News on Youtube Nov 5 2018

Well, it's been a year since we started building our tiny shipping container house.

So it's about time to update you guys on the cost of building a shipping container house.

So, let's get started.

I'm Duca.

And I'm Roberta.

And together we are building our own tiny shipping container house.

So, don't forget to subscribe.

And to join us every Monday for a new episode.

Well, for those of you who don't know

this is part 2 of a small series inside of our big series.

What I mean by that is that

it's the second video about "how much did it cost to build our shipping container house?"

I mean how much is costing because we didn't it finish yet. We still have a lot of work to do.

So basically, this is an update of the old cost video.

So, what did we talk about on the other video?

So, on the part one we talked about: how much cost to build the footings (US$ 444).

(*all the prices in US Dollars)

How much we paid for the shipping container (US$ 2738), some modifications (US$ 492).

How much did it cost you cut the shipping container (US$ 790) to install the windows (US$ 2215)

to weld the window frames.

Paintings (US$ 295) and the wooden deck (US$ 1610) and roof and gutter (US$ 820).

Miscellaneous (US$ 523).

So basically that's all we talked about on the first part, and that's the total amount.

US$ 9,927 -> Brasil R$ 32.263 Total until episode 22.

We're gonna leave the video on the description bellow.

So if you're curious to know more in depth informations about all these prices...

Like how many screws we used on a deck, What kind of...

How many pieces of wood and what kind of painting

and how much each kind of painting costs and all these...

How many bottles of gas for welding how many kilos of...

And everything.

All the details are gonna be on this episode.

But there is one exception that... when we posted this video we haven't finished yet the wooden deck.

So we have an extra US$ 313 on the wooden deck (Soffit and Fascia Board).

So that's the update price on this stage of the building. US$ 10,240 -> R$ 33.280Brasil).

So what did you since then?

So since then we have been working a lot.

So basically the first video we did on maybe 4 months of building. (*actually 5,5)

And now we've been building for one year.

So in this past 6, 7 months or something (*6,5). We have done so much.

So, we did the internal framing, the insulation, the ceiling, the plywood walls, the electrical design, the green wall.

A canopy for the entry door. We did some more painting, a lot more cutting and welding.

Miscellanies again.

We built some working benches. We are sitting on it.

And we bought some new tools.

So, that's what we're gonna... yeah, a lot of new tools, yep.

So that's what we're gonna talk about today: all this new stuff.

So let's get started.

Internal framing (Wall framing).

Framing basically we decided to use a metal frame instead of wooden frame.

The reasons are... we have a lot of reasons.

We're gonna leave on the description also the episode about framing.

You can check it out if your curious why we used that.

So basically we used 15tracks + 58studs (US$ 219.46).

Around 400 screws (US$ 8,92).

And 12 planks of the wood Cambara (3/4" x 3" x 10ft) US$ 62,43.

Oh! That's the frame. Yeah. I was trying to remember what was it.

The wooden frame that we have.

Yeah, we have metal frame for the walls.

But we have a wooden frame around the windows for architecture purpose.

Just because we think it's really good.

We like the... it's just a good design. It feels good to have like a wooden hardwood framing.

So, that's...

The total for the framing was US$ 290.81.

That's the total for framing.

So that's wall framing and window frames.

That's the total.

The insulation.

Insulation we decided to use a kind of insulation that's called 3TC here.

It's just the company that sells it in Brazil.

But it's basically aluminium foil with a eps core.

With aluminium tape to join to make sure you seal all the joints.

So we used 1011 sq ft of aluminum foil (US$ 361.90).

We still have some leftover that we are gonna use to cover the windows to protect against the sun.

And also to insulate the doors of the shipping container that we didn't do yet.

Because it's gonna be a storage place and we don't want the storage place to get hot.

And we used aluminum... 820 feet of aluminum tape. That's a lot of tape. (US$ 5.88).

But that's a really cheap tape also. So it's fine.

6 cans of spray foam (US$ 43.38) to insulate around the windows and doors.

Yes, because this kind of insulation needs to be really sealed

and it's hard to seal with tape around the windows.

It's just the... the metal won't glue the tape. So used spray foam and it's really good.

Like... it seals really really well. And it was not that expensive also.

And we used some contact glue to...

Yeah, we didn't use much so we're not gonna put the price of the contact glue here.

Because we use a lot more contact glue on the ceiling panels.

So we're gonna leave this glue for there and just pretend this was leftover from the panels.

So the total for the insulation was this (US$ 411.16).

And talking about the ceiling.

Yes. Ceiling is something that could be cheaper. It could, for sure.

But we wanted to do the ceiling as it is. It just looks great.

We're just in love with the ceiling.

We love the exposed beams.

Yeah, it's just a...

We could do like drywall on the ceiling, that would be a lot a lot cheaper.

But I think we don't regret because it just looks really good and it was a little bit expensive.

So let's go to what we used on the ceiling.

6 sheets of plywood (5.25ft x 7,2ft x 1/2") US$ 148.70.

32 pressure treated pine (10ft x 1 1/2" x 2 3/4") US$ 129.73.

Yeah, the pressure treated pine is to make sure the plywood wouldn't warp.

We built a box on the top of the plywood.

So just to make sure it won't warp much, because I mean it always warp, you know?

10 white laminated (10,1ft x 4,1ft) US$ 338.73.

That's what's expensive.

The laminated because we wanted to have a laminated finish and laminated comes in a really not wide panel.

So we needed to buy a lot more than we actually used. So that's why it's so expensive. But...

We have a lot of leftovers.

And we're gonna use that for the furniture. So it's fine.

Does... You know... it seems expensive now, but we're gonna use it in the future then it's gonna be for free.

So it's...

12 beams (10ft x 2" x 4") US$ 108.11.

The beams are just exposed beams, it's 2x4.

We're gonna... we did already.

We just used it to support the ceiling panels and it looks great.

Around 300 screws (US$ 10).

31 pounds of contact glue (US$ 115.97).

That was a lot of glue.

We glued for a long time.

And that's the glue we also used for the insulation. So it's the same thing.

12 ounces of spray contact glue (US$ 7.41).

That was just a test that we didn't really liked. We have just tried to use contact glue spray and...

We didn't know much to use of it.

It was like... I think we used too much because it's just hard to control it but we decide to use the old method.

The stain the we used on the beams we are gonna put with the painting.

Yeah, welding and painting we are gonna put all them together, even though there are different, you know... jobs.

We're gonna just add them together. It's easier.

Ceiling US$ 858.65.

So the plywood walls.

Plywood walls, that was a long long job. That was the last thing we have done and the plywood walls...

was a lot of work because we didn't know at first if we're gonna do plywood walls or

drywall and drywall and plywood, here in Brazil at least, they have different width.

So basically comes in different sizes panel and we decided to use plywood instead of drywall.

So the studs were not exactly right place where they were supposed to be.

So we had a lot of leftovers.

Yeah, we needed to cut the plywoods into a lot of pieces but we used all these small pieces to

do the walls where are gonna be cabinets. So we used all the plywood. We didn't throw anything away.

So it's good, but we had a lot of work.

So we used 13 sheets of plywood (1/2" x 8,2ft x 5,25ft) US$ 465,82.

Around 700 screws (US$ 8.11). And some scrap MDF (US$ 6.76) that we used to build some templates.

Yeah, but it wasn't that expensive. The total amount is US$ 480.69.

For the entire wall of the shipping container. I think it's a pretty good price.

Electrical we didn't do a 100% of the electrical yet. I mean we didn't... we almost didn't do anything.

All we have done...

We've just prepared it.

Yeah, we did like all the preparation for the future electrical wiring.

We have only the conduits inside of the walls.

We have some electrical boxes.

We have 328ft of 3/4" conduit (US$ 21.62).

But we have a lot of leftovers.

Out of this we used probably 60%.

40% is left. And the reason for that is because we're gonna have shafts

and inside of the shafts we also are gonna have conduits.

So it comes in a huge roll.

It's cheaper if you buy like that, so we just have leftovers for the shafts that we're gonna use in the future.

So 10 conduits connectors (US$ 2.05).

And 9 small boxes, electrical boxes (0.8" x 1.6") US$ 7.05.

1 big electrical... 1 big electrical box (6.8" x 7.3" x 3.1") US$ 6.26.

1 lamp.

External lamp (entry door) US$ 32.70.

The lamp is just really cool.

Yeah, the entry door lamp we also bought some wiring for the lamp (20ft of 1/16" wiring - US$ 1.17).

We didn't wiring yet, but we needed to turn on the lamp.

How we're gonna you know... put the lamp in place and not see how it looks?

It looks great, we love it.

So, we just used 20ft of wiring.

So the total amount for electrical until now is this US$ 70.85.

It's gonna be a lot more than that for sure. But it's just the beginning.

So, the green wall.

The green wall basically is just reinforcement rebars

welded together to form a place where the climbing trees can climb in the future.

So we used 6 bars of reinforcement (20ft x 1/4") US$ 25.10.

That's the thickness of the rebar.

Green wall US$ 25.10.

And the paint we used we're gonna talk in the painting. The welding we're gonna talk in the welding.

Canopy.

Canopy is a long story.

A lot of people say that our canopy is over engineered.

I don't agree with that necessarily.

But the reason why we did that canopy is because we really wanted to try this method that is ply-glass.

That's how it's called. It's plywood with fiberglass.

So it's how some people build boats.

And we spent 3 weeks (*actually 4) building the canopy.

That was a good experience.

In the last episode about the canopy we have all the cost detailed.

So here's the link for the canopy.

Yeah, it's easier to see there because it's just too much to add here.

And the total cost is this.

It's US$195.35.

I don't know people say it's expensive but I don't think so. Because if we bought like I a ready canopy like a...

cheap canopy would cost like 200 and something.

And we have a canopy that's it's gonna last longer than the shipping container.

And we liked the result.

It's been a few months and it's just exactly the same way it was.

I'm looking there because it's right there.

But looks exactly the same as it was when we built it and it's gonna last for a long time.

Painting.

Painting is curious because we've been buying so many different kinds of painting for the last year

and we always have some leftovers.

That means that right now a lot of stuff that we painted

was using painting that we already add on the first video.

So we are not spending much on painting lately.

We're gonna say... we're gonna tell you about the paintings we've bought since then.

Yes. Since then we bought one gallon of thinner (US$ 11.85).

1/2 gallon of synthetic enamel (US$ 15.68).

5 gallons of undercoating (US$ 59.46). That's a lot because the can of undercoating is just 5 gallons.

It's huge.

But we're gonna use it for so many things like, we painted the whole ceiling, internal ceiling with it.

We painted the whole south external wall.

And we're gonna paint all the rest of the container.

It's a really thick rubbery paint that sticks so well to the metal

and then you can paint with synthetic enamel on the top.

So we really like it and this amount is probably gonna be enough for a whole shipping container.

So it's pretty good.

One gallon of stain (US$ 40.22).

That was for the beams, for the ceiling beams.

20 ounces of black matte vinyl (US$ 9.66).

That was for the brackets of the brise outside.

And the total cost for painting.

That's the total cost US$ 136.87.

Yes. So that means like of course in the past 6 months we used a lot more painting than this.

What we mean is that we used the old paints that we already had so the cost is here.

It's on the before video, on the last video.

Cutting and welding.

Cutting and welding we did a lot more on the first half of the house.

Because it was when we cut the windows and install the...

You know... we cut the shipping container, installed the window.... openings and whatever.

Right now all we have done with cutting and welding are...

The beam, we have a structural beam to hold the ceiling panels on the center of the house.

The brackets to hold the framing.

Oh, yeah, the brackets to hold the internal frame. There are a lot of small brackets.

All the metals we used are also leftovers.

So the metal beam we had leftovers from the windows,

so we didn't add the price because it's already back there price.

The connection.

The brackets for the brise. Yeah, we're gonna have wooden stripes.

Stripes?

Strips. Yes, strips of wood outside of the house to make sure the sun won't touch the shipping container itself.

And also the green wall.

We didn't build the brise yet, it's just the brackets. We're gonna build in the future and the green wall.

It's just a little bit of weld, it's not much.

So we used 11 pounds of MIG weld wiring (US$ 35.13).

2 bottles of MIG welding gas (75%Ar 25%CO2) US$ 59.46.

9 flap discs (US$ 15.47), 11 cutting discs (US$ 11.02).

And the total amount is US$ 121.08.

Flat disc and cutting disc we didn't finish all of that yet.

And the 5 kilos, 11 pounds of MIG welding we still have some left.

But we need to add the price.

But whenever we need to weld something we still have some material.

Miscellaneous.

Miscellaneous, it's just we always spend a lot. It's just like you know...

Brushes, rollers, gloves and glasses and everything that we used and just we run out of it or breaks.

So we have... Yeah, that's is 500 dollars (US$ 446.97). It's a lot.

But this is the way it is.

Working benches.

We're sitting on it.

Yeah, we built 4 working benches.

One for the circular saw, one for the miter saw and 2 other ones just to work on the ceiling.

So we can you know have something to step on.

And we have new shelves.

It's really hard sometimes to work in the shipping container that we have not much space when it's a mess.

So we built 3 shelves so we can store some of our tools and it makes a lot easier to work.

And we spent on that 90.66 dollars, but it's cheap.

The reason why it's so cheap is because we used a lot of materials leftover from other jobs.

For example the wood for the ceiling panels we used to build the bench,

one of them at least.

The rest we used leftover of plywood and you know all leftovers.

And for the part 2 we spent US$ 3,128.19.

So that's the total amount for the last 6 months and the months before we already spent US$ 9,000 (US$ 9,927 + extra deck US$ 313).

It's easier to talk about the grand total. So the great total of everything we built.

US$ 13,368.19.

That's the total amount for buying the shipping container,

transporting the shipping container to the land,

to make all the modifications, install windows doors,

build the framing, the walls, the ceiling panels, the canopy...

Everything.

Everything we have talked about.

Yeah, the whole thing.

I don't think it's that expensive.

I think is expensive, but I mean like...

Not including labor because labors...

Yeah, we're slaves.

Of course it could be cheaper. It could be a lot cheaper. But are they... it's all based on decisions we made

the material we are wanted to use, the wooden deck on the top that we didn't need to have.

We mean like... a house doesn't need a wooden deck on the top and we spent a lot of the wooden

because we have such a nice view that we wanted to have a wooden deck.

So it's basically...

It could be cheaper it could be more expensive.

I think it's all right.

And the tools.

Tools. We have a lot of tools.

It's just...

We have all kinds of tools you can imagine and it before the building we didn't have anything.

So it's hard to build having tools, without tools it's impossible. So we need to buy tools.

We spent until now, since the beginning of the building

US$ 5,493.85 on tools.

That means circle saw, miter saw...

Everything.

Welding machine... everything you can imagine.

So total amount with the tools...

US$ 18,862.04

So that's how much we spent on everything: tools and...

Not including labor as I said before because we are working just us.

Sometimes friends come around.

Yeah, we didn't spend not even one dollar in labor until now.

We didn't hire anyone to do anything.

I mean, the only thing we hire was a truck to... how you call like a... a crane to put the footings on place.

And the land.

And the land. The land is...

A lot of people on the first episode asked about how much did cost the land that we are building on,

because it's such a nice piece of land.

Doesn't make sense to talk about the land.

Because people that watch our video there are all over the world.

It's just like people are in the States, in Europe, in Russia, in Australia, in New Zealand, in Brazil...

in Jamaica.

Anywhere you can imagine.

Even inside our city the cost of the land changes.

Yeah, real state can change so much. This land could cost US$ 10,000 in a place

and it could cost 1 million dollar in a different place.

So what difference does it make if we talk about the price of the land?

And second is because this land is been in my family for 28 I think like 29 years.

Yeah, like... you can consider 30 years.

So 30 years ago not even the Brazilian currency was the same.

The Brazil currency was a different currency so we really just don't know.

I asked my daddy and he just doesn't really know how much would cost if we put the past price in the present.

So we don't need to talk about that.

Just if you want to know the price of a land you call a real estate agency in your town.

It's much easier and more precise.

So, another thing Is the variation of the dollar since we started building until now.

Yeah, the thing is we are in Brazil

so all the price we gave you they are in American dollars that we converted to American dollars.

But the price of the dollar changed so much in the past year.

When we started the house the dollar was 3.25 Reais.

Then it went all the way up to 4.1 Reais, and now it came back to 3.7.

So it's hard for us to convert every single piece of something that we spent money.

So it's easier to give you the total amount. If you are in Brazil we spent R$ 45.069,17 on the house itself,

on all the materials and we spent R$ 18.444,75 on the equipments.

So that's the total amount in Reais. That's what we actually spent, we didn't spend it in dollars.

So, that's what we spent on the house. R$ 63.513,92.

We still have a lot to do.

Yeah, the truth is...

You guys must be wandering...

So why are you talking about how much it costs to a shipping container house if the house is not ready?

We believe the house is almost ready to be considered a house.

All we need to do be considered a house is to install plumbing and electrical,

that's not much. It's not that expensive.

After that if you buy a house, that's how the house comes. The house doesn't come with furniture.

Sometimes they put some flooring.

Yeah, but I mean like if you buy an apartment it comes only an apartment.

You don't have furniture.

You don't have all stuff... everything you have inside you add yourself.

So that means that's basically almost the price of shipping container house.

I think we can consider it. But even though I'm saying that we have a lot of work to do.

So let's talk about what we still plan to do on the house.

So we still need to do the flooring.

We still need to build some walls between the kitchen and the bathroom

and the bathroom and the storage place.

How's the floor gonna look like?

Yeah, we're still studying about this.

Yeah, we wanted to do hardwood flooring, that looks really cool.

But we are deciding what kind of wood we want to use.

So... but it's gonna look good. It's gonna be a really cool project.

Wait for it.

So we still need to build all the bathroom, we still need to build the furniture.

All the appliances.

And 3 wooden decks.

Wooden deck we still have one wooden deck in front of the house on the entry door.

Another big one on the back of the house, on the corner of both sides of the house.

And we're gonna have a roof on this big deck.

And in Front of the shipping container doors, where it's gonna be the storage place,

we're gonna have another small wooden deck.

We still need to paint the shipping container.

Plumbing, we still need to the the plumbing.

A lot of digging for the plumbing.

Electrical part. We need to plant the tree but before that we need to paint the shipping container.

And I think that's it, right?

And the wooden brise.

Yeah, the wooden brise. I don't know if brise...

let us know in the comment section bellow is a wooden...

Do you guys understand what we mean by wooden brise?

Or only French people understand what we mean by that.

It's some shade for...

In Brazil we use this word that I guess it's French that it's like stripes of wood to create a shade.

Stripes, yeah.

Strips.

Yeah, strips of wood to create a shade, you know.

Like just like a lot of wood to make sure the sun won't touch the plate of the shipping container.

And in this way, it's not going to be hot inside. I mean, it's not already...

Like the insulation we did, the walls are not hot at all.

Yeah, but just...

Just the doors that are made from glass, so the sun heats the glass and...

And some of this we're gonna do after we move in.

Yeah, the idea is to build the furniture now, the plumbing and electrical and the bathroom

and then we move in and we can do the outside.

That's gonna be fun.

Excited for that. But it's gonna take a while still. A few months.

And we have new Patreons.

That's pretty cool. Yes it's the first time in a long time... I mean it's the first time ever

that we have Patreons that are good friends of ours.

They are supporting is actually since before we start the project.

When we arrived back in Brazil with the idea

I think they were one of the first persons we told about the idea of building the shipping container house

and starting a YouTube channel and the whole thing.

They are with us since the beginning.

So Lina thanks so much.

João, thanks so much.

You guys are awesome.

It's just like a huge help.

But we also have a Patreon that we've never met before, that's also really cool.

Yeah. Stevan, welcome on board.

Stevan, thanks so much.

It means a lot to us that you ere just on board of it with us.

And that's really cool.

If you guys don't know what we're talking about. We're gonna leave a link for Patreon.

That's basically a way of getting closer to us a way of supporting the channel and supporting our project.

And it's just...

Let's explain our project.

Oh, our project, yeah.

Yeah, maybe it's the first time you're here, right?

We are basically building a tiny shipping container house.

Without any prior experience.

We never done anything before we've never worked with any of these tools before.

And we decided to have a youtube channel that's just following what we're doing

and showing all the small details of process.

The process... the good and the bad process, like all our mistakes. We also show on the videos.

So we launch a new video every Monday morning on Brazil time. (*every Monday EST 9AM)

So if you want to watch...

I think it the best way is to... we're gonna leave a playlist.

(The playlist will be here in)

In this playlist has all the episodes so far from day 1 to 53.

We're on the episode 53 today.

Yeah, so one year and one week.

So you can go to this playlist and you can watch the whole thing.

It's really cool.

Sometimes we go back and watch it. This is cool to see how the house used to look,

because so different from what is looking now.

And that's it, right?

Yeah, I think so.

If you watched this or if you like what you're watching right now

it helps a lot just leave us a like. That helps a lot the channel.

And if you like it even more you can subscribe to the channel.

I think it's not a bad idea.

You know just subscribe, you hit the button, you click on the little bell and you come back every Monday

because we can entertain you.

I mean like we... don't expect someone professional that know what they're doing.

Not at all.

We are not professionals, we don't know what we're doing.

But for sure...

This is not a how to for sure.

For sure we're gonna show you all our mistakes and hopefully you won't make the same mistake.

Hope you learn from our mistakes and don't do the same.

We make mistakes so you don't need to make them.

So I guess we see you guys next Monday.

Dating culture in Ukraine. How to impress a girl in Ukraine - Duration: 9:21.

Hello I am Elena Vygnanyuk, CEO of PRIME matchmaking

company.

Subscribe our channel, put your likes, leave comments and enjoy many useful videos about

dating Ukrainian ladies, building relationships and family with them.

The first date is always an exciting and trembling event, both for a girl and for a man.

You may think that all first dates are always the same: a romantic atmosphere, familiarity,

conversations, and meaningful views.

But what is special about dating a Ukrainian woman?

What can you expect from a typical Ukrainian woman at the first meeting?

To increase the chances and get consent for a second date, you need to learn the culture

of dating in Ukraine.Dating culture in Ukraine.

How to meet ukrainian women?

The culture of dating with the Ukrainian woman is different from dating any other girl.

If you date a Ukrainian, or you just plan a meeting, you must understand that Ukrainian

women are always full of surprises, both good and bad.

A good surprise is that when you meet Ukrainian women, you will find out that they are always

well-groomed, they look after their appearance, but they also love to take care of their men.

As for the negative surprise, the Ukrainians may remain "cold" in relation with the

men for a very long time.

Ukrainian women will rarely pretend about their feelings, and if you managed to open

her heart for love, rest assured that this love will be very strong and strong.

Do not expect that on the first date the Ukrainian girl will tell you the whole story from her

past.

If you want a Ukrainian woman to be open and frank with you, you need to be patient – this

may take a month, two, or maybe six.

It can be difficult for a man from another country and different culture, but if you

are looking for a long-term relationship with a Ukrainian girl – be prepared for the fact

that you will have to overcome difficulties.

Nowadays, most Ukrainians are ready to meet and are actively searching for foreign men

who can be their future husbands.

But foreign guys, as well as Ukrainian girls, are not always ready for differences in culture

and traditions.

So, if you got consent to a meeting from a Ukrainian girl – be sure that she liked

you.

It's time to find out how to behave on the first date in Ukrainian.

Do you want your date to be unique?

Do you want to impress the girl?

If you want it – Do it!

20 years ago things in dating culture in Ukraine were different...

A few decades ago Ukrainian men and women got acquainted with the help of newspapers

or friends, arranged a meeting and spent a date walking in the park and getting to know

each other.

People got acquainted freely on the street, on the beach and in public transport.

The invitation to go to a movie or a cafe on a first date was something romantic and

special.

The man was the initiator of the rendezvous and he tried to win girl's interest.

The first few dates were very important for the couple, as they evaluated each other and

could understand whether they made the right choice – and such meetings often became

fatal.

DATING ONLINE NOWADAYS Today, men are looking for girls on different

dating sites.

They can communicate daily and in a few days know almost everything about each other.

Sometimes online dating remains to be an acquaintance in the Internet, but still those who are looking

for a serious relationship want to meet in real life.

A date often happens in the restaurant.

Nowadays it may seem strange if a person invites a girl to other places: going to the movies

is no longer in fashion, but to invite a girl to an ice show, to a circus or to a dolphinarium

can help to make an unforgettable impression from the first meeting.

DATING AND UKRAINIAN WOMEN Every Ukrainian girl dreams of a romantic

relationship.

She believes that dating is an obligatory part of the relationship between a man and

a woman, even if they are married for 10 years.

Ukrainian women pay attention to the smallest details.

Therefore, prepare for a date very carefully: choose a place and time convenient for the

girl.

Do not forget about your interests and that on the first Ukraine date you need to know

more about the Ukrainian girl.

The first date is the only chance to make the right first impression.Dating and Ukrainian

women The first thing the Ukrainian girl pays attention

to is whether you came on a date with a bouquet of flowers.

Some men ignore this, but for a Ukrainian girl this is a very important sign of attention.

Girls necessarily pay attention to the man's appearance and the way he is dressed.

You need to look not only neat, but also fashionable.

It is very important for a Ukrainian girl, that a man manifests himself in everything,

especially in the financial part, that is why a man must pay for everything.

Ukrainian girls do not accept to share a bill like in other countries.

If a man cannot give her financial stability and security, then why should she be with

such a man?

A kiss is very important for a Ukrainian girl and it means a lot for romantic ladies, so

do not expect for the first kiss on the first date, or try to kiss the girl if you do not

have serious intentions.

In history, there are times when people saw each other and fell in love at first sight.

But long does it take to date Ukrainian girl to understand that it is time to make an offer

to marry.

In view of the fact that Ukrainians need more time to understand that they want to marry

just you, then count on a period of not less than 6 months.

According to psychologists, six months is a period when real love comes and people show

sincere feelings.

It is very difficult to make such a step, if you have a relationship at a distance,

and you see each other once in 6-12 months.

Try to meet more often, and if thousands of kilometers are between you, meet half-way

to each other.

Firstly, it will save time, and secondly it is very romantic.

The most important thing in the relationship with the Ukrainian and with any other girl

is trust.

If you want a serious relationship, move from online meetings to real life: invite on a

date, give flowers, and say compliments.

CASUAL DATING In modern Ukraine, the culture of "casual

dating" is developed among the Ukrainian generation under the age of 25.

Girls aged 30+, being more traditional, still prefer a serious relationship.

Of course, not every girl wants to get married and have children tomorrow, but she is not

ready for a one-night relationship either.

In many European countries and in America as well it is considered absolutely ordinary

to get acquainted and then spend the night together or date without any obligations.

It is quite different in Ukraine Casual dating means that your date is here

and now.

You can have fun together, be close or do whatever you want but you still search for

a reason if she can be the only one but meanwhile you have a "no strings attached" approach.

People who date casually don't want to find the way of solving problems as it can join

them and make their relationship stronger.

Once they look for solutions together, they will realize how serious their relationship

could be.

What you have to decide for yourself whether you want a serious relationship or just a

casual dating, whether you need beautiful Ukrainian ladies or you can find the one for

your needs

in your country.

How to Save 50% of Your Monthly Income Part 4! Our Actual Monthly Expenses Revealed! - Duration: 10:19.

How's it going everybody! Welcome to part four of our series on how we save over

50% of our net monthly income now I know it's been a while since I've made one of

these but I've wanted to make another part of this many of you have asked

mainly subscribers and viewers of all kinds of asked hey Mike what are your

monthly expenses can you elaborate a little bit more on that or go into more

detail and I thought yeah absolutely why not so we're going to kick off the

expenses right now and these are our actual expenses as accurate as I can get

them for you and then we're gonna walk right through it and so you guys can see

what we spend to live here on a monthly basis here in California okay starting

with our auto expenses and hopefully my head doesn't get in the way at any of

these points so our auto insurance this is an expense I'm looking at changing

we're roughly spending about 182 dollars a month right now auto insurance gone up

on us quite a bit this year I'm kind of ticked off about it and so I want to

look around and shop around for lower rates for our two cars DMV renewal is

about $35 a month and then I want to point out that obviously we don't renew

our vehicle every month but I'd the way I budget for our finances and our

expenses and to help us stay out of debt I even if the expense is not occurring

this month because obviously DMV fees occur only once per year that I put it

on the spreadsheet as if it were a monthly expense so I can save up money

for it does that make sense so I'm always pretending that I have the

expense even though the expense might not occur right at that moment so that

when the expense does roll around I have money already saved and set aside for it

and that keeps us out of debt and this kept us out of debt for years and years

it's works very effectively feeling gas we spent about 200 hours a month right

now oil changes about 22 dollars a month whenever we need an oil change Triple A

so about 12 dollars a month or 144 dollars a year would you have triple-a

roadside service car washes occasionally we'll take our car to the carwash

repairs you know I asked to mate that in there's 85 bucks a month is what I set

aside in a car repair account and we do separate our savings accounts I have it

by category so I have savings set aside for vacations for car repairs and other

other such things home repairs and things like that just so you guys know

okay moving forward smog every every other year or so we have a smog expense

so but that's very small we have like four dollars and 50 cents per month is

what it actually cost us

day 9 a budget about $150 a month sometimes we stay in sometimes we go out

so on average it comes out to about that gym membership

and fitness is about sixteen bucks a month hobbies is could be miscellaneous

things like you know if I buy a game here or there which is very rare now or

if my wife buys books my wife loves the read books so she'll buy stuff on Amazon

all the time off the Kindle bookstore so that's what that money is set aside for

vacation and travel so we're always budgeting money for vacations usually

like once a year we try to think of nice vacation so like this year we went down

to San Diego for a week we had a blast overall with like the hotel stays and

the different parks we went to we went to SeaWorld we went to San Diego Zoo

it's amazing if you guys have never been there make sure to check it out but you

know in the long story short though we ended up spending about $1,600

so we budget anywhere from $1,500 a year to two thousand dollars a year with

vacations so we're always putting that money aside so that we don't have to go

into debt to take a vacation moving on the debt obligations and this is

something I really wanted to have stand out notice we don't have car payments we

don't have credit card payments we have no medical loan payments the only debt

payment we have is our mortgage and I've you if you guys have been following

channel for now you know that's the only debt that I would hold on to I am an

anti debt person so in step 4 having a mortgage I want to get rid rid

of debt as soon as possible this year we just recently purchased a new car we

purchased a used rav4 I think a 2015 year model but we paid cash because I

did not want to take a vehicle loan so this is our true mortgage payment I the

update it real quick just so it says that payment is net of taxes and

insurance so every single month this is how much money it costs us to have our

home 636 dollars and you're say Mike that's ridiculous that's well below the

rent price I say I know I'm pretty pretty blessed so we got our house at

the end of 2012 on beginning January of 2013 that around

that time frame and we bought our house here in California the market had not

recovered yet and it was about we purchased a house for $185,000 we were

able to put 20% down and so now I think on our mortgage we owe I think we owe

about 93 thousand dollars left right now and and I have no incentive to pay this

because mortgage rates are already higher than what my annual rate is now

so but that's our mortgage payment and this is one of the reasons we can save

so much money every single month one of our largest expenses on our budget is

definitely food and household products and more so definitely like grocery

shopping getting food for the week are the for the month getting supplies

cleaning supplies you know hair supplies makeup whatever whatever my wife needs

to buy all of that runs us just between her and I because we don't have any kids

about eight hundred and fifty dollars a month haircuts is roughly about sixty

bucks a month let's move on to two home rent living and utilities so electricity

is about a hundred bucks a month here gas is about sixty bucks a month our

gardener is about 90 bucks a month I used to not have a gardener I used to

always do our yard but from the money I'm making from YouTube now I'm able to

hire him now so I can spend more time making videos and content for you guys

and he's happy he's getting paid and he likes coming over and is hanging out

with us anyways so my brother-in-law helping us out with that so we

appreciate it property taxes now this are my our

property taxes and our homeowners insurance right here is bundled together

with our mortgage but I wanted to break it out so you guys can see the

difference so really when I pay our mortgage I really pay eight hundred

fifty eight bucks a month but so our property taxes and homeowners insurance

swaps or do add add another two hundred and twenty two dollars per month to that

payment so eight hundred fifty eight bucks is our mortgage payment with taxes

and insurance obviously we're set aside money from

home repairs it doesn't occur every month thank God but we set money aside

for that pest control once a quarters when they come so it's about like 95 96

bucks every every quarter water and sewer garbage guys is one of the pricier

ones it's about one hundred and thirty five dollars a month let's go on to

medical and health care so luckily our insurance is pretty much both completely

covered by our employers so we don't really have a lot of cost here right now

there's some you know vitamins and prescriptions we buy so it's about ten

bucks a month but pretty much insurance covers everything for us right now and

nothing is out of pocket so that's really nice hey guys we're almost done

here so moving on to his services and like TV phone internet etc cell phone

for my wife and I combined is eighty seven bucks a month that's for two smart

phones I'm still using my iPhone 5s which I showed in my very first video to

this series I've had it for like three or four years now still works not gonna

get a new one yet when I do get a new one I'm gonna go shopping on eBay cuz

that's where I can find them really cheap because I do not need a $1,200

smartphone internet expense is like seventy four bucks a month I'm gonna be

looking at changing that we're with AT&T right now but I want to maybe look at

gif team to comm cat we have a couple software products that I use for YouTube

and whatnot that's about ten bucks a month television services we just use

streaming services like Netflix and Hulu we don't really have cable TV we cut

that a long time ago so that's about like I said about 30 bucks a month their

web services at some other stuff for money in life TV comm and some other

computer stuff that's about 15 bucks a month so guys those are pretty much a

walk through of our expenses let me know if you have questions about any of those

and if you can't if you take out some of the items that we don't occur on a

monthly basis we're easily saving anywhere from this

about 49 percent to up to 60 percent of our income of our net income at some

points during yeah during the year it just depends so I hope that makes sense

guys and now down here I have it all broken out

well guys you've asked for more transparency regarding our monthly

expenses and here they are I hope I hope that clears some things up for you guys

of how we can save over 50% of our income or right around 50% of our income

every single month remember that when we first got married we could not do this

it took a couple of years of getting promotions at our jobs paying off debt

like student loans and things like that before we were able to get to this point

and so that's pretty much all the information I have for you guys today

you guys have any questions at all feel free to drop a comment down below make

sure to check out this budget spreadsheet for free you can download it

How Millions of Microscopic Fibers Are Ending Up in Our Bodies | The Swim - Duration: 6:17.

You may not be wearing an insulated wetsuit like Pacific swimmer Ben Lecomte,

but part of the outfit you're wearing right now is going to come in contact with the ocean

eventually.

The new invisible threat that they're discovering is that microfiber from all our clothes

ends up in the ocean, and now they're finding already that it's being ingested by animals.

Does it pass through or does it end up in their flesh, and then we end up eating it?

These are the questions Dimitri Deheyn and his team at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography

are exploring, as they work with The Swim expedition to investigate the strange little strings

known as microfibers.

Unfortunately, the fish will probably have microfibers in its gut.

So do I, and so do you.

It is estimated that every single person would have about three to five million microfibers

going through their body on a given day.

Shed by synthetic materials like polyester, spandex, and nylon, microfibers are so abundant

that the filters once designed to catch them clogged so dramatically that companies removed

them from washing machines altogether.

Today, these particles flush freely into waterways with every spin cycle.

Microfibers are about five microns in size or smaller,

about 20 times smaller than the diameter of your hair.

Microfibers are so small that they are able to adsorb contaminants;

and those contaminants may be many times more concentrated than in the surrounding water.

Microfibers are tinier and carry more charge than microplastics, meaning they may be circulated

more quickly throughout global water and air currents, and soak up more toxins or microorganisms

along the way.

They are so small that they are like little needles that can poke a cell.

These microfibers have been found in places as remote as the North Pole.

There are now increasing reports of microfibers from Europe, from the United States of course

from South America

and of course from Asia.

They are found in bottled water.

They are found in water fountains and anything that links to water,

beer, wine, any kind of liquid might contain some

microfiber, to some extent.

Those microfibers can go inside the cells of the digestive tract, and from there,

can they pass on into other tissues?

Can it affect asthma?

Irritation from the respiratory passages?

Or anything else?

With the help of the Seeker crew, Dimitri and his team are collecting samples of ocean

water and fish flesh to see if they can unravel the mystery of microfibers' impact.

In terms of knowing what we breathe, what we eat, and what we drink,

it is important that we have a heat map of where microfibers are mainly concentrated.

We expect that every single big city would kind of have an area around it that would

be rich in microfibers, associated with where sewage

is discharged, but we don't really know what's truly offshore, far away from that.

We don't just try and catch fish to eat.

We also are collecting samples from their flesh, which we send back to be dissolved

and to see if there's microfiber in there.

To count the fibers in the samples from the boat, the team uses a blacklight,

because microfibers are fluorescent.

Many things in the ocean could fluoresce.

We have some sort of a program that can teach the computer to recognize

what microfibers are based on their shape, based on their length, and based on the combination

of spectral characteristics.

The technology analyzes the images using face recognition software.

So once microfibers can be mapped, Dimitri's team tests how these synthetic particulates

could actually impact our health, by using light production from species as a potential clue.

Organisms in the ocean that produce light, when they don't feel good, they produce less light.

That's a brittle star, tiny, tiny one.

Evolutionary speaking, these animals are very close to you and I.

Its light production is directly correlated to the health of the nervous system.

So if the light does not follow a certain pattern, we can assess neurotoxicity.

It's good to use them as a proxy to what we could have as an impact for our own nervous system.

My vision for the future is positive.

We will start to learn from nature.

And that's the concept of biomimicry: what can we learn from nature to be the best integrated in nature?

Companies are already focusing on biomimicry aspects of microfibers in clothing

so that whatever we will generate will be fully reintegrated into the environment.

We live in nature.

We are part of nature.

We are part of a closed system.

We have water flowing through us and food flowing through us, and whatever pollution

we put out there, that will be flowing through us as well.

Eventually.
