News on Youtube Nov 3 2018

Earlier this year I spent a night at first cabin in Haneda Airport I had a

super early flight and had to stay close to the airport so this was a great

reason to try this luxury capsule hotel. The hotel is separated into two sides:

female and male, and requires a card to access. You can choose to stay in a

business-class capsule which comes with a single bed, lockable safety box and a

TV. As you can see there's no room for your luggage so you'll have to leave it

just outside your capsule or check it in a reception. For a thousand yen extra I

chose to stay in the first-class capsule so I could have a bit more space and

keep my belongings with me

A fter getting changed I headed to the lounge area which has its own massage

chair and a place for you to eat.

There are also coin laundry facilities available

and the shower area is really clean with plenty of amenities

And now back to my room to wind down for the evening

Well time for bed. See you next time! Bye!

[MY10S2] Kulai Havona Hotel and Street Food! Where to go in Johor? - Duration: 8:59.

- We are here at our hotel after... - After a good drive, 5 to 7 klicks?

5 klicks, 10-minute drive again. It's all 10 minutes between each location.

- So we are now finally here at the not-so-good place. - F***ing not-so-good.

You know when we turned in, I thought we came into a ghost village.

- Ghost village or something, right? - Ghost town.

Like a ghost town. Basically, we're... Look! Newly refurbished with new mattress furnishing and design.

- We shall see how good it is. - Havona Hotel.

- Check out the sign. Half of it is not lit. - Ona, Ona Hotel.

The word Hotel isn't fully lit too. Hol, Ona Hol.

We're gonna go... Is our car locked? Just gonna double check, make sure it's locked.

Alright.

Anyway, there's some, I think tents over at that side. This corner.

So maybe later we'll come down.

And see if we can have some supper there.

Right now we're gonna go in.

- Passport can? - Sure. - Okay.

- Twin? - Twin, two beds. - We want twin beds.

- Can I talk in Bahasa? - No Bahasa.

- You don't understand? - English? - English? Okay. When you book...

- Oh, when I booked, it says Queen? - Yes. It's already Queen size there.

- Boleh. (Can) - Boleh?

- Buddy... - We are very good friends.

- You okay if I seat down and serve you? - Oh, no problem!

You want to lie down, also can.

- Here's the RM100. - Hold on a minute.

So the first...

My first impression coming in here, I think it's damn bad.

The aircon here is, f***!

So yeah, we shall see how the room is like later.

- I've already said my first impression of this place. - I think it's not bad.

Stop lying to yourself.

I think it's not that bad.

Thank you so much. Thank you.

- Don't leave anything behind. - Yeah. - Second floor. - Second floor, okay.

Alright, so right now we're here at the Havona Hotel.

And room number is...

Anyway, you just heard him burp again.

228 is our room number, gonna go up.

Let's go.

Anyway, there are only two levels here.

So far so bad...

The first impression when I came in, right? The aircon is f***ing bad, and I already knew what to expect.

- It's not on, not even turned on. - F***ing hell. - This elevator is bad too.

Which door do you think will open.

Left.

You see?

Whoa, the walkway is not even air-conditioned.

Bad AF.

It's only 20SGD though.

Anyway, in Malaysia, right?

First floor means ground.

No, ground means first floor, first floor means second floor.

Second floor means third floor.

Yeah... This is how things work. Anyway, 228.

Let's go.

- Well, at least you can tap to enter. - So? - It's not that bad.

Let me have a look first.

- I'll check it out first, wait a minute. - Okay, sorry sorry.

What a view, our window...

Crazy view, the view is damn good. Our window, it's damn good!

- Sacarstic AF. - Wait, you don't move first.

Check out the view!

What the f***?!

Check out the view...

This is awesome you know?

- This is a first for me. - The view...

What do you see? This is what you get.

The aircon is also some random brand.

Acson.

But it can go to 16 degrees though.

Okay, I'll check out the toilet first.

Yeah, toilet. One of the most important things would be the toilet.

It's alright.

You pay for what you get.

- What is this? - I'm trying to figure it out too.

Pull it up, push it down.

No, I can't.

- Oh, I know what this is already. - What is it?

It's a table, bro.

What if you break it?

- What's inside? A mirror? - Yeah.

Hi.

So this is a mirror.

- I can't stand the view. - The...

I really can't stand it. Better not to see it.

Alright, so we've just finished with our check-in at the Havona Hotel.

Just gonna go head towards that area, there are lots of tents. We might be able to get something to eat.

Nasi Tom Yum.

Yeah, Nasi Tom Yum.

We don't, we cannot...

- Cannot speak in Malay? - Yeah.

- We are from Singapore. - Where do you come from? - Singapore. - Singaporean? - Yeah, Singaporean.

- This one is good. Fish. - Asam... Oh! - Asam Pedas, Fish.

- One this, and one Nasi Tom Yum. - Alright!

Street food. This literally street food. Because this is a street.

Then you have all the street food here.

Check it out, you have a lot of street food over here.

And lots of things to try also.

I have Alicafe.

- Soya... - Alamak. (Oh no)

- 100 plus? - I want Soy, do you have Coke? Cola?

- You want it cold? Or... - Cold. I want cold. Yeah.

- Okay. - Yeah. - Yes!

It's extremely cheap.

It's RM3.50 for two, one is 0.50SGD.

So far I'm pretty satisfied because...

You can stay here at the hotel, then midnight, you can come here to enjoy this...

Mini tentage stuff with some news channel playing on the big screen.

I tried poking it, and it bent.

- Try this. - Oh...

- Kebab. - How much? - No...

- Oh, no need? - Try. - Oh try, thank you!

- It's Ramly. Ramly Kebab. - It is still hot?

It's a little cold.

That's the perks huh? Maybe because we're YouTubers.

What if I got food poisoning after this? Maybe they dropped it before giving it to us.

I'm kidding...

It would be great if it's hot.

Ask them to heat it up for you.

They gave it to us for free, and you're like "Hey, heat it up."

- Do we have a heater in our hotel room? - No.

There are tons of cucumbers though.

- Try this. - Thank you. - Roti John. - Thank you!

He must really think you're some kind of...

Roti John.

Kebab.

We're like the first few people that actually came here and film this place.

I'm pretty sure, there is no 4K video filming in this area.

Never!

A little too much cucumbers.

- Let's try the Roti John. Can you see it? - Yeah.

Not bad.

3 out of 5.

Malay food.

- Asam Pedas Ikan Terubuk - Asam Pedas.

Is this the fish?

Yes.

It smells good. Actually, this is really good. I like.

Very good!

I shout it out on purpose. I want him to hear.

But it's really good, really nice.

The kebab had a little too much cucumbers, but it's good.

Whoa, Nasi Tom Yum.

Thank you.

- Too many cucumbers. - Yeah too much. But it gave the kebab a crunchy taste.

- But every bite I took... - You can taste cucumbers.

Bro, you'll have to finish it. You can't leave it like that.

Your expression...

- Is this Roti John? - Yeah, Roti John. Correct.

- A little too much mayonnaise in this. - Yeah.

What kind of meat is in this?

I don't know, probably chicken.

They can't have anything else, am I right?

- Definitely not pork. - How much would you rate the Roti John?

2.5 stars.

- Now we're trying this Nasi Tom Yum. - Finally some hot food. Nasi Tom Yum.

I think this is basically Tom Yum Fried Rice.

Duh, it's called Nasi (Rice) Tom Yum. What the hell?

It has a strong seafood smell.

And guess what? This reminds me of the last time I ate this.

I had diarrhea, and I literally s*** in my pants after eating Tom Yum Fried Rice.

That was the last time, and I told myself I'll never eat Tom Yum Fried Rice again.

- But how is it? - It's similar to the one I ate that time. Tom Yum Fried Rice.

- The smell kinda triggers my body. - Then I guess you can just skip this entirely.

- What if tomorrow... - Wait, we're not sleeping on twin beds tonight. We're sleeping on a King bed.

What if tomorrow when I woke up, I'm in a puddle of s***.

Eat this fish, it's called the Asam Pedas.

- This looks like it's legit good. - You see that?

But when he opened up the box just now, the fish doesn't look so fresh though.

Not bad! The fish is actually fresh.

- Whoa, look at all the oil! - Yeah!

How much do you rate this? Out of 5.

3.25 stars.

How is Tom Yum Fried Rice? How much did you rate it?

- 2.5 stars, very basic. - Really?

Be careful though.

I wouldn't have diarrhea, because I'm not David Lim.

Does it have a strong seafood taste?

- A little? - It's alright, it's very faint, but it's there.

- Whoa, this is good! - It's good.

- You gave 3.25? - Yeah. - This is at least a 3.5.

- The sauce is good! This is good. - But it's very oily.

It's oily, but delicious.

We're the only ones left.

They must have thought we're filming TV shows or something.

Astro TV.

IS SHANGRI-LA HORIZON CLUB WORTH IT? - Shangri La Dubai Hotel Review - Duration: 4:27.

hey hey this is Katie and today I'm going to talk to you about whether the

horizon Club membership at the Shangri-La hotels is worth it?

so if we hadn't met before me and my husband are a British couple we live in

Tianjin, China and on this channel I generally tend to share videos of our

life in China, weekly vlogs, shopping hauls things like that, so let's get

stuck in. so we stayed at the Shangri-La

Dubai hotel in a December last year and I absolutely loved it I must say. So this

might be a little bit biased but I really enjoyed it I'm watching her there

we decided to upgrade ourselves The Horizon Club membership now what

that means is we have a bit more of an impressive hotel room so the room was

higher up and it had this beautiful view of Burj Khalifa and it was just a bigger

kind of suite in general it also meant that we had an option to have afternoon

tea in the afternoon completely free so you could go up and enjoy the afternoon

tea and to be honest the afternoon tea available was pretty impressive they

have lots of different types of drinks they had lots of different types of

canapes and food that you can have I really enjoyed the scones it was a

really nice thing to do in the afternoon so we would often spend the day going

out and exploring to buy then coming back and eating our way through the

afternoon tea that was pretty good there's also a Horizon pub lounge where

you can get unlimited soft drinks and teas and coffees throughout the day and

there's also a business lounge which you have access to we actually did use the

business lounge on our last day because we needed to print off our boarding

passes and it was quite a kind of like there's a different area to the business

lounge so you can book out like meeting rooms but there was just like a area

that had different computers kind of segregated around that you could go and

use and that was fine the internet was pretty quick so yeah it wasn't too bad I

don't we tend to have much experience using business lounges to compare it to

if you are a Horizon club member you also have free access to the breakfast

so breakfast at the Shangri-La hotels are generally pretty impressive but they are

expensive so I think in British pounds it worked out about 20 pounds per person

per breakfast but if you have the horizon Club membership then it is

included in the price so as part of the horizon Club Lounge you also have a

separate pool so there is a pool I think it was on the third or fourth floor of

the shower our hotel but if you are a horizon club member you can go to the

pool that was on one of the top floors and it was kind of is a fairly small

pool but it had like a bit the plunge part to it but you've had a really nice

view of the city but also outside the pool there was like little observation

deck which gave you this incredible view of the Burj Khalifa

it was simply stunning personally maybe it's just me because we love photography

but I think getting that view of the Burj Khalifa from the observation deck

then also in your own room we love a hotel room with a good for use and just

being able to get a view like that was worth the upgrade for us so yeah I want

to go it is worth the upgrade for us it depends on where you are I guess because

we saved in a show allowed to buy and the upgrade really did mean that you had

afternoon tea breakfast all those things included but you also had a stunning

view as well so it definitely was worth it to us whilst we're staying in the bye

I'm not sure if we'll do it again in other places it is kind of having to

compare if it's worth it and the price because the price does differ but I

personally would say that it's worth upgrading to the horizon Club membership

because if you want to splurge and if you're staying at a shower Allah the

chances are that you are splurging already and that it might be worth doing

it especially if you're going like as a couple or you're just going there for a

special occasion we were there for Christmas so that was our excuse anyway

I hope you liked this video if you do please make sure you give us a thumbs up

hit subscribe and until next time bye
