your business emails email service provider is the platform that you use

for email marketing and in the description I'm going to leave a link to

my favorite email service provider that pretty much runs my entire business it's

mostly but if they click around and they see the home page I'd be turning it

right back around with these crappie images now same goes for your logo here

is good you have a logo but it looks like you use one of those online kind of

logo makers that give you like a few different designs that you can choose

from and you could put in your own text and then those are I mean it's better

than nothing I guess but first of all it needs to have a transparent background

you can't just have a white box here and I would

ahead and happy I see the images are crappy quality go on fiverr.com pay five

bucks and have a logo made it's a good investment but having a logo like this

it'd be better not to have one at all in my opinion but for five dollars you

could go to fiber comm and you could have a professional logo Beit they do a

great job you do not have a chat app so listen to what I said about and the

previous one you need to have that chat application you should also have a push

notification request just like I mentioned in the other video or the

other shop you need to have your own domain this is the domain that you gave

me and I think it was one of the groups maybe you do have a domain but if not

you need to purchase your own domain so you get a big five pieces comm without

the my Shopify in there free shipping over fifty now it's your drop shipping

from Aliexpress just get free shipping for everything if you have a local

supplier and you're actually paying decent amounts for shipping then maybe

you could arrange free shipping for over $50 but if your drop shipping from China

and the shipping is so low just offer free shipping all around people are

ordering from Amazon mostly your competition as Amazon I went into videos

on how we can compete with the Amazon I'm not gonna go into it now but you

need to be offering free shipping on all orders as much as possible with your

drop shipping from Amazon sorry drop shipping from Aliexpress and also this

is not necessarily good grammar I think in at least American English

free shipping for buys over 50 I think by erisa paper choises free shipping for

purchases over 50 and if you're gonna have shipping capitalized you need to

have the rest of this capitalized FB and oh I'd say something like free shipping

worldwide up top here you don't have like an About Us or like any policies or

anything like that see on this page they kind of have like a about us a men's or

a new arrival is a blog section you scroll down and you have various menus

and information you guys want to make sure you have like policies your return

policy see privacy policy let's see if it's down at the bottom here yeah down

the bottom it looks like you have a privacy policy or refund in Terms of

Service about us I would maybe have and us at top and like a contact us at top

but you do need that chat application I did not see any email capture I don't

know if I talked about this already I'm getting kind of mixed up but I do not

see any email capture again like the last one I will leave a link in the

just noticed you need a fav icon fab icon I don't know really how to

pronounce it you see what he or she has at this Rome Feeny web site he or she

when I click shop now it doesn't do anything it just brings it right back to

the home page now the shop now' button just links to the home page

that's something needs to be fixed scrolling down here hey sir define decor

so as I'm scrolling down here it kind of looks like I didn't really know the

definition of decor but I guess it kind of includes

furnishing in just decoration in general looks like the featured collections here

if you got featured collections I would have whatever items were the most

trending it looks like you kind of just threw whatever you want on here I keep

the home page if you're gonna have items on there to really what's most popular

when I'm going through here I don't really know the thought processes on

anything or what you guys really have going on here so I'm just kind of it's

just my perspective from someone that has no idea what you're doing here but

for your images I would order the main images that you're marketing for and

have your own pictures taken or at very least remove the watermark that you got

off Aliexpress when I click bestsellers it brings me to this featured collection

one I don't think saying featured collection

one is very professional or elegant I figured out something else and I'd be

curious have you done market research have you tested these products are these

really bestsellers why are they necessarily here maybe you've done some

research maybe they're big sellers I don't know another thing I'm noticing is

basically everything is on sale when I click shop it brings to the same page as

bestsellers they both go they both go to feature collection one and when I'm over

here there's no way to go back home oh I'm wrong the button works there should

be a home button up top here that's one thing you do need you need a button that

links you back to home not everybody I know that they need to click the

on there so it looks like most your items are just plastered all over the

homepage here I would have everything kind of sectioned off and make a

collection section so when you go to shop you have categories that you can

choose from and you can browse that way but this is all just stuff to keep in

mind I'm just going through these policies and making sure that they're

there I'm not gonna keep it the video when you click homepage it just brings

you to this it's more of like an about Us page when you click home page it

should literally bring you to the home page so instead the same home page it

should say about us and it looks like you have two about us pages so there's a

lot of kind of mixed-up stuff here see we're FAQ brings us

okay that's film and I'm not gonna sit here and read at all terms of service

I'm just gonna go through and make sure that there's actually text filled in but

one thing I did notice just looking at the privacy policy here you gotta go

through and edit the privacy policy because it looks like this looks very

unprofessional insert if age restriction is required and you have the option to

insert age here so go through and really make sure you have all the details

figured out you have to run through your website as if you are in a customer and

you will kind of see all the flaws that you have as you're going really pay

attention to details because customers at this point we're just turned right

back around all right we're gonna go ahead and we'll look at this one here

Suzy ami so it says when I arrived here it says hi opt in and receive a discount

click send to messenger and you'll automatically be opted a so I guess

that's a method where you are getting people to opt in for your facebook chat

bot what when I click no I didn't opt in but this might be a glitch that you have

if your discount code is discount code here you might have to change that or

maybe that's a code that appears when I actually opt in I don't know

keep in mind though you might want to specify the exact percentage discount

that they will receive if they go ahead and opt in keep in mind not everybody

has facebook if you're running any other kind of marketing whether it's Google

ads or Instagram influencers you might find some people that don't have

facebook so you want to have kind of a way they could opt in at very least you

can receive their email just in case they don't have messenger it's good you

have a chat personally I like to have it chat app that is not through messenger

just for that small percentage of people that do not have Facebook and in my

nation particular a lot of people don't have Facebook so you'll have to kind of

judge your particular situation now I'd be curious I went ahead and signed in to

be able to have the option to message on Facebook if I wanted I'd be curious if

because you kind of have to opt-in twice for messenger I'd be curious and opting

in this way gifts you attack gets me opted into the chat bot the same way

that the initial opt-in did or not if these are the same that initial pop-up

and this chat message are the same you only want to have one I don't know if

they're the same though and if you're interested I'll leave the link in the

like that I noticed too you don't have a push notification request just like we

were mentioning before I'm seeing these partner ads I'm not sure what this is

you have a good reason for it you guys do need a favicon up top here like I

mentioned before I like the color scheme it looks elegant it's pretty it's

relaxing it kind of reminds me of home bedding and stuff like that but there

might be one I would maybe have this text a little bit larger and do some

research do some market research get opinions from people if they find this

text is hard to read or not me and you can probably read it fine but different

people see things differently and that text might be that font might be

difficult for people to read so just ask around get people's opinions take a poll

or something see what people think maybe in various groups by the way I have a

small group you guys could join as well if you haven't been a part of that free

mentorship I'll leave the link in the description for that scrolling down all

the images are kind of consistent you have the items being used in real life

instead of just having like the item taking a picture

you know you have an example of all the items being used in real life which is

good you have the nice different categories here gym candles

maybe have that more evident up top you know let people know that you're

offering a free gift that might be a good option

have one of those bars up here let people know there's a free gift if

you're offering free shipping I don't know if you are not make sure you

indicate that okay says post is just free you want to make it very evident

that postage is free and that you're offering a free gift as well not

everybody is going to scroll down and to learn that they get a free gift if it's

taking 13 to 20 days for delivery you want to indicate why and actually this

goes for everybody everybody that has a store if if you're drop shipping and it

takes a long time for the products to arrive you want to indicate very very

clearly that due to high demand the product may take 14 to 21 days for

delivery or however many days that is I like to say days instead of weeks so

this goes for all the stores if you did not make it very clear let's see what we

got here I like galaxy I love galaxy stuff it looks like the image here

unless it's my connection the image quality is kind of bad get HD images for

everything these are sick I totally buy these this one's probably my favorite so

let's look at the descriptions here three posters with tracking again if

your drop shipping and it's gonna take more than a week for the product to

arrive make it very very clear it should be on the sales page it should be on the

order confirmation email thank you email it should be on the thank you page it

needs to be very clear on how long it's gonna take for their product to arrive

and again I'll leave the trust badge out the particular app that I like so you

can use it as well trust badge app will be in the description again there's

these partner products I'm not sure what that is maybe let me know in the

description what the deal is with these partner products and again through the

email marketing I'm going to leave a link that's in the description to the

most important email marketing platform that I use I highly suggest all of you

guys get it it's probably the most important part of running a Shopify

store so you need to take advantage of that I'm gonna leave the link in the
