News on Youtube Nov 2 2018

to my mind antifreeze poisoning in cats rates as the most serious common

toxicity seen in veterinary practice stay tuned as I discuss why this is what

symptoms and signs to look out for how much antifreeze will kill a cat and just

how likely they are to survive I've we've not met before I'm dr. Alex from

ourpetshealth.com and my aim is to help you and your cat to live a

healthier happier life so make sure you're subscribed if that's something

that you're interested in so what is antifreeze and where is it found well

the main active ingredient in antifreeze is a chemical known as ethylene glycol

and it is this that is poisonous so don't confuse this with propylene glycol

which is a completely different chemical that is found in many products as well

as certain foods and drinks propylene glycol can be found in certain

antifreeze products but even here it is generally considered safe ethylene

glycol is the ingredient you need to be worried about so now that confusion is

out of the way where do you find antifreeze well the most common use of

anti freezes in cars either radiator fluid screen wash and some d

ices understandably then the most common source of antifreeze poisoning in cats

is in garages driveways and in workshops so antifreeze is those sometimes put in

the water of ornamental ponds and water features in gardens and poisoning has

been known to occur from this source even though the product has been diluted

with a large amount of water so how is antifreeze poisonous to cats well one

big issue with antifreeze is the fact that it seems to be attractive to cats

it has a sweet taste which makes it appealing to dogs and children now as

you may know that cats can't actually taste sweet but nonetheless they do

still appear to be attracted to the taste of antifreeze and this is a real

problem as it doesn't take much hantai freeze to be poisonous to cats as I'll

discuss a little bit later so the signs and symptoms of antifreeze poisoning in

cats can be broken down really into three stages in stage one that starts as

early as 30 minutes after consuming the poison and it can last for about 12

hours or so it's characterized by nervous signs and that includes

incoordination wobbliness disorientation mental depression you're also likely to

see vomiting alongside an increase in thirst and urination

Stage two takes place between hours 12 and 24 following poisoning and during

this time your cat actually might seem to be improving but really underneath

the surface irreversible damage will be taking place and stage 3 is when

complete renal failure takes place urine stops being produced in the symptoms of

this include lethargy anorexia dehydration vomiting diarrhea or

alliteration salivation fast heart rate fast breathing possible seizures and

coma the kidneys also might be swollen and painful on examination and as you

can imagine this is ultimately then fatal so not all cats will progress in

exactly this order and in this timeframe even so though it's clear that the

poisoning is both fast-acting and rapidly fatal but how is ethylene glycol

poisoning then diagnosed well it can be difficult there are test kits available

but they're not very accurate with some medications causing a false positive

results and they might actually not be sensitive enough in cats to pick up all

cases of poisoning so they can incorrectly come back as a negative

result in my experience this means that most practices will not even stock these

tests a blood test though to look at general body and organ health will often

be the first thing to be run in any cat showing some of the symptoms that we've

discussed as a result of antifreeze poisoning so these won't show specific

changes that only antifreeze can cause but instead they'll show changes that

are due to acute kidney failure now this can be due to different diseases of

which antifreeze poisoning is just one urine testing though is also very useful

and in some cases can confirm the diagnosis of ethylene glycol toxicity

and what your vet will be looking for here really is the presence of certain

crystals within the urine so these are only present after about three hours

post poisoning and once a certain amount of kidney damage has taken place urine

stops being produced and so crystals won't be seen in any urine that is

present within the bladder also some antifreeze products contain a dye that

can cause the urine to glow under UV light so that can be another thing to

look for and based on the test results your vet may wish to do other tests such

as abdominal x-rays or rock before reaching a working diagnosis of

antifreeze poisoning in your cat how then do we treat antifreeze poisoning in

cats if we suspect or if we know it has occurred well needless to say treatment

must begin as early as possible in it must be aggressive it if it has any

chance of succeeding this is not to poisoning where treatment can be carried

out to home on a tight budgets if it's to be attempted it must take place in

the veterinary clinic and it may prove to be pretty expensive so to start with

your cat may be made to vomit if there's any poison within the stomach that can

be removed but the issues to this and that it's only really useful in the

first hour of poisoning it shouldn't be done in any cats that are showing

nervous symptoms and cats are notoriously hard to actually makes vomit

in the first place the next step is to try and prevent the

formation of these toxic breakdown chemicals and this can be done with

repeated intravenous ethanol or alcohol injections there is also another drug

called from episode which can be used if available although in again in my

experience that's often not the case and then finally supportive care is

given to try and maintain hydration and support kidney function and control any

other symptoms of poisoning a cat is suffering from so the big question then

how much antifreeze will kill a cat well short answer is not a lot simply walking

through a puddle and then licking their fur clean is likely to mean that cat

ingest enough antifreeze to be fatal and this is not just because cats are so

small they are in fact also over three times more sensitive to ethylene glycol

toxicity than dogs and the toxic dose in cats have undiluted antifreeze is 1.4

mil per kilogram body weight and this means that a standard ten pound or four

and a half kilo cat only needs to drink a little over 6 mil of antifreeze to

develop fatal poisoning a teaspoon of ethylene glycol could kill your cat so

what is the prognosis for a cat that's been poisoned well it's not very good

ethylene glycol poisoning has a reported fatality rate of around 91 to 97 percent

and to be honest I'm surprised it's not higher if you know your cat has been

exposed to antifreeze as soon as it happens then you

to get them to your vet immediately and if that's the case the prognosis might

be actually good but the reality is is that most cases we only know something's

wrong when too much damage has already taken place for a cat to stand any

chance of survival and often it may well in fact be kinder to consider euthanasia

rather than treatment once the diagnosis is confirmed unless you're catching it

really early so prevention then is clearly better than cure for such a

terrible deadly poison and really the energy spent trying to prevent it is

worthwhile and it's not rocket science so the first step is to keep any

products containing ethylene glycol safely locked away you don't even want

to give your cat the chance to lick the outside of a container

disposing of empty containers to prevent this is also very important if possible

you could also switch to an antifreeze product containing propylene glycol

rather than ethylene glycol but unfortunately they're not always

available and where they are they often quite a bit more expensive than our

normal standard antifreeze products now some antifreeze products have a

bittering agent added to make them less appealing to drink but really it's

unclear just how effective this is and cats or dogs or even children and

especially when cats only need to consume such a small amount for a fatal

poison to occur you know by all means use these products but don't let them

change how careful you are in using them and storing them so the next thing to do

to prevent antifreeze poisoning in cats is just to take great care when you are

using any products try and avoid spills and if there are any accidents then make

sure the mess is cleaned up thoroughly straight away also keep your cats away

whenever you're handling these chemicals finally check your car radiator

regularly and immediately repair any leaks you don't want a puddle of liquid

forming under your car especially when it's cold in the woods of an engine may

actually be quite attractive to a cat so have you ever had a cat suffer from

antifreeze poisoning please leave your story in the comments down below just to

help other cat owners understand what it is like and how serious it can be and

how important prevention is also make sure you check out my other articles on

common cat poisons so you can do your best to protect your cat from anything

else that might be toxic to them and until next time i'm dr. alex from our

How Much Sleep You Really Need, According To Science | Inc. - Duration: 1:55.

there are so many high-profile leaders both in business and politics that still

talk about I only sleep four hours a night 98 to 99 percent human brains need

to sleep for seven to nine hours per night all of my clients seem to think

that they're in the 1 to 2 percent don't need to sleep that long and actually the

easiest way to know what your number is is whether you naturally wake up at the

same time at the weekend that you have to wake up during the week if you do

you're probably getting enough sleep if you need to lie in in the mornings at

the weekend or have a nap to catch up on sleep then you're probably not getting

enough during the week long-term if you skimp on your sleep and you're not

regularly getting the amount that you need then this is now causally related

to getting the symptoms of diseases like Alzheimer's and other dementia earlier

then you might have making sure that you get regular good quality and adequate

length of sleep we can prevent the symptoms from showing up earlier there

are a lot of famous politicians that often boasted of only sleeping four or

five hours a night and this is anecdotal but Margaret Thatcher and Ronald Reagan

were famous for saying this and they both ended up getting out Simas the

research does back up that not sleeping enough can lead to getting dementia

later in life but it really worries me that there are still leaders in business

and politics that talk about not sleeping for the right amount of time

and that that's a role model for people think of having enough sleep making your

brain really productive allowing you to be creative and entrepreneurial as the

real badge of honor

- [Snookie] What is that?

- It's your boobies.

- Can you just like give us an example

of this chi chis up thing?

- So ready, just be slunched over kind of, chi chis up.

Yes!

- [Announcer] But being on TV has made Aimee insecure.

- I feel like with Aimee,

she really takes what everyone says to heart.

I wish she just would stop reading

all the negative comments on social media.

- I wanna get a tummy tuck and a ass job.

- [Announcer] Nilsa, on the other hand,

has become more vain.

- What annoys me about Nilsa is she's

all about her looks, her lips, her eyelashes, her boobs.

But at the end of the day Nilsa

is super loyal and she is a down-ass bitch.

- [Announcer] They are on the same page

about these tattoos, though.

- So why are we here today?

- I want to teach Aimee a lesson.

- I want to teach Nilsa a lesson.

- [Aimee] I'm about to get very angry.

- [Nico] I understand.

- Anger management taught me to breathe.

- Jordan, come on out and join us please.

- [Jordan] So, I hope you're not upset.

Enjoy it, Aimee.

- Oh Nilsa, you better pray it's up.

- I'm already covering my face

so you won't hit the money maker.

- [Aimee] Jesus Lord that you did

not put nothin' crazy on me.

Yo, if I see a bad tattoo I'm gonna flip

this face upside down.

(suspenseful music)

- Nilsa, what's the meaning behind this tattoo?

- Anytime you feel self-conscious

or are listenin' to what them trolls say on social media,

I want you to look down at that tattoo

and be reminded that you are beautiful

on the inside and the outside.

You are the princess goddess mermaid.

(dramatic music)

- I love it.

(upbeat, peppy music)

It's me.

- It's you.

- I love you.

- What a good friend.

- I'm gonna cry.

- I'm sorry Nilsa, oooh, I'm sorry.

- If mine, Aimee, I'm not gonna be very happy

if mine's (beep) up.

- Aw, Aimee, you (beep) up.

- It's that bad?

- It's not that.

Poor Nilsa.

- Nilsa, come on in.

- I don't even wat to look.

(suspenseful music)

- Are you cryin'?

- A little.

(suspenseful music)

I hope if this is a bad tattoo,

you feel bad for the rest of your life

every single time you look

down at that princess goddess mermaid.

- I can tell you right now I'm gonna

feel bad for the rest of my life.

- Can we just take this thing off now?

- So we're gonna bring Courtney out.

- [Courtney] Hey.

- Courtney, I'm freakin' out.

- [Courtney] Listen, if you're gonna faint,

I got your back.

(suspenseful music)

Good luck.

- [Nico] Thanks, Courtney.

- I can't believe how big it is.

- I know, I didn't think it was gonna be that big.

- What a sin.

- I'm goin' to hell.

(suspenseful music)

- Oh my God.

It's me.

- Yeah, it's you.

- It's Nilly the Squid.

- It's Nilly the Squid.

Do you like it?

- Oh my God, that bitch got big lips like me.

- [Aimee] And big titties like you.

- [Nilsa] That is hilarious.

What's the lesson?

- You're always so worried about your looks.

You're goofy and you're silly just like that tattoo

and I want you to realize that.

You never think you're gonna find a husband

but you're so beautiful on the inside.

- And you did the squid because

she calls herself Nilly the Squid.

- [Nico] And Chi Chi's up?

Titties up.

Always be ready.

- Did you tattoo the same (beep) thing on each other?

I really thought these girls were gonna come hard.

- Okay, let's go get a drink.

- [Nilsa] Okay.

How Much The Big Car YouTube Channels Make - Is It Worth It? - Duration: 21:15.

welcome back everybody its mark with exotic car play place back at you today

to talk about a little different discussion on cars today and we're

really going to hone in on what do your favorite big youtubers actually earn I'm

gonna show you how to get some of that info and I'm also before we get started

into gathering that information I'm gonna give you some examples of some of

my favorite large big YouTube channels and I'm going to

give you my interpretation roughly of what they earn how they earn it and go

through that whole onslaught of statistics but before we get into that I

want to explain a little something so as a youtuber do you realize that youtubing

is one of any one of three things really it's the hobby guy it's the guy that's

doing things to earn a few bucks on the side and does it kind of for fun but

maybe collecting a few dollars and then there's the business guy the business

guy is truly recognizing an opportunity to cash in on advertisements and

advertising agencies or the replacement of that they realize that there is a

place for this type of person that has a certain level of creativity and passion

that they can convert to the viewers that will equate to dollars and cents in

their pocket so before we get started on that I need to explain something so to

be a successful youtuber the one thing you have to understand is number one you

have to be passionate about your genre if you're not passionate about your

genre you will get to a point where you hit the wall and you'll find that it

will be very difficult to continue on consistently you'll get to a point where

you'll be saying you're in you'll see I've got a thousand subscribers but

you're growing very slowly or you're not yielding a lot of money and then you

start to ask yourself why am I doing this am I wasting my time that would

suggest you're probably doing things for the wrong reason that's why I would say

start out with a genre that you really feel passionate about maybe it's video

games maybe it's sports how about music or makeup whatever it is that you feel

passionate about that passion will convert

viewers because your passion will exude energy and that will get people excited

and that excitement and consistency will drive your success and so a lot of the

youtubers that you'll find the big youtuber channels the car youtuber

channels that have found success in most cases are those that have been

consistent they've been around for a few years and they work at it virtually

daily now you don't have to post daily that's not what I'm suggesting what I'm

simply stating is that consistent offerings sometimes it's only one video

a week sometimes it's two or three videos a week sometimes it's a daily

vlog whatever that is you will find what works for you again coming back to the

overall passion and what you decide how you want to decide to proceed is really

the main thing here because again if you don't pick the right genre you're going to

likely not succeed and I'm going to show you we're gonna walk through some of the

statistics and I'm gonna explain to you how much these people earn roughly and

why and how does that come about now before we get into this I need to

explain YouTube has its own sort of sign off when you sign up on YouTube and you

monetize your videos YouTube states that you cannot advertise how much you earn

on YouTube how much they actually exactly pay you what we can do however

is I'm going to walk you through the great little website it's called social

blade and a lot of you guys are very familiar with that I'm sure but we're

gonna walk through that and I'm gonna display for you some of my favorite my

personal favorite large YouTube channels car YouTube channels and how much those

folks earn and then I'm also gonna show you roughly what I earn and how I can

kind of convert that in terms of they'll give you a range but I'll tell you

roughly what I make and I'll tell you kind of what you can expect extrapolate

out and it'll tell you basically what most of other youtubers are earning as

well based on that same type of interpolation if you like so let's pull

up social blade and see what these great folks are making so

let's take a look so first thing what I'm going to do I'm going to show you

I've already got this friend of mine his webpage on here or his social blade page

it's socialblade.com and basically this is a good friend of

mine he lives down in Florida we've been we've really essentially met through the

networking in YouTube and he is what I would consider the example of a you know

a great guy that's passionate about what he does but he's doing it for the other

end of the spectrum he posts about a video I would say a month and as a

result you know the payoff is more or less in line with the frequency of

uploads and so if you look at the statistics

he's got currently he's got a boat he's got about 60 uploads and about 4,400

subscribers and of course with that here is the full statistics of his channel

now if you look at this currently they tell you he's making an estimated

monthly earning between five dollars and eighty one dollars well it's neither

it's not going to be fives not any one that's the peak at either end now

traditionally what I have found is it's somewhere in the middle and I'll show

you my channel here in a moment and it'll give you an idea of course that

translates into $60.00 or $1,000 up to $1,000 in a year that gives him about

roughly $80 per month at the peak so of course it's less than that but that 80

would be you know about two-thirds of that would be probably about 50 bucks a

month and that falls somewhere smack-dab in the middle of that range he posts a

lot of car videos but he's a smaller channel with like I said just under five

thousand subs and with a monthly post that's what he's yielding so let's show

you mine I'm going to scroll down I'm going to type in my channel which is

exotic car play place the way it turns out it's actually ready to go I'll do a

search and there's my channel now now I would consider myself a small channel

but up and coming and the reason I say that is I have full intention on bill

developing my channel into a large-scale I've been at this now for a little bit

probably a good solid couple of years and I'm starting to pick up some

momentum now as you'll notice I've actually got 360 uploads so I've got a

lot of videos in circulation I'll be honest the first bunch of videos were a

little bit you know a little rough around the edges but you learn as you go

and I think I'm producing a pretty nice video these days now you'll notice my

subscriber counts around 11,000 my video views is about almost three million

views so you know in terms of overall channel views I'm actually doing quite

well that's that's over a course of of course you know about three years and as

you see there it started in January 15 but really that first year I only posted

a few low-level videos so I really don't even consider that I really didn't get

started until really mid 2016 where I really got serious about it and so

scrolling down we look at my statistics they rate me as a b-minus which I

consider that actually quite good given my level I've got three hundred and

sixty-five thousand views in the last 30 days and out of that I've got about

1,700 new subs in the last 30 days so 1,700 subs in the last month quite

solid for sure for a channel of this size now here's where it gets

interesting now it shows me a range this is the yearly earnings of 1400 to 22,000

dollars a year now I know traditionally I'm somewhere in the middle and this is

an easier number to look at so this is the monthly dollar range so it's between

116 and $1,900 now I know for a fact where I'm at right now on my analytics

that puts me very close to the top end of the range so that puts me at say

let's just say hypothetically this month I'm going to make around $1,600 in that

month that puts me at about two three quarters the way up that scale so if you

go 75% of the top end of that scale that gives you a pretty close approximation

as to what you're going to expect for your

your monthly salary now let's get it to some of my favorite youtubers I'm gonna

scroll and we're gonna go Doug demuro oh he is easily one of my

favorite YouTube channels he is you know what I kind of aspire to be eventually

at some point that's certainly the direction I'd like to go at some point

he really owns the review channel he is the the guy that kind of leads the way

in this he beats all on comers even the big names the motor trends and all those

guys I know they do more action content but Doug really owns the reviews and I

love his style so we're gonna go into that and he's gonna be an example of one

of the biggest youtubers around right now in the cars onra and Doug of course

he's got 335 uploads two and a half 2.2 million subscribers with about five

hundred and twenty six million views versus my 3 million so he's got

substantially amount of more views than I have but we will scroll down as to his

statistics you'll notice he's a B+ I was a b-minus and going into this now

looking at his range he's somewhere between a hundred and seven thousand and

1.7 million based on my extrapolated interpolated values of about seventy

five percent I would honestly put Doug's annual salary currently at probably

about 1.2 1.3 million dollars that would be my estimation he's making just over a

million bucks a year and of course on the monthly that puts him probably

around a hundred thousand dollars a month and so those are numbers that are

very significant I don't know if too many blue-collar or even white-collar

jobs that are paying a million dollars a month sorry I just don't guys there are

jobs out there absolutely but this here is is a way that a person like Doug is

able to express his own creativity on the screen and do it and March to his

own drum so you know Congrats and kudos to Doug great work that's the kind of

money one of the big guys is making so let's go down to

one of my other favorites and now this is another up-and-coming and where I can

appreciate this this gentleman is the fact that as you can see Strad man that

would be James and so why I appreciate where this gentleman's coming from is

he's got a lot of uploads his channel started in 12 so he's got about six plus

you know and so odd years under his belt but look at his video views he's at two

hundred and forty million views with about 1.2 million subscribers and what I

like about this guy is he was you know your classic blue collar worker kind of

guy you could maybe call a white collar he was an accountant background and so

he had this job that he sounded like kind of a dead-end job he wasn't all

that excited about it schooling sort of evolved him into that

line of work he got to the point where he was fired he was let go because of a

lack of work and he decided to get into this full-time well I would say that was

certainly was not an issue for him and definitely worked out in his favor

although that being said he made some big Gamble's along the way James put a

lot of things on Hawk to buy that Lamborghini which was the basis for his

channel coincidentally but it paid off that gamble paid off and now if you look

James from Strad man is up around I would put him at about thirty thousand

dollars a month or at about probably three hundred probably about three

hundred three hundred fifty thousand dollars a year pretty darn good salary

if you ask me good job there Strad man or James if you will you've done some

great things and again I love the content here's a guy that's a vlogger

that just kind of lives the dream you know he's traveling all over the world

enjoying the travel now see that brings me to another discussion this dollar

amount whatever that is large amounts of it is consumed he's paying for this

Lamborghini parts repair maintenance now he's putting a lot of miles on it

because he does long long distance highway trips across the country he's

doing a lot of travels he was in Dubai here recently as well as a lotta he's

traveling to Europe and doing a lot of expensive trips across the

world which consumes a large amount of this income so he's funneling a lot of

that income back into the channel which is what I want to do as well because

essentially that's the way you can give back to the viewer the viewers are

following you for a reason and therefore I believe in giving back to the viewer

because the viewer is following you for that exact point they want to see what

you have to say so why not live live your life through the camera's eyes and

share that with the viewers so let's get on to the next one another gentleman

that has been around for some time now is I'm sure anybody in the car world is

aware of vehicle virgin's everybody is aware of parker and there's been a fair

amount of discussions around him and some of the drama that he's been

involved with with for example his previous partner this this gentleman

here has done a lot of things and as you can see he's he's been around since 2012

as well very similar to Strad Man James however look at the amount of uploads

he's got 1200 uploads almost 1200 uploads under his belt he has been

working very very diligently very hard producing a large amount of videos

probably a video every other day or possibly in some cases every day

so Parker's been producing a lot of videos as a result he's sitting around

1.8 million subscribers and 446 million views overall for his channel now he's a

B rating which is interesting he is a very high rated highly respected guy in

the biz I love watching his content it's you know you may not always like every

car he's talking about but it's always engaging and honestly he he you know he

has a great way of delivering a lot of his content and honestly like I said

I've been following Parker for some time just because he's an interesting guy to

watch now if you watch here look the subscriber or the the actual count of

dollars he earns a month he's very similar to Strad man probably a

little bit more but he's actually sitting around I would put him at about

forty five thousand dollars a month or about seven hundred well that would be

about five hundred thousand dollars per year so he's making about half a million

bucks a year on vehicle virgins so good job there Parker that's exceptionally

well done and see it's this consistency that I spoke of earlier he I guarantee

you he had some ups and downs along the way but it's the perseverance that keeps

you going and it's the perseverance that gets you success now he's making half a

million a year and the way he's going he's probably going to eventually make a

million plus a year the way things are headed so anyway good job Parker now

another gentleman that is a little bit more kind of in line with where my

channel content is today is Justin Buse and here's an example of a young man

that really has a strong strong focus on quality and if you watch his content it

becomes pretty obvious why he quickly gained a hundred thousand subscribers

now he's been working since 2012 and I'm naturally he has not found the success

you know since 2012 that something like Parker has or Strad man however if you

look at the number of uploads that's almost directly proportional to the

amount of uploads that he's got you know Parker's up around that well over a

thousand uploads and Justin's you know a fifth of that so Justin here what I like

about Justin is the fact that he does a lot of great BMW content but he has a

strong focus on the quality you could tell he's very artistic and a lot of his

photography and a lot of his video clips he does a lot of great artistic work and

he caters to a brand right now that I'm currently opera you know driving daily

which is BMWs and so I've got a strong focus on that so of course I naturally

gravitate to some of his content now Justin's doing quite well hundred

thousand subscribers if you want to know what a hundred thousand subscriber

channel looks like well right now justin is earning about $34,000

a year and with 34 grand a year there that's the peak

he's realistically probably only about 25k a year is that enough to retire on I

would say probably not so that may or may not be a full-time job at a hundred

thousand subscribers like Justin has that could possibly be a full-time job

but obviously you're not going to be able to sustain large expenses you're

gonna live relatively meagerly you're not going to be able to buy all the

expensive supercars that you're finding on some of these other channels like

sell Mondrian or vehicle virgins or even daily driven exotics who coincidentally

is another one of my channels that I love to follow because he is a fellow

Canadian and by the way he's up-and-coming and he's actually growing

at a pretty fierce rate so those are the guys that are you know creating

generating large income and guys like Justin not so much I would put Justin as

a little more than a hobbyist but that's a decision decision he's likely had to

make in the past and as a matter of fact I've seen a video of his where he had to

make that decision and he talked about that decision where you know do I

continue on as a hobby or or do I create content for business perspective you

know to create and generate capital or you know what what do I want to do

that's a decision you are going to have to make and that's a decision I've made

and most these youtubers at some point cross that path so guys I really hope

you enjoyed the video I want to share with you how much some of the biggest

YouTube car channels are making today what I'm making today roughly and is it

something worth your while again I have to express the fact that if you decide

this is the thing for you it is not just a hobby thing if you want to make money

at YouTube it becomes a lifestyle if you want to give your audience the value of

what you're creating you've got to create it frequently on time every time

and it's got to be of good quality content consistent with what your brand

is all about that's really what it boils down to that's how you're going to see

some growth if you're all over the map random videos and scatterbrained that's

not gonna work for you you really have to have a genre in mind and really

narrow in on what you want to talk about be passionate about it be deliberate and

give the audience what they need to hear anyway everybody I really hope you

enjoyed the video it's mark here again with exotic car play place thought I

would share in my perspective on how much some youtubers are making including

myself and it's very important that if you decide to do this that you're

deliberate about it so anyway make sure you give me a thumbs up like share the

video for sure as well and naturally please subscribe to the channel guys if

you like some of the cars I've talked about Lamborghinis a I've got a Lambo

right here this is my Guyardo here of course as well you'll notice I have this

wonderful BMW m5 behind me here so if that's something that piques your

interest I also have an x5 diesel for those that aren't aware of my channel

please make sure you give my channel a subscription thanks again everybody I

hope to see on the next one catch you soon bye bye

What do you think of yourself? - Duration: 2:14.

Hello I'm Jessica Hylands Confidence Coach. Now how much do you like yourself?

How much do you rate yourself? Your level of self-esteem and self-worth

self-respect all of those things.... so your level of self-worth and your level of

self-confidence are going to have a massive effect on everything that happens to you

in your life. If you're feeling good about yourself in those respects then

you will go forward and do the things that you want to do. You'll go forward

and achieve what you want to achieve. If you're not feeling good about yourself

the dead opposite is the case. "I can't do that" "I won't be very good at that" " I'm

not likely to succeed...I want to do that". So it doesn't stop us doing them awful

lot and so in those examples if you're feeling good about yourself you're much more

likely to succeed. If you're not feeling good about yourself you're much more

likely not to succeed. Apart from anything else because you probably won't do as much and therefore

obviously can't succeed at it if you don't try it. And the other thing is if somebody's

being negative to you or about you, if you're feeling good about yourself, the

worst that you might feel is, you know, the unfairness of it that they're saying

something that isn't true about you or isn't justified and so you may feel bad

in that respect but it won't get much deeper than that. Whereas if you're not

feeling good about yourself and somebody is being negative about you or to you it

sort of confirms what you were thinking. You know, you're thinking I'm not much

good anyway then somebody does something to prove that then your whole world

can fall around your ears when that happens and it absolutely cuts you

really deeply. So you can see the real big difference between the starting

point of feeling good about yourself or not and the end point with whatever

happens or doesn't happen in that intervening time, the end points are

going to be very different as well. So if you would like some more confidence and

some more feeling of self-worth and self-respect and all that, then do get in

touch. Let's have a chat about it and I'll let you know how we can turn

that around for you. So thanks for listening.

Look forward to speaking to you soon. Bye for now!

[Social Security Tax Explained] How Much State Tax Will I Pay on Social Security Benefits in CT? - Duration: 2:32.

(calm music)

- [Host] We live in a state

that taxes Social Security retirement benefits.

Jointly, our Social Security benefits would be about $60,000

and $200,000 in employment income.

In the state of Connecticut, how much tax would we pay

on the $60,000 from Social Security?

- [Guest] So there are 13 states

that tax Social Security benefits.

Colorado is one.

South Dakota is one.

They're all across the country.

So this answer's going to be particular to Connecticut.

And how Connecticut does it is, they take the amount

that is taxable on your federal return.

Somebody making $200,000 a year of other income

is going to have their Social Security tax.

85% of their Social Security benefits are going to be taxed.

What Connecticut does is they allow a 75% exemption

against that amount.

So in this example,

- [Host] Sixty thousand

- [Guest] $60,000 of Social Security benefits.

So the IRS is going to tax 51 thousand of that.

That's 85% of that 60 thousand.

Connecticut, in turn, will give them a 75% exemption

of the 51 thousand.

So in the end, they're only going to be taxed on about $12,750

of Social Security benefits.

All the states work differently.

For example, Connecticut also has an exemption right now.

If you make less than $50,000, they won't tax any

of your Social Security.

Married filing joint to 60 thousand.

There's also a recent law change

that ups that to 75 thousand exemption for singles

and 100 thousand from marrieds.

One other thing is, if it's Railroad Retirement,

my daddy was a railroader,

they also get what's a equivalent of Social Security.

That is 100% exempt, always.

Connecticut never taxes Social Security or Railroad benefits

- [Host] Okay

(gentle music)

International farm worker and employer talk about how much they mean to each other - Duration: 1:58.

Ah, on a personal level, um - I mean, I'm a person - I'm a people person.

So, uh, it's, uh, it's - it's hard to be a manager of people when you actually like people

Josh come like - he don't come like a boss,

he come like a brother, with us. Right?

Because even when Josh come to Jamaica, he don't go to a hotel, he come to our house.

We don't have a vehicle, he take cab with us.

Who have vehicle, he drive around with us, we just go,

we do anything we want to go, go to the bush, we go anything.

Josh - we just respect Josh.

So, these - these guys, you know, we've been working together for 14 years

and now I've traveled down there and this year,

hopefully I go, will be year number five.

So, like, every time I go to their - I go to everyone's house, you know,

I know their neighbors, I know their brothers, I know their cousins,

I know their - you know, so - I'm invested quite heavily in their personal lives,

and, so they mean a lot to me.

Well, one of the best things for me, like,

every year I come here, I learn something more. Right?

And, it - coming here on the farm, I like to do a lot of stuff that I only dream of.

Since I come here, I learn a lot.

And, I hope that I mean a lot to them.

I mean, they often call me the feeding tree, but, because you know,

I dangle the money I suppose, anyway.

I'm like, no, you're the feeding tree, actually.

But, anyway, we argue about who - who is benefiting the most out of the relationship, often.

And, so, yeah, they mean a lot to me personally, for sure.

Because we're friends - I mean, they're - they're family.

We never stop talking about Josh.
