Hello, it's Saturday evening.
This evening we have pork ribs
marinade with lemongrass paste.
I marinade it since yesterday
so I think it's very flavored.
How to make and the ingredients

It's this was summer time
it would be super delicious!
Because you grill it and enjoy it in the backyard
pair with some watermelon and such.
This marinade
I used it with beef, chicken
pork ribs, 2 different kinds of ribs
one are the big pork ribs
the other one are the ribs which has these white tender bone like this here.
From experience these tender bone ribs are tastier
it has a crunchy texture.
Since I'm grilling outside I have to turn it often
otherwise it burns
due to the lemongrass paste and sugar in the marinade.

I will brush it over the ribs when it dries out.

I am brushing a little bit as I grill.

But I did not make some.
I went inside and check the fridge
and notice I have some green papaya left
I will probably make a serving of papaya salad
to go with these grill pork ribs.
Otherwise I only have 1 item
it would be a lonely meal.
When grilling this I don't step away from it much
as it can burn quick.
If it burns the meat is not good and you cannot eat it
it has to be discard.
So I keep an eye and turn it back and forth often.
It's now done, I am going to plate it.
I will go make the papaya salad inside.
Tonight's dinner is all set.
I have papaya salad with salty crab
and the pork ribs that I just grilled.
Oh, and also salted duck eggs
I have one half left.

We finished the papaya salad
just the crab legs left.

it can be save for tomorrow.

I will eat it with coconut ice cream in a bit.

We are not at Costco.
The goal was to come buy diapers and baby wipes
but we saw these flowers as we walked in.
We have been wanting them.
They are orchids but very tolerant.
You can plant them outside.
And every year the bulbs multiply
so it's a good investment.
It's also low maintenance
- At home the bulbs are bigger. - We had ours for many years now.
We mostly have the yellow flower at home.
This one is green.
- The red one is nice too. - This one is white.

It's been awhile since ours bloom.
But I know that we have the yellow one.
And the pink ones we have too, this one here.

It's worth it because
when the guest drinks, they finish it.
They don't leave it behind.
If we get the big, tall one
when they drink it all,
I mean when they drink and cannot finish it
they leave it behind.
And when they want to drink it again
they don't drink from the same bottle,
or they forget that it's their bottle.
So they toss it and grabs another bottle.
That's why we like to get these short bottles instead.

and bought some food to eat at home
because their food court is outside and it's raining.
The kids are cold so we brought it home.

because we don't have the powerful tool.

This toilet paper is used with low pressure toilet.
The paper is a bit thinner

This evening
my dear husband said he wants to put away
the Christmas tree.

Christmas season is over.
Put away the tree and the lights.
Actually today's goal was
to clear the yard in the back
where our garden is
to prep for planting.
But it rained so it was muddy
and we change plans to shopping for house supplies.
Also got some groceries.
But next week
from Monday on
the forecast says no rain
so we can probably do some stuff outside.

I came outside and it's all chopped down.

The saw blade we got from Home Depot earlier
he can't stay still
he wants to test and see how sharp it is.

I just finished watching football.
I haven't watched it 3-4 yrs now.
This season I did not watch it from the beginning either.
I had some time so I watched it today.
When I watched it I got hooked.
But I cook and prep as I was watching

The one I showed yesterday was pork ribs.
Now this is pork. I got from Costco today.
Sliced and then marinade.
This one is marinade to make Caramelized Pork.
Caramelized Pork with Eggs for tomorrow.
I didn't get to film the details as I was watching football.
Tomorrow I will fry some of this
to see how it taste so I can adjust if needed.
The pork we got came in a really big package
$28 so we can make a lot of different dishes out of it.
Slice some to marinade.
Cut into chunks
and some kept in the fridge to make porridge and such
or to make stir fries later on.
Today is Monday.
It's 11:30AM
Earlier my Mom made some eggrolls
and add some rice noodles
for me to eat with sweet fish sauce
that we had left from making Banh Hoi
the other Sunday.
So I thought, I marinade some pork yesterday
with lemongrass
so why not add this to it.
Now I'm frying it.
I also want to taste it too
to see if the ingredients is good
if not I can adjust it
since it's still marinading.

So my eggs are from small (bantam) chickens
so the eggs are small as well.
It's just that the yolk and the white are equal.
Sometime the yolks are bigger than the whites.
And the yolks are thicker.
As for store bought chickens
sometimes the white is really runny.
And the yolks are not really orange but yellow.
One day I will try each one
just to compare it again.
Now I am going to use this small one
to make Caramelized Pork and Eggs.
I am going to add another item,
fry the pork that I marinade.
I fry some to test this morning and it's good
Fry some to eat with rice this evening
along with Caramelized Pork and Eggs.
All meat today.
I want to fry it outside but it's cold.
To make it easier to eat I am going to cut it into pieces.
When I eat I have these green onions
to put on top.
It's easy. Just chop the green onions
add a little of oil
and a little bit of salt
then pop it in the microwave for 1 min.
add it to top of the meat and that's it.
This evening is all pig.
Fry pork and Caramelized Pork.
I got the pickled mustard green and pickled radish
to help cut some of the the fat when eating.
Mommy give me egg.
