Goal Visualization – How Much Should You Do? - Duration: 5:59.

Visualization is a tool that can be used to help bring clarity in thought.

In regards to goals, it can help a person see their goals more clearly.

And when you can see your goals more clearly in your mind you're able to take better action

in accomplishing them.

Today, I want to talk about the "sweet spot"—of not doing too much visualization and not doing

too little visualization—you gotta find the middle ground.

And, this thought today was stimulated from a quote that comes from Ego is the Enemy,

a book by Ryan Holiday.

And that quote goes like this, "Talking and doing fight for the same resources.

Research shows that while goal visualization is important, after a certain point our mind

begins to confuse it with actual progress.

The same goes for verbalization.

Even talking aloud to ourselves while we work through difficult problems has been shown

to significantly decrease insight and breakthroughs.

After spending so much time thinking, explaining, and talking about a task, we start to feel

like we've gotten closer to achieving it.

Or worse, when things get tough, we feel we can toss the whole project aside because we've

given it our best try, although of course we haven't."

Okay, so first, let's talk about the power of proper visualization.

When it comes to Martial Arts competition, I actually have a phase in my training that

is dedicated to deep, mental visualization of my Martial Arts performances and possible

sparring matches that might be coming up.

And I know, that when I can get myself into a deep enough visualization it feels like

I'm actually in the moment—physically.

I feel like the same motor neurons are being fired and the signals that would happen to

fire during my actual match are actually firing off while I'm deeply thinking about it—even

though I'm not even moving.

And, this mental visualization is an extremely powerful tool that makes me feel like I'm

in the moment and helps me connect my mind to my body so that when I'm actually in the

moment, I feel like I've already been there.

So, proper visualization is an extremely powerful tool, something that I have used before, and

something that makes me feel like I've actually been in that moment.

Now...

How might that be an issue?

If you look at it, as far as goal setting... if we... start thinking to our self—and

visualizing our self—with a goal, or maybe working towards a goal...

Because all of the planning that we've been doing to accomplish that goal... then what

will happen is...

Like Ryan Holiday said in the quote that I just mentioned, it almost feels like you've

been taking steps towards accomplishing it, when in reality, all you've been doing is

bouncing ideas back and forth in your head.

And, that can be dangerous because...

I mean, maybe not dangerous... it could be dangerous to accomplishing your goal because

it feels like a sense of "false confidence" in working towards achieving it.

The only thing that we really should be focused on is visualizing—for clarity—and once

we find clarity, using that to take action.

And, basing our progress, towards accomplishing our goal on the action that we've taken.

If we only base it on visualizations and thoughts, or maybe planning methods, then we're gonna

fall short.

Again, we're gonna build up a sense of false hope.

And as, you know, Holiday alludes to, we might even give up earlier than we normally would have

...because we feel like we've been doing all of this work and taking all of this action,

when in reality all we've been doing is planning and going in circles in our own head.

If we give up early, if we fall short, if we feel like we've given it our best shot

and we stop our project or we, you know, throw the idea out the window, then not only is

that a disservice to you—in what you're able to give back to the world in unleashing

your full potential—but that's also a disservice to the people that were gonna benefit from

that idea.

Right?

All of the people that you were gonna influence by bringing that idea to reality.

Or people that you might have influenced through the performance that you were gonna give,

in regards to my Martial Arts example.

So, don't just do this for yourself, do this for all of the people that you have the potential

to influence.

Spend some time visualizing, yes, but don't visualize so much that you're holding yourself

back from taking the proper actions that are required.

So, spend some time thinking about this—but not too long—and after you feel like you

have some clarity in the idea, focus more on taking action after you have a rough draft

in your mind.

Don't try to get the full thing, you know, perfectly aligned, perfectly typed out, perfectly

completed in your brain before you start taking action on something.

As soon as you got a rough draft—as soon as you got an outline—learn by doing.

Learn by actually taking the action because that's the only thing that's gonna keep you

moving forward towards realizing your full potential in life.

So, I hope this idea brought some clarity, and I hope this idea inspires you to take

more action and visualize maybe a little less, unless you don't do any visualization at all,

then maybe a little bit more—and bring more good into the world.

Super Easy Way To Access the Dark Web (How To) - Duration: 6:09.

This episode is brought to you by Dashlane; Try Dashlane Premium free for 30 days at www.dashlane.com/infographics

and never forget another password and keep all your online accounts secure!

If you've seen our shows on the dark web, you'll know some of the things you can find

there.

We've talked before about illegal activities happening there, but there is much more to

this place.

You might find whistleblowers in the dark web, perhaps fearful of their identity being

uncovered.

Human rights journalists might also publish here, with an understanding that their work

can't be traced back to them.

Critics of oppressive governments might air their concerns there, while others just want

absolute privacy when talking to people about their health.

Welcome to this episode of the Infographics Show, How to access the dark web.

First let's give you a 101 on the dark web.

Sources differ on how much of the internet can be seen using a standard browser.

In a story, NPR told us that 96 percent of the Internet is not available through normal

browsers.

Call it the iceberg theory, which means the internet we see is just the tip.

Other resources tell us it's more like 90 percent, which is still huge.

So, what exactly are we not seeing?

First of all, we should understand the difference between the "Deep Web" and "Darknet"

sites.

The deep web might not be quite as degenerate as the dark web.

The deep web is simply part of the web that can't be accessed through conventional browsers.

One expert tell us, "Despite many representations of a nefarious underground operating out-of-sight,

the deep web is mostly benign private databases and web resources not meant to be accessed

by the general public."

Lots of data online isn't available to our prying eyes.

Companies or banks have private databases, or some websites might not want to be indexed;

they want to remain unsearchable.

It's not really that surprising that most of the information flowing around the internet

is protected.

But then we have the dark web, and that's a totally different thing.

This is a place where one wants absolute anonymity – not to say people don't get found, they

do.

As we said, you might find political dissidents working there.

In some countries you can still lose your freedom, or life, for criticizing a leader

or ruler.

How does it work?

How do people get this anonymity they require?

Well, the dark net both incorporates encryption and also uses special privacy browsers.

The best known is Tor, which is sometimes called, "The Onion Router."

It is free software that directs traffic through a massive network <consisting of thousands

of relays.

These servers are run by volunteers.

Here is an explanation by the Tor Project: "Tor's users employ this network by connecting

through a series of virtual tunnels rather than making a direct connection, thus allowing

both organizations and individuals to share information over public networks without compromising

their privacy."

We are told that the Tor network was created by the U.S. Navy and is still partly funded

by the U.S. government.

People can publish websites that can't be tracked.

Tor tells us that while many people might think chat rooms are just full of rather strange

people talking about eating each other or making a poodle burger, many people go to

hidden chatrooms to discuss privately how they survived abuse, or perhaps to talk about

an illness they have that they are afraid could be found out in chatrooms outside of

private browsing.

This is a good thing of course, because why shouldn't people at times have a bit of

privacy?

You might remember probably the most infamous site, The Silk Road, a marketplace where you

could buy many things you won't see being sold in the local shopping mall, but some

of those items were just regular things.

More recently, AlphaBay and Hansa were also closed.

Both these sites were run as hidden services (Onion services) on the Tor network.

But this show isn't about what we find on the dark web, it's more of a How To show

to tell you how you can access the dark web.

It actually isn't hard at all.

So, first get yourself a Virtual Private Network (VPN) if you are intending to get on the dark

web.

This is easy, just Google VPNS you can choose--even our sponsor Dashlane has a VPN!

Some are free, some of them cost a small amount of money.

You don't need a VPN, but if you want to be extra secure, get one.

Even if Tor was compromised and you were visiting dark net sites, because you had a VPN it is

very unlikely you could be traced.

Ok, so you have your VPN, you are ready to access the Tor browser.

To do this just go to Tor and download it.

It couldn't be easier.

Only download from the Tor site.

If you Google the words, "download Tor Browser" you should see as the top result the Tor Project.

Just wait a while and then install the browser on your machine.

Next, you'll have the option to "Start Tor Browser".

This you will do, and you will have access to .onion websites.

If you want to visit marketplaces, simply find a Darknet Market List.

You might also go to the popular databases, the Onion Directory and the Hidden Wiki.

These will tell how to access most things in the dark web.

Note: some people say it's best not to change the window size while in Tor as the authorities

can track you easier if you do.

Others says also turn off Java Script.

Some others even say that you should put tape over your webcam, because you just never know.

Hey, Mark Zuckerberg does it.

Disable your mic, too.

Basically shut down all apps that are on your computer.

It should go without saying that you don't use your real name and try not to send anyone

a photo of yourself.

You should also use an anonymous email account.

When you are done with your session, just shut your computer down.

Voila, you have been in the dark net, and you've done it the safest way.

The Dark Web can be a pretty scary place, but for most people they really just want

to look for themselves for one reason: to see if their personal information is being

bought and sold on digital marketplaces!

You could try to access the dark web yourself, but there's an easier way- Dashlane offers

a free dark web scan that will automatically find out if your information is up for sale

and what exactly that information is- from your driver's license, to social security

number, or even telephone number!

And by signing up with Dashlane you can help secure your internet experience by using their

VPN to browse quickly and safely.

Head on over to www.dashlane.com/infographics for a free 30 day trial, and if you use the

coupon code 'infographics' you can get 10% off a premium subscription today!

How many of you have accessed the dark web?

What were you looking for and what did you find?

Do you have any dark web tips for us?

Tell us in the comments.

How much new Chelsea signing Gonzalo Higuain will cost in Fantasy Premier League - Duration: 2:48.

Gonzalo Higuain is finally a Chelsea player and is widely expected to become the first choice striker at Stamford Bridge after joining the Blues on loan

But will you be making him first choice in Fantasy Premier League?   It has been confirmed today (Thursday) that the Argentine will cost £9

5m in the popular game, having joined the Blues on an initial loan until the end of the season

Higuain finally joined Chelsea last night (Wednesday) after a transfer saga that has rumbled on for the past few weeks, with the deal complicated by the fact that the striker had been on loan at AC Milan from Juventus in the first half of the season

The deal was also delayed by the fact that Milan wanted to sign a replacement for Higuain first, which they did earlier this week when Polish striker Krzystof Piatek joined from Genoa on a long-term deal

That paved the way for Higuain to make the move to west London, on an initial loan deal until the end of the season, with an option to extend for another 12 months for a fee of €18million (£15

7million).  The Blues can also buy the Argentine on a permanent basis for a fee of €36million (£31

4million) which would have to be paid over two years should he move be a success.  Higuain is expected to lead the line for Chelsea now and boss Maurizio Sarri will be hoping that he can recreate the form that saw him score 36 goals in a season at Napoli when the pair worked together before

If he can find form with the Blues between now and the end of the season, the figure of £9

5 in Fantasy Premier League could prove to be a bargain.   Keep up to date with the latest news, features and exclusives from football

Higuain to Chelsea: The full loan details, option to buy and how much he cost - Duration: 3:36.

Premier League fans are used to seeing the phrase 'undisclosed fee' when it comes to transfers for their players, but in Italy they do things slightly different

Juventus have revealed the full financial details behind Gonzalo Higuain's loan move to Chelsea after it was announced as confirmed this evening by both clubs

The deal is an initial loan until the end of the campaign, with no fee incurred, however the Blues have the option of extending the loan for another 12 months for a fee of €18million (£15

7million).  The Blues can also buy the Argentine on a permanent basis for a fee of €36million (£31

4million) which would have to be paid over two years should he move be a success.   The statement from Juventus read : "Juventus Football Club S

p.A. announces that the agreement with AC Milan S.p.A. for the temporary transfer of the player Gerardo Gonzalo Higuain has been terminated and, at the same, the agreement with Chelsea Football Club Ltd for the loan, until 30 June 2019, of the player has been finalized

These operations do not generate any significant economic effects in the current financial year

"The agreement also grants to Chelsea FC the options to extend the duration of the loan until 30 June 2020, for a consideration of €18million to be paid in 2019/2020 financial year, or to acquire the registration rights of the player on a permanent basis for €36 million to be paid in two financial years

"  It certainly seems like a short-term fix, while the Blues are set to welcome back Tammy Abraham and Michy Batshuayi from their loan deals in the summer to put some pressure on the Argentine

Olivier Giroud's current contract with the Blues is set to expire in the summer, while Alvaro Morata is close to a move to Atletico Madrid

Chelsea's transfer plans for January   With the January transfer window in full swing, football

london want to hear from Chelsea fans on the business they want to see from the club in the first month of 2019 and their view on the season so far under Maurizio Sarri

How Long Could You Last With No Income? - Duration: 2:30.

Hey it's Andrew Wheatley, The Money Ninja again and today I wanted to talk about

how would you fare if you were in the middle of a government shutdown such as

happening in America at the moment? I don't mean particularly that you might

work for the government the question really is what would you do if you

didn't get paid next month? What would you do if you didn't get paid for two months?

What we're seeing on TV at the moment, which is really tragic, is people

getting up who've missed one month's paycheck and they're talking about

having to go and sell their car to pay bills, and people are saying if I miss my

second month's paycheck I can't pay my mortgage. So within two

paychecks, or two months, these people's financial strength has totally

crumbled. Now what should you be doing to avoid this? I know whenever I'm reviewing

mortgages for people reviewing their financial situation there's a lot of

different things we tick off and this is one of them.

Now as far as how much cash you need to have in the bank, at a minimum

you want to have enough to cover your living expenses for three months.

So if your household, you might have two people working, receive no

income for three months can you make the minimum mortgage repayments or pay your rent?

Can you buy food? Can you pay the bills? Can you have a bit of

petrol money and certain some basic expenses. Don't worry about having

money if maybe if you if you're paying extra off your mortgage or you got money

you're putting away for a holiday every month or something. Forget about that,

that can go for three months. But you need to be able to cover the basics so

that you're not getting credit defaults against, you're not getting places

chasing you up and you're not under heavy financial stress. Now go one step

further you really should aim to get at least

six months okay but let's start with three as the aim. For these people we're

seen on TV at the moment three months would have them, well, they'd love to

have three months right now. We should aim for six. So starting point

work out those numbers. Do you have that much money sitting in your offset

account? Or sitting in a savings account at the moment? And if not I would have a

look at your budget and start putting some regular money aside aiming to get

to that place, be more financially strong and not be...... have all

your financial dreams crumbled pretty easily just through missing one or two

months paychecks. OK I hope that's of help to you, any questions feel free to

message me or or put them in the comments below thanks.
