come up with seven simple factors that each individual can focus on responsibly

disease, which also ultimately will wind up having them not only reduce the
likelihood of them developing heart disease but also all chronic diseases
like cancer, diabetes, chronic lung disease, obesity, etcetera. This is our
medical dashboard your blood pressure, systolic, which is the top number, which
is the number that of your blood pressure when the heart contracts, and
diastolic which is the bottom number which is when your heart's in a relaxed
state. So the blood pressure is the first medical dashboard number, your
cholesterol, and we talked about their fact that there are four cholesterol
numbers total cholesterol good cholesterol HDL, bad cholesterol LDL, and
triglycerides so when we talk about cholesterol you really need to know all
four of those numbers and your blood sugar. okay. and those are your medical
dashboard numbers. So that's three of life simple seven and then your four
lifestyle numbers which of course impact your medical dashboard numbers are
nutritional status, which is basically eating the right kinds of foods,
certainly lots of fruits and vegetables, lean protein, complex carbohydrates. Your
activity level, which is exercise and involves in a sense going to the gym but
really involves movement, and the American Heart Association is designated
10,000 steps a day as well would be considered ideal movement, and that's
from the time you get up in the morning to the time you go to bed at night, and
that's 10,000 steps is about five miles of movement a day. The next is your
smoking status, obviously the ideal status is to never have smoked -- right -- not
to smoke but if you have smoked to be a former smoker and if you're an active
smoker that's obviously something we want to stop, and then weight and weight
is divided into three groups ideal weight,
overweight, or obesity, and obesity comes in mild moderate and morbid obesity.

Why We Have Neck Pain — One Simple Way to Make it Disappear - Duration: 2:08.
- Hey, it's Dr. Gregg with Align Wellness Center.
I wanted to take just this quick moment
to share with you a little bit of information
about why you may be having that neck pain.
You know, neck pain winds up being a problem
that affects many people
and we see a lot of those in our office.
Oh, I'm a chiropractor here in Northbrook.
And the reason why neck pain has become such a problem,
is because so much of our lives,
our heads wind up being in front of our shoulders.
So if we were to look at it from the sides, we go like this.
Whether it's that we're texting on the computer,
at a desk, reading a book, all of those activities
bring us forward and our head in front of our shoulders.
A little example I like to think of is
right here I've got a eight pound medicine ball.
And our head typically weighs about 13 or 14 pounds
so a bit more than that.
When we have good posture and position,
our head winds up being over our shoulders.
And it's similar to this ball being right over my wrist.
And I can hold this for a long long time.
However, when we wind up moving forward, this ball,
as you can see it's hard for me to hold.
And it's pretty heavy.
So I'm going to wind up moving it in a sec
'cause it's a little bit too heavy
for me to hold out here.
But every inch your head moves forward on your shoulders
for an extended period of time,
increases the tension that's held across your shoulders,
by tenfold.
So, every inch increases the weight of
your head on your shoulders by 10 pounds.
So if you've got an inch of forward head position
or two inches, that's a lot of weight being distributed
across your shoulders causing tension, causing muscles
to overwork and fatigue, causing the vertebrae
to wind up stretching out.
It also winds up causing the nerves to get
irritated and tender.

healthcare professionals who need to make a very simple point.
"Internet has changed the way we research." Now, if they just get up and say it like that
nobody's going to get excited and say, 'Yeah, we've learned something new.'
So I suggested- instead of saying it just like that,
they make that statement their own and make it a little bit more personal.
And as a result, what they did was they said something like this:
20 years ago when I needed to research a topic, I literally waited for a Saturday or a Sunday where
I would go and plonk myself into a national library and read book after book
to be able to extract the information which was important for my research.
Now, if I have to research a topic, I don't even have to wait to get
home and I can just type on my phone what I'm looking for and get that
information. So Internet has really changed the way we research.

hello friends! today i am sharing paratha recipe with you.
its a very common method which we usually make in our homes.
i have taken maida(all purpose flour)and wheat flour in equal quantity.
2 cup each of them
added 1tsp salt in it.
have not added any sugar or oil in mixing.
kneading this dough with just cold water.
knead this dough a little hard...
donot make it soft otherwise paratha will not be crispy.
its almot done..dough is ready..
i will give it rest for 30 minutes atleast.
cover and leave it for 30 minutes.
30 minutes are over.dough is perfectly ready for making parathas.
lets start making paratha now.
i am using desi ghee,you can use cooking oil or banaspati ghee instead.
just made a small ball with dough
i am making small sized parathas
try to make thin parathas ,they will become crispy.
first of all i have flatten out this dough ball on a surface using a rolling pin.make a thin layer.
apply ghee or cooking oil on the top with fingers .apply equaly on every side.
start rolling it from one side till the other side .
gently roll and enlarge the dough like a rope
set a corner on surface and twist around the whole rope like dough.
this method needs practice.
once you understand its technique than it will be easy for you to make it.
by following this same procedure i have made some other dough balls
i will make parathas one by one using that rolling pin.
i have taken one ball.first pressed sides of it gently with finger
now gently flatten out it by using a rolling pin.
dont press it hard in the centre otherwise it will stick on surface.
keep pressing the rolling pin on sides of paratha.it will also make it move in circular direction.
i have preheated the griddle pan.
first i will make it on high flame
as it changes its coulor i will turn the side.
now cooking the other side.
see! its getting fluffy inside.it means its cooked from inside.
now will put some ghee on it for frying
as you add ghee on it ,immediately put the flame on medium.
because paratha will get burn on high flame
on medium flame keep frying paratha ,keep pressing all sides gently with any spatula
now making another one
its almost cooked from both sides now will add a tsp of ghee on it and fry
its very easy .just keep the flame high in start for cooking it inside,and put the flmae medium when add ghee
if you like more crisp in parathas then just lower the flame and leave paratha few seconds on griddle pan.
all parathas are being prepared
will show it from inside.
very yummy
you can have it with tea,in breakfast or with b.b.q
its soft from inside and really crispy from outer side
its a normal everyday breakfast recipe of paratha in Pakistani homes
