News on Youtube Nov 23 2018

Hi everybody, the weather here in Hanoi is getting cold

But when I heard about this, I got here ASAP to do a hands on review of this

Limited Edition Nintendo Switch Pokemon Let's Go Eevee

There's another version called Let's Go Pikachu. But I can't seem to find it anywhere.

They're pretty identical

except for some box printing and the included version of the games

The original price is about 400 USD

But if you want to get one now, you must pay at least 500 USD for the hyped price

Only if you'll find one to buy

Because this is a limited edition so...

you had a steal if you bought this for the original price

Minus the bonus items, the Switch itself only costs like 250 USD.

Can you believe that when a used Switch usually costs more than 250 dollars

Let's do the unboxing

As you can see, the box is similar to regular Nintendo Switch

Except for the printing

The size and the box design are the same

First we have the Switch and the two joycons that have Eevee and Pikachu color

Take note that these are the limited colored joycons that you won't find on the stores

Next up, the Switch has nothing special on the front

But behind, it has some Eevee and Pikachu shades

Now I'll turn on the device

Pokemon Let's Go Eevee had been pre-installed

so you can play right on the bat

Normally, you'll have to buy an original game for 60 Dollars

Next, we have this Pokeball Plus

Maybe you won't believe this, but this plastic ball has a price of 99 Dollars

There's an analog at the center of the ball to move your character

You can press it to confirm

Here's a look at the actual gameplay

You can throw the Pokeball like this

When the Pokemon is captured, the Pokeball Plus will simulate the game footage

by vibrating and changing LED light color depend on the color of the Pokemon and what's happening in the game

As you can see, as soon as the dialog box appeared, It changed to white

Then, we have the original charger

This is not just a regular Type-C charger

Some fast charging supported Type-C charger performs not too well when connected to the Switch

So that's why...

This original charger costs 40 dollars

We have another regular HDMI cable

This is a redeem code to get Mew

This code only has one use

So please don't delete the save data you used it on

if you do that, you'll lose your Mew forever

The next great thing is the Dock to connect the Switch with your TV

It has Eevee and Pikachu printed on

To be honest, this limited edition looks stunning, everything matches perfectly with each other

Here's how you make 2 controllers out of 2 joycons

The connector have special colors as well

Because this game has 2 player coop so...

it's better for you to make 2 controllers by match the plus and minus symbol

This is the Joycon hand grip

Nothing so special

Just inject your two joycons like this to make a controller for one player

It uses two mirrors to reflect light so...

this is actually just a piece of plastic

It means there's no electricity and battery inside

That's why this is pretty cheap, you can get one for a few dollars

This is Pokemon Let's Go Eevee with two players

I'll make a review video out of it soon

so that you'll know should you get it

when it has a lot of changes compared to the previous generation in 3DS, GBA, NDS...

Basically, this is a steal for those who want to get a Nintendo Switch

In order to play one-of-a-kind games

and to achieve a memory with this specific Pokemon game

Nintendo Switch is a console that lets 4 players to play together

on games that not graphically intense but has creativity filled with ideas

To sum it up, this is everything you'll get buying Nintendo Switch Pokemon Let's Go Eevee Limited Edition

If you like my video, please consider share, like, subscribe

So I'll have more effort to make better videos in the future

Goodbye and see you again

Oh, and btw, that Razer Blade is not included

Mosaic art project in review | Educational | Mosaic tile art - Part2 - Duration: 10:39.

this is educational video which is showing the end-to-end process on mosaic

art projects for people who want to make a good living by creating custom made

mosaic art project for clients. so no fancy edits just experience. ok let's jump to

the workshop process. so means the process has begun. materials to create

the project. tools to create this work and the studio. ok this was the studio.

it's kind of too big. we for this kind of a project you don't need this kind of a

studio. I just want to show everything which is related to this particular

project. and that's why I'm showing you this. the material. you first of all, this

project was in total I believe not more than 4 square meter or something like that. so

even a room is will be enough. in size to create this kind of work.so let's jump

into the material. we have a very low quality picture in here. the photograph

showing how I made all these things. it's a different color. this is actually the

one that I had create for the the storyboard which I told you. to show him

how to look like. so something that we can catch in here, you see this nylon

this plant paper no not plant paper how we call that? this

a painter nylon thing. then you can catch here the mosaic mesh. ok. and here this is

disgusting yellow thing is the glue material which the adhesive which I've

used to stick the tiles the ceramic tiles on this mesh. I will follow up to

that later on. and

so this was the material this our ceramic tiles cut it into 15 by 15

millimeter. I resize them to get these tiles. how I cut them I will show

you in a few minutes. and there is no paper. there is a paper. I believe there

is a drawing here. yes correct there is kind of a drawing laying below the this

mosaic to follow up the lines and stuff. another thing can catch here? I don't

think so. so let's go into the tools that we have use. I use this thing all the

way here. this was I don't want to talk too much about this right now. it's not

the right moment. this was electric. it works with electric. it has one wheel

over here. it has some water is coming up into here. and you know. no there was no

water actually. no water. okay there was no water it was a dry cutter. you turn it

on it starts to turn you know like that. you can by using this thing... okay we go

on to this on another video. but the thing is I changed that to this. to have

this water because cutting ceramic is producing a lot of dust and stuff. this

is what I used to create the smaller tiles. It's 15 by 15 millimeter. I used

regular ceramic glass which was 30 by 30 centimeters big. I resize them into this

15 by 15 millimeter. you can use this kind of a dry, you know it's a ceramic

cutter by Rubi brand. you can find it on the description below at Amazon.

and you can use this actually to. to cut this kind of a tile. you can even cut one

by one millimeter tiles with this simple ceramic cutter. I have a video that link

is in the description below. will also will pop up here somewhere the video you

can go and check if you're interested in to cut this kind of a small ceramic

tiles. and this was the tool. okay I use that one on this project. but I could

also produce it by using this kind of a tool. so another important tool that I've

used is, um, excuse me for this bad image but at that time 2005 it wasn't that

good you know. the phone camera was not, that and it's

also a bit shaky I believe it's blured. so whatever. you see this wood? you call

that here this frame like you know. this was to give it to right-size. okay. I

believe what I did... so it's at the same level. this wood is at the same level. so

I believe, I mean, what I remember is I've created this kind of a frame by using

just some wood. you know some wood how you call that here you see. I glue it I

believe on another wood plate. which is below that. and just to have the right

sizes. okay. because if you want to create something like... hold on. if you want to

create something like. that so this is one tile. okay. and here you have many

mosaic tiles inside. this is the next tile. okay. and this is the next tile. so

each tile must have the same dimensions without any mistakes.

you know. what I mean. by by millimeters it's important. okay that's why I've

created a wood frame to have, to stretch the mosaic. I think what I did was, hold

on please. first I glue all that stuff okay.

and then this wood frame you can't see it in here. then I believe I put this on

a wood frame like like a tray and then I stretch the tiles a bit you know to have

the right size. this is what I believe. I'm not sure. okay another thing that I

use to create this is, you can see it right. here this is the studio actually

inside. see the boxes in here. so that's the messy glue that I've used for such a

long time. it was... look I'm not saying that this is a terrible adhesive if to use

no. it was not the right adhesive to use in this kind of a project. I will

tell you why in a minute. and you can also see the most like nipper. where is

it? so you see this is the other tool that you can use to create this kind of

a 15 by 15 or even 1x1 minim millimeter tiles you can use this here. I can't see

the mosaic nipper. anyway you know how much like nippers look like right?

I will find you hold on.

okay so this, this is another project in the same studio we'll talk about that

later on. you see still here the messy you know that stinky it smelled terrible.

everywhere the same you know it was a big mistake.

but I didn't know what kind of fur glue to use at that time. so this is the

mosaic nipper that I've used. it's not even very clear. there are different type

of Mosaic nippers. okay here it's more clearly. this is how it looks like okay.

not the one with the wheels. this is another project we will look at that in

another video. and this was the only tool that we used to create that I've used to

create this. you see another one here. I believe... I you know... you're lung how you

call. that this stuff what you need in your body to breathe. I damaged them a

lot by using this yellow. you know. just terrible. anyway you see the mash in here.

okay evidence showing how I create this

pieces. you see one piece one piece these are all separate pieces. and I'm also

checking them if the size is correct you can support artists if you think this

video was helpful for you. you can do this by buying goods design it by the

artist. thank you

D.C. Nightwing custom cosplay suit up review - Duration: 8:54.

Hey geeks welcome to my Nightwing video this is my Nightwing suit and this is me

wearing the nightwing suit yeah Nightwing is such an awesome character

he is definitely one of my favorite Robins Dick Grayson from Bludhaven yeah

he's awesome oh yeah this is my nightwings Escrima sticks i made from

vacuum tubes yeah it's probably better ways of doing it but yeah it's the way

the way I'm doing it but yeah I sprayed the blue with spray paint it's all the

way through it's just hollow land ho lol

it's like spyglass ha anyway and then I just took like a knife for just scratched it

up on the concrete make it all rough up and used and I took red paint and I

just splattered it all over make it look like blood so it looks like I've been kicking

some serious ass!

that comes together into a baton splits apart that's pretty awesome yeah

now go me showing my mask which I just cut out of a Batman mask just like a

Halloween Batman mask I cut it out and made it made Nightwing

hey how are ya doing and I then I took a knife and just cut it up and gouged it out and

put some paint on there so it looks like big gash of blood and I

got some sponges in there that's kind of why it's not flush on my face

cuz I can't have it on my nose because it hurts too much

I got nose problems but oh well it's still pretty good and the suit is

cool basically like workout outfits so it's flexible and breathable

so I can fight and pull off those crazy ass dance moves lol and the gloves are just

just work gloves and I spray painted them blue and painted red and then I

punched the dirt so it looks all dirty then same thing with the arms

he used cardboard template on the arms

then I just scratched it all up and same thing with the chest the I used cardboard

template just cut it out and then refined it with sharpie and same thing

with this arm just painted it and dirtied it up by playing around in the

dirt and punched in the dirt I just kind of dirtied up the entire costume so it

just looks all been through hell yeah the the line is a little skinny but oh well

that's did the exact same thing as the other arm cardboard template sprayed a

few layers on there

then I took the red paint and made a big old gash so it's like something

scratched me like I know probably like some kind of big-ass monster or

something and same thing on the back

templates Sharpie and all that just without the head and did that all

that blow cuts and gashes looks pretty good

probably did like three coats of paint on there I think on the front and back and the

arms like three coats of paint I think yeah even got Nightwing's wingdings which are

basically Nightwings version of batarangs

I just cut these out of wood with a band saw and then I spray painted them

blue

it was pretty cool to do it was pretty easy to then I

sanded them down

even did a different sets more aligned to his regular symbol

same process

yeah I just cut it out

as flexible and breathable yeah I tripped lol there I'm good

let's do that again all right yeah that's my leg have to lift up my

legs because I didn't have that much room but yeah you can still see them

just fine same thing just a bunch of cuts and and stuff you know

it's just tights

like workout tights or something yeah badass so hopefully you

liked this video hopefully I hope you are as of big a Nightwing fan as I am but I'm sure

you are checking out this video so like, share, subscribe, and ring the bell and check out my first

video my Mr.Fantastic video this is my second video hopefully I'm gonna

become even bringing you more still figuring a bunch of stuff out so

so forgive me yeah just give me time give me patience I'll figure it all out

I'm super passionate about all this and trying to figure it out trying to get it

all good so keep on geeking ;)

My Weekly Review | Todoist, Notion & Calendar - Duration: 16:26.

Hello everyone and welcome back to another video it is francesco here from to keep productive to the youtube channel

I'll tell you three

We're doing something a little bit different i'm gonna be sharing with you today

My weekly review how I go about doing it with the tools that I use

currently

the process and I use currently and giving you a bit of an outline found you could implement something like this now i've been using

A weekly review for maybe about three years and I've really benefited from it from a work perspective

in terms of pausing one day of the week for maybe 20 to 30 minutes to grandpa the time to

Reflect on the previous week, but also planned the next week ahead and today's video on outline how I go through that process

So guys that got me on today's video

So I have taken my desk away from this area to set up this area just cuz I want to show you guys

Step by step how I go through doing the weekly review

It's taken a few years to get to this stage in terms of what it is today

so I've had a lot of different iterations of it and I tend to

Change the way I do a weekly review maybe every six

Months because I don't want to have to keep chopping and changing what it looks like in terms of a framework

So guys what I'm gonna be doing is showing you a screen share on my laptop as we go through it

And I'm also going to be showing you what I do on paper, too

So hopefully that gives you a bit of an outline of everything

You need to know if you want as well in description below

This will be available to have a little look at in terms of a step-by-step process

So if you want to go there as well, that'll be helpful

So the first thing I want to talk about is the sort of situation

Or the scenario of the weekly review and I find it a good time to stop and pause look at the week ahead and planet

And also gives you an opportunity to look at my goals for the upcoming next month or so and help me to

Orientate all of my tasks my next 30 days of actionable tasks towards those goals

I also get to look at clients that I'm working with in terms of my day role as a

Freelancer and I get to see exactly

Whether I need to put more time into my clients or make sure that I'm on track with all of those projects

So it's not only a good way for me to look at my own goals

But a way for me to look at the client goals and where I'm currently at with all of those

So in terms of a scenario, I typically do this at home. Although I have done it in coffee shop

Maybe every two to three weeks

I normally what weirdly when I'm at home is go on the ground and do this and when I'm in ground

I mean the floor

And I'll just bring my laptop a piece of paper and I tend to put my phone away

I try to put it in another room unless it's relevant to me sort of plodding anything out now

We typically do this on a Thursday afternoon

Normally, it's about like three or four o'clock. And it's normally after like my driving lesson or something like that

And normally Thursdays are a bit of my sort of more meeting II day

So I am actually

more engaged and I am normally today is a

Thursday and it tastes video were actually going to be doing my weekly review for this week

So you'll get an idea of what it looks like

Practically so you actually get a plan and plot everything out

So this is my process and I'm always looking for ways to improve it. So if you have any

Tips or recommendations in the comments - maybe fine-tune a certain area of it

Please do recommend and also if you want to share your own

Setup or process that will be amazing - I think the comments will serve as notes as well

So guys I've broken this down to a six part process

So hopefully it can give you all you know

And then afterwards we'll talk about the sort of micro habits or techniques and I'll go about within those certain things

So the first thing I do is start with paper now

the reason I start with paper is because across my week I tend to be using a lot of digital tools and

Paper does help me just to pour out everything

It also helps me to add in things and remove them and quickly like I don't know

There's something about paper that helps me to avoid distractions, especially when I'm planning the week ahead now

Typically, I'll do it on a bit of April paper a previous use the benefit week pad, which is a great one

But I also have an a3 sketch pad which is a perfect canvas for plotting everything out

so it doesn't matter the size of your paper, although the bigger the better because if you're making mistakes or moving stuff around

The better the more space the better it is and the less cluttered it will look so today

We're gonna start with the a3 piece of paper. So let's jump over to this. I feel like I should go

Here's one I made earlier. Okay. So what I typically do here is on title it week review and

What I'll start doing is tallying out the next seven days. So the next seven days for me are Friday and

Wednesday and that's my idea of a week ahead because I've got everything until next Thursday

So this is a good way to be able to do that. So as you can see, I've got a rough outline

I've got Friday Saturday Sunday, Monday, Tuesday Wednesday

And what I'll do now is I've got the next seven days

So I'm going to start giving a line underneath all of these at the bottom

now the main thing here that I'll note is that tasks belong here and

events belong here

So anything in this region here?

Will be task orientated and anything in this region just below

Will be event orientated. So what I'll do is I'll open up Google Calendar on my computer

So because it's span across the next seven days

I need to look at two obviously in tomorrow

Saturday Sunday and go to the next week view to see anything there

So what I'm gonna do is I'm going to add any of my Google Calendar events into the likes of this piece of paper

So let's add a few of those for the upcoming week

So as you can see here I've added the bulk of the events down here

And the reason why I do events verse is because they almost dictate the energy levels for the tasks

So for example if I'm looking to plan some of my tasks for today

At least I know these events are here so that I don't clash them

But there's a lot of my work you'll see on todoist a bit later is time

Orientated so what I'll do next is on open notion

I'll specifically open the goals page inside of notion

and what I will begin to do is I'll start adding a few of the goals and

Specific tasks and I can do next week that helped me to complete those goals for the next month ahead

This is a really simple thing to do

But it does help me to orientate a lot of my tasks next week to the actual goal sign of staff

So let's take my first goal for example is reaching with the key productive blog is reach

10,000 monthly unique visitors

So what I'm going to do is I'm going to start plotting a few of the tasks that are oriented some of the goals here

Onto my tasks area of the paper. So as you could imagine I'll begin to add those goals to this area

Okay, so now that I've had a general plot out of some of my main bulk goals for the end of the month

I will then start to do some of my basic tasks and this will be based on two factors is the things that I

need to do in terms of just like general things like activities like I don't know pick up a new passport or

Buying indoor plan all of those sort of small items

And then what I'll do is I'll ant in client based items in order to do this

What I need to do is open up my clients page inside of notion and start extracting

activities per client of what I need to do for the week and then I'll plot them out in these next seven days you

So what I'll also do is I'll open my to-do-list account and I will

Look at the next seven days because across the week

I probably

Snowboard a lot of tasks into that next week and I need to get a general outline of what other projects I'm working on

To be able to plot them into the next seven days on this piece of paper

Okay, so I've got a general outline of my tasks that are upcoming and also my events

Now the good thing here is what I can start to do

It's going to cull any of the tasks inside of my to-do list account that are

unnecessary anymore this way it helps me to

Really define and get rid of some of the older tasks that I've handed in and also refined what I'm actually going to be redoing

That day, so we've started number one with some paper

We plotted out the next seven days of events first

And then what we did is we opened up goals inside of notion

now what we did is we

Extracted the goals and the task orientated out to those goals into the tasks X and sections of the paper

We then went over to the clients area of notion

Extracted any project based information and and it any additional tasks from the lights of todoist and also from my head

Now what we've got is we've got a piece of paper

Full of the tasks that I want to do next week as well as a recap of the events that I've got on

so that typically takes me ran about

Twelve to fifteen minutes something like this

It doesn't take me a huge amount of time

but I do spend about two or three minutes just

Pausing and thinking about if there's anything time orientated or project orientated that I do need to do

Inside of this that I may not have updated inside of clients in notion or goals. EndNote owned ocean two

It also gives me a little bit of time to reflect upon the week

That's just gone was I productive do I need to do anything better?

and I can also add in any habits or

routines as well that I can improve do now is where the bulk of the actual actions and

Administration goes it's inside of todoist

so what I will do is I'll open up my to-do list account and I will begin to

Subtract all of the tasks over the next seven days and put them inside of inbox with no due date

This gives me a clear runway to add all of the brand new tasks inside of todoist

And help me plan the week ahead now

You're probably wondering this sounds a bit laborious. But actually the act of taking tasks down here almost

Recycling them or recreate kingdom in a different format actually helps me to plan a weekend, really

well

The same would events actually taking them down from Google Calendar and putting them here in events action actually

Reminds me that I'll be going to them and also helps me to explain energy levels during that day

For example if I had lots of meetings on a Thursday or a Tuesday

Then I know that I'm going to do more shorter based tasks versus long

Intense focus tasks because I'll have less time to do so in between those meetings. So let's don't move on to to-do list

I'm actually just going to be working on to do this for this one so you can get an outline

How I go about plotting that out

I would also then talk about a few techniques near the end and give you a few other outlines

I'll just get my glasses for myself

One thing I earned here as well is the actual process of adding all of these tasks

The inbox really does help me rethink about the actual actionability

Actionability is that word and the actionable nature of the tasks as well as giving me an idea of whether I actually need to do

This one and it helps me to be a bit more refined about my time. So that's just something that I'll note as well there

Okay, so just another no honest

Weekend I'll occasionally do some bits of work

Whether that psyche an hour here or there Becca normally watches Mike. I'm a celebrity which is a popular UK program

So I will grab a bit a time to do work then because I really hate I miss Liberty

Okay, so there we go, right

Okay, so we've pretty much added the majority of tasks into todoist

Now what I'll do is I'll do two very small things

I will go back up to inbox and I will drag in any tasks that I've seen relevant

If not, if I don't see anything relevant

I will archive the majority of the ones I'm replicated or moved into todoist

Now there is another simple way I could have done

this is I could have kept all of the tasks in inbox and then just gone to inbox and plotted them out but in this

Case I had a lot of different type of tasks in this activity

Now the other thing that I will do as well is I'll go to the task bliss and I created a task

BLISK is all of my different

Small tasks that I want to do low priority tasks that I can maybe weave into this week ahead

Now I then finalize by going over to filter plan highlight

And what I will do is I will go down the list in this case

actually

It should go to the next seven days and just pick one most important tasks to complete during the day and this will help me

Focus in or what? I need to get done during that day

Okay, so I'll go to plan highlight and I can see the most important tasks over the next couple of days and these are the

Terms that I need to complete

And they're almost must activities

So there you have it that's my full week planned I've got everything in events that I've organized

I know what events coming up. I know what goals I'm working on

I know what is coming up in my next 30 days of actual tasks

And anything else is is small administration work now

I just want to run through the full process

And give you a few bonus things that I may not have mentioned on this video

The first thing we did is we got some paper in front of arsim a3 paper

And we plotted out next seven days

we add an air section for events a section for tasks then went to Google Calendar and

Added the events from Google Calendar for next week into this piece of paper in front of us

We then went over to notion

We opened up the goal section of motion and we plotted out the most

Important tasks or tasks that are related to the goals that I can complete next week

Then what we did is we open up clients a sign of notion as well as anything in the task list in notion

So then what we did is we open up clients inside of notion

And we also looked at any tasks that were in my head and also

inside of the next seven days in todoist

Then I can now add inside of this section things that I do on a routine basis

But also things that relate to some other projects outside of client work and then finally with everything in front of me

I then plotted that all out inside of todoist. So guys, that's my process. I'd really love to hear your weekly review

Let me know in the comments whether this video was useful because I've never done a video like this before

And it'd be great to hear whether you found it valuable and whether it's something that in the future

You'll be looking to implement any guys a big. Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you enjoyed this video

Huda Beauty Precious Stones Collection Review - Duration: 7:50.

Hello there, how are you doing? My name is SiMPLYRAFF.

And welcome to my debut video, my very first video regarding Beauty and Health

on my YouTube channel.

For my very first video I would like to review on

Huda Beauty Precious Stones collection

but unfortunately, I don't have the five of them. I only have the three of them.

Because, the palette Emerald and Sapphire was out of stock.

So, I have Amethyst obsessions,

Ruby obsessions,

And also Topaz obsessions with me, right now.

To be honest, I finger swatched the palettes out of curiosity.

You can see, some of the shades actually have been swatched.

Can you see that?

Okay, now that I'm ready, I am going to start with the eyelid.

See, this is the color. It looks kind of nice. But we never know what's gonna happen when you swatch it.

Okay, let me just swatch for guys.

I have it here.

Next to it, next to it, okay guys.

Hmm, maybe it doesn't go that well with finger.

Let's just pop this on my eyelid, okay. And let's pray that it's gonna work.

I think, I need another one transition shade.

Okay, so I'm gonna swatch the color for you guys. As you can see, my finger is clean.

I clean my finger just now to swatch another shade.

I'm swatching, swatching.

That looks pretty nice though, but it's sort of like powdery.

Hmm, okay. Let's swatch it here

Oh my god.

Let's try.

Why?

Why it doesn't

Oh my god, it's so hard to blend.

That's quite nice. Maybe my eyelid was kind of wet here

So, maybe that's why it was kind of hard to blend.

Because here, it works very nice, it blends very nice.

So, I was wondering why do you have like two separate hardship of blending the eyeshadow.

I realize I didn't use the transition color from the top of my lid here.

So it's kind of like wet here.

You know what I mean. When it's wet, you put powder on top of something wet ,it kind of like

just stuck there you. You cannot really blend them out.

You can, but it needs some kind of works.

Cutting my crease.

Let's use Amethyst, let me swatch for you guys.

That's so lovely. That's fvcking lovely.

Oh, no! That's such a pretty color.

Actually, I'm done with the eyeshadow. I know it's a little bit messy.

You can see the outer corner, but I'm just going to cover that out later with concealer.

I'm going to pop up some mascara and a pair of fake eyelashes. And I'm going to be right back.

So guys, this is the final look of the Huda Beauty Precious Stones obsessions palettes.

I've utilized the Amethyst,

Topaz,

and Ruby.

They turn out to be very good and I think I will use these three palettes again.

Thank you for watching guys.

This is my debut video if you think that I'm lacking somewhere here and there please tell me.

I'll try to improvise myself and yeah

Book Review - Putney by Sofka Zinovieff - Duration: 10:25.

CAPTIONS AND CONTENT COPYRIGHT READ REMARK AND BETH DEAN. ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. DO NOT COPY. Hi guys. I'm Beth and this is Read Remark.

And today we're going to talk about Putney by Sofka Zinovieff.

Alright so you might as well buckle in for this one

because I have some thoughts. Again, we're going to talk about Putney by Sofka

Zinovieff. Just a disclaimer to sensitive viewers, I usually try to make my videos

clean enough that high schoolers can watch it. And I don't think that this

necessarily disqualifies high schoolers, but anyone who is sensitive to sexual

assault or sexual content should be aware of that going into both this

review and the book. There is both of those things, so consider yourself warned.

Putney is one of those books that has left me greatly affected and greatly

grossed out, in equal measures. Here's a quick rundown of the

plot. There's a man who is about 30 years old. He is a famous composer who has

famous friends in the artistic world, including a man who is prominent in the

art world and has a wife and a family, several kids. He goes over to their house

one night for dinner, comes across the man's nine-year-old

daughter Daphne. 9 years old. He's instantly smitten with Daphne and

decides that she must henceforth be his muse, because he just cannot get past how

attracted he is to both her beauty, her spirit, everything about her just calls

to him and his artistic spirit. And so he enters into this age of incorporating

her into his music compositions, and also this age into having increasingly sexual

interactions with her, starting with a kiss that's kind of chaste, and then

grows from there in severity.

CAPTIONS AND CONTENT COPYRIGHT READ REMARK AND BETH DEAN. ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. DO NOT COPY.

It's kind of gross. It's kind of gross. When they first have sex she's like 12

or 13 years old. Now, they live almost a sort of bohemian lifestyle. The parents

have this open relationship. Daphne kind of roams free and it's a

very artistically based world that they live in. They seek out beauty and truth

and poetic nature in all things and so he sees his relationship with Daphne as

being beautiful and loving and artistic. And Daphne, who is just a child, sees it

the same way. Of course, they have to keep it top secret because such a

relationship would be highly unapproved of. Now, I thought of this book several

different ways. I couldn't tell if this was supposed to be sort of a Lolita 2.0,

but even later in the book, the main character says to himself, "I'm no Humbert

Humbert." It's like he has this refusal at self-awareness for the situation. I also

was trying to figure out if it was some sort of justification for this adult/

child relationship such as the one we find in All the Ugly and Wonderful

Things by Bryn Greenwood, which everybody seems to love and thought was

so beautiful, and I thought was just...blech. I thought it was gross. I don't

understand the justification for this older guy who knows darn well better to

enter into the sexual relationship with a thirteen-year-old. It just never ... I

never could justify that in my head. And so I couldn't tell if, in Putney, the

author was trying to do the same thing, was to make this a relationship of

beauty and justified where it's okay because it's art it's art it's love. It's

not child molestation ... please (eye roll). I was also kind of questioning this manic zeal that

Daphne's best friend of years, Jane, was having throughout the book. It seemed

almost like the book was kind trying to demonize her a little bit

because she was constantly pushing for Daphne to say something or go against

all of what was happening to her, to the point that while sometimes she seemed

like the voice of reason, at other times she seems like a voice of vengeance. And

so I wasn't quite sure what the author was getting at with that. However, let me

say that it all comes around and everything the author does is done

purposefully. It's all done on purpose. There's a reason for everything she puts

into the book, and I think that this is brilliant, what she does. It's a five

star read for sure.

Putney is one of those books that follows a long time period. It starts all

the way back when Daphne is nine years old and goes up into when she's in her

50s. And it's actually not until she's 50 years old that it suddenly hits her that

this sexual relationship she had with this man 20 years her senior was not a

sexual relationship at all. It was sexual assault. It was rape. She is shocked. She

goes to the authorities and doesn't really get much support except from Jane,

who is just over the moon happy that Daphne has finally come to her senses

and is doing something about this rapscallion Ralph. But Daphne's own

family, her father, says, "Don't tell! I mean, the guy is old. There's no point in doing

it now." Ralph himself is like, "But we were in

loooove! It wasn't like that!"

She gets almost no support from anyone else. It really

made me think about this recent discussion that's been happening in the

media of why women don't tell about these sexual assaults that happened to

them until decades later. Reading this fictionalized account of what happened

with Daphne really made it come home that much more to me. They don't tell

because people don't believe them. They don't tell because people don't validate

their feelings. They tell them not to say anything. They don't support them. They

don't believe them or they say that they're ruining the man's life and

legacy by by talking up, by speaking up. As if the victim has now become a

perpetrator of sorts and it's just this backwards logic that keeps women from

saying anything in the first place, and it's really unfortunate and really sad.

Now, Daphne herself was a little bit frustrating at times because she felt so

conflicted about the whole thing. When she first

realized that it was assault, or rape, she was upset, angry, hurt, and

ready to run to the authorities, shout it from the mountaintops, do whatever she

needed to do. But then as the lack of support was coming through from her

family, from people who knew her, that conviction kind of waned. It wavered. She

began to feel much more complicated feelings about it. That was

kind of frustrating to me because I, like her friend Jane, wanted her to shout it

from the mountaintops and bring Ralph to swift brutal justice. But it's

understandable. It's understandable what Daphne was feeling because things like

this are never a clean, cut and dry case.

CAPTIONS AND CONTENT COPYRIGHT READ REMARK AND BETH DEAN. ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. DO NOT COPY.

The justification that Ralph has in his mind of his love towards Daphne is that

she is his muse. He loves her most of all. She is the beauty that brings life to

his art. It really made me think about the role of muse a lot more, and indeed

I've read some articles since Putney where actual artists muses have spoken

up and talked about how the experience was not always a great one. The

definition of a muse is basically this person, usually a person, who acts as sort

of a touchstone for an artist, who inspires the artist to bring that much

more life to his or her art, and usually it is a beautiful young woman, not always,

but a lot of times it is. In the case of Putney, it was this nine-year-old girl,

Daphne. Now the problem with the muse, while it sounds beautiful and like she

is an integral part of this art that is happening, what actually happens is that

if someone is put in the role of muse, they're basically existing as nothing

more than an object to inspire the artists. They don't really have their own

complications. Their own feelings. Their own lives. In that role, they exist more

as a catalyst for the artist. It's basically, the artist is important. The

muse is just a little by-product that the artist can look to. So maybe this

sort of denial that Daphne had was spurned for decades by this thought that

she wasn't being raped, she was being a muse. Now that's not always to say that

the role of Muse is a bad or sexually devious one. It isn't. You know, if the

muse knows exactly what their role is in that relationship, then it can lead to

beautiful works of art, music, whatever sort of thing that it produces. But if

you're in this intense relationship with the artist, it's hard to exist outside of

that role as muse. It's hard to have your own identity,

which was the case in Putney. So I hope some of you guys have also read Putney,

because it's one of those books that I keep coming back to in my mind. It just

really touched something in me that it just ... it was so thought-provoking. Even

when I finished it, I had to take a beat and just ponder it for a moment. Big

kudos to the author Sofka Zinovieff. Definitely a good book. I hope you all

enjoyed this review. If you did, be sure and give me a like and subscribe, and I

will catch you all next time. Thanks for watching, as always. Bye!

(Special thanks to all of you caption readers out there. Have a great day!)

[THEORY] Jennie SOLO 👏👏 Review with English Subtitles - Duration: 5:09.

Jennie is not my favorite idol, I like the cute thing more than the sexy and Jennie seems like a

a little bit wild

over when BlackPink just debuted they ran

rumors that Jennie bullying her one of her schoolmates in New

Zealand and well I think that conditioned the image I had of her from a

beginning I think Jennie is the typical bad girl from teen movies

that which is beautiful and popular and knows that it is pretty and popular and

her want to make sure of let everyone around her know COW: like me

what is cute and popular COW: like me

as Regina George Jennie is a queen bee

like me there are many people who think what same and that YG already knows that why

took into account when producing its debut SOLO

this is the video theory and review of Jennie's solo of Blackpink

I do not know if they noticed it but the video

begins at the end is Jennie in a convertible car with wings and background

you can see the name of the single SOLO

everything that shows us later is the

story behind that Jennie this is not a love story Jennie

Her heart is broken and she feels lonely The interesting thing about this video is that the

colors somehow tell the history and reflect the feelings of

Jennie at first we see how she he wanders sad for his dressed mansion

of blue color then we see how he throws a pink bracelet on the floor in the west

blue is sadness and pink is happiness this duality is the conflict of the

history since the first stanza Jennie tells us that she is tired of

pretend and that all this is not a typical touching love story

she wants to get rid of the past of the old Jennie childish and innocent

the Jennie with the pink room the blue color represents the sadness of

Jennie in the separation it's like a little more than that it's like

she is sad but she is not conscious of his sadness as he tries

hide it for that in the scene of the pool abounds blue color inclusive

is makeup blue tearing up the book "Love History" she

is full of sadness but does not cry says he does not care about the

roses appear scattered on the floor in a chaotic way she can not get rid of the innocent Jennie

that's why she puts her pink dress on a blue washing machine she wants to forget about the

old Jennie no matter how if it were something very easy

there another color appears in his clothes the black is underwear but the

Koreans are like very reserved in that theme you already know

the black is the anger and the frustration of it

It's Jennie, scorned

however as we can see her it's still surrounded by blue and now it's over

snowflakes fall she is signed to that covers her surrounded by sadness since

still do not forget the pink color there black color happens to action and explode

fireworks the anguish of color Black took her a moment of ecstasy in

where he thinks he is happy and feels a mixture of emotions that's why he paints the

automobile and she dresses in red she believes that has control over itself by

that is painted with the lipstick however still not feeling happy is after

believe that you have control that she shows finally sad crying

under the black jacket you can see a white blouse the white is

purity peace and tranquility behind all the anger he finds

accepting that he feels sad about losing your love there is when it's free

we have a close-up of his smile and her wings come out she is happy

first time in the whole video and it goes like flying in a car without driver thing

which is very dangerous so do not do it in their homes and much less in the street

where other cars pass the best of concept of black pink is that it is not acted

the girls are what they sing and dance

in k-pop that's unusual usually the groups that remained in the

time they changed their concept and genres according to what was selling in

every moment however Blackpink is still

Blackpink and this does not seem to have intentions to change it for that Jennie

does not copy any other song and does not Looking to be cute or sexy just shows us

how is she how is she good after seeing all history of heartbreak

and practically see Jennie act all the stages of a separation

we have the jenny we all know despite everything that happened in the past

and it may happen she is an idol with fans that the

they admire the real Jennie is that girl in the last seconds behind his

image of popular girl there is a girl that went through a lot to get where

is now far from the Reggina George that me and others imagine Jennie us

shows that it is a bright SOLO

I am Lola and this is the Señora Vaca do not forget

subscribe to the red button below and activate the bell, do not forget to give it a little hand

up to the video if you liked it and share it with all your friends

See you next time

Today I burned breakfast bread

Why May The Devil Take You FALLS FLAT (2018 Netflix Review) - Duration: 2:17.

The main reason why this movie falls flat is cause it's so over the top it's impossible to take any of it seriously.

Another reason is that the writing is really

generic and there's nothing emotional, deep, or witty about it.

I do adore this conversation between Alfie and Reuben though:

And I can understand why he would say this.

A while back, I was talking to a girl and she said "I'll never date u ur a dork"

then I said "I'm not a dork, I just haven't showered" then she had to date me.

Our boy Reuben does eventually get a kiss.

From his own sister.

Who has been possessed by a demon.

Is there a way for me to delete this?

Anyway, the characters aren't great either.

Our protagonist "Alfie" is unlikeable and just kinda sad and angry the whole time:

The rest of them(besides Reuben of course) are unlikeable as well due to them having

no personalities and constantly shitting on Alfie.

There are also flashbacks involving Alfie's dead mom but they don't work cause they

don't reveal anything about the mother's personality or make me care about her in any

way.

The movie also has a lot of wasted potential.

A damaged family that is already suspicious of each other dealing with spirits that can

possess you is a cool premise and a lot can be done with that.

But nothing is done with it.

That being said, I do like some of the shots, and I'm curious as to why the effort put

into this doesn't show up in other aspects of the film.

If I had to rate this I'd give it 40 unneeded hammer murders out of 100 Pikmin.

Cam, a movie I didn't like about a cam girl, just came out and I don't want to do a full

review of it BUT I would like to present my first ever character upfling nitpick tubbing.

Otherwise known as CUNT.

This week's prestigious segment focuses on a complex man with complex motivations

named Tinkerboy.

This is his story.

I'd also like to discuss Fallout 76.

I bought it out of morbid curiosity cause everybody hated it

and it's the closest I've ever come to reliving highschool.

And by that I mean it's devoid of all meaning and everyone there is either weirdly nice

or a complete psychopath.

Like and subscribe for more romantic videos and I'll see you on the next one.

Review Maserati Ghibli GranSport - Duration: 5:32.

This Italian behind me, is the Maserati Ghibli GranSport.

I'm testdriving this car for a few days

so I'll give you a short but fun review

with lots of action shots

cause it is gorgeous no?

he has certainly got the right looks

elegance - cause that is what Maserati stands for

elegance, luxury and sportivity

we'll come to the sporty bit later

let's start with the engine

it's a 3 liter V6

there's also a diesel version with again, a V6

little less horsepower: 275 HP

this car has 350 HP

and the Ghibli S, the fastest one, has 430 HP

so, let me level with him

so we can properly see that huge nose

nice isn't it?

huge grille, angry looking headlights and the trident in the centre

the trident of Neptune, which stands for power..

the four brothers thought that was the perfect symbol to represent their brand

another fun fact: there's red and blue in the Maserati logo..

also seen in the speedometer

because red and blue are the colors of the city Bologna

where the brand was founded back in the early days

just so you know ;-)

how about them wheels?!

large size

flashy red brake calipers, black rims, with the Maserati logo in blue

matches well with the paint job

but the most bad-ass option is the full carbon package

I have to say, I'm digging it

it makes the car much more bad-ass

it's now classy, stylish, with an edge to it

the carbon elements make it look sporty to me

for 3200,- euro's you'll get your mirrors, door handles and lots of interior elements in carbon

carbon galore!

I do love it. Yes, I love it.

the most important change is the shifting pattern

of the automatic gearbox

you can now easily slap the stick to the left, to put it in manual

cause that's what we want..

before it wasn't logic at all, kind of sensative, easy to put it into R instead of a different gear

Maserati handled the complaints and improved it

that's the biggest improvement

also their infotainment system is improved..

much more friendly to use

and there are some new wheel options and paint colors available now

I have to say the interior looks well done

sporty, but elegant

but the steering wheel is strikingly big

you can't really call that sporty..

but.. there's more carbon in the steering wheel so that compensates!

just like the centre console, also carbon(look)

further more; soft leather, red stitching, alcantara roof

would have liked that better in black btw

instead of light grey

the logo's in the head rest..

such a classy car, really.

let's talk money.

The 3l V6 is available from 143.000 euro's

this exact car costs 167.000 euro's

that's not cheap.

I've checked the brochure how that's possible..

mainly because of the full carbon pack (32.000 euro's)

the Bowers & Wilkins surround system doesn't come free either

but the most expensive option, apart from the Alcantara roof..

...is the leather.

that kinda surprised me..

it costs 3800 euro's (!)

again.. it ain't cheap.

conclusion: it's the perfect daily, a good car to drive long distances with..

perfect for a young family

but with a sporty edge (...)

Okay, I'll take it back.

I just pushed it, acted like a hoonigan, put it in Sport..

used the paddle shifters..

and it was exciting!

It's always a good sign when you're starting to feel sweaty between the buttcheeks

he has got it!

so I'll have to take back the ''not that sporty'' comment

it can behave like a bad boy

Basically it's the perfect balance between a daily car, a cruiser and...

a bit of naughtiness.

Ok. Now I'm really going to end the video.

From Zero To $100 In 24 Hours Review & Bonus - Duration: 9:23.

hey guys Usman here and welcome to my From Zero to $100 in 24 hours review

I'm gonna show you guys what the product is how much it costs what are

the different upsells and on top of that I've got some really cool bonuses that

you can get if you decide to purchase it from the link in the description below

alright so let's get started first of all let me give you an overview of what

this product is this product is by John o Armstrong John Armstrong is a very

famous marketer from Jakarta Indonesia and he's been doing this method for many

many years now and he's making at least $10,000 a month using this method so

this method is all about ranking YouTube videos in YouTube and Google for

upcoming product launches so this is something called video launch jacking

and I myself have gotten some great results using his methods that I have

forward in his course let me show you some results ok as you can see I am in

the incognito mode right here and if I type in video GFX profits you can see

that my video is ranked number one in Google right here if you type in video

GFX profits with you again my video is number one video GFX profits bonus again

I'm number one video GFX let's try video GFX profits number one the OGF external

profits review I'm number one video GFX bonus and again I am number one as you

can see this method really does work and it's all by following the Joe no Joe no

armstrong's methods of launch jacking that I am able to get results like this

so now that I have shown you the results now you know that this method really

does work let me just go through the JV page okay so here we are on the JV page

of zero two hundred and twenty four hours

how Jonah was forced to go from hero to zero and back ok let's first discuss the

funnel the it's got the front end which costs $12 ninety five cents and then you

have episode one that costs $37 and then if you say no it will get you $10 off

and you can get this up so for $17 then you have absalom - which costs one $97

they do have absolute number three which costs three ninety seven dollars and

then you have dumb bread number three which is 1/9 of our trial our

sixty-seven dollars a month you have an absolute number four which costs one

ninety seven dollar so number five is cost $97 dumb so number four which which

is for Finance of our trial or thirty seven bars per month and then you have

down so number five which is forty seven dollar okay so this is the final

breakdown upgrade number 130 somewhere it's called advanced free traffic

training upgrade number two is limit less traffic for 365 days upper number

three done-for-you files to use okay no while these episodes are great they're

not required to make this method work you can just buy the front and our main

product and apply it the method and you can still get results and still start

making money you don't necessarily need these episodes to make the method work

but having said that these episodes are great to check out if you want to take

this method to the next level

alright so I've gone through the JV page and

showed you my results that I have been able to achieve using the methods of

Jono now let's take a look at the live case study where Jono tries to make $100

in less than 24 hours so I'll see you there

Jono Jana Tommy here guess what happened all your stuff I made it go away

oh my Harry Potter and it worked - that's the crazy part you know you're

always saying oh if I lost it all I could just get it easily back again well

here's your chance buddy because in the next 24 hours I challenge for you if you

can make $100 from internal marketing with no connections not even your

internet connection then my friend you get it all back good

luck

hey what's going on everyone this is John oh here and welcome to this case

study so we're right at the beginning of this case study right now I'm just going

to search for a time in est okay so it's 6:00 a.m. est right now I've given

myself 24 hours to make $100 now I've done this by not using any of my tools

and in my regular tools any of my funnels I'm not using my email list I'm

not using my YouTube account I'm not even using my affiliate account so I

mean the process I've just finished making my video it took me literally

five minutes to make okay it's uploading to this YouTube channel now now this is

not my regular YouTube channel this is my regular YouTube channel here John

Armstrong with 63 thousand subscribers this is the YouTube channel that I am

uploading to right now okay as you can see I've only got 12 subscribers now I'm

doing this so that I can make it fair I'm not using any of my tools okay I'm

starting from scratch basically like I'm a brand new affiliate okay just like

newbies okay just like a newbie so brand new account this is the jvzoo account

I'm using okay as you can see there's there's been nothing earned in the past

well 24 hours it's not even my account it belongs one of my students called

John Paul I'm using it for this case study so right it's now 6 a.m. on

November the 19th 2018 in Eastern Standard Time I'll keep you updated in

within 24 hours once I made $100 I'm hoping it's gonna happen we'll see

good morning everybody its Jonna here and it's now I've

literally just woken up it's 757 a.m. here in Jakarta and I'm just gonna

refresh this so you can see alright it's 7:50 8 p.m. in Eastern Standard Time

right I started this experiment at 8 a.m. on the 18th of November and it's

now almost 8:00 I started this experiment at 8 p.m. on the 18th of

November 2018 and it's now almost 8 p.m. on the 19th of November so it's just 2

minutes under 24 hours let's login to the jvzoo account and let's see how much

money I made ok fingers crossed I'm hoping this has been successful

I think it's across hope I made hundred dollars I can get all of my stuff back

yes ok so I've made 190 which is almost twice what I was supposed to make so

experiment successful case study successful I'm very happy with the

results and this just goes to prove that you can do this as well ok I'm using

somebody else's jvzoo account as you can see here I uploaded to my not my regular

YouTube account but only a YouTube account with 12 subscribers it worked ok

it worked for me it can definitely work for you as well so very very happy

of two-faced didn't mean to now I'm gonna take a sponge

who then I'm gonna go into the two-faced on this way setting powder I'm just

going to set my under eyes with a brush and then I'm taking a bigger brush and

go in set in my whole face and then from bronze I'm going to take the Rimmel

natural bronzer in 0 to 5 Sun glow

and then for blush I'm going to take the l'oreal life speech blush then we're

gonna set my face a little bit of mac fix+ this is the coconut scent because

the next I'm gonna go in with highlighter I'm gonna take the bomb

maybe Luminizer just because I love this one it's a highlighter I go to when I do

in any look okay so the base is done now I'm gonna go on to the eyes so I'm gonna

be doing this look by James Charles it's the like main look on his campaign which

I absolutely love so yeah I'm gonna be using the morphe X James Charles palette

of course I'm so excited to use this so this is what it looks like I'm so scared

to get this dirty it's really really nice it's nearly the same size as my

Apple Mac Book Pro it's just a little bit smaller it's so thin I love it yeah

the front is matt with the shiny James Charles and morphe Brighton

it has this sheet with all the names on it I would have preferred the names to

be on the actual palette but that's fine it has unleash your inner artist up here

and then this is the palette so it is absolutely gorgeous it's got every

single shade you need I have swatched a few because I wanted

to see how actually pigmented they are okay so to start off with I'm gonna take

in the base this is the P Louise base in the shade at zero I'm just going to pop

that on the back of my hand I think I'm gonna do one eye on camera and then when

I off camera so I'm gonna take this on a kind of flat concealer brush and I'm

just gonna carve my eyebrows Oh

then I'm gonna take the morphe m4 through three brush and I'm gonna get

the shade escape first and basically follow in what he did in his video I'll

show you on the screen I'm not gonna set my base I'm not sure if he did or not I

can't believe he has bigger eyes than me so it's gonna look a little bit

different you know so far this shade it looks stunning trying to get that wind

effect that he heard

it's reused a different M 4-3-3 brush but I don't have to I was going to get

his makeup brushes set but they were too expensive you know

so I'm gonna take the morphe m51 8 brush and take the shade single and really

diffuse that peephole and he went into the crease with this this shade is

beautiful as well

these two shades blended together so nice

then I'm taking eight morphe m-44 one brush and I'm taking B which is the

bright yellowish shade so I'm putting this right in the inner corner okay yeah

this is a hella pigmented love it Brendon that's quite far out yes it's

the next I'm going to take this shade your kid in which is the bright red

shade this one has a little bit of kick back and I'm gonna put that in here oh

wow that is right oh and I'm using these a weaver two to four brush

but I'm so nicely together I'm not doing much Brendon which is because the nose

I'm gonna take the shade five one eight which is a bright orange shade for this

I'm gonna see at the blank canvas e 10 brush just because it's a nice small

brush and I'm gonna put this right in between the red and the yellow just to

blend them two together I'm not gonna hurt too much because it has blended

nicely anyways okay so next I'm gonna brush the orange shade of the blank

canvas eat em brush because I want a precise brush and I'm going into the

shade skip which is the right neon pink and

I'm going just above the oh my god this food is going just above the purple

lines in that okay look no further this is an amazing pink you don't need too

much of it which is great okay love spot okay so I'm going to go back into the

shade escape with the same m43 three brush just to darken the outer V not be

more wanted to do this look in particular because he uses mostly all

the like bright shades in the palettes and that's what I wanted I wanted to

incorporate as many colors as possible and this look definitely does that okay

so next I'm gonna take the morphe M 506 and dip into the shade spooky which I

don't want too much off because it's a black this is a very pigmented black

okay so that black Melendez aye it's nice I'm gonna take the P Louise base

again run a really nice white base for this so I'm gonna cut the crease

okay so I know he goes on defuses at the cut crease but I think I like it like

this so I'm just going to leave it like that how I'm going to take the white

shade called flashback on a as a weaver two three four brush which is just a

nice flat brush and hot that on I'm really gonna build up this white because

he says that is a white you need to like build okay so with the morphe m151 brush

i'm gonna dip into a capella which is a metallic blue and i'm going to diffuse

this line then on the same brush i'm just gonna take the shade color and

diffuse again making sure it blends nicely into the

actor

like so and I'm gonna go in again with the same brush just wiping off the

excess I'm gonna go in with the shade hello which is a nice metallic teal

shade so then I'm going to add glitter just a department so I'm gonna take the

NYX glitter glue to apply that onto my eye lid so I'm just going to pop the

glue on with my finger on to where we place the white shade and then they

click I'm gonna go in with is the one from eBay I will link it down below I

believe they have their own website this one has like hearts and stuff in there

which I think's really pretty and just press that on

probably got glitter everywhere now love that it just adds a little bit more pop

of pink love it okay so now I'm going to apply some liner this is the super Glory

crazy sexy Kohl I'm gonna put this on my waterline he does add liquid liner on

the top but I don't think I want to do is I want to keep it like basic like

this okay so for the bottom lash line I'm gonna take the brush we took of the

shade single on the morphe M 518 brush and I'm gonna blend this with the outer

corner cuz then I'm gonna be taking the morphe and 5:07 brush and going into the

shade brother and I'm gonna take this

and then with the Sigma pencil III brush need to go into the shade socialblade

and I'm going to run this on the inner corner okay so James creates like a new

lower lash line but I don't think I'm gonna do that okay so I'm gonna put a

white eyeliner in my lower lash line I'm gonna take the color pop cream gel liner

in exit okay so I'm gonna go off and do the other eye and apply lashes mascara

lashes and eyebrows and I will be right back

okay so the eyelashes I went in with are the Eden eo6 lashes out so you love them

if they're very flowery and dramatic yeah absolutely love how this turned out

amazing I think I'm gonna do the white base now so actually first I'm gonna do

the inner corner so for the inner corner I'm gonna take the white shade to go on

their face just to lighten up bit up

I'm gonna go in with the shade ring light which is the nice highlight shade

please so that is it for the eyes now okay so I've just done what everybody's

because I completely forgot to do them I've done them quite thick today I don't

know why okay so now I'm going to take a makeup wipe and I believe it's this way

so I'm just going to wipe off the foundation on my the top of my forehead

I want to cover my lips okay so for the white you take the revolution Pro s F X

white base I haven't used this I thought this Halloween but I didn't even use it

so okay so I'm just gonna use a dense brush this is the morphe g3 brush I'm

just going to oh my god eyes called go in with this

okay so this is the final leg I really hope you enjoyed it please make sure you

Sorbo USB Rechargeable Battery Review - Duration: 5:28.

Hello everyone, it's Adam A Comedy and Tech

Today I'm doing a review of Sorbo brand rechargeable batteries

Now, I know what you're thinking:

This guy reviewed light bulbs last week and this week he's reviewing batteries, it just

gets more and more boring!

But, just like the light bulbs, these batteries are unique.

These batteries recharge via a USB port

The AA batteries can be plugged directly in to a USB port on a computer or wall adapter,

and the AAA batteries can be charged with a micro USB cable.

In fact, Sorbo includes a handy usb to 4 micro usb adapter so you can charge up to 4 AAA's

at once.

Additionally, unlike standard rechargeable batteries, which output 1.2 volts, these batteries

output 1.5 volts, the same as standard alkaline batteries.

Now you might be wondering why 1.2 volt rechargeable batteries can be used in devices that normally

take 1.5 volt alkalines.

This has to do with the way the batteries discharge.

A 1.5 volt alkaline battery's voltage decreases relatively linearly as the battery discharges.

It starts out at about 1.5 volts and this voltage decreases to 1 volt before dropping

off and becoming unusable, and most devices will operate will as little as 1 volt coming

from each battery.

So, the 1.2 volts is actually close to the average voltage of an alkaline battery over

its life.

Additionally, standard rechargeable batteries start out close to 1.2 volts and their voltage

remains relatively constant until they are close to fully discharged.

While most devices work fine on 1.2 volt rechargeable batteries, some high-drain devices may need

more than that.

For example, my two-way radios would switch to "low power" mode and the sound on my

emergency radio would sometimes drop out on standard 1.2 volt rechargeable batteries.

These Sorbo batteries output a full 1.5 volts because they are fundamentally different from

standard rechargeable batteries.

Standard rechargeable batteries have Nickel-Metal Hydride chemistry, which by nature outputs

1.2 volts.

The Sorbo batteries have Lithium-Ion chemistry, which by nature outputs 3.7 volts.

They then contain a transformer to step this voltage down to about 1.5 volts.

These batteries maintain about 1.5 volts while they are discharged until they abruptly drop

to 0 volts when a sensor inside of them realizes the lithium ion battery is close to being

fully depleted.

Because they maintain a constant voltage until they die, battery level meters will not work

properly with these Sorbo batteries.

This is because battery level meters estimate the battery's charge by measuring its voltage.

So, did these batteries actually solve my problems with standard 1.2 volt rechargeable

batteries?

Yes.

The sound on my radio no longer cuts out and my walkie talkies don't switch to low power

mode when transmitting.

I also use these in computer mice for convenience.

When one dies I just plug in into my computer to charge it back up.

So, great product?

10/10 would recommend?

NO.

While these batteries are a great idea and would theoretically work very well, they are

unreliable.

I've had these batteries for about 6 months and have experienced a 25% failure rate.

Of the 8 AAA batteries I have, two have pretty much failed.

One now has an extremely short life (much shorter than the others) and another outputs

3.3 volts when fully charged (remember these are supposed to put out 1.5 volts).

Luckily my emergency radio has overvoltage protection so I knew something was up when

it wouldn't turn on right after I charged the batteries.

Of the 4 AA batteries I have, one initially came dead on arrival.

I had to send them all back to get a replacement.

So far, the replacements are all still working okay.

Another disadvantage of these batteries is their high self-discharge rate.

They die in storage after just a few months of not being charged.

So, thumbs up to the Unique and useful charging design

and 1.5 volt output

And thumbs down to the 25% failure rate

High self-discharge rate

Overall, I would give these a 2 out of 5 star rating.

This is just another sketchy Chinese product, as can be seen on the packaging.

I guess my hopes were just too high for these.

I don't know why you'd want to buy these, but you can get a 4 pack of either AAs or

AAAs on Amazon for about 24 bucks.

I'll post a link in the description.

I'm not sure why these have 4 stars, I'm guessing that the people reviewing them haven't

used them long enough to realize their flaws.

Or maybe I just had really bad luck.

I love this concept, though, and hopefully Sorbo can improve their product or another

company can make a more reliable version of these in the future.

Thanks for watching, and please subscribe to Adam A Comedy and Tech for more great reviews!
