Dakar 18 (2018) Review | Ep. 160 - Duration: 11:14.

Hey, guys!

Welcome back to a "not so retro" review!

And, this time around, it's all about Dakar 18, a game that I was waiting since forever!

But, was I disappointed with it?

Let's take a look!

Bigmoon Entertainment is a small and young Portuguese developer with a bold mission:

to bring the Dakar experience to fans and enthusiasts that always wanted to tackle such

a challenge and extreme adventure on the comfort of their homes.

In the past, a very restricted group of video game developers had the guts to try and replicate

the feeling and emotion of such an endurance race.

We have to travel all the way back to 1988 to find a game that really captured that sense

of freedom, of choice and of strategy.

That game was Paris-Dakar, from the Spanish developer Made in Spain.

In that one we had a simplified road-book that would tell us how many kilometers we

should drive north, then how many we should drive East, and so forth.

Believe me, it was a huge challenge, and on an 8-bit home computer.

30 years have passed and, in the meanwhile, the event switched from European and African

landscapes to South America.

It was no longer safe for contestants to cross certain African countries.

Their lives were at risk.

The last 3 events would have their initial start here in Portugal, and, as a huge fan

of the event practically since birth, I simply had to follow the race as close as I could.

Sadly, the 2008 edition, and last one starting from Lisbon, was canceled due to threats of

a terrorist attack on whoever crossed the Mauritanian border.

Let me remind you that this is an event that needs to be planned almost a year in advance,

and practically half of this particular one would take place in Mauritania.

With that said, ASO, the organization responsible for the Dakar, crossed the Atlantic and landed

on Argentina the next year and it stayed on South American soil since then.

As said before, Dakar related games came and went, but those were traditional racers just

like all others, and competition is ferocious in that particular genre.

Finally, in 2018, we have the chance to try a new Dakar game, but, this time around, extremely

focused on navigation and orientation using the most important item on such a race:

the road-book.

This is what this game is about, a true Sim in what orientation and navigation is concerned.

These were based on the real road-books used on the 2018 Dakar event that took place back

in January, and the waypoints are exactly where they were supposed to be that even Alex

Haro, Nani Roma's co-driver, recognized.

Nowadays the Dakar is open to 5 distinct categories:

cars, trucks, bikes, quads and sxs,

and Bigmoon tried really hard to implement those in the game.

Bikes and quads have strange behaviors, but, at least, they don't have a navigator by

their side yelling at them!

These vehicles respond weirdly to the controls and I can't get no fun and enjoyment

out of them.

As for the 4 wheelers, trucks and the 4x4 cars are the ones that really brings a smile

to my face.

Even not having the physics' models that all fans, like me, were hoping for.

Maybe on Dakar 19.

So, putting the physics aside, what have we got left?

The vastness of the desert, the huge dunes, miles and miles of open landscape to drive

and to get lost….

and our co-driver yelling and, most importantly, telling us where to go so that we can focus

on driving and on reading this treacherous terrain filled with traps and hazards.

If you want to simply go flatout across the dunes following a pre-determined track or

path, well, you've come to the wrong place.

There's tons of options out there.

But if you're willing to try something new, something unique,

Dakar 18 is definitely for you!

Dakar 18 is all about cross-country rally racing, with long stages of up to 1 hour non-stop,

if you're an experienced driver and somehow slightly familiar with orientation and navigation.

Obviously that there are tutorials and a rookie mode to help you get familiar with this game.

For the hardcore racer and fan of the real Dakar event, Competitor and Legend modes are

the way to go.

Dakar 18 offers a play area of over 18.000 square kilometers divided across the 14 official

stages of the real Dakar Rally 2018 detailing, not only the expected course for each stage,

but also a huge area for us to explore and to get lost covering Peru, Bolivia and Argentina.

There's even a Treasure Hunt mode that will allow us to find…

well, treasures!

And, while doing it, we'll come across incredible and mystical places such as the Nazca lines,

in Peru.

Picking a category may be the most difficult choice you'll ever make in this game, so

choose wisely and start by a vehicle that you find more suitable for your own personal

driving skills.

All of them are licensed from the real manufacturers and teams and, for instance, the big trucks

are really fun to drive, but a bit slow, whilst within the car category there are the rear-wheel

drive buggys from Mini and Peugeot that can really be challenging to drive, sliding all

over the place.

Again, choose wisely or you'll probably give it all up in the first couple of miles.

Even so, the more resilient players out there, that are really looking for a true challenge,

should pick a bike or quad in where, as told, there's no navigator by your side, so you'll

have to drive, read the road book, make the necessary adjustments to the distance travelled

to match the ones on the road book, etc, etc.

By the way, and in the meanwhile, the two-wheel bikes were completely re-worked and, after

the last released patch, riding these is slightly improved.

Again, driving in general is not as enjoyable as it should be.

Even with a steering wheel and pedals!

But the real test lies on navigation and orientation.

Taking your vehicle into the unknown, having the real sense of being lost somewhere in

the desert and having to find your way back to the right path,

is a freakin' amazing challenge!

Surely that it would have been even more incredible if the driving mechanics and feeling

were there.

But we have to keep in mind that this is the very first racing game entirely developed

from scratch coming from Bigmoon Entertainment.

There's so many cool features included in Dakar 18,

like being able to help other drivers that are stuck in the mud or on the top of a dune,

use shovels to dig our way out or apply recovery boards

if there's no one around to help us.

Also, after freeing our fellow drivers, they can run you over!

So just stay out of their line of sight!

Also, the online multiplayer is really engaging and fun, but it's quite difficult to find

someone to play with.

There's also other multiplayer options, like the traditional split screen mode and

even two-screen mode, so that each can have their own screen.

This last mode is truly enjoyable and extremely fun that brings that good old spirit of couch play,

something totally forgotten nowadays.

After the day one patch, there was a ton of issues still to be corrected.

These issues are now addressed but there's others popping out as more players starts

playing the game,

like cars disappearing in thin air or trucks appearing from nowhere on top of others.

Hummm…

this is weird…

In the meanwhile, 8 patches have already rolled out for the PC version, improving and fixing

tons of issues that players are reporting on a daily basis.

And, what's also awesome about Bigmoon, is that they're actually listening to all

our feedback!

So, after being playing Dakar 18 since day 1 and experienced all bugs and tried all patches,

I can conclude that, as for car physics and handling, we're stuck with what we have

right now.

As for the experience and feeling of being part of the greatest off-road event on Earth,

it's all there, and being able to finish every single stage is already a victory!

As I said in one of my other Dakar 18 related videos,

"Dakar 18 is a game to be tried by everyone, 'cause it's different from everything else!".

We can't just floor our way through.

We'll need to drive with our head, take extreme care of our vehicle, listen to the codriver,

follow the roadbook and drive our way around obstacles.

As simple as that!

Dakar 18 isn't for everybody.

Don't expect to find a racing game similar to Forza Horizon, DiRT, Baja, WRC or V-Rally.

It's a totally new breed of rally raid racing with a different concept that we can't simply

compare to other racers out there.

Even so, I invite you to try it out for yourselves, 'cause Dakar 18 will certainly produce completely

different and contrasting feelings to everyone that has the guts to tackle such a challenge.

So, guys!

This was my complete and honest review of Dakar 18, after being playing around with

it for a full month.

As a huge fan of the real event, I was really looking forward for this game and we must

applaud Bigmoon for the effort and, again, guts to bring a game based on the Dakar.

I'm positive that Dakar 19 will be a lot better and prepare yourselves for huge dose

of dunes, 'cause the real Dakar 2019 will take place exclusively in Peru!

If you're a racing fanatic, fell free to browse the channel, 'cause there's a ton

of videos related to that genre since the early days of gaming.

While you're at it, don't forget to like, to comment, to subscribe and to smash that

bell icon so that you're notified when my next video becomes available.

Thank you very much for watching, and…

I'll see you all in my next episode!

Yesterday I read up on this film

to see what this Kosmo foto was

I found that this film is a product from a man named Stephen Dowling

according to what I read Stephen has stated that this is..

no new film stock

it is actually an older film stock

to my knowledge he did not state which..

But before the name Kosmo it was called Zorki

Same name as Stephens film photography blog

if you dig around the internet there is a lot who says this is a new emulsion

but this is not the truth, it is an older emulsion used for an older film stock

and if you were to peel some of the branding off of the canister

there should appear another brand underneath

intriguing

lets try to peel some of it off

and I really like that you called the canister "dåsen"

it's the "dåse"

do we have anymore beer?

I think so...

have you heard from Michael lately?

nnnaah.. no.. not really

Benq ZOWIE RL2755T Review | Your best way to play PES 2019 and Fifa 19 - Duration: 7:32.

We are aware of the fact that we live in a time when gaming PC's is becoming more and more expensive,

so the only options for an incredible gaming are consoles.

As the central esport events are mostly connected to the PC, consoles are under that shadow.

Most of us who owned at least one console, know that they also give us more enjoyment on large screens.

If I told you that Zowie owns a monitor licensed for PS4, would you believe me?

But to be more assertive, on the PS4 has added an eSport attribute.

I present to you the Benq ZOWIE RL2755T.

The first licensed series of monitors for the PS4, among which it stands out the most that I have on the test,

It's distinguished by the diagonal of 27" in full HD resolution.

Of course besides that we have additional options like Black Equalizer, Low Blue Light and Flicker-Free

technology, which puts it in a special category for fast and action games.

The selection of the display has fallen on the TN panel, for which many will have objections,

but in the case of the Zowie monitor I only have good words.

This is actually the only panel that will provide you in all possible situations

a total of 60 Hertz, which is really important for esport gaming.

It is worth mentioning, that's a default color mode and complete image quality

isn't entirely accurate, but all this is solved by correction through the menu.

Moreover, the quality will be excellent if you played with complete adjustments,

among which you can find FPS, RTS and many other popular gaming genres on consoles.

As the IPS Panel has a much more precise color scheme than TN,

it's clear that they go for speed of the response of the panel itself.

For the purpose of addressing this defect, Benq has incorporated Color Vibrance technology here.

In short, I believe that many times in the Battle Royal titles you get hit from a huge distance,

without even seeing an opponent.

Exactly this technology is what your opponent has, so that even the smallest scenes can be noticed.

Implemented technologies will especially make sense in sports titles like Fifa and PES,

where you will easily follow the quick movement of the ball,

so on the field you can look like a national team of Serbia...

... I meant to say, as a FC Barcelona at their best years during Guardiola.

For every praise is the possession of Black Equlizer, even though the monitor is primarily intended for sports titles,

where this technology doesn't have any use.

On the other hand, this option will give you a very good gameplay in FPS titles like Call of Duty I Battlefield...

The connectivity that this monitor has, it places it in monitors for all uses.

Zowie has included DVI-D and VGA ports besides 2 HDMI 1.4 ports,

so it's very easy that your PS4 monitor RL2755T become your favorite PC monitor.

In addition, the monitor also has a 3,5 mm audio jack,

which will help to fans of separate audio systems, to transfer the sound to a more serious sound system.

When it comes to sound, the monitor also has speakers that don't bring anything special,

but it will definitely serve for some PES and FIFA matches.

The biggest focus is on design and performance itself.

It's clear that the TN panel isn't the best one that can be found,

which also confirms the maximum illumination of 327 nits,

which in practice will bring a contrast of 503:1.

We will agree that this is very low, but it is also expected for this type of panel.

What isn't seen in this price class are gaming performance of this monitor.

The TN panel will give you 60 Hertz all the time in native 1080p resolution.

The gameplay was so smooth, without any flickering and artifact which confirms the response time of only 1ms.

The mods that excite are FPS mode with black equalizer turned on,

where you will have advantage over your opponents,

because all the dark regions with this option will become visible.

What confirms the fact of the all round monitor is also movie mode,

which gives us the most colorful colors you can see on the panel itself.

Zero Flicker and Low Blue Light technology has also been implemented,

because of which you will be stuck in the chair for hours,

so that your eyes don't expiate.

You're probably wondering why the design has stayed for the end,

because it's brutal!

One interesting addition from behind is headphone holder,

which in this case served as a gamepad holder.

Next to him we can find another holder in the package,

which can be attached to the stand.

It's interesting the monitor's distance from the table,

where you have enough space for the console itself,

while in my case the stand was used for disposal of controllers.

About ergonomy, the monitor can be tilted 20 degrees from the normal position,

with the possibility of adjusting the height itself, which makes it ergonomically perfect.

But that's not all, if you need a rotation,

from panorama you can easily get into the portrait mode.

One of the important features are the edges, on which attention was paid in particular,

how they would't reflect unwanted light.

All in all, we will agree that the design is in front of its price class.

Although it's a little weird that besides big TVs, the monitor is used for console gaming,

from now on, we have to consider and Zowie RL series.

Also, what is hard to believe in is the price of 280$, which is phenomenal,

if we take all the physical features that this monitor possesses.

It's important to note that Zowie also has a XL series of monitors,

for pc gaming, so go to the Zowie website for more information.

If you need a licensed PS4 monitor, you have my recommendation.

Review of the new WATER RUNNING technique "Fluid Running" - Duration: 8:42.

- Morning, Trainiacs.

We are headed to a place that I spend

it seems like a good 83% of my waking hours, Pan Am Pool,

to do what is surprisingly a very intense workout.

How'd you like that backwards walk?

I'm not just a pretty face.

Now, that workout involves

this tiny little gutter lane here,

a super cool aquacising belt

and some waterproof headphones.

It's water running.

By popular demand, I'm gonna tell you guys

how I was so very impressed with H2OGo and Fluid Running.

It's intense.

(energetic electronic music)

Woo, straight up, that was an honest workout.

That was 52 minutes, all water running.

It was intense.

There was some really good Taren grimace faces out there,

like you know the face that I make

in the slow-mo videos like.

(grunting)

Also, probably be a pretty good thumbnail like (grunting).

Because there's a kids' swim meet going on

on the side of you,

we're gonna have to talk about water running at home.

Deal?

Deal.

Lotta kids are looking at me funny right now, lots, lots.

(door creaking)

So Trainiacs, before you start saying hey,

you know, this water running,

it does not seem like a very good workout.

Well, this Fluid Running workout,

it was named one of the 20 best workouts in America by,

I think it was Men's Health Magazine,

and Alberto Salazar, who is probably one of the best known

running coaches in the world,

says that he gets his elite, his professional runners

to run about 25 to 33% of their total running time

in the water.

Still with me?

Wanna hear more?

Let's go.

Now, the reason why the workouts are so good is

because Jennifer has a very unique, to her,

at least it was like new to me,

running technique for water running.

All of the water running that I did last winter

while I was dealing with the achilles injury,

it really didn't tax me,

and I was like oh yeah, I dunno.

I guess if you're like 70 years old,

this would be a good workout,

but Jennifer reached out to me

after having watched those videos from last year,

and she said hey,

you know, I think we could probably give you a bit of a hand

with your running technique.

Lemme send you out some stuff.

In her technique, she guides you through it

in all of these audio files

that are in her Fluid Running app,

and it's not just like water running where you're painting

the bottom of the pool,

but it's also like cross country skiing,

and then she's pushing you on to go sprinting

at like alright now, we're doing 90%,

now 95, now max effort, now we're doing big cross country.

And all of it paired together,

I did that 52 minute workout today,

and at one point, I checked my heart rate

and I think it was 170.

170 in the pool!

That's really hard to do because with all the water pushing

on the side of your body,

it's hard for your heart to pump as fast

as when you're running on land.

and you're not bearing any weight,

and getting up to a heart rate of 170,

that's pretty intense.

It's a good workout.

So let's say you get all this at your pool

or you get it from Fluid Running,

and by the way, none of this is sponsored.

She sent this out to me,

but I was legitimately impressed with the workout,

so that's why I'm sharing it.

What do you do?

Well, number one, you have to make sure

that you put the belt like way low on your waist

so it's not in the way of your arms.

You tether yourself so that you don't float away,

and you pair whatever Bluetooth headphones you've got

to her app, which has nine different workouts in it

and, I think, 10 different how-to videos

that reinforce proper technique,

and the workouts last somewhere in between,

I wanna say it's like, the ones that I've done,

45 to 60 minutes, and Jennifer herself

is guiding you through all of the workouts,

pushing you harder than you probably would push yourself,

so you're gonna get a good workout.

Because she's breaking up the workout

into 15 second, three minute, 45 second,

minute and a half intervals,

the workout actually goes by really quick.

Last year, when I was doing the water running,

half an hour felt like hours.

Today, that 52 minutes, it felt like a 52 minute run.

Now, there are a few downsides to this.

Bring it in for some of these.

Number one, the workouts are fairly pricey.

They are $20 each.

I don't know why they are priced at $20,

but just kind of like knowing a little bit

about doing things online, that does seem pricey.

Second thing you're going to give up is muscle durability.

Your body needs some of that weight bearing

to increase your muscle durability

towards the end of a long race,

especially when you start getting

into half Ironman and Ironman.

That's why this shouldn't be the only running that you do.

It should supplement the running that you do,

just taking a little bit of the load off

of your weekly mileage.

You're also not going to build the efficiency

and all the movement patterns

that you will build by running very frequently

throughout the week.

If you run a lot, even just small amounts,

your body will start getting used to the feeling

of running, and because you're doing the motion

over and over and over,

what's known is that you end up building

a more efficient method of running.

Because you aren't necessarily running

with the exact same stride as when you're running,

you're gonna be giving up a little bit

of that efficiency building.

And then the last thing is something

that the Stryd running power meter measures

that I don't think this is gonna build up

is in that Stryd running power measurement

is a measurement called leg spring stiffness,

and this is very similar to muscle durability,

strength endurance running,

how long can you run without your form breaking down,

and you need to have very strong legs

that can perform a repetitive movement

under load over and over and over,

and if you're not building that load,

I'm not sure if you're going to be able

to build that leg spring stiffness

to carry your good technique through to the end of a race.

That's why I say it's a supplement to your running,

not your main running.

However, I do have a theory that because the water

is 800 times more dense than air,

you're putting more load on your body

and it's almost like heavy gear work on the bike,

which then does create more durability in a bike stride.

So I actually wasn't able to find any science

on whether that's the case or not,

but I think the theory, my theory,

and I'm a Canadian, so our science is like

Mr. Dressup and Fred Penner,

but I'm not sure which side of the science

water running falls on for that.

Water running, who's it for?

Well, it is for people like me

who want desperately to put a big focus

on improving their running

but every time they increase their running mileage,

they get injured, people like me.

You end up taking a little bit of load off your body

doing a movement that's fairly similar,

you build up your peripheral fitness with the arms

and get some nice snappy arms,

which help drive the hips,

which then helps drive your feet.

You do end up building a little bit of muscle strength

in similar movement patterns to the run

but not exactly, and you take a huge amount of load

off your body and decrease your likelihood of injury,

allowing you to run a little bit more

with less pounding on your body,

hopefully, we will find out, improving your run.

Or if you're already injured,

in which case, you can't run at all, this allows you to run.

So there you go, Trainiacs.

If you aren't already subscribed,

hit that subscribe button below,

and if you subscribed,

thank you for not being one of the dozens of people

who yelled at me while I was in the pool.

I was in the stinkin' gutter lane.

Nobody's in the gutter lane.

Holy smokes.

Later.

I would have expected some HCG to have shown up on one of the tests I thought

there was a painting on the very first one and Cheyenne thought she saw

something off camera but looking at it on the screen you don't see anything but

it's not like stark stark white um okay if you can see that like there's a very

faint line in there there we go so that it's in Reverse alright so that is what

I'm seeing that very faint line this way on this one so but this one I think the

test is the sensitivity is 25 and this other one is Wendy's I would have

expected to see something there and that one looks pretty white to me you know

and then you know of course clear blue you don't have to squint or gas and just

straight up to

not very everybody's home here in the radiologist

office and waiting for my HSG Cheyenne is filming me thanks for coming we just

found that she's not going to be able to go in with me that apparently radiation

I'm not a good idea to have visitors so this is the before I took I've taken six

seven all they recommended to take tylenol before the process started I was

originally meant to have this done at 1:30 or 12:30 and there's a mix-up with

the intern so I take in for time and then now I'm back and it's later in the

afternoon it's 4:30 I know we could see the darkness and so it's dark outside

and so I took two more so I've had a total of six howl and so yeah they

recommend you take tylenol before and that you bring a panty liner apparently

there's going to be leakage afterwards

one minute you're meeting the doctor trying to figure out how to pronounce

his name in the next minute you're who is cracked open like a walnut on

Christmas

but snowing you guys it's like I'm gonna snow

and I'm here an ob/gyn office and put my underwear match but they're over there

and my back so I'm just waiting for the

scared the receptionist was asking me how my fertility treatments are going

because she was with you and I she's the one who called me actually and told me

the HCG dropped

she's like a receptionist slash nurse or whatever

what my name is hopefully more than YouTube family so I'm supposed to be

going to to get my blood work done today and I was already running late and then

as luck would have it I'm stuck inside my building the door will open you see

how the devil do busy now I'm supposed to be keeping my adrenaline down for

this blood test and I'm sure it's gonna be shot up call the maintenance man he

talked to me for 20 minutes about the $400,000 both he and his wife have in

the bag here's the neighbor Darrell you see him he's trying to get me out now

imagine if it was a fire you December 10 but we're gonna stay home we're gonna

get this plow worked up because up and waiting on the stand for how long and

it's gonna come back Oh

okay and the clinic stopped taking one at 8:30 now do you think they can listen

to my story about me being trapped in my girl

but Jesus fix it we're gonna stay calm happens for a reason

I'm gonna I'm walking to the subway right now and yeah I'm gonna do a little

meditation when I get on the subway yeah it's gonna be alright

right everything's gonna be all right okay I'll talk to you guys a little bit

the subway I see the Express train across the track so I can hop on that

one and then I just shoot down to 59th Street

how would you guys with me to keep me company I don't forget I tried to

meditate

it's 9:22 I have made it to 57th Street which is where RMA is and testing ends

at 8:30 I am right I ain't gonna be ready I just want to make sure that the

hang do this FSH today because remember they pushed me back to tomorrow that

puts me a type of day 3 which is what we were trying to avoid so fingers crossed

it was I'm sorry it was 50 all right so sit this cycle out and then next month

on cycle day 2

okay so how is my iPod working okay awesome

what was the FSH this time seven point seven nine oh wow

okay all right understood the doctor's office endured a

little retail therapy no happy Valentine's Day to me continues hi Oh

it's testing fertility fan first thanks for clicking on simply Tanika

I am Tanika and I've kind of my baby don't shirt um yeah thanks for checking

in on me today so today is Sunday February 18th and the time is 53 thanks

Minnie and we're gonna do the test I woke up earlier and I did first morning

urine in a cup so I have that here yeah I don't I don't have a lot else to say

let's just wait

trying to do two tests I think I don't necessarily always lead with that I'm

going to be a single mother by choice because I think the the interesting part

of my story that I want to share is that I'm 46 and there's not a lot of that on

YouTube so but I am a single mother by choice or attempting abusing a lot of

our choice and you know for very personal decisions for so it's not

something that I go into lightly it's obviously very expensive

it's very emotional it's very time consuming I'm spending about $2,000 per

cycle to do this so it's not something that you just go into lightly and you

guys have been with me this last bit of the two-week wait and there's a lot of

angst in it there's a lot of angst and a lot of stuff going on but ultimately

this is what my heart wants and so I talked about this in my 1% video will I

regret it more if I don't tire if I do try it I think if I don't try I'll

regret it so that's why I'm moving forward but yeah there's there's a lot

of stuff going on there's this but for me I think you don't necessarily have to

have two parents to be a happy kid like I was raised by my mother and ultimately

or eventually my stepfather but you know people are like Oh every kid deserves to

have two loving parents yeah they deserve to have that like that

should be their god-given right but it doesn't always happen that way and I'm

here to tell you I'm one of those kids like my father straight-out told me when

I was fifteen he didn't love me you know so it was we would hope that we would

have loving parents but we don't it's not a guarantee just because you have a

mother and a father and you know who your father is if he's going to be there

and be available or your mother for that matter you know I don't discriminate

women walk away from their children as well so I think that has informed my own

relationships and for that reason I have trust issues so I've never like been a

person who was like I'm absolutely going to get married and

always fascinated when I meet those people so I do ask them like how long

did you know you wanted to be married and what made you do it and so in a lot

of times people who have you they're known since they were children or very

early in adulthood like early twenties that they wanted to be married I have

never wanted that so there's a timer let's see what we got

all right positive energy maybe Josh I don't know

what here we go let's see so I can score it properly I don't know don't worry all

right we're here we're on the elevator science it has a four point one seven

four point seven really review rating so we are

what's the room number of vitality 305 really because the signs pointing that

way yeah it says right here 305 arrow that way 304 here we go 305 it

smells good too all right we're here

here is the

hi guys so I'm in the treatment room and I'm undressed from the waist down but I

got to keep my socks on so yeah we're gonna start charlie baby down all right

as promised today is the big announcement for the giveaway baby dust

and TTD stuff

can you guys see me I'm in here playing with the toys

so Kady that's what I'm gonna call them dumb donor showed me how to do this with

my Apple watch to make the phone play so it's on there can you see that I got the

white ones and then I got this little lens from Amazon that is like a wide

angle and you could see my water um yeah it was like 12 bucks I said okay fun

you're on camera I got the wiring Lily and I had a good dinner we did we had

appetizers and dinner and then I think I'm gonna take this off there let's see

I can't really angle that though we're just playing with toys now it's on a

little tripod yeah we were meant to just have dinner and so we had appetizers and

dinner had the lobster roll and she had tartare she had two types of tartare one

was tuna and one was salmon and then we split the chicken kale Caesar which I

posted on Instagram because you know we're not we're foodies and then we had

a nice red wine from California and we finished off with some cocktails with

like not a lemon drop because I don't like sweet drinks it was um vodka and

lemon zest and something else it was really good nice and tart so I've made

it back to work meeting it all went really really well

like the sperm count was off the chain it was like over a hundred million and

it only needed to be over ten million the only thing that was a little wonky

was the morphology was 1% and they like it to be for person

but because the count is so high one percent of a hundred million it still

beats four percent of ten million so and motility was fine but the extremely

exciting news that I'm kind of dumbfounded is she agreed to do IVF with

my own eggs so I'm like over the moon starstruck baffled dumbfounded and

excited yes I would start a new cycle next week she said that would be too

soon for IVF because I'd have to get trained on how to give myself the shots

and all that but I could do I you I and then go into IVF IVF would be two cycles

so one would be egg retrieval under anesthesia and then they would do it see

and send them off for PGS testing and then once those come back oh it has to

be great a B or C whose boobs are these

you

I just love Deidre pieces so I put her in there um she is a frequent commenter

and just an all-around good person who lives out in Hawaii and loves to cook

and is for me has been very open and willing to share information which I

appreciate I feel like that's kind of the basis of

all of this is like positivity positivity and sharing information and

for me Deidre is really embody that so thank you teacher it's a little card

it's got baby dust in it so you guys can see what it is and then the little box

with the onesie is there the cupcake socks are there these are the Opie Ches

and the HP T's home pregnancy test and then here's a little year one thing that

is not good for sperm staying alive is saliva yes saliva so you don't want him

spitting or licking you don't want to be licking before you are baby dancing and

that's the dancing to make the baby the other sex have at it lick suck do you

think but for the baby dancing you don't want to do that so cuz the sperm will

die and so I know some of you were like well how much saliva will girl mind your

business if you don't have that much saliva why

are you having oral sex don't worry about it

but if it's sloppy if but there's a lot of slob if you pop it on the knob don't

do it why your baby dancing okay hey Pam I just left the post office so four of

the seven boxes got mail so the first one I'll do the cheapy first a little

fresher stick I guess they keep foot doesn't there to keep them fresh okay so

it's darker

well it's darker than it has been right but it's not as dark as that

Jocelin but it is something a darker than her husband oh I got this Myrlie

phrase I couldn't even see that before because I don't have my glasses on I

thought I had the and it's a solid Oh God okay we didn't even get the flashing

some - so it's happening um good news is I'm not panicked because I got some baby

batter that's more than get a lot of it all right I gotta get to the clinic guys

I will talk to you in a little bit

you

so what do we got

how are you today is Sunday July 1st woohoo

I am coming to you with a special update today because Friday on June 29th I hit

a thousand subscribers I am coming to you with this special what's up

months old on June 20 it did work on my vision board so I wanted to go over that

with you guys and close up the blog with that

so I started some sort of progression so change your future is where I started

and we're gonna go to start to finish is where I end faith is the predominant

thing on this board because I feel like I need a lot of faith to make this

happen God then also bonus baby because I

realize I have one child already made I'm badly secondary infertility so bonus

baby bold and beautiful this is about my parenting journey I am on bring people

together how do you help I want to get 10 million so as you know I recently got

to its thousand subscribers the next step in YouTube world is 10 oh it's not

even 10 million its ten thousand but maybe that's some sort of subliminal

against a million I want 10 lose weight improve equality

alright BAM I made it outside gonna walk I forgot to mention today's weigh-in day

so I am NOT waiting myself yet I'm gonna exercise and then shower and get on the

scale cuz you know you don't want that extra sweat weighing you down

ha ha tipping the scale against you so yeah once I'll get back our weigh-in and

I'll have you guys along for that talk to you in a bit

I have a meeting with the doctor it's scheduled for August 20th to discuss my

next steps at that point we will be discussing if it's right for me to move

forward with IVF when it's right for me to move forward IVF I had met with her

in June and we kind of went over the protocol of it you know logistically

like what it would be what it would entail that we would have XE which is

when they take one individual sperm and fertilize the egg or they implant it

into the egg an attempt to fertilize it it's not a guarantee of fertilization so

we kind of talked about that and then left it at that I was in the middle of a

cycle so we weren't sure if that one was gonna be successful or not and obviously

it wasn't that's why I'm here now talking about my rode idea and so the

next meeting is August 20th so I'm out in Central Park I am in beast mode today

like I have so much energy from I think working out this morning maybe the food

I was like I have to go for another walk I have to go I'm doing a light walk cuz

I was at work and it's cool out here I start on my sweater I think if I get

warm I didn't take that off I don't want to go back all sweaty

but yeah I'm like and I figured I'd have to weigh-in tomorrow tomorrow is today

is day five right because we started actually on Sunday so today is day five

so tomorrow's the weigh-in maybe that's driving it too I'll

probably work out again when I get home I have to be in work tomorrow early so I

won't be doing it then but yeah beast mode

that's how I gave it up y'all I've made it through my exercise and comment on my

30 day video and so yeah I'm out the door and it is nice and bright and sunny

gap I know you can see this I'm gonna Cape its fall got my cape on every

JBL Charge 4 Review - Duration: 4:20.

Hey everyone.

I'm Max Dalton, and in this video I'm going to review the JBL Charge 4 Bluetooth speaker.

In tradition with other JBL Charge speakers, the JBL Charge 4 sits between the JBL Flip

4 and the JBL Xtreme in terms of size, weighing just over two pounds.

It's not small enough that you can easily put it in a purse or backpack and carry it

around, but it's not so big that you can't move it if you really want to.

Buttons on the device are easily accessible, sitting along the top of the device in a row,

with the Power and Bluetooth buttons easily visible.

It's worth noting that on some JBL devices the Play button can be configured to access

your Siri or Google voice assistant.

You can't do this on the Charge 4, where the Play/Pause button is just that -- a play/pause

button.

The JBL Charge 4 offers slightly better power output than previous incarnations of the JBL

Charge, with a rated power of 30 Watts RMS.

Additionally, the device uses USB Type C for charging, can achieve a full charge in 4 hours,

and offers 20 hours of playtime on a full charge.

The charge time and playback are similar to what was offered on the JBL Charge 3, so there

isn't much of a benefit there, but those numbers are roughly twice as good as the JBL Flip

4 -- if you're thinking about getting that device.

Again, similar to the JBL Charge 3, the JBL Charge 4 is rated IPX7 waterproof, which means

it can withstand one meter of water for up to 30 minutes.

The JBL Charge 4 does feature JBL Connect PLus, so it can be wirelessley connected to

more than 100 other JBL speakers that also have JBL Connect Plus.

It's worth noting that you can't connect a JBL Bluetooth speaker with JBL Connect to

a JBL speaker with JBL Connect Plus.

Just an FYI if you have some older JBL speakers.

One of the biggest differences between the JBL Charge 4 and other devices is that it

includes a USB port on the back of the device that you can use to charge other devices.

If you connect an MP3 player, you can play audio from that device through your Charge

4 while it's connected and charging.

Next to the USB port there's also a 3.5 millimeter audio cable input for hard-wiring an audio

source to the JBL Bluetooth speaker.

Now, let's discuss the audio quality.

The audio quality on the JBL Charge 4 does sound a bit muddy and washed out compared

with other speakers.

Let's do a quick sound test between the JBL Charge 4 and the JBL Flip 4.

Here's a 10 second audio sample on the Charge 4.

And here's the same 10 second sound clip on the Flip 4.

You'll want to listen to the JBL Charge 4 in a store to make sure the audio quality

is something you're comfortable with as it relates to any other Bluetooth speakers you're

considering.

In closing, the JBL Charge 4 is a great speaker at an alright price if you're looking for

something with a degree of portability that has a fair amount of power.

The battery life is impressive, and the ability to charge and play other devices through the

USB port is nice.

If you're looking for something that's going to primarily live in a shared family room

space, the Charge 4 is a good fit.

If you're looking for the type of speaker that can sit on your desk or in an office,

something along the JBL Flip 4 is probably a better fit.

Thanks for listening to my review of the JBL Charge 4.

IUNIK CLEANSING OIL REVIEW l UNDERRATED SKINCARE BRAND - Duration: 2:42.

hey guys it's me again kate for today's video I'll be introducing the IUNIK

this is a new brand I found on Instagram they describe themselves a new minimalistic

Korean skincare that fights all your skincare problems with it's amazing

formulation filled with natural ingredients in a reasonable price

the first product I'm gonna try is their Calendula complete cleansing oil because

cleansing is the first step in our skincare routine so I believe when a cleanser is good

then the rest of their products must also worth to try.. this contains 94% pure

plant oils such as calendula that can comes the sensitive skin

sunflower oil provides moist and protection against dry skin

canola oil gives a feeling of lightness and refreshing feeling

jojoba oil which helps pore control

Queensland nut oil strengthen skin barrier and

flower oil helps sebum control

so far I've been liking it this is what I'm using a lot lately

what I usually do is I start with dry hands then I pump twice of this cleanser

and gently massage on to my dry face I'm gonna split this test into two

first we're gonna try to remove the face makeup you only need two pumps and

as i was rubbing it off very gently it's starting to melt however I would suggest

you to double cleanse every time you use any cleansing oil or balm just so there

will be no oil residue left in your face then second test would be

eye products and as you can see it takes off the makeup effortlessly except for the

waterproof eyeliner but don't get disappointed yet cuz you just need to

add a little bit of water and start working it on

and now my eyeliner is all gone like magic!

every time I wash my face it leaves my skin moisturize and clean and fresh so I must say that it does what it

claims of removing makeup and leaving your skin soft

my only complain is the scent from one of its ingredients I'm not a fun of it but it's not too

disturbing at all

I just preferred something like so hopefully they will

improve that small issue

I wanted to test their other products so if you guys have

tried anything from this brand

then let me know your favorite or would want me to try next

thank you guys for watching and I'll see you guys next time

bye

Doctor Who 11x04 Review: Arachnids in the UK - Duration: 2:24.

*music* Hello!

So today I'm here to film a review of season 11, episode 4 of Doctor Who, Arachnids in

the UK.

As I did before, I'm going to start with the things I didn't like about the episode and

end with the things I did like.

So, the only thing I didn't like about the episode was that there were a few slow moments

for me.

Unlike with "Rosa," where there was no real moment when I wasn't completely invested in

the story.

But with "Arachnids in the UK", there were a few moments that I found a bit slow.

However, I still thoroughly enjoyed the episode.

Now for the things I did like about the episode.

So I really love the characters.

I've loved them from the beginning and I think they're being written very well and very beautifully

and I love them.

*laughs* In this episode, I really liked how we got to know Yaz a bit more and we got to

meet her family.

I thought that was really nice.

And I loved how, at the end, the companions really chose to go with The Doctor.

They were very active in choosing to go and I, I liked that.

I thought that was great.

I also liked the plot in this episode.

I thought it was really good even though there were a few slow moments, as I said before.

I did still enjoy it.

And I thought the spiders were suitably creepy.

But I'm scared of bugs.

Like all bugs *laughs* not just spiders so I would've been scared of them anyway.

So, thank you for watching this video and I will see you in my next one.

Stay magical!

Bye!

[CS198.1x Week 1] Bitcoin Review - Duration: 6:57.

Let's go over what we talked about in lecture.

First, we talked about the concept of identity on the Bitcoin network.

In Bitcoin, each node's identity is represented by their public key.

However, ultimately the public keys are controlled by the owner of private keys.

Only the private key can be used to spend money.

Another thing to note about identity is that users can generate as many private/public

key pairs as they want.

How does it work again?

Remember that there are 2 to the 160 total possible private keys.

It is extremely unlikely that someone might happen to generate the same private key as

yours.

Nor is it at all likely that someone can guess your private key to spend money on your behalf.

Bitcoin doesn't have the account balance model that banks have.

Instead, users spend outputs from previous transactions.

These specific outputs are called "Unspent Transaction Outputs" or UTXO.

The total value of bitcoins you have is the sum of all of UTXOs you own.

These UTXOs are uniquely identifiable and make tracking payments at the protocol level

much more straightforward: The UTXO record system makes it easy for nodes to see how

funds change hands between users and UTXOs.

The UTXO model might not be the most intuitive model for us to understand, but it works well

for bitcoin from an architectural standpoint.

As we mentioned earlier, the blockchain is the key data structure for recording Bitcoin

activity.

New transactions are recorded within new blocks added to the existing, established chain.

Once a transaction is recorded, it is close to impossible to undo without changing every

single version of this database in the universe.

The way that the network reaches consensus is through Proof-of-Work.

How does it work again?

Proof-of-Work requires that voters expense a considerable amount of computational power

in order to validate transactions.

But why do we need Proof-of-Work?

Because, again, there is no central authority to make sure that one person only vote once,

and there is no limitation on how many identities one person can generate, Bitcoin uses computational

power as a resource constraint to limit the voting power of malicious entities.

Proof-of-Work hence aims to make votes expensive for everyone, so that the voting power one

has is based on how much computational power one has, instead of based on the number of

identities.

Given all this information, you can now justify many of the common buzzwords associated with

Bitcoin which you may have heard.

The most common descriptors of Bitcoin are "pseudonymous," "decentralized", "iImmutable",

and "trustless".

Pseudonymity is a combination of the words "pseudo," meaning fake, and "anonymous,"

meaning unknown.

Bitcoin attempts to be anonymous through having every user represent themselves with a random

number, the public key.

However, because it is not impossible to trace back these virtual identities to real world

identities, bitcoinit is not complete anonymousity --- it is only mimicking anonymity.

In Bitcoin, addresses and pseudonyms are synonyms -- it's a fake name, but it can still be

used to trace back to youassociated with you with enough effort.

In addition, decentralization refers to taking an activity that is typically performed by

one central entity and repeating the storage of information and computation among more

than one party.

Bitcoin achieves decentralization by having every single participant in the Bitcoin network

store the full history of transactions, as we've seen.

This way, every user possesses a copy of the transaction history and does not have to ask

anyone else for that information.

Immutability, referring to the inability to change information, is another property of

Bitcoin achieved through decentralization.

Once all users in the Bitcoin network decide on the validity of some transaction, it is

extremely difficult for anyone, including themselves, to undo their decision.

This feature helps foster trust among nodes on the network.

If one wanted to alter the history of transactions, they would have to change every single user's

local history simultaneously, which in the present day is close to ten thousand different

users.

As a result of these three properties of pseudonymity, decentralization, and immutability, we achieve

in Bitcoin a trustless network.

Because every user is by default a stranger to everyone else, one may ask, "How do we

trust others in the network?

If we do not trust a majority of Bitcoin users, how do we trust Bitcoin?"

The Bitcoin protocol ensures that one does not need to trust their peers in order to

be certain that any transaction they make will be accurately recorded by the rest of

the Bitcoin network.

First, the ledger is publicly verifiable.

Anyone can see any and all information about the history of transactions in Bitcoin.

You can go to the blockchain and check if your transaction has gone through.

In addition, the Bitcoin network is secured through the Proof-of-Work consensus protocol

designed by Satoshi Nakamoto which changed the way everyone thinks about cryptocurrencies.

These are the four essential unique properties of Bitcoin: pseudonymous, decentralized, immutable,

and trustless.

Panic At The Disco - The Greatest Show - Review and Reaction(The Greatest Showman Reimagined) - Duration: 5:56.

Welcome back to another Sunday song review today. I'm going to be looking at The Greatest Show by Panic At The Disco

This is on a soundtrack called The Greatest Showman

Reimagined and it's coming from the greatest showman soundtrack. I'm going to be reviewing and reacting to this song. I'm doing it because

Some of you in the comments suggested I look at the song

So, please let me know what other songs you'd like me to review and react

I do a review and reaction every Sunday. If you're new here, please feel free to punch the subscribe button

I am also a singer-songwriter myself

So, please feel free to check out some of my own music that I have on my youtube page

But let's get right into it. This song is called the greatest show by Panic At The Disco

I'm going to stop it like a couple times in this review, that's what I like to do in my reviews

I like to stop the song talk about it. I don't like talking over the music because I find it distracting

So far great production. I think the production is super high quality and I really like the song so far

I was never really a huge fan of Panic at the Disco

But that was really just out of ignorance and not being in the alternative

Genre, which I think they are in. It's an incredibly driven song. The two things

You can really focus on are the vocals and the beat and in here when I play it

A lot of new sounds I don't really know what they are. It seems very

Electronic. There are a lot of synth

Production sounds which I mentioned like the production is high-quality

And these are producers that are making their own sounds with

MIDI instruments and synths and it sounds

Somewhat electronic in a way but it's really not electronic music but they are using electronic instruments. That's why I say electronic

There's that beat that is on like double-timing

in eights? It's really making the song seem like you're in a rush somewhere or like you have to get somewhere.

Tense song I think I am like kind of like wondering

You know where I should go or where I have to be and that makes sense

It's kind of like saying you need to be here

You need to see the greatest show and it's like a real burst into the first track of the musical

That background choir is really cool. Everything is really really super tight

Which is really cool and it's such a good production. But now I'm thinking is it over produced in a way?

Maybe because just you wouldn't really be able to

replicate all of these sounds on a live stage without a

massive band or like a computer so it could be potentially over produced because everything is just like

So tight and so perfect

There's not much room for any like organic human

Feel to the song which is okay. Not my cup of tea

I like the song, the next song is called a million dreams, which I think I'll look at maybe later today or later next week

But the first song was really good

For me just a little over

produced and

sounds too perfect in a way and I think that's like my

Singer-songwriter background coming in wanting something a little more human a little more organic. Let me know what you think in the comments

Please feel free to disagree with me

But that's my review. That's my opinion. Please punch that subscribe button if you're new here and if you want to

take a look at what I'm talking about what I think

Organic human touch take a look at some my own music or look up any singer/songwriter and you'll know what I mean

When you listen to that style of music, so thanks for watching. I will see you in the next video.
