Best Electric Unicycles (2018) Off-Road Review - Duration: 6:29.
Hey its Kuji Rolls, welcome to part 2.
In the first video we did side-by-side comparisons
of the Gotway MSuper x and the Kingsong 18XL
We put them in a 50 meter dash
We compared their braking ability
and covered a bunch of stuff like
pedals and trolley handles
Now for part 2
we'll see how they fare in the real world
On the streets at night
off-roading at the park
and at the end, my final thoughts
with the big wheels on these things
it's really easy to go over bumps
the power of these things
make it really easy to go downhill
but things get a little bit more complicated
when you go uphill
There's three different settings in the app
where you can control the response of the pedals
but even at the tightest settings
it wont be as responsive as the MSX
that little difference
gives a big difference in off-road-ability
what is this noise its making?
What is that?
Do you have some stuff in there?
Ah that was the mudguard
The Kingsong comes with a mudguard
but for some reason, the MSX doesnt
its not a big deal, but you'll definitely want one
I think i need to wear...
I definitely need to wear wrist guards
Good thing i have these snowboard gloves
with like wrist guards built into it
They have like a plastic sheet underneath here
Nice
Yeah, that was pretty reckless
Right here?
Yeah.
I'm gonna jump this thing?
Yeah
I'd rather just drop, but
this is a jump hop
So then im gonna hit this
Hop and then
That seems ridiculous
Oh yeah
I'm gonna do it
OK
I got that
That was awesome
Hows that look?
Same thing with the Kingsong
Not bad
The amount of force that i just put down on those axles is enormous
I've broken so many unicycles
I've broken pedals
I blew out mosfets before
That fact that neither of the axles broke
The pedals didn't break
Nothing bent
tells me that these things are actually quite durable
Like
How is it that...
It's so cold out right now
The majority of my riding is done on the streets
So thats actually where i care about performance the most
The MSX has a larger tire which can absorb bumps better
while still having aggressive pedal settings
The Kingsong on the other hand
uses its softer less-aggressive pedal settings
to make the ride just as comfortable
In part 2 of this comparison review
both performed outstandingly
going down stairs and bumps
are among the best ive ever seen
going up hills,
that's where the Gotway outshined the Kingsong
but on the streets at night,
it was the other way around
So in the end
Kingsong continues to deliver on the convenience factor
And Gotway continues to deliver on the performance
One thing that wasn't supposed to be a test
but i can attest to, is durability
these things are built like tanks
If you're weighing out your options
and also considering the Inmotion V10F
I've done a review for that
and you can check it in the description down below
And coming up next is my first ride
with Gotway's newest model, the Nikola
the 17" little brother of the MSuper X

2018 review: учеба на режиссера, backstage, новое тату и котик (eng subtitles) - Duration: 5:35.
Hey. Today's video is a life update where I would like to share my best moments of 2018 with you
For me, New year started in a real Canadian winter fairy tale
Later in January, I went to Lana Del Rey's concert
I don't even know how long I've been her fan
Probably from the age of 12 or 13
That's why seeing her live was my dream come true
The day after I had an exam and a project due
That's why I had to study on my way to Toronto and before the actual concert
Also, in January I decided to post videos on Youtube
I've tried so many times during the year
but, unfortunately,
I always thought it wasn't good enough
That's why the internet saw only 10% of what I filmed
Maybe even less
In February, someone did a drawing of me
and I also wasted a LOT of time at school doing useless things
In March, I celebrated my bday at a Greek restaurant
and fell in love with Greek food,
wore black NYX lipstick a lot
(I do not recommend buying it btw)
Cut my hair again,
went to an Our Last Night concert
Found my favourite Easter Bread in Ukrainian store (google "Kulich")
and went to an insta meeting where I met my future classmate
In April, I had a class at the studio where I'll spend a lot of time in the future
I also was an assistant stage manager for a show
where I realized that theatre was not my thing
Tried to cook chilli for the first time
and went to see 2Cellos
In April, I was a part of a tech crew for a fashion show at school
to be honest, it was the most stressful time of the year
I hated being there
At the end of the semester, the weather got better
which meant I could eat ice cream outside again
and everything wasn't as bad
jk it was bad
In May, I took a lot of pictures outside,
baked a lot, even worked out
and read Harry Potter
In June, I had my graduation ceremony
where I said goodbye to my program
My parents were watching the graduation ceremony live
and recorded their reaction
it was really cute
I also tried to shoot a lot
but my attempts weren't successful
I ended up posting a few videos
But I learned a lot
I also volunteered at a TV studio
shaved my head for the first time
and volunteered at Pride
I also went to an Alt-j concert
they're my favourite band
literally the best day of my life
seriously, unforgettable,
amazing show
At the end of July, I got a cat. His name is Spy
He likes to wake me up at 4am
In August, I worked at a construction building so I could afford a new camera
I'm filming with it right now by the way
At the end of the summer, I went to an Ed Sheeran concert in Toronto
In September, I started my new program called Advanced Filmmaking
and finally I'm doing what I've been dreaming of doing
meaning, everything that is about the filmmaking industry
I learned so much last semester,
for example, how to operate different equipment
and tried to use film camera for the first time
Worked on different projects with amazing talented people
and will continue to work with them this year
Made my first documentary
and wrote my first script
was a DoP on two other documentaries
Last semester was very productive
Probably the most productive time in my life
In November, I got a new tattoo with characters from Spirited Away
On Christmas break, I went back home (to Ukraine)
it was nice to spend time with my family
and see some of my friends
I think that's it for my 2018 review
There were a lot of ups and downs
but I always try to think
that every experience is valuable and everything I do is not in vain
But, to be honest, despite everything, I didn't want 2018 to end
That's it for today, I hope you liked this video
See you soon

DFFOO GL - Lion Lost Chapter Análise/Review - Duration: 13:01.
Hello guys, check out our partnet channel, link is on description!
Hello guys, puni here. Today we are going to talk about Lion Lost Chapter
On this video, ill talk about Lion skills, in case you don't remember how she works or wasnt playing by the time
ill also talk about her awakening, the boss fight and the banner. Lets start it
Ill just read her skills until 2:30. After you read it, just skip ^^
Just reading her awakening passives. My thoughts about her at 4:07
She got a lot stronger now with her awakening, now her skills are doing 2 hits.
That way we can get more damage without worrying about the damage cap 9999
Her two skills can do hp atack in the end, that is pretty good too.
However Lion has this mechanics that she cant be targeted or all her damage will fall hard
The best option for her, is using a tank that can provoke the enemy attetion.
that way she will be also doing her max damage
When the banner part of this video arrives, ill talk about if it is worth pulling on it
Now lets talk about the boss. Ill just read its commands. I talk about its minions at 6:43
The only concern about these wolves are that they can protect the boss. And that is bad
Ill just read its skills, my thoughts about this boss at 7:28
This boss can be seen as good and bad eyes. Because we need to take 3 enemies at the same time
If you think that fighting three enemies is bad. I can tell you that there is something good about it
because three enemies, means that we have more targets to break, and more brv to the team
So i suggest Bahamut as summon. We sure will receive a lot of benefit from its blessing
Try to handle the three of them together, kill one of them if its highly needed
because you will receive a lot of brv break bonus from them
Another tip that i can tell is to take advantage of Chase Atacks. As i Said its minions has chase values of 10
So they will be throw in the air a lot. You can benefit it to get more brv and high score in the end
as you may know, chase atacks give a lot of points on your score. So try to benefit from it
Here are some non synergy characters that can help
Of course that is just some examples, a lot of others can be used here.
Please use the comments section down below to suggest some of them
DPS as always. Noctis/Vaan/Cloud/Prishe/Tidus/Squall/Terra/Zidane.
Specially Noctis, Squall, Tidus and Prishe. All of them have good Group atacks
Noctis as one of my favorites characaters, have amazing chase AOE, so he will be a great help on this one
Squall is pretty good as well, he can kill waves easy and fast
Supports we have Ramza/Ashe/Selphie/Yuna/Rem
Debuffers we have, Lilisete, Laguna and Serah. Specially Laguna that have great debuff potency and brv battery
and good damage aoe as well. He sure will cause a lot of trouble for these wolves
Almost any character can be used on this LC guys. If you plan to use Lion. I suggest taking Warrior of light
That way u take monsters target always on him.
Snow can be a option too for this strategy
Now lets see the banner and my thoughts about it
It features Lion, Y'shtola and Galuf
U can pass this banner really easy
She got a huge damage boost, but all her damage is around this no-targeting her mechanics
And i particullary don't like this playstyle. I mean you need to not be targeted to do real damage with lion
you get locked to that mechanic, and if you don't acomplish it. you loose a lot
Zack in the future will have almost the same mechanic. He is my favorite. Ill use him
But that mechanic that he need to be targeted to do REAL damage. Sucks...
But it does not make him impossible to use, just like lion.
So, going back to Lion. If you use a tanker together with her. She will do a lot of damage
But you need to question yourself. Is it worth to take one slot of your team to put a tanker
In my opnion it is situational, so you have to be careful
also we had a lot of banners with Y'sthola recently, with her ex and 35 cp.
Galuf is not good right now, he does not have his awakening
So, for me this banner does not deserve a pull. I case you like one of these characters. And you want to pull
the first pull will be half pull. 2k500 gems. since all these weapons we already have on other banners
Thats all about this video. Thanks for watching. Considering hitting the like button if you enjoyed

one-of-a-kind from the factory with its tall flat wire mesh grille and
stainless-steel side air intakes there is no mistaking the heritage of this

Backstreet Boys New Album Review (DNA) From A Pug - Duration: 3:05.
Happy Friday!!
Guess what?
The new Backstreet Boys album was released today
And, I am so flippin excited to review it for you!
My Mum is a HUUGE BSB fan so I guess you could say I was born into it.
….well through rescue :)
So here goes, My puggy review of the new BSB album DNA:
Before the album was released when I heard the first single "Don't Go Breaking My Heart"
I was a little iffy, but to be honest its grown on me so much and I Love it!
Then I heard "No Place" and I Instantly FELL . IN . LOVE.
How could you not boogie in your seat to that one?
Beautiful lyrics, mixed with amazing vocals, and catchy instrumentals?
You can't go wrong!
So after the first two, I thought "Wow! This is going to be a Great album!!"
Which is when I heard "Chances"
OK, if you want A-maaazing harmony, check out "Chances"!
Because WOW.Wow.WOW!
If these fellas could rock a melody before, Well Holy Pug-Aroo they did it again!
You know a group is talented, and an album is Golden
When they could probably sing the whole thing A Capella and have it still be amazing!
PS Fellas, that would be the best idea ever if you could do that for us by the way
An A Capella album! ? Whoooo!
Well Maybe not "New Love" because that one's pretty danc-y
That song has such a different sound but at the same time the instrumental kinda reminds me of "PDA"
Let me know if you think you can hear that too.
"Passionate" is another one I can't stop dancing to
It's SO catchy!
You may be wondering "Quinston, Is there any songs on the album you don't like?"
Weeelll, kinda…
So, it's not that I don't like the song "OK"
But it wasn't my favourite the first time I heard it.
I'm not sure it really meshes with the rest of the album however, I think its also growing on me so...
I'll give that one a little bit of time before I officially make my decision
and I'll get back to you.
I LOOOVE "The Way It Was"!!! The Lyrics in that one just get to me!
And did you hear my Buddy Kevin hittin those notes?
Wow Kev!!! Whooo!
And for the fellas out there watching
If you want to "woo" a lady that you're into
Play her "Just Like You Like It" ...She'll melt for you! Wowza!!
Now I also got my paws on the Japan bonus tracks
and I'm thinking "Do You Remember" should have been one of the main songs.
I think that's my favourite bonus track
Overall I think the feel of the album is so true to their sound
and really shows off their individual talent as well as their blend of beautiful voices!
If you haven't had a chance to check it out, Go for it!!
You won't regret it!
You may be wondering how I was able to hear the album since I'm mostly deaf...
Well my Mum was blaring it so loud I'm sure people all over Canada heard it!
Hmmm... I wonder if my Mum will bring me to the concert with her
so that I can dance with all of you to these Paw-some songs!!?
Paw-some....get it? :P
Well friends, I think I'm going to go and listen to the album again so please "paw"my subscribe button
and also that thumbs up button
I'll be back with another video on Monday
Until then, have a great DNA day and thank you for hanging out with me!
Have a great night!!
Bye BSB Friends!!

Homewood Suites Miami Airport/Blue Lagoon Review - Duration: 4:23.
it is bright out here
welcomes to Miami
the hotel is located right in a lagoon
it's surrounded by a bunch of other
hotels and developments that are kind of
secluded as there is not really a road
around you have to go all the way out
which is a half a mile out and then you
can get other places
[Music]
welcome to Homewood Suites in Miami
Florida where the services slow and the
buildings are okay here Mia we call the
hotel like we're supposed to for their
shuttle and they said three minutes
three ended up waiting a half an hour we
add to the hotel and they said come back
to 20 minutes your room would be ready
and we ended up waiting over an hour
programs are you ready we've got to a
room the doors are kind of janky the
carpets all dirty and it translates to
everything out here it's freezing that
was so cold
I was not expecting it to be that cold
and pools not the cleanest there's like
leaves and stuff floating in it so I
just get in the hot tub
so there is a switch to turn on the Jets
for this but the problem with that is it
doesn't work so a good taps broken you
turn it and nothing actually happens in
here this is so much nicer than the pool
is and it's not cleaner than the pool is
[Music]
[Applause]
[Music]
[Applause]
[Music]
[Applause]
[Music]
[Applause]
[Music]
my stake here was wonderful we had a
nice big room a little trouble getting
in at first it took like an hour to get
through the room after we arrived here
but once we got a room everything went
fine
the hotel is pretty clean overall in the
main areas but then some of the areas
like coming up to our door was kind of
dirty paint was chipped but didn't have
the best appearance but overall the
facilities are nice the pool was dirty
but again overall it was really nice

Let's Review Sonic Chaos feat. A+Start (Interview on Sonic Chaos Remake) - Duration: 20:35.
It's late in the year of 1993
and the Master System was coming to the end of its life-span in Europe
and was already discontinued in North America and Japan.
But it had a good run and a sweet library of games.
The brilliant Sonic 1,
the not-so-brilliant Sonic 2,
as well as other classic plays such as Hang-On,
Streets of Rage,
The Lion King,
heck, I even have a soft spot for 'The Ninja',
despite being terrible at it.
But I digress, with Sonic the Hedgehog 3 for the Mega Drive only being a few months away,
it seemed like it was time for the Master System to stop receiving the Sonic treatment.
Actually, no, they could still milk it a bit further.
Sonic Chaos!
Known as Sonic and Tails in Japan,
arrived for the Master System in Europe.
And as already mentioned,
with the console being obsolete almost everywhere else,
North America and Japan only got the Game Gear version.
Yay(!).
And I have to say,
when I initially got my hands on this and booted up for the first time,
I was… 'umm'ing and 'ahh'ing.
I really did not know what to make of it.
At a glance, the sprite art looked poor and the level graphics appeared crowded,
yet it was all bigger and clearer at the same time.
Honestly, I had to do a double check to make sure Sonic Chaos was even an official Sonic game
and not a cheap bootleg.
But no, it's right there.
Brought to you by the same developers who created Sonic 2.
And that title left a sour taste in my mouth.
But will my palate be revived after playing this Chaotic 8-bit classic?
Will my early uncertainty be lifted once giving this game the full time and appraisal?
Let's not waste another second and dive right into this Sonic Chaos Review!
I'm now going to waste a few more moments with my Intro.
All of the game footage you're seeing is being played and recorded from real hardware
unless the video states otherwise.
Just like it was for my Sonic 1 and Sonic 2 Master System retrospectives;
which I highly endorse you watch beforehand.
Not that the plot exactly follows on from the predecessors.
According to playing the game alone;
Eggman steals a Chaos Emerald, and requires the remaining five.
Grab them along the way and as a token of his appreciation,
he'll give you back the emerald he took.
Okay...
Sonic then gets locked up in the Crystal Maze's Dome.
The End.
Eh, what?
What kind of logic is that?
Does the mad man feel pressured by stares in the retro games or something?
If you however do not collect the colourful stones,
Eggman suddenly remembers he has an IQ of 300 and flies away after the final fight.
The ending cutscene is presented which is practically a duplicate of the intro
but with a plain background,
but Sonic concludes with the most pathetic temper tantrum I've ever seen
and then gives chase again.
Try again.
And with Tails, cor, what a bully he is!
He can't seem to get the gems in his run for some bizarre reason
so he just finds Eggman,
beats him up senseless
and scares him out of his fortress.
Then Tails gets bored and runs back home.
I don't think any of us were really that bothered about what was going on;
no one ever checked the manual for anything back in them days.
But for the sake of this video;
The antagonist being Eggman steals one of the emeralds,
which meant the other emeralds became anxious from being separated
and therefore, separate themselves further.
Makes total sense.
As a result,
unbalance was bought to South Island with terrible storms and earthquakes wreaking havoc!
I have no sympathy for Green Hill there!
Sonic and Tails, well Sonic mainly, goes and saves the day.
So, what, you get to play as Tails in this quest?
Too right you do, he's now a selectable character!
And it's not a bad start for the little fella as he's considered as the easy mode.
You start with 5 lives and three continues in the bank!
You're able to fly to reach higher ledges with comfort,
and 100 rings gives you a 1-up rather than opening the special stages,
giving you even less to worry about.
He does however seem to have a flying impediment though.
Instead of pressing the jump button in mid-air to activate like in the classics,
you have to have both feet on the ground and be faultlessly still,
face the sky and then press the jump button.
In which Tails then hovers in the strictest manner I've ever seen.
To be fair, I believe this is the very first official game
where Tails has the skill to fly,
nevertheless, there's no momentum or gravity to his capability
and he ignores all laws of physics.
But I suppose it makes his ability calmer to control.
You use the D-pad to move the fox in the direction you want him to go
and he steadily obeys his given directions.
There's no need to repeatedly stress the jump buttons here.
Eventually, like all games, he gets tired and his weight becomes a thing again.
But no matter, while on the ground he can spin dash!
We finally have one of the best gifts ever invented
in the Sonic series come to life in the 8-bit genre.
Be that as it may, the golden sidekick loses his tails when spin dashing
or rolling,
or jumping...
and it looks very out-of-place!
Ha, uh(!)
But except for that small mis-placement,
Tails is looking very stylish.
He always has that determined look on his face,
he's at the perfect size and uses the correct colour for his fur.
It gives the impression the designers were trying to give Tails the Mega Drive look,
but in an 8-bit form.
Sonic on the other hand,
Good gracious!
What have they done to you?
He's had his hair trimmed to look like the Dorito triangles.
His legs have been awkwardly stretched as if he took some advice from this guy!
And when he runs, he's waddles from side to side.
I can see why they changed his sprite-work in this game,
seeming as Sonic 1 and 2 were practically identical and it needed an overhaul.
And with Tails given the 3D effect,
it wouldn't make sense if the main hero didn't receive the same treatment,
but, compared to Tails,
our blue blur just looks like a cardboard cut-out.
Why did it work out for our younger pal but not for the main protagonist?
Is it the limited shading?
His big fat head?
I can't quite put my finger on it.
What do you guys think?
I would love to hear from you in the comments.
But hey, at least Sonic can now spin dash
which I found extremely useful for passing through corkscrews
and looping around... well, loops.
Sonic clearly cannot fly but he can do the super peel-out.
Two new more mechanics have been added into the adventure.
The long-forgotten hop springs
where Sonic and Tails treat the stage as a bouncy castle to gain extra height,
and the rocket shoes exclusive for Sonic
because screw you Tails, you can already fly,
gives you the ability to blast through the air like nobody's business for a partial stretch.
It's a great way to skip over the level design if you're in a hurry!
But why would you want to bypass over those attractive visuals?
Admittedly, it's not the strongest work of art in the series,
but there's still plenty of detail where needed
and all zones here have got a fresh coat of paint
rather than borrowing assets from other Sonic chapters.
Yet, everything seems a bit larger compared to the former Master System's.
But I welcome that change because it's more pleasing to the eye.
I will say though that there appears to be an insane number of repeated tiles
plastered left-right-centre and it comes across a bit lazy.
Also, not one stage design blew me away.
Jungle Zone in Sonic 1 did, and remains to be my favourite to this very day,
and the outside of Aqua Lake for Sonic 2 was pretty elegant also,
but in here, the best this game ever got out of me was,
"This looks good"
and that was that.
Having said that, Electric Egg has some dynamic flooring
that tail-gated you wherever you ran
and the technical circuit board flowing in the background was also a nice touch.
Which makes me question; what the heck happened to all the other backgrounds?
Did they become camera shy or something?
Very little to optically see and a lot of solid colour.
And Mecha Green Hill which God-forbid they leave out the used-to-death zone name,
looks really bleak and boring.
Which in hindsight, it has been taken over by
"Eggman's robots"
so eh, mission accomplished I suppose!
What I'm trying to say is, they've met their target in creating the right atmosphere,
but at the same time, it will leave a lot to be desired.
Particularly the presentation in this instalment.
Now this is a bit of a grey area to talk about
because I just don't know whether to praise the demonstrations,
or just down-right slate it.
Hear me out.
Right off the bat, you're shown an introductory cutscene
which is related to Sonic 2's opening but without the surrounding emblem.
So, thumbs up for the clearer performance,
but a dislike for the similar story introduction.
It's pretty much just bigger, and has replaced Tails with a lozenge, but that's it.
The title screen is next and apart from for the plain blue background,
I've got nothing but admiration for this display.
Gone away with the insignia banner combination,
they've tried a new aspect and it's really paid off
with the smart look of the shaded ring and the comprehensive expression of our heroes.
But it's from here, the title cards that appear before each act,
and the result screen, have been downgraded since its precursor.
It's simple to read and gets the stats you require, sure,
but I definitely prefer Sonic 2's style.
Sonic Chaos' presentation is a little lacking.
But I'll tell you what has finally arrived to Sonic's Master System expedition
is the inclusion of special stages!
About bleedin' time!
I love the way you have to have to enter them too!
No need to discover big rings,
or checkpoints which require special permits.
Just find 100 rings in the zone and Sonic will automatically warp to the trials.
It can be pretty tough obtaining that many rings without losing some;
particularly as there's no such things as shields again!
But with this game being pretty easy,
and they have given you more than enough chances to acquire that many, you should be fine.
So what field is the special stages representing for this game?
Well it differs.
All five special stages,
yes, five,
because Eggman took the sixth emerald,
consists of variant level gimmicks.
The first task is to
"blast through with Sonic speed"
and grab the emerald towards the end.
And the challenges keep on altering.
From bouncing your way to the top of "Floating Platform Land",
to cleansing the pipes in particular mazes.
It's a bit of a bummer that there are two tube encounters
and two sky rocketing exercises
but the latter can be pretty tough to reach in time.
And as simple as they are,
3 of the 5 rounds I would say takes some trial and error
and you may not grab the reward on your first go.
Really, except for them not being exactly technically amazing,
they're the absolute equity to what we need for perusing the fulfilled game.
And by fulfilled game, I mean you get to see the credits and that's essentially it.
No Super Sonic, like always, but there's no secret level this time around either.
They're just lucky that I like to add a bit of spice to my game play
and complete the Special Stages anyway seeming as the whole game is super short!
And I mean, several levels can be completed within 30 seconds.
Including the final zone which is such a breeze to speed on through.
Even the signpost likes to calculate your speed and ask,
"How'd you get here so quickly?"
By the by, I don't know how these speedometers work.
Yet again, the signpost causes a commotion and it isn't easily explained in the manual--
Holy crud!
Are the instructions telling me how to gain a Sonic sign post?
It's a miracle!
Apart from that, no idea how to display the other cast or the rings or--
Did I just break the game?
The manual says nothing.
Okay then.
It happened again another 2 times and I found out this is an actual feature!
You have to spin it again!
You gain nothing and you lose nothing with this happening, so what's the freaking point?
Such a waste of time coding this useless innovation.
And it so happens, the bosses almost got the same treatment.
Seriously, I'm not even attempting to hurt him and here,
I am waiting for him to attack but he does... nothing.
Yawn!
Now this is definitely broken.
Even the final boss isn't too difficult when you get the hang of the physics to this game.
Just watch how many hits I hand to him before I land on the ground.
Except for a few occasional hiccups, some of which were totally not my fault!
If I'm going down, I'm taking you with me!
I can't see anyone struggling with these bosses.
But at least they've finally given us rings for the battles now...
which just makes it a ton easier!
Unfortunately, there is one fundamental flaw affecting the gameplay which is hard to ignore.
The slowdown is unreal in this game!
I mean for the love of Monkey Trumpets, the lag is everywhere!
In high traffic areas which is forgivable,
in calm, quiet places which is unacceptable,
even as soon as you start the very first act of the primary level, boom, frame drop.
Who on earth gave this game the greenlight in the condition it's currently in?
It's pathetic.
A few times my button presses weren't even registering
and what knacked me off was that I was only 1 ring from entering the damn special stage!
Okay, before you go and fetch your pitchforks,
yes, sure,
both previous ancestors also contained pace-breaking gameplay here and there,
but it was understandable.
With being underwater alongside air bubbles floating,
by rings jumping all over the place because of the crab being in the gangway, the little pri--
Pinch!
I'll go with pinch.
But this title is sluggier than a... slug.
I had nothing, let me have this!
It's a tad smoother on the game Gear version but even then, it's still present.
It's a shame really because if it weren't for the slothfulness,
the gameplay would have been alright.
It's not all bad news though.
As the tunes for this adventure are pretty jammin'.
First of all, that sound as I've personally dubbed as the 'beat-boxing' effect
has been greatly reduced since Sonic 2 but still a notch louder than Sonic 1.
Meaning it's still noticeable,
but it's not a hindrance as before and it settles in nicely.
Therefore, I can finally indulge in hearing all of the other instruments that make up the songs.
The whole soundtrack to Sonic Chaos is an enjoyable listen.
Dare I say it's one of the best so far?
Either way, I cannot get enough of Aqua Planet's melody.
If I have to be honest, before I started to play the game and put my analysis forward,
I wasn't confident on what to think and now, ugh, I'm still not sure.
Since Sonic 2, a few elements have improved such as special stages,
the spin dash and the music,
but other foundations brought it back down such as the game being way too easy and short,
the graphics being sub-par and the lag!
There are also some minor bugs in this game.
For example, the rings have such a tight collision area.
Here I am going perfectly straight not touching the D-pad
and abruptly I stop gathering rings...
Why?
Or how about this?
I collected 100 rings fair and square.
Wait, what?
I got kicked out immediately!
What was the timer on for that special stage; zero?!
That son of a--
Glitch!
Hey, what's going on?
A+Start: Oh, sorry, I thought you were going to swear so I had to cut in!
RHS: Aw, man, aren't you the guy behind the remake on Sonic Chaos?
A+Start: I sure am!
Well, it's not just me; there's also a team of really talented people joining me on this project.
RHS: I'd love to hear more.
This is one of my favourite fan games in SAGE last year.
So, who are the awesome guys behind this development?
A+Start: Firstly, we have Mr. Potatobadger, who's not only the lead programmer on the entire project,
he's also the one responsible for making the Crimson Engine that powers the entire game.
And he's joined by TheStoneBanana who also programs the game and is incredibly talented for his age.
What these two guys have done in the past year and a half
is amazing to bring what is essentially a fan game
into something that actually feels more like a real Sonic game.
Any ideas that I've had with the game I've been able to send their way
and they've been able to kind of make it a reality.
RHS: Oh wow, it sounds like they got a lot ahead of them
but I'm glad you got extra members in your crew to help get them support?
A+Start: We have Heraga, Jassbec and Sparks
who work together to work on the level design.
We also have Tpot who kind of doubles as a programmer and also,
he's like our go-to guy if we have a problem; amazing team member.
And then finally on music we have Michael Staple
who is just killing it with this soundtrack for this game.
Some of the things that I've asked him to do, he kind of just nails!
One great example is Turquoise Hill Zone Act 1.
I kind of wanted to go with something that wasn't the original theme
and so I described to him something that was a bit more the first stage of a game
and a bit friendlier to the player,
and he took the original theme from the original games
and kind of made it something a bit more playful
and a bit more beach themed I want to say.
And it fit the whole Act 1 being the first stage and welcoming you into the game
and he just nailed it!
And that's not to mention things like the boss themes
and all the options menus and things like that.
Just the music for this game is going to be incredible
and it's mostly just his genius that kind of carries the whole thing.
And then my job on the whole project is basically the Game Director
but I also do all the artwork, all the animation, all the kind of,
everything you've seen from the title screen to just some of the new animations with Sonic,
the zone looks and designs, which kind of evolve over time.
You never go with your first draft; you always kind of try to figure the design out.
And we're still working on that,
there's still a lot of things that people have seen that we may change.
And there's also a lot of things that they haven't seen which we will eventually reveal.
RHS: I had no idea how much work had to go into a remake!
So, how did this all come together?
A+Start: The story behind this Sonic Chaos remake is actually kind of funny
because it really started out as a joke.
I did some mock-up designs and posted them on Twitter
and then Mr. Potatobadger actually approached me and said,
"we could actually make this!"
And the whole premise behind this remake is to do something along the lines of Sonic Mania
but what would Sonic Chaos look like if it was Sonic Mania?
That kind of idea just taking an older game and reinventing it to be something new and modern.
I know that sounds kind of weird
in the context that it's a pixel art Classic Sonic game but you get what I'm going for.
RHS: When I first saw the trailer, I did mistake it for being a Sonic Mania mod.
For that alone, these guys must know what they're doing!
The team is fantastic.
There's a lot of things you don't see when you consider how a game is made.
And you know that obviously there's things like the visuals and the music to the game
and that's something you can see first-hand,
but you really have to commend everybody that's working behind the scenes
and the jobs that you don't necessarily think of.
These guys just, kill it!
Absolutely nail it.
So, expect to see more from this game in the future!
There's some more demos to come but there's already a demo that you guys can play right now.
Absolutely, for everyone's convenience,
I have left a link in the video description to the download page
where you can try the SAGE 2018 demo for yourselves.
As you can see, I've played it and I am full of anticipation
to see what's to come from this project.
Although this early sample does show a few bugs such as contact errors on the monitors
and...this.
But in all honesty, I'll be keeping my eye on this one.
But until then, how about next Saturday,
I'll do a live stream of Sonic Chaos using the Game Gear?
The details for that can be found in the description.
Thanks ever so much for watching guys!

Best Camera for Kids - Mini Kids Camera Unboxing and Review - Duration: 6:04.
in today's video I'm actually gonna be unboxing a mini camera in here so I've
got this off eBay what's that sound hang on I didn't order the kids music
this is a Tecna review why am i hearing kids music in here okay well I guess I'm
gonna start unboxing kids stuff now
probably wondering why why why why why am i unboxing this okay first of all my
daughter actually saw me playing with a camera and actually bought her a small
camera a small toy camera before actually I didn't find out what I found
it so I actually bought her a toy camera before so this is an Avengers toy camera
that I just bought in Target or Big W anyway it's a toy camera right makes
sounds and then it gives you random images so superheroes my daughter is a
little bit older now and she's seen me do my videos everything she's asked me
now can you buy me your camera because this camera doesn't do anything she
wants to take photos you know all those things you want to sort of copy daddy
maybe I should set up a channel for her anyway hey did a quick search online
what's best cheap mini camera for children and I stumble across this side
actually bought this on eBay I'll drop the link down below so you can have a
look but I don't even know which brand this is we're getting all made in China
right this one's also made in China by the way so this camera is the world's
coolest child SLR with 1.5 inch screen which is suitable for the cultivation of
children's photography hobbies development of the brain and love
outdoors and so on basically what it's telling me it's a cheap camera that your
kids can use also it actually states there it can be a gift for toys for
children okay sounds good to me sign me up so I paid 25 Australian dollars
including free shipping needs on bosses I'm gonna test it out make sure it works
before I give to her okay this is where the proper music comes in okay no more
none of those kids music and I've got the camera here charging cables SD card
to use being oh please it comes with stickers my daughter will definitely
love this small children SLR see that's the name small children SLR bilingual
there's the Chinese instructions here you can see that this is the
there's no battery so I definitely need to charge this one okay so all the
cameras charge I was also searching for our micro SD card so I actually have a
an SD card in here does it come with an SD card so you have to bring your own so
there's no autofocus or any of those you know advanced functionalities an SLR
camera basically it's a point-and-shoot mini camera its small in size it has
five megapixels it can also record video and it reduces resolution of 1080 give
the screens you get the Settings button in there the power button the revisit
button and then the up/down button and also a digital camera shutter all right
let's see what it turns on I can't I'll charge you two for a couple minutes so
ladies you can see ah there you see there you go sorry
snapping there's no card I'm gonna turn yourself again okay take to you I've got
the SD card now alright let's turn this on it would see me and I'm gonna take a
photo of that 1 2 3 actually comes with a shutter sound let me try again try
again here what do you know who is this good-looking guy me it goes up and down
and now okay you can actually delete photos I just deleted photos in this
press this and then hit the ok here boom I'm not going to delete at the moment
because I want to save some of the photos into the computer travel over to
have a closer look on the quality I'm not expecting much because this is a 5
megapixel camera this type of camera you don't expect really good autofocus so
there's a little bit of shake if you're shooting in a standstill without any
shakes it's actually not too bad to record a video you need to hold the
shutter long
okay there you go it's recording now hello world hey everyone
hi everyone instead us here welcome to my channel okay let's see what our
footage I'm assuming a record so to go am i need to export what's in there and
then put it to my computer well you can see me hey everyone here welcome to my
channel actually comes with audio subscribe to my channel and I already
have my expectation that this is not going to look great on low light
conditions there's a lot of light coming in here so some image footage may look
alright but you know once becomes dimmer or there's less light we'll see how the
image performs so audio quality is not the best again don't expect too much
from this 5 megapixel camera so I bought this online for 25 dollars got it on
eBay again I was actually looking for something that actually takes photos but
they realize this can take videos as well so it's a win-win situation for me
because I got something that I can give to my daughter that she can play around
with it see she can sort of you know start getting more creative and gives an
opportunity for mods the order to actually learn about photography
understand how it works and play around with it have fun and I
can't it's cheap it's something that you can use you can take care of she'll
learn more about responsibilities she'll learn about how to charge your
equipments anyway father of the Year award income well look that's really

Rupaul's Drag Race All Stars Season 4 Episode 7 Full REVIEW: Which Queen Got Clubbed? - Duration: 1:56.
Latrice Royale clawed her way back onto the show and earned the power to eliminate one
of her fellow queens this week. This week's episode divided the queens into teams of two
to host their own club night. As dictated by Ru, "each team is responsible for every
detail, from the name to the decor to the entertainment, down to the signature cocktails."
Latrice got to pick the teams, putting Monet X Change with Monique Heart, Trinity the Tuck
with Manila Luzon and Valentina with Naomi Smalls — the last of which turned out to
be a total disaster. The first club was Monique and Monet's space-alien club, which "personifies
the mystery and the unexpected," was a big hit with the judges, who agreed that it "made
some sense… and no sense." But Michelle Visage put it best when she simply called
it "stupid fun." Club Hive, the brainchild of Trinity, Manila and Latrice — was the
best. Decorated like the inside of a bee hive, this club was a pun enthusiast's paradise.
Naomi and Valentina's '90s fashion-themed joint was a solid attempt, but as the judges
rightly pointed out, it was "one-dimensional" and it "needed to be more." The blame,
of course, should fall on Valentina, who contributed more problems than solutions while constructing
Club 96. Valentina gave the performance of her damn life, while Naomi straight-up threw
her partner under the bus for not contributing as much in the challenge. Through tears, Latrice
chose to send home Valentina. Do you think she was the right queen to go? Drop a comment
with your thoughts below.

New Al Waha Flavors - Elite Edition Line - Flavored Hookah Tobacco Review - Duration: 3:34.
*music* Announcer: Welcome to Southsmoke.com, the web's #1 premier hookah store.
Enjoy this video and make sure to visit us on web at www.SouthSmoke.com
Voice Over: Hey what's up guys?
SouthSmoke here, back to talk to you about some new flavors from Al-Waha Tobacco.
A little background first.
Al-Waha was started in 1993.
It's well known for their variety of exotic flavors.
Manufactured in Jordan, the Elite Edition is sold around the world.
It's a blonde, French leaf tobacco.
A fairly juicy cut but very flavorful.
Great for hookah beginners and enthusiasts alike.
The purpose of the latest line of Elite flavored tobacco from Al-Waha was to accomplish a strong
flavor capable of holding up throughout a smoke session.
Heavy enough to not fade from start to finish but not be overwhelming and I think they've
accomplished those goals.
These creative mixes with even more creative names are meant to give you the best smoke
session yet.
Let's get into some of these new flavors and explain some of the flavor profiles behind
them.
Big Boy was designed to be a Watermelon Chill flavor.
As far as taste, a very strong watermelon with a little hint of mint at the end but
it's more of a menthol cooling effect.
Next up we have Casper.
Another heavy flavor profile of Lemon Chill and the flavor reiterates that with a heavy
lemon flavor and more of an icy cooling effect at the end like Big Boy.
Dirty Thirty is a Blackberry with Strong Mint flavor profile.
The smell is somewhat blackberry with a very extra strength mint along with it and the
flavor is really weighted towards that mint.
Think blackberry mint but extra strength.
Friday 13.
The name doesn't really hint at it but the flavor profile is a Peach – Vanilla Ice
mix.
The smell is very smooth.
You definitely get the creamy mixture of the peach and vanilla.
A creamy mix of peach and vanilla with the icy cooling effect at the end.
Last but not least we have Tornado with a flavor profile of a strong Spearmint.
Smell and taste would be exactly what you think, a very strong, heavy spearmint.
Great for those spearmint lovers and I'd say strong is an understatement.
There you have it.
The new flavors from Al-Waha Tobacco's Elite Edition.
Be sure to check out SouthSmoke.com for the latest flavors from Al-Waha.

Prima Leisure Deluxe Infinity Air Awning Review 2019 [CC] - Duration: 15:22.
hello welcome back to here we tow today I've got the deluxe Infinity air awning
from 2019 from Prima Leisure as you can see it's fitted to the Phoenix that
we've got on loan at this moment in time and we're currently at Longleat
the caravan and motorhome club site it's actually Christmas Day we've put it
through its paces it's been winter we've had a few storms how's it fared up well
stick with us stay tuned and watch after this
so I'm sure you've seen several times the air awnings being put up so the Prima
Leisure one is very similar to the Vango in the respect of I'd peg it out to
the to the caravan first then it inflate it then I'd peg out round the sides to
be able to stabilise it as you can see here I'll just show you we've got the
storm straps the straps that come included with the with the kit they're
all pegged out to give it a bit of stability and also to help it to stay on
the ground what I do like is it similar to the Vango on the corners on these
outer edges they've actually got adjustable straps
so you can peg them in and then tension it up so you can actually get it a
little bit tighter towards the ground we've got these skirts which come out
which also keep rain out of the the awning when it's fully put up and also a
very a nice other feature of these flaps at the top that stop the rain from
coming down at the side of the awning and also just help with the stabilising
against the caravan when it's in the awning channel as you can see here I've
not strapped it down I have at the back which gives tension on the awning
channel what that tension does is it stops the awning from moving down the
van when the weather is particularly bad as you can see here I have twisted the
awning straps as well to stop that that rattle from the wind noise but what I've
done there is I've put it on the back and it just keeps it in place nicely so
it doesn't move along the caravan obscuring either
door on the windows because these are a good size for being able to to be able
to bridge the doors and the windows to be fair there they're made very well
for the Bailey but they'll fit most of the caravans so what comes in the box
are these carbon fiber rigid poles gives a nice tight seal against the edge of
the caravan and just stops the wind from being able to creep in between the
caravan and the awning which also helps to stabilise the awning itself because no
winds getting under it or down the side of it you also get a PVC footprint which
is basically almost like a ground sheet lining that will keep the awning nice
and clean and dry you get the caravan draft skirt which as you can see here
runs the length of the caravan and again this stops the wind from coming
underneath and being able to get a hold of the awning when the weather is
particularly bad as you can see in the corners here I have actually had to peg
it down in order to stop the wind from just getting under because like I said
we have been here during winter and there has been some storms so because of
that we've had to really peg it down well it has held up fairly well in the
bad weather it is all season awning so therefore it can be used any time of
the year but as you can see it's it's fared really well
I've very pegged it a couple of times but that has been down to the weather
you also get the pump and the pegs so you get these you get just normal pegs
with it I've actually upgraded and gone for these rock pegs because I find them
a lot better on hard standings for the awnings and what you do get as well with
the rock pegs you get these little elasticated
extenders which I found that I've needed the one thing that have struggled with
with this awning is being able to get it flush with the bottom of the caravan
right next to the caravan I'm not sure if it's something I've done but as you
can see there doesn't actually touch the floor when it's right up close next to
the caravan so I've had to use the extenders to be able to get it down
which I feel if they'd have put the adjustable straps against the caravan
side as well that would alleviate that problem and I could have used that to
then tie tension and tighten up the side where
the awning meets the caravan underneath and giving it a bit of a nicer and
tighter feel the plus sides that I like as you can see here we've opened up the
skylights if you like the higher up PVC panels that allow you to be able to get
some Sun lighting on a nice day obviously the days not the days aren't
nice here at the moment so it is what it is but I have opened them to show you
exactly how how they look and also these large doors now these are fantastic
there are large windows however you can also unzip these and use these as doors
so that each one of these will actually unzip as a full door which gives you a
little bit of versatility in respect of these end doors because as an optional
extra you can get a sleep in annex which will obviously drastically increase the
size of your awning but will also zip into these either side outer panels so
either at the front or the back of the caravan you can extend it so that you've
got a little bit more space for people to be able to sleep or even a bit more
storage if you've brought a few bits and pieces
away or you're away for a little longer you can also get as an optional
extra a cotton roof liner the cotton roof liner what I think will clip in to
these little fastenings where they're illuminated with these little black
o-rings on each of these beams I feel that that will be where the the the roof
liner will attach that will give you a little bit more shade but it will also
soften and probably keep a little bit of the condensation out during the winter
but it just gives you a little bit more shade a little bit softer light in the
awning as as you using it this awning again I'll show you outside
it is the single point inflation awning which I have found really simple to use
it took took a lot of pumping up I've got to be I've got to be honest
but that's because I left one of the one of them unfastened so that was my fault
so any one of these are where you can pump up
and because it's a single point inflation obviously once you've finished
just unscrew those take them off and that will let down the whole awning I
think for 2019 it's got a good look about it I like the colors goes well
with the caravan very well held down and obviously the Prima logo these air vents
condensation buildup so as you can see there they have got a mesh
on the inside and on the outside there is a rain cover to stop any driven rain
coming in to the awning one of the other things to note here
is you do have pads these are pads so that the air beams when they're pushed
up against your Caravan they don't make any marks and obviously cushions the
awning up against the caravan as you can see here this is the pipe work for the
single point inflation so you can isolate any part of these air beams
should you actually get a puncture heaven forbid
at any point during you stay whilst you're away and hopefully then be able
to isolate the puncture and to be able to fix the broken part as with most
awnings nowadays they do have a fly mesh so you can have the door open with air
coming through when the weather is a little bit warmer keep the bugs and the
flies out but to get that that flow of air through the awning it has a curtain
here again for a window which can be pegged back so that gives you a little
bit more light so in theory you could on this 390 have five panels on the doors
on the side with windows and then you've got the upper skylights as well which
are an additional three with the 390 we got provided with there are six
individual brace bars all these again are inflated to the pressures that are
shown on the pump that's provided and these have worked really quite well
again another little bit of a niggle but these are flat so as you can see there
the bar does come round the seal is very very good but it just it doesn't sit
with it properly so I've just just a little bit unsure as
how long that will last without wearing obviously if you using it a fair bit the
wear and tear factor of it as you can see here again on these on these bars
they are zip lined so should you get a problem you can unzip them take them out
and then fix the offending part but that holds the bracer beams in place for when
you're actually inflating the awning from the single point and I've got to
say I don't normally do this I don't mention prices but since this is a 2019
brochure it should be good for the next year so what I'm gonna say
is the Deluxe Infinity 260 which is the smaller awning to this that's
currently retailing seven hundred and forty nine pounds 99 this one the Deluxe
Infinity 390 is currently retailing at eight hundred and forty nine pound
ninety nine so a penny short of eight hundred and fifty pounds the Deluxe
Infinity 420 the next size up that's nine hundred and forty nine pounds
ninety-nine pence and to add to it if you're wanting to add an annex
then the sleep in annex for the air awning is one hundred and forty nine pound 99p
so that gives you a little bit of an idea what the price's are I've got to
say I've got to add the caveat that is at this moment in time and I'm recording
this if you're watching this a long time in the future then obviously the prices
will have changed so that's currently what they're at as of Christmas Day
December 2018 so hopefully that gives you an idea what the price will be like
and as you can see here we've opted for the Bailey wheel arch cover that is a
really good idea so neat so tidy keeps the air out from obviously blowing
underneath the caravan and coming through and into the awning normally
you'd have to make those yourself with most other makes and manufactures
Bailey they've included this and they've got this as an option
obviously it doesn't come with this awning but I just think it's a really
good idea even if you don't get it with the awning it just gives a nice little
bit of security adds and covers any wheel locks wheel clamps or any security
that you've got potentially on your Caravan just stops people looking at
those unwanted eyes looking at exactly what security you have so it can act as
a little bit of a security feature as well but also you can peg these out so
if it runs independent of the awning then this can be pegged out and it can
hold itself down under its own steam without the awning
so in summary that's what I found in relation to the Deluxe Infinity 390 Prima
Leisure air awning for 2019 overall I think it's quite a good awning I would
say it's a little bit overpriced if you could get it for a couple of hundred
pounds cheaper than what it's actually advertised at and I think it would be an
absolute bargain but in its own right I think it's a cracking awning that'll
serve you well in the future feels nice and thick and the construction itself is
pretty good so they're definitely getting there a little bit longer and
they'll have it nailed thanks very much for watching have a look in the
description below of any details that you want to see and hopefully we'll
catch you in the next one so thank you very much for watching see you later

Dragon Quest Heroes 2 Review - Duration: 9:03.
If you've been on my channel for 10 seconds, you'll know I love the game Dragon Quest
Heroes.
So, naturally, when I heard there was a sequel, I bought it and started playing right away.
But does this sequel improve on the first game?
Well, a short answer would be yes, but I'm not good at giving short answers, so let's
get analyzing!
We'll start off with the gameplay, and we have a lot of stuff to talk about here.
Dragon Quest Heroes 2 basically keeps the same kind of combat from the first game.
You still have regular attacks, spells, and high tension attacks that you use to beat
up a bunch of monsters in a 3D board.
And repeating these mechanics is a good thing.
A sequel still needs to keep some of the concepts of the previous game, and Dragon Quest Heroes
2 maintains a nice balance of old and new features.
There are a lot of cool new additions that improve the gameplay of Dragon Quest Heroes,
and you can tell the developers listened to the criticisms of the first game.
You still have to always have your protagonist in your party, whether it be Lazarel or Teresa,
but now there's a new class system that allows your protagonist to use the fighting
styles of other characters in the game.
You can also now change which spells you want each of your characters to use, and you can
set abilities called party powers, which are little improvements onto your party like an
attack boost when someone dies or an increased critical hit rate.
All of this new customization was a little overwhelming at first, and I wasn't exactly
sure what to do with it all, but once I got into the game, I was able to use a lot of
these features really efficiently.
Another big change in Dragon Quest Heroes 2 is the addition of wild zones.
These areas are more like the main Dragon Quest games, since they are places where you
have to travel to a quest or look for special items while fighting monsters you run into
along the way.
The wild zones are fun, but I only really enjoyed them after I beat the game.
I liked exploring new areas and getting that satisfying feeling of completing a map, but
when I was trying to get to a mission during the story mode, the wild zones were annoying
to travel and felt kind of pointless.
And because you can basically just run through them, they seemed like a waste to me.
I did enjoy them post game because exploring them gave me something to do, but for a while
I kind of hated them.
I guess this doesn't really count as a complaint or a compliment, maybe it's just that the
wild zones can sometimes be a fun place to explore or a hassle you have to trudge through
to get to a mission.
One of the other big additions to this game is the dungeons.
A few of the dungeons are based around fighting off waves of monsters, but most of them are
just like the boss fights in the last game.
I had lots of fun beating the different challenges, and most of them had a good balance between
being difficult but not infuriatingly hard.
Also, you can use characters from Dragon Quest Heroes when playing in a dungeon, which was
a nice little callback to the first game.
With the dungeons, you can now play online with other people, and I wish I could talk
about this more, but I didn't really get to try it out.
I wanted to give online play a go so I got a Playstation Plus free trial, but I only
ended up playing one story battle with another person because every time I tried to set up
a lobby or join a game, no one responded!
Either way, that one experience I had was really fun, and I wish I could have played
more but I guess this game is dead by now.
All of these new features provide a lot of variety to the game, but there is one thing
that I wish Heroes 2 had taken from the Heroes 1.
When I was reading reviews for Dragon Quest Heroes, the main thing I saw people complain
about was the combat being mindless and repetitive.
I did agree with them that the frantic gameplay got old after a while, but after playing Dragon
Quest Heroes 2, I kind of miss it.
There aren't really any quests where you're being attacked from all sides and you have
to wipe out a massive horde of monsters.
You don't get to zoom around the board taking out mawkeepers while at the same time watching
the map in the corner to see where the monsters are.
The only mission I can think of that tries to achieve this is the Den of the Defenders
dungeon, but the board is so flat and boring that it just feels like you're running around
randomly slicing up mawkeepers.
I know the combat of Dragon Quest Heroes became kind of mindless by the end of the game, but
I wish they would have still kept it for Heroes 2, just in moderation.
Overall, the gameplay in Dragon Quest Heroes 2 is an improvement on the original.
I'm glad that the game designers added a variety of new features while still keeping
the main concepts from the first game and that they made it a little more challenging.
So now that we've covered the gameplay, let's talk about the story.
In my review of Dragon Quest Heroes, I said that I felt like the story was too simple.
The plot of the first game was just like a generic chosen one story about good triumphing
over evil and using the power of friendship to save the day.
So Heroes 2 tried to make the story a little more serious and interesting, and at first
I was happy with it, until it all started falling apart.
(Also I'm gonna be revealing all the plot twists so if you're planning to play the
game then don't watch this part.)
Alright? Cool.
There is so much stuff going on in this story.
First our goal is finding out who killed Cesar's father, then it's about stopping the war
between the kingdoms of the Beastlands, then the King of Harba dies, then we have to stop
the High King because he's actually evil, then we find out the High King is actually
this thousand year old monster king Fractos and Lazarel and Teresa aren't actually cousins
but twins from a prophecy and are destined to defeat Fractos and save the world!
Even if the plot of Dragon Quest Heroes was simple, at least I knew where it was going!
There were some twists and turns with the children of light, Velasco, and Shadroth,
but these all connected together with the overarching conflict of curing the evil monsters.
What does all this Fractos stuff have to do with the fighting in the Beastlands?
I guess they're both about war or something?
I'm glad the story was more intriguing this time, I just wish it was more focused.
The writers made it a bit too complicated and there was a lot more stuff going on then
there needed to be.
Alright, for this part I'm gonna get a little bit ranty, but I just really wanted to talk
about the ending cutscene.
Revisiting Dragon Quest Heroes, the final cutscene was really well done.
It had a nice balance of happy and sad moments, and it ended on a kind of calm yet sweet note.
I mean, it wasn't amazing or had me bawling my eyes out or anything, but it was a good
conclusion and to be honest, I still like to watch it sometimes.
Now, like the game's story, the Heroes 2 ending cutscene feels a little all over the
place.
After defeating Fractos and the High King, the kingdoms are left without a ruler, so
Desdemona and Cesar decide that Lazarel and Teresa should become king and queen.
Which I mean, I guess is reasonable because they are the chosen ones who saved the world,
but like they're still only in school!
Anyway, Lazarel and Teresa notice that the Dragon Quest characters are missing, so they
run off and find them standing on some balcony thing.
Of course, Lazarel and Teresa are like "what are you guys doing aren't you going to see
our coronation" and then the DQ characters say "well we were just going to leave without
saying goodbye because we thought it would be too sad".
What?!
Okay back up: they were going to just leave without even staying to see Lazarel and Teresa
be crowned king and queen?
What if Lazarel and Teresa thought they were still in Accordia and went looking for them,
only to never find them and think they were dead or something?
Anyhow, the scene keeps going and everyone gets to have a little moment together when
Angelo's just like "welp, Empyrea's here, let's go" and they all just start
jumping off the cliff!
And before I know what's happening, Lazarel and Teresa are being showered with praise
and are shouting about being king and queen of the whole world.
WhAaAaA?!
I know I sound really nerdy right now getting upset over a cutscene in a Dragon Quest game,
and I just want to clarify this didn't ruin Heroes 2 for me or anything, but I feel like
the last cutscene of a game is always the most important because it's the final impression
left on a player, so seeing Dragon Quest Heroes 2 rush through it and screw it up was just
a little disappointing.
Especially when I compare it to the ending of Dragon Quest Heroes, it just feels like
the writers could have done better.
Look, I wouldn't say the cutscenes or the game's story are bad.
I still love watching the characters interact and seeing the story unfold.
I just kind of started to miss the more cohesive plot of Dragon Quest Heroes, even if it was
a bit corny.
In the beginning of the video, I mentioned that one of the biggest jobs of a sequel to
a video game is to improve on the first installment, and I would definitely say Dragon Quest Heroes
2 delivers on that.
There are a ton of new features that add some well-needed variety to the series, and while
the plot is kind of messy, it was at least a bit more interesting than the story of Dragon
Quest Heroes.
