hello we wanted to wish you a wonderful wonderful Thanksgiving and to say thank

that will hopefully make your day extra special today Paige I guess that's my

cue so you so the first tip is this it's

cliche everyone's gonna talk about what they're thankful for today grateful for

and what I would say is expand that do it every day not just today I'm

Thanksgiving number two put away the electronics actually be present with the

people around unless of course the loved ones are long distance and that's

how you're connecting with them then yes I'm all about it number three no matter

what's going on around you if it's a highly dysfunctional Thanksgiving or if

there's stress or if there's challenges that day find something positive in it

just one positive thing and I'm gonna add one more fourth tip that Silke

didn't know about but whether it's your neighbor or you are driving or you're at

the grocery store say something kind to somebody do something kind for somebody

surprise them do it for a neighbor do it for a loved one do for someone you don't

even know and let that love spread so that's what I have for this Thanksgiving

so I'll add a fifth one you go girl no but this is this is

important coming from both a hostess and and as a guest and and but especially

having hosted a lot of big dinners if you're lucky enough to be at one of

those occasions if you're with family and friends and you know we've joked

about it the dysfunctional aspect of all that try to consciously not do something

to feed into it sounds good so good and that's that's something that I know

I'm going to tell myself I'm gonna get ready to start cooking here shortly

Paige and I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving I hope you and I get to

spend one together ourselves one of these days one of these days and not buy

hey guys in this video I'm gonna give you seven tips to help you master sales

so tip number one is first things first you need to learn how to sell yourself

your sales pitch doesn't start when you first start introducing your product

your sales pitch starts as soon as the customer lays their eyes on you

customers don't just buy a product they invest in a brand and as a sales

representative you represent the brand that the customer is investing in so

they basically invest in you you present yourself as a person that is worth

investing in can you sell yourself along with the product selling yourself is

usually a nonverbal process if you look smart dressed like a person who has

closed a lot of sales in the industry and interact in a way that's relatable

to customers you will build great trust and sell yourself successfully and

conversely if you appear nervous you look shady or standoffish you won't be

able to form a connection and trust with the customer and they'll feel closed off

from you connections and Trust give customers the freedom to openly express

their concerns and problems that you can actually address with your products and

brands you need to welcome this connection tip number two is to know

your product your physical appearance can give off the impression that you are

confident and knowledgeable or that you're hesitant then will be fumbling

for responses but first impressions are just the first step prepare yourself

before each and every sale to make sure that you can back up your smart looks

now this might seem pretty obvious but you have to know the ins and outs of

your product and your company before you step into any sales meeting it's not

enough to know the top 3 features and the benefits of a product you have to

know each and every one of how they could work in your customers lives it

over 90% of the time of a sale just researching the customer and the product

sales is all about finding a solution to your customers problems it's not about

making your product their solution even if you are confident that you know what

your customer wants they might hit you with an objection or a question out of

left field the more you know about your products in your company the more people

that you can actually reach even customers in the same neighborhood age

or income bracket have different needs and different values one person might

want to invest in a business that is committed to sustainability while

another person might want to support a business that encourages diversity and

inclusion information about the origins of the company suppliers of the products

and even employment policies could be the key to adding value to your products

a successful sales person is creative and thinks on their feet the best way to

do this is to be equipped with as much useful knowledge as you can grab

tip number three is to get into your customers head when you start gaining

more experience in your field using the right information will become easier

sales is very similar to a game of chess in order to win a game of chess you have

to recognize what your opponent is going to do in the next two or three moves in

the future in order to close the sale you have to recognize what your customer

is thinking and what objections or obstacles they might bring up during

your conversation if a customer catches you off-guard and

you can't provide them with the right solutions that they're looking for

you'll lose the sale so how do you get into a customers head well it's time to

do some research your current customers are far from the first people who have

made purchases of your product or within your industry data and study provide

insights on how customers with different demographics make purchasing decisions

feedback from your past customers can actually give you great insight about

what influenced them to buy honest and open conversations can give you

real-time feedback about what your potential customers are looking for also

it's really important to be empathetic you should care about your customer as

caring greatly helps you become a better salesperson empathy is needed to be a

great salesperson tip number four is to believe what you're saying now this one

is also really important knowledge is power and it acts as a foundation of any

argument that you make or solution that you might provide the customer the more

you know about your product the easier it will be to believe that you have the

right fit for your customer's needs when you believe that this is true you can

make your customers believe it - if you don't truly believe in your product or

your company you need to either change something to make it better or decide to

leave your company people can tell when you're selling something that you don't

believe in tip number five is to be open to feedback

speaking of feedback it's important to remember that your individual abilities

and traits can help or hinder you online courses and tips are great resources but

unless you know how to apply them to your unique personality you might not

get very far take some time to get some feedback from

customers peers and co-workers if you can send surveys and feedback forms to

customers whether or not you even close the sale try to keep conversations open

if you do not have much experience with past customers pretend that you're

selling with your friends it might be a little weird and role-playing might feel

awkward but it's vital to your success every single person has unique qualities

that can be brought out and build a connection with a person across the

table you may not recognize these qualities but a third party can help you

bring these qualities out and teach you how to appropriately use them to close a

sale tip number six is to learn from the greats just like there are master chess

player there are master salespeople in fact you

may have a few moguls that you look up to or even idolize invest in their

knowledge set some time aside to read their books and learn as much as you can

about the art of sales there's always something new to learn and new sales

gurus love sharing their knowledge now think beyond the world of sales remember

the importance of confidence and making connections when you're planning out

what you want to learn in the upcoming months pick up some self-help books or

take a course that looks beyond the world of sales when you improve your

ability to speak with others and hone your intuition you'll find that closing
